Very poor performance. Graphics are garbled, text is basically unreadable. Runs at around 1 FPS (Frames Per Sometimes). Even using a higher-end machine to try to navigate to the settings to lower the resolution to 320x240 and [i]attempt[/i] to lower the graphics settings to their lowest, the game still performed this way.

Low-spec gamers should avoid this on-sight. This game is not worth the time or money.

CPU & GPU used to test:
- AMD A8-7410
- AMD Radeon R5 330
- 8 GB RAM

Tested on Kubuntu 25.10 with GE-Proton.

Oh, it's one of those flawed fun games. Now you can only play it solo, unless you have people who want to play this one.

Some mechanics are very wonky.

Most of the times you shoot dinosaurs and have no idea what is going on around you.

You choose a game mode and you shoot dinosaurs. So, so many dinosaurs. This is one of those games you needed to play back in 2013 with friends to really appriciate it. As you can imagine, this is now a single player game as nobody plays it anymore. The bots are... well... dumber then bricks but they do well enough to give you the illusion of teamwork. There are plenty of guns and they all look and feel great, I personally would have liked it if they pierced the enemy more cause shootings dinos one at a time is very painful. I like this game, it's pretty fun. Perhaps you and some buddies can pick it up and have some fun. If you care about your achievements on Steam at all don't play this as many require people to get, and since the game is basically dead you are going to struggle. But hey - I would prefer if the world had more dino horde shooters then hero shooters, cause dinosaurs are awsome.

Nope, the bots are stupid. The Gameplay is stupid, the openworld is okay and the art style is not good either. There are ZERO playing and the SP bot game only work for a huge map with 4 bots and openworld CoD Zombie like playstayle against dinos with unlocks which isnt fun at all.

The Price is low sure, but the fun is low to. if you have a cheap old pc then a maybe.

Наверное самый крутая игра с динозаврами. Много возможностей настройки лобби. Чем-то даже напоминает Крутого Сэма, когда там выкручиваешь всё на максимум и пытаешься так играть. Конечно это только после долгой прокачки персонажей. Тут их четыре вроде: медик, снайпер он же тень, инженер и просто солдат. Есть возможность покупки перка, который позволит пользоваться чужим оружием, есть оружие доступное всем.

Orion: Prelude é um daqueles jogos com boas ideias, mas execução mediana. Ele mistura FPS cooperativo com sobrevivência e hordas de dinossauros, entregando momentos divertidos. O conceito de enfrentar dinossauros gigantes enquanto protege o gerador de energia com amigos é interessante e até empolgante nas primeiras horas, especialmente pelo caos das batalhas. No entanto, o jogo sofre com repetição insana.
A jogabilidade é simples e direta: você escolhe uma classe, equipa armas e tenta resistir ao ataque constante dos dinos enquanto defende o gerador. Dá para dizer que ele pega uma mistura da armadura do Crysis para o jogador e coloca uma boa pitada de um jogo de horda que tem que defender um ponto, além de que existem veículos terrestres e voadores no estilo que um jogo genérico tem. É divertido no começo, especialmente em partidas cooperativas, mas logo se torna cansativo pela falta de variedade, basicamente defender um ponto e a cada 3 ondas ir atrás de recuperar uma base num mapa desnecessariamente grande e é só isso mesmo. Ainda assim, há algo satisfatório em enfrentar ondas cada vez maiores e ver o trabalho em equipe fazendo diferença.
Visualmente, Orion: Prelude mostra sua idade. Os gráficos são velhos, mas agradáveis e as animações são rígidas. As armas têm impacto, e os dinossauros, embora não muito detalhados, ainda impõem respeito. A trilha sonora é boa e ajuda a manter o ritmo durante a jogatina. Os controles são bem fluidos e leves de se jogar.
O multiplayer é o coração do jogo, existindo inúmeros modos de jogo tanto no coop e no versus, são bem variados os modos, mas com basicamente o mesmo principio. Sobreviver ondas ou derrotar os outros jogadores.
No geral, Orion: Prelude é um jogo mediano cheio de boas intenções, divertido em curtas doses. Um prazerzinho para quem curte ação simples, dinos e tiro frenético, sem se importar muito com polimento.

