An extremely fun, if sometimes convoluted, sequel to Wet Dreams Don't Dry. The only things letting it down were the frequent crashes (though thankfully, this one quicksaves every time you enter a new location) and the final puzzle, which over stayed it's welcome a little.

Over all, really fun, and I'd definitely recommend picking it up, though wait for a sale if you're not a die hard P&C Game fan

Same as the last game, the attention to subtitles is lacking, this time even worse. I'm talking in game with the Emma NPC, and she literally just said the same voice line twice, but the subtitles said something different. Here was the interaction:

Also the game crashed to desktop on me, admittedly only once, but it happened, after making the buffet vegan.

What the hell is this slop? I have also encountered other problematic subtitles/translation issues for English, but didn't keep notes; this one was so egregious that I wanted to document it, this interaction was slop and honestly how did devs miss that? Literally worse than "all your base are belong to us", at least the legendary memeable mistranslation was an "e" for effort, this right here is just downright lazy. And I may come off harsh harping for this long, but this was a problem in the last game, egregiously, on multiple occasions, to the point where it makes the studio look like reckless stewards of the beloved series. It's just really really lazy. I gave the last game a pass ultimately on this issue, and ultimately gave it a thumbs up review, but to do crummy subtitles [i]again[/i], I'm not giving it a pass a second time.

EDIT: After finishing the game, I can honestly say there were literally over 50 occurrences of translation issues, no exaggeration. The game itself is good, the puzzles are good, the story is good, but the translation issues are so egregiously bad they ruin the experience scene by scene, over 50 times. It's like an issue that just keeps nagging at you, and as soon as you have a good stretch of the story without these issues, another one pops up and pulls you out of immersion.

I had three crashes to desktop over the course of the game, all of which happened when switching areas/going through a door/elevator.

At the credits, there was a brief moment about 1 second long where, just before the credits started to roll, it showed all credits all at once, smashed together on the screen, overlapping, like a giant blob of text. After the credits, you're returned to the main menu screen, which is fine, but the main menu music starts up and the credits music doesn't stop, and you end up with 2 overlapping songs and have to quit the game to get it to go away.

There's just overall a ton of really rough around the edges type stuff, and as mentioned, the RIDICULOUSLY egregious and RIDICULOUSLY often English translation issues, it seems like whoever was in charge of QA/Managing the game honestly didn't really seem to give a flying ♥♥♥♥ about polish, and that's a shame - it's what ultimately made me have to give a negative review, as the lack of polish and tightness seems like an insult to the customer and the franchise.

But to end on a positive note, it is a good game if you can ignore the immersion breaking roughness of it so often. I'd even go as far as to say it is the most ambitious and epic-like Larry game to date, with some fantastic puzzles decent jokes, good story, good art, and good voice acting. I'd say it's the longest Larry game to date, with the most wild and fun twists.

One of the puzzles involves lacing a girls drink with urine. Apparently the developers think it's funny to make people drink p*ss.

Uninstalled the game at that point.
There is a gigantic difference between being adult-themed (wasn't looking for that, anyway - just for an old-fashioned 2D point&click) and outright sadistic/psychopathic.

This is one of the most difficult adventure games I've played in the recent years. I enjoyed quite a bit, but there were occasions where I got items I had no clue where I needed them and cases where I spent 5-6 hours just trying to use everything everywhere. I stuck only one occasion, where I knew what I should do but the final piece of the puzzle was hidden so well that I had missed one of the audio clues as I got frustrated with the game and played without audio for hours.

In short, some of the puzzles would require multiple stages, so you'd vaguely know what you need, but then there were multiple requirements to fullfill in the puzzle, hence my solution would not work until all the pieces were put together. It would've helped if Larry had thought aloud what must be done next. Also, there are sudden deaths that put you through the same death screen and animation that you cannot skip. It's fun exactly that one time, after which it becomes annoying.

While I enjoyed most of the game, I cannot understand the decision to put a maze at the end of the game, which is some of the most stupid design choices from the 90's PnC games. The devs explained in the discussions that people complained that the first game was too easy. Yeah, they amped up the difficulty to maximum and put this stupid maze at the end you need to navigate multiple times. It's not particularly difficult and you can just save scum it through easily, but it's still there. Also the final 1/4th of the game falls short in the end including this crappy maze.

In short: recommended game for 3/4 th of the time if you want to challenge your brain with some quite difficult puzzles, but I recommend save-scumming through the maze.

