This was my backbone for playing Dark Souls 3 and Elden Ring. I really loved the fast paced fight style, REALLY cinematic shots, aesthetics, art style, and model design. Some improvements I saw had potential is STOP OVERUSING ENEMIES, introducing bosses/minibosses early game and MAKING THEM COMMON ENEMIES mid&late-game, this made the gameplay stale, best example is the snow area, I expect some unique enemies but end up disappointed with reskins or minor alterations of past enemies. And come on now, what happened with the blood effect -_- speeding it up didn't do much.

UPD: Короткий мануал для тех, у кого запускается демо-версия (Friend's Pass), ибо как и многие здесь, я сначала дрочился с этой хернёй и не мог пройти дальше определённого момента в игре, благо друг подсказал решение, короче, вот:

-Перейдите в раздел «Справка» (Help) в верхнем левом углу клиента Steam.

-Выберите «Служба поддержки Steam».

-Найдите в списке или через поиск Lords of the Fallen.

-Выберите пункт «Я хочу навсегда удалить эту игру со своего аккаунта».

Это не удалит основную версию игры, а только демку (Friend's Pass) и это не затронет ваши сохранения.

ИТАК, прошёл я этих "Повелителей Падших" и что я могу сказать, не смотря на кучу говна которым игру поливают. В целом, проект ИГРАБЕЛЬНЫЙ и даже затягивает и вызывает ностальгию по дарк соулсам, атмосфера в игре прям топовое дарковое фэнтези, я прям кайфовал.

+ ЖИРНАЯ боёвка, ощущается каждый удар, интересная сочная магия, моментами даже лучше самих дарков, да, присутствует некоторая кривизна, но она еле заметна и на неё закрываешь глаза. Если ты новичок в этом жанре, и не играл в другие проекты, например, тех же Фромов, то и не заметишь вовсе, наверное...
+ ОСНОВНЫЕ БОССЫ (да, их не так много), но это прям моё почтение, они ОХРЕНЕННЫЕ по визуалу, считаю, что некоторые из них даже переплюнули боссов из тех же дарков и ЭР. Видно, что здесь разрабы постарались.
+ОНЛАЙН, лично мне было по приколу вторгнуться к кому-нибудь в мир (или призвать в свой кого-нибудь) и вместе пропылесосить пару-тройку локаций и щемануть пару-тройку боссов, весело-задорно.
В принципе, игра поэтому и настроена в первую очередь на онлайн, отсюда и МИЛЛИАРДЫ мобов, с которыми особенно тяжело справиться казуалам на начальных этапах игры (привет, Remnant).

МИНУСЫ расписывать особо не буду, их уже перечислили в других комментах, лично для меня:
-ДИКИЙ реюз боссов под мобов, доходит вплоть до такого, что дойдя до очередного второстепенного босса, и ты охреневаешь от того, что ему помогает босс, которого ты уже валил недавно..
- НЕТ РУССКОГО ЯЗЫКА, я понимаю, что можно исправить модом (кстати он не всё переводит, некоторый лут в игре всё равно будет без перевода), но тем не менее, русскоязычные игроки НЕ должны быть ущемлены из-за происходящего в мире.
- МЁРТВЫЕ НПС, ну, почти мёртвые, ну, если сравнивать с теми же дарк соуласами, им похрену что с тобой происходит и им нет до тебя дела в большинстве своём. Разрабы будто бы не довели до ума баланс коммуникаций с ними. Лично мне удалось самому полностью разгадать только 2 квестовые линейки по двум нпс без мануалов из ютуба, остальные -- это просто туман туманный, хлеще дарков, короче ютуб вам в помощь.
- ДИКИЙ дисбаланс сложности в самом начале игры, при чём ты ощущаешь это буквально купив ключ у Стомунда и открыв эту чёртову дверь. НЕ ПОКУПАЙ РАНЬШЕ ВРЕМЕНИ КЛЮЧ У СТОМУНДА, иди куда показывает фонарь (хотя бы на начальных этапах игры) и будет тебе счастье, НАВЕРНОЕ...

КОРОЧЕ, ставлю игре 5/10 в надежде, что разработчики учтут все минусы и примут во внимание пожелания игроков, особенно РУССКОЯЗЫЧНЫХ. Иначе будет палец вниз.

It was misleading at first. I thought this was a Steam giveaway, but it's a "Friend's Pass" Cool that this exists though. Best looking textures I've ever seen. I just never liked the marketing though. Too confusing. I'm sure I'll buy the real thing after I catch up on some other games. I typically don't play fantasy games or souls-like games. I gravitate toward futuristic 3rd Person shooters or Modern Times 3PS, but this game just looks too good and it's cool that you can invite a friend for co-op.

