整体游戏还是偏古早风格，所以在快进上面可能会有些折磨，想全成就的朋友记得碰到选项随时存好档，以便后续回收未读部分！！！

I do agree some of the routes are very repetitive, but if you play them in an order where you avoid repeating similar ones one after another, it's better.
The characters were very likeable, although I also agree that some situations are questionable if judged from today's perspective. But, like, I've seen more shocking things in GoT, for example, and no one judges it, so????

★ The story had my interest the entire time. I was hooked! The story can change quite drastically depending on who you're trying to romance. Every replay continued to be interesting & fun.

I didn't enjoy:
☆ Kuroyuki
Kuroyuki & his brother grew up with MC. Kuroyuki was sent away when he was a kid. He hasn't seen the MC in 8 years[roughly?]. When the MC & Kuroyuki get close, he does some shady stuff which is whatever but the one thing that bugged the sh*t out of me the entire way through his storyline was his OBSESSION with repetitively talking about the memory of the MC & him "suckling from the same breast" when they were babies. I understand it's being used as a symbol for how unbreakable their bond used to be & maybe it's a me issue but it just made me uncomfortable lol.

☆ Chójiró
I loved Chójiró's art design so I chose him as my first LI & oh boy... I loved his angsy storyline & everything except for the fact that he's the MC's COUSIN which I didn't know until the first chapter so I felt like someone flung a brick at my head on the first couple of minutes & I cringed everytime it was brought up. /).(\

There's probably more but I'm going off pure memory atm.

I was going to NOT recommend this game simply because of the cousin fiasco & dialogue but honestly, the kiss CG was so good so as long as you can ignore the cousin & the dialogue choices, maybe you'll enjoy it lol

啃英文慢慢啃完了两个角色，分别是月下丸和蝶治郎。石川右武卫门只读了部分。自行翻译的英文读起来实在出戏，太坐牢了，需要缓缓。

先说主控，萌之。但一直呆呆的怎么回事，傻白甜，圣母心，经常在旁看戏......

以下涉及剧透。
最先过的月下丸线。人还挺好呢但为什么这么好，太忠诚了吧......前面长长的剧情看得有点无聊，一直在谢谢对不起没关系，各种迟钝。黑雪看着挺有意思。你们三个把日子过好比什么都重要。[spoiler]没想到最后剧情一直反转，下咒，自刀什么的......欧米茄真是有点心痛了。这个爹是真狠心，皇帝也是个人才，我还寻思给什么奖励呢，以为要锻炼主控把皇位让给主控，结果是自己杀了自己替身假死，就为选摄政王，猎奇。半藏你人不错，安排了假死，还以为真所有人都要嘎呢，好歹留了月下丸。[/spoiler]；

蝶治郎真是个冷漠的人（，和任务过日子去吧。主控有点m了，都这样还能忍呢，还喜欢着呢；

石川右武卫门眼神挺有戏，人设算是花花公子吧，立绘相当耐看。

画风和CG都相当不错，文本量大。

还有有些部分感觉是已读啊为什么不能跳过......如果能有jump键直接跳到下一个选项就好了。

The art is great (´｡• ᵕ •｡`), and so is the voice acting for ALL characters!
The story in my opnion is fantastic, and without spoilers... some of the endings really brought me to tears.
But, is it for everyone? I don't think so. Some story elements can be frustrating (｡•́︿•̀｡)

我觉得最好的感情递进线还得是Chojiro线和Hanzo线，Hanzo线对女主的态度的反差太大了很难不让人记忆深刻而且女主的成长线非常明显。
Kuroyuki的线最让我生气的点是他一点也不在乎自己，什么事都想要一个人去承担，情更多地在意自己一点啊！你身边不是还有我呢吗，不要总是想一个人面对所有啊！
Gekkamaru和Kuroyuki在哪条线里都是我安心的盟友，站在我这一边呢。
Goemon也太entp了吧，举例为：[spoiler]1.高攻低防，看似很会玩但只要被（在意的人）打直球就会害羞退缩，2.有做坏事的才能和头脑但只用于自己觉得好玩并且能够帮助到别人的事上，3.还有就是真的很会为别人着想，很容易让别人感到舒适，其实是一种fe三位，fi盲点的表现，4.放着忍者不做跑去做小偷，只偷有钱人家的东西，就是si四位的叛逆。[/spoiler]

建议用翻译器的语言选英文，正确率比日文版高，也没翻不出来之类的问题。这个游戏对我眼睛很好，角色都很帅，但是对我心脏不好，太窝囊了，打下来应该是半藏>五右卫门>黑雪=月下丸>蝶治郎。[spoiler] 越往后面越是高血压，特别是蝶治郎这条线，女主的四个发小，两个为了保护她和另外两个打起来了，她在一动不动，这对吗？最后好了，四个全死了。按剧情来说，女主不是有实力的吗，你进去划划水呢，占上风之后不杀他们不就行了，你就看啊？最后的HE结局竟然是两个人逃了，老登你不报复一下吗？太气人了。 [/spoiler]

Просто расскажу преимущества и недостатки.
Преимущества:
+ Очень детализированная игра. Пока что нигде такого не видела - моргание персонажей, падение лепестков на фоне, отрисовка даже второстепенных персонажей. У каждого героя свой набор эмоций и поз.
+ Интересная история. Обычно надоедает после двух рутов, а здесь начало надоедать только к пятому. И то только середина (так как она плюс минус общая у всех рутов по своей сути). А вот ближе к концу совсем все различается. Руты совершенно разные.
+ Руты на вкус и цвет: смертоносный путь, путь пацифиста, инцест, созависимые отношения, сталкер.
+ Все герои красиво нарисованны, CG тоже очень красивые и их много.
+ Не так много воды. В каких-то моментах размышления героини слишком длинные, но, в целом, все говорят только по существу. Из-за этого и было так интересно читать. Описаний здесь минимум.
+ Интересный сеттинг с реальными историческими лицами.

