Most confusing game I've ever played. Lol. There are so many different currencies and systems that there's a steep learning curve. As for the gatcha I've not been tempted because as a f2p player they give lots of pretty clothes. Character customization is very good and the graphics are beautiful. The game runs smoothly and I've not had any issues. If you like dress up games with a main story line that you follow then you will like Life Makeover.

Доброго времени суток!
Да, в игру приходится донатить. Однако детализация для условно бесплатной игры держит хорошую планку, играть очень приятно. Еще один плюс, кстати, частично вытекающий из предыдущего, можно создать разные образы, и главное, поделиться ими. Круто, что в игре предусмотрена своя мини социальная сеть.
Периодами играю, периодами удаляю. Мне кажется, здесь найдется место и взрослым, и подросткам.
Единственное я бы добавила любовный интерес для героини (или я пока до этого не дошла), но и без все нормально. Просто бывает скучно, когда стабильно раз в сутки заходишь в игру.

Fun dress-up game with a high amount of customization. Love the different styles and combinations. My only real complaint is the time lock of hard mode fashion collecting taking several days. I don't mind 1 day but having to wait 3 days to continue the story is unnecessary.

Love this game, I play it all the time, but the PC version needs a left-handed cursor option.
Also I'm 100% here for the idea of having avatars that are not just female, as an enby person who's a bit more andro/masc-presenting. I’m really late to the game, but I would like to write down this review from the perspective of someone who just started playing Life Makeover.

I picked it up about two weeks ago, and even though I’ve only finished the first chapter so far, I’ve genuinely had such a nice time with it. It’s funny because I have a friend who started playing on launch day, and here I am, only just discovering what pulled so many people in.

Here are a few things that stood out to me as a new player:
[h3] [b] 💄 Detailed Character Customization [/b] [/h3]
The character customization in this game is so dangerously detailed. I ended up spending a good three hours overthinking things like how my character’s eyes should look, what exact shade of hair color felt right, and even the angle of her nose bridge, as if anyone is realistically going to zoom in, analyze it, and judge my entire personality based on that.

Well… realistically, no one might. But if someone does end up judging this review instead, please go easy on me if you see this.

[h3] [b] 📘 Story Immersion and First Impressions [/b] [/h3]
I’ve only just finished the first chapter, so my experience with the main story is still very early. That said, I genuinely enjoyed my time with it.

The first chapter takes the angle of an idol girl group, which is something many of us are already familiar with. Because of that, it feels accessible and easy to settle into. You don’t need to learn an entirely unfamiliar world from scratch, as you can quickly understand the dynamics, the expectations, and the pressure surrounding that kind of environment.

What surprised me most was that the story is fully voiced. The voice acting adds a layer of immersion that makes conversations feel more alive, and it helps the emotional moments land more naturally.

There also seems to be a potential love interest being introduced early on. Although, between him and the parfait he was holding in one scene… I have to admit I was slightly more distracted by the parfait.

I’m curious to see where the story goes from here, especially if it continues to build on the idol theme while expanding into something deeper. Even just from the first chapter, it already feels more immersive than I initially expected from a fashion-focused game.

[h3] [b] 👗 When “Random Styling” Somehow Works [/b] [/h3]
Like most fashion games, progressing through the story requires you to follow specific themes to unlock the next chapter. And yes, I’ve definitely had moments in other dress-up games where I completely throw aesthetics out the window and just rapidly click on any item that fits the theme so I can get through a certain stage.

It’s not my proudest strategy.

However, so far in Life Makeover, even when I feel tempted to pull that same ultimate move and just “randomly put something on,” the pieces in this game work together so well that I somehow still end up looking stylish. Instead of feeling like I committed a fashion crime just to pass a level, I actually feel like I put together something intentional.

There’s something about the design consistency of the outfits that makes even quick styling attempts look cohesive. So even if I’m progressing at my usual slightly chaotic pace, I don’t walk away feeling like the destroyer of style anymore.

[h3] [b] 🎀 Gacha Concerns as a New Player [/b] [/h3]
Since the game has been out for quite some time, I’ll admit I was a little worried about starting “too late.” I assumed I must have already missed so many beautiful limited outfits, and I was fully expecting to be quietly crying while scrolling through past banners featuring pieces I would have absolutely wanted for my character.

However, after exploring the gacha system a bit more, I noticed there are multiple banners available, and some past ones do return as reruns. That made the experience feel much less intimidating as someone who’s just starting out. It gave me some reassurance that even if I missed something, there’s still a chance it might come back eventually.

