Been addicted to 'No, I'm not a Human' ever since demo release! Unlocked all the endings so far available and I'm loving the games' unsettling atmosphere. The well-thought storyline, beautiful soundtrack and its unique, uncanny artwork and character design makes for an amazing indie psychological horror game. I like that your decisions matter by identifying visitors.

First few hours in game, I felt anxiety because you don't know who to trust, or when the Pale Visitor comes for you. The feeling of dread when looking outside of your windows... It's sadly not a long game and could be a bit repetitive after a few runs, especially when going for certain achievements. Looking forward to future updates from the devs!

Quasi „ein kalter Schauer, der einem über den Rücken läuft“ in Form eines Spiels. [/b]

[h2]Der Horror [/h2]

„No, I'm not a human“ erzeugt ab der ersten Sekunde Gänsehaut und schafft eine einmalig gruselige Atmosphäre ohne dabei in „eine billige Trickkiste“ greifen zu müssen.

Vieles davon ist dem visuellen Stil zu verdanken, der einfach on point ist: Zwischen der realistischen Optik der 3D-Umgebung bewegen sich stilisierte Charaktere in einem Uncanny Valley - „irgendetwas stimmt einfach nicht“ - dieses Gefühl hat man beim Spielen permanent und bei einem Horror-Game ist das auf die beste Art und Weise gemeint. Alles wirkt irgendwie ein wenig falsch, etwas verdreht, etwas unangenehm, etwas grauslich. Dabei geht das Spiel durchaus in Richtung Body-Horror und hat mich persönlich an Filme von David Lynch oder „The Thing“ erinnert.

Aber auch jenseits der Grafik verstehen die Spielentwickler was von Horror. Die grundlegende Spielidee – jemand in deinem Haus könnte einer von „denen“ sein – ist zwar nichts neues (womit wir wieder bei „The Thing“ wären) aber ein Evergreen, der super effektiv ist, wenn er gut bedient wird. Und das schafft das Spiel definitiv. Die Klaustrophobie, die Paranoia, das Misstrauen... all dies setzt einen unter Stress und Spannung, selbst wenn rein spielmechanisch keinerlei Zeit- oder Reaktionsdruck existiert. Dabei setzen die Entwickler ihre eher eingeschränkten technischen Mittel perfekt ein, sodass diese sogar eher zum Vorteil als Nachteil werden. Die Soundeffekte und der hervorragende Score erledigen dann den Rest – für mich persönlich eine großartige Horror-Erfahung.

[h2]Spielmechaniken & Technisches [/h2]

Sowohl das Gameplay als auch die technischen Möglichkeiten sind eher simpel gehalten, tun dem Unterhaltungswert jedoch keinen Abbruch – und ganz ehrlich, was will man mehr?

Ein großer Teil der Gameloop, die Rogue-like Elemente enthält und zum wieder-spielen motiviert, besteht darin in einem Tag/Nacht-Rhythmus nachts neue Gäste in sein Haus aufzunehmen und tagsüber den entsprechenden Gästen auf den Zahn zu fühlen. Wann wir Tag/Nacht beenden ist uns dabei selbst überlassen – es gibt keinen Timer im Spiel, der künstlichen Stress erzeugt, stattdessen müssen wir uns unsere „Energie“ als Ressource einteilen.

In den ersten Gameloops ist die Motivation des Spiels dabei das blanke Überleben, allerdings bietet das Spiel eine Vielzahl verschiedener Enden und eine unfassbar große Anzahl an möglichen Gästen, sodass das Spiel auch motivierend bleibt nachdem man ein paar Durchläufe hinter sich hat und der Horror ein wenig verflogen ist. Das Spiel betreibt dabei kein „Gatekeeping“ was seine Enden betrifft: auch wenn manche schwieriger zu Erreichen sind als andere und eine spezielle Strategie oder Glück erfordern (durch die Rogue-like Elemente ist nicht jedes Ende in jedem Run möglich) sind die Herausforderungen stets fair und brauchen keine absurde Menge an Zeit und Aufwand. Speicherstände sind dabei ebenfalls eine Ressource, die ausgegeben werden kann und erleichtern das herumexperimentieren ohne noch einmal einen kompletten Run zu starten – meiner Meinung nach sehr sympathisch!

Wie bereits erwähnt finde ich sogar, dass die technischen Einschränkungen den Horror unterstützen. In einer typischen Gameloop verbringt man z.B. das gesamte Spiel innerhalb seines überschaubar kleinen Hauses, nur durch seine Fenster kann man einen Blick auf die Außenwelt erhaschen – und was sich da draußen abspielt ist der reinste Horror. Nur passiv zusehen zu können und der Fantasie überlassen zu müssen was ansonsten da draußen noch so vor sich geht, ist in meinen Augen weitaus gruseliger als alles, was ich erfahren könnte, wenn ich das Haus tatsächlich verlassen könnte um nachzusehen.