Недостатки:
- Не анимированные CG. Небольшой недостаток, так как в большинстве новелл они тоже неанимированны. Но здесь эти CG не всегда совпадают с описанием, они очень короткие и большинство без динамики (когда три варианта одного CG, но на них меняется выражение лица или немного поза).
- Баги! Много мелких некритичных багов, которые снижают комфорт игры. Например: при начале новой главы, если выйти в историю (колёсиком вверх), то игра крашится и вылетает. Приходится начинать с последнего сохранения. Иногда у меня были баги в анимациях, иногда при появлении румянца у персонажа голова пропадала на секунду.
- Самый раздражающий минус - это тупая гг. Слишком наивная. В руте Ханзо она действительно вырастает как личность за счёт убийств. В остальных рутах, особенно в руте Геккамару и Чоджиро, она просто беззащитная тряпка, которую нужно всем спасать. Она всю жизнь тренировалась, но прячется за спинами других, наблюдая как все умирают. Это было бы логично, если бы она была обычной девушкой, а не шиноби, посвятившая свою жизнь тренировкам. И читать пять раз об этом нытье надоедает очень.
- Наитупейшие плохие концовки. Вот серьезно, нигде таких не видела ещё. Исключение - плохая концовка Куроюки: там незаметно было, что началась плохая концовка, и она интересно сделана. А вот в остальных случаях ты чувствуешь, что что-то не так, и так быть не должно. Ты не набрал сердечек и героиня решила [spoiler] захуярить пацана вместо спасения [/spoiler], серьезно??? Какой смысл??? Особенно когда знаешь, что в другой концовке она выбрала другой путь. С плохой концовки Чоджиро я вообще смеялась в голос, настолько это тупо.
Итог: визуально качественная интересная слегка затянутая новелла (59 часов на все что есть в игре). Минусы многих отомэ игр здесь присутствуют (тупая гг).

[Me, browsing my library looking for something to lighten the mood after finishing Clair Obscur: Expedition 33]: "Ohh, this weeb ♥♥♥♥ I bought ages ago... Anime shinobi romance? Jesus, people. Who is this Hanzo everyone talks about? Well, why not..."

[6 hours later, at 1 am, face full of tears, heart thundering in my chest, sweat beads on my back and my breasts tender]: "...Hanzo. What have you done to me. How can I move on??"

And this is how I got a Nintendo Switch to play the Otomes not available on Steam and a CrunchyRoll subscription.

Great game: great voice actors, beautiful pictures + beautiful moments. Some storylines are much better and natural than others..... I will not tire you too much, but : Hanzo is an absolute best (the girl becomes fully independant, confonts the main villains by herself, immense growth of character, etc + their connexion is so sweet) ; Kuro i think is one of the most natural ones (because no huge age gap) aaand he loves the girl the way a person of their age would love ; the red head is fun, but when you know the depth of other stories feels a little bit on the lower end + their connection build up is a little weird to me. Other 2 are really not my thing (the bodyguard + the cousin (?)). Make yourself a service and leave Hanzo for your last PT!

全收集注意：一定要多多存档，全记忆收集需要把每个选项都选一遍（包括共通线选项），共通线如果有落的补漏还得一点点找。
立绘、配音都相当强，每个人在讲话时小表情都很丰富（白毛蓝瞳女主生气超可爱），半藏的低音好听（主页还能更换不同人物配音，每次打开听到半藏的配音都好幸福）。最大的缺点就是steam版没有中文，连汉化也没有，一开始开着翻译器走完了蝶治郎的线花了十多个小时，内容其实不是很多，绝大部分词汇也是四六级水平（除了一些忍者相关的），但是英语老是不进脑子，翻译器有的地方有确实翻译的不对......不想看英语可以去其他平台买中文版。
主线剧情有两条[spoiler]蝶治郎和月下丸的线，丰臣秀吉假死，让古贺的朋友们追杀槐来选监护人；半藏、黑雪、五郎的线，丰臣秀吉真死（老登死得好），五老派自己的忍者追杀槐，古贺的朋友们负责调查，全员存活[/spoiler]，蝶治郎和月下丸的线很虐，五郎和半藏的比较甜（不用自相残杀真好），黑雪线因为病娇属性和童年经历也挺虐的。
五个男主都各有特色，没什么雷点，每次看槐和他们谈恋爱都想让他们所有人在一起（哪个都舍不得落下）。[spoiler]蝶治郎：槐的师父和亲表哥，经典封建压迫下的悲情男主。坚信忍者应该不折不扣地执行自己的任务，即使是杀死自己的同伴、爱人（好好好，无情的杀戮机器），好在内心对槐的爱让他下不了死手（但是月下丸的线是真动了杀心），又在自己师兄们的点拨下发现事情不对劲决定调查真相。个人认为哥哥的be比he更值得回味，长期被忍者信条束缚的人真的能和爱人携手并逃吗？自己的族人还被老登控制着，作为伊贺首领之子，和槐一起赴死应该是对命运的最大抗争。
月下丸：忠犬护卫，不管在谁的线上，月下丸都会不顾一切地找到并保护槐，槐的安危比一切都重要（从这一点来说兄弟俩如出一辙），名场面“月落不离天，月亮会西沉，会消失在天空，但是即使看不到月亮，它也在那里”，听他说的时候真的很感动。虽然一开始可能是咒语让他做贴身护卫，但小时候的槐不顾危险挡在他面前的时候，他就从内心深处自发保护她了吧（解咒方法之一是看到槐和其他人相爱，在其他线上达成了，但月下丸依然愿意支持槐）。he和be区别就在半藏有没有现身带走槐，阻止她自杀并救下月下丸，感觉有点突兀。
五郎：多情浪子+怪盗+前Fuma首领，一堆马甲，虽然乐天但童年也挺惨（心碎）。在他的影响下，槐开始思考人为何而活，并决定为了自己而不是忍者的使命而活。在进京的前一晚，大家聚在一起吃喝玩乐，如果阴谋家没找事一切都很好，但是槐注定要成为政治牺牲品。聪明大胆的五郎利用多重马甲策划了一起惊天盗窃，甚至考虑到了槐的族人，只有槐一个人蒙在鼓里（没办法，被一群人盯着）。he一堆五郎笑死我了，甚至还有蝶治郎和槐伪装的（荣获哥哥的无情吐槽），在烟花中，大家一起夺取了金子并发给民众，这张CG真的很美很幸福，怪盗和他的公主。be主要是因为不信任五郎失去了生的希望，槐死后五郎万念俱灰使用不想用的忍术杀了所有人（除了德川，一切都毁灭吧），也很带感。
半藏：最强忍者，冰山融化，甜度爆表，半藏和哥哥最大的区别就是一个死脑筋一个会变通，面对完不成的任务，哥哥还是狠心要杀槐（虽然没下得了手），而半藏二话不说就自我了断了（救命）。槐和半藏在一起属于成长型女主，她第一次杀人，第一次不再贬低自己而是质疑父亲，和半藏一起并肩作战的槐好帅！两个人为了对方在战斗中不愿意伤害对方的同伴，而半藏更是为了救槐以身挡刀，最后和槐一起隐居。半藏立绘偏冷硬，一开始和德川家康站一起简直分不清谁是攻略对象（家康不能攻略太可惜了），但是湿发半藏就柔和很多（有一点点可爱）。
黑雪：病娇小狗，委屈巴巴的小表情很萌，在其他人的线里神出鬼没，结果进到他的线发现就是他杀了丰臣秀吉，然后欺骗槐和他一起逃亡。本来对他很生气，但后来知道他被送去修炼，导致只有关于槐的记忆，一想到这又觉得黑雪好惨，表面快乐内心孤独，他的全世界就是槐。he和槐一起取得大家原谅很好，但be为槐编制了一段临死前的美好幻觉更揪心（一开始槐伤得不重我真的松了口气，但又有点疑惑，结果下一秒黑雪抱着濒死的槐为她制造幻觉，巨虐啊）。[/spoiler]女主槐可爱又善良，虽然有时候过于圣母，有点没主见，但考虑到她作为和平象征被大家呵护了16年，再结合时代背景，其实还是很合理的。女主的朋友们也很好，磕伽罗和远之介，傲娇大小姐和她的笨蛋搭档，看他俩拌嘴很开心！霞小小的很可爱，每次看她被老登利用都怒火中烧，连小孩都不放过。
关于年龄的一些推测：[spoiler]在五郎的线里说过，小时候半藏12，五郎5，蝶治郎3，后来半藏回乡遇到怀着槐的女主妈妈，这时候他20，那和槐恋爱时半藏32，五郎25，蝶治郎23。月下丸比黑雪大3岁还是5岁记不清了（黑雪线有），槐是最小的。[/spoiler]

