Came to goon, stayed for the charm.
A simple, yet pretty world that inspired me as a programmer.
The game seems allround minimalistic, yet PostFX/Shaders, the story and the girls definitely distracted me from that.
Every aspect of the game feels like it got the attention it needed, no dilly-dallying during development, and seemed to hold the framework of a solid future for 3D visual novels where this game shined.
The writing, as Redamz also has stated himself, seems like it could do with a bit of improvement, but I can't harshly judge a free game. I've enjoyed the monsters theme and diving deep into each character (in more ways then one).
For what the future holds, I've seen a few people say this game had so much potential. Although version 0.44.3 did seem to tie up some loose ends, to me, the game did end leaving me wanting more impactful decisions, but more does seem to come.
From the MGI Discord,
[2021] ideas seemed to be to update the Unity game engine, which seemed to require remaking a large portion of the game.
[2023] ideas were to keep working in the old engine to finish it some day, which I personally think could work. Not sure of the limitations of the engine or its work environment, MGI Prologue's graphics and animations to me have absolutely been good enough, and I hope Redamz will see it this way too, despite his perfectionism. I'd love to see this game tied up and released on Steam for a price, which could help fund future projects and build the scale of a development team, fueled by Redamz creativity, perhaps delagating animation work for all the dating, hopefully still a few H scenes, and even more pivoting dialogue choices and branching events, that could help keep the spark alive, sees the return of the composer LewdK, finish games and grow to an even larger success.
[2024] plans showed the basis of an infographic/roadmap for smaller simpler and more manageable games, probably in the same universe and reoccuring characters. (working titles) 'Memories', 'Glitch' and 'Isolation' are some of these mentioned games, diving into 3D games (personal preference) using Unreal Engine, which might appear more suited for anime games now than Redamz has stated late 2020. This could come with a quality upgrade of graphics, models, animation and writing. 'MGI Saga' on the other hand seems to be focusing on worldbuilding in RPG Maker with simple 2D pixel graphics and more game elements.
I don't expect Triple-A quality and I hope the craving for it doesn't impede the development process. No matter the direction, I'm hooked in the universe and stoked for the future!

Furthermore, I don't even remember the number of projects abandoned simply because the creator started doing something else or milking people's Patreon money, because they all end up forgotten, without money, without success, without a name. I think this is the best H game I've ever played. Gameplay itself can be a bit of a fetch quest, but everything else is pretty good. All of the girls are great and H scenes are incredibly good and even give you some freedom of choice in what activity will take place between you to.
I would absolutely love to see this game continue to be worked on.

Okay, first off... I absolutely hate how much is driven into the main protagonist of the game. Almost every, single, character, hates you. It makes it so hard to even want to do the quests if every time you finish one, you're seen as a wimp and a useless human. Then that brings me to the second problem, the story progression. It is so slow and hard to understand what is going on. Its barely even stated that the main character died and was put into another life on this island with monster girls. I understand that is game is most likely forgotten and dead, but why leave it in such a state of annoyance? Make a game that has a entertaining story, good character development, good progression, and if its a NSFW game? Give it scenes!

The game is abandonware. It's due to never be finished. The last hint of an update was 2024, saying how any finished content would be added in a final update that, to my knowledge, was never added. Supposedly the dev is working on something new, but I haven't seen any hint of that anywhere either.
Dunno if it's worth your time or not, considering you'll run out of things to do rather fast. But eh. It was an okayish diversion for a couple hours if nothing else.

Прикольная игра, так ещё и за БЕСПЛАТНО, хорошие анимации диалогов, интересный сюжет.
Из минусов выделю графику, если честно не очень, но за цену в БЕСПЛАТНО, это вполне играбельно.
Так же советую сразу скачивать с патреона версию, ибо в стиме 4 глава не работает.