[h2]Story & Charaktere [/h2]

Hier hat „No, I'm not a human“ eine seiner großen Stärken. Auch wenn unsere Welt spielerisch gesehen klein ist und sich auf das Haus beschränkt, ist sie Story-technisch groß: durch TV, Radio und Austausch mit unseren Hausgästen erschließt sich uns langsam das globale Ausmaß der Ereignisse.

Die Lore wird dabei Häppchenweise aufgedeckt und kann über mehrere Spieldurchgänge zusammengepuzzelt werden, ohne dass dafür extrem versteckte Hinweise, „True Endings“ oder gar Easter-Egg-anmutende Inhalte gefunden werden müssen – etwas, das für das Horror-Genre leider üblich geworden ist.

Das Story-zusammenpuzzlen ist trotzdem eine spannende Aufgabe, weil viele Informationsquellen nicht unbedingt zuverlässig sind. Kann man der Regierung wirklich trauen? Erzählt dieser Gast die ganze Wahrheit?

Gerade die Gäste sind dabei sehr interessant. Zwar werden allesamt ziemlich karikaturartig dargestellt, schaffen es dafür aber in nur kurzer Zeit und mit relativ wenig Dialog (und ohne Vertonung) einen bleibenden Eindruck zu hinterlassen und bringen mich dazu, mich wirklich um ihr Schicksal zu kümmern. Laut meinen persönlichen Notizen (die man während dem Spiel definitiv nehmen sollte!) bin ich bisher 53 verschiedenen Gästen begegnet und ich kann mich an jeden einzelnen (und ihre persönliche Story) ausgesprochen gut erinnern - das schaffen nicht viele Spiele. Ich habe mir sogar schon überlegt, meine Notizen für zukünftige Dungeons&Dragons Spiele zu verwenden, um schnell aus dem Stehgreif NPCs charakterisieren zu können – also hier macht das Spiel wirklich einen guten Job.

[b]Fazit: Ein Grusel-Horror-Game, das sich nicht am ausgelutschten Gameplay anderer Titel des Genres bedient und etwas ganz eigenes macht – und das sehr gut. Ich kann das Spiel grundsätzlich jedem Horror-Fan empfehlen und vor allem denjenigen, die mit Jumpscares und Verfolgungsjagden übersättigt sind und stattdessen mal ein bisschen mehr lesen und sich einfach richtig schön gruseln wollen. [/b]

I genuinley dont think ive loved a horror game as much as this one, everything about this game is just incredible from the endings, soundtrack, characters, lore, acheivments, the impending doom you feel as you play because u can feel it coming to the last day, i always look forward to finding out different things from the game when i play, i have gone through so many runs in this game and i cant get sick of it im so excited for the next update to come out and thats another thing i genuinley adore about this game is that its being constantly updated and adding things like new characters to talk to and more endings, it makes it so enjoyable and it keeps the player wanting more, id 100% reccomend this game to anyone who likes games with a cool indie artstyle and a apocolyptic vibe, i recentley got my cousin into it too and it feels so nice to have someone else to talk about it with, this has GOT to be one of my fav games of all time 11/10 game and i cant wait to see what it brings next <33

Hra spočívá v tom, že existuje jen hrstka postav, které jsou lidmi a skinwalkery. To je skvělé, protože nelze na první dobrou zjistit, kdo je kdo, a tuto informaci si přenést do dalšího postupu. Mohu ale vytknout, že dialogy u dveří jsou statický, bez ohledu na to, zda se jedná o návštěvníka nebo člověka. To činí rozhodování na základě dialogu zcela irelevantním a zbavuje hráče možnosti volby.

Ну такое, вариативности никакой, игра короткая, диалоги со всеми гостями одинаковые всегда.
Определение гость/человек в 95% случаев чистый рандом и как-то адекватно проявить свои аналитические способности не получится. После первого прохождения(игра проходится часа за 3) это просто повторение одних и тех же диалогов и событий, разве что нарандомит других гостей. Глубины сюжета тоже нет, его тут на лист а4 не хватит, а диалоги со многими гостями прописаны на основе мемов и достаточно тупые и неинтересные.
Ах да еще и баги, я так понимаю игра хорошо продалась, но баги разрабы решили не фиксить, ну а чо, игра не запускается при первом запуске и виснет если подключен геймпад? Ну не зачем такое фиксить. Баги юая? Ребят, игра простая как лопата, не знаю кто там чо кодил, но за такое время в соло можно было все фиксануть, стыдно.

