there is little depth in the combat in the brawler. The art, UI, and music are pretty good, but I'm honestly bored to tears playing this game as opposed to dotemu and tribute brawlers. This is much better than that gi joe brawler though, which is a very low bar.

A fun yet short side scroling beat 'm up full of nostalgia for people who grew up in the 90s. CRT graphics are definitly a nice tough and it does somewhat remind me of the SNES power rangers game. Mechanics are simple but work well. Overall game is a bit on the short side, adding in the white ranger as unlockable would have been cool (as a bonus for completing headache difficulty perhaps), as well as the mega dragonzord instead of the megazord in zord battles when playing Tommy; but overall it is a fun game and does seem to continue on the Once & Always Special. Would recommend to buy it on sale, full price is a tad too much for a game this short.

Me ha gustado, tiene variedad en modos de juego durante la historia para ser un beat'em up. Los logros no son especialmente difíciles. Me ha gustado mucho poder jugar con el power ranger verde, aunque hubiera estado más chulo, si hubieran sido algo más diferente el repertorio de golpes entre los personajes, se sienten como un calco.
Muchos pequeños guiños a otros juegos clásicos de la época dorada del mismo género. Me sigue gustando más el Power Rangers The Movie de Mega Drive/Genesis. Pero ojalá saquen más secuelas a este nivel, o un pelín superior. ¡¡A METAMORFEARSE!!

This is an IP that was begging for a brawler and while they brought some pretty solid pixel art and an absolutely ripping soundtrack, they forgot to make the brawler part good and parts of this just feel unfinished.

The move sets are all very basic, the animations and chains can't be interrupted which leads to cheap hits and if you get knocked down in a crowd, you'll likely lose half your health before you can get back up because there's no i-frames. The mechanic the game's named after I will lay down money they ran out of time on before they could fully implement it because it's utterly pointless and other than a neat visual effect, adds no real challenge and it's just a weak gimmick. Each "episode" is punctuated by a change in perspective, where they try to combine Space Harrier and the front-facing levels from Contra with a Punch-Out style boss at the end, except completely forgetting what made any of those things fun in their original forms.

On top of that, it's also over in a little over two hours (and that's if you're playing solo) and while there are multiple difficulties and challenge modes and collectibles to find (none of which are very well hidden), you've seen almost everything when you've done one playthrough. I can't speak to how good the online co-op is because when I played it, there was no population.

I got this cheap in a bundle and it was a fine couple hours for that but the normal asking price is insulting. There are many more modern retro brawlers out there that offer more with better gameplay for less money. Given how much of this game with good but not overly complicated pixel art was outsourced according to the credits, this feels like a project Digital Eclipse had to rush out because they were overextended but had a licensor they had to accommodate.

If you can get it for under $10, you can have some fun. Anything above that, there are better choices.

Sinceramente, não sei o que a galera que avaliou negativamente o jogo esperava.

O maior vacilo, pra mim, é o fato de que a gente só joga com os rangers morfados (tiraram a principal mecânica dos jogos originais de SNES). Além disso, acho que a movimentação pela tela é meio travada e as esquivas não funcionam tão bem. Se for pra ser chato, acrescentaria que os sprites dos personagens poderiam ser mais detalhados; talvez a ideia seja não deixar parecidos demais com os atores pra não precisar pagar direito de imagem keke

Tirando os problemas, as fases são todas muito divertidas, com gráficos daora que se alternam bem entre 2D e 3D e variações de jogabilidade na medida certa. Eu sou daqueles que acham que jogos beat'em up PRECISAM ser curtos, porque são pensados pra você conseguir ir do começo ao fim com os amigos QUANDO rola de reunir a galera (todo adulto sabe o quão difícil é isso). E outra: por ser um gênero simples, quanto mais o jogo se arrasta, mais cansativo fica; isso fica muito claro num queridinho da galera, "TMNT: Shredder's Revenge", que é gigantesco e eu acho que passa bastante do ponto.

No total, são 14 fases que se alternam entre side scrolling tradicional, rail shooters e até um Punch-Out nas lutas com o Megazord — por sinal, tá de sacanagem quem fala que o jogo é repetitivo, e sendo que ele é baseado em um produto que LITERALMENTE repetia o mesmo enredo TODO EPISÓDIO. As dinâmicas são como as da série: primeiro a gente enfrenta os chefes no tamanho normal, depois a Rita solta o cajado e faz eles crescerem.