I have no idea about the game before 2.5 but my actually experience is that the game is worth it. I know I'm playing the game years later but I see lots of stuff to do and enjoy. The game wants to give a good Souls experience and succeds well:
- Good fight experience with all kind of weapons and magic
- Good tragic and unfortunate situations as a Souls game knows how to do
- Good exploration

The lantern and the umbral world (the core of the game) could be confusing at first but you start to understand it after a short while

I like the boss fight too but what I don't like is that after a midboss or miniboss , which appear to be powerful, after that, you can see them again as normal mob just with less health (Some things are repetitive and non-exclusive)

Overall it's a nice game. Bought the game for 10€ it's a deal

I have played dozens of souls-likes at this point, and this is among the worst of them. Firstly, it runs terribly. Even on my PC, with the specs attached, there's constant stuttering during gameplay, and occasional moments of significant lag spikes. The poor lumen implementation also results in ghosting, shimmering artefacts, and of course screen space reflections result in completely incomprehensible water reflections.

The game's camera is atrocious. Random foliage or clutter will block the camera's view as a regular occurrence. Clicking the stick to lock on also functions to snap the camera in the direction the player character is facing, which is a completely unwanted function that only causes trouble when the game regularly fails to lock onto an enemy that's directly in the centre of the screen, and you end up facing in the opposite direction instead. There are multiple lock-on modes in the options and none of them feel any more reliable than the others.

Interact and forwards jump share a button and cannot be separated, which creates the obvious problem of trying to interact with a ladder or item and jumping right over it instead, which is exacerbated by how the interact prompt appears slightly before you're actually close enough to interact with something. The menus are questionably designed, with rings that affect HP or stats not showing you how much they change them by. There's a menu full of tutorials, but explanations for status effects aren't in them.

The dark world gimmick just amounts to the dark world having more paths and extra items in it, while if you die in the normal world you get a revive in the dark world. Also in the dark world, enemies will regularly spawn in to hound you, even if you're already in combat with another enemy. This results in cheap deaths where you can be fighting an enemy only to get suddenly stabbed in the back by an enemy that spawned in behind you. It also makes moving around annoying because you're constantly being interrupted by these spawns.

Combat itself is at best inoffensive, simply being very bland and sluggish, but it's dragged down by how often the game puts you in scenarios where you're trying to deal with multiple enemies attacking you from different angles and ranges at the same time. In most games these situations would be a rarity but in this it's almost every encounter and it wears thin extremely quickly when it's not a game where you have strong crowd control options like say Hell Is Us.

Enemies get stuck on terrain all the time, becoming completely immobile as they have no idea what to do about their situation, while the player character will also frequently get stuck on small rocks or other minor obstacles presenting minor differences in elevation, which makes movement regularly irritating as well.

There's just very little going for this outside of the level design which isn't too bad I guess, but I've had my fill of the obnoxious everything else.

Yes, the update did a LOT to improve the game.
Everything positive that has been said is still true, visuals, music characters etc.
Sadly the lighting is still abnoxius, stepping out into the sun should not cause a nuclear explosion of light....

Still, the game feels like a never ending, claustrophobic corridor, with tiny even narrower side paths.
Broken up by large areas with only 1 enemy in it, and only relevant once per playtrough.

Terrible experience in shared progression coop, its buggy and it limits the other player on many aspects and upgrades...

And seriously.. who thought it was a good idea to put a 'Join Shared Session' button that overwrite your progress the instant you join someone else game , not even a warning , you can just misclick it and it instantly teleports you.. Genius really, mentally challenged geniuses..

たぶん出るであろう本家と本家の間の繋ぎにソウルライク触りたい！って層としては十分及第点かと
但し、当方本家Ⅱも酷評されてるの知らずに普通に最後まで楽しんだくらいソウルシリーズの評価甘めなのであまりあてにならないかも…

Game is solid and fun, but have a few nitpicks...

[*]I don´t like the voice acting, from the intro to the npcs, they all sound fake or too tryhard to sound epic... i find them annoying.
[*]The ambience is nice, but the level design is not one of its strongest points, its confusing and somewhat tedious, some parts feels as dead ends with no return and maybe im just stupid, but i didn´t like it.
[*]The weapon and armor design is too edgy for me, if i was a teenager i might like it, but i haven't been one in almost 20 years. It doesn´t click with me.
[*]The interface doesn´t feel intuitive, but again, maybe i´m just stupid.
[*]To me, the game delivers so many things to learn or understand at the same time, and if its not intuitive I don't really care

So yeah, the combat is really fun, there are constant enemies to fight and boss battles are interesting, I don't think i'm gonna replay this though.

