Can't help but compare this to terraria although this does a lot of things that separates it far from terraria. I have over 2k hours in terraria and expect to put 500 or so at a minimum into this.

There are vastly different variants of the same enemy which adds a lot of chaos to keep you on your toes. The difference between a divine enemy and a regular is night and day. Killing or capturing them offers great rewards too.

The mechanic gear system is very interesting however I wish there was more we could do with it.

Autofarms aren't entirely self automated which I appreciate since my take on autofarming is there should be some level of player input so the game doesn't feel like it can play itself.

Being able to capture enemies, train them, breed them, give them skills, and so many being so different from each other makes for a pretty cool monster collector.

Armor sets aren't just stat buffs but skills integrated into sets. For example, the miner armor gives you a throwable exploding pickaxe that nukes walls and enemies short range. The iron set gives you a giant spike ball that can be summoned and then launched with its hammer skill to smash enemies in a row. Armor sets having such diverse identities adds a lot of useful variety. In terraria you're replacing armor sets constantly as you progress but here I feel the different armor sets are always useful for different situations. There needs to be a faster way to swap them though.

Weapon enchanting/relics is very cool. Gear is leveled as it's used and can be reforged which gives new life to a lot of gear.
The cooking system is absolutely ridiculous with a ton of foods and so many crops to farm. There are crafting chains for food and refinement for some items.
Animal taming is deadly but a lot of fun engaging with. I haven't played a game before where I got killed by a cow this many times while trying to kite it to a taming pen. It's a fast charging mount though which is both funny and legit useful. WAR.COW.

There is a character progression skill system and combos tied to it if you choose to use the combos, for example there is a rising screw attack right out of metroid in this. The sword flurry attack that sends you flying is awesome too. Ground slams, uppercuts etc.

The magic crafting is pretty ridiculous too. This easily has the deepest magic smithing system i've ever saw in a game. Want a fireball? nice. Want a fireball that travels at mach 10, hits a surface, splits into some crazy exploding flower pattern fireball that splits into a hundred directions while chain exploding as it hits more surfaces and enemies? faster? bigger? MORE fireball explosion chains? crazy stuff and that's just fireball, there are so many other magics you can craft with to make your magic YOUR magic.

I haven't encountered any world changing things like terrarias wall of flesh but dungeons and the bosses in them are challenging. I've completed calamity wrath of the gods and I tell you what, the giant boss haunted sword thing shooting explosions while rushing me in the dungeon put me down pretty hard. The wizard throwing galaxies and shooting fireballs is pretty wild too.

I'm having a lot of fun with this.

great game, especially for the price. There's a lot to do, and some complicated stuff like making magic spells or automation (not that complicated), can be completely ignored if you really don't care.

There are a lot of challenges and dungeons underground that keep things interesting, and you can save NPCs that can come to live in your village.

It seems heavily inspired by terraria, but it's not completely obvious, so if you like that kind of game, then you'll probably like this too.

There are some downsides, like lack of bosses, weapons aren't varied outside of swords, hammers and bows, but magic is okay. The plant people feel like a placeholder, and the tutorial isn't very intuitive. I followed this game through early access, and it abruptly stopped which is a shame, but it always felt like one of those early access games that was worth the price even if they never finished it.

Terraria com starbound?
Bom, basicamente, mas muito mais complexo.
Muito bom começar a jogar sem saber nada e ir explorando e descobrindo sozinho, já que o jogo tem o próprio tutorial de acordo com o que você vai descobrindo. Mas ainda é meio confuso e complicado.
Jogo é viciante, quanto mais você descobre, mas dá vontade de explorar.
Ainda não aprofundei muito, mas tem umas engenhocas envolvendo "cogs" e cinética, massa... Treco doido.

É muito é massa esse jogo, ainda mais com um amigo.

10 years development and it’s just a poor and very bad Terraria clone. The movement is just so weird. The mob spawn rate is a joke—monsters are everywhere, and they spawn so fast that getting through any biome without dying is nearly impossible, without constantly using healing potion and prayers. You often get cornered or stuck between monsters leading to constant insta-deaths. There’s no tutorial at all, forcing you to constantly alt-tab to a Wiki or use YouTube, just to understand basic mechanics. Even after a decade, it feels like an unfinished, unbalanced mess that keep randomly crashing for no reason. Don't waste your time on this one.

Its fun for what it is, but its very tedious. The guides are good and they have a solid foundation for what they want to do and I didn't notice any bugs. It seems armor sets change your available skills though, and I don't like being forced to use certain equipment or not be able to use certain armor in order to do my combos. Didn't see anything in the tutorial about it so I'm going to put it down for now.