Parece que é uma regra que a história desses jogos envolva viagem no tempo, mas funciona pra trazer alguns arcos legais. A trilha sonora não é memorável como a dos jogos originais, mas embala legal a porradaria. E os easter eggs relacionados tanto à série quanto aos jogos compensam, sem contar que, finalmente, a gente consegue jogar com o ranger verde e o Dragonzord 😍

Resumindo, só achei que ele demorou pra entrar em promoção, mas é uma ótima pedida quando estiver no precinho. E espero que role uma continuação!

[b][u]PROS[/u]:[/b] Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita's Rewind is a fast paced action title emulating multiple aspects of older Power Rangers games. The standard form of play is a beat 'em up style which, thanks to updates, now has that fast paced action one would want. Some of the stages switch to a rail shooter using one of the ranger's weapons or Zords. The Megazord battle plays out like a first person fighter. The controls are fluid & little animations help sell the different rangers, even if they all play in a similar manner. Though every stage doesn't have a boss, they each have tells for their attacks, making them quite fun to go back & face again. Online play is fun save for one type of stage, with little lag in the controls. The visuals mid game are wonderfully expressive, from characters to background elements. The soundtrack has next to no misses, featuring a heavy rock base & a few creepy tunes behind it. Finally, upon completing the game once, one unlocks the ability to add modifiers to the next playthrough that can make the game easier or more difficult.

[b][u]CONS[/u]:[/b] The Megazord battles are sadly the least impactful sections, having slightly off hit detection. In multiplayer, control switches from player to player, greatly slowing the pace down. Besides that, there are three arcade games in the Juice Bar that are a small distraction, but aren't the most fun. Finally, there's no way to change difficulty or modifiers once the file has started, locking old files out of the modifiers & locking new ones in.

[b][u]ACHIEVEMENTS[/u]:[/b] This list is actually quite simple. A chunk of achievements are unlocked for completing the game the first time over. The challenge achievements can be easily cleared by either paying attention to one's surroundings or using the modifier to defeat all enemies, including bosses, in one hit. This also trivializes the harder difficulties, though they can obviously be played without said modifiers for more of a challenge. I'd argue the hardest ones are To The Top for getting a 75-hit combo without getting hit & Green With Envy, an achievement requiring a defeat of the Green Ranger taking no damage. The Green Ranger reads a few of your attacks, so beating him still requires some skill.

[b][u]FINAL[/u]:[/b] Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita's Rewind has been tuned into a much better game than at it's launch, living up to a new standard in the modern age of beat 'em ups. Though some of the gameplay ideas weren't perfectly realized, the fast paced action & replayability really make the game one to go back to. Well worth a buy thanks to the patches.

Its very fun and entertaining. Combat feels good, megazord slaps. Just keep in mind story mode can be beat under 3 hours so better get it on a sale and simply enjoy some nostalgia of the OG Power Rangers.

I'm saying this as a huge Power Rangers fan and also of Beat-em ups, I can not reccomend this game at full price to anyone but the most die hard PR fans, and maybe only if you like beat em ups. Beat em up fans, maybe if you're starving for a new game, but even then wait for a sale. That's the TLDR of it but I'll explain further if you're curious.

It's not a bad game, but it has annoying enough mechanics and just not quite enough polish to warrant $50 Canadian Dollars in my opinion. I will say that it seems like there have been improvements post release. Possibly I've got a Mandela effect happening here, but if I'm not, some criticisms I had on release have been addressed. The rangers have more distinct animations for example, again unless I'm just misrememebering.

There remains the issue of the Zord sequences being overly long and kind of too hard. Like, the beat em up sections are pretty fun on normal but then the Zord sequences are a huge jump in difficulty. It's a completely different game mode, a rail shooter, and at first that feels like a fun shake up! But then you have instant death pits and only 2 lives. There are continues, but they start you at the beginning of the levels, which as I mentioned are very long. I am of the opinion that change ups in gameplay for set pieces are generally better if they're relatively easy. If you enjoy the main game mode but then are constantly having to restart a completely different type of game mode you don't like, there's a good chance you'll just want to quit. They can be a fun break from the regular gameplay loop but not if they overstay their welcome, and Rita's Rewind fails at this balance. The Megazord battles are similarly unforgiving, I eventually got the hang of it but I feel the game doesn't teach you the mechanics quite well enough before throwing you in, and I could see that being a barrier to some players.