Lets start from the beginning, One day I was just browsing the steam store page and was viciously horny, while surfing through steam, I came across Monster Girl Island. While at first I thought this was some slop hentai game, as i clicked on the store page I saw numerous amounts of positive reviews and decided to give it a shot. Having a raging boner is not for the weak and I was desperate for some sort of release. When I first opened the game and started a new game, I was delightfully greeted with a beautiful Robot girl with an amazing body who you come to later know as Ophelia. After seeing that design and the physics of this game, I was instantly hooked. I kept on playing making sure to watch all cutscenes thoroughly and pay attention. What I first thought was a quick release to let go of my built up nut actually became a an AMAZING story experience that kept me wanting more. The novelty of the quests and various apps you gain access to really adds to the experience of playing this game. I was so mesmerized by the story by the end I didn't even have to need to jerk off! This is the type of gameplay that people would pay $100 for but Its free on Steam!!! While I really enjoyed playing through this game and watching all the lewd cutscenes (Which I had a rager while watching) unfortunately the game ended too soon. The game does say Prologue so I should of expected it, but I cant help but yearn for more. One day i hope the devs can revisit this game as I feel they have abandoned a timeless masterpiece. Throughout my next playthroughs I will make sure to take full advantage of all those sexy scenes as I already know the story, I whole heartedly recommend this game to anyone looking for a fun time and a captivating story that will keep you on your toes.

The game fails mostly on Game Design.
On the 2nd Dream ? You goto a Japanese location all purple. Have walked to every corner of this empty level, clicked every door, and there's nothing else to do. Not sure if the game broke, or you're supposed to do something else? But it's totally not obvious if you are, and it just seems like the game has come to a dead end, so I'd uninstall based on that alone.
There's not really much in it so far anyway, other than collecting crabs for a cat girl who lost them. Once that's done, you reach the dead end Japan Dream.
Good game, there should be more games like this.

однозначно рекомендую к прохождению, но наверное стоит знать всем тем кто в нее еще не поиграл, что игра никогда не получит обновление (смотрите в обсуждениях почему), однако все таки, даже будучи незавершенной, заслуживает внимания, в том числе и без NSFW.
В меру простовата, но от этого и прекрасна, сюжет интересный, уникальный как для своего жанра игры, персонажи запоминающиеся, из минусов разве что левел-дизайн и отсутствие перевода (на любые языки кроме исходного (англ))
Молимся на выпуск обновления (ну или хотя бы отзыва от разраба)
Определённо рекомендую, но скорее даже не из за NSFW-сцен, а просто потому, что игра реально хороша. Вы кстати можете даже специально избегать подобных сцен, вам всегда дают выбор действия (почти), и не сложно догадаться какой вариант ведёт к одному, а другой к той самой сцене.
Вот, что мне оочень не понравилось, так это тот факт, что в игре есть ограничение на кол-во сохранений, но при этом нельзя просмотреть уже просмотренные ранее сцены. Если создавать игру с жанром "хентай" и ограничивать кол-во возможных сохранений, то должна присутствовать функция "Галерея", любители подобных игр знают что такое "Галерея" (Gallery). Спасибо хотя бы за 10 сохранений, в которые поместиться ровно 9 сцен, т.к. любой нормальный человек будет использовать последний или 1-й слот для основной игры.
Возможно, если бы игра продолжала свою разработку, то этих проблем в ней не было бы сейчас.

Divertido, tem coisas pra fazer e história interessante. Direção de arte e gráficos muito bonitos, design das personagens também é cativante, e as cenas de "ação" são boas, apesar que relativamente poucas.
Porém, como é só o começo, está bom demais.

one of the worst games ive ever played its just a dumb simp simulator where a bunch of ugly stupid girls with no personality treat you like ♥♥♥♥ and force you to do fetch quests for the first 3 hours but when you refuse them they have the nerve to insult you lie its your fault they cant come up with something better i got so sick of them i didnt even want to ♥♥♥♥ any of them until the dragon lady started talking about some war between human and monsters so i said ♥♥♥♥ this ♥♥♥♥ i want to join the humans and exterminate these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ before they eat us all then the game crashed deleted my only save made the whole game unplayable forever .