They also provide a decent amount of free pulls, in my opinion. So even if you’re not planning to spend, you can still participate in banners using those free pulls and slowly build your wardrobe over time.

Whether the gacha system works for you will ultimately depend on your personal tolerance for it, but as a newer player, I didn’t find it as discouraging as I initially feared.

[h3] [b] 🏠 A House to Live In (Not Just Dress Up In) [/b] [/h3]
Aside from progressing through the main story, participating in events, and taking countless photos of your character in different outfits (which I may or may not have done more than necessary), Life Makeover also gives you the chance to own a fully furnished house.

And it’s not just for decoration.

You can actually walk around your home freely in whatever outfit you prefer and interact with different parts of the space. There are small life-simulation activities like cooking meals, washing your hands, sitting on the sofa, wandering around with your mount, and other little interactions that make the space feel more lived in.

So if you want to dress like you’re about to attend a red carpet event and then immediately head to the kitchen to cook a simple home meal, be my guest.

[h3] [b] ☕ Final Thoughts [/b] [/h3]
Even though I’m very late to the game and still early in the story, I’ve genuinely enjoyed my time with Life Makeover so far.

I came in expecting to rush through stages like I usually do in dress-up games, but instead I found myself slowing down, carefully adjusting tiny details in character creation, paying attention to outfits, and actually feeling more confident in my styling choices.

It’s not a perfect system, and whether the gacha works for you will depend on your own preferences. But as a new player, I didn’t feel discouraged for starting late. If anything, I felt comfortable taking my time.

The format is only for vertical devices so all of it looks wonky on desktop. Every character looks like a different art style which makes me question if they used actual artists. The voice acting was the best part of the game. The tutorial took forever and I still did not finish it. Also there is not enough gameplay versus story in my opinion.

Úgy gondolom hogy aki szeretné a sims4et grafikai szteroiddal tolni, annak ez egy nagyon jó játék lehet.
Annak aki nagy figyelmet szentel a karakter személyre szabhatóságára ez egy tökéletes játék, akár jobb is mint az Infinity Nikki.
Az egyedüli con amit fel tudok elleni hozni hogy hiányzik belőle az open world aspektus, természetesen ez nem mindenkinek a kenyere, én személy szerint viszont hiányolom.

Illetve az optimalizáció egy kérdéses dolog, nekem keményen megdolgoztatja a masinát és ez kimondottan aggaszt.

Their customer support is much to be desired. I'm still waiting for a top-up (payment) issue to be resolved after waiting for more than 7 weeks.
I tried to purchase a $2.99 "Tour of Unknown" pack (with a pretty cauldron) on Dec 18th 2025, but due to some bug (I don't know whether it was Steam or LM one) my money was taken (I have Steam receipt), but I didn't get the pack items. After submitting a ticket via internal customer support system, I received an initial generic "we will look into it" reply. I was asking follow up questions regarding the status of the ticket (because the ticket will automatically close after 5 days of support's response if YOU don't follow up). SILENCE for weeks.
Then I wrote an e-mail to customer support that's listed on Steam on Jan 27th 2026. Another week of silence. Then I raised another ticket on Feb 1st 2026 via internal CS, they promised to escalate it, but because I didn't send follows up the ticket got automatically closed after 5 days!
After almost 2 months, there is still no resolution, or even regular updates. I've donated over 3,500.00 GBP to Life Makeover since the launch of the global server on Google Play in May 2025 (paying roughly £100 per month), and this is what I get. I think it's ridiculous how 1 silly bug can't be solved for over 7 weeks.

В игре есть пара городков (от бичевских до элитных), где вы за нн-е количество валюты покупаете участок/дом и там устраиваете тусовку со своим кланом/друзьями и какими-то рандомами. В доме можно переписываться, попускать друг друга, есть анимированные взаимодействия, можно бегать и даже почти драться. Не удивлюсь, если там и БДСМ клубы есть с виртом. В целом игра рассчитана на девочек 12 лет, но можно встретить взрослых и даже мужчин с сильно развитым чувством эстетики. На момент моего окончания игры в ней не было возможности создать мужских персонажей, перед вами ограничение в виде роста, вы либо красивая барби, либо лоли. Так что понять что за собеседник перед тобой пока он сам не напишет - нет возможности 100%. Можно сказать, что количество ползунков при настройке персонажа настолько велико, что из женщины легко можно сделаться мужчиной (ну немного женоподным, но кто мы такие чтобы осуждать). Но шмот выпускался только женский и парням оставалось либо играть на женском персе, либо делать около-мужскую версию и ходить в каком-нибудь юката или другом халате азиатского стиля.