Плюсы есть - клевая атмосфера и необычная стилистически рисовка, если вы про это, купить стоит. Остальным - мимо, потому что игры то особо тут и нет, даже на визуальную новеллу не тянет. Разве что можно назвать геймплеем попытку выбить определенное событие, мотая десятки других однотипных событий, которые уже видел с десяток раз.

Terminei ele há um bom tempo, então eu não me lembro de exatamente tudo que acontece.
No Im Not a Human é um jogo de terror MUITO criativo, com vários finais diferentes baseados nas pessoas que você decidiu confiar ao longo dos dias. Acredito que é um dos jogos com um dos melhores estilos de gameplay que eu já joguei, por mais que seja simples.
Não tenho tanto para dizer, só acho que, apesar de ee ser um jogo bem simplis, houve algumas partes que eu realmente me sentia com medo o que eu percebia que eu não tinha jogado meu dinheiro fora comprando esse jogo.

Основываюсь на сюжете до последней обновы!!!

И-так, сюжет напомнил мне одну игру, названия которого я забыл. Игра прописана с приемлемым сюжетом, ибо повествования и сам рассказ о текущем положение по всему миру описывается при коммуникации с NPC, прослушивания радио, просмотра телевизора и подглядывание из окна. Так я узнал, что на Земле произошло глобальное событие, которое уничтожит, или уже уничтожило 60-80% всего живого (учитывая растения и саму природу), гос-во борется с неизвестной новой расой гуманоидов, именуемые как "гости" и тд.. Начало событий толком не поясняется по какой причине, но думаю и не должно, хотя хотелось бы (либо я просто не обнаружил).

Игра выступает в жанре визуальной новеллы, касающейся психологического хоррора (психологический хоррор и хоррор два разных жанра и термина в общем). Описывать саму игру не буду, ибо выше уже описал, да и спойлеров особо не хочу давать новым игрокам, которые изначально будут смотреть отзывы, но сама игра мне понравилась самой атмосферой, графикой которая рисовалась в ручную, да и 3д тоже (кроме тощего гостя).

Томить не буду, моя оценка - 8

No Im not a Human - это когда просыпаешься от того, что тебе стучат в дверь. Ты подходишь к двери, смотришь в глазок и видишь там Уолтера Уайта, который говорит: Я тот, кто стучит в дверь. Игра довольно прикольная по механике, но без баланса вселенной. как говорил Танос: Смотри, красивый, правда, чуть перевеса туда или сюда. Но в этой игре баланс только в том, что можно пить пиво и курить сигареты.

Proves that games don't have to be complicated, or over the top technical marvel, but they have to be entertaining, hook you for hours, make you forget everything else.

The game is weird
The music is amazing, perfectly patching it with it's horror/melancholy
It has to be experienced first hand, forget guides and everything.

I bought this game not knowing what I was going to get. The reviews were good, but I wasn't sure. It was GOOD. I enjoy games with a mind twist, that has replay ability. What a mind twist. It's dark, it's entertaining and it makes you think about your choices. It has a way of messing with you. If this was really going on who would I let in? It takes you to a place to where you have to think, "Is this me? Would I do this?" Then when you think you have made all the right decisions, you wake up to the smell of blood and someone you spent the entire game on has been killed. But then the question is who did it? This is a memory game as well. Take notes of faces, of answers, who was in what room before you fell asleep. I want to be clear this is not an action game, it's kind of a sleuth game with choices mixed with strategy. I thought I was home free after 2.5 hours of playing and I ended up getting played in the end. Bravo.

Скачивая эту игру я и подумать не мог, насколько она меня зацепит и понравится. в этой игре прекрасно ВСЁ - необычный визуал, который вы нигде больше не встретите, бесподобная музыка, которая настолько хороша, что на неё в своё время можно было наткнуться на каждом шагу. да и сама идея, вроде банальна, но от того гениальная... я даже не знаю какой минус можно выделить, всё ДЕЙСТВИТЕЛЬНО великолепно, русские разрабы не перестают радовать уже который год.

в общем, игра 12/10, рекомендую каждому.

