Якісна гра у більярд (тут представлені пул вісімка, пул дев’ятка та мініігри). Їй вже більше 13 років, але графіка виглядає свіжо. Кулі відполіровані. Фізика адекватна, можна доволі легко вибити кулю з-за меж столу, доступні спеціальні удари. Накат, відтяжка, бічний гвинт, массе, різні трюкові — все працює.
Цікаве керування, яке полягає в тому, що для удару потрібно спершу застиснути ліву кнопку і тягнути мишу назад для контролю сили удару, а потім різко штурхнути рівно вперед, щоб вдарити. Це і незручність, бо може вплинути на прицілювання.
Української локалізації немає.
Висновок: симулятор більярду, який витримав випробування часом.

This game, like it's "FX Lite" version, is also a massive piece of s**t. If you try to put the game in any resolution above 1920x1080, it will crash and keep crashing forever. I never made it past the main menu, except when it was in that resolution. The two minutes I spent actually playing it, made me want to shove scissors in my ears and icepicks in my eyes. I would rather instantly receive Stage 6 Stomach Cancer, Ebola, and AIDs, all at once, along with 27 parking tickets and a foreclosure on my home.
Don't even bother wasting your time, just go play real pool.
$6.99 to figure out I've been playing pool wrong IRL. But anyways, this game is definitely helping me learn my angles for said IRL 9 ball games, so I'd definitely recommend it.
It is an OK game for pool beginners. Not too bad, not too good. First thing first, the whole environment is pleasant, the pool tables are nice, but the FOV is outright wrong, too high. You don't have this much FOV when playing pool, especially when aiming down the cue. It kind of makes the aiming really hard for a seasoned player and also the table takes such a small portion of the screen.
Ball physics are somewhat OK, not perfect, spins have too much effect compared to reality. Ball collisions, especially at speed, sometimes act unnatural. The controls are OK, there could be more feel, difference between power and tempo, but yeah... What would you expect for 5 bucks? Fancy graphics, the pool itself is just barely OK tho. AI takes shots too fast, the way the cue moves away right after making the shot is silly, auto camera is somewhat OK.
The best thing in the game? The cushions, they are quite realistic... Sadly not the most important aspect of a pool game =)
Pool Nation is genuinely one of the best pool simulators I've played — the physics feel solid, the visuals are gorgeous across all the different venues, and the soundtrack perfectly nails that laid-back pool hall atmosphere. The variety of game modes keeps things fresh, from standard 8-ball and 9-ball to endurance, speed pool, and golf, and the career mode gives you plenty to work toward with unlockable cues and decals. My one real gripe is that the online community is essentially dead at this point, so unless you bring your own friends, you're mostly limited to single-player — which is still enjoyable but loses some of the magic. The developers also left some promises unfulfilled, like a snooker mode that never materialized, which is a bit of a sore spot. Still, for the price this regularly goes on sale for, it's an easy recommendation for any billiards fan.

If you wanna play pool on the computer this game is one of the best. The assists can be turned off if you prefer but I love how they let me feel like a pool pro capable of neat trick shots.

I have been playing this game off and on for years. I love how simple it is to get up and playing. The physics and controls feel super intuitive. The AI seems a little silly, but good enough. I love the sound track and a couple of the songs just lift me up every time I play it.
It’s one of those games that I reach for when I want some easy entertainment and I always walk away with a smile and uplifted mood.
I highly recommend it if you like pool and just want a simple no fluff game that’s easy to play.

Holy crap, everything in the UX is like the worst thing possible.
- Can't use ESC in menus
- Took me 7 tries to get two human players because I had no idea what I was selecting
- Turned off aim assist, but apparently that didn't work for the other player.
Like why is this so stupid? Why is this game so needy? Do what I want and get out of the way. I got so annoyed with the garbage UX that I just Alt F4 and uninstalled. Great job.

Very good pool game, it's kinda easy to beat and I'm not going to bother with getting a 3 star on each dude cuz that would be kinda boring. Multiplayer is kinda dead so that sucks but single player is pretty fun.

Crazy how difficult it is to just straight up get a good pool game. You would think they are abundant. Lotta weak F2P garbage out there. This one has everything. I'll consider investing in the DLC for the trickshots stuff....
There's already nice extra goodies in the base game and many modes and tours and the physics are cool, like there's some shots I can do in real life, that's I'm figuring out how to replicate in the game.
Its not a $40 game, I always have to mention that caveat of good, but at what price.... smh. Anyways... that's a different rant. The endurance mode has been testing me, I love it..... Still busy with the tours GGs.

