З перших хвилин [b]Lost in Random[/b] дуже чіпляє своїм візуалом за стиль похмурих казок Тіма Бертона. Світ, лор та самі істоти тут дуже колоритні та різні, розглядати та розмовляти з ними одне задоволення. До того ж досить комічно спостерігати, як абсолютно всі персонажі у грі [b]помішані на азартних іграх[/b]. Діалоги написані класно і часто викликають посмішку.

По геймплю ви збираєте власну колоду і буквально граєте у настолку під час бою. Перші 2 години битви будуть [b]досить душними[/b], поки ваш кубик може викидувати тільки 1 чи 2. Але щойно йому домальовують нові цифри, вибудовуються просто офігезні комбінації! Наприклад, можна стягнути ворогів у купу, кинути карту на [i]уповільнення часу[/i] і розвалити всіх потужним АОЕ.

Візуально та атмосферно гра - [b]просто анбеливеблс[/b]. Мені вона [b]дуже сподобалась[/b] і залишила по собі крутий післясмак. Треба мати лише трішки терпіння на старті, але цей унікальний арт-дизайн та карткові механіки того однозначно варті. Дуже раджу спробувати і зацінити цей сюрреалістичний вайб!

I watched a play through of this game a few years back and i loved it. I recently just got into playing games like this. This game was so good. It got frustrating at parts where there were different parts to battles and if you died at any point you'd have to start the battle over. A big thing for me was the cards i felt like i couldn't use like half of the cards. Also there is so many side quests. However this game is very well done. The ending of this game made me literally cry. The bond even and odd has is very endearing. The story is very well done also. I recommend this game. This is a game you could get "lost' in for hours.

This was such a fun game to play! the style and voice acting of the characters was fantastic, somewhat reminiscent of Psychonauts with the sense of humor. The narration and story elements were a fantastic addition as well.

Purchased the game. Was super excited however booted the game one time. Played for 0.2 hours. Came back and the game wont launch. Diagnosed and did everything i could think of used AI to assist with diagnosing and fixing the issue. Appears to be a handoff issue from steam to EA app. Game is currently unplayable. Attempted it on multiple PC's and it will not work. Come to find out some friends of mine have the exact same issue. I WOULD NOT PURCHASE AT THIS TIME DUE TO THE GAME BEING UNPLAYABLE. Will adjust my review if they resolve the issue however its likely just going to be a refund.

I’m only about 3.5 hours in and yeah… this is already a top 5 game for me.
I love it. The character designs are super cool, the story hooked me way faster than I expected, and the boss fights are actually fun. The environments are also chef’s kiss, I keep stopping just to look around. This feels like a mash up between the movie corline, resident evil, little nightmaires, and elden ring and i can't stop playing i need help.

a little unpolished in some areas, few story beats felt rushed, combat is intriguing and fun but the game doesn't encourage changing out your deck through different enemy types, etc. also [spoiler]The Narrator getting kidnapped[/spoiler] was a delightful surprise I wished they explored further.

Bellissimo gioco. L'ho scelto inizialmente per le atmosfere Burtoniane del trailer, ma poi mi sono fatta prendere dalla storia, veramente ben scritta. Il mondo creato è davvero magnifico, lo stile di combattimento è originale, i personaggi affascinanti (anche se un po' ripetitivi) e i protagonisti adorabili. Non ho salato neanche un dialogo per sapere tutto il possibile su questo mondo.
Mi è piaciuto molto come alternasse momenti di combattimento con momenti di scoperta dell'ambiente che ci circondava. Ottimo prodotto!

Все началось с того что я начал играть в "Lost in Random: The Eternal Die" и понял что там есть отголоски к этой игре, посмотрев в рунете пара обзоров на игру, коротко говорят сюжет не очень, но скажу так отталкиваться от чужих мнений не стал, да и в принципе если вижу у игры отрицательную оценку это меня ни как не останавливает. Эта игра не стала исключением, с ней были двоякие ощущения.
Игра мне очень понравилась, система боевки необычная но уж очень мне зашла. Сюжет здесь не сказать чтобы ВАУ, но все же имеет место быть, самое главное не забывать что это что то из разряда вселенной Тима Бёртона, мне ну уж очень понравилась эта игра. Меня это игра затянула с головой.
Единственное что не хватает этой игре лично для меня, это полноценной русской озвучки, было бы круто.
По скидке рекомендую 8/10.