I haven't played any Souls-like games since Dark Souls 1 and that was mostly my buddy playing it. So i don't have the high expectations some other players here seem to have.

To me the game looks amazing. The graphics look great and the game runs super smooth, plus it has a decent filesize for a modern game. The sound is also great. Overall the atmosphere is amazing.

The gameplay is fine by me so far. I remember Dark Souls being terrible when it comes to movement so maybe modern Souls-like players have become soft.

Pretty fun, combat lives up to any other soulslike so i honestly dont understand any negative reviews regarding combat, the dodging also gives me some of the most satisfying feelings ive had in gaming so far.
Map is really pretty although the environment can be a bit plain in color and I feel like the soundtrack could be less eery (even if it supports the vibe of the game, i feel its too much). Performance is fine, nothing crazy, nothing like f.e. mhwilds.
Considering the low price tag at 30 bucks and how much it gets discounts to 10 bucks its pretty much a no brainer not to pick up if you like soulslikes

I dunno what this game was like before its 2025 overhaul, but as someone who's enough of a souls junkie to finish DeS, Ds1, Ds2, Ds3, Bloodborne, Sekiro, Elden Ring, [i]and[/i] Nightreign... I loved it!

Of the soulslikes I've played, I feel like [i]Lords of the Fallen (2023)[/i] is the one that by far puts in the most conscious effort towards making itself new player accessible; I have absolutely no clue how well it does at that, though, since I'm very very far from a new player o~o

Some highlights:
+ Absolutely stellar soundtrack
+ Good variety of spells to play with
+ Throwables & ranged weapons are treated similarly to spells, meaning you don't have to buy ammo in order to resupply
+ Weapon movesets feel pretty good
+ Dual wielding is a thing, if that takes your fancy
+ Good enemy variety
+ Good environmental variety
+ Character creator has a fun tattoo system to play with
+ Built-in playthrough modifier options, such as enemy randomizer and item randomizer
+ You can reset your character's story progression without going to New Game+
+ Has one of the strongest fashion games in the genre, especially with its unique armor-dying Tincture system
+ Multiplayer coop mode has the capability to allow both of you to progress your worlds simultaneously
+ Voice acting for [spoiler]Tancred[/spoiler], specifically, is absolutely perfecto

And some lowlights:
- Character customization is very fiddly to work with
- Facial customization is very limited
- Enemy placement is very much [i]not[/i] above putting a cheekily hidden divebomber up near some ceiling, who will swoop in to shove you off a cliff to your immediate demise
- The vast majority of headgear hides your character's face, messes with their hair, or even makes them bald
- The Point-of-No-Return for locking yourself into the normal ending is [b]shockingly[/b] early
- NPC questlines are, somehow, even more "implausible to follow without a guide" than is standard for the soulslike genre
- Two of the NPC quests are mutually exclusive, and both require purposefully losing to a certain repeat-shower boss several times until he moves to his final encounter
- Multiplayer coop connection becomes increasingly unstable as time goes on, so marathoning the entire game together in one go is currently impractical to attempt

Finally, some hit-or-misses that can be plusses for some, and minuses for others:

[*] The Umbral Lamp: This game's signature gimmick, which is strictly mandatory for navigating the world and plays a significant role in many combat encounters
[*] The levels of environmental blood/gore/body horror in this game are, on average, [b][i]even higher[i][/b] than Bloodborne
[*] Most items have extra lore that's locked behind levelling one or both of the magic stats
[*] Locking onto an enemy changes your dodge controls, so that 1 tap = short stepdodge with low i-frames and 2 taps = the usual long dodgeroll with high i-frames
[*] Stance breaking and poise breaking are two different systems which both happen simultaneously, which can feel a little odd when it comes to defending yourself
[*] Armor defense stats matter quite a lot, which can lead to fashion choice becoming quite restrictive if one desires playing towards meta
[*] With a couple outstanding exceptions, every boss tilts towards a squishy glass cannon archetype that hits really really hard but dies really really fast
[*] There are [b][i]a lot[/i][/b] of minibosses of the "reuses a difficult enemy from later on" variety
[*] This game's helmet fashion is strongly biased towards hiding your character's face
[*] Voice acting direction for most NPCs is... very awkward o~o
[*] PVP invasions are completely 100% opt-in
[*] The game is [i]very[/i] aggressive with blocking off the world while there's PVP going on, so you can't run very far from your opponent

Destroyed a bunch of enemies. Walked around the corner. Saw 2 more enemies. Thought might as well get these guys done too, i'm clearly on a roll here. Didn't get a single hit off, got stun lock beaten into smithereins.