The monsters in this game make it not fun for me. They spawn way too frequently and will pursue you forever if they are capable of doing so. It's otherwise kind of a typical Terraria clone with a few neat ideas thrown in, but it just kinda feels been-there done-that a bit.

I played this game back in 2017 and I thought it was pretty good back then but also pretty hard! Now playing it in 2026 the game is still definitely difficult still but once you learn the mechanics the game becomes super fun. Getting the 100% was not a walk in the park but also wasn't too much of a challenge just time consuming.

This game has no tutorial and is overall very boring compared to other games like it like Starbound and Terraria. It has no story and its "quest system" is disorganised, if you could even call it that. Also, digging takes too long.

簡潔に伝えるならばテラリアやスターバウンドの劣化版と言うと分かりやすいですかね。
基本的な動作は前者、農業やペット関連は後者寄り。

ツルハシの採掘力は採掘速度に依存しており基本的に掘れないブロックや鉱石はありません、全てのブロックは砂を含めて重力を受けずに浮いているタイプです。
ちなみに水や溶岩の液体の挙動は完全にテラリアであり、やはりと言うべきか大量の液体を流すと空中に留まるバグがあるので、このバグが一部のボスに挑んだ後に厄介になったり…
でも水と溶岩がぶつかり合っても黒曜石は生成されず、お互いの液体分の量が比例して消滅し合います(バケツが存在しないので溶岩の処理がクソ不便
せっかく洞窟で宝を見つけないとソウルが無いと開けられなしい、この仕様いる？

肝心な戦闘部分もこれはひどいレベルでした、プレイヤーの動作から装備まで明らかに弱いのに、敵が湧き過ぎててノックバックもしないので処理し切れずに死ぬ…が多過ぎる。
回復するにしてもクラフトが面倒なポーションと、仕様が悪いせいで一部しか使えないルーンの種類が無駄に多いのがねぇ…(2000回復やら○耐性とか何に使うの？
ポーション酔いのデバフが存在しない都合上、低回復のポーションを連打して使えば良かったりするのがまた。
レベル7のルーンに関しては泥限定であるレア度7の装備を引かないと装備出来ないのが終わってるし、何もかも中途半端で無駄な要素が多い。
HP自動回復も敵が近いと止まる仕様であり、マナの消費コストもとにかく重過ぎる。

ペットの仕様に関してもお世辞にも良いとは言えず、そらをとぶ要因以外で使えるモンスターは存在するのか…？と言うレベルです。
しかもプレイヤーよりも死にやすいのに、マナのコストがクソ重いし再使用に時間掛かるし不必要なレベル。
[spoiler]あ、ストアページに乗っているT-Rexをコマンドでオーバーワールドにスポーンさせると楽しかったです、自分で設置したブロックのみ破壊するので怪獣の蹂躙好きな人は悪用しそう(確信[/spoiler]

最後に、テラリアのアプデも来てしまったので圧倒的にそちらをプレイするのをおすすめします。

Overall, it is a fun game, but kind of lacking - It feels and looks like a nice mix of Terraria and Starbound.

If you like the above mentioned games, you may enjoy this one.

Keep in mind the game doesn't have a tutorial or guide to explain anything. The "guide" from the Crystal at your base is all you get and it still doesn't really explain anything. You kind of have to learn as you go. The game still has a bit of unfinished content as well. Some is still in "Beta" such as Multiplayer and a few crafting stations that I have unlocked so far.

One main issue I have with the game is the farming. While you don't need to till the ground to plant seeds, it's hard to tell where seeds are planted exactly as grass/flowers spread over time. Sometimes it doesn't even look like the seeds are planted when you throw them and you lose the seeds if something is already there.

Mining feels slow, even with upgraded pickaxes on "AUTO" it still feels so slow.

Though, one thing I really love is being able to create your own spells and the magic system. I prefer mage builds and this gives a unique experience to that by letting you craft spells, I hope it gets expanded on in a future update!

I am looking forward to more content and updates for this game, as I see the potential in it.

There is so much more gameplay than what's in the screenshots!

At first I thought this was a basic Terraria clone, but Planet Centauri avoids slowing down progression with annoyances (inventory limit, hidden recipes, equipment-dependent progression, linearity) so that the gameplay can take you so much further. You can tackle bosses & dungeons in any order, completely neglect parts of the tech tree, explore or not, etc. There's just a lot to do, all the time. I've played 20 hours now, but it feels like 20 hours of continuous progress.