This novel is so so good, I do wonder for how long it's gonna remain my favorite otome..? Probably, and hopefully forever, that one of the major factors for getting it was the artstyle and theme.

The store page does contain pretty much all you need to know before you decided to dive-in into the bittersweet adventure full of all kinds of emotions, as well as some mystery that's to be discovered during the first and possibly second playthrough.
As per usual, as in that most novels are scripted like that, this novel does follow a main story with dialogue choices affecting your love interests, determining your ending aswell.

The characters have so rich personalities and are so unique that it's a rarity to come across.
At times, I didn't know what to do..

So many of the reactions of the characters, namely of the protagonist, have felt so relatable, it was almost as if I was reading myself rather than what has she felt, and that made me love her personality even more. And it wasn't just hers..
Many of the characters do feature their unique traits that are so standing out, their actions following them and it does make sense for why'd they do what they have done.
The predictability of the characters, yet remaining the mystery until discovered was one of the points that made me wanna keep reading and discover what's going to happen. The necessity of me having to sleep instead of reading more was almost unbearable, it was difficult to tear myself away from the screen whenever I got myself into reading this otome masterpiece.
I've wanted to know more about them. Their personalities are so interesting, I've felt completely drawn-in that the rest of the world stopped existing for me.

The story does involve some really intense situations, and because I've managed to empathize with the protagonist so much due to having some of the traits and parts of personality in common, that the novel was one if the biggest emotional rollercoasters I have ever experienced when it comes to reading.
I have lost count of how many times have I cried, felt happy, affraid, or even confused. No other novel has managed to awake such a wild side within me yet, besides about one or two exceptions.

Naturally, or rather as one would expect..
Its soundtrack has played straight into the cards of it all. It was all pitch perfect.
Each track, each situation tied to it.. It was matching. Nothing was off, and the music has only intensified everything that's been reflected there back to me.
When the protagonist got sad, I got sad.
When the protagonist felt embarrassed, I have felt embarrassed.
...
This sort of [i]connection[/i] has made it so special. Each track have had its place, and I thoroughly enjoyed every little bit of vibration that got back to me.
There were tracks that have made me alerted, somewhat scared yet determined to find out what's going on and how is it going to end, just like there were tracks that have made me so happy I could burst, as well as sad that I wanted to comfort not just myself, but the portrayed characters in my own fairytale reality that I imagined on top of it all.

If anyone's looking for an otome genred novel, do know that this is gonna be and too likely even remain one of the bests if not the best you can ever come across.
There's no point hiding it, as the novel's got so much to offer in terms of the play with one's emotions that getting immersed becomes so easy, capturing one's attention within such a short while that it will feel truly unique and special.
- Before I finish this review here.. I shall add that certain portions of text aren't properly translated, but that's less than say, twenty lines across the whole novel. In other words, those encounters will be met once in a blue moon.

This review..
I'm not even sure if it's gonna be of any help to you between deciding whether to get the novel or not, seein' that it's become a pretty much yet another.. Eh, confusing mysterious detective [i]essay[/i] of its own, but I can't help it.
Expressing myself without the proper words, unfortunately also affected by the small vocabulary of mine, couldn't have felt any better.

So, please do enjoy yourself reading through this otome masterpiece if you decide to go for it, and hang in there..
Some forces that are to make you all emotional are to be felt while reading this, and I have no doubt you're gonna love it.

В определенные моменты игры нас кормят красивыми изображениями, а персонажи любят смущать, так что возможность пускать слюни предоставлена. 本来是看到和Norn9一个画师，打折了随便买了当代餐，结果完全超出我的预期！日语版打到半夜都不会困的剧情，甜虐又细腻的感情刻画，沾边战国历史的时代背景，有点奇幻色彩的忍术，cv，bgm都恰到好处。这种乙游的六边形战士我不能让它被埋没！但凡你加个中文呢，都不至于这个销量。美中不足的是系统的skip和自动播放对话一样慢，这点叠加共通线剧情的重复，在打第三个男主线之后越发坐牢。但是个人线都很饱满。
女主enju虽然不是强势大女主，但绝对不是无脑依附男人的温室白花。身份大小姐但初心是自立建功，初任务就能看出兼具想法和实力，她在德川家康和丰臣秀吉面前刷的存在感也不是靠美貌长相，而是靠果断行动，比很多一天到晚做饭打扫的日乙女主强多了。更不要说她命运的突变不是普通人所能承受的绝望，假设enju性转成少年漫男角色，有这遭遇，发疯黑化也很合理，如果挺过来谁能不称赞是美强惨。
下面说说我随意打的顺序和各男主线感想。