Após 35 horas jogadas, terminei o jogo em Coop com meu amigo, que inclusive achei excelente essa mecânica de poder compartilhar uma cópia para incentivar um amigo a jogar (inovador e econômico).
nas primeiras 15 horas eu achei o jogo incrível, com uma gameplay muito dinamica, movimentos pesados e voce sente a força que o personagem coloca nos golpes, senti mais isso neste jogo até do que nos outros souls likes como Elden e a franquia Souls. Além disso, os mapas que apareceram até esse momento eram novos e com muita coisa para explorar, chefes únicos e com lutas legais contra esses chefes, sendo muito divertido até então. Porém, após as 15 horas jogadas, o jogo começou a ficar massante, repetitivo e cansativo. Vários lugares eram enormes, cheio de caminhos com os mesmo inimigos todos repetidos e teve momentos que passei 10 horas vendo os mesmo inimigos, até mudarem e colocarem mais 1 inimigo no meio de vários outros repetidos. Além disso, os cenários começaram a ficar visualmente cansativos, parecendo todos iguais, locais iguais que nao dava pra distinguir muito de outros que voce ja tinha passado. Resumindo, me empolguei muito nas primeiras 15 horas a ponto de achar o jogo 10/10 e depois comecei a ficar frustrado com a repetição de inimigo, cenários e progressão que o jogo caiu para uma nota 5/10. Mas, no fim, vale a pena em promoção para brincar com um amigo que também gosta de Soulslike.

Nunca havia jogado soulslike's, resolvi tentar o gênero e comprei esse game na promoção. No começo vc passa raiva, morre infinitas vezes, xinga até a 3° geração do desenvolvedor... hahah mas dps vc pega as manhas e o jogo fica divertido demais e agora vc só morre várias vezes mesmo hahaha vale a pena, o game te prende, ótima história, inimigos variados, chefes diferenciados, sistema de upgrade de armas e personagem bem da hora, e a sacada do mundo umbral foi genial. Vale a pena.

Totalmente decepcionado del juego, empecemos por lo bueno, nuevas mecánicas. Jugar en diferentes estados muerto y vivo. Cuando pierdes toda la vida tienes la oportunidad de volver a la vida solo que la mitad de la vida. Podras recuperar la mitad de la vida a medida que des golpes. Ambiente muy pulido. vamos con lo malo: Jefes y enemigos con dificultad artificial. Luego de pasar zonas extremadamente largas te ponen un 3 enemigos como boss. Que te spawnean con ataques en una zona pequeña y ademas tiene un efecto acumulativo por cada vez que te hacen daño. Muy dificil direccionarse en el mapa. No tienes claro a donde ir. Enemigos repetitivos. Todo muy mal

Я только одного не понял , какому гению пришло в голову очешуенная идея босов переводить в рядовое мобье , а в локацию Абатство поставить самых мразотных представителей- лучниц со святыми стрелами через каждый метр пространства . А так да рекомендую если вы хотите понастольгировать за дарками и отправится на луну на пердячной тяге .

The combat is well balanced and fluid. Often you will want to switch tactics and create combinations. Enemies telegraph a little more fairly than some games where you have no way to know what is going on without getting hit and dying a few times beforehand. The medieval gothic grimdark art theme is very well done.

The true ending and most of the quests have bizarre fail conditions, and are rife with permanent missables. I truly cannot understand why developers keep doing this, stop it.

Bosses have about half the health they should, and most are so laughably slow that you can literally run circles around them. No difficulty settings to make the bosses an actual challenge. The whole game looks the exact same in the Umbral realm, and every fight in the umbral realm is spammed with pointless zombie ads. Pre-order exclusives that you cannot earn through gameplay, disgusting. You have to edit the config files to turn off Vsync... Why?

As many have already noted, positive and negative sides of this game are deeply intertwined, often stemming from one another.

1. For a soulslike fan, the game immediately hooks you with its visuals. Every location provided pure aesthetic pleasure, from the swamps to Bramis Castle. My only complain is that you can’t observe the castle from a distance. It’s a stunning piece of Gothic architecture, and I really wanted to admire its exterior from better angles. In general, the game lacks those "wide-lens" moments where you can see distant locations. The weapons and armor are exceptionally well-designed, there’s almost no ugly gear. Alexandre Chaudret and the art team did a phenomenal job here. A special shout-out for the photo mode and the ability to disable that obnoxious chromatic aberration and motion blur in the settings.

