обзор положительный чисто из-за хорошей графики и того что игра бесплатная, по факту мы имеем пострелушку на месте с 2 оружиями: пистолетом и дробовиком, но из за того что дробовик стреляет горохом вместо дроби и не убивает зомбарей на расстоянии 5 метров, то нормально играется только пистолет, иммерсивности в игре почти нет, пистолет перезаряжается сам, дробовик нужно заряжать самому, что в купе с его маленьким уроном делает его еще более бесполезным, стоит играть только если ВР у вас совсем недавно и вы пока что не знакомы с механиками игр в ВРе
"Propagation VR" is a short and pointless VR tech demo that doesn't have much value compared to real FPS games beyond VR compatibility. It's a static wave survival shooter where you wave your arms around in VR to shoot waves of potentially asset flipped enemies... like it seems crazy the developer would create so many rich, high poly count assets and dump them on a 20 minute long game, right? And the monetization is not cool at all.
What do you do in the game? Stand around, wave your arms in VR, pay money to unlock basic features... you even have to pay money to unlock a sniper rifle. Disgusting isn't it? This is obviously NOT FREE if content and features are paywalled... the developer deliberately chose to abuse the "free" section of Steam for profit. This is not okay.
The game is quite short, and can be run through in just 20 minutes. The lack of content here makes it hard to suggest it's worth spending the time to add to your library and download.
The assets look a little mismatched but they're also much higher quality than the actual game. It's a bit of a red flag for an asset flip, but there's no evidence or smoking gun in this case. While there's no proof, the overall low quality of the actual "game" part (an important part of the whole package that makes up a game) is indistinguishable from an asset flip, and no matter where the assets came from, the quality here is bad.
It's VR exclusive, and that shows the developer failed to understand the most basic axiom of VR game design... if the only cool thing about your product is VR support, your product is not cool.
You're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for such a relatively low effort, low quality product, this comes across more as a delusion of grandeur than anything else. This agreement includes questionable requirements that may attempt to revoke consumer law protections that gamers expect to have, which is also highly problematic. Developers must learn they are here to serve gamers, not control them. I had my cat walk over the keyboard while the EULA was displaying, which fixed that problem for me.
This game is fairly dated at 6 years old... and even back then it looked old and busted compared to contemporary, professionally made 3D games of the same period. It looked bad then, it looks worse now.
Now onto pricing and value.
You're expected to pay up $11 USD to unlock content and game features through DLC purchases. The game should not be considered completely unlocked until you empty your wallet for the developer. This is misleading and predatory pricing on a product falsely marketed as "free".
This "free" game won't count toward your game collection count on your profile. With that in mind, is it something you should still download?
Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.

this game really looks nice. because you don't walk around they payed more detail to how the game looks. the game is free the co op cost 10 bucks and is 2 players. i wish you it up to 4 and maybe a harder difficulty with more weapons but for what it is try the game out you might like it i did
Whaaat, I've had this in my library for the longest time and finally decided to try it, completed it in 35 minutes, loved it! Beautiful and satisfying.
This is a surprisingly good experience for a free game!
At first, I was searching for movement controls, before I realised that it is a static wave shooter :P When I played for a couple of minutes, I quickly forgot about not moving. There is enough shooting and reloading to keep me occupied.
Enemies have very cool animations and later even move-sets. There is a cool boss battle at the end. It gets more intense with time. The environment looks amazing, sound effects are great (and they are important to know something is creeping behind).

At first I thought my Meta wasn't working with it but you are rooted to the spot when you're playing. If you can get over that fact, you might enjoy the game but I couldn't help but get frustrated with the lack of movement. Graphics are fine and the shooting mostly works but they need a story reason as to why you cant do anything but rotate on the spot.
This game is terrifying but it was really fun at the same time, making my friends beside me laugh at my terror.
It's free. It's awesome. Still remember playing it when I just started VR gaming.

It's a good stationary wave-based shooter. I don't usually like having to purchase individual weapons separately, but this a free game it gets a pass. Also, I recommend emptying your bladder before jumping in

So weird thing happened, one morning when i got on the game i randomly got the sniper without paying anything, is this a bug? Also don't take my sniper away please, its very useful against everything except spiders. I would recommend this game, but having to pay $10 for co-op in a short 20 min experience is outrageous.

Propagation VR feels more like an old arcade shooter than a full VR game. You’re mostly stuck in one spot shooting enemies as they come at you, which made it feel pretty limited and repetitive. I was hoping for more freedom or depth, but it plays very on-rails.
To its credit, the atmosphere is decent and it can be spooky at times. The visuals and sound design do a good job creating tension. But for me, that wasn’t enough to make it enjoyable long-term.

Great game to ♥♥♥♥ your pants, won't play this again till the flamethrower commes out. Punching the zombies when they are too close is very fun though, and the graphics and sound desing are amazing.

It's good for a beginner in VR that wants a horror game, but it sucks for experienced players. You can't walk around and the reloading is practically automated, not to mention there's little to no objective other than just a wave shooter. I'll give it a positive review since it's free and very beginner-friendly, but experienced players shouldn't bother.