Unleses the glitch is taken care of I do not recommend getting it. An interesting and fun game! :D I did find the combat to get repetitive after awhile. I ended up putting the game on easy halfway through just so the enemies were easier to kill and the fights would go by quicker. Aside from that, it is a cute story with fabulous gothic graphics. I bought it because I was looking for games like Alice Madness Returns. Definitely worth the money!❤️

Wonderful game... it's like playing a mix out of a Tim Burton movie and a fairytale.

The artstyle is lovely, the gameplay is innovative and fun, the music is great (it was even fun listening to the ending credits), the story doesn't have live changing twists but it keeps you entertained for the entire time (it took me about 17 hours to do pretty much everything) and the most important thing: it is told with sensitivity - it really creates emotions, which is something a lot of AAA games with objectively "better" cutscenes fail.

There are a few minor things like I was lost in Threedom for quite some time (how fitting for the title :)) because it wasn't clear what I should do at some point. Or another example: Somebody seemed to think it would be a good idea to bind the command for 'back' on the -Backspace-key and there was no option to change it. That was one of the most unintuitive things in my life and almost until the end I always pressed -Escape- instead of -Backspace-.
Why?

But all of these points become meaningless, because the game is so great. There are two more things I want to point out which are especially wonderful.
1. In the end the game becomes even deep (I won't say more). But in way that all questions are answered but there are still some things for me to think about - if I want that. if not - I don't have to and the game is still equally great. But even when I think abount the things the game wants me (or doesn't want me) to think about - it is still me who has to do it! There is no telling me what to think like in other games! Top!
2. The second thing might be one of the most important reasons (maybe THE most important one) the game is so great: The humor!
The game is packed with silly, screwy (is that the right word?!) and weird characters, lines, stories and events which just make it very charming and light hearted. That light-heartedness does not make the plot less exiting but a lot more inviting. Some people may call it childish (and yes it is kinda) but it is a nice counterpart fot the darkness, which such a story definitely needs as well. I don't know how to describe it differently.
A lot of times I felt the same like when I was watching the Harry Potter movies for the first time. And I mean this in the best way possible. 10/10
Play it - you won't regret it!

This was a very nice gaming experience. It has a very unique battle system, great voice acting, and a very good story. The game has a major Tim Burton feel through the whole story like a mashup between Night Before Christmas and Coraline, but cuter.

The battles are a mashup between a Dungeons and Dragons, a card battler, and a straight action fight. This is what makes the game so unique. In a battle you fight in action style to collect crystals. The crystals can then be used to use cards that have weapons, skills and traps. One card might have healing, or a sword, or a bow, or a dashing skill, etc.. Once you have enough crystals you roll your friend "Dicey" and time freezes, and what ever number you roll, that is how many points you have to spend on cards. You can then buy, for example a giant mace and a bow, time unfreezes and you go right back into action battles. This design made this a really fun experience and different to anything else I have played.

Highly recommend if you want a great story, battles, and voice acting. 8.5/10

[i]Lost in Random follows the journey of a young girl named Even, who travels across the strange realms in order to find her older sister, Odd. Odd wasn’t taken by force. Instead, when someone turns 12, they must roll a dice. Whatever number appears decides which realm they’ll live in from then on. For example, Odd rolled a six, which meant she was sent to Sixtopia, the realm where the Queen of Random resides.

Even travels through multiple realms, each with its own story and atmosphere. Along the way, she meets an unknown dice that has tremendous power, chaotic but fair, horrible but beautiful, named Dicey.[/i]

One thing I noticed early on is that the game doesn’t provide an upper minimap. There is a map (actually), but it doesn’t show where your character currently is. Because of this, getting around can feel a bit lost.

The early game might feel boring. At the beginning, Dicey can only roll 1 or 2, which limits the cards you can use. But I quite like the combat system. Even has to destroy crystals using her slingshot, which then grant cards based on the deck you’ve built.

Once you put together a deck that suits your playstyle, combat starts to feel much easier. I didn’t try all type of cards, but my current favorites include [i]Crystal Curse, Sword of Three, Lucky Draw, Bomb / Triplet Bombs, Rulemaster’s Bow, Hammer of Two, and Blink Attack.[/i]

Another thing that helps the gameplay feels interesting is the board game. You'll find these stages a few times, you play on a giant board where each scenario can have different rules or objectives. [i]One dumb but useful one is that adversaries can end up hurting each other. With the right positioning, you can sometimes make adversaries hit their own allies instead of attacking you.[/i]

Саме цим ми й займаємося в Lost in Random — чарівно-химерній пригоді, про яку я мріяла нескінченно довго. І нарешті вона отримала чудовий українізатор від Галицького Розбишаки, тож користуйтеся, донатьте й насолоджуйтеся проходженням рідною мовою.

