The Queen's Hope Diamond has been stolen! It's up to you to search for clues, find the offending culprit, and recover the stolen gem!
Following on the heels of Mystery Case Files: Huntsville, the player is tasked with investigating the disappearance of the Queen’s Hope Diamond in Capital City. The 800 carats (160 g) diamond was stolen from the Capital City Plaza Gallery where it was on display as part of the annual mineral convention, Sparkle Daze. Prime Suspects adds items that players have to discover to unlock later levels (such as finding a battery to power a flashlight). Characters also became a more prominent part of the series with the investigation revolving around a list of 20 characters with different personality ‘quirks’.

I used to play this game when i was 7 with my mom and it helped me develop a lot of english words beyond my level.
I find this game very fun and exciting, mostly when you already know where all the items are hidden, Even after years of playing (not on this account), this game still breaks my boredom and spikes my senses.
Would reccoment trying, though i can not assure complete enjoyment to most people.

One important thing you need to know before buying this game is that it cannot be played in full-screen mode. so you gonna have to get closer and focus more cos the timer beside that me and my mom really are a big fan of big fish hidden object game so it's good to come back and played it once in a while.
A fun classic Mystery Case Files hidden object game. Much longer than Huntsville, and the Computer Analyzer sequences were more fun. Personally, I didn't love the hidden object sequences with a flashlight, but I appreciate them trying something different.

Continuing from the first game in the Mystery Case Files series, Prime Suspects is a worthy and well rounded squeal that deserves praise and acknowledge as it's clear the team wanted to keep the core game play while adding new features to keep it fresh. I really enjoyed myself, and it seems like every time you play the characters are randomized so at the end you'll get a new suspect, which is pretty cool for those who like to beat the time of 2 hours on their in game leader board. Otherwise, once is enough and like me, you'll be heading to the next game in the series. Check this game out if you have the time!

honestly one of the best mini-games of the 2000s. I've probably spent 100s of hours playing this off Steam as a kid...the soundtrack deserves a special mention, it's immersive, mysterious, and way better than it had any right to be
Hidden object puzzle game in crystalic form, can´t say much more. If you like searching the screen for fiendishly hidden things, which always look different than you imagine, this is a game for you. Long, difficult, frustrating, but quite honest game, with a backstory which does not take itself too seriously. I especially appreciated the wordplay with hints (e.g. if hint says "two bats", you may be searching for flying mammals, sport equipment, of both). Honestly, if this genre is your thing, you will be cursing and swearing, but you will have a lot of fun.

I liked the game a lot, the windowed mode took a bit getting used to but I adapted eventually and there were a lot more suspects than I remembered but it was still really fun to play out.
Played the game for the first time with my cousins when I was a kid. We had so much fun, and I remembered the game ever since then. I found it on Steam a few years ago and have since played it many times. Love it!

After becoming a Master Detective in Huntsville, I was sent to the Capital City Piazza Gallery in the United States to find the culprit who had stolen the Queen's, Hope Diamond.
Prime Suspects is the second game in the Mystery Case Files series. Big Fish Studios debuted Prime Suspects on April 5, 2006, and reported record-breaking sales of 3.3 games per minute!
To date, there are 26 games in the Mystery Case Files franchise. Games 1-9 were developed by Big Fish Studios, Games 10-11 were developed by Elephant Games, Games 12-20 were developed by Eipix Entertainment, and Games 21-26 were developed by Grandma Studios.
[b]MYSTERY CASE FILES: PRIME SUSPECTS[/b]
Just as in its predecessor, Huntsville, you are tasked with searching for clues in locations across the town in the form of Hidden Object Scenes. There are 22 Levels that take place over 29 different locations. Each level requires the player to search a handful of locations that have 8 listed objects per scene within the allotted time (which varies depending on the number of locations)
They have gotten quite creative with ever-changing levels to give it great replayability benefits because the objects or "clues" change each time you replay the game. They have added a Fourth Hint feature and two new varieties of HO's. As you progress, you will be tasked with re-visiting the scenes in search of a Battery to power two devices that allow you to search items in the dark using a flashlight or search through walls using a magnifying glass device. Sure, these are features HO-lovers have encountered for years, but in 2006, this feature had never been encountered...and it was the beginning of a MCF tradition of fancy gadget-wielding devices by the infamous Master Detective Brown.
The mini-games have improved as well. There are three different puzzles to solve. The Square Tile-swapping puzzle from Huntsville has returned, a Memory Match game (flip over 2 cards at a time to make matches of identical items), and one of the most entertaining Word Search games I've ever played! This is an unusual game where you are tasked with finding 10 words in a specific category, such as 10 Body Parts or 10 Bathroom items, but that's not the unusual part. The letters are all different sizes, shapes, and colors, they even use @ symbols as A's or $ for S's! I enjoyed this game so much that I have been trying to find a Word Search game with the same feature for days. I can't believe that no other developer has used this idea since 2006!