[b]Dificuldade das conquistas [3/10][/b]
Levei cerca de 257 horas para completar todas as conquistas. A lista é bem extensa, mas a maioria delas é cumulativa e baseada em grind, como eliminar grande quantidade de inimigos com cada arma, jogar certo número de partidas e realizar tarefas específicas com cada classe ou modo de jogo, das 257h eu basicamente joguei e me diverti por apenas 4h de jogo, depois disso foi farm atrás de farm nas outras 253h.
Existem conquistas relacionadas a níveis, armas e kills, o que torna a progressão demorada. As conquistas online são simples, existem pelo menos 29 para serem feitas com outros jogadores, mas recomendo fazer outras junto também, lembrando que são conquistas demoradas de serem feitas, então tenha um bom grupo que te acompanhe até o fim das conquistas. Todas as conquistas exigem paciência e repetição, e é comum ter que refazer partidas por bugs que impedem o registro correto do progresso da partida.
Apesar do grind, não há nada realmente difícil, apenas demorado. É o tipo de 100% que exige mais resistência do que habilidade. No fim, completar tudo é mais um teste de persistência do que de desafio real. Coloquei a dificuldade em 3 mas pode ser menos, é mais pela persistência mesmo.

Да сюда надо идти с друзьями, одному станет скучно быстро, но даже в этом случаи десяток интересных часов она вам даст. Чего еще желать за 30 рублей?
Бери друга и вперёд. Если кто хочет можете мне написать, я с радостью вспомню былые деньки и поиграю в неё с вами. , но с рерва вы её зацените. Попробуйте часик другой поиграть, посмотреть.
Потому что качать и играть меньше часов 6 за месяц в неё, не хочется качать) го если решили) вперед, там много режимов. Кооп, ПВП_пве виделм такое когда ни будь?), целая гора режимов в ПВП, можешь почувствовать себя джедаем 😎.

Карт мало( ну это на мой взгляд, карт 20 но с учетом сколько режимов это мало, некоторые карты используются сразу в разных режимах. Некоторые уникальны , но их и мало , например для выживания две карты всего, для ПВе_ПВП тоже 2 всего .
Игра может подарить море фана, но нужны друзья. 👯 Которые будут играть 🎴 с вами. Есть не доработки например дино 🦕 против людей. 👥 динозавры не сбалансированный под игру против людей. Но даже с этим пару тройку часов этот цан зайдёт, увы только с друзьями. Одному в ПВП режим не поиграешь, а это именно ПВП режим.

Несмотря на такую дешевизну и маленький размер клиента очень даже годный продукт с неплохим качеством графона! Очень динамичный шутан с кучей оружия, техники, технологий. Вы никогда не соскучитесь играя даже с одним другом, а если не с кем поиграть вы всегда можете вызвать ботов, которые довольно умело справляются с врагами, совсем не думая о собственной безопасности, рвутся в бой и выкашивают врагов.

This utter complete piece of crap is so awful, so horrid, so unforgivably terrible, that it somehow manages to come full circle and be quite fun. Serious jank? Check! Dinosaurs? Check! ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Dev? Check! Massive weapon roster? Check! Utterly Dead? Check! Good AI? ..... HELL NO, lets be honest, you picked it up for about $0.80, what did you expect dumbass? Its so awful!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!! Even on launch when it was Orion: Dino Beatdown, it was complete and utter glitchy garbage. As Orion: Dino Horde, it got better, still utter jank city, but far better, the devs even acknowledge how crap the original was (see the trailer). Finally, Orion: Prelude, the ♥♥♥♥ show of a game we have today. The third and final rebrand, still a mess, and we love it. Many might only remember this game as that one ♥♥♥♥♥♥ dino game that Achievment Hunter and Totalbiscuit played once back in the day, never to be seen again, but to the true vets of this game, who stuck though the massive glitches, jank, dead servers and horrendous grind. All I can say to you all is....... we are some truly mentally ♥♥♥♥♥♥ individuals to have stuck with this garbage for so long.

Here's to all you magnificent bastards who still play this, and here's to many more years of Orion: Prelude to come.