Почему всё-таки минус реп? Ну потому что это дикая гача. Игра даёт возможность собирать пустяковые сеты, затравливает тебя красивой частью шикарного временного образа и вынуждает донатить, чтобы собрать весь. Региональные цены присутствуют, так, например, для турков подпиcюн на отличный фарм для крутилок будет стоить где-то 300 рублей в месяц, когда бедняги из СНГ будут донатить минимум по 10 бачей и это не даёт гаранта, что вы выбьете то, что нужно (порой легче купить). Всякие подписки дают лишь увеличенную валюту для круток (они ж алмазики). В конечном итоге вы будете заходить в игру чтобы собрать фарм с города/покормить кота (как тамагочи)/крутануть бесплатку/написать в клан что вы живы и повторить через сутки, пока в конце недели не нафармите чуть больше, чем достаточно для крутки элитки, после чего слиться в слезах, когда вам упадет юзлесс вещь даже не из донатной помойки. Плюс дичайший минус в том, что задания тоже имеют своё ограничение. Если не донатите и не получаете достаточное количество алмазов, то вы даже по сюжетке сдвинуться далеко не можете, так как каждое задание это плата алмазиками. Хз сколько-то часов я тут потратила и даже приятно провела время, но игровая рутина так достала, что плюсы не перекрыли негативную сторону.

Не знаю кто оставлял очень положительные обзоры, наверное люди с 5 классами образования, без обид.
С самого захода игра не дала даже зайти в настройки и уменьшить громкость, постоянное обучение, которое невозможно скипнуть чтобы банально посмотреть что дает эта игра. Это не песочница от слова совсем, это просто улучшенная версия мобильного "Клуба Романтики". Кстати говоря о мобильниках, только спустя 2,5 часа попыток посмотреть что есть в игре после окончания обучения я поняла, что это просто мобильная игрушка, от которой комп пердит как вертолет. НЕ рекомендую к скачиванию, только если вы не ребенок 5 лет, которому нравится смотреть как 2д тянки с ними разговаривают.

Me lo he instalado hoy sin muchas expectativas y me ha gustado mucho, es como un medio sims4 con un nikki dress up. Es una mezcla muy interesante que te permite hacer muchas cosas: diseñar tu casa, diseñar y vestir a tu personaje.... Además de que es medio mundo abierto(?) No lo he probado pero puedes hablar con gente, eso si no se si pueden venir a visitarte o jugar con ellos, pero creo que sí o en un futuro se podrá pues en los anuncios de los desarrolladores ponen cosas que les faltan que meter y en esas esta el apartado de sociabilidad.

Añadir que hay modo historia en la que debes de vestir a tu personaje como te indiquen y te dan un puntaje. Eso sí el puntaje va acorde a las etiquetas y nivel de las prendas porque no te evalua si las prendas que tienes combinan o no. Hay modo "hard" de niveles en modo historia. Puedes "fusionar ropa" para crear otra.... Las opciones de modelaje de tu personaje son bastante buenas también y diría que las suficientes y necesarias pues te da muchas opciones de personalización pero no tantas para que estes 2 horas en el diseño de tu personaje, que por cierto no se si se pueda cambiar después pero por el momento en el nivel 13 no se puede cambiar tu personaje, asi que escoged bien!

Esto lo estoy suponiendo yo, pero creo que también hay personajes con los que puedes ligar y seguir su ruta.

Bueno, que en conclusión: muy contenta y bastante entretenida. Es una maravilla para que sea gratis vaya.

i really enjoy this game. a lot of other fashion games are very 'pink princess' centered, but life makeover has a really good diversity in styles. there are lots of free outfits to work towards, and the character customisation is EXCELLENT. you have to work to move away from the initial childlike look, but you can get a lot of mileage out of it,

there is a strong gacha element but it's far from the worst i've seen (nikki games, heartopia, genshin). you can get a lot of free currency if you do your dailies. they also give out free 6* outfits every so often (i've been playing about 8 months and have 3 free ones).

the housing feature is surprisingly fun too. it's very rough and is missing some nice features, but it can definitely keep you occupied.

People are very nice and kind, you get clothes and different styles pretty easily, so no need to use real money.
Most thing i reaaly like, is your own home you can decor and friends can come and go. You can also have pets, and those are my second favorite thing in this game.

I have put over 1,000 hours in this game and after upgrading my PC I just can't open the game anymore. I'll try to start the game and it won't open anything and will just cancel the start of my game. I don't even want to disclose how much money I've spent on this game either but I'm so upset that it has been over 6 months since I've been able to play. All my pets are probably dead and I've had no other option because this game is unreasonably large for a phone. I have NEVER experienced this with a game before and I'm just defeated at this point with this game.