А насолоджуватися тут справді є чим.

Гра до жаху естетично красива — наче ми пірнаємо в Кролячу Нору, загорнуту в готичні нариси (привіт, Alice: Madness Returns). Кожну локацію хочеться досліджувати неспішно, смакуючи контраст яскравості та тіней. І все це під казкові саундтреки, а деякі пісні у виконанні нпс хотілося переслуховувати по кілька разів.

Геймплей будується на випадковості — ми буквально кидаємо кістку й розігруємо наявну колоду карт. Гра пропонує кілька типів карт і десятки позицій, які можна щедро комбінувати, урізноманітнюючи власний стиль бою. Бо сама бойова система, відверто кажучи, доволі проста: ворогів небагато, вони повторюються й рідко становлять серйозний виклик. Гра нескладна, але можна влаштовувати собі челенджі. Наприклад, відмовитися від бойових карт і атакувати лише бомбами.

Чесно кажучи, іноді гру хотілося назвати дитячою. Саме такі лінійні пригоди я проходила ще у 2008-му, коли в мене вперше з’явився комп’ютер. Досліджуючи кожні куточки локацій, ти швидко знаходиш усі предмети, побічні завдання підсвічуються, а якщо поговорити з усіма нпс — гарантовано отримаєш усі можливі плюшки. Гра не вимагає надмірної майстерності чи 20+ годин проходження, а якщо помилишся — Казкар із задоволенням виправить історію й покаже «як усе було насправді».

Але наратив тут зовсім не дитячий.

Цю гру хотілося скрінити не лише через візуал, а й через сенси, вкладені в майже кожен діалог. Теми сім’ї, самоідентичності, війни. Вона нагадує не нехтувати власною темною стороною, не втрачати себе в жертовності для інших. Що нормально хотіти додому. Нормально почуватися загубленим в цьому світі. Важливо залишатися собою й пам’ятати: єдина людина, яку ми справді зобов’язані зробити щасливою — це ми самі. І що світ ніколи не є чорно-білим.

I swear this is the buggiest game I have played in YEARS. Half my time in this game is waiting on the EA launcher. The other half is playing the same sections over and over because this game has gamebreaking bugs present in the core mechanics, so they can appear at any moment and make it an instant loss for any fight in the game.

There's an unexpected part in the story that would have been kinda funny and pretty cool except I got the achievement for it BEFORE it happened so it completely ruined the surprise and the impact of the moment.

I highly recommend, if you have any interest in this game whatsoever, you go play Lost In Random: The Eternal Die. It's cheaper AND better.

Cool setting and good atmosphere, which unfortunately becomes somewhat repetitive as you progress. Once you pass the third level, you start to see that the game repeats characters and ways of advancing, and you stop finding new cards for combat. Even so, I would recommend it as it was very entertaining to play on the Deck. The combat concept is original and makes it enjoyable, although with poor RNG it can prolong even the simplest battles.

В цілому, я б поставила нейтральний відгук. Гра приємна естетично, допоміжні квести цікаві, всі різні і не надоїдають. Також незвична механіка боїв, від цього гра є захопливою. Але основний сюжет розчарував, точніше якась недоробленість. Кінцівка взагалі зіпсувала усе враження про гру. З урахуванням містичності і загадковості самої гри і фінал очікуєш таким же, а виявляється все набагто простіше. Пройти один раз можно, як мінімум заради візуалу.

This game isn’t for everyone, but I enjoyed it a lot.

The main draw of this game is, of course, the Tim Burton-esque claymation artstyle. I wish everything in my life had this artstyle. The creators went on to make The Midnight Walk, which is just as gorgeous.

Underneath the beautiful artstyle is a very compelling story. This is mostly a story game with some combat encounters in it.
The first hour of the game is quite slow and you don’t really get a good feel for the combat until quite a while into it. The combat system is a mix between real-time combat, deck building, and dice rolling. It’s a unique system, but in its current state would get very boring if the game lasted any longer than it does. The game is the perfect length in this regard.