Una gran secuela y que concluye bien su historia y esta a la altura de su predecesor, este juego es un poco más largo que el anterior y sus chistes son igual de buenos que su predecesor el único pero que le pongo a este juego es el nivel del laberinto que se mi hizo tedioso de hacer, no es difícil pero te dan ganas de terminar rápido ese nivel, pero fuera de eso alto juegazo, ojala que no saquen una secuela, porque siento que no lo necesita desde mi punto de vista o si es que lo van a hacer que sea en un futuro lejano, otro problema que tiene es que se crashea cada cierto tiempo, asi que sugiero que guarden la partida cada media hora aprox., totalmente recomendable el juego. Leisure Suit Larry – Wet Dreams Dry Twice ist eine gelungene Fortsetzung zu „Wet Dreams Don't Dry.“ Da es sich um eine reine Fortsetzung handelt, sollte man Dry Twice aber erst spielen, wenn man den Vorgänger durchgezockt hat. Auch der Schwierigkeitsgrad wurde seit dem letzten Spiel spürbar angehoben und kann für unbedarfte Spieler einen ernsthaften Frustfaktor darstellen. Erfahrende Adventure-Fans freuen sich hingegen über den gestiegenen Anspruch.
Positiv ist auf jeden Fall die Story. Larry verbucht hier überraschend befriedigende Erfolge und bekommt sogar ein richtiges Happy End spendiert. Leider scheiden sich an der Flash-Grafik immer noch die Geister. Meines Erachtens beißt sich das tropische Inselsetting mit diesem Grafikstil, wodurch Dry Twice schwächer aussieht als Don't Dry mit seinem urbanen Setting.
Ansonsten bekommt man halt auch hier wieder ein kompetentes Point & Click-Adventure der alten Schule geboten. Für Fans des Genres und von Larry sollte der Kauf ohnehin ein No Brainer sein.

- recht gelungene Fortführung eines Adventure-Klassikers in der Neuzeit
- bietet viele witzige Situationen und jede Menge Lacher
- führt die Story zu einem befriedigenden Ende, außerdem ist Larry in diesem Teil überraschend erfolgreich
- tolle deutsche Sprachausgabe
- hohe Spieldauer von ca. 15 Stunden

Kontra:
- Flash-Grafik
- kleinere Schlampereien (vereinzelte Abstürze, sich wiederholende Aussagen in einigen Dialogen)
- der Labyrinth-Abschnitt gegen Ende ist ziemlich lästig
- Frustgefahr, da der Schwierigkeitsgrad seit dem letzten Teil spürbar angehoben wurde
- ist eine reine Fortsetzung, ist eigentlich nur für Kenner des Vorgängers geeignet

Positiv: Witzig , komplett auf Deutsch
Negativ: Wie beim ersten (neuen) Teil stürzt das Game einfach zwischendurch ab.
Zudem ist es nach dem Anfang (tutorial) ziemlich schwer.
Mir fehlt eine Sache um ins nächste Kapitel zu kommen , keine Hilfe vom Spiel . Man ist gezwungen im Internet nachzugucken. Selbst mit Hilfe aus dem Internet ist die letzte Aufgabe zu schwer.
Für 35 Euro definitiv zu teuer.

The sequel is like the first game but better in almost all ways. I definitely recommend this one.
Around the last part of the game, you have a flappy bird section, a maze section and an old bit section. I'm not against pixelated games, but those sections just felt a bit longer than I wanted.
It seems like this is the last game for Larry, the story is wrapped at the end, but I'd love to see another similar silly game like this.

PS: не знаю как вам, но если бы был выбор, то Фейт была бы последним выбором в списке всех пассий, что встречались в двух последних играх.

Larry has been redesigned and scaled more proportionally while retaining a decidedly cartoon appearance, making him look sort of halfway between the original trilogy and its goofy caricatural follow ups.

The humour remains impressively juvenile, about as mature as a horny teenager, with vagrant anatomy parts and unsavory dildos exposed in nearly every scene without being obscene. Corny dialogues and situations supplement the silliness. No nudity.

Pick up any loose item you come across, and partially solve puzzles before you even know what the problem is. By the time the need arises for a hard-to-find item, it may already be in your inventory, giving the game a rough structure.

Overall it hits the nostalgia factor nicely with several nods to the old school days of point and click adventure gaming. The developers really studied their source material and produced a faithful passion project. The game even opens with stupid 90s pop culture age-related questions to "prove" the player's age, another wink to the original (this time they can be skipped or googled).

This direct sequel plays to the strengths of its predecessor with several small improvements, and a host of new irritants to an otherwise enjoyable game. Its intro retells and spoils all of the previous game, even makes fun of it, while many insides throughout the game also make direct references.

More of an adventure and less obsessively always about looking for sex all in all the wrong places, though there's that too. Tons more references to old Sierra and Monkey Island games give a huge boost to the nostalgia factor.

Can now take pictures of things that are too large to carry around. This feature is only used a handful of times and feels superfluous given the number of jokes about the size of Larry's pockets.

A more useful To Do app replaces the previous game's Timber for good effect. Unfortunately, not all tasks are tracked equally, and some critical details are sometimes missing from the list, especially in the game's latter labyrinth segment.

Gameplay still has a very good flow most of the time, though this game has more far-fetched solutions. The game still lacks directional indications in certain cases where it would have been easy for Larry or his Pi assistant to insert subtle hints in the dialogue.

