On my own é um jogo de sobrevivência bem tranquilo, com biomas para explorar, coisas para construir para conseguir sobreviver, animais para caçar, etc. e uma trilha sonora muito incrível, porém, há muitos bugs: você fica preso em alguns lugares e não consegue sair (pelo menos isso aconteceu comigo), os morangos de alguns arbustos são infinitos, a sua energia não acaba mesmo que você tenha cortado muitas e muitas árvores. Além disso o jogo não tem atualizações a um bom tempo e parece que foi abandonado. O jogo tem tudo para ser muito bom, mas infelizmente apresenta muitas falhas

I first played this from the Google Play Store, loved it, saw it here on Steam and decided to pick it up. This game is the definition of easy to learn, difficult to master. It has a learning curve and you will probably starve to death a few times before you figure out what to prioritise at the beginning. The music is relaxing, the controls are simple and the story is straight forward. Crafting items can be a bit tricky to figure out for combinations but the things you can craft all serve a purpose in getting you to the summit. I like the game, hopefully you do too.

One of my favorite games to pick up and play when you have spare time. It's a fantastic solo-survival game that, while being short and casual, can also provide a bit of a challenge as you start to pick up on the game mechanics. I would highly recommend it to anyone that loves indie and survival style games. 9.5/10 - only takes around 1-2 hours to complete if you use a guide; would like to see another map/ further DLC added to the game.
I have not played the most recent update but the game was still decent a few years ago. It certainly had some rough edges and it felt more resource-intensive than one might think of this kind of game. Still with some new love shown, if the genre is enjoyable for you, this may be worth picking up.

Weird and annoying inventory management, and get old very fast. There are much better games than this. Go with Unreal world instead, or, alternatively MewBase.

the game started out really fun but i started to feel like i was mostly acquiring food and not quite advancing much, but i really want to get to the top of the mountain.

Love it however there are some things that kill the vibe.
I don't like how the consider it realistic. You can walk WAY more than the game allows before being tired. The stamina should be increased drastically and just increase the amount it takes to chop wood. I am all for limiting the amount of trees and distance but the stamina is just a joke I mean you literally are racing against time everyday you wake up to do anything. The game needs balanced it just leans towards short amount of time to do anything and unbalanced stats/deterioration.
This is a mobile/tablet (launched on Steam first for the quick zoomer pixel bucks) 2D retro pixel survival game with a "realism" theme where you survive in various wilderness biomes by performing various tasks like chopping wood, fishing, hunting, etc.
Why try to be realistic when you're using ugly retro pixel graphics? Yeah, they chose to use obsolete retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. Likewise, they weren't able to arrange decent level design, so they tried to use procgen as a substitute. Procgen isn't an acceptable substitute for putting content into a game.
There's plenty of potential for survival games, even realistic ones. Look how successful Minecraft, Ark, and Conan have been. But why would anyone set out to make the same kind of game, but with way worse graphics?
Once more we see greedy mobile devs trying to scam PC gamers. They want $11.50 for this free mobile game! Mobile devs must learn PC gamers are not here to be gouged, and can't be expected to pay a premium for a free mobile game just because they inflicted it on PC gamers first. If you really want to play this, play it free on mobile. Don't pay for free games just because they're on Steam.
It's just a perfect little game. It gives you feelings most of the survival games failed to give. It's short and not easy to learn but I see them as positives. It leaves you wanting more of this experience like Long Dark. I hope we get more games like these but longer.
Freaking hard at first but once you get the hang of it great game. Challenging and getting to the top of the mountain is really tough cause most the time the day ends before you get there and you have to start over.