2. Regarding level design and mapping, I have mixed feelings. On one hand, the interconnectedness of the world is impressive. On the other, backtracking becomes a chore because fast travel is restricted to Vestiges. I personally disliked the map concept; just a scratch image of a key landmark that you have to hunt down. I had zero desire to use it throughout my entire playthrough. While I rarely got lost, the lamp (Ctrl+E) was hit-or-miss. It often glitched, pointing up or down pointlessly if the current objective was in a different zone. However, the exclamation mark on some location in the fast-travel menu are a lifesaver for tracking story progress.

3. The Umbral mechanics are where the game truly shines. The balance between Axiom and Umbral is spot on. When you hold the lamp too long and get pulled in by an umbral faceless creep, you feel like damn John Constantine about to kick some supernatural ass. Umbral feels alive, like it’s always right there, breathing down your neck while you traverse Axiom.

4. Optimization-wise, I’m satisfied. Despite it's UE5, I got a stable 100-120 FPS at 2K on Cinematic settings, with rare drops to 70 FPS. No crashes at all (which is a breath of fresh air aftrer AC Valhalla)

5. Combat is... okay. It’s juicy in some ways and tedious in others due to limited attack patterns and a lack of special moves. The dodge/roll mechanic is baffling. Even by the end of the game, I couldn't figure out why the character randomly chooses to dodge or roll with the same button press. It might be tied to the sprint toggle, but it feels clunky and unintuitive. Also, having to tap rather than hold the sprint button is a questionable design choice.

Then there’s the "micro-jump." This is the game's biggest flaw for me. I get that maybe it’s one of a dev ways to prevent players from reaching "unintended" areas or hitting invisible walls, but when you control a legendary crusader who slays monsters, but can’t hop over two wooden planks, you feel like an idiot.

6. Boss designs and moveset patterns are great, though the final encounter with Adyr was buggy. He vanished twice during the second phase - the HP bar stayed, but the model was gone. I later found out this "fight" was only added in version 2.5, which explains the lack of polish. Also, as for the lack of enemy variety, I can put up with this, but the transition from fighting with "intimidating mini-boss" to fighting with the same character as a generic mob happens far too quickly, cheapening the satisfaction of your first victory. They should have been appear again later and tied to specific area rather than being randomly scattered, imo.

Overall, I enjoyed the game. And personally, the Ukrainian localization was a huge plus for my comfort. It’s clear the developers have put massive work into patches and bug fixes, showing a level of care you rarely see in AAA cash-grabs. Recommended.

É o meu primeiro jogo do gênero Souls Like e que sorte ter pego já tudo atualizado até mesmo com a classe Dark Crusader liberado na promoção kkkk está sendo muuuito divertido o jogo, difícil pra carai , mas acho que é porque nao estou acostumado nesse estilo de jogo, mas para quem curte souls like e já é jogador nato, achei até que fácil alguns Boss. Qualidade incrível, jogabilidade bacana. Uma das poucas coisas que me deixa um pouco puto é a questão da defesa tomar dano do mesmo jeito e os perrys não serem tao bons iguais outros souls likes que eu conheço (através de gameplay do youtube).

Muito bacana galera, comprem se tiver 39,59 ou aguarde que o 2 vai vir com tudo !!!

There are a few big issues with this game that make me want to not recommend it.

1.It's very difficult to figure out where to go most of the time: Where you need to go next and what you need to do to get there is not an intuitive process and you will spend a lot of time asking yourself "Where the ♥♥♥♥ am I supposed to go".

2. You always feel weak: For a game like this you should gradually get stronger and hit harder and the enemies get to become less of an issue. That is not the case for this game. I felt just as weak at the beginning of the game as I felt at the end of it. You can level up your weapons and your stats but it doesn't feel like you're getting stronger so there is really no point in grinding or working to get more in your stats.

3. Too many annoying enemies to enjoy the game: By this I mean the game has a lot of really incredible visuals going on in the background that it's nearly impossible to enjoy because every few moments a little ♥♥♥♥♥♥ is going to come out of nowhere and attack you.

Too much bugs, dodges doesn't feel smooth, boring lore, cranky coop mode. Had been playing with friend - she randomly got stuck under the textures. When I've returned to my world, I was at the same place as her. We tried to relaunch the game but we were still stuck under the textures. It was the last drop and I've deleted this game.
If you want souls-like experience - I would recommend something other that this.

Пусть я и мамкин обзорщик, но на это чудо я, ♥♥♥♥, напишу серьезный обзор.

Начнём с того, что сама игра - играбельна, и я её даже допройду, если вы лютый солусвайбер, то ♥♥♥ с вами, жрите это гавно, может даже не подавитесь.