The Blueprints app acts as an oversized inventory combination interface where the player must find exact matches or sufficient replacement parts. An original idea that could have been further developed into something more challenging or stimulating.

Was ist besser als ein Cumback? Natürlich ein zweites und exakt ein solches legt Möchtegern-Playboy Larry Laffer hiermit offiziell hin. Zum Ende des Vorgängers musste er mit ansehen, wie seine geliebte...oder eher "begehrte" Faith den Abgang in den Ozean hinlegt und sich unfreiwillig auf und davon macht. Jedoch hat er nie die Hoffnung aufgegeben, sie könnte noch irgendwo am Leben sein und tatsächlich empfängt er ein Datenpaket, dass ihn auf ein tropisches Archipel führt. Dort lauern nicht nur ein heruntergekommenes Luxushotel, seltsames Personal und Kannibalen, sondern auch eine zu allem bereite Ex-Geheimagentin mit bitterbösem Auftrag auf ihn. Und ehe Larry sich versieht, hängt mal wieder das Schicksal der ganzen Weltbevölkerung an seinem Intellekt.

Wer den Vorgänger "Wet Dreams Don´t Dry" mochte, wird sicher auch mit der Fortsetzung seine Freude haben. Wie gehabt kann sich "Larry" auf eine knuffige visuelle Präsentation, eine exzellente Vertonung (mit Philipp "Barney Stinson" Moog und anderen bekannten Synchronstimmen) und größtenteils solide Rätsel verlassen. Die leicht höhere Spielzeit verdankt "Wet Dreams Dry Twice" jedoch eher einigen nervigen Wegen (u.a. ein Labyrinth im letzten Spielviertel) als echten Inhalten, was für mich eine dezente Schwäche darstellt. Ebenfalls unangenehm fielen einige unnachvollziehbare Programmabstürze auf, wenngleich der Einfluss auf den Fortschritt, auf Grund der ordentlichen Autospeicherung, nicht zu derbe ist. In der Regel konnte ich fast von der Szene an, in der der Absturz erfolgte, weiterspielen. Nervig ist es trotzdem, insbesondere im bereits erwähnten Labyrinth.

Ein passables Ende der neuaufgelegten Abenteuer des 80er-Frauenhelden.

🍸 Review: Leisure Suit Larry – Wet Dreams Dry Twice – Guter Larry, schlechte Technik (Leider ein Nein)

Vom Humor, Stil und Vibe her ist Wet Dreams Dry Twice eigentlich ein echt starker Larry-Teil.
Die verbesserten Quests, der flüssigere Ablauf und die ganze Larry-Comedy haben mir richtig gefallen. Inhaltlich macht das Game vieles besser als der Vorgänger.

ABER:
Technisch war’s für mich ein Totalausfall.

Ich hatte extrem viele Gamecrashes, die im ersten Teil nie vorkamen.
Und dann kam der Killer:
Ab der Pixel-Sequenz „Leisure Suit Larry Went Looking for Love (In the Right Place!)“ war mein Save komplett kaputt.
Der Fernseher-Event hat nicht mehr funktioniert, alles war verbuggt, und ich musste weit zurücksetzen.
Jedes Mal, wenn’s lief, kam wieder ein neuer Crash.

So sehr ich den Humor und die Welt liebe — mit diesen technischen Problemen kann ich es leider nicht empfehlen.

Fazit:
Geiler Larry-Vibe, aber technisch einfach nicht spielbar genug.
Für mich: Daumen runter, auch wenn’s inhaltlich viel Potenzial hat und mir sonst sehr Spass gemacht hat.

Great sequel to the other LSL game by the same developers. It had a similar game feel and overall humor which was great in the first game.

For a fun puzzle/seek and find style game that can go about 9-10 hours on average, it is worth a purchase and play. There are throwbacks to the first game, so definitely play that one first to get certain jokes in the sequel.

It does have some slightly irritating parts of the game, but after a while the game allows you to skip those parts with no loss to the story or achievements.

While I didn't recommend the first "new-age" Leisure Suit Larry game I'm surprised to find myself moderately recommending the second. It improves upon what was made in the first (solid bits of QOL all around) and it even takes the quirky, wall breaking, hyper-sexualized content established in the first story and smooths it out to make a pretty solid follow up.

It's like a YES, I do recommend it but only if you could stomach the first game (being a sequel and all) if not, maybe play a different point-and-click.

Eigentlich ganz gut wobei der erste Teil der Wet Dreams Serie meiner Meinung nach besser war.
Ein paar der Rätsel waren nicht gut gemacht und für mich nicht logisch, auch hatte ich ca 5 crashes und kleinere bugs.
Trotzdem habe ich beide Spiele der Reihe nun durch.

Kann das Spiel mit einer 7/10 empfehlen.