A basic standard hidden object, one of the original Mystery Case classics. Feels a bit dated but still fun to play if a little tedious by today's standards in the hidden object genre.
A very solid hidden object title.
It is fairly challenging, has replay value (all the objects that you have to find are randomised), you have a limited amount of time and hints to find everything.
According to hltb website this game is 6-8hrs long, and I expected it to be over fast. However its taking me long than I expected im on lvl 18 out of 22 right now. Which is a pleasant surprise for me, its very fun and I dont want it to be over yet.
The main negative aspect of this game is the fact that the resolution isnt the greatest. Sometimes its simply hard to see the items. Its not too bad though.
Even though I like the former part more still a pretty good and hard game. I really like the comic style of the suspects and the best is that the ending is changing always. Not every time is the the same suspect the guilty one. All in one really nice game. I can recommend this part.
I played this game when I was very young and loved it for not only the puzzles, but the hide and seek aspect to find objects in a game. The Mystery Case Files franchise set the path for my love of hide and seek/ mystery type games. Definitely recommend if you love mystery, puzzles, finding objects, and testing your memory style games. I will always love The Mystery Case Files games.
I've only recently discovered Hidden Object games for myself, and started with the Mystery Case Files as they are classics. They are a bit dated, but I love the cynical humor and the challenge of the hidden object puzzles. They are very simple in their design, and for 99% truly only a hidden object game, but it's exactly what makes this so much fun.
Actually enjoy this game a lot. The design is cool, hidden objects mesh well with the environments making for some challenging puzzles and the suspect characters have comical bios that help progress the cases. Good game to stream too.

Reprenant quasi à l'identique la recette du premier épisode, voici un petit HOG sympa, sans prétentions, où chaque niveau est une enquête sur un suspect différent d'une affaire de vol de diamand où vous devrez trouver un certain nombre d'indices dans un temps imparti.
Certains lui reprocheront le fait que la résolution est datée et vous obligera parfois à remettre votre écran en HD après y avoir joué.
A noter que le jeu est uniquement en anglais. Donc oubliez si vous ne maîtrisez pas la langue, ou alors ayez un dictionnaire à côté de vous, d'autant que le jeu joue régulièrement avec les homonymes.

I have never found a hidden object game so good and satisfying and if I do, it won't be like PrimeSuspects, It is the first hidden object game I ever played and best game in this genre Still and Forever for me! I have been playing it for almost 15 years :') I'll Never get tired of it!
I truly enjoyed this game. It reminds me a lot of my childhood! It will always be my favorite hidden object series!

As the second entry in the series, you play as a true Master Detective. You are tasked with discovering the perpetrator who stole a priceless gem in a big city. There are 20 suspects, each acting as their own individual levels. You visit multiple scenes searching for hidden objects so as to uncover the suspect by the end of the level. Each includes a different puzzle as you uncover the scene that the suspect is located in.
Pros:
- The game runs.
- The time you are given has increased compared to the previous entry.
Cons:
- The image quality of the hidden object scenes has not held up well, many items you need to find are barely even visible.
- Story seems very lack luster, similar to the first game.
- The music feels even more repetitive, followed by certain ambiance each scene gives you that loops.
- I understand It's a hidden object game, but after playing the previous entry, I spotted many of the exact same models of items from the first. And some of the same items are scattered multiple times across different locations. Laziness.
Closing Statements:
Didn't enjoy this one very much at all, decided to abandon playing the remainder of the game through as searching through the grainy, low quality images were beginning to give me a headache. This title takes what was negative about the first installment and seems to double down on it. The only positive I can place here was their choice on adding more time to the timer, however even that can be seen as a negative as they could have chosen to make the timer optional in the first place.

Good old fashioned hidden object game. Used to play this with my family when I was younger. Be warned, this is an old game that was made for older computers. The screen may appear small or pixelated on some monitors.
This is not a fun game at all. You will need Superman eye vision to see the hidden objects. Some are too small and there’s no way to zoom in the scenes. The hints won’t work after using 3x. I won’t recommend it. It’s a complete waste of time.