Ну а если вы гурман, и кроме игр бабдзаки смотрите на соулсосодержащие продукты косо - то на этот проект даже не смотрите.

Начнём с главных претензий:
1. Любой ♥♥♥♥♥ босс в игре = он будет 50 раз еще потом как усиленный моб. ♥♥♥♥, в 2022 году вышел Elden Ring и одна из основных вещей, за которое его срали, это повторяющиеся боссы - через год, смотря на всё это, выпускают Lords of the fallen где этой ♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ в 3 раза больше, ну вы ваще чтоли дундуки на рынок не смотрите? хоть чу чуть надо на своего идейного вдохновителя смотреть и не совершать таких ошибок.

2. Я ставлю мать владика декаданса (с др кстати его), что в том же элден ринге, игре с ебанутым открытым миром на минуточку, заблудится ♥♥♥♥ СЛОЖНЕЕ, чем в коридорном Lords of the fallen. ♥♥♥♥, ч играю в лабиринт с минотавром или че ♥♥♥, куда идти ♥♥♥♥♥??? в начале игры ладно, плюс минус понятно, но с середины игры это ж ваще ♥♥♥♥♥ ужас какой то.

3. Про оптимизацию молчу ладно, за 2 года с релиза реально подтянули, не лагает, пк не перегружает, НО, вы графон ♥♥♥ видели? Прорисовку предметов видели? В нормальных руках такая графика на unreal engine 3 епты делается, ну край на 4, но точно ♥♥♥♥ не на пятом. Понятное дело, что графоний искуственно занижен в целях облегчения оптимизации, но вопрос ♥♥♥♥♥ вообще было изначально делать на этом движке, если не умеете блин блинский, сделали бы на 4-ом, никто бы слово плохого не сказал. А вообще делали бы на юнити, самый лучший движок для шутеров и соулс лайков.

4. Боевка. Скажи сразу, она больше приятная, чем нет. Иногда, даже она ощущается лучше, чем в ДС3, а это уровень неплохой очень, НО ♥♥♥♥. Как обычно большое НО. Почему увороты работают как будто с пингом? Не замечали, что ♥♥♥♥ уворачиваться надо ну прям на полсекунды раньше, чем на самом деле было бы надо увернуться в других играх??? С парированием вроде не так, но я не умею парировать мне пофиг.
Из забанвых элементов боевки есть такая хрень, что если противник зажимает своей моделькой тебя в углу, особенно если это большой моб или босс, то всё ♥♥♥♥♥, габелла, вы попали в джокушку ловушкера, пиздуйте в умбру, а если уже там, то попрощайтесь со своей никчемной жизнью сосунки.

КОроче это кал, прям кал, который на 20-ом часу игры хочется дропнуть. Есть лишь 2 причины в это играть:
- если вы готовы ♥♥♥ бабдзаки отсосать и жрете все гавно где в описании игры написано souls like, то да играйте, вцелом не самый худший вариант
- если вы хотите солуслайкать с друзьяшками и вам нехватило remnant^а

I would describe Lords of the Fallen as a great amalgamation of Dark Souls, Blasphemous and Zelda - A Link to the Past. It gave me a lot of Dark Souls vibes but it has enough of an own character to stand out as its own game and universe.

As a Dark Souls veteran you might notice that especially the bosses are much easier as you are used to, but many of them are designed very well and are still fun to fight. The game has two difficulty settings too, so maybe it would be worth picking the harder one from the start?

10週くらい終わったので
値段以上には楽しめると思います

ギミック付きのソウルと思っていただければ良いと思います
難易度は優しめですが簡単すぎることは無いと思います
なかなか惹かれる武器があると思います
フレンドと二人でやりましたがかなり良い感じでした。二人プレイやりやすいのは良いですね

大体何のビルドでもクリアできますが
状態異常は余り強くないのでおすすめしません（まあそれでも敵溶けますが）

マップで迷う事は無くサイト見ながらやる感じはありませんでした

暗黒世界との切り替えは面白かったです。時間制限云々言われますがその内狙って時間制限満たすので気にしないで良いです。
わざとだして死神狩らないとアイテム手に入らないのあるので
また、ソウル取得量上げるのにわざと入りっぱなしにしてますし

サクっと周回できるのでストレスはありませんでしたね

This game has been reborn. The 2014 Lauch was dissapointing to say the least; however the new Lords of the Fallen is absolutely incredible! This is the greatest take on a souls-like game I have ever played. The way the umbral and vexion realms are blended together and work for progression throughout this game is flawless and a true artwork. Each class offers a truly unique playstyle and the weapons and magic each hit hard in there own way. The time taken for each detail in every different environment is so apparent as the story continues. Boss fights are unique, captivating, and very fun. I highly recommend this game to those who have enjoyed the Dark Souls series and are looking for a fresh new take on an amazing genre of games. 10/10!