A positive about this game that’s special to me is that it scratches a very specific itch that I get sometimes that has to do with very linear level progression. Your character literally moves through sequentially number-themed levels (Onecroft, Two-Town, Threedom), all the way up six at the end of the game. Your character also gets literal number-themed upgrades to match the number of the area you’re in. It just feels good

At the end of the day, what makes this game worth your time is that it’s full of soul and, if was a movie instead of a game, would be on par with movies like Coraline and Corpse Bride.

100% Achievement Completion Perspective:
Most achievements are missable. If you don’t follow a guide, you’re likely to miss quite a few in the late game and if you miss them, you can only get those if you restart the whole game. The game is short, but the gameplay loop isn’t compelling enough for me to enjoy a second playthrough, so I had to be careful I wasn’t missing anything. Not a particularly fun one to 100%.

[h3] 🎲 A Charming, Tim Burton-Inspired Adventure [/h3]

The character design was easily one of my favourite parts of the game. Every character feels distinct and weird, with exaggerated features and unusual proportions. Each kingdom has its own personality reflected in the people who live there, so you’re constantly running into strange but memorable faces. It gives the world a handcrafted, storybook feel that kept me interested the whole way through.

The narrator adds a lot of charm too, with dry, slightly dark humour that fits the game’s tone really well.

Combat mixes real-time action with a card and dice system, which felt pretty unique. Building your deck as you progress is satisfying, and deciding when to roll Dicey adds a fun bit of tension. It can get a little repetitive later on, but the creativity and story kept me invested.

I really enjoyed completing this game. It’s a fairly short experience, which makes it a nice, focused adventure that doesn’t drag on.

The concept and art is very cool, the combat is very interesting and fun, but the game itself gets very repetitive. You go to a different town with the exact same 5 npc models and have to do some quests to be able to move to the next one. I find it disappointing and kind of a waist of potential. Ви ніби потрапляєте в один із анімованих світів Бартона. Тут дуже точно передано характерну візуальну естетику, кольорову гаму та дизайн персонажів.
У грі відчувається своєрідний готичний стиль. Він не базується виключно на темних кольорах — навпаки, тут присутня така «прекрасно-жахлива» естетика. Колірна гама часто спирається на різні відтінки фіолетового, теплі жовті тони, м’які рожеві відтінки, та й темні кольори також присутні.

[h3] Механіка гри [/h3]
Ми озброюємося рогаткою — це наша своєрідна базова зброя. Вона не завдає шкоди ворогам, зате допомагає накопичувати енергію для подальших дій. Згодом у нас з’являються кубик і карти, і бойова система починає нагадувати настільну гру: кидаєш кубик — і залежно від того, яке число випаде, можеш використати карти з відповідною валідністю з різними ефектами.

Вдосконалення бойової системи відбувається через придбання нових карт і поступове покращення Кістика. Це розширює можливість в бою та відкриває нові тактичні варіанти.

Саундтреки підтримують стиль Денні Ельфмана — композитора, який часто співпрацює з Тімом Бартоном. Водночас відчувається й суттєва різниця: у грі, на мою думку, трохи бракує яскравих, виразних композицій або пісень, які легко запам’ятовуються.

[h3] Загальні враження [/h3]
Як людина, яка обожнює анімаційні фільми Бартона, я була просто в захваті, граючи в Lost in Random. Ти ніби потрапляєш в один із тих казково-готичних світів. Розробники справді зробили чудову гру.
Це один з тих проєктів, від яких важко відірватися, а після проходження з'являється бажання пройти гру знову.

Oyun çok az Psychonauts vibe veriyor. Tatlı bir oyun oynarken ara ara sıkılsam da bi şekilde başında tuttu beni. Oyunsuz dönemlerde akar gibi. Oyunun hikayesinden bahsedeyim biraz. Random adında hayali bir dünyada geçiyor hikaye. İnsanlar 12 yaşına bastığında zar atarak hangi sınıfta yaşayacaklarına karar veriliyor. Biz de kardeşimizin bu zar oyununda 6 lık bir insan olduğunu görüp götürüldüğüne şahit olunca kardeşimizi kurtarmaya karar veriyoruz. Oyunun combat kısmında kart kullanarak güçler ve silahlar elde ediyoruz ve aynı zamanda gerçek zamanlı bir aksiyonu var, bence güzel bir karışım olmuş ancak tam istediklerini verebilmişler mi emin değilim bir şey eksik gibi. Neyse ya oynanır indirimde bir bakın.