This was much more enjoyable than I expected! The plot continues from the first part of the game as it's been remade, there's a tip of the cap to all the old fans in so many ways. The cliche humour, the penis shapes in everything, the tongue in cheek lampooning of modern day things. It's great. Puzzles can get quite hard in parts but the game also goes easy on you for the really hard ones (hee hee, hard ones).
The story has a nice send off to Larry and it's nothing less than deserved. Soundtrack and voice acting do the job and there's a decent chunk of nudity compared to the original games.
Plus 8 bit booby babe pictures as easter eggs for the OG fans.
If you've ever enjoyed a LSL game you owe it to yourself to get this!

Ich hab Wet Dreams Don’t Dry geliebt richtig gute Gags, charmant schlüpfrig, nicht zu viel, nicht zu wenig. Genau die perfekte Mischung aus Fremdscham und Lacher.

Dann kam Wet Dreams Don’t Dry Twice … und tja, sagen wir’s so: Larry wollte wohl seinen eigenen Humor übertreffen ist dabei aber mit Vollgas in die Geschmacklosigkeitskurve gerutscht. 🚗💥

Wo Teil 1 noch mit cleveren Anspielungen und witzigen Dialogen punktete, ist Teil 2 eher:
„Haha... oh... äh... das war jetzt irgendwie unangenehm.“

Es fühlt sich an, als hätten sie versucht, jeden Gag doppelt so dreckig zu machen aber vergessen, ihn auch doppelt so lustig zu machen. Statt Lachen gab’s bei mir öfter ein „Uff unangenehm“.
Die Story ist okay, das Gameplay gewohnt solide, aber der Charme? Irgendwo zwischen Ibiza und Fremdscham verloren gegangen.

Wet Dreams Dry Twice follows on perfectly from Wet Dreams Don't Dry, the story line is so solid and the game is mega fun to play, in fact both games are surprisingly good, it's all about talking to people, taking everything you can and run errands to get people to do what you want.

Anno az amigás időkben oda voltak a játék humorától amikkel akkoriban nem játszottam az angol nyelv miatt. De ez szerintem még csak nem is a fárasztó humor kategória (a Fire tetszett és jókat is röhögtem néha, pedig az sokszor fárasztó volt) , hanem csak nem humoros, sokszor tré altesti gyökérség.
A gameplay olyan mint a legtöbb "kaland" játékban sajnos. Sok a pofázás (néha már rohadt unalmasak is), kevés fejtörő, kevés tennivaló, és lapos (talán így lehet a legjobban leírni).
A fejtörők is inkább baromságok mint valódi logikát igénylő minijátékok. A tárgy használatok vagy kombinálások tök logikátlanok, ami ha lenne bennük humor is gázosak lennének, de még csak nem is viccesek hanem 99%-ban tré baromságok.
A játékot a végen a másodjára elinduló napnál hagytam abba (a legvégén). Elegem lett belőle.

The sequel to CrazyBunch's Leisure Suit Larry - Wet Dreams Don't Dry, this game is probably the unofficial conclusion to the franchise. They seemed to have ended the series on a bittersweet note but still positive. This is also proven with the fact that CrazyBunch shut down in 2024, so unless a new developer team or publisher buys the rights, Leisure Suit Larry is dead for now. I enjoyed the game for the most part, just light hearted fun with Larry's shenanigans. Yes, its not akin to the original games in the series but I don't think its trying to be.

Like the prequel, this game has horrible crashing issues and seems to be more unstable. I would highly recommend saving consistently so you don't have to redo progress too much. Also the game has missable achievements, so be wary if you are achievement running it. At full price the game is simply not worth it. At 95% off, its 95% worth it.

Якщо перша була розігрівом і знайомством, то друга — це вже повноцінний курорт абсурду та пригод. Чомусь я пройшов спочатку другу частину і тільки потім першу.

Більш розгорнуте та насичене продовження, яке робить ставку на масштабність і розвиток сюжету, але місцями втрачає ту щиру простоту й кумедність першої частини.

Перша частина коротша, але більш камерна й акцентована на гуморі, особливо на невдачах Ларрі з дівчатами. Друга частина довша, складніша і насиченіша, однак у гонитві за масштабом трохи втратила той легкий шарм, що був у старті серії.

So, I read a negative review: “Larry is wondering how to 'connect' Fate to the alien machine—it's just disturbing; it made me feel anxious.”
This is such a stupid joke, really. And that’s the point, you moron.

If toilet humour and extremely stupid or sexist jokes make you sick or anxious, maybe you shouldn’t be playing this game in the first place. It’s like complaining about guns in Call of Duty or that there's a ball in EA FC. Come on.

Larry is sexist, old, and full of toilet jokes—some of them land, some don’t—but that’s fine, it's on the edge. If you're a snowflake who can’t understand that humor is subjective and varies from person to person, then don’t play it. What’s weird or offensive to you might be hilarious to someone else.

The game is fun, especially if you grew up on point-and-click adventures like I did. I haven’t finished many of them, but this one kept me curious about what’s next. And yes, there are a few dumb jokes—but that doesn’t mean the whole game is bad.

And the guy behind Larry's series… yeah, he’s got nothing to do with this actual game. He's kind of a weirdo. Don’t Google him.

