20시간까지는 정말 재미있게 했다.
그 이후로 업적작이랑 해금요소들 깨려고 반복하는건 정말 고역이다.

이 게임이 쉽게 질리는 이유는 명료한데
1~3장 모든 요소가 아무런 특성없이 나열되어있다는 것이다.

Hervorragendes Spiel, welches mir viel Spaß beim spielen gemacht hat.

Für ein Roguelite auch auf Dauer außergewöhnlich motivierend, da es z.B. Storyelemente gibt die ich in diesem Genre so bisher nicht erlebt habe.
Es gibt zudem unterschiedlichste spielmechanische Elemente freizuschalten und zu entdecken, welche für eine sehr befriedigende Progression sorgen. Jeder neue Durchlauf bietet relevante Neuerungen die das Spielerlebnis erweitern und einem ein angenehmes Gefühl des Fortschritts wermitteln.

Auch wenn sich natürlich Missionen und Missionsziele bei jedem Durchlauf naturgemäß immer mal wiederholen, empfand ich beim spielen nicht das es sich unangenehm repetitiv anfühlt. Das empfinde ich als bemerkenswert für ein Roguelite.

Ich bin nun einmal komplett durch und noch immer gibt es relevante Neuerungen freizuschalten.
Im Nachhinein wünsche ich mir fast bis zum ersten kompletten Run zumindest noch ein- zweimal öfter gescheitert zu sein.

Für mich persönlich ist das eine 9,5 von 10 innerhalb des Genres!

I love the bones of this game, mixes my favorite genres in FE-like TTRPG and rogue-like. And don’t get me wrong I’m having a great time playing this game and will continue to, but I think it lacks depth and deep replay-ability it a couple key ways. My suggestions would be to make each stage feel more distinct like map style or look, add way more options for skills (right now just feels like you get the same skills every time), and then make the battles and enemies more dynamic through more battle quirks and much more enemy types. Right now they all feel pretty much the exact same. But love what it’s generally doing and want either more from this game or more games like this!!

Pretty refreshing game, feeling a bit higher tier than the traditional diamond in the rough roguelite, and has a decent plot, great replayability, and lots of tweaks that you can play with.

I especially loved the relic system, and how it interacts and gets affected by other game systems, easily swinging the pendulum of brutality to your side, with a bit of preparation and luck!

At the start I was sceptical if the roguelike mechanics with skills and levels resetting between runs would work for me, but absolutely fell in love with the game, there's other stuff that you can unlock for permanent buffs for all your runs like class upgrades or the altar of fire buffs.
Awesome turn based game, just hope that there will be DLC for it to add some more characters to enhance the roster.

My only real issue with the game was that the true ending path was far too grindy and that there too many forced normal battles. The new update added a "Quick Expedition" toggle that fixes both those issues. I can now recommend the game.

Great addition to the first Lost Eidolons game. You do need to play the first one to enjoy this game, but there's a cool easter egg if you have played the first one. The upgrade system is straight forward and not too random, but there are definitely some skills that are much better than others so some runs can look pretty identical.

Overall, solid game with some fantastic voice acting.

自分にはローグライトが驚くほど合わないのだということを再認識させてくれた
村から各地に遠征に出て、途中でクエストに失敗するか遠征破棄すると一部のアイテムとわずかなステータス上昇要素を残して、ほんの少しだけストーリーが進んで村に戻されるというシステム
他のレビューでも書かれている通り、SRPGとローグライト？の嚙み合わせが悪いだけかもしれないが、遊んでいて眠くなってしまった
単調なSRPGと地味なストーリーが、少しも楽しさを与えてくれなかった
さらに成長要素がほとんど奪われると、すぐにやる気も失せてしまった
というわけで、あまり遊ばずにリタイアしそうであるが、好きな人には合いそうな、普通によくできているゲームだとは思うので、一応おすすめにしておく