Now for some very personal nitpicks because why not? Why shouldn't I have a litle treat.

I'm a Kimberly Stan and she is kind of the worst character to play in the beat em up segments, but possibly the best in the Zord segments? You see, Kimberly uses a bow, but instead of making her do cool bow attacks like shooting her bow at all she just hits guys with it. Every other ranger has a really good and area effective finisher to their combo with their melee weapons, but she gives a half hearted bow swing into a kick. I'm not even asking for a ranged attack here, though tbh that would be cool and you could give Trini and Zack ranged attacks too, but I digress. You could just make her do a hop into the air and shoot diagonally down at melee range or something. Billy's Lance has enough range that I feel like you could make an arrow firing animation fit in a similar hit box. It's just so weird to have the bow girl not fire her bow, not even for her screen clearing special. She makes an arrow firing animation, but only AFTER the pink shots rain down, its almost insulting to me lmao

NOTA: Só peço para a Digital Eclipse repensar os seus conceitos em não ter feito parceria com criadores de conteúdo Brasileiros, sei que é o direito de vocês mas não precisam ser mesquinhos.

O game em si, não tive problemas, consegui me divertir, o sistema de conquistas do game não são dificeis, em 5 horas platinei o game.

Espero que o game não termine por aí. o game esta perfeito para receber diversas DLCs.

没有中文，如果不是美版恐龙战队的粉丝的话，剧情基本上全靠猜。（真的国内有人看过美版恐龙战队吗……这部特摄剧也太小众了……）而且我其实是奔着横版清关游戏才入手的，结果里面有一大部分关卡都在开机甲。我打架可能也就打了十分钟。问题是开机甲的部分是第一人称视角的，不仅难打，而且加上这种显像管滤镜，还有点让人晕3D。不太适合我这种纯路人，比较适合粉丝。我觉得开场主角们摆poss这一步都看得我有点尴尬。

The mixed reviews are because this game is priced way too high at RRP. But some of the reviews saying it should be $5 are ridiculous (cheapskates lol)

Bought for less than $10 elsewhere and it's a really fun game. Really itches that beat em up retro feeling, with a mix of arcade feeling mini games, that breaks up the repetitive nature of beat em up gameplay. Animations and soundtrack are fantastic!

If you can get it for $10 or less, very worthwhile getting. I actually think it's more fun than the recently released Marvel Cosmic Invasion, though not as good as Streets of Rage 4.

This is a pretty solid beat em up with some flaws. My biggest complaints about the game is the Megazord battles, while a great idea, have a terrible execution. Fortunately, you can't fail them, but they get super frustrating. Especially the late game ones. They throw more and more at you and the timing of the attacks do not match up with the timing of your dodges. You can dodge the first attack easily but if you get bad luck, your Megazord will move straight into the second attack with no time to dodge. In addition to that being a problem in the Megazord fights, you also run into that with standard boss battles. None of the bosses feel very well balanced. There's also not really any difference between characters.

The general game play is still really fun though. I love playing beat em ups in co-op and this one was still a blast. The progression through each stage was always fun. The music was also awesome from beginning to end. There were some flaws, particularly around the bosses, but the overall game was still enjoyable.

I don't recommend buying this game unless discounted to like 5 bucks or less.
It's HYPER FUN and COOL, just by far too little actual content for the price and they even spit you in the face by reusing levels in late game. Looks like they got a great dev team, but dedicated too little budget towards the actual content.

If this game had either cost $5 or been 2-3x as long with the same level of quality and cost under $19.99 without a discount, I'd recommend the hell out of it.

I'm a nostalgia junkie for MMPR and have been wanting this game for a while but the mixed reviews had me hold off until it was on sale, like many of you. I got it on Humble for 20 bucks and played through the first three levels:
It's incredibly cool and extremely faithful to the first (and best) season of MMPR and also ties in slightly to Once and Always.

Tons of deep cut references (devs were obviously fans of the show)
Beautiful pixel art that's one foot in the traditional style and one foot in the nu-style.
Arcade style digitized voices.
Bulk [b]AND[/b] Skull.
PIXEL ERNIE.
Tengu Warriors!
Star Fox-esque individual Zord battles.
Punch-Out-esque Megazord battles with aesthetically pleasing 2.5D style.
Responsive controls.
Simple and fun but with plenty of challenge if that's what you're looking for.
Online Play!
Unbeknownst to me before I bought it on Humble, it had an update a week ago that adds stats to the rangers you can upgrade. Cool!