Some reviews complain about bugs, but I've only seen 1 minor one: sometimes my selected toolbar item randomly swaps with another item in my inventory. No item is lost, it's just momentarily confusing. Has happened ~5 times in 20 hours and has been very easy to recover from. This game is not ruined by bugs as other reviews would imply.

I'm stopping now, not because I want to, but because I need to get back to IRL. It has been a lot of fun and I really wish I could keep playing and see what's next. There's still so much game I've yet to play.

Has very interesting exploration, art, monsters, and items but it's way too hard I can't get past the first biomes and every weapon feels weak. Armour doesn't get better with rarer materials you're just trading serious weaknesses for new ones. Ridiculously expensive to barely make your weapons any better. No defence beyond upgrading your health pool which isn't helpful when regenerating health is very difficult and you will be killed in seconds against enemies the world seems to consider as basic. The game also does a very poor job of teaching you the mechanics or what items are used for.

I bought this game as a way of paying for my childhood memories.
After coming back, I realized the game has been updated with a lot of things I honestly don’t understand—some of them even feel unnecessary. Overall, I feel like the game has lost quite a bit of its playability compared to before.
I also remember that there used to be an underground dungeon. There was a boss with around 3,000 HP (I don’t remember the exact number), and after defeating it, it would drop a wearable “pet,” something similar to the Phoenix Sword. But now, no matter how much I play, I can’t seem to find it anymore. All I see are a bunch of monster dungeons instead.
Another thing is that some of the bosses shown on the game’s page are ones I’ve never encountered at all. Do they only appear in certain world modes, or am I missing something?

if u want to play multiplayer dont buy it, its unplayable 5 crashes/min. as a single player there is a lot of features missing. the game has potential but there is just too many problems. my itens keep vanishing, no fav itens or stop them from being recycled, in theory u have backups but actually u dont, cause the backup is 1 week old so u have to do backups manually, singleplayer still crashes at least once an hour, and a ton of other tecnical problems

im not even talking about gameplay, the game itself is ♥♥♥♥. the code is ♥♥♥♥.

more buged then cyberpunk77 pls fix your game

Great little adventure with cool creatures and lots of items. Some parts are a bit complicated, but easily ignorable if you don't want to deal with it. OR are excited by it and want to do a deep dive.

It's running fine on my mac M2 sonoma. There is a compatibility warning, but it plays fine.

Первые пару часов казалось все странное, куча непонятных механик, еще и перевод не полный. Но почитал вики, начал пробовать всякое и вроде пока заходит. Ну и саундтрек кстати тут шикарен.
P.S.: летучая мышь с электроразрядами - имба, можно хоть всю игру пройти превращаясь в нее даже на сложном уровне, только некоторых боссов не тянет.

O único problema que vejo nesse jogo é a falta de Jogadores Multiplayer. Tirando isso, TODO o resto é ótimo.

me la eh pasado muy bien con este juego, no es bueno hacerle comparaciones a terraria y es hasta injusto, pero sin compararlo y dejandote llevar por el juego es muy divertido y hasta adictivo, el problema que le veria es que al inicio puede ser dificil pero mientras avanzas y consigues cosas se vuelve facil, y de lo mas tedioso que eh visto seria obtener leche, mejor consigue una vaca pronto en el juego, ya que te va a hacer falta para recetas

Para quem gosta do gênero de aventura que lembra a jogabilidade de Terraria, esse jogo é muito legal.

Tem uma jogabilidade que supera a de Terraria na minha opinião e estou gostando bastante.

This game is like a strange fusion of terraria and Starbound with a bunch of other cool things thrown in, like automation, proper farming and cooking, a robust building system, machines run by cog assemblies powered by windmills and much more. Ik it says i have 98 hours, but i just have left the game open for a few days. My real playtime is more like 8 hours. Worth the money for sure

Insgesamt nett, bzw mit reichlich Potential. Leider unglaublich verbuggt und damit nur sehr eingeschränkt spielbar. Insbesondere im Koop. Aber zum aktuellen Zeitpunkt keine Empfehlung. (Spielabstürze, nicht abbaubare Wände spawnen plötzlich und schießen ein, ohne dass der vorgesehene Kampf folgt, gefällte Bäume bleiben für den anderen stehen, liefern aber keine Ressourcen, etc.)