表哥蝶治郎：这条线的女主太惨了，通过文字也能传递出女主的孤独和绝望，共情地哭了。但正因如此这条线才能体现忍者被当成玩物的残酷命运。哥哥也很好地贯彻了莫得感情忠实任务的冷酷人设，感觉像是在看朽木白哉和露琪亚cp。[i] 如果你不敢正视我，不如趁你杀我的时候，在无法逃避只有彼此视线的那一秒，逼你承认我已经长成足以做你对手的女人了。只可惜最后没有忍住从眼角溢出的感情，终究暴露出我永远无法成为你眼中的优秀忍者了。[/i]
黑雪：人如其名。虽然主线关键事件还是那几个，人物个性也没有变，但实际发展和缘由和哥线截然不同，给我造成几次反转的震撼，但细想都有伏笔。感情线很浓烈，但不只是甜，也很苦。玩通了以后才明白黑雪一出场就对同伴扔手里剑既不是玩笑也不是试探。[i]如果说我们之间是迫不得已下的互相依存，这不是爱情的话，那爱情是可以在各个选项里挑挑拣拣的肤浅玩意？那样的感情不要也罢。除了你我不需要任何选项，没有你爱情也毫无意义。[/i]
五郎：虽然是轻浮役，但有种成熟社会人的安稳感是怎么回事。虽然中间有个反转感觉经不起细究，而且好像杀秀吉的真凶也没揭露(？)但这条线算是至今为止enju感情上可以比较轻松的小甜饼了。[i]一叶飘落半生的浮萍遇见另一片无枝可依的树叶，随波逐流便成了浪迹天涯。[/i]
月下丸：开始还觉得人设过于强调忠犬会无聊，结果谁说忠犬无聊的？他的线很满，人血狗血一起撒，官方男主感。[i]你说月落不离天，但我知道在这个孤寂黑暗的宇宙里，是你的光捕获了我轻微的生命，从此我们两个都有了名为爱的重力。[/i]
半藏：越狱的时候说意想不到的人来了，我还想半藏这就来了？结果来的还是月下丸，因为上一条线走的月下丸，一开始真的好难割舍啊。所有线都打完之后很喜欢所有男主都参与别人个人线的故事，群像对比起来很有趣。半藏和蝶本来理念相同立场不同，和月下丸目的相同但做法不同，和五郎立场类似却性格相反，和黑雪一样过五关斩六将，但难度不同，咳。[i]渐渐熟悉的不止你残酷的忍道，还有你看我时难解的目光。它们都是我还活着的理由。[/i]

Truly terrible game. I played for about two hours and got probably two choices max. I hate it. This is not a game at all and I've played many visual novels that have more actual interaction, even if it was only a dialogue choice. The MC, in the little I've seen, is absolutely annoying and whiny. It was only after playing and realising how bad this was that I went back in and dug through reviews to see that other people had said the same. It is not easily apparent.

The artwork is pretty but that's it. One of the love interests is the MC's cousins too. Ick.

I love this game!! 🥹

- The voice acting is GREAT, not only the love interest ones, but all the characters too! To be honest, I bought this game just because I saw that Kenjiro Tsuda was voicing one of the LIs, heh.
- The art is GORGEOUS; I couldn't help but screenshot every CG I saw even though all of them were in the gallery after seeing them once.
- The soundtrack is good, but to me it wasn't memorable apart from the good ending song (絶えざる花 / MAKOTO), which I listened to way too much...
- I liked the bad endings way more than the good endings [strike] (I yearn for angst) [/strike], because they were all GREAT and well written.

Nightshade's story basically branches to two slightly different storylines ("a" and "b"), so my route order recommendation to avoid major spoilers is:
a) GOEMON > HANZO > KUROYUKI
b) CHOJIRO > GEKKAMARU

And lastly, my thoughts about the routes without spoiling it too much:

[b]Hanzo's route: [/b] Slow burn and healthy relationship! What I like the most here is how both of them learn and grow with each other, all that made love flourish in their journey, making them better individuals. Enju's character development here was really good; this is the only route she fought and stood her ground; in the other routes she was just there to be protected by the LI. The way they fell in love with each other felt so natural, I loved it so much :>

[b]Goemon's route: [/b] Super fun, cute and wholesome! Goemon is too sweet, I felt warm and fuzzy inside and couldn't stop smiling at his good ending. I wasn't expecting much cuz flirty LI love interests aren't my first choice, but Goemon's actions made the romance in this route feel really mundane, I enjoyed it very much!

[b]Gekkamaru's route: [/b] Filled with angst and devotion. I felt so emotional throughout the whole route [strike] (I cried a lot) [/strike] and by the ending, I just couldn't feel much, I was numb even to the good ending, which was bittersweet because of everything that happened. Everything was just so unfair.

[b]Kuroyuki's route: [/b] Yandere. I'm not into characters with this type of personality, but his background for explaining why he became obsessed with Enju is just tragic and well written, that made me sympathize with Kuroyuki. The route is very enjoyable and heartbreaking, it has a great finishing to one of the branching storylines. I especially liked his Bad Ending just because my heart was destroyed when I realized what was happening :')

[b]Chojiro's route: [/b] I don't know what to talk about this route, I do understand the struggles Chojiro went through, but I didn't sympathize with Chojiro at all, the story felt bland to me and I basically played through with my mind blank. I don't really know if this route didn't really add anything to the plot (apart from a bit of info on the other characters) or if it was because this was my last route. But yeah, this is the only route I didn't like playing.

Из-за того, что игра была разработана с фиксированным разрешением, на моем 2K мониторе в оконном режиме изображение слишком маленькое, а в полноэкранном разрешение не соответствует. Кроме того, в полноэкранном режиме иногда ломается звук в некоторых эндингах.

Конечно, поначалу я ожидала более легкую историю, но случайно выбрала один из самых морально тяжелых рутов, [spoiler] а именно с Геккамару, что стало для меня неожиданным и захватывающим опытом. [/spoiler] После этого захотелось перепройти и посмотреть на историю с другого угла, хоть и с опаской (⊙_⊙;).

На мой взгляд, лучшие ветки — [spoiler] тот же Геккамару и конечно Ханзо. Геккамару великолепен в плане раскрытия сюжета, неожиданных поворотов и эмоционального накала. А Ханзо с самого начала казался самым спокойным и уравновешенным рутом — все-таки рядом находится легендарный шиноби W(`0`)W. Плюс как это не парадоксально, в этом руте герои действительно становились сильнее и эволюционировали как личности. [/spoiler]

Остальные руты тоже хороши и найдут своего читателя, ведь каждый предлагает свою уникальную динамику. Однако возможность романтической линии с [spoiler] двоюродным братом главной героини [/spoiler] все же вызывает вопросы (￣▽￣)”.

Если вам нравятся исторические драмы с глубокими персонажами и эмоциональными сюжетами, Nightshade определенно стоит вашего внимания (｡•̀ᴗ-)✧.

I was really excited, after i saw people really hyping up the game.

I ended up really disappointed and stress playing it. The plot is very much predictable, when you play it the first time the game can keep you interested, but then you start a new route and it doesn´t change that much, most of the routes follow the same linear path, so it gets boring because you feel you are reading the same thing all over again.

The voice acting is amazing they have an amazing cast, and the art is one of the strong parts of the game even though i think that they could have choose other moments to illustrate that some of the one that are show also one of the most wasted characters designs is Tokugawa it could have been an amazing love interest and a different way to approach a route due to his position as a lord.

The MC is insufferable in most of the routes she doesnt do anything more than run, in the only route that she truly shines is in Hanzo´s one.

