On a serious note I really loved this game. I wish I had played it more when I had the chance. There were always lots of mini games, bosses and dungeons to do, and the community was very friendly. Also where else would I be able to pull out a musical instrument and play Naruto Sadness and Sorrow when my friend dies in front of me instead of helping them??? Nowhere. Now I will forever have a hole in my heart.

A Great Game to the end
Been playing this game since the first day it released back in 2018. The music creation was the best thing this game has to offer alongside with the other lifestyle. The fact that you can play midi songs through mml format was super nice. This is the first MMO i spent a lot into the instruments and fashion and met so many maplers and new friends. The time I had with this game will forever be within my heart. Despite the many problem this game had, I had a really fun time meeting new friends and playing songs in Queenstown and playing ensembles with my guild! For the first time ever, we pulled a 15 man ensemble which exceeded the capacity you can have in your party (10 max) and not only that, we had GM witnessing it in the end! I'm sad that MS2 has to go but the game really brought old friends and guild friends back for one last performance together and I can't help but feel really happy for all the achievements we gained! Hopelly there will be another MMO like Maplestory 2 in the future!
Its a shame this game shut down. I loved the game, despite its flaws, and since i don't see any private servers for this, the only other way is to play the eastern versions, which from what i've heard is worse. I'll miss this game,
I loved the whole game, it was amazing, I dislike the fact thats they are shutting down the servers instead of leaving them open for the players who really loved the game, it doesn't matter if there is no more updates we just loved playing it together,
Its absolutely ridiculous that the US servers are shutting down. Despite having near to no marketing on the devs part at least in the US. Not really any wonder why the game has a low player base when the game is basically unheard of. Despite that I really enjoyed the game and hope for a return with fixes of some bugs (neither is probably going to happen anyways). The combat is simple but enjoyable with different mechanics and abilities on each class. Also the quests aren't guarded like other MMOs, which really makes me believe the game has a chance to survive if given enough exposure to the public. At the end of the day one review isn't going to change the teams decision. So this game is just going to remain with other wasted titles was fun while it lasted.

Tbh the game itself was pretty nice and enjoyable, despite the trash that ppl talks about it, i never had to buy anything with real money to enjoy the game, it has an interesting story even for each class and the character creation was very nice, not many games give u the option to have nice clothes from the start (like almost no game does that lol bc they want u to buy them) its a shame that its gonna shutdown tomorrow, but nexon was never good at handling games anyway, they're not even gonna shut it down completely, only the global server meanwhile keeping their original asian server alive for who knows how long.
i see people in the game talking about the devs getting ready to shut the game down, i dont want it shut down, i haven really been enjoying the game, so plz dont shut it down despite what people say

Rest In Peace Maplestory 2. I've played since the October 2018 release and had a blast meeting new people and exploring all the content with friends when it would come out. Playing custom music, whether randomly with people coming and going or with friends was always my favorite part. This game was a unique experience for me i'll never forget and I'm super sad to see it get shut-down after all the good times I had.
Here's hoping it makes a comeback sometime in the future, no matter how unlikely.

Well first things first. I know i have played this game for only 2 hours but i like the story line. It's sad that another good game is gone.. Just like Dragons and titans. It was a good game. But it shutted down with no reason AND NOW THIS? EVERYTIME I SEE A GOOD GAME GONE I LITERALLY CRY FOR 5 MINUTES AND THEN JUST IGNORING IT HAPPEND AND GOING BACK TO MY REAL LIFE. I don't recommend it downloading it now. It's shutting down. Go play a diffrent game like Monster legends, Team fortress 2. OH HECK BLOCKADE IS STILL WORKING WHILE THEY GOT NO MONEY FROM IT. WHY ARE KOREANS SO GREEDY SMH. I would like this game to return tbh. Like MapleStory 3. Anyways. Go play some better games like. Monster legends, Team fortress 2, Bloons Td battles, Minion Masters, Orcs Must Die! Unchained, Paladins. Smh Koreans are greedy af.

Had some fun while it lasted, but now the game is gone.
Despite the seemingly active community, the game failed to make a profit and could not sustain itself.
I played this game for 10 minutes. It broke when I tried to launch it the first time and constantly ran in the background, now I have to explain to people why I have 340 hours on MapleStory 2.