I really have no idea why so many people give this mixed or bad reviews.
This is EXACTLY the kind of game I wish they made when I was but a wee lad (Didn't have a Super NES/Genesis for the old belt scroller but had that crappy Zeo Pinball game for PS1 lol).
Like in the 90's this is exactly what I dreamed of, crazy I had to wait almost 30 years to play it.

It is honestly baffling to me how hard people are on this game, this is a lot better than it has any right being.
For 20 bucks, absolutely worth it. For 35....you would still have a lot of fun with it if you love MMPR.

Definitely the best Power Rangers video game made thus far, you nerds need to relax.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind lands squarely in the “know what it is and do it well” category, and honestly, that works in its favor. The core gameplay is fun and satisfying, especially when it leans into the classic left-to-right beat ’em up formula. Punching through putties, juggling enemies, and clearing screens feels good in that old-school, arcade-bred way that doesn’t need layers of complexity to be engaging. It understands its roots and plays to them confidently.

Not every stage style clicked for me personally. The Zord stages and the roller coaster sequence weren’t my favorites, though that comes down more to preference than execution. The controls themselves are solid and responsive. My annoyance mostly comes from any section that asks me to move a cursor around the screen with a gamepad. That’s just a style I’ve never loved. Even so, those sections are competently designed and controlled well enough that I pushed through them without real frustration.

A lot of negative reviews focus on the game being too short, too simple, or not living up to what it “could have been.” I don’t really agree. What’s here feels like enough, especially for the kind of game it wants to be. On top of that, the replayability is stronger than it first appears. The various modifiers and difficulty tweaks effectively create a New Game Plus-style experience, letting you swing the challenge wildly in either direction or fine-tune it somewhere in between. For a nostalgic beat ’em up that delivers tight gameplay and respects your time, Rita’s Rewind hits its mark.

A minha recomendação é pagar em promoção abaixo dos 50 conto, pois o jogo tem curta duração.

Seguindo o sucesso recente de Tartarugas Ninja, o jogo revive a era clássica de Power Rangers no estilo 16 bits, trazendo também elementos que não tivemos na época, como as batalhas de Megazord. Minha principal reclamação, além da curta duração, é a ausência de gameplay com os personagens sem estarem morfados. Como bonus o game ainda desbloqueia o Ranger Verde. Se você gosta de jogos do estilo “briga de rua”, é uma boa indicação.

The difficulty curve is not a very well shaped curve, also this game feels like it punishes you for playing it solo sometimes, the rangers often feel samey, overall though, music is great, artwork is phenomenal and the game IS a good time, it's just kinda unfair to solo players at times. I'd say get it on a sale so you dont feel like it's money wasted if you end up feeling let down

This Is a 10/10 for me no kidding, yeah maybe the game frooze a bit here and there but It did worked well and I had a bit of problem to play in co-op with remote play at the beggining but It went down fine later on and I was able to play It with more people! This Is a game that honours the rangers Legacy and there's so much love in this game, too bad it's too short I confess, but man, MY OH MY! The Megazord fights, the bike and zords levels were just outstanding, I see myself going back to this game more than often, I did liked the Marvel Cosmic invasion and the Ninja Turltles one (and I'm a sucker for Ninja Turtles), but I will have to say that THIS GAME COMPLETELY SOLOS THOSE TWO, they made a 2.5 2D/3D game with Power Rangers with everything you should expect It to have, I think the Marvel and Turtles could also have been taken to another level, not that they ain't cool but there was so much more they could've added, but that's just my impression from the game.

На самом деле очень плохо. Скудная боёвка, одинаковые противники, и зачем-то испортили и без того сомнительный битэмап, НАПОЛОВИНУ разбавив его однообразными шутемапными уровнями с видом со спины и абсолютно уродливым и богомерзким боксом с тем же видом, когда дают поиграть за зорда. Если бы не эти очешуительные гей-дизайнерские решения, то из этого могла бы получиться хотя бы игра уровня новых Черепашек-Ниндзя. Финальный босс-файт с Робо-Ритой я вообще не понял и прошёл только каким-то чудом. Играл на изи и конты были бесконечные, но к концу боя уже настолько стало гадко, что повторять его заново не хотелось. Почему палец вверх в итоге? Потому что я люблю олдскульные битэмапы и очень люблю классических Рейнджеров. Если топить подобные игры в отрицательных отзывах, то больше мы подобного можем не увидеть. А ещё потому что игра выглядит гораздо лучше, чем Streets of Rage 4. Справедливо, думаю. Но к покупке рекомендовать не могу, и своих немалых для такого исполнения денег игра точно не стоит.

