Minoria is the latest and most ambitious game from Bombservice, and a spiritual sequel to the Momodora series, from the same studio. Storyline

The story takes place during the fourth Witch War. It is a time of fanatical religious fervor. On the one hand, by the Sacred Office, a powerful organization leading an Inquisition against heresy, in order to purify the sinners who threaten humanity. And on the other hand, those labeled “witches”, responsible for conducting a mysterious ceremony that contradicts the rules of the Church. Set forth with Sisters Semilla and Fran, missionaries in the Church’s service, on their journey to thwart the witches’ ceremony and protect the common-folk from heresy that endangers the status quo.

Minoria is a mediocre game. That left me feeling exhausted and annoyed.

The combat and movement feel all right once you get to late game allowing the player to express a certain level of skill in boss fights.

That is where the positive end.

My first and biggest gripe is that this is labeled as a Metroidvania. This game is extremely linear and once you enter a new area you are never required to go backwards. The game may consider unlocking shortcuts back to previous areas as back tracking and integrated world, but I do not. On top of that 'secrets' in this game are random walls that you have to hit with no cues.

The environments you are exploring feel repetitive and bland. One room feels like the previous and even though there are three major areas once you end the third screen of the new area it all feels the same.

The same goes for enemy design. Each enemy can be approached in the same way and feel like they are just skins of each other.

The game is also very short and doesn’t give enough time for the player to develop an understanding of the world before they are thrown into a new area, while this isn’t a negative in all cases; when the world feels this bland it does.

Небольшой проект, который можно пройти за пару вечеров.

Игра оставила очень хорошее впечатление. Атмосферная метроидвания с достаточно простенькой боёвкой и красивым, хоть и немного «плосковатым» визуальным стилем. Проходится спокойно и не пытается растянуть себя и вас лишним контентом. Не шедевр жанра, но очень крепкий инди-проект, который относительно легко закрыть на платину.

I liked it, though somehow I expected more.

The art style is nice, the characters being 3d was unexpected, but it's alright, a nice blend of 3d and 2d. The music is good. The ambience of the game in general felt like a horror game which was pretty cool.

[b][u]The story[/u][/b] is... Slightly confusing, I don't quite get much of it, though it's nice we get 2 endings, with one being the clear superior choice, though unfortunately it does come with sacrifices. [spoiler] I'm honestly surprised we spared Amelia. [/spoiler] I guess it was ok. I wanted to like the story more but the ending being, well, even if one is better, both are still kinda bad, ngl.
The characters were cool, I like some of them.

[b][u]The combat[/u][/b] was nice, though trying to parry was very hit or miss I found, especially with the inconsistency of if I parry successfully if it's the big enemies I don't do a counter attack? I don't know, it still confuses me, the roll was good most of the time, though sometimes the movement was iffy, maybe cus I was animation locked? i don't know.
Monster design was alright, the bosses were much more interesting, well, in terms of mechanics, as in terms of looks most looked similar.

[b][u]For the bad[/u][/b], holy the controls were terrible, it was quite difficult to get used to it, even after changing them to be slightly better, I kept misclicking the wrong button, and it took half the game before I realized a menu button DID exist, it was just ENTER for some reason, and of course that's one I can't change.
The camera was also bad, half the time I was annoyed that the camera was elsewhere instead of where I'm trying to go or on the enemy I'm actively fighting, which would lead to several deaths because I can't see an attack coming.

[b][u]Overall[/u][/b], it was just 'alright', I honestly don't know what else to say, story, combat, all of it was just 'alright'. As well as it does have quite a nice ambience with its soundtrack feeling almost horror like.

The game kinda lacks "flavour", dunno how to explain it, there is only 6 main areas that sometimes feel like they go on for too long, not to mention you gotta revisit some of them in some point which doesn't help, the room layouts often feel repetitive and too simple, bosses are very simple and highly predictable, almost feel like you are just fighting an overly tanky enemy at times. And also the game is very brief, you can finish it easily in around 5 hours

It's an "ok" at best metroidvania game, but there isn't much stuff going on to justify this game costing 20 bucks.