Что может быть хуже бюджетных симуляторов выживания, наверное они же, но с приставкой инди. Сурвайвалы хороши только тогда, когда они понятны, в них много контента, разнообразные вариации геймплея и есть явная конечная цель. Если чего то одного не хватает из перечисленного вытянуть игру в условиях дичайшей конкуренции просто не получится. А On My Own ещё и порт с мобильных платформ. Стартует приключения с выбора пола главного героя и на этом интересные эксперименты заканчиваются. Потом начинаются шаблонные разжигания костров, сруб деревьев и сооружение ловушек. Меняются дни, времена года, есть 4 биома, но всё выглядит абсолютно одинаково, просто зелёная текстура меняется на белую или жёлтую. За время моего прохождения произошло всего два события - случился симулятор Ди Каприо, когда я отбивался от медведя и лавина из камней. 99% оставшегося времени приходилось просто осматривать оставленные ловушки и рубить деревья, чтобы искать перья для стрел. Последнее нужно потому что птиц в игре нет. На самом деле в On My Own есть дополнительная задача, помимо выживания, можно искать секретные буквы, винтовку и шлем для получения достижения и просмотра сна о предке. Но эти несколько секунд явно не стоят стольких мучений.
А вот тут максимально всё плохо и никакое инди не должно оправдывать настолько тухлую картинку в игре. Если уж используешь пиксельную графику, так сделай много разных уникальных объектов, не нужно никакие уровни рогалики если они так одинаково и скучно выглядят. О том, что ты сорвал вишню можно узнать исключительно из энциклопедии, белки получились величиной с зайца, а анимация их подъёма на дерева выглядит как телепортация. Не спасает положение музыкальное сопровождение, единственное более менее приятное, что можно услышать обычные звуки природы. А вот с багами у разработчиков вышло просто катастрофически - самый распространённый периодическое отключение геймпада, иногда проваливаешься в текстуру и спасает только рестарт, ну и ловля животных порой превращается в мистический карнавал, зайцы и лисы проникаются сквозь ловушки словно призраки. On My Own абсолютно сыра и не готова, имеющегося функционала хватает на 1 час геймплея. В разработке игра уже около 5 лет, а контента кот наплакал. Пожелаю Beach Interactive вернуться к учебникам, надеюсь там у них получается лучше, по девелопменту 2 без права пересдачи. Итоговая 4.5.

This game is fun, but it needs a longer stroy. Mabye add multiplayer and more bioms. On the bright side this game is really great if you want a nice relaxing game because its mostly non-stress till the bear comes. Also the music in the game is awesome.
Good idea of a game, nice pixel grafic, nice music... but the game feel incomplete, the energy you have is very low and so the time taht you have for doing stuff. the control are not good because your inventory occupy 50 percent of the monitor and every time you pass with the mouse over your character he open the inventory . he can be frustrating try to pick something and fail because is too close to you..

It's a simple game, very mellow and relaxing to be honest!
It's a little difficult to figure out clicking on things in the environment at first, but it gets pretty easy after the first few minutes. I highly recommend you take time to gather food/resources before making a journey to a new zone, otherwise your toast haha.
It's not a huge open world etc if you're looking for that, it's a nice size and all but you run out of energy as you go and then it goes to nightfall/sleep and you wake up the next day, so you're never going to go farther and farther past a certain point.
Crafting is pretty simple, it mainly is just drag and drop things. Set traps, craft bows/arrows and clothing etc. It does take time, and it's fun for sure, but don't expect to spend tons and tons of hours on this one.
However, considering it's less than 6 bucks, it's a great deal even at full price and will provide fun for you!
The soundtrack is really nice, it's a big plus for this game, and the ambient sounds are great. They did a super job on that part for sure.
I would give it a 6/10, and if they ever added more regions or craftables, or more content to the game then I would up that score accordingly!
The game feels incomplete, and the speed at which it progresses makes it difficult to have a relaxing experience. The time you get a day to do stuff is pretty short pretty much.
The way you interact with stuff is silly. You can drag stuff that isn't in your inventory to the crafting part, but you'll have troubles doing so if the inventory covers around 50% of the stuff in range, and then you have your character to content with.
It feels like the game was made for controllers, but from what I've read even that isn't amazing either. There is also a lack of content, You can just google the crafting guide and you'll find there's pretty much not a lot in the game, which doesn't help to the repetitive feeling.
It also appears the developer has finished making anymore changes to this game.

People say that you lose energy very fast and say that you are forced to find food all the time.
But isn't that what a true survival game is?
Trying to survive with your mind and knowlage of the envirements while trying to make new things.
Constantly keeping your fire lit and keeping your food supplie high.
Traveling to new lands to find rare and unusual animals to make better items.
Trying to stay alive in the toughest envirement and avoiding deadly predators.
Any way you can fix some of these by going to the wiki.
Either way this game is made to be hard so players can have a challenge.