- Жанр гри [u]бітемап[/u], та [u]частково сайдскроллер[/u] (сподіваюсь написав правильне визначення).
- [u]5 грабельних персонажів[/u]. [spoiler]Взагалі їх 6, але останній зелений рейнджер відкривається після проходження основної гри.[/spoiler]
- [u]Персонажі[/u] крім як візуального вигляду та анімацій ударів, абсолютно [u]нічим не різняться[/u], вони прям одинакові.
- [u]Система покращень та прокачування[/u] персонажів, в кожного рейнджера прокачка своя. Можна завдяки очкам отриманим за рівень покращувати Силу, Захист та Швидкість. Та все ж я не побачив ніякої різниці між прокаченим персонажом та нульовим, здається це фігня якась.
- [u]Контенту мало[/u]. Вороги одноманітні, відмінності в них дуже посередні, хтось літає, а хтось бомби кидає.

[b]Сюжет:[/b]
- В грі представлено [u]15 рівнів[/u], з різними рівнями складності, пошуком секретів, та грою на час.
- Чогось серйозного тут не чекайте бо це старенькі добрі серіальні павер рейнджери (ті які перетворюються в динозаврів, і склааються в одного мегазорда, чи як там його).
- [u]Дуже коротка гра[/u]. Це зазвичай виступає в мене плюсом, але не в цьому випадку.

- Дуже не сподобалось те як екран труситься майже після кожного удару по ворогу.

I don't know how the game was at launch but its current state I can recommend (when its $20 or less). Solid gameplay and fun story with enough differences between how each character plays to warrant a few playthroughs. took me about 12 hours to beat the game with all 6 characters and the harder difficulties with 1 character (some of that time was spent with the game paused while I ate and such)

GREAT GAME
The game is pretty solid (and very similar to the TMNT one) I love the the pixel/3D style it has and the rounded screen makes you feel it's an old game but in a good sense.

The game is too short and offers little to no replay value. The beat em up levels are fun enough, but then any enjoyment is killed by the boring, repetitive bike/zord sections. Megazord fights are janky punch-out like affairs.

Fans of the original Power Ranger series are in a for a pretty decent time. As a side scrolling beat 'em up, the game is fine. One thing that I think the game missed an opportunity on is the leveling system. After each stage, you earn points and can power up your character if you reach a certain amount. My problem with this is that it makes everyone feel too similar. They each have 3 stats to upgrade (strength, speed, defense) and they can all, eventually, have no real difference in how they play. I would have liked to see the leveling system give each ranger different moves or special skills. I played as all the Rangers and (other they their super moves) I did not notice a difference in play style which is very disappointing. The best beat 'em ups make each playable character feel unique with their pro's and con's and learning them makes for an enriching experience.

One minor issue I have with the game is the presentation. During the cutscenes, the Rangers all have the same pose regardless of what they are saying. And the cutscenes are not voiced, which isn't a really big deal, but it would have made for a better experience.

Otherwise, the game has a pretty good soundtrack and the pixel graphics are beautiful. Many of the effects are a joy to witness. Fans of the original Power Ranger series should check this out.

Поиграв сразу через 2 дня после релиза marvel cosmic invasion с другом, любителем всяких битэмапов, мы решили, за что вы хейтите рейнджеров ублюдки? Кроме цены, докопаться не до чего. Геймплей норм. Тебе не дают устать от однообразного геймплея. Тут тебе классический битэмап, потом гонки, потом скроллер, а в конце дают по очереди втащить боссу мегазордом под музычку от которой член стоит как башня (если вы конечно так же как и я вставали 20 лет назад в 7 утра и смотрели по рен тв могучих рейнджеров). Хейт необоснованный, кроме цены. Дороговато да. Но если ты 30-ти летний дед алкаш, и друзья у тебя такие же, то покупать надо

O trailer do jogo engana pela arte pixelada e a nostalgia, ainda que, os beat'em ups antigos da franquia, tanto do Mega Drive quanto do Snes não sejam grandes coisas.