Planet Centauri teve INÚMEROS problemas na sua criação, engine propria, complexidade extremamente alta mesmo com claras inspirações em Terraria, grande volume de conteudo mas que o player fica confuso no que exatamente fazer, mas de toda forma é um jogo bom com potencial, infelizmente uma falha que não deixou jogo crescer.
Jogo tem muitos pontos fortes e fracos mas até agora não é suficiente pra ser chato, ja que joguei terraria to acostumado a ficar "perdido" , então pra pessoas que conseguem durar mais mesmo sabendo dos problemas, com certeza vai gostar assim como eu

Мне нравится эта игра! Planet Centauri напоминает геймплеем Terraria, но при этом имеет свои отличительные механики и черты.

Вот, например, Magitech технологии. Преврати свой дом в высокотехнологичную космическую базу. Правда я плохо понимаю как это работает...
В интернете есть гайд и он мне помог построить "ферму душ", ведь с недавним обновлением в игре появились "достижения" и она (ферма) помогла получить одно из них.

Думаю система достижений как нельзя кстати привнесла в игру еще большее желание перепроходить её снова и снова.

Еще одна увлекательная механика игры - трансформация, она движет желанием поймать всех монстров и сделать легендарные печати трансформации. Особенно мне летающие нравятся, ведь с появлением небесного биома так удобно стало трансформироваться в Soulsucker и исследовать его в поисках островов и сокровищ.

В игре есть многое другое, разнообразные биомы, боссы, мобы, питомцы. Поймай в кристалл монстра и он станет твоим помощником в битве! И чем выше редкость монстра тем сильнее будет питомец. А это еще один стимул к поиску лучших характеристик для питомца. А хочешь прокатится на Brutor, да пожалуйста жми "R" и погнали! Правда плетётся он как черепаха XD пссс, а тираннозавр Rex сносит постройки, так что будьте аккуратны!

В общем в игре не соскучишься, ведь игра обновляется и в неё обязательно в будущем внесут что-то новое!

そこそこ遊んだので（2025/11/28時点で）よかったところから
ＰＶにも出ていましたが
歯車やスイッチ機構使った自動装置でいろんな仕組みを作れそう
モンスター捕獲し戦わせたり変身用にしたりでいろんなことができそう
魔法クラフトシステムで自分のオリジナル魔法が作成できる
などなどアプデ次第でいくらでもさらに楽しくできそうなものがありました

次に気になったところ
村人に与えられる仕事が少なすぎる　せめて収穫や餌やりくらいは欲しい
アイテムをしまう　小分けにする　一括収納など説明もなく統一性もなくオブジェクトにより違い酷い
歯車と歯車選択してつなぐとき選択しているものがハイライトも何もなくわかりにくい
壁紙（背景）に使うブロックにしているか普通にブロックとして設置しようとしているのかわかりにくい
モンスター捕獲関連や魔法作成ができるようになった段階では資材が足りな過ぎて何もできない
などなどＵＩ周りと資材キャップがとにかくストレス　
指定してる場所と選択中の物を見てわかる用には早急に直してほしいです

不満はいろいろありますがトータルでは楽しかったです
アプデでさらに洗練され化けるの期待してます

Você sabe quando você já jogou tudo o que Terraria tinha para jogar e você começa experimentar mods curiosos para se divertir? Planet Centauri parece exatamente isso. O jogo é uma cópia escancarada de Terraria que tenta incluir muitas coisas novas, mas não executa nem balanceia elas bem a ponto de serem divertidas e coerentes.

É uma pena, porque o jogo tem um potencial incrível, mas ele tenta abraçar muitas mecânicas ao mesmo tempo e acaba parecendo raso e repetitivo. O endgame é um grind insuportável que me desanimou, apesar de ver outros jogadores na internet que tiveram dedicação de fazer coisas incríveis -- eu não tive.

Deixo aqui minha resenha agridoce, porque não acho que o jogo mereça um review negativo. Mas também não acho que o Planet Centauri seja um jogo para todo mundo, apenas para aqueles muito apaixonados por Terraria e que procuram experiências diferentes.

Найкращий саундтрек для відпочнку, відкриваю гру тільки щоб послухати музику в меню. Гемплей також цікавий, особливо мені содобалось приборкувати і розводити монстрів з різними атрибутами. Може гра не настільки продумана, але вона бере музикою, спокійною атмосферою, розміреною грою.
З мінусів - незавезли УКРАЇНСЬКУ мову. А так норм гра. Рекомедую до ознайомлення.

Ignore the comments that are saying this game is abandoned, as someone who is in the discord I know for a fact the dev is still very much active in updating the game, it is not easy to get stuff done when you only have a handful of people to help, a lot of people forget easily that a lot of the indie titles have very small teams behind them and can only do so much with the little help they have.

This game has its fair share of bugs but most of them get sorted out asap, I still recommend giving this game a chance at the very least.