This is a turn-based tactical rogue-lite. You'll take five (or less if you choose) heroes on a slay the spire like adventure to solve the mystery of the risen undead (Fallen). Each character has a class with specific skills. Once you build your relationship with the other characters, they teach you their class. However, you character is the only one that can change class during the game. Everyone else is locked in. Each class has two weapon sets, with different skills to take advantage of each. For instance, your starting class uses a two handed sword and a bow. Then, after every run, you'll unlock more and more things that make future runs "easier". I put that in quotes because there are ways to make the runs more difficult and maintain the challenge if you want to. At 25 hours, I managed to beat the "final" boss and "finish" the game, but there are still lots of things to still unlock and reasons to keep playing.

This kind of game is right up my alley. I enjoy tactical rogue-lites. If you do too, especially those with some lite RPG elements, you may enjoy this one. It should be noted that I never played the first game. However, playing this game and following the story will basically explain what happened in the previous game. But you can play this one without having played the other. I like it, maybe you will, too!

It's addictive enough, but the tactical aspect is kinda easy. Making throught the very first expedition and seeng the ending titles felt kinda wierd. Major factor is a rewind mechanic, that slows the player to replay the battle from any point up to 3 times per battle (it can be upgraded for even more). It is nice to undo a stupid mistake i made, but being able to reset the battle with a new approach twice feels like cheating sometimes. Overall, it is a nice "second screen" game.

I was surprised at how well this game plays. The graphics are not completely there. Lots of still frames but overall it looks good enough. The real pro of this game is just the game play and replayability. Def feels like an addition and twist to spire without feeling old. great value.

The combat early on is very simplistic, repetitive, and dull, bordering on boring; Usually that wouldn't be that big of a problem in this type of game since your characters level up and gain new abilities and you get new units to play with.

Except this is a roguelite so you'll have to go through this growing pains multiple times.

Also the animations, and impact of animations and abilities feel very lackluster, there's also very minimal camera work and you're perpetually seeing the action from a bird's eye view which feels like a missed oportunity in this kind of game; I wish the camera would zoom in or even change angles to see the action more up close like in the modern Xcom, or Fire Emblem games.

This is a really well-executed roguelite that even features a compelling storyline, though I wish it were much longer than just ten Memory Vault entries and a single lackluster "true ending" scene, especially since there are too few permutations available after successful runs. That being said, the game definitely delivers everything you would expect from the genre.

One small issue worth mentioning is that the devs apparently didn't account for players completing their very first run without a single death, which leads to some misplaced dialogue. Certain lines trigger as if you had already failed, died before, or met a character multiple times, causing some narrative beats to occur in the wrong order.

An IMPROVEMENT compared to the previous instalment.
Decided to take a quick peek to see the kind of spoken English they'd use, and I much prefer the kind of spoken English they use in this game compared to the previous game. The lesser memory space needed to install this game is a plus in my book. Most likely because of the use of beautifully drawn 2D character art instead of 3D CGs from the previous game.

For those that played turn based tactical games like Super Robot Wars series, you will immediately feel right at home playing this.

Whether the gameplay loop or combat, I immediately feel familiar navigating the menus in this game.

And like I said for my review for the previous game, I can only see things GETTING BETTER.
So yeah, I can easily recommend this game if turn based tactical games are your jam.

Because it IS my jam. 8 out of 10.

好玩的，系统设计还是挺精妙的，看得出是花了点心思的。有反复游玩的动力。每个角色的立绘也很漂亮，不同职业的特点也很明确，不同人物组合使用也非常有意思。但是奶妈好像只有一个，导致这个缺不了？剧情主要靠对话推进，打了18个小时还看不出好坏，但是悬疑感塑造得蛮好。整体肯定是个优秀的游戏，不要按3A大作的要求来玩的话肯定给好评。

This game was great until I understood a problem with the core mechanics.