Проблема Wet Dreams Dry Twice в том, что она пытается казаться больше, чем есть на самом деле. Повсеместный реюз ассетов и персонажей прошлой части, которых здесь и быть не должно. Экономия и нехватка бюджета видна не вооруженным взглядом, что постоянно и обыгрывается каламбурами и пробиванием четвертой стены. Несмотря на искусственную затянутость и спорные дизайнерские решения — лабиринты, утомительный бэктрекинг и неуместную мини-игру в духе Flappy Bird, — продолжение умудряется предложить несколько новшеств и достойно завершает дилогию.

Из игры исчезла романтика попаданца в современный мир, из-за чего основной сюжет кажется банальным и местами туповатым. Вместо этого в декорациях и диалогах заметна ставка на откровенность и чернушность, которые, хоть и подаются с долей юмора, всё же оставляют лёгкое чувство недоумения. Ночные огни Лох-Вегаса сменились тропическими островами и соответствующим антуражем: древние руины, пиратская тематика и каннибалы. Сатирические отсылки к современности присутствуют в достатке, от поглощения Китайскими корпорациями бизнеса до отшельников-криптомайнеров, но в целом юмор здесь на порядок хуже. Нету того культурного контраста между Ларри и окружением, нету крутых игр слов от которых я угорал как черт, когда вся ветка диалога это крамольная история - все стало проще, площе и без долики остроумия.

Дизайн уровней тоже пострадал. Например, обязательных мини игр не ввели, но с распределительной коробкой вам так или иначе придется повозиться, а это сопряжено с постоянными переходами по карте на одни и те же места, с попыткой понять какого рода изменение произошло. И подобная схема повторяется несколько раз за игру, что добротно убивает к ней интерес и растягивает время. Зачем было добавлять мини игру с самолётиком уму не приложу, если у вас и так ограниченный бюджет. А перед концом игры, когда ты ожидаешь кульминации и яркой развязки нас начинают душить однотипными комнатами-лабиринтами, где нужно сверить интерьер по карте-ключу и выбрать правильную дверь. Разработчики сами понимают, насколько убог такой дизайн и после пары попыток предлагают пропустить этот увлекательный праздник жизни. Повторюсь, если часть игры настолько спорная, что вы делаете ее опциональной и при этом у вас ограниченные ресурсы - зачем так бестолково их расходовать!?

И даже не смотря на ненужное и унылое начало, продолжение достойно вашего внимания. Была добавлена система чертежей, когда ты не просто рандомно комбинируешь предметы в своем инвентаре, а имеешь четкий чертеж с предположительными запчастями нужного тебе аппарата. Это удобно, хорошо сделано и дает больше подсказок игроку в плане направления поисков. Был добавлен список задач, позволяющий видеть все сюжетные подпункты и возвращаясь в игру спустя дни, четко понимать что делать. Даже Пай может давать подсказки, что дает больше ясности игроку, т.е. ловить крыс кондоном не придется. Подобное упрощение было вызвано появлением системы быстрого перемещения по островам, когда область исследований большая и разнообразная, а четкого путеводителя в первой части не было. Визуальный стиль остался таким же мультяшным и насыщенным, так что я с удовольствием разглядывал детали окружения, даже если 90% процентов из них это фаллические символы.

И хотя чаще всего юмор был плоским и тупым, есть в этой части отдельные моменты, которые я буду еще долго вспоминать с теплотой. Если в первой части отношения Ларри и Пай были статичными и основывались на унижении и постоянном осуждении нашего добряка, то здесь появилась динамика, которая переросла в шикарный финал. Где нам буквально предстоит победить этакого адвенчурного "босса", а именно путем проб и ошибок нащупать правильный алгоритм действий и выйти победителем - шикарное завершение дилогии, не говоря уже о том, что это любовное послание оригинальным частям конца 80-х годов. Все что связано с супер-агентом Янмэй и ее сталкеризм за нашим героем - настоящая умора от которой я искренне хохотал всю игру. Чернушный "ведьмачий заказ" на сиsястого призрака на кладбище, попытки раскрыть бутон огромного влагалище-подобного растения и явная отсылка к СНУ-СНУ - замечательно. Получилось неровное, но достойное приключение с отличным завершением.

Okay, I finished the game, and I must say, the humor is disgusting. It's not funny, not cheesy, not cool at all. Puking pig, Jungle with toilets with farting music, having intercourse with a ghost while another character is watching, Larry searching the crotch of a smuggler, this is just a couple of examples that made me want to quit the game. And the scene, where Larry is wondering how to "connect" Fate to the alien machine, is just disturbing; it made me feel anxious.
The same goes for the bot that killed one character with sexual activity and knocked out another one. These things don't mix.
I am sorry, but this is supposed to be funny, but it's not. Nothing like the previous game. And nothing like original games in terms of humor.

