Very enjoyable game from the good old Flash Era. I beat every achievement there and I did it all here too.

Очень прикольная аркада, я залип. Игра сама еще аж с флеш ресурсов, поэтому давно про нее знал, и это собственно является переносом игры, получилось нормально, единственное, почему-то потерялось управление мышкой, так же лично у меня технически работала сносно, был только баг, что во время подъема, у меня плавно темнеет экран, и я почему-то заново начинаю взбираться, но подъемы то здесь не большие по времени, так что не критично, я это к тому, что многие жаловались на всякие ошибки, и то и се, так-что тут как и во всех играх, кому как повезет, и в зависимости от разных обстоятельств. Так-что рекомендую попробовать, и скидка на игру бывает, и по ней самое то взять.

I remember this game as a flash game a lot when I was younger along with burrito bison. Still fun and simple game and was enjoyable playing it again.
Simple fun
The game started once. did not get to try it again, despite reinstalling and clearing cache. Nor do i get a refund, as i left the computer as i would hope it would start.
yes, it was originally a free flash game I never played, but the transition was done well enough, except this has no mouse support. paying more (or anything) for less is not cool but the free version is still around and I had no problem with the keyboard, had a lot of fun (and frustration) many years ago.

like juicy beast's most other games (that i know of) this game is grindy
ALSO like juicy beast's other games, juicy beast somehow manages to do it without it literally ever feeling repetitive. you're always gonna be finding new stuff.
however, what i feel REALLY makes this game shine is (number one the intro cutscene looking straight out of a gildedguy animation, seriously it is genuinely peak in the exact same why gildedguys animation style is) but TWO, the main reason, is how there is a lotta skill expressive stuff in this. it may not seem like it at first, but when you start to get the hang of it all, you can ♥♥♥♥♥♥' SHMOOVE.
another thing about the style that applies to all of juicy beast's games (no i will not stop saying that) is how charming literally ALL of the characters are, even the least important ones to the game. i still feel like the burrito bison series does that better but this still does it pretty well (i ship wormageddon and prickly pair)
there are still some flaws, such as the music getting on your nerves after a while, some upgrades to some powerups could honestly be considered downgrades, and uhh... cant list all of em off of the top of my head cuz its 8:52 pm rn but yeah

Knightmare Tower est un jeu d’arcade nerveux et juicy avec un très léger aspect roguelite. Vous y incarnez un chevalier qui doit délivrer 10 princesses, et vous démarrez chaque run les miches posées sur une fusée qu’il faudra lancer le plus haut possible. Une fois en l’air, vous serez assailli par des hordes de monstres dont il faudra à la fois éviter les attaques pour ne pas perdre vos points de vie, mais aussi later à coup d’épées pour vous propulser vers le haut. Le but sera donc à chaque fois de grimper d’étages en étages, en délivrant des princesses et en récoltant de l’argent sur la route, ce qui vous permettra de débloquer des bonus permanents, et ça jusqu’à arriver au boss de fin.
Le gameplay est une vraie réussite, c’est très simple et très arcade mais surtout très nerveux et agréable à jouer. Ajoutez à ça une DA cartoon réussie et une musique épique qui reste en tête et vous obtenez un vrai petit bonbon.

A really fun Steam port of one of my favorite flash games! If you enjoyed the flash game, this is definitely worth checking out, even if only to support the developer. A couple notes for those familiar with the flash version: this one doesn't have mouse controls as an option, but adds controller to the mix. Also, the survival challenge and final boss are definitely more difficult.
I beat the 100k achievement after pausing partway through to do my Duolingo. That dang owl must have sabotaged my prior runs.

Early game is boring, by the mid game after you have unlocked a few things, specifically powerups, then it's fun then late game is challenging but not particularly fun. Would have been better with fewer or cheaper unlocks rather than the forced grind that it is. That's my biggest issue with this game, I'm forced to

Fun little arcade game, a little expense for a little experience.
Simple and easy gameplay without much challenge but for 1 or 2 achievements. Good for short gameplay sessions and is pretty fun which is the most important thing
Another great flash game ported to Steam.
Just three movement options: Left, Right and Dash, a bunch of monsters and upgrades that you have to grind for by killing monsters that get stronger as you get further up the tower; you can't go wrong with such simplistic gameplay.
The monsters do present a bit of a challenge, especially the ones that shoot, and, for the most part, you can see their evolution as you continue your ascension to save all the princesses and unlock the final floor.
Overall, great game for when you're feeling bored.
Now, for the achievements:
Pretty straightfoward achievements: Defeat the Final Boss, Complete all missions, Get all upgrades, speedrun story and survival mode and get lucky to get the Golden Horn boss and a bomb.
Took me 3.5 hours, it won't take you too long either.

Mi ricordo quando giocavo da piccolo a questo gioco ed era divertentissimo, quindi ero contento di giocarlo di nuovo ma il problema è che non parte quando tento di avviarlo, mi è andato solo una volta e quando poi ho cercato di chiudere il gioco mi bloccava steam e in parte il computer, e sicuramente non è colpa del mio pc dato che è molto buono e può supportare qualsiasi gioco.

one time back when i was in 3rd grade i found this game while in a computer class. me and my friend played this the whole time and i loved every second of it but i lost the game forever not knowing what it was called. so i'd go on google and search up things i remember about the game and no luck. until yesterday, i recently built my first computer and installed steam and to my rememberence i searched up on google "knight in tower game" and alas the game i had been searching for almost 6 years has finally been found. i decided since i missed the game so much that i would rebeat the game in its entirety, and thats just what i did. aside from that the game itself is amazing mechanics, the funny story, the boss fight was genuinely fun, and the upgrades sold me. definitely a must play if your into the mechanics.

It's a surprisingly great game. My only gripe is the one 'don't dash for 25 seconds' achievement haha. I'm trying to go through a whole campaign in fewer attempts than the amount of princesses.
Just like Burrito Bison, this game is awesome. Can't stop playing either of them.

Almost a perfect release of the game. Highly enjoyable classic from back in the day, but has a few issues.
No native 1920x1080 support, and No mouse support.
The no mouse support is... perplexing considering the original free flash game had it.
This game was incredibly fun, and a wave of nostalgia. I loved the cutscenes and the mechanics of the game, Hack and slash mixed with bullet hell, and several cool monster and armor designs. I had fun 100%ing the game. 10/10 game.

Nice little game for in between and finish-able fast. Although it has no mouse-only mode unlike the flash version and tapping on keyboard might hurt after a while. There are some minor glitches like survival runs ending prematurely, damage randomly being halved, and quests becoming active/inactive. They likely won't get fixed.

Es dinámico, y rezuma el encanto de los juegos flash, es corto, pero dura lo que tiene que durar. No es especialmente desafiante (excepto el último logro). Aún con todo, es muy entretenido. Pillaoslo sin durar.