Во-первых, это чертовски красиво. Каждый кадр - словно произведение искусства! Серьезно, я готова была делать скриншоты каждую минуту.
Во-вторых, механика борьбы увлекательная: собирай кристаллы, чтобы накопить "заряд", бросай кубик и выбирай карточки, которые нужны тебе в этом бою. А еще между боями важно не забывать пересоставлять колоду. Карточки разные: защита, атака, читы) Мне очень полюбились карточки на дэш - делаешь уклонение в сторону противника и тем самым наносишь урон и сносишь кристаллы.
Сюжет трогательный, все встречающиеся герои очень крутые. В диалогах иногда реально важен твой выбор. [spoiler]Ты можешь принести Барону его игрушку, тогда он даст тебе вещь взамен, или ты можешь ему пригрозить и он отдаст ее так) [/spoiler]

Единственное, что мне не понравилось в игре - управление. Even очень неповоротливая во время бега, поэтому на узких тропинках было тяжко. Выход из магазина только на backspace, как сохранить колоду сразу - тоже не очень понятно.

If you do not care about achievements this game is amazing, the story is rich and there is much to do and worlds to explore. Even more so than the worlds, is the mechanic that allows you to fight. It is a dice, which stores cards for you 15 in total, when you collect crystals during battle it unlocks cards, allowing you to roll the dice and choose your fate. In which all is fair and random, however if you do care for achievements such as I, then a chapter replay option is deeply needed because they do not have one and if you miss any one thing, you must restart the entire game over again.

Conceptul, ideea din spatele jocului e buna, dar executia e foarte slaba si se vede ca e doar un indie game...
Singurele lucruri care mi-au placut a fost stilul de combat si oarecum oraselul al 3lea, Threedom. In rest nimic.
Inceputul jocului a fost ciudat si slab pana ajungi in Threedom si dupa iar slab/mediocru...
Povestea e foarte ciudata, nu asta ar fii problema, dar modul in care e expusa lasa de dorit, cel putin pe mine ma plictisit groaznic acele conversatii slabe si interminabile... Sfarsitul, sa zicem ca, a salvat putin dar tot slab a ramas.
Gameplay-ul e extrem de limitat si nu ma refer la combat, ci la partile de explorare, foarte multe ziduri invizibile care te impiedica sa explorezi in liniste. Partea de combat a fost oarecum faina, cartile de joc si zarul, ceva mai unic. Dar nu mi-a placut ca e destul de limitat si greu de accesat alte carti noi, trebuie sa cumperi aceleasi carti pe care le ai doar pentru a avea o sansa sa deblochezi altele noi, si asa sansa e foarte mica sa primesti ceva nou.
Mi-a placut ca a avut suport pentru controlerul de Ps4, dar nu mi-a placut ca nu am avut obtiune de dezactivare a vibratiilor...
Grafica e si ea slabuta, mai ales textura, are un concept interesant dar nu pot zice ca mi-a placut in mod special.
Pe partea de sunet e destul de slab, mai ales la voice acting, iar acel narator e plictisitor...
Per total am fost dezamagit, oarecum, ma gandeam ca e ceva mai bun fiind in colaborare cu EA, dar e doar un Indie Game mediocru. Celalalt joc de la ei, Fe, mi-a placut mai mult.

Tim Burton / Coraline aesthetic-like world where you go on an adventure as Even to save your sister Odd. I love the whole lore of every Kingdom and the people there have their own unique traits and personalities. It felt as if I jumped right into the world and the voice acting made the whole experience very immersive.
Gameplay wise is pretty fun to roll the dice to get the energy/mana for the cards and you get to equip different weapons etc. Overall worth on a heavy discount.

Interessantes Action Adventure mit Herz. Das Spiel hat einige gute Ideen und Konzepte hat aber mindestens genauso viele Probleme. Okay, this was a GREAT game. I just stayed up all night (with a fever, f this winter guys) to unlock all achievements. While I was frustrated with how long it took, I enjoyed this game greatly. The art style is a wonderful mix of grungy, Tim Burton-y claymation-yet-animated. The vast range of characters and their unique personalities and traits were incredibly impressive. The lore, phenomenal! The story was just amazing, and I actually really like the gameplay and fighting, which I'm normally bad at. One of my favorite games ever is Franbow, and this is like a less gory, longer, fighting version of it and I really did enjoy it.