I've been playing this game for some months now, and it immediately got me hooked. So I'd like to share a few ups and downs about it.
-----------Positive-----------

1. The character creation. Simply wonderful, letting you make your own face and body type, it is a blessing especially when most games like this can only edit the face or non at all. Not to mention you can edit it any time you wish, for free, so If you make a silly mistake you can always fix it.

2. Variety of clothes and dye options. The details on each simple piece is absolutely stunning, you can even notice the materials they're made out of, and the colors you can dye, basically unlimited. But for some items you will need to get dupes to unlock the dye you want.

3. Fair ranking system. Yes. The one's who pay are on top, but, it's fair to everyone because the outfits you can obtain from such events are not locked behind rank, but behind grind. The only things high ranking players get are simply more materials, so they'll be able to complete a set faster just (and some cosmetics for something not related to fashion).

4. A lot of free outfits that are absolutely gorgeous and not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Almost each event you can do has beautiful items, even the lower rarity ones.

5. Free 15 pulls for each new limited gacha!

6. Free gorgeous items you can get to decorate your house by just playing.

-----------Negative-----------

1. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ building system. Just the logic behind itz it's absolutely awful. I have lost my mind on how many times I pressed the esc button and it takes me back to homepage. Horrible visibility of items when you try to put them, the green bar it's too bright for some items, and oh the celling light is a struggle since you can't freely move the camera to your liking always. It simply feels like an unfinished projects, something they added and didn't had the time to care enough about it. Really struggled to decorate my house, I don't want to imagine building it.

2. Lack of diamonds after you have completed the early game. Sure you can get them from story, and completing sets from story, but they're not endless. I wish they were a bit more generous with them, even though you can get them by daily stuff and events sometimes. But, you will not be able to complete a set you'd like from a gacha unless you save up for a really long time, or pay.

[h1] Life makeover – как стать дизайнером [/h1]
Игра Life Makeover представляет собой некий гибрид симуляторов жизни по типу The Sims 4, типичных игр-одевалок с мобилок. Ради интереса я наиграл в эту корейскую субстанцию 200 часов чистого геймплея, так что могу с уверенностью вынести свой вердикт, стоит ли вообще скачивать что-то подобное.

Начать бы я хотел с того, что является образующим в этом проекте, а именно с «Моды». Здесь это некий ранг прокачки, то есть чтобы открывать больше игровых возможностей – надо проходить ивенты, читать сюжет, крутить гачу. Сама механика не представляет ничего серьезного, у вещей есть категории, у заданий есть категории, совмещаешь первое со вторым – получаешь пройденный уровень. Однако тут есть еще одна функция – помощники, это такие карточки, которые дают буст на определенные категории вещей, например: +20% к «круто» или +50% к «нежно», это достаточно сильно влияет на результат, так что надо постоянно качать карточки, которых тут много и вложений они требуют тоже немалых.

В плане кастомизации игра хороша, редактор позволяет настроить многие аспекты внешности, начиная от бровей, заканчивая длиной стоп. В отношении одежды тоже присутствует кастомизация, однако она обрезана необходимостью открывать палитры цветов, на которые также придется фармить. Сам гардероб в игре достаточно большой, за 200 часов, наверное, и половины не собрал. Присутствует функция фотосессий, можно сделать весьма красивые фотографии на аватарку или выложить во внутриигровую соцсеть. Можно построить собственный дом, оформить интерьер/экстерьер, завести животное (которое однажды обязательно умрет от старости), в общем, можно делать очень много чего. Отсюда и вытекает главная проблема игры – очень много возможностей, но мало интеграций в геймплейную составляющую, то есть, можно просто зайти, проходить исключительно сюжет и даже не знать о том, какие в игре еще есть функции. Сюжет, кстати, не вызывает особых эмоций, хотя там в стилистике новеллы интегрировали и детектив, и загадки, и боевик, и много чего еще. Музыкально в игре особо ничего нет, базовые фоновые мелодии корейского производства.

В общем, основные проблемы игры это нагруженность контентом и ограничения, заставляющие нудно фармить ресурсы для прокачки карточек персонажей. В качестве развлечения на несколько десятков часов игра годится. Да и для бесплатной игры все замечательно, красиво, разнообразно, просто.

You might be struggling with photo frames on the PC version like I did, where you take a picture with a frame, but it doesn't show up when you save it. If you want to see frames in your saved photos, make sure that your "HD Camera Settings" is turned off. It's on the right side of the photo screen.

Other than that, I love this game. I wish the gatcha was much cheaper though >.<'