This could be medicore one day, for now it's just bad. The game is buggy, UI is terrible, everything looks like everything else.
I played this while it was in Alpha or Beta and it was fairly buggy, but I have high hopes for this game. A lovely soundtrack lets you explore the wilderness and see how long you can survive on your own. You get to build things and use your intuition as to how to manage resources.
Small but intresting survival for those who want to see snow in summer.

[体力]
このゲームは体力が尽きたときに次の日へ強制的に移行する仕様で、何をするにも体力を使う。木を切ろうとするものならあっという間に疲労してしまうので、1日にできることは限られている。素材や食料の採集で1日が終わってしまうが、幸いにして食料の腐敗という要素はないので物資備蓄は時間をかければ増えていく。
また、次の日の体調は前日の状態に影響される。前日に空腹や遠出した状態で次の日を迎えると、体力があまり回復せずにそのまま寝込むことがある。次の日に何か大仕事させたいのなら食事して早めに休ませるのが良い。

このゲームで唯一の死が餓死だ。餓死した場合には問答無用でセーブデータが消されてしまう。熊に襲われても、所持品の破損や3日程度の最大体力低下ペナルティがあるだけで死んだりはしない。逆を言えば、食料さえ大量に確保できれば死ぬことはない。注意しなければならないのは、バイオームの移動のときで十分に体力や食料がないと移動の途中で死んでしまう。

昼夜の変化はないが、季節の変化はあり春2日、夏4日、秋2日、冬4日のサイクルを繰り返す。当然だが、季節によって採取できるものとできないものがある。

湖に沈んでいるヘルメットを釣り上げ、ヘルメットを所持して寝ると夢のシーンが始まり、夢に登場するキャラがアンロックされる。このキャラは初期装備としてライフルと弾30発を持っている。
価格相応のカジュアルなつくりのサバイバルゲームだが、ゾンビやモンスターなどが登場しない素朴な雰囲気は良い。餓死が即セーブデータ消去という厳しいところはあるものの、慣れれば季節の変化を楽しみながらのんびりと遊ぶことができる。殺伐としていないサバイバルゲームをやりたいのならオススメだ。

I am a huge fan of survival, crafting, sandbox games and such. I bought it just after christmas cause it looked like it could be a calmer sort of survival. It was calm, and had nice music. But inventory menu was irritating, learning the basics of the game (which i ususally pick up on very quickly) was frusterating. After playing it for a short time i requested a refund (luckily i got it). Waste of time and waste of money.

Very peaceful and realaxing, yet somewhat challenging at the same time
This is like Don't Starve or Minecraft but the one that is closest to it is Don't Starve. You're basically a camper starting out near a log cabin, trying to live with nature. However, you build everything in a similar manner to Don't Starve. You have an axe, you cut trees to get wood and sticks. You use rocks and sticks to make traps. The formula is very similar.
I would consider this a slower-paced Don't Starve without the stressful need to avoid dying.
I don't really enjoy it that much due to the similarity.

Fun game. Nice soundtrack and nature sounds while playing. However, I would like to see more storage space. It seems that some items can be placed on the ground and don't disappear such as logs, sticks, feathers, rope, and the pelts, but more storage would still be nice. I could not eat a medium sized food while down 3-4 hunger, but I could eat the large sized meal. That didn't seem intuitive. I couldn't eat the food that I had with me when I was down to half hunger, and then died the next day immediately after waking up. I had lots of food stored, food in my inventory, but was not given a chance to eat. The message was that I died because I didn't have enough supplies, but I did have supplies. I didn't get the warning that I was too far away from my cabin until I had woken up and immediately died. I don't like how the saves disappear. I would have liked to be able to pick up where I last saved before dying, after a combined 5-6 hours of playing. It's fun but frustrating in many aspects.
Won't even load up properly for me. Contacted support no response in about a month now.