XP and Health are both gained by using abilities in the combat stages, and abilities have no resource cost. It results in rewarding players for wasting time, you want to stall combat stages to spam abilities for maximum xp and full heal every time. There needs to be a resource limit for abilities or some other fix.

I beat the game with all challenges enabled, but it was tedious and not fun because I wasted time in every combat stage to gain advantage.

Two major updates later (I played Nov 2025, writing review March 2026) and this problem is still not addressed in patch notes. I can't continue playing.

• Combat: it's a typical Fire Emblem style SRPG, with an interesting soulslike twist to it.

• Writing: The characters are very well written. VA is really well done, too. The story feels a bit short, but it's better than most anticlimactic AAAs.

• Level Design: reasonable and fun.

• Difficulty: highly customizable. But without said customization the game's pretty easy overall.

• Performance: very good. no lagging. no visual glitches. runs smoothly at low temp (RTX 3090)

Considering how many Turn-Based-Games i have played in my life, i'm amazed that there are still fresh ideas to explore.

The combat is really good, lots of options.
The Rogue-Like-Meta-Progression is also nice and plentiful.

The game really likes to throw a ton of enemies at you - what seems impossible at times, but with some unlocks here and some experience there it is doable and grants a lot of XP. :)

GFX: Very nice.
SFX: Also nice - there are a lot of Voice lines for the characters (don't expect Oscar-Worthy lines) but not everything is voiced, so at some point they only do "Huh, Hah, Hmm, Yeah" for a bunch of text.

I got it while discounted, but if seems good enough for full price.

If i had someting bad to say about it... there is a lot of clicking involved (menus in menues) - but i got used to it.

this game is incredible for the story and gameplay, its not super diverse with maps or enemies, but its really fun and there is a surprising amount to do, really enjoyed getting to the true ending

Ok game. There better be DLC or a sequel and not be a one off. Definitely needs refinement and still needs plenty of bug fixes( there are lots). Some very original Ideas on character progression through your runs. If it wasn't for all the bugs this long after release, I wo uld give it a solid 8/10. As it stands now, maybe 5.5-6.0

Esse jogo não é para mim, quando comprei não achei que era um rougue like, até tentei dar uma chance mais ele fica chato muito rápido, as runs são longas e as batalhas são muito tediosas, sempre com objetivos chatos e longos e é mais um daqueles jogos de estratégia que toda hora fica aparecendo inimigo novo na batalha, o que é um saco isso.

1) когда думал купить или нет прочел обзоры и увидел хейтеров - я впервые не понимаю, где у людей голова когда они пишут подобное.
2) Это огромная работа над ошибками, я это не просто ШЕДЕВР а нечто не вообразимое в сравнении с оригиналом...
НО
На вкус и цвет все фламастеры разные :)))

А если нужна аргументация - она есть у меня, но писать тут поэмы мне лень :)))

A solid TRPG which distinguishes itself in part by letting you just...not watch any enemy animations, at all, if you don't want to. You want enemy turns to last three seconds total? Cool, you can do that.

거의 4시간이 되어서야 1장 클리어를 할 정도로 한판의 호흡이 엄청 길다.
1장 클리어 도전과제가 70%도 안되는거 보면 꽤 어려운편.
그래도 지금 세일하는 가격이면 할만하지 않을까 싶다.

玩法上是有意思的，第一把就让人玩进去了，不过剧情设计上的安排感觉不太好，新手第一次旅程比较简单，很容易就通关了，然后剧情会看的一头雾水，感觉莫名所以刚出门就遇到boss了一样，后面发现战斗失败有前置剧情。。。。

Nothing special about this game. It feels kinda boring, the game play is nice and all, but it one of those games where you don't feel like you progress much in anything you are trap in a forever loop. The game itself doesn't provide substance. I don't get to keep my skills or abilities when leveling up. It feels like a massive waste of time playing the game over and over again in an arcade like setting. I've beaten the game in under 6 hours. Decided to play easy mode after beating the game normal mode. It has no hard mode, but you can make the game more difficult if you want to add challenges to the game mode. Not really entertain by another replay. I think the character story was a snooze fest that I just skip through them. An "amnesiac story" main protagonist is so common and redundant that you already know the storyline. I left for fresher water after reading some of the dialogue.