El juego tiene aspectos kawaii muy geniales combinados con MMORPG.
Se puede crear contenido propio, personalizar, y cada personaje puede lookearse de muchísimas maneras.
Los eventos siempre traen contenido nuevo, y no hay mucha posibilidad de P2W.
Luego del level cap, disponemos de raids y dungeons grupales siempre con desafíos nuevos, pero que de alguna forma entran en el desafío de necesitar de otros jugadores.
En Korea el juego supo atender a los jugadores, escuchándolos y otorgándoles contenido siempre. De ésta forma que el juego salió en 2014 y aún en 2020 sigue con vida.
En América y Europa la cosa ha sido diferente... Nexon America no ha sabido atender a los usuarios, ni tampoco entregar los contenidos en tiempo y forma. El mejor ejemplo fue el wedding system (sistema de bodas) al que decena de usuarios venían pidiendo inclusive en las transmisiones de Twitch en vivo oficiales de Maple, y decían que lo iban a hacer en tal fecha, siempre posponiendo y nunca llegaron por lo tanto a cumplir lo solicitado.
Numerosas fallas en el equipo y una entrega seca, sin espíritu, simplemente haciendo un copy & paste de la versión Koreana, terminaron en la deserción de la mayoría de los jugadores y por lo tanto en el cierre de un juego que tenía todo por ofrecer.
El juego es bueno, pero la forma en que fue dirigido en America y Europa ha sido una de las mas lamentables, pareciendo más a sobras de un producto ya masticado que cayó en manos de unos productores caprichosos por agregar contenido solo a sus propios deseos.
Remember how this was an exclusive Japan only game for the longest time and we only got it for like a few months before the devs decided to shut it down instead of trying to fix it?

This game is a very nice MMORPG. Graphics are anime-styled but with a style of cuteness. I like to play it as it is really intuitive and the history is really interesting.

Honestly, I maxed out the first week it game out and I was bored. Being bored came from the fact to look good you seriously needed to cough up money vs GMS. In addition, hanging out with people was harder to do, there’s no hene to heneho in and sit down. I don’t blame it for shutting down, it should’ve been released 2015 .. there was a hype.

Un juego "chistoso" y entretenido a mi parecer, sencillo de entender y de avance rapido para hacer las buenas dungeons. Le tengo bastante cariño al juego debido en el tiempo que salio, pude disfrutarlo con amigos.
Lastima que esos tiempos ya no volveran.
if you have a mediocre wifi connection, this game is literally impossible to play, you'll keep disconnecting from their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ servers and teleport back to the beginning over & over & over again. i hated it so much, not to mention the fact that you can barely skip the beginning cutscene meaning that you have to sit through it every time.

I liked the characters that I made but that was it.
I loved this game (past tense because it will soon die because the creator believe that it does not reach our expectations). I hope it will revive one day. It was one of the few 3D, high-quality MMORPGs that had some level of comedy and a limited competition.

it was a good game with a lot of potential when it first came out. early 2019 Nexon went back to their greedy habits and ruined the game cause that is just the greedy scumbags they are. sad to see this game shutdown so soon but not all that surprising after Nexon messed it all up and tons of players left. if anyone is still interested in composing music and wondering where to go to fill that void try Mabinogi. sure it may be a old mmo but it is still alive and probably will be for at least another 5 years or more. lucky Nexon is not stupid enough to screw over the small and loyal Mabinogi community, they don't make much off us but a profit is still a profit. we have a very similar slightly older music composing system and still quite a few active composers and musicians to satisfy your bard needs.

I put 1.2 hours into this game doing tutorial stuff until I read a banner that said it was closing. Was fun while it lasted. Honestly they should have had more in your face warnings that tell anyone joining that this game is closing.
i really want to love this game. i have friends that play and love it. But the controls...i just can't. It's pretty and the game mechanics everywhere else seem great, but the controls are so unbelievably terrible for a game this popular and funded it's ridiculous. I would probably even pay for premium due to the massive content for the game, but instead i'll pass and play something else. There is no mouse aim, so the keyboard controls are just stupid. use only melee or aoe otherwise you're forced to use controller which even that isn't very intuitive.
This game was fun till they decided to scrap it, if you just found this game don't play it'l be defunct in a couple days.

well, so this is a goodbye. I will really miss playing the piano in the hub, expending time with my friends in raids and grinding for op itens. I had such a good time waiting for global bosses, trolling in pvp and building my base. I started playing right in the release and I dont know even now why I stopped playing this wonderful game, sadly it wasnt just me. and then when I think to come back I discover that its shutting. I dont know who to blame, nexon or the players, but I really think Nexon should reconsider closing the game. Im honestly heartbroken.
Maple Story 2 had so much potential, stink to see it go so soon.

O jogo simplesmente não abre, todos o jogos funcionaram perfeitamente como por exemplo: Rocket League, Stardew Valley, mas esse MapleStory 2 me desapontou!. Fiz de tudo para tentar jogar, mas por fim, não abriu o jogo