For new otome players it could be a great game but if you had already play other otomes in the past i think the game can disappoint you.

It was a rollercoaster of emotions ! I adored this game, and except for Chojiro, each love interest managed to touch my hearth.

Hanzo was my first, and favorite in term of character developpement for the MC.
Goemon's was sweet and happy.
Chojiro's was a mess.
Kuroyuki's was so tragic it made me cry and feel many things.

BUT Gekkamaru's route was easily the best for me. That man is a treasure, and his love for the MC is so beautifull it hurts. He's officialy my second favorite love interest in a VN, right behind Cove Holden (may his name be praised).

A solid otome. The art is beautiful and the story-line was intriguing. I think it balances story and romance decently. However, I I liked some routes way more than others. l felt that in some routes the main story was dragged out and had unnecessary plot twists, adding a bit too much angst for my liking. But i thought the characters were very likable overall, and the story did keep my attention. My favorite routes were Hanzo and Goro.

Great story, drawings and music. At the end there where twists and turns that made me feel like touch and go about whether I was heading towards a good ending or not. And that made me more invested, which made it more fun and more heartwarming when your protagonist finally gets a kiss <3 and things get heated up! 攻略順は【黒雪→蝶次郎→五右衛門→半蔵→月下丸】です。
個人攻略サイトを参考にさせていただきました。

まず、このゲームには攻略制限がなく、どのキャラからでも攻略が可能です。
ただ個人的に「この順でプレイするといい感じにストーリーが繋がるな…」
と思った順があるので、それも参考に載せておきます。

皆さんが五右衛門を最後にプレイすることをお勧めしていますが、その理由がわかりました。ただ、私は悲恋が大好きなので攻略サイトの順でプレイをしました。

正直、万人受けするゲームではありません。
王道の乙女ゲームを中心にプレイしてきた方にとっては納得のいかない展開も待っています。似たような世界観のとても有名な乙女ゲーム（江戸時代のやつ…桜の鬼のやつ…）がありますが、それが好きな方でも眉を顰めるかと。

それでも高評価な理由があります。
それは実際にプレイしていただければわかるはずです。
とても良いシナリオでした。

このゲームは命の重さと人を想う重さ、それらについて考えさせられるゲームだと思いました。
命って大切ですよね。それは自分の命も人の命も。
そして運命を変えるということ。それはとても怖いことです。
でも、自分の足で自分の人生を歩むには自分で選択していかなければなりません。
主人公と攻略キャラたちはその選択を迫られたとき、どう選択していくのでしょうか。
そんなストーリーです。

言い忘れました。糖度は低いです。
一度は触れてほしいゲームであることは間違いないです。

さて、私が感じた「ここが好き！！！」ポイントをお話していきます。
悲恋が好きなので、一般とは違う視点でのお話になるかと思います。

ストーリー的に本筋とは関係のないシナリオに感じました。
他ゲームで言うシークレットキャラのような立ち位置かもしれません。
※なので、一番最後にプレイするといい感じに終わるのかなと思いました。

黒雪のハッピーエンドに関して「いや、そうはならんやろ」となりました。
人間の心理はちゃんと描写しているのに無理やりハッピーエンドに向かわせた感じでしたね。バットエンドはまだ見ていませんが、黒雪に関してはもしかするとこっちが真エンドなのかもしれませんね。

そもそも、あまりにも自己中すぎます。
正直、他のシナリオで助太刀として現れていたほうが良い人でいられました。
私は苦手なタイプです。現実にいたら真っ先にお別れします。
最初にプレイしてしまって後悔しました。
思っていた性格のキャラではなかったし、展開も期待外れでした。
最後にプレイするか、未プレイのままで終わらせたかったですね。
バットエンドは悲恋になりそうなので、このあとプレイして彼への印象を変えたいと思います。

【蝶次郎】

蝶次郎に関しては製作陣に拍手を送りたいです。振り切ったね～！！！！と。
過去にもほかのゲームで似たような展開を見てきましたが、久しぶりに心に来る展開でしたね。

何も知らずにプレイしたので、最初はあの展開に衝撃を隠せませんでした。
そんな最悪なことがあっていいのかと。
これを世に出した製作陣は狂っているのかと。
ただ、他のキャラのシナリオで蝶次郎に泣かされたので、「やっぱり私は蝶次郎が好きだ…。あの展開だからこそ好きになったんだろうな…。」と自覚しました。
蝶次郎の長としての責任感、仲間に対する想い、主人公への想い、全て良かったです。

【五右衛門】

彼は王道の乙女ゲーム好きな方でもとっつきやすいキャラだと思います。
まずは導入としてプレイするのもありかと。
ただ、彼を最初にプレイしてしまうと他のキャラは悲恋シナリオなので、ゲーム自体を敬遠してしまうかもしれないですね。
その点からすると攻略順は真ん中あたりに持ってくると中和、最後に持ってくると本当に幸せな気持ちで終えられるかもしれません。
私は悲恋大好きなので、五右衛門さんはさっさとプレイしてほかのキャラクターに集中したかったですね、、、笑
糖度はこのゲームの中では甘く、でも大人として主人公に対して一歩引いている感じがよかったです。軽々守っている感じも素敵でした。
余裕がある大人っていいですよね。

このゲームを始めて、初めて本気で好きになったキャラですね！
他のキャラに比べて主人公を無条件で甘やかさず、育てている姿に好感。
ただ生真面目に仕事をしつつ、主人公をいたわる心もあってよかったです。(半蔵は無自覚？主人公が気づいていました。)
主人公のけなげな努力に半蔵はきっと惚れたんだと思います。
いつの間にか主人公も半蔵も惹かれている、そこが丁寧に描かれていて最高でした。
ただ、ちょっとご年齢が気になりましたね…笑
キャラも展開もいいのにそこはなんとかならんかったのか、と思いました。
彼の年齢を知ったとき思わず突っ込みましたからね。

【月下丸】

製作陣に良い意味で裏切られました。最初は展開に予想がついたんです。
真面目でまっすぐに主人公を想い続ける月下丸。安心してみていられました。
後半の怒涛の展開も、「月下丸だからなんとかなるだろう」そう思っていました。
だから、その予想を裏切る展開が来てこのゲームが大好きになりました。
その裏切りと、月下丸のまっすぐさに心を奪われました。

以上です。
総評価はとても良かったと思います。
ただ、どのシナリオでもご都合展開がいくつかありました。
乙女ゲームなのでハッピーエンド、バットエンドに持っていくために必要だと思います。
でも、各シナリオで主人公補正、攻略キャラ補正があからさまにあるシーンが出てきて「うーん」となりました。
もちろん、好きな展開ではあるのですが。
命を扱う物語なら、ご都合展開なしのストーリーにしてほしかったですね。
それに、ご都合展開の補正にかからないサブキャラ達がかわいそうに思ってしまいます。
蝶次郎シナリオは一番ご都合展開が少なくてよかったですね。
（…私の好みです。蝶次郎シナリオをランキング第１位にしてしまうと蝶次郎にクレームが行きそうなので、月下丸が第１位になってます…笑）

さて、これからバットエンドを回収していきたいと思います。
はたして、黒雪への印象は変わるのでしょうか…！？

DNF. The art is pretty, but that's it.
I just wanted a regular otome game romance, but instead got a long and boring story about some ninjas and clans and a thief and I don't even know what else, because I just started skipping everything (which was possible because the game gives you almost no dialogue options to choose from).
Also, I didn't like any of the characters. The MC is a 16 year old "way-too-kind" cliché, and none of the romanceable characters are interesting or charming. I honestly don't get why everyone likes this game.