This game has not aged well and has no widescreen support. I would not spend money on it at this time and regret doing so. Hoping some of the later (2010 on) games from the MCF perform better.
FWIW I really loved the game when it first came out and this and Huntsville were my introductions into HOGs, but on a modern computer with a wide or ultrawide screen, this just doesn't work unfortunately. It's as if it were made for ants.

The game basically is very similar to MCF: Huntsville. It has the same style and reuses the same sound effects and music. It's longer than Huntsville, but amount of scenes to search the items for is about the same - you just have to go through the same locations again and again. There are 20 prime suspects to investigate and about 25 different locations. With each suspect you have to search 6-7 locations, which means some of them repeat a lot. Also, the same as in Huntsville, there is a time limit and if you run out of time you have to go through the same locations again. Basically in later stages of the game it becomes more of a memory game - you don't search for items, you just remember there they are.
The graphics feels dated and the game works on 800x600 screen resolution, which makes some smaller items really hard to spot.
Also the game doesn't work fullscreen on Windows 10. You have to manually set desktop resolution to 800x600 before running the game. You can run it In a windowed mode, but I found it practically unplayable this way - items are just too small to spot.
Simple mistery game. Just love it.

Worst hidden object game I've ever played. It's old, but I think I've played games just as old that were still good. It's almost 100% hidden object scenes. The scenes are very grainy. I don't mind having to lower the resolution for an older game so long as it's still clear enough not to give you a migraine.
I think the developers couldn't have spent more than about two weeks developing this one.
If it were on sale for 99 cents, I still wouldn't recommend it.
Note: I played the latest Mystery Case Files game from 2019 and it was good (7/10).
This game is such a legendary ones. It is very nostalgic, remembering that this was one of the game i have been played before. It works great here in steam and I love it!!
I like this MCF the best because it has just enough story to entertain, but is mostly hidden object without a lot of puzzles that they never explain. I like hidden objects without the other stuff.
A true classic Mystery Case Files, Prime Suspects, builds on what the series does best. Continue through the game to find who stole the diamond! Hunt and peck your way through several messy locations and dig up the dirt on the underbelly of this city. Replayability is at its max on this one, I continue to play this game to this day. Another keep in my book and should be in yours too!

Another classic HOG. The culprit changes every time you play. I have fun trying to guess who the thief is before I reach the end. I wish they had made more HOGs like these.
A nice short HOG game. Decent locations and various puzzles when you've found everything. My only real beef with this one is I couldnt make it work in fullscreen. Otherwise its a nice game to pass the time.

This game has cool graphics and also funny storyline. The characters are funny too. Puzzles in the game aren't difficult, but final puzzle was challenging.

An eye spy game that isnt in a magazine or kids book which all are amazingly fun. Even though its just looking for objects on a list its a good use of time if you are doing absolutely nothing for around 30 minuets. I've only known these Mystery Case Files games existed when a relative (specificly a grand-parent) gave me a game 'Mystery Case Files: MillionHeir" with knowledge of it being a eye spy game which is the actual first time I've done eye spy alone and stayed busy. I've played through it multiple times and never got bored after the fact and I still play it on a new device as well as this game on this computer. Its just fun to find things... the only problems I have is not knowing a few of the objects on the spot but nothing a bit of google search helps sometimes. Is worth money to pass time.

I enjoyed Huntsville, but this one not at all. I love Hidden Object games and play a lot. There is some sort of story here, but the problem is that the graphics are really terrible. Many of the objects are very small and and most of them are just plain ugly. Maybe this would be good for someone who is really looking for something creepy, but even then the example images above are not at all representive of what you are going to see in game and most of the sites you have to search are very very grainy. That is what really takes all the possiblity of fun out of the game.

Наконец-то нашёлся человек, который подсказал мне правильное колдунство. Всего-то пять лет пришлось подождать. На NVidia ставишь самый первый 3Д-параметр - "увеличение резкости" - в Off, а вот "масштабирование ГП" как раз On - и вуаля, всё работает! Ну, только совместимость с XP экзешнику поставить, а то он закрывается нехорошо.
И без идиотского растягивания игра на удивление хорошо сохранилась! Это прямое продолжение первой части по принципу More of the Same: всё тот же поиск преступника (только теперь у вас куча подозреваемых), два вида "финальных" головоломок после нахождения всех предметов этапа (поставить кусочки на место или найти пары), плюс "тёмные" этапы, где виден только круг света (если найти батарейку). Сюжет минимальный - но в итоге у нас чистый геймплей, и это не так плохо, как могло бы показаться. Если не боитесь (растянутого на весь экран) 800х600 - рекомендую.