敵の攻撃が基本こっちの体力半分以上削るのと死んだらセーブから全部やり直し（ボス倒していても）がつらいけども
基本的なメトロイドヴァニアとしてはちゃんと出来ているためそれなりに楽しめる

私は４時間でクリアしたが、くまなく探したりするのであればもう少し時間はかかりそう

Beat first boss no damage to get passive ice elemental damage, equip red sword and proceed to kill anything that moves for another 2 hours, the end. Assets are lifeless, the characters don't even have face expressions of any kind, levels look dry as if still in alpha state, animations frames are jaw-dropping, the text inside dialogue boxes may shake and that's it, character don't have idle animations (neither voices or sounds of any kind) and most enemies don't even have attack voices/SFX, most enemies are recolored aka variations of themselves and even the doors that require different keys are not color codded. It's a very lazy 2.5 with minimal assets and minimal gameplay as a whole, reminds me heavily to "Dead or School".

The narrative could be salvaged for a re-release but the game has been abandoned, last update was 3 months after release in 2020, some of the notes you find throughout can kill you with their cringe worthy "plot". Basically first note is "I masturbated, it felt really good, I'm now a sinner, forgive me yadda yadda yadda":

All characters female because yuri-bait and whatnot, boss battles absolutely pointless and boring, better play Salt and Sanctuary.

To be truthful, this was a pretty average metroidvania game. The movement was pretty stiff, the battle mechanics were too standard and the bosses were too easy. Still it had its charms, the story is pretty interesting, the special powers were pretty varied and fun and I liked the character design even though they were expressionless.
This game was a 6 out of 10 for me (Its shortness was a plus, it did not waste my time).

As a big fan of rdein games, I've completed all of the Momodora games at 100%. So, I was eagerly awaiting Minoria, its "spiritual successor." I must say, I wasn't disappointed! Minoria is a classic Metroidvania game that involves backtracking and,. for the first time in the series, you can level up by gaining experience from defeated enemies! The game has no difficulty settings, and it's not hard to finish, especially if you like gaining experience to become powerful before facing bosses. One thing everyone should know (which the game reveals after you defeat the first boss) is that, as in other Momodora games, you get unique weapons and spells if you defeat the bosses without taking any damage! My advice is to approach the bosses with this mindset to experience the game's only real challenge. The trophies are simple, and there's a New Game+ mode that makes unlocking the alternate ending easier when you play through the game a second time. I especially recommend this game to those new to Metroidvanias because it's a medium-difficulty game with a unique plot that doesn't require knowledge of other games (although there are some nods to fans of the Momodora series).

Опишу коротко свой негатив - бешеный демедж по персонажу (половина или даже больше HP за 1 удар), без разницы мобы это или какие-либо ловушки. Арены так вообще превращаются в закликивание выбора местных скиллов магии (фемиамов) и метанием из стороны в сторону в попытке избежать урон и нанести его же противникам. 1-2 тычки и откатываешся на ближайший сейв без сохранения прогресса. А бегать по скучнейшим локам из-за этой "сложности" нет больше не какого желания. Стилистика персонажей и в целом внешний игры нравятся, музыка тоже подходит. Но при всем уважении к Bombservice и её проектам в лице серии игр Momodora, эта вызвала разочарование. Может быть я и вернусь к этому проекту, но пока что не рекомендую.

Game looks great, but it's the best quality among others.
First of all graphics is great, bosses are ok and game is enjoyable. But there are a lot better metroidvanias for similar or cheaper price. And even if other metroidvnias cost more, they are probably have more and better content per price.
Battles look flashy, but pretty boring and not that deep mechanics-wise. The best attack is just a basic attack. Spells are less effective in terms of dps, and also limited in uses.
Different weapons have almost no difference in attacks and attack power (instead of like a dozen there could be just 3).
Enemies are mostly reskins. Most enemies are really similar. Some of them just have some minor quirks, like moving through walls, having a shield or being ranged.
For metroidvania there are only 2 movement upgrades: double jump and air dash(which is unlocked almost in the end). So, yeah, movement is not that great.
Also after some point some paths became blocked. Why? - lore. But still it's really annoying to backtrack just to see, that you chose wrong path out of 3, so you need to spend a couple more minutes to get to the desired destination. And it isn't possible to use some ability to go through these blocks. And furthermore, there are no teleports untill you beat final boss. And these teleports will teleport you to the place where there is no teleport back.
Game is really short, so that's also negative.
All in all, i got some fun, but i wish i have bought some other game

人物动作僵硬，数值设计不合理，不管是boss还是小怪，只需要两刀就能干死玩家。

This is a soft recommend. It feels similar to Ender Lilies, but on a smaller scale. Bosses can be surprisingly tough yet rewarding, and exploration is enjoyable thanks to an alluring world that invites you to keep pushing forward. 5 hours 58 minutes in game time.