朋友知道我吃Kuroyuki这种人设推荐给我玩的。本来以为自己能全打完，但看完一堆“没有Enju就活不下去”的这种宣言后果然没任何动力打别人的线了。所以建议很吃病娇男鬼人设的大家一定要玩回本的话别先玩Kuroyuki线（？）。共通线好长好长，剧情也有点水水的，中途连着两天都打睡着了（其实也有原因是XP使然对其他四个人0感情，一直都在期待Kuroyuki出场）。实际上一条完整个人线用不了十六小时这么长，顶多十四小时吧。

里面某些忍术真的好好笑，[spoiler]一群人疯狂转圈抽干人圈内部空气试图让里面的人憋死加上横冲直撞的立绘演出 [/spoiler]真的怀疑这是什么幽默小品...手柄没做适配有点难受，但好听的音乐和精致的水彩风格立绘让我坚持下来了。要吐槽一下英文翻译，很多语音可爱的小语气词和情感表达没有翻译出来，对话都显得干巴巴的，朋友们如果有能力的话还是读日文版字幕吧，体验会好很多。如果一定要啃英文的话也没什么生词的，就是派系和各类人物名字或许需要着重记一下。

I really enjoyed this otome. It's one of the better ones I've played imo. I'm not an otome connoisseur by any means, but I've played my fair share.

Cons:

1. WHY DOESNT TOKUGAWA HAVE A ROUTE??? These devs really put this beautiful man in this game with the sweetest voice just to tease us. I played through all the routes and unlocked everything in the hopes it would unlock a Tokugawa route. Massive disappointment.

2. Writing: The MC is the typical lame damsel in distress the majority of the time. She has her moments of being a hard worker and sucking it up, but for the most part she's weak, in the way and winy. I dislike MC like this. I love being saved by a knight in shining armor as much as the next girl but I hate when the main character is a burden the whole time -_-

3. The choices don't really matter much. Either you pick the right one or you don't. Not much else to it. This is a minor con for me though, as I feel like most otome are like this.

4. A little uncomfy: (Trigger warning) [spoiler] Kuroyuki's route is a bit intense and really sad. I didn't dislike it. I like when games have dark/sad themes. But dude was just creepy imo. By far my least favorite route. Also, lots of age differences that could be potentially grooming? Idk I tried not to think about the older cousin thing too much with Chojiro lol. Or the fact that Hanzo is probably twice MC's age. Tbh Gekkamaru was the least problematic. So if you're sensitive to anything like that, just be aware. I still think the game was a lot of fun and this wasn't a big enough issue for me to not recommend the game. [/spoiler]

Pros:

1. Artwork is beautiful

2. Voice acting is impeccable. By far the best I've experienced playing an otome. Hanzo alone had me swooning fr

3. Writing: Each route is similar but different enough to make it worth playing them all imo. I also liked that this was pretty tame. Nothing spicy. I like a slow burn with low spice and that is also hard to find sometimes.

4. UI / options: The skip and quick save/load features are so good. A lot of these games don't implement them well or usefully so you still end up having to re-read stuff you don't want to and wasting a lot of time. After I finished the good endings for all the routes, I was able to plow through to the bad endings within an hour using these features.

Overall I highly recommend the game if you like otome. I think Hanzo and Gekkamaru have the best routes, so if you only want to play a couple, I recommend those.

女主上野槐虽然是忍者，但是经典日乙女主16岁善良小白花起手，但槐槐实在太美丽了；况且我玩这类游戏并不追求恋爱感/代入感，更像是在看电影（我选择的男主就相当于我磕的下去的槐槐的cp，挺好的，上野槐就该一鹰一狗一猫陪伴身旁，长这么美就该开后宫！）女主与朋友的友谊描写也很真挚，所以说主线剧情流程很短但很流畅。在我打的过程中常常会冒出一些想法比如：觉得不太真实、写权谋有点像在写过家家，但转念一想，让步于恋爱的于是把权谋写的很幼稚是女性向游戏的通病，何况这本来就是恋爱游戏，所以我就按下不表了！
steam无汉化但是我觉得英文生肉不是很难，而且还很短；
推荐大家先攻略月下丸或者蝶治郎，月下丸那条线。。唉。。。我需要所有买了这个游戏的人体会一下。。（然后黑雪线最好放在后面一点再打）

Oh man this VN is so good. It is for sure in my top 5 favorite otome games. The LI are all top tier that it makes it hard to pick a favorite. I know a lot of people complain about the MC, but she did not bother me at all. Once you play Amnesia any other character is brilliant afterwards and more tolerable.

This is probably the best visual novel out there yet. I was playing for 12 hours straight just to finish one ending.. the game is great! lots of content, a big great coherent story and a lot of cute well drawn and designed caracters. While the game has a lot of sad moments the happy ending greatedly made up for it! 12/10 would totally recommend! Even after playing for 12 hours there are still many more things to do and unlock!

First of all! You right click the upper portion of the screen to access the menu on PC. That took me forever to figure out, and I freaked out thinking I couldn't save. That's also the menu where you can see your relationship points with the 5 romanceable guys or change the settings to make skipping faster/slower, etc.
This visual novel is a fantastic blend of squee-worthy romance and political intrigue. The first 3-4 chapters follow the same story line, allowing you to make choices and gain romance points with your desired character. Then there are a few minor changes depending on who you have the most romance points with and a mission split (Gekkamaru and Chojiro follow one mission while Kuroyuki, Hanzo, and Goemon follow the other mission). Around chapter 5, whoever you have the most romance points with (if there is a tie between two or more, the game will choose the highest one to the left) becomes your locked in romance story from then on with unique pacing and plot.
It really felt like a different story for each play through - I was very impressed. Usually with multiple romance options, you pretty much just play the same game over and over to get the achievements, but this was really fun to read each character's story. Each had similar major plot points as anchors, but there was a lot of fluidity in the story details between those plot points.
If you want a dramatic, cry-your-eyes-out, never-saw-that-twist-coming type first play through - pick Chojiro first. If you want a twist and some crying but in a slightly less dramatic and intense fashion, try Gekkamaru first. If you're into dark and broody bad-boy with a tragic backstory trope, Kuroyuki is your boy. If you prefer to play the innocent shy girl falling for a playboy with an earnest heart and a carefree attitude, go with Goemon. If you're the type who likes to feel in control of a situation or if you don't like to be confused trying to puzzle out the intrigue and just want things laid out for you, Hanzo's got your back.
My recommended play order would be Chojiro --> Kuroyuki --> Hanzo --> Gekkamaru --> Goemon ...... Hanzo was my favorite. Chojiro was a close second favorite, though.
Now I need to go and get all the bad ending achievements.