Alrigth, On My Own is an awesome survival game. The fact that there is no zombies, nothing that want to kill you and the one and the only enemy is yourself, your body needs. Resources are rare which makes the game hard and true realistic survival experience, and even the smallest decisions can makes a real big different. Decisions like chopping down trees to get enough wood to keep yourself warm during the night or looking for food resources or other crafthing needs like a jacket that keeps your body warm during the day in the winter season, those decisions are the hardest to make, which makes the game more challenging. However no matter how much you go foward into the game the basic challanges will be always there like food and energy. In my opinion, it was an epic experience and an awesome 16 hours, it's not about the 2D graphics, it's about the great gameplay which some think it's buggy but i played the game and it's working very well for me.
But the real question, do think you can make it on your own ?
Gather around children, for I will tell you a story. You kids these days are always on your gizmos and gajigmas and your toyotas but listen well for this is an epic for the ages. It was 1945 and I had just landed on the beaches of Normandy in Toronto Armenia, the days were cold and the only friend I had that survived D Day was my trusty friend Rob Ford and then he died. After that I was left to wander the frozen wastes of South Africa until I fell through the core of the world and ended up in Montana of the U.S. where I battled bears for their hide which I would later find out from a friend named "The Wiki" (it's Native American) that I could make it into a coat. I later slaughtered Wiki and his family in the great "Triangle Waist Fire of 1772" and took their sheep named Wooly as my prize, after flaying Wooly alive I discovered that I could make a rough bag from his liver and intestinal tract, I was no longer just surviving, I was Living. My name is ♥♥♥♥ You You Self Righteous Prick (It's Scottish) and this is Teddy Roosevelts story about Muhammad Ali that was told to him by Ghandi who was using mdma.
You move around at 1 mph, meaning traveling anywhere sucks. You run out of resources like energy and need to sleep after chopping 2-3 trees, which is course true to real life because most people need to sleep for the night after 1 hour of work......Was supposed to trap a rabbit, made the trap, set it down, and nothing happened. Very few animals came by it, but even the rabbits that did just walked around by it but never came up. That's a metaphor for how this is as a game. Play this game if you really like boring, poorly designed, poorly explained games.

On My Own is a very short game, but what it does it does exceptionally well.

I wanted to really enjoy this game. The atmosphere, art style and music all make for for a very engaging experience. There is a storyline and I can tell that it probably grows with you as you progress. My only issue is that the controls were not very intuitive and it does seem like a game that could be [i] too [/i] easy. I didn't play enough of this title to judge it very harshly but that's my two cents. Purchase at your own risk of not enjoying it/wasting money. Maybe grab it during a sale? IDK. You choose.
This is a really neat game. 2D wilderness survival. It's very compelling. Unfortunatly it's also very buggy. Controller support is broken, the interface is counter intuitive and gets in the way of itself all the time. This plays like a really intresting but very unfinished alpha game. If they can get the controls + interface sorted out it has a lot of potential. Until then, give it a pass because it will just make you frustrated.

И это не шутка: я запустила Fallout 4 и проверила, не подводит ли меня память или не снизились ли охлаждающие свойства моей системы. Нет, данное пиксельное величество действительно претендует на больше вычислительных ресурсов, чем главное прошлогоднее ААА.
Кадры игры выглядят замечательно, но невозможно наслаждаться этим под вой турбин.

Tą grę cholernie ciężko zrecenzować jednoznacznie, lecz w końcu zdecydowałem się na minus. Czemu? Zacznę od początku:
Gra ma paskudne, wkurzające sterowanie. Używanie przedmiotów, przenoszenie, wyjmowanie z ekwipunku, PODNOSZENIE... wszystko potrafi i zazwyczaj jest niesamowicie irytujące.
Następnym minusem jest prostota gry. W grze jedzenie nie stanowi problemu, możliwości craftu jest tyle, co kot napłakał, można się było do tego o wiele lepiej i kreatywniej przyłożyć. Do tego zapewnia około 5h rozrywki, może mniej.
To taka gorsza wersja Don't Starve z brakiem jakiegoś konkretnego celu. Gdyby nie osiągnięcia... w sumie nie byłoby co robić. To one jakoś trzymają w grze.
I tu mogę zacząć to, co mi się podobało, a więc właśnie, dające szczątkowy sens grania, osiągnięcia. Chęć zabicia cholernego niedźwiedzia i stania się królem tundry.
Prostota tej gry i taki spokojny odmóżdżający klimacik połączony z niezobowiązującą klikanką. Czasami fajnie się tym odstresować.
Na plus zasługuje też grafika i te maleńkie fragmenty muzyki.
Względnie tyle. Recenzja krótka jak ta gra.