As fases são bonitas, mas os inimigos são bem repetitivos, e as fases de moto, de nave e as batalhas com o Megazord são muito limitadas, além do que os comandos não respondem tão bem assim nelas.

Os Rangers só tem a arte dos especiais diferentes (mesmo dano) e a maioria dos golpes são padronizados, sem uma característica específica para cada um deles, gerando um motivo para os escolher, sendo o único motivo de escolha a cor deles ou o seu animal preferido na formação do Megazord.

No geral, é um jogo meia boca, mas tinha potencial para ser bem melhor, do mesmo jeito que foi o da franquia das Tartarugas Ninjas, um dos melhores beat'em ups já feitos. Não vale o preço sugerido, ainda que eu tenha pago 35% a menos em uma promoção.

This game is still worth a play BUT WITH WARNINGS!

This felt like playing a game that was REALLY trying to channel those old beatemup IP arcade games. The combat is VERY simple, the closest thing to compare it to is probably the Xmen arcade game, although you could argue this is better since it has a bunch of 2D pretending to be 3D sections.

As someone's first beatemup or for a bit of short fun? Sure go give this a try. But I also beat this in 2.2 hours... if you're going to get it only do it on a sale because this thing is overpriced AF.

Para un tío que nació en el 90 y que veía los Power Rangers de pequeño es toda una joyita que te pega fuerte en la nostalgia. Es todo lo que un fan espera de un juego beat'em up de esta serie, y mucho más divertido si le juegas con amigos. Morphenomenal, after 10.000 years finally a new Power Rangers Game that is not mobile or pvp.
The Game had a rocky start being unbalanced but, after some updates it is better than i hoped for.

While the game is fun, it is too short (around 2 hours clock).
The level up system is pointless and resume to be a stat bonus booster aka att - defence - speed, it will not upgrade your combo at any extent and make the ranger not really unique since all ranger will end up full deck which make the base stat system pointless since the game is short.

On rail level while they get some charm, aren't that engaging personnally and make me wish they have stay on the beat me up style instead. Meanwhile the megazord battle while fun, could have use a little more polish and maybe use more of the punch out formula to make the battle more fun but the issue probably come from the multiplayer aspect.

Get the game on discount if you are a fan of the genre or the Power Ranger but don't spend the full price for it.

Basically played the story mode once and never touched it again, did not 100% the game but who wants to run the same stage over and over again just to find a hidden secret or get the no death achievement? The game is $35 for about almost 3 hours of gameplay without spending time trying to 100% the game. Was it worth it? I mean I dont really have the motivation to get on to play more, and online play is pretty much dead no one is ever on and playing, dont expect to find a public party, most likely if you want the co-op experience you'd want a friend to get the game with you. I might revisit if game gets a major update but until then this game is shelfed never to be played by me again, i do not recommend, if you are interested in the story mode just watch a playthru gameplay on youtube.

Ай-яй-яй! Ну вот и прошел на платину эту игру. Так-то сама игра часов на 4-5, но желание взять все ачивки подрастянуло ее на подольше. Итак:
Плюсы:
1. Это классический битемап 16-битной эпохи. Прям классический. Ни больше, ни меньше. Если в детстве приходили со школы и рубились в Streets of Rage или Golden Axe - это вот прям оно.
2. Симпатичная стильная пиксельная графика (только Бога ради, отключите все фильтры в настройках, если вам дороги глаза).
3. В целом очень приятный геймплей. Не только 2Д-уровни, но и разнообразные 3D а-ля нинтендовская MODE 7.
4. Ну е-мое, это ж самые первые Рейнджеры (да-да, я знаю,что фактически это чуть ли не 15 сезон японского шоу, но те самые американские Рейнджеры, которых мы смотрели по РентТВ все равно для меня и почти для всех вас первые). И да, на мой взгляд, это на текущий момент лучшая игра по рейнджерам.
5. Приятная драйвовая музыка.
6. Классные рисованные ролики и заставки.
7. Прикольная идея с мутаторами игрового процесса после прохождения.
8. Удобное дефолтное управление. Крайне советую сразу освоить дэш и двойной прыжок - спасут во множестве ситуаций и помогут взять сложные ачивки.
9. Неплохой фановый мультиплеер.
10. Куча отсылок, пасхалок, персонажей из сериала и т.п. Я не слишком большой знаток лора, но фанаты наверняка будут в восторге