喜欢看女主成长的可以无脑冲啦，光是半藏线就足够让我狠吹一辈子！看评论区已经有很多人评价过男主们了，那我就浅浅夸一下对npc的塑造吧！我最喜欢的角色是kasumi，在蝶治郎线里、她的心态转变描写的非常好、很让人感同身受，导致我瞬间谅解了她在月下丸线的举动。ennosuke等人的性格特点也很鲜明，完全不脸谱化，不会像茉莉花一样被很突兀地“刁民化”，总之很有生活气息啦。而且ed真的巨好听！最后enju万岁！希望enju能获得平平淡淡的幸福！

开始玩这个游戏是抱着练习日语阅读的心态，到打完的时候的确进步了很多，第一条共通加上个人线我花了20h才打完，而最后一条线只用了6个小时。而游戏本身也远超出了我的预期，画风和音乐我都非常喜欢，截止写这条评测的时候我已经听了391次絶えざる花。。。我的攻略顺序是半藏>五右卫门>月下丸>蝶哥>黑雪，而这也恰好是我对五个角色的喜好程度。

半藏：仅此一条就真的值回票价，津田健次郎的声音太超过了所以我一句语音都没有跳。作为全作武力值最高的角色，跟着老叔非常安心。这条线的女主成长也是最令人欣慰的，最后还[spoiler]一刀捅死坏爹，很好！[/spoiler]不过因为我一来就打了这条线导致别的线她只能做被人保护的小白花时感到非常违和。。。感情塑造我也很喜欢，因为[spoiler]“为何是你，为何是我”[/spoiler] 这句话我上头到在steam ns和psv三个平台各买了一遍这个游戏。。。
五右卫门：非常浪漫的一条线，不论是共通线里[spoiler]月色下带着血气的江洋大盗平静地抽着烟斗说“我只是赏赏月”[/spoiler] 还是个人线[spoiler]在漫天烟花里挥洒上位者的不义之财奔向自由[/spoiler]，他都有一种清醒又放纵的感觉，轻浮役但很讨喜。
月下丸：很让人安心的忠犬，[spoiler]在黑雪线里发现被骗后看见月下丸时安全感爆棚！！[/spoiler] 但剧情太惨了，知道真相后只想一刀捅死始作俑者。此刻的我还不知道最轻松的两条线已经被我先吃了。。。
蝶治郎：这条线让我把这个游戏搁置了半年。。。大半时间都在对着空气自我攻略，但是be我很喜欢
黑雪：实在无感，因为听说是真相线所以留在了最后，但卖惨嫌疑过重且剧情有不能自洽之处，所以快速打完了 [spoiler]PUA更是雷上加雷[/spoiler]

+ Все руты длинные (кто-то написал в отзывах мол первый надо 10 часов читать. Нуууууууу это если читать очень медленно и со словарём. Реально - часов 6-7)
+ Все актёры - профессионалы своего дела, особенно Коске Туриюми, знакомый мне ещё по соседней игре про шиноби - Hakuoki, знает, чертяка, как довести девушку до мурашек одним только голосом :D
+ [b]ОЧЕНЬ ЖИРНЫЙ ПЛЮС[/b] Игра даёт право на ошибку. Очень часто в новеллах одна ошибка и ты ошибся. Один раз ткнула не то = "нормальная"/плохая концовка. Два раза ткнула не то = мрак, безысходность, все умерли, застрелилась даже кошка. В этой новелле даже если ткнуть 8/10 "правильных" ответов, всё равно будет happy end.

เนื้อเรื่องค่อนข้างให้มาเข้มข้นเลยค่ะ แถมยังเป็น full voice มีคนนึงเชย์ยูคนเดียวกับ nanami ใน jujutsu kaisen ฟังแล้วลื่นหูมาก ๆ
ตัวเกมส์จะเป็นลักษณ์ของช่วงวันแรกจะให้เราเลือกตอบเพื่อให้เก็บค่าความชอบถ้าค่าความชอบของคนไหนมากที่สุดก็จะเข้ารูทของคนนั้น ๆ ไป
แน่นอนว่าถึงแม้เราจะเล่นหลายรอบเพื่อเก็บให้ครบทุกรูทก็ไม่มีเบื่อเลยค่ะ เพราะเนื้อเรื่องแต่ละรูทจะไม่เหมือนกัน แต่ละรูทก็จะให้ key เนื้อเรื่องไม่เหมือนกัน เราเล่นจบไปคนเดียวคือแทบไม่รู้เรื่องอะไรเลยค่ะ แนะนำให้เก็บให้ครบทุกคนจะรู้เนื้อเรื่องได้ครบที่สุด

It's convienent to have the game on the switch and pc to complete good and bad routes at once because the options and the skip is slow. It takes over 5 chapters to get to there but it's definitely worth it for the CG. Chojiri's bad ending was my favorite :3

невероятно понравилось, что прохождение новых веточек даёт больше информации о том, что происходило в самом начале, до развилки <3
проходила в порядке Чоджиро>Гекка>Горо>Ханзо>Куроюки. будь у меня возможность стереть память и пройти снова, я бы это сделала и прошла точно в таком же порядке. к слову, полюбился каждый!!! QwQ

смеялась больше всего я с Горо-саном.. нет, вам правда нужно выйти на концовку с ним, чтобы понять, о чём я-

i love Nightshade, but i'm also ridiculously frustrated with it as an otoge. i've played a few routes on Steam and a few routes on Switch, enough to get a sense of the overall storyline, and i've never played an otome that frustrated me equally as much as it endeared me to its cast and characters.

the good: teita's art is absolutely gorgeous and all of the characters, including the side characters, are so well designed and have so much personality and effort put into their art, concept, and voice acting that it's impossible not to smile when playing this game. i laughed out loud at a few of the prompts and scenes that weren't directly related to the MC and LI, just the side characters getting up to antics that made the overall storyline feel much more cohesive and alive. the writing in some routes is just astonishing; Hanzo's route made me giggle and kick my feet and i don't usually like kuudere LIs lmfao

the bad: what is this plotline ??? why is it so convoluted ??? why won't Kuroyuki stop talking about how we shared a breast ?!?!??!?! Gekkamaru's route (which, arguably, is the canon) reads like a bad melodrama and i love him so much but i can't get over the constant plot twists and sudden events going on everywhere. at this point Goemon is my favourite just because you don't have to get involved with whatever is going on and can just skip town with a cute boy.

overall still a really worthwhile otoge to play, with lots of cute scenarios. please let me date Ieyasu i am begging please

I tried this game on Steam first and then finished it on my Nintendo. The game was enjoyable in the first two routes, I played Goemon and Hanzo's route first. The plot development is very bad in Chojiro and Kuroyuki's route, it left a bad taste in my mouth, both MC and LIs are so stubborn, and so irritating. The poster boy route is good but it's not enough to make me enjoy this game anymore.