Well, i played the game for one run... Goes through tutorials, beginning my first expedition and... Ending it at act 3.

To be fair, it was hilarous to read teammates saying to my character i have a brother and a lot of things but that's still my first run and all the storytelling goes mixed all together. Would be nice to get a touch of : "What ?! It's your first run and you'r already at act 3 ?!" or something like that.

Still, it's a nice game to play, runs can be long but I see for my 2nd run there some shortcuting run mode, so it's fine.

꽤 할만했음 근대 스토리가 너무 감질맛나게나오는대 그마저도 퀄리티가 딱히 있지는 않아서 순수 턴제전투부분만 즐길수있음
더빙있는거는 좋지만 그래도 한쿡게임인대 한국어더빙있었으면 하는 아쉬움도 있고
결론만말하면 생각보다 할만함 근대 스토리적으로는 거이다온거같은대 기억찾겠다고 뺑뻉이 도는게 딱히 취향은 아니였고 무엇보다 열심히 키웠는대 다름판가니까 싹 초기화된게 개인적으로 아쉬웠음 이런턴제게임에는 닌텐도에 있는 풍화설월 처럼 애정캐 하나를 존나 키워서 애 하나로 다미는 플레이도 자주 나오는 편이라 그거 기대했는대 한번 싹미니까 초기화되서 아쉬웠음 질려서 완 치기는 하는대 취향에 맞으면 20시간~30시간까지도 할만할듯

Me gustó mucho la entrega anterior. Y aunque éste parece partir de una idea similar y una historia que puede ser interesante, y tiene un apartado artístico o de dibujado aceptable, la calidad gráfica de los personajes es tan terriblemente mala que se hace difícil jugarlo en pleno 2026. Para hacerlos así casi que es preferible en 2D. Es difícil entender la decisión de porqué decidieron cambiar esto tan a peor respecto al primer juego.

Alright, the game managed to win me over... somewhat. I'm changing the review to positive as an encouragement.

I applaud the game direction and I'm really starved for this unique blend of story, commpanionship & progression.
I've played both Eidolons games from Ocean Drive and they really scratch the Fire Emblem itch in a great way.
To my surprise, roguelike elements are introduced quite well too, I think overall they add to the experience and help keeping the gameplay fresh. That is coming from someone who's generally not a fan of the genre.
Overall, I LOVE where they are going with this, but they stumble quite a lot along the way.

Game balance is very off. In my 10 hours I've not came close to losing once. I put on some enemy modifiers on my 2nd run and it didn't change much. I will try to put on some extremely harsh modifiers for the 3rd run and hope it will improve the experience.

However, I think the problem runs deeper than enemy stats. The enemies are just not that interesting or challenging. I think a lot of lessons can be learned from Othercide - another roguelike tactical RPG, which has an innovative initiative mechanic, and extremely dangerous enemies, each with their own unique behaviour.

Technically, the game is a bit of a mess.
Inexplicable no native Ultrawide support and no DSR support (that I managed to overcome with a trick).
Basic gameplay opitons missing, like camera panning speed.
Basic graphic options like anti-aliasing are missing too.

The game is graphically simple, but that can be a strength. It is Steam Deck verified and I'm looking forward to play it on the go. From what I've seen it runs well on the old handheld.
I just wish graphic options were more robust and scaled up with the hardware better.
Devs really should patch it in order to allow users to set up expensive AA, and/or run the game at very high resolutions on PC.
I managed to run it in 5160x2160 and it looks pretty good even on desktop.

Much better scoped than the original Lost Eidolons - and is well crafted as a result. A bit easy if you're used to turn-based tactics games, but can be made harder with difficulty settings that are introduced in the end-game cycles.