So far, my favourite Pool game and the only thing stopping me from buying Cue Club 2. Unlike its successor (Pool Nation FX), It runs amazingly on my Steam Deck and isn't convoluted, but I wish it had more content in both game modes, skins, and customisations.
This may sound cheesy, but the locations and music are just vibes, specifically, the locations, since they look skeuomorphic. Like Windows Vista, they gave off those early-2000s futuristic glossy aesthetics, especially The Sky Lounge. They were just so nostalgic, and I loved them. Conversely, the music embodied those same skeuomorphic themes, reminding me heavily of those Persona 4 and 5 OSTs. Man, what a game. I've been playing this every morning before class to clear my mind, and I can't wait to gift my friend when he's done his hockey season since we are both pool fanatics.

The controls are utter trash, half the time the mouse controls just do what they want! You could move the mouse vertically from the down to the top and sometimes the ball barely moves. Left click to skip modifies the english of your next shot half the time, who came up with these default controls? The cloth physics are trash, half the time doing finesse shots the cloth acts like a tar pit, other times its acts like their is no cloth on the table at all. It's a broken mess, some of the challenges don't activate even if you do what they are asking.

The controls take a little while to get used to, but the game itself is well made. There are quite a bit of options and a huge list of keybinds that can be customized. The game has 8 Ball and 9 Ball and also an endurance mode where you pocket as many balls as possible before the time expires. There is an online mode, but it doesn't seem like anybody really plays. You can invite other Steam friends, though. My daughter and I play together all the time. It's pretty good. There is a variety of cues, balls, and table decals that you can use for your game play. The physics are really good and you can do a whole range of different shots.
I'm sure 99% of people don't read the reviews. So you may not know that Naruto can be a bit harsh sometimes. You may not know this, but Naruto also grew up without a father. In fact, he never met either of his parents and never had any friends.

Game is unplayable. It loads, then it goes to "Enumerating downloadable content, please wait". The game then closes. Worst game ever. Unfortunately I bought it years ago and am just now getting to play it, so no refund :(

played this for years - great game ! some folks are having issues, i had to check on forums and needed to edit the reg file (using regedit) to get it to work... it DOES have resolution settings, up to 1080, but the launcher where you set resolution (as well as quite a few other settings like AA etc.) may have gotten disabled. it DOES look like it has issues not wanting to run with > 60hz displays tho, be forewarned

Il serait un crime de passer à côté de ce jeu fabuleux. Toute personne osant critiquer Pool Nation ou insinuer que ce jeu n'est pas parfait subira la foudre dévastatrice du Saint Maître O'Sullivan, notre Seigneur à tous. Que celui qui doute de la grandeur de ce jeu se prépare à en subir les conséquences !

Für mich persönlich eine der besten und hübschesten Pool-Simulationen überhaupt. Die Kampagne mit 8-Ball und 9-Ball Tour macht insgesamt sehr viel Spaß und bietet, im Rahmen ihrer Möglichkeiten, eine gute Abwechslung, ebenso wie die Challenges. Die KI kann teilweise sehr herausfordernd sein, sie ist aber keineswegs unfair. Kritisieren kann ich lediglich die teilweise schlechte Übersetzung und extrem seltene Ungenauigkeiten in der Spielphysik. Ein absolutes MUSS für jeden der ein wenig Pool am PC genießen möchte!

This is an interesting ball game, which appears to be played on a table covered in some kind of felt.

Si te aburres del típico 8-ball, puedes saltar al 9-ball, snooker, o cualquiera de los muchos desafíos que ofrecen. ¡Incluso hay power-ups para hacer los partidos más locos! Como meter un super tiro que convierte la partida en una especie de combate de dragones y unicornios, pero en versión bola y taco.

the controller shot meter is not realy working with controller, i can hold back RS as long as i want, and nothing happens most of the times. realy annoying

It's fun enough. However, this is an old game that has not been updated to modern standards. It can render your whole computer unresponsive if you Alt-Tab. It also doesn't use Steam's cloud saves, so, if you uninstall, you lose everything.

One aspect that I would like to mention which is just great is how there is no downtime between shots, matches, menus etc. This is a streamlined game design which i appreciate.