The only faults I can point out are the auto-save, while I do love an auto-save because my computer is ♥♥♥♥ and crashes a lot, I am also a completionist, and we love a custom save to go back to so we don't have to replay the game for 1 single achievement (thank you, Mr. Shadowman). There are some bugs with the vase/rock things respawning and such but I honestly benefited from that so I'm not complaining.

Overall, I'd give it a 7.8/10, definitely play if you have the time!

This game is amazing, I really really enjoyed it. It's full of adventure, weirdness, and hilarity; it is cute, creepy, mind-bending, fun, funny, adorable, sweet, emotional, poetic, and full of character(yes it is all of those in one, kinda like Alice in wonderland). I hope they come out with another game like this or maybe a prequel to this like, I would love to play a game about the No Dice War specifically or about the Queen. I'd even love a sequel! There's tons to explore, hidden secrets, so many characters you can interact with (and yes it is absolutely worth it to talk to literally every single person/creature you can) and there are even several characters with songs that are really really cool and sound really good. I could play this game for hours on end if I wasn't in college lol 1000/10 highly recommend

Lost in Random — це захоплива пригодницька гра в унікальному, гротескному світі з такими ж химерними персонажами та своєрідним геймплеєм.

Мені вона дуже сподобалася. За візуальним стилем і загальним настроєм гра нагадала мені [b] Psychonauts [/b] — не буквально, а на рівні відчуттів. Є в ній щось важкоописуване, але дуже знайоме: дивакуватість, ексцентричність, сміливість і водночас щира чарівність. Вона не намагається бути «як усі» — і саме цим чіпляє.

Я залишився дуже задоволений проходженням і щиро рекомендую Lost in Random усім, хто любить незвичні історії та таку ж нестандартну бойову систему.

Окремо хочу подякувати [b] Галицькому Розбишаку [/b] за чудовий фанатський переклад. Велика подяка за цю роботу!

I have to admit, my feelings about this game are very mixed. So to simplify everything I'll leave bellow the cons and prons and the main reason I can't reccomend the game.

Pros:
+ easy to pick up and play, pretty straightforward
+ beautiful world with amazing desing and NPC's overall, I really liked this setup and the whole idea of Random, I even wish there was more lore about the place itself
+ The whole game is voiced and for me this is a HUGE plus. There're subtitles as well, but the story hits better when everyone has a voice that matches them. This help the player to experience the world better.
+ The combat - LOVE LOVE LOVEEEE the combat system in this game and how it's actually related to the world, I really had a lot of fun combining the card for the perfect deck, and the RNG during the battle is not big problem, because you only have 15 cards in a deck and u can trigger the deck very fast again. The combat was the main thing that made me play the whole game.
+ I kinda liked the story (more like the charaters you meet along the way), but it's nothing special and got a little boring by the end, so don't really expect much, I personally made very relatable associations with different human emotions while experiencing the end of the story, but that might no be the case with you.

Cons:
- The most important thing and the reason I almost quit playing the game, was the fact they haven't fixed a BUG from 4 yers ago... It was a place in Two-town where u get locked in, even if u passed the challange and therefore you can't progress neither you can go back or try the challange again. This bug just prevents you from playing ahead and it literally kills your save file, so to be able to play further I was forced to make a new save and START OVER the whole game till this point and then play an hour more just to be sure next time I start the game this bug won't stop me again from progressing in the game. So it was a pretty BAD waste of time for me to re-play just so I can finish the game.
- The story gets a but too repetitive over time and you can't really feel that you're progressing much throughout the game. There Are no surprising twists or much richness in the story and the "villian"' lore/motivation gets really brushed over and overall the ending feels a bit boring/forced. I felt a bit disappointed, because the creators had this brilliant idea about the world of Random (wich was visually very well executed), and then kind of wasted it for a very basic main quest that could have been made more interesting for sure.
-It's very hard, almost impossible to navigate where you are exactly in the world, because the MAP in this game is pretty much useless. Doesn't show you where you are exactly and you have to always play the guessing game.
- If you don't enjoy randomness and a little gatcha elements, then won't recommend playing the game, cuz there're dice and cards involved and it's pretty much the core if the whole combat system (the story too).