Я прошёл игру на все 3 концовки, победил всех боссов, попробовал множество билдов, и мне есть что написать...
Опишу игру через свою призму относительно бывалого игрока.

Игру несправедливо хейтили...
...местами. Так почему же негативный отзыв?

Я не буду оценивать игру за наличие проблем, которые описывают многие. Но упомяну:

---

1. Отсутствие русского языка лечится отдельно скачанным русификатором. Все, у кто не ленится буквально в пару кликов могут это пофиксить. Польские разрабочики часто относятся пренебрежительно к русскому языку. Наверное, это у них в крови...

2. Переиспользование ассетов боссов, превращая их в обычных усиленных мобов. Вот за это игру ругать просто смешно. Вы вообще играли в Elden Ring, который какие-то слепые люди прозвали игрой года? Спасибо, что хотя бы боссы все разные. Есть ещё и опциональные, один секретный. Здесь всё действительно не так плохо.

3. Количество врагов на карте. Да, если спидранить карту и игнорировать врагов, то их можно скопить некоторое количество, но это пофисксили в патче 2.5. Да и до патча их было не сказать, что бы очень много. Вполне проходимо.

4. Скучный финальный босс. Да его всё так же переработали, и теперь там вместо пачки мобов полноценный сильный юнит. Качество его всё так же не блещет, ощущается, что собран на скорую руку, но в целом хорошо.

5. Просто отвратительные условия выполнения квестов. Квест легко провалить если на развилке в рамках одной локации буквально пойти налево, а не направо, и игра об этом ничего не сообщит. В целом на момент написания обзора всё ок. Квест Winterberry пофикшен - не провалился при переходе в лифт, Дамарозу можно пропустить в ущелье без провала квеста...

[h3]Так почему же я НЕ РЕКОМЕНДУЮ?[/h3]

Я опишу несколько моментов, которые заметил, и ещё свежи в памяти. Эти моменты сильно испортили общее впечатление об игре.

1. В патче 2.5 c внесением режима "Ветеран" сломаны достижения Promise Kept, Brought Low, Conqueror of Hardships. После прохождения игры на обычном уровне сложности, и с последующим включением сложности "Ветеран" на НГ+0 достижения выдаются одновременно, до их непосредственного выполнения. Может, для кого-то это не сильно важно, но лично у меня вызвало фрустрацию. Уверен, я не один такой.

2. Ужасная кривая сложности. Это мой не первый souls-like, в котором я "получаю платину". Но здесь действительно неоднозначно работает усиление врагов со временем. Помните Малению из Кольца Элдена? Она действительно была сложнее, чем вся остальная карта, и под неё приходилось адаптироваться. Но это был ОПЦИОНАЛЬНЫЙ босс! Здесь же прекрасный Lightreaper бьёт все рекорды! Мало того что он встречается аж 4 раза за игру, так ещё и убивать его даже с перефармом по уровню - то ещё удовольствие. Поверьте мне, я за три с половиной прохождения перепробовал на нём многие билды и направления прокачки. И знаете что реально сработало? НИЧЕГО! Босс убивается газовыми гранатами и 12-минутными перекатами по всей карте. Да, его можно убить разными типами оружия, но на момент вашей последней встречи герой должен быть неадекватно сильнее, чем все окружающие противники. Большинство типов оружия на нём просто бесполезны. Любители силовых билдов и огромных пушек здесь будут чувствовать себя раздавленными. Туда же мог бы и отнести босса Генерал Энгстром. Особенно на сложности Ветеран он даёт прикурить. И всё так же убивается когтями (чтобы анимация удара не тормозила героя) и газовыми гранатами. Но к последнему нет вопросов, он опциональный.

3. Из-за Lightreaper все последующие боссы вплоть до финального выглядят как какая-то шутка. Даже если вы играете на сложности Ветеран, и уже прошли сего чудесного босса, считайте, что ваша игра на этом закончилась. Дальше будет небольшая пробежка до финала, где толпа мобов в Замке Брамиса будет самым страшным препятствием.

4. Сломанные условия получения предметов/выполнения квестов:
Жест "Насмешка" у Дамарозы я пытался получить 4 раза. Выполнял все условия, как описывают гайды. И ничего. У людей бывали случаи, когда не срабатывал триггер завершения игры в самом конце на умбральной концовке. Это пофиксили, но это отличный показатель уровня качества сего проекта. И до сих пор есть софтлоки, блокирующие элементы квестов. Например, то же получение топоров Генерала Энгстрома...