I loved this game for reasons many have said before. One thing I will say is that I really enjoyed the angst and bad ends and the CGs along with them. Its uncommon for me to praise bad ends as much as I did in this game to me they really stand out versus other Otomes. I also really enjoyed the music and voice acting in this one as well. The characters were well written for the most part. I personally really loved Hanzo and Goemon over the other guys and Goemon's bad end? Chef's kiss. The general story is pretty tropey but that's pretty standard for most otomes and it mainly leaned towards edgey and angsty but it is a story about ninjas where they're starting to get phased out. I found the secondary characters also enjoyable and Nightshade is the one dating sim I first recommend to others. If you are not a fan of angst stay away from this one.

To start off, I never really had the intention to buy this game but everyone kept praising it so I bought it last year. I only found the time to play it recently(after my finals were done) and I immediately went on to try it. It took me 6 days in total to finish with 33 hours of gameplay. Minor-ish spoilers will be included(can't guarantee that's all but I'll try my best)

I did Goemon->Hanzo->Chojiro->Gekkamaru->Kuroyuki for the route order and before I started any actual route, the order of which LI I liked so far was Hanzo>Goemon>Chojiro>Gekkamaru=Kuroyuki.

Here's my quick thoughts on each of the routes/characters:

1. Goemon

-Ngl, I was looking forward to his route because I like flirty characters :). His route started off great, got me catching feelings for him(as expected). I have nothing much to say other than I was kind of disappointed in the later half of his route. It wasn't bad, it's just that I feel like the ending was too rushed. You'll find that I'll have similar opinions on the others' routes as well. Route is a 6.5/10 for me.

I feel like I'd grown like him more on the other routes lol he's just so.. gentlemanly. I find myself disappointed when he just leaves abruptly like he normally does. I love how he's just there to help because he slightly likes her in all of the routes lol.

2. Hanzo

-I HAD NO EXPECTATIONS FOR HIM. He isn't my type to begin with(he's too old for my liking) but DAMN. His route was amazing, had me feeling giddy all the time. I loved loved LOVED Enju in his route, she is such a badass there in contrast to her normal damsel character in everyone else's route. Like Goemon's, his ending was also slightly rushed but I didn't mind it that much here because it blended in well anyways. 7.5/10 --Actually, make that an 8/10 lol simply bc he's a great character and once you finish the game you'll find that you love him more than you did during his route lol.

I kind regret doing him second because in the last three routes, I just continued on falling for him even more💀. How can he be so.. lovable?? Anyways, that's it, I just love him.

3. Chojiro

-I really liked him at first, he was stoic, but not cold. Plus, he's very pretty. His route made me cry a lot and I would've liked it more if I didn't hate the Koga gang as much. I found them to be very hypocritical especially in his route and they had a fair amount of screentime as well, I was just irritated most of the time. Also, I found the pacing to be horrendous. Too many things were happening at once, which in a case, is actually what makes his route so overwhelming but at the same time underwhelming because you don't linger on a certain problem for long. I didn't like the ending as well, not because it was bad, I feel like it could've been better, the whole route could've been better. 5/10.

As a character? Meh. He doesn't amaze me. He and Hanzo have the same mindset but Hanzo is just better in every way lol I'm sorry.

4. Gekkamaru

-I was very hyped for his route and boy it did not disappoint. I found it to be the most romantic out of the five and the CGs were just absolutely beautiful. The pacing was great except for, yeah, the ending. I felt likethey didn't give us enough time to digest all of the information in the ending and just threw all of the ♥♥♥♥ right at us. Nonetheless, I liked it, the romance makes up for it. 9/10

I love him sm in every route even though he can be a bit overbearing. How can you get mad at such loyalty and sincerity? He's just perfect. Perfect route to end the game with.

5. Kuroyuki

-I saved him for last because I liked him the most out of the cast(I like brats). While I did expect how his route was gonna go, I was not prepared for how yandere he is. Anyway, I feel like his route was the best paced of them all. Nothing felt overly rushed(considering how short each route actually is) and I feel like I was given proper time to digest my thoughts about him. Unexpectedly, his route did not impact me the most though(which I thought would, which is why I chose him last), doesn't mean it was bad, it was great. I didn't really connect with him as a character but I do sympathize with his situation. I think it's just a me problem though. His route could've been perfect except for the fact that THERE WAS 0 KISS CGS?! HOW TF DOES HE HAVE THE MOST KISS "SCENES" WITH ENJU BUT HAS 0 CGS OF IT. It was still pretty romantic though despite that. 9/10 best boy.

He's a character you'd want to hate but physically cannot if you've played his route lol. Also, these lines from his route tho

"I wanted to make a world for us, but you love the world you're in."

"If I can't live with her in this world, then I'll make this world right for her"

I wish we'd gotten more brother moments but that's a dream too good to be true. In the end, the order of characters I liked ended up being Chojiro>>Goemon>Hanzo>=Kuroyuki>=Gekkamaru(I'm indecisive). The game could've been miles better(not that it was bad ofc) if the routes were longer and more fleshed out, you find that it's just lacking in extra details which makes it hard to properly connect with the game.

Overall, the game was entertaining. I wouldn't say it's a masterpiece nor but since I play on pc and got it while on sale, it's more than worth compared to what I paid. I wished this was longer but it's past midnight and I want to pass out of drowsiness. I apologize for any grammatical mistakes or if I explained something poorly, my mind is not functioning properly rn.

SUPER GOOD GAME!!! I really loved this game and managed to get the good gekkamaru ending and i swear its so cuteeeeee. I really reccomend this game to anyone in love with more old time japan culture since its based at around that time. but yes i really love this and hope you do too!

Beautiful game. There's a good variety in the routes with some being more sweet and others more tragic. Enju is a great protagonist and I love seeing her develop along with the love interests in each route. Hanzo is the best <3