The artwork, story, fighting system and just general world building are brilliant.
I'd still sadly give it a 7.5/10 for three reasons:
1. It's over too fast, takes barely 10 hours per run, doesn't matter if you speedrun or 100% it
2. No going back, sometimes you don't know which path is right, both paths are equally "secret", but one continues with the story while the other contains a collectible that you then may never reach again in this run
and 3. the difficulty doesn't rise very well.. you strat to have a strategy and one main deck after two to three hours, and the end bosses and fights in general just don't compare to that knowlege. The two Endbosses for example dissapointed me deeply.
Still a lovely game, wish there were more like it!

The game was fun but not until it asked you to walk a long hallway just to find and talk to NPCs that had nth to offer but dragged you down with uninteresting dialogues. Though it had its moments, the writing is between okay-ish and boring. The map was also hard to navigate. And wait! They still did not bother to fix a bug where you could not talk to anyone, which was a must to progress the game.

I initially bought this game for my Switch Lite. I started the game thinking it was going to be average and/or the same as everything else. (I lost a lot of confidence in games at that time) By the time I heading to Two-Town I realised how much I was enjoying it wanted to slow down and thoroughly experience the game. Needless to say, It's not so enjoyable on the Switch lite (for those who know - you know)
I knew I had to buy it for PC. As expected, my experience was a million times better.
Everything about this game was SO enjoyable.
The only downside, especially in some of the later levels, Combat was a little too often and felt like they were trying to fill space (mostly in Fivetropolis) which had me irritated and rushing through the level.
Long story short.
Loved the voice acting, character design, level design, story and soundtrack! amazing soundtrack!
For me, This game is fresh, everything gripped me about it. It has a very Alice-Madness Returns Vibe mixed with Tim Burton and something else that I can't put my finger on. Underrated. I highly recommend!

Cruza de Tim Burton e Yu-Gi-Oh! e o resultado é um filho viciado em jogo de azar.

Se você gosta da estética de O Estranho Mundo de Jack, mas sempre achou que faltava um pouco de vício em apostas e agressão com dados e cubos mágicos, pode comprar sem medo.

O que você vai encontrar:

Protagonista: Uma menina chamada Even que resolve todos os seus problemas na base da sorte (literalmente).

O melhor Pet dos games: Dicey. Ele é um dado com perninhas que faz sons de "bli-blo-blu" numa lingua incompreensível (as vezes você entende mesmo assim ???), tem crises existenciais e carrega o peso do mundo nas costas (literalmente).

Combate: É basicamente um "Vou jogar esse dado e ver se o destino quer que eu use uma espada ou uma torta na cara do inimigo". É um lugar onde tirar "1" no dado dói mais que bater o dedinho na quina do móvel.

O Loop de Gameplay: Imagine um ARPG que sofre uma mutação para Real-Time Strategy. Você coleta cristais com um estilingue (sim, um estilingue contra robôs gigantes, só confia no processo) para carregar sua mão de cartas. Ao rolar o Dicey, o jogo entra em Pausa Tática. É aqui que o gerenciamento de recursos brilha: você precisa decidir se gasta seus tokens em armas pra uso no curto prazo ou se guarda para aquele combo que só vai funcionar se o universo conspirar a seu favor.

Visual: Tão bonito que parece que o Neil Gaiman desenhou enquanto tomava um café amargo em Londres.

Em resumo o jogo é incrível, a história é envolvente e os personagens são bizarros do jeito certo. Só não recomendo se você tiver trauma de jogos de tabuleiro ou se o seu azar for tão grande que você consegue tirar 0 em um dado de 6 faces.

Nota: 9/10 (Só não é 10 porque o dado não me deu a carta de cura quando eu estava com 1 de HP).

O jogo é realmente muito bonito, a história e mundo são muito cativantes, a estética e trilha sonora são muito únicas, ainda mais se você gosta de histórias com conto de fadas, a mecânica de combate em tempo real usando cartas e dados tem MUITO POTENCIAL, é muito legal mesmo a ideia, espero DMS que a sequência mantenha essa mecânica mas tente surpreender melhorando ela, porém, nesse jogo ela é mais temática do que qualquer outra coisa, nota 10 para a ideia e nota 6 para execução, o jogo definitivamente é bom, principalmente no início que tudo é novo, mas dá metade para o fim ele perde o brilho exatamente pq você já não tem mais tanta novidade, certamente esse é um dos jogos com mais potencial que já joguei em todos os sentidos, estética, história, música, mecânica e gameplay, só no aguardo do Lost in random 2, recomendo dms pela experiência, embora, como eu disse a execução de fato não foi a melhor.