5. Сплошное паразитирование на чужих идеях. Игра копирует даже не столько себя, сколько чужие произведения. Вы видели финальную карту Bleak Faith Forsaken и Аббатство святых сестер здесь?
Шлем в виде конуса. Знаете как его называют в народе? "Шлем из Blasphemous". Не сп*здили, хотите сказать? Вызов секретного квеста с использованием жестов перед объектом на карте. Это было крутой механикой в уже достаточно древней Dark Souls, но не в игре 2023 года.
Думаете киллерфича игры с миром Умбры - что-то уникальное? Посмотрите Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver. Это придумали ещё за 24 года до выхода игры! Те же головоломки с "исчезающей" водой при переходе в другой мир были раньше, и ощущались интереснее.

6. Думаете здесь есть лор? Да, он есть! Если будете играть за мага через Сияние/Инферно. В противном случае, описание предметов вам недоступно. Прощай силовой билд...
Если хотите поиграть в игру и погрузиться в историю событий, смотрите гайды. Ибо как продвинуть квест одного из центральных персонажей истории интуитивно непонятно от слова совсем. Надевать сет какой-то там леди на, даже если у тебя персонаж мужского пола - это явно перебор. Механику сп*здили примерно из Demon Souls, пришив её в игру как копыто между глаз корове. Эффектно! Но зачем?

7. Незначительный нюанс, но меня зацепило. На втором прохождении я решил перекачаться, и посмотреть в-принципе все возможности билдов. Так вот вопрос. Почему "большие мечи" с значительно более медленной анимацией (что зачастую смертельно, особенно на боссах) имеют урон едва ли не меньший, чем "длинные мечи"? Зачем вообще делать настолько отстающий класс оружия? Ладно магия может быть сильнее "ручного" прохождения, но чтоб таак!

8. Отсутствие глубины проработки механик. В процессе получения всех 63-х колец и 22-х медальонов, при их пересчёте я задумался. А какие из них реально полезные? Максимум штук 5. Помните как в Dark Souls Remastered нужно было брать кольцо на защиту от токсинов в Чумном городе? Как выручало кольцо для снижения замедления в воде при битве с Гидрой? Как быстро сжигала магма без кольца на защиту в Изалите? Какой желанный был сет Хавела, и как без кольца его было неудобно носить?
После прохождения игры ТРИ раза, я ни разу не нашёл подходящего предмета, который бы значительно изменял геймплей. Да, был глаз в лампе для абъюза арбалета Дервлы за счёт здоровья. И это всё? Вы ценник игры вообще видели?
Если в игре так много нпс и игра заточена в реиграбельность, почему нельзя сделать сет брони приглушающий звук шагов как в том же Dark Souls для быстрого прохождения карты? Зато не нужных никому модификаторов перманентной смерти накинули в патче 2.5!

9. Третья (умбральная) концовка игры, имея самый сильный потенциал, небольшие сюжетные повороты и прямую связь с игрой Lords of the Fallen 2014 года, реализована самым отвратительным и невнятным способом. Разработчики слили условия её получения через 2 дня после релиза игры. Оно и понятно. До такого бреда додуматься самому практически невозможно. Я шёл по гайдам, окончательно потеряв интерес к происходящему, перестав пытаться хоть что-то связать и понять в своих действиях.

В итоге, если оценивать игру как полный клон по серии Dark Souls, то вышло вполне годно, хоть глубина проработки хромает на обе ноги. [spoiler]Правильнее сказать, вообще без ног ползёт [/spoiler]

А вот если расценивать как самостоятельное произведение, то весьма посредственно. Более самобытными и удавшимися клонами этого жанра я бы назвал Mortal Shell и упомянутый выше Bleak Faith Forsaken. В них хотя бы атмосфера уникальная, и механики разнятся, хоть и имеют общие черты.

at first didn't understand why so much hate and bad review but after playing it i understand now the game, is just hard for nothing , not rewarding for killing anything boss or normal enemy, long farms for lvl up just to not get 1 shoot kill by random enemy or boss, enemy ambush you every corner, 1-2 time it alright but everywhere fak off really, just bad game design, enemy who get stagger only 2-3 hit and get hyper armor and attack you trough you'r attack,

its a bad souls like very hard for nothing not rewarding and only frustration come out from this not recommanded at all even for 10$.

um jogo nota 6, uma coisa bem chata, todo boss que voce mata vc sai da arena vira a esquina o boss literalmente ja esta como mob normal no mapa oque torna o loop infinito de mob boss, de resto e bom... se voce ta procurando um jogo com boss dificil esse nao e o game sao todos bem faceis