Music 2/10 - it gets unbelievably repeative hearing the same loop.
Guidance 3/10 - It doesn't hold your hand. It pushes you from behind and laughs. then ignores you forever.
Saves 0/10 - Manual saves are overwritten by autosaves making M. Saves pointless.
Overall 2/10 - I'd return it if I bought it specifically. but it came in a bundle. I'll check back in a month and edit this review if things improve. [b]Right now? DO NOT BUY.[/b]

Impossbly hard learning curve with no tutorial. The GUI is not intuitive. It took 2 hours and 5 new games before I could figure out the basics. This game is about wilderness survival and I couldn't even figure out how to eat cooked meat! I kept dying of starvation. "Drag the cooked meat into an area that is 10 pixels by 10pixels over your characters face while in inventory? Great thanks for not telling me that Ever!
You can't even pickup items nearby your person because if you click near your person it opens up your inventory. Just make inventory triggered by the E key like any other game! If this game was 100% mouse based I'd understand but you move using WASD only. My hand is already on the keyboard but I can't pickup items off the ground at my feet. I have to walk 5 feet away then click on them. even then, sometimes it tries to get me to drag it into my inventory manually... I can't just click on everything on the ground?
The game deletes your saves! Not only that but you cannot name your save files, you cannot choose a save slot. It doesn't tell you what day you are on. you only have a TINY screenshot to work with. Because this game is pixel art based it's Easy to not be able to tell which save is the right one. Ontop of all that. You can manually save but the game AUTOSAVES randomly. So I saved at the beginning of the day. Spent all day looking for a fox, exited, loaded my save, and it put me back exactly where I was at the end of the day. It autosaves over your manual saves! Just have one or the other. don't give me an illusion of choice!
the RNG nature of this game is insane. You must get lucky random number generations or you are screwed. there is no skill. No skill points even. No character classes. No multiplayer. No fun.
This game FEELS PRE-ALPHA Early Access but claims to be released. Bugs everywhere!
神他妈惊了，造了不需要bait的snare，从游戏开始就放了10来个在地图上，到死大概过了17、8天，一个都没捉到东西，这概率...6个需要bait的放在地图上只捉到一只兔子，呵呵，活活被饿死。
BGm还行，画面我也喜欢，但是操作优化太差，接近草丛点摘果实老是点开物品栏，bug还不少，反正不推荐玩
Out of all survival games I played, this one is probably my most favorite. So this game has great graphics done with pixel art has a really good atomosphere, enviorment, and sounds. This game is very relaxing (except when theres a [spoiler] bear attack these are easy to survive just when u see the bear run the opposite direction or shoot it with rifle IF you have one.) [/spoiler] great fishing system (little buggy though) and my most favorite part the hunting. Hunting can be done with a rifle or bow (yes there is a gun .-. calm down now but its extremely hard to obtain so good luck :P) theres traps also! If you want a nice relaxing game I highly recommend this game even though its still buggy (not that buggy really just few bugs that can easily be fixed) so I hope you get this game and enjoy it!
The minor story is good enough.
The current selection of quotes don't add to the experience, imo.
The intro music reminded me of "Senya" from Naruto Shippuden.
Good harvesting, crafting, and trapping.
Forage bushes for berries to eat or to bait traps with (raw meat can also work). Cook meat near a fire. Use stones and obsidian to make heads. Fell trees with axe for logs to fuel fire and sticks and feathers for traps, arrows, bows, fire starter, and axe handle. Gather grass fibers for threads to combine with pelts for clothing and blankets or make rope for bows or fishing.
Other mechanics make it realistically challenging.
The character needs to eat meat, as berries alone will not sustain him, and they can not be harvested in the cold seasons.
My first winter was spent without a coat or hat, so I had to return to the fire often, and that limited what I could accomplish.
Things I don't like:
I encountered a bug where after the character loaded into the first day of Autumn he was left of the center of the screen - under the inventory menu overlay, and that made it impossible to eat.
Tips:
The bundle bow should only be made as a last resort. It's ineffective, short lived, and heavily resource draining.
i love this game personely ,it's like a hand on your sholder and a soft voice thats saying don't worry it all be fine.
and somethimes thats just nice thing to hear.
the only things i dislike about this game is thats its got a very limeted feeling, and that's why i am a little sad about.
and the second thing i rather see is a story mode wich explains the crafteble's beacuse now i have to look up wiki allot.
but i think it is a fun/cheap game ! and for the buyers of this game wise choise! ;)