Este juego es mi favorito desde que lo vi por primera vez en internet, tiene una historia bastante interesante y bien escrita aunque nos deja varias incognitas a nuestra imaginacion. El juego tiene una estetica bastante unica y distintiva a muchos otros juegos de terror, cada personaje tiene un diseño e historia diferente, esto añade mas trama a la historia, pues muchas de estas historias que nos comparten los huespedes realmente transmiten emocion y algun sentimiento, puedes sentir pena y tristeza por muchos personajes facilmente. Los finales son una obra de arte cada uno, desde la musica o su arte visual, cada final es muy diferentes y algunos son peculiares, la ambientacion y narracion transmiten emocion. La musica de este juego tambien es una obra de arte, cada pieza que escuchamos en el juego tiene alma y transmiten muy bien su mensaje, desde la increible cancion de la introduccion hasta las piezas que acompañan los finales son muy diferentes a las canciones juegos de terror habituales, transmiten nostalgia, melancolia y suelen atrapar con su melodia. No Im Not A Human es un juego que recomendaria ampliamente a todas las personas pues es una experiencia unica aunque el juego es algo corto, es un juego con alma.

Редко пишу прям обзоры и отзывы к играм, но тут следовало сделать подобное уже давно, ибо игра вышла очень хорошей. Лично для меня- одна из эталонных инди игр, а "одна из" потому что инди сложно оценивать одними и теми же инструментами, которые мы привыкли использовать, глядя на различные ААА игры.

Коргеймплей прост для неприличия- перед вами некарточная мафия, главная задача которой понять- перед вами "донт щют, ам френдли" или один из комрадов Бледного гостя, который регулярно раз в несколько ночей приходит постращать нас и позадвинуть размышлизмами.

Чем же игра хороша? Первое, что наверняка отметили многие игроки до меня- музыка и атмосфера. Саунд идеально попадает в окружающую игровую действительность- добавляет уюта нашему убежищу, накидывает летней духоты или окутывает звуками опасений и страхов по ночам.
Вообще всем кто любит эстетику постсовета и, этакой панковщины нулевых, обязательно стыбрят композиции в плеер.

Атмосфера, выбранный графический стиль и конечно же, Гости- каждый со своими историями выше всех похвал.
Кого-то первое впечатление от игры может отвадить, но на самом деле она отлично отрисовывает мир игры, как кривое зеркало нашей реальности. Косые дверные косяки, приглушенные цвета, нарочито криповые люди- прям квинтэссенция старых видео, писанных на камеры, уже упомянутых нулевых.
Каждый приходящий в дом имеет свою прописанную историю, иной раз даже зная что перед вами Гость хочется оставить его до следующего дня, просто что бы узнать, что же он расскажет дальше (скриптованная бабка- ты зло, и заруинила мне пару прохождений, потому что я в наивности своей даже не мог представить что она Гость, даже ещё и постоянный! Ну и признаки на неё непросто выловить)

Буквально, потому что больше локаций нет. Но небольшие активности- спасибо коту, радиоприемнику, холодильнику и прочему помогают создать пространство, которое чувствуешь своим, где ты в безопасности от безумного мира и наполненное воспоминаниями главного героя, пусть и явно не счастливыми.
Не думаю, что мой обзор попадется на глаза разрабам, но всё же попытка не пытка- добавьте ещё таких штук. Или может даже какие то активности с картой, как было в Static Dread, эту игру вы явно знаете лучше меня, передаю привет через Бледного и рыбного Джорджи в желтом дождевике. Понятное дело что это всё требует проработки и уместности, но тут уж не мне советовать, я как вредный гэймер просто трансилирую хАтелку. Или, если отбросить идею с картой- телевизор. Мне кажется его можно реализовать как-то поболее, и снова- то что есть вышло, уже получилось хорошо.

Подытожив- игра интересна и самобытна. Иногда возвращаюсь, дабы пощупать, каких гостей ещё не знаю, чьи истории не дослушал до конца. Люблю концовку с выживанием глав гг в подвале. Музыканту и идейному вдохновителю, а так же человеку, который свел всё в одну игру- моё большое уважение. Жду ваших новых игр, с удовольствием приобрету снова)

На время в игре не смотрите- изначально встретился с ней на "зеленом" стиме, но настолько преисполнился, что приобрел и проходил пару раз уже с аккаунта На самом деле в игре проведено вдвое, если не втрое больше времени)

At first, the game is overall enjoyable and has a very interesting concept. I really liked the variety of characters, and the first playthrough was exciting and engaging. It made me want to keep playing and try out different endings. The overall vibe of the game is great, the gloomy color palette fits perfectly, and the mix of visual styles works really well.

However, after finishing the game two or three times, the repetition starts to become very noticeable. The game begins to feel like it follows a fixed scenario, and the sense of surprise fades away. Some characters also feel like they don’t have a real impact on the story or the events.

As for suggestions, I think the game would benefit from stronger connections between characters. For example, certain characters could have unique interactions or conflicts when they are in the house together. It would also be interesting if some characters were looking for others, and handing them over could become part of the story progression.

