This game is obviously suffering from content bloat in the current work. I can't build a good gun in peace because I end up wiping out the ``final boss'' in a couple of seconds. But this will be fixed when Endless mode releases.

Che dire, crea dipendenza. Gioco praticamente infinito dove sbizzarrirsi con build tutte diverse, e con il nuovo aggiornamento che porterà armi e nuovi contenuti ne vedremo delle belle.
Al momento della recensione (19h) devo ancora sbloccare una marea di cose, e quando pensavo di aver raggiunto un punto in cui pensavo di essere sul punto di aver scoperto tutte le meccaniche....bam, spunta fuori altra roba.
consigliato a chi piace questo genere di giochi alla vampire survivors.

Another survivor-like whose developers didn't grasp what makes survivor/bullet heaven games fun.
This genre is about many things, but some chore mechanics are about variety AND power fantasy. So when most of the weapons and upgrades are barely usable or even absolute trash, you end up using the same weapons and upgrades every run (when the RNG is on your side) struggling not to fall asleep till the next level where you will have to choose between +0.046 regeneration or +10% damage (but -50% magazine). Absolute slop.
And the game relies too much on grinding components and convoluted unlocks to artificially extend its own lifespan. It needs a huge rework.

Very fun, in a power-fantasy sort of way. Sure, runs can start off kind of rough, but if you figure out how to compliment your weapon (Or just get lucky by blind picking upgrades) you will quickly become so powerful that nothing can touch you. Especially if you build a good gun for your drone that compliments the gun you build for yourself.

My last run for example, I have an SMG build that has massive upgrades to the ammo capacity, fire rate, and reload speed. This makes for a constant stream of bullets. Added to that, I have the freeze upgrade, so by the time I hit level 40 or so, none of my enemies can even move. To go alongside that, I started out with the 50 cal sniper rifle. Slow at first, but my drone's SMG helped me stay alive. I built it for huge ammo capacity, rate of fire, and reload speed. At a certain point, there were no enemies on my screen hardly because they were all dying at the very edges and unable to move closer to me. And I reloaded so fast that my 97 round magazine was only empty for a split second. At level 10 I was slightly scared. By level 25, it sounded like an M60. By level 40, it sounded like an MG42.

Come to think of it, boosting fire rate, ammo capacity, and reload speed might just be overpowered. But it sure is fun.

Five hours in and I feel like I've already experienced most of what the game has to offer, and have the game solved to the point where it's only hard for maybe 10-15 levels. Maybe there are some surprises left for me, and I'm sure upcoming content will be a welcome addition. But either way, even if I stopped playing right now, 5 hours of fun for under 20 bucks is a good deal. BUT, I'm not going to stop playing. However I AM going to stop typing. I have upgrades to unlock. Buy it, have fun.

NGL, only bought the game cuz it was called nimrods, only to find a twin-stick roguelite that feels like everything I want in a video game, it's still in early access so excited to see where it goes from here.

Edit: Going to have to change my review to a thumbs down. Meta progression is explained very poorly. My understanding is your guns level up, but not your character. But I level up a gun in a run, give it to my robot, but the robot doesn't use any of the abilities I unlocked? How meta progression is supposed to work needs to be explained more than not at all.

This game is really fun. I've clocked about 18hrs in it over the last week. It's got a Noita-esque feel in that you can become godlike, but still be deleted if you aren't careful. Very replayable; the meta-progression is fast enough to keep you hooked, but slow enough to make you work. I can't wait for it to be fully finished/updated! 8/10

Technically an amazing Roguelike game but the RNG just sucks, like 3 out of 5 runs are a waste of time because the game forces 3 items on you that are all utility and no damage, several level ups in a row I got almost the exact same 3 items I didnt want to chose from. This game needs a ban mechanic where I can prevent items from showing up when I dont intend to use them EVER. Health regeneration does absolutely nothing, the player doesnt regenerate anything, I assume it boosts healing but its not noticable, I tried to go all bullet size increase but it doesnt do more damage its also worthless, this game simply has too many stats that are either too low to be noticable or are simply so bad that they dont have any effect on gameplay.

I simply miss the ability to create a crazy build every time, when they build something in that will let me manage RNG enough that I can at least sort out the worthless item this gets a recommendation from me.

This is a great game, it is a really fun spin on rougelikes that i find fun, i like the external systems for guns, genes, and airdrops. the guns have a lot of unique modifications that make it feel different when put together. the genes are a fun take on perminant upgrades and actually get kinda op when upgraded. the airdrops are a cool way to upgrade, you can get new ones that let you gamble, heal you etx, they can also be upgraded.
if you are curious about the game there is a demo on crazygames that gives you the basic rundown of the game, most features exept the run itself didn't exist in that version, or are locked though but its fun to try it out to see if you like it and the full game is so much more.
on top of that the game is in beta still, so what is here is activly being expanded on to become even more on its 1.0 release.