This is an excellent sequel, and it has done justice for the franchise. Everything was in it, the corny jokes, the ironically lewd objects and decor, the intrigue, the search for answers and combinations to reveal the next part of the story, the pixelated moments, the one liners and funny comebacks.
Furthermore, the game was pretty long to play, and the story is well thought out. Not to mention the free nostalgia.
The difficulty is quite high though as there are things that I couldn't even fathom to guess at first.
I've really enjoyed this game and it is an excellent Al Lowe style play of Larry.

There's always time for a day of the tentacle reference or something like that. Puzzles are not so hard and not too easy. The plot is pretty refreshing and modern for LSL. I can recommend this game as a nice chill puzzler and having not played the prequel it's made me want to play that now.

Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Dry Twice is a flawed but entertaining sequel. It picks up exactly where the previous game left off, continuing Larry Laffer's absurd and over the top quest to find and rescue Faith. While the game retains much of the charm and humor of its predecessor, it struggles in a few key areas that hold it back from being a fully satisfying sequel. Visually, the game sticks with the same art style as Wet Dreams Don't Dry, which is colorful and cartoonish, and I really like it. The soundtrack is passable. It is full of unremarkable songs. I finished the game twice for the achievements but barely remember any of the songs. The game really falters in its puzzle design. While point & click adventure games are expected to challenge the player, some of the puzzles here are borderline impossible to solve without looking up a guide. The puzzle at the cafeteria, the puzzle to unlock the temple door, and the worst of them all, the labyrinth near the end. I was so close to uninstalling the game. Looking at achievement unlock rates, I can easily understand why most of the people gave up and didn't finish the game. One of the nice touches is the return of many familiar side characters from the previous title. Seeing them again adds a sense of continuity and familiarity. Unfortunately, the newly introduced side characters don’t leave much of an impression. They feel underdeveloped and lack the personality that made the returning cast so enjoyable. Story-wise, the game is engaging enough, offering the kind of ridiculous scenarios that only Larry could find himself in. It’s full of innuendos, silly dialogue, and absurd situations. It has exactly what fans of the series would expect. In the end, Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Dry Twice is a decent game that fans of the franchise will likely enjoy, but it doesn’t quite reach the same level of charm and balance as Wet Dreams Don’t Dry. If I had to recommend just one, I’d definitely go with the previous entry

El juego empieza bien. Especialmente en la parte del hotel, donde Larry se siente como tiene que ser: humor sexual, situaciones absurdas, diálogos ágiles y personajes en su lugar. Tiene su propia identidad. Incluso roza ese tono de Austin Powers, pero con el estilo clásico de Larry, y eso le queda bien.

Después llegan las tres islas. Y ahí empiezan los problemas. No por la estructura abierta ni por los puzzles entre zonas, de hecho, eso fue una gran idea. Volver el juego más complejo y desafiante fue un acierto total. El problema es el contenido. De golpe empezás a abrir tumbas, hacer rituales vudú, tratar con fantasmas... y eso no tiene nada que ver con Larry. No aporta. Son trasplantes de ideas de Monkey Island 2 que no logran adaptarse al tono del juego, y no deberían estar. Y lo peor es que incluso después de esas islas, el juego sigue en esa dirección. Hay una sección que directamente copia la estructura de armar el muñeco vudú de LeChuck. Y hay muchas más referencias del mismo tipo que no nombro, para no spoilear.

Luego llega el tramo final en píxeles. Al principio puede molestar, porque genera ansiedad: da la sensación de que el juego no se termina más. Pero en realidad, y en perspectiva, es uno de los momentos más originales y creativos de todo el juego. La repetición de los días, el diseño de puzzles, el uso de la fantasía: todo está muy bien pensado, es coherente y da gusto resolverlo. De hecho, por momentos dan ganas de que todo el juego hubiese sido así, con esa estética pixelada y ese nivel de inventiva. El problema no es lo que ofrece, sino dónde está ubicado: aparece justo cuando el jugador siente que el final está cerca, y eso hace que no se disfrute en el momento tanto como debería. Aun así, es un acierto rotundo, y reconfirma lo que el juego podía lograr cuando se animaba a ser él mismo.

Aun con sus problemas, la experiencia nunca se vuelve aburrida y tiene momentos donde realmente brilla. Por eso esta crítica también es un desahogo: porque si no fuera por esas decisiones mal tomadas, estaríamos hablando de la mejor aventura gráfica de la década. Pero lo dejaron pasar.

- La estructura abierta y los puzzles entre zonas hacen al juego más complejo y desafiante.
- El humor funciona: directo, sucio, y sin pedir disculpas.
- Diálogos muy bien escritos, ágiles y divertidos.
- Personajes secundarios bien usados y con presencia constante.
- La música es espectacular y acompaña con personalidad.
- La interfaz es cómoda y dinámica.
- El tramo final pixelado es excelente y rescata la identidad de Larry.
- Mejor que su antecesor, que ya estaba bastante bien.