Ну и куда ж без минусов, увы:
1. Немного вязкое управление, конкретно - удары. Это не инпут-лаг, а, видимо, просто медленная прорисовка с кучей кадров анимации. В принципе почти во всей игре это не мешает, но... ноооо... НО ПОСЛЕДНИЙ БОСС И ЕЕ ШАРЫ, КОТОРЫЕ НУЖНО ТОЧНО ОТБИВАТЬ С ИДЕАЛЬНЫМ ТАЙМИНГОМ!!! АЙ-Я-ЯЙ ***!!!
2. Сюжет. Ну, он есть. Не, я понимаю, что в сериале сюжет тоже поворотами и глубиной не блистал, но тут тупо просохатили даже те линии, что заложил пролог к игре. Спойлерить не буду, сами увидите. Ну и концовка в стиле древних 8-битных игр с их GONGLATURATION A GREET HERO на черном экране огорчила. Впрочем, наверное, это задел на сиквел.
3. Странный выбор боссов. Ну Голдар - понятно. А где Бабу, Скватт (ок, они есть как пасхалка, но хотелось бы именно как боссов видеть), Сфинкс и прочие?
4. Рейнджеры довольно несбалансированы. Про Зеленого не говорю, он секретная ультра-имба для "Новой игры+", дается после прохождения, и нужен он только для Headache. И я не о том, что изначально у персов очки раскиданы по-разному, я говорю именно про полностью прокачанных. Персонажи начальной команды явно неравносильны по возможностям из-за разных ударов и особенностей приемов. Лично мои фавориты - Билл (Синий) и Кимберли (розовая, кстати, замечу, что она ультра-имбует в 3D-уровнях на динозордах, потому что летает и может уйти от почти половины угроз, которые на земле, в отличие от других). А вот Черный рейнджер, на мой вкус, абсолютно бесполезен.
5. Уровни на Мегазорде абсолютно, тотально, невероятно бестолковые. Даже бои зордов в древнющей NESовской Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger были разнообразней, хотя такими же дубовыми по управлению. По факту в этих боях нужно делать тольо одно - бежать на врага и метелить его, снова бежать, когда он отпрыгнул, и снова метелить, надеясь на удачу. Забудьте про дэш и увороты - почти бесполезны и медленны. Управление чудовищно инерционное и неуклюжее. Ну да, Мегазорд тяжелый, но не настолько же.
6. У боссов мало паттернов, и они очень предсказуемы, да еще и активация паттерна зависит только от уровня ХП босса. С одной стороны, это позволяет легко их выучить, предсказывать поведение и валить почти без потери ХП после пары-тройки попыток, беря ачивки, с другой - скучновато, особенно если не в первый раз проходишь.

Вердикт? В целом, это именно что обычный среднестатистический битемап года так из 1994. Даже тогда он не стал бы лучшим, потому что геймплейно вчистую бы продул Golden Axe 3, Streets of Rage 3 или Final Fight 2. Чуть выше среднего, 4 звезды из 5. Но как билетик в детство к любимым героям, как ностальгия по той эпохе, как способ попробовать "те самые игры" оно вполне работает. И раз так в полгода-год можно снова запустить и поиграть. Ай-я-яй!!!

Ein Meisterwerk für jeden Power Rangers Fan der 1. Stunde! ♡ (Ich hab es schon auf einer anderen Plattform gezockt und hab es mir jetzt sogar noch in Steam gekauft!)

- Der Style ist fantastisch und wirkt als wäre es ein Arcade Game von früher.
- Die Gegner Vielfalt und liebe zum Detail ist fantastisch... Gegner aus der Serie, dem Film und sogar welche aus neuen Werken, sind alle mit dabei.
- Tommy ist spielbar, samt Dragonzord.
- Viele Easter Eggs für MMPR Fans.
- Der Soundtrack ist bombe.

Es hat etwas gedauert und das Spiel hatte anfangs seine Probleme, die wurden jedoch behoben und das Spiel macht derbe bock.

ABSOLUTE EMPFEHLUNG! ★

Man merkt dass unter den Entwicklern echte Fans dabei waren, weil man die Leidenschaft dahinter regelrecht spüren und sehen kann!

If you A) like beat em ups and B) are a 90s baby, then this is a no brainer. The gameplay and combat is fine, it felt stiff as I was trying to figure it out but eventually felt good. The nostalgia and fan fare side of this game is really well done for the budget title that this is I guess, I appreciated it. Cons: Gameplay loop became repetitive with same structure (no spoilers).