Additionally, I feel like the man in pants (the visitor who asks if you’re alone) could have been used much more effectively, considering how important he seems. I expected more interaction from him rather than just showing up at the door and leaving.

Finally, phone calls could have a much stronger impact on the gameplay. Instead of being short conversations that end quickly, they could lead to meaningful events or changes in the game.

Um jogo sobre a vida e a morte, e como cada um lida com a ideia delas após o mundo praticamente ruir.

É um jogo super rápido que tem 11 finais diferentes. A história é bem aberta e deixa bastante a interpretação do jogador.

Como terror, eu não tive medo algum no jogo, mas admito que isso não me deixou entediado, muito pelo contrário, praticamente todos os personagens apresentados, as mecânicas de rejogabilidade e a história me cativaram bastante e me fizeram rejogar ele algumas vezes!

Se você gosta de suspense, um jogo bem simples de jogar e montar a história por si só, esse jogo é pra você!

I'm a little bit obsessed with this game. I love the atmosphere and the premise, and the art style is really unique and interesting. It is primarily a point-and-click game, but there is enough randomness to keep the suspense of the game and its characters engaging on multiple very short playthroughs. I played it in English and Japanese, and both language versions are great.

What really drew me into this game initially was its soundtrack though. I love, love, love the soundtrack. The main theme song of the game, "Just Asking," which is the song that plays on the first couple of days/nights and is interpolated in the intro/main menu music, is a really haunting, solitary, downtrodden little tune. The first time I heard the song it stopped me in my tracks and I could not help but take it in and let it wash over me. As the game progresses, the nighttime music slows and distorts as the days of the apocalypse agonizingly drag on and break down. The narrative integration of the music really props up and supports the atmosphere.

The crackling vinyl texture in the music adds a lot of depth and places the game's time as vaguely 1990s, maybe earlier. It becomes hauntingly nostalgic, like I've heard this music before, or like I can hear the music in the backdrop of my own summer memories. The soundtrack is seriously lovely. I can honestly recommend the game based on the music alone.

This is a short, not-so-sweet horror game about isolation, social ties, trust, distrust, discrimination, prejudice, and what necessitates survival with a unique art style and a great soundtrack. Recommended. I cannot recommend this game enough.

→ No Im not a Human se tornou um dos meus jogos favoritos! A Vibe de estranheza com um toque de realidade me cativou a jogar esse jogo - De jogabilidade simples, tenho certeza que toda Gameplay será diferente pela variedade de personagens e ações.

→ Jogabilidade: Por mais popular que a temática de jogos "impostor" tenha se tornado, Ex: "Thats not my Neighbor", No im not a human tem o diferencial de você só ir sabendo ao longo dos dias, e prestando atenção nos detalhes, como: Sons, Dicas da Tv, Padrões etc, Quem é Visitante ou Apenas uma pessoa comum, acredito quev você ser livre para fazer esse julgamento ao longo dos dias de jogo, deixa uma vibe bem única.
→ O Sistema de Rádio, Tv e Janela tornam tambem o jogo muito orgânico, algo que me agradou muito.

→ Personagens: Mesmo o jogo tendo diversos personagens, acho que todos doram muito bem trabalhados no tempo possível, Pois há Personagens que tem histórias únicas, há Personagens que se conectam com outros ... E tambem tem seus eventos específicos dependendo da Run.

→ No, Im not a Human pode ser catalogado como experimento social?
Acredito que sim, ter uma ameaça "invisível", a incerteza de estar seguro e especular certos limites fazem parte da trama do jogo, mas pode ser levado a vida real, pois se imagine na mesma situação da história do jogo, o que você faria para sobreviver? o quão longe levaria sua própia moral? Até quando a ética pode ser ultilizada? Nesse jogo, você pode se deparar com situações parecidas; Seja por você, ou pelos NPC's, o que provavelmnente vai fazer você julgar as própias ações e a sí mesmo muitas vezes - Dá para criar um paralelo na vida real e de comportamento humano - Mesmo que Utópico até o momento.

→ Opinião Própia: Por Fim - Posso ter poucas horas de jogo no momento, gostaria de no futuro "Platinar" esse jogo, principalmente em desbloquear cada detalhe, cada final e ao máximo ver em geral todas as Lores dos personagens, Tenho Certeza que após tudo isso eu irei jogar mais vezes!

Gives a deeper meaning to what happens to society once everything starts going down hill. Also gives perspective on what is their after the end of life. I have replayed this many times I am 2 endings away from completing this it's really fun I would suggest this game over and over again 10/10