This self declared 'Woodland Survival Adventure' has a very relaxing and almost zen like feel to the slow inevitable march towards starvation and death.
The visual and audio style are simply not enough to carry this wafer thin game long enough to keep player engaged to discover all the mystery notes or tough it out for more than a few days.

Basicamente, você fará o que o personagem do filme "Into The Wild" fez.
Você começa escolhendo o seu personagem principal. E não há muito o que escolher, na verdade. Não há criação ou edição de personagem. Ou você escolhe ou o homem ou a mulher, mas tudo bem, nada demais, até porque o estilo do jogo não necessita de nada mais detalhado.
De cara você já é apresentado à atmosfera do jogo, com lindos gráficos pixelados, uma animação do seu personagem calmamente andando em direção a uma cabana na floresta, e uma linda música folk no plano de fundo.
Você já começa com o seu personagem mais ou menos equipado, e com um ambiente ao seu redor que te introduzirá, juntamente com dicas do jogo, ao crafting. Você será conduzido a criar uma fogueira, uma armadilha para coelho, armadilha para alces, dentre outros.
Você percerá rápido que o universo é praticamente todo interagível. As pedras você pode pegar, você pode catar frutas nas plantas, derrubar árvores para conseguir lenha e pedaços de madeira, etc.
No começo, apenas fome será o seu problema. Mas conforme as estações passam e o jogo avança, você terá que lidar com frio e animais selvagens. Você também terá, claro, a opção de craftar armas como arco-e-flecha para lidar com esses predadores, que contam com ursos e raposas. Terá outras opções para conseguir comida além de matar animais e colher plantas, você também poderá pescar.
Basicamente, é esse o jogo. O objetivo é viajar, por meio de fast travel, até outros pontos da floresta, com o objetivo de chegar ao topo da montanha.
O jogo é maravilhoso e funciona muito bem. Os gráficos são lindos, a trilha é linda, o sistema de crafting é bom. No geral, é um jogo relaxante. Ele não tem tanta diversidade de animais, armas, itens para cratar, ou até mesmo opções de comida, o que é uma pena devido ao seu potencial. Mas ele é o que é. Se você estiver procurando por um survival relaxante, uma experiência, este é o seu jogo. Se estiver procurando algo mais aprofundado, talvez não seja pra você.

O jogo está engraçado para o estilo indie, musica agradavel e tudo mais mas para jogo de sobrevivência não me satisfaz pois é muito limitado.Talvez seja mais para miúdos pequenos mas precisam de ajustar a dificuldade (que é o maior problema). I wish the game would let me know that I should have some food prepared between biomes, before telling me I starved to death on my way to said biome and then deleting my save file of 3 hours. I also got really focused on finding foxes and forgot to eat. I had plenty of food, but then I "starved to death" and another save file of 5 hours was deleted. I understand it's trying to be realistic, you should think of this intuitively, you should figure it out, etc. but forcing a complete restart after hours of tedious gathering and crafting just feels like a slap in the face.
Also, the UI is clunky and annoying. So many times I frantically tried to forage an item, only to shoot an arrow or chop a tree or lay a trap. And I'm not sure if this was intended or not bug if you put obsidian on the ground, it disappears. You'd have a tool tip telling you what an item was, but you'd end up grabbing another item nearby. It's annoying to use the last of your energy harvesting something only to be teleported back to your cabin without having had a chance to grab the item. I have some other complaints, but I just don't remember them all.
Edit: And now the game froze and deleted (unpurposefully, I believe this time) my latest attempt of 3 hours. I usually attempt to complete everything in a game no matter how mediocre, but I think that's all for me today...
