Storyline

King Arthur and his Knights have taken up arms against the evil enemies of the realm. Every battle is a randomly generated challenge that will test your smarts and luck. Winning battles will fill the war chest of Camelot, losing them will impact King Arthur's health.

No one is ever gonna read this review, but just in case...

If you're a completionist don't buy it lol. You're gonna have a really long headache trying to complete this for no good reason.

The developer also straight up doesn't care about fixing some issues in his game like the money soooo there's that as well.

It's a $4 puzzle game that doesn't stick around long and has a ludicrously annoying music loop. Just go listen to the video above and see how long you can last, because it plays literally constantly. So I'd recommend muting that. It isn't particularly hard, and you will almost always lose runs because the randomness makes it literally impossible to not take damage.

Again, $4. Feel free to play, but I wouldn't particularly recommend it. There are probably better things to do with your time. Would be fine as a mobile game though, with a little more dev time to perhaps increase the longevity a bit.

Nettes kleines "Roguelike" mit einer interessanten Idee, aber das war es dann auch schon.
Das Spiel fühlt sich wie ein kleines Experiment an und entwickelt sich nicht wirklich weiter.
Man kann sich zwar neue Charaktere freischalten, welche ein anderes Angriffsmuster haben,
aber man kann genauso gut die Standard Figuren nehmen und es würde keinen Unterschied machen.
Das Spiel ist für manche sicher spannend, aber wer es wirklich ausprobieren will,
der sollte im Sale zuschlagen, da es wirklich nicht viel bietet und nicht all zu lange unterhält!

주사위를 굴리고 병사를 배치해 몬스터 찾자

게임 시작을 시작할때 2종의 병사를 선택할 수 있습니다.
초기에는 2종의 병사가 기본으로 주어지며, 플레이하면서 획득하는 골드를 소모하여 새로운 병사를 언락해 고용할 수 있죠.
선택한 병사와 기본으로 포함되는 왕까지 하여 파티가 완성됩니다.

준비가 완료되면 6*6으로 구성된 필드 위에 몬스터들이 소환되고 주사위를 굴리게 됩니다.
필드의 상단과 좌측에 숫자 필드가 있으며 여기에 동일한 숫자가 나온 주사위를 배치하여 라인을 활성화시킬 수 있죠.
활성화된 라인에 파티의 병사들을 배치하면되는대, 병사들이 몬스터를 처치할 수 있도록 배치하여야 합니다.
병사들은 각자 고유한 공격 범위를 보유하고 있기에 몬스터를 처치할 수 있는 병사들을 적절하게 배치하여야 하죠.

배치가 완료되면 전투를 실행하며 처치한 몬스터와 미배치한 병사, 주사위의 수만큼 골드를 획득할 수 있습니다.
만약 생존한 몬스터가 있다면 하트를 차감되고 모든 하트를 잃게 되면 게임 오버가 되죠.
하트는 필드에 랜덤하게 등장하고 공격 범위 내에 위치시키면 획득할 수도 있습니다.

아쉬운 점
-주사위 새로 굴리기 (1개를 희생해서 굴린다거나 등)
-병사 언락 시, 이미지로 된 병사의 공격 범위 등을 미리보기로 보여주면 좋을듯

Simple but fun little game ! Had a nice time with it.

Few points that could have made it even better:
-Unlocking the characters feel a bit like grinding. Plus paying for them to join the table feels a bit inconsistent.
-An adventure/challenge mode where you have to solve a set of specific puzzles to unlock the characters would have been more fun & rewarding. And could be use to introduce the player to the new character and how to use him to solve specific layouts. And keeping the actual mode to compete for high score ?
-The gold could be replaced by points (Honor, fame or whatever feels more chivalrous) since there's not much to buy anyway (once all the characters are unlocked, the gold you win is basically useless)
-Maybe an online leaderboard to keep players engaged longer ?

That said, it's already a really good & fun game.

Easy to recommend, its a fun time waster. Just some things to keep in mind:

1. It's short - not unexpected for $4
2. It is entirely random - This can end up with a situation where you have to take damage
3. If there is a heart, as long as you hit it, you will stay at the same health even if you leave a goblin alive
4. If you beat all goblins, next wave will have one more goblin spawn
5. If you don't beat all goblins, next wave will have one less goblin spawn

Overall, for the cost its a fun distraction for a couple hours.

I like small experimental games, but this one doesn't feel refined enough design-wise, say compared to a braingoodgames game. The one tactic the game requires also makes it more boring, in violation of the "the best solution should be the fun one" rule. Look at Rolling through the reef for another minimalist game with dice that digs deeper into its mechanics.

Hey man you should really put in the tutorial that dying won't let you keep your gold, just got the 500 gold achievement but had to yield/lose for the first time in the process and well imagine my surprise that I didn't keep my gold, went and played the tutorial 2 more times to make sure I didn't overlooked it but all it really says is tactical retreat but makes sense but I just thought it was just a fancy way to call it quits which I have been doing so far

Knights of the Tiny Table is a well-made, simple puzzle game with a relaxing aesthetic. The majority of the gameplay centers around rolling 4 dice, which you then use to open a row or column on a grid to place a hero. These heroes have predefined attack patterns, so your dice rolls and hero placements become the essential cornerstones of each turn.

As others have mentioned, it's a bit light on content - it takes a fair amount of grinding to acquire new heroes, and there's no alternate objective aside from doing so. Some additional quests or objectives would go a long way.

Aside from this, there are a few quality of life improvements that would be fairly easy to implement and would really reduce tedium:
1. If you roll two of the same number, automatically place both dice on the grid
2. Make left-click place a dice on its row, right-click place a dice on its column
3. Don't require a mouse drag - single left-click to select a hero, another left-click to place hero

Additionally, a few other changes would increase player motivation and replay value:
1. Display what new heroes do before you buy them
2. Look into reducing cost of new heroes - as-is, it takes ~30 minutes to acquire each hero, which seems like a pretty steep curve
3. Overhaul the music - the current track becomes grating quickly - a medieval-themed ambient track would be a huge improvement
4. Add in a harder difficulty with a few key changes: no moving of dice or heroes once placed and a timer/time attack element

Overall, a great effort and well-worth a couple bucks.

This game is amazing, it's a simple puzzle game time waster, but I like it very much. Unfortunately there isn't any goal, you have to collect gold and buy other knights. Please add some quest or other stuff. The price is fair.

I thought there would be a little more to it than just placing heroes and solving puzzle after puzzle to infinity. No bosses or anything like that, and no progression other than unlocking new heroes, which just have different attack patterns.
But it's still a fun little time-waster, but in the same way as suduko. Cute art.