[b] Lo malo: [/b]
- El juego se llena de elementos que no pertenecen al universo Larry (rituales, tumbas, fantasmas).
- Algunas secciones son directamente copiadas de Monkey Island 2.
- Muchos momentos pierden identidad propia.
- Personajes clásicos mal usados: el caso de Lefty es claro. Lo sacan de su rol clásico y lo ponen en situaciones que no le corresponden ni aportan nada a la historia.
- El exceso de inspiración externa afecta lo que podría haber sido un clásico moderno.

Sí, lo recomiendo. Tiene errores y decisiones que duelen, pero es un juego muy disfrutable. Justamente por eso da bronca: porque podía ser mucho más.

Der Humor ist einzigartig Selbstironisch, sexuell und sorgt immer wieder für Lacher.

Die Rätsel sind clever designed und motivieren dazu, kreativ zu denken, ohne frustrierend zu sein.

Durch die liebevoll gestaltete Welt und den kultigen Hauptcharakter erlebt man ein schräges, aber rundum spaßiges Abenteuer.

Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Dry Twice is a fun and silly throwback to classic point-and-click adventures. The art style is bright and charming, and the humor—while definitely on the immature side—fits perfectly with the Larry vibe.

Some of the puzzles were pretty tricky, so expect to do a bit of experimenting or head-scratching. But that’s part of the fun if you're into old-school adventure games.

Overall, it’s a goofy, lighthearted ride that doesn’t take itself too seriously. If you like cheeky humor and classic adventure gameplay, it’s worth playing.

The story and dialogs are terrible, super boring and tiresome, but the game offers lots of puzzles to solve and Larry finally gets some deserved action. The game is a mix between Larry 6 and monkey island and the developers are self aware of it. As a matter of fact this is probably the best Monkey Island game in a while. Art design, sound and gameplay is exactly as the previous game only that it's better polished. More of an expansion than a sequel. I give it a 7/10. Horrible ending btw.

Questo è un sequel diretto di "Don't Dry" e ci offre un contenuto che segue direttamente le vicende di quest'ultimo, portandoci un gameplay non da meno e una storia abbastanza carina.
Sinceramente non c'è molto da dire, i due giochi sono un po una parte 1 e 2, si collegano direttamente fondendo i due in un'enorme storia.
L'ending stordisce un po, ma fa capire davvero tanto di quello che noi abbiamo vissuto nei giochi precedenti, facendoci immaginare finalmente e quasi andando a confermare alcune cose sui giochi precedenti.

Mira... si estás leyendo esto, es porque ya sabes quién es Larry Laffer. Ese ícono del ligue ochentero que, contra toda lógica, sigue teniendo juegos en pleno siglo XXI. Y Wet Dreams Dry Twice no solo es un regreso triunfal, sino una carta de amor al absurdo, a la picardía, y al tipo de humor que no se ve todos los días.

La historia es lo de menos (aunque tiene corazón, lo juro): Larry está perdido en una serie de islas tratando de encontrar a su amada Faith. En el camino, como siempre, se cruza con mujeres inteligentes que le llevan 20 vueltas, inventos ridículos, y más insinuaciones que un grupo de WhatsApp con stickers prohibidos.

Lo mágico del juego es que, por más que Larry no encaje en el mundo moderno (¡Dios mío, el tipo acaba de descubrir los smartphones!), hay algo entrañable en su torpeza. Uno quiere que le vaya bien, aunque sea solo por ver cómo la lía otra vez. Es el equivalente jugable de ver a Mr. Bean con hormonas.

Los puzzles tienen sus momentos de gloria y otros de “¿quién fue el psicópata que diseñó esto?”, pero con suficiente paciencia (y sentido del humor), todo se disfruta.

¿Vale la pena?
Sí, si eres fan.
Sí, si te gusta reírte con humor picante pero con alma.
Y sí, si entiendes que a veces, lo más refrescante no es la profundidad… sino un tipo en slip blanco haciendo lo que puede por amor.

引导很差，很无厘头，不看攻略很容易卡关，r18内容很多（物品的形状一言难尽），当做解密玩感觉够呛，不过应该是我之前没玩过同系列作品不了解，导致剧情看不懂一点（比如上来怎么就跟别人做），如果从解密上来看个人感觉不咋的，不过史低价格摆在这也不好说别的）

Habe ich dem ersten Spiel noch einen Daumen hoch gegeben reicht es hier nicht mehr.
Die Rätsel sind noch dämlicher, der Humor noch fragwürdiger, aber jetzt kommen Dinge dazu die mich Irre machen.
Das Spiel ist mir mehrmals abgestürzt. Das ist einfach nicht akzeptabel zumal Teil 1 absolut problemlos lief.
Dann wäre da eine Irre Zeitverschendung. In einer Quest muss ich links und rechts je 3 Scheiben richtig einstellen, jede Scheibe hat ca. 12 mögliche Positionen und jedes Anklicken führt zu einer Animation von 2 Sekunden. Und das muss ich alles 3x machen. Es hat 5 Minuten gedauert ein Rätsel zu lösen dass ich nach 10 Sekunden durchschaut hatte.
Auch stirbt man viel zu oft, hier die falschen Koordinaten, dort aus Versehen eine Orchidee angeklickt und jedes mal gibt es eine Minute einer Animation zu sehen die sich nicht abbrechen lässt.
Dazu kommen massenhaft Bugs wie z.B. in Animationen, Nach dem Ausbruch aus dem Gefängnis landet man dennoch optisch immer wieder hinter Gittern obwohl man eigentlich frei ist. Diesen und ähnliche Fehler gibt es massenhaft.
Alles in allem fühlt sich das Spiel an als hätte es schnell fertig werden müssen und wurde nie probe gespielt, oder gepatcht.
Langer Rede kurzer Sinn: Hatte Teil 1 noch seine Daseinsberechtigung als Hommage auf Larry ist das hier nur noch der Versucht Kohle abzuscheffeln. In jedem Detail schlechter und dazu noch mit Bugs.

Сюжет какая-то кринжатина с повесточными вставками. Начало заунывное, что просто капец. Как будто делали DLC к прошлой части, а потом дропнули как игру.
Еще эта Сири из телефона постоянно отвлекает.
Суть квестов Ларри вообще утеряна с концами. В современном игровом мире ничего чернушного, жестко сатиричного не выпустить, поэтому вот делают такой кринж не понятно для какой аудитории.

No major improvements after the first one other than a new type of puzzle yet it is much less stable. I had 20+ crashes, some of which made me repeat the whole room again. Some graphical issues, some issues with the states of some objects... I hadn't seen a point&click adventure this unstable in a while.
None of these are dealbreakers by themselves. If you liked the tone of the first game, it's a direct continuation of it. I was already on the fence about it so the issues in this one were enough to turn me off. Still finished it, though.

[b]WHAT THE HELL ??[/b] I came in this wet series expecting some comedy sexy gags just to kill some time but what I got was an actual interesting story and very entertaining and funny puzzles, music was top-notch for what it is, it suits the game perfectly.
Remember when Vice city had Dream-like aesthetics while San Andreas had a more downtown and gangster look to it ? that's what developers tried to do here, while the first game had a modern city, purplish/pinkish color palette look, in this one they tried a new approach and went to greeny tropical Island themes which is refreshing, and nice to see. game play wise it does sticks to the foundations of the first game, however unlike the first one, here Larry is a bit less dirty-minded (not in a bad way that kills off the vibe) and also much more fortunate, not failing all the chances with the girls. (lol) puzzles aren't as dirty as the first game either, instead they are much more developed and mostly builds up logically so you'd have to often think it out rather than just trying to randomly blend things from the inventory or clicking stuff hoping something magically works, which of course means it's more challenging and time taking. the game is also much longer and gives you a nice ending with an unbelievable emotional touch followed by a satisfying and complete close for the wet franchise.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoyed the first game.

This was a good sequel to Wet Dreams Don't Dry. It was buggier than the WDDD, as it closed multiple times, but it still opened where I left (thank god), and the dialogue didn't always match/play correctly. The actual game-play wasn't as "structured" as I hoped. I never knew if I was tasking in the right order and that made everything confusing and complicated. But I thought this one did really well with involving actual puzzles instead of only combining things. I really liked the new apps to, the "book-keeper" one definitely helped keep track of everything well. And I thought the builder app was smart, and it was nice to interact with Pi directly. Spoiler: Killing Pi and Yanmei was so rude :'). I did like the pixel pop-in better in this game than WDDD, I could actually make out the objects ;''). Overall I did enjoy both of the Wet Dreams games. I loved all the characters, they were all rounded and characterized well. Definitely recommend to those that like sexy point and click games! I also got it on sale for less that $2 so that was a plus :')

Larry Laffer is back and better than ever! This time, his adventure takes place in a tropical setting, with islands galore, as opposed to the prequel, which had a more urban focus.

On his quest to find Faith, Larry finds himself on a mysterious island, which just so happens to be the same island Faith crashed on. Go figure!

What Larry doesn't know is that Prune is under new management, Mr Wang, who honestly reminds me of Mr Chow from [i]The Hangover[/i], with his eccentric personality. His goal? To get his hands on Faith's secret algorithm. With the help of a special agent, Yanmei, they aim to get the algorithm, whilst observing Larry in the background.

The rest of the cast, is even more absurd. We have Swingle, PiBot, the cannibalesbians, and so much more, all contributing in one way or another to this wacky adventure!

Of course, Larry is as hilarious as ever, with some of the funniest one liners. A favourite of mine being "[i]I've always wanted to have an inflatable crocodile in my pants.[/i]" Naturally, most of the dialogue has a sexual undertone, but what would you expect from such a game?

The game also has some nice quality of life features this time around, such as double clicking to fast travel between areas, or greying out certain dialogue options once they've been selected once before. Small touches, but very helpful nevertheless!

Sadly, this game does have its fair share of issues.