游戏流程公式化，探索无趣。角色的等级设定到后期略显鸡肋，血条几乎是摆设，基本所有正常小怪都能两下干掉玩家。后期小怪血条设计不合理，都快赶上前期boss的血量了，打遭遇战疯狂搓脚。boss纯堆数值，没有任何美感。武器信息约等于无，其实各种武器的攻击特效是不一样的，但是没有任何解释，需要玩家一点点试。角色动作僵硬，操作起来很糟糕，格挡需要当前动作做完才能触发。暂时先这样了，刚打到森林，被精英怪的血条给整蒙了。。。

和精神前系列作(Momodora) 相比地圖顯得比較空曠要素不多 (講難聽一點就是比較泡棉)

後期主角的機體攻擊和機動性能超高對道中小怪幾乎是切菜但是 Boss基本上都自帶霸體、也無法擊飛
與其在跳到空中轉來轉去用臉接彈幕，還是乖乖的在地上翻滾/格檔比較實在
難度上絕對算是寬鬆的，只要願意農等級，就一定能用數值輾過去的程度

不過以價格來說，內容確實是有點少就是了
走通常流程+農等級的時間，時間最拖 6小時以內就能通關，剩下的就是全要素蒐集/地圖100% 的時間了

This is definitely one of the more interesting Bombservice games, I will admit. I don't really know what I was expecting, probably something akin to Momodora games, but I will say, I was quite surprised by how different it is. I do like the attempt at 3D here, I think it works really well, and gives the game lots of charm. I was surprised by how much more dark the story is here than in any Momo game, and I find that a welcome addition. When it comes to the story and lore, this is probably the best game from this dev. Music was a bit weaker than in Momo here, but I think it is because they went more atmospheric, which is fine. Combat is in general great, tho I have a few issues here. Overall, the game is amazing (I still prefer the Momodora series, but that is a personal preference). Now, my first issue is not too big, but it exists. I believe the damage that some enemies deal is ridicoulosly high, especially since those specific enemies are often also hella tanky. Dealing with them was anything but pleasant. Bigger gripe that I have is with how saving works here...There are fixed save points, where you respawn after death. Pretty simple. Problem is, unlike in most metroidvanias, if you progress a bunch and then die before saving, ALL your progress is lost. Uncovered map? Gone. Collectibles? Gone. Any enemy gauntlet or a boss fight that you did? You have to redo them all. A system like that can work if you can save at any points using energy for example, literally Ori did it, but with a fixed system like that? Yeah, no....It can get incredibly frustrating having to redo a huge section over again, just cause you so happened to not find a save point. Ofc, I wouldn't say the game is that difficult that you would keep dying here a crazy amount of time, but even it happening once can be upsetting. Those two are my only issues tho, besides that, Minoria is amazing, I definitely can recommend.

전작들에 비해 너무 실망스러움

1. 패링이 너무 사기임. 몹이 많이 나오는 구간에는 패링 버튼만 난타하면 알아서 정리됨
2. 적 피격 보션이 너무 긺. 몹 많은 곳에서 향로 쓰면은 10초 넘게 화면이 정지함
3. 기본 지도 확인하기 너무 불편함
4. 패링 키랑 대쉬 키랑 같아서 패링 하려다가 대쉬하려는 경우가 많음
5. 워프도 겜 끝나고 생기고, 워프 장소도 어딘지 알 수 없음. 워프 잘못하면 겜 껐다 켜야함
6. 쓰레기 아이템이 너무 많고, 사용 횟수도 너무 적음. 필요시 스왑해서 사용하는데 너무 불편함

质量很高的小品级类银，momodora的制作组一如既往的风格。虽然地图没有非常庞大，主要区域只有五个，但是却足够把一个故事讲清楚了。总共有两个结局，不想打二周目的话记得在打完最终boss之前复制存档。打击感很爽，游戏画风四两拨千斤。没有难度可选，成就系统也很友好，没有把很困难的操作比如说一命通关列为成就之一，正常玩家稍作努力也能全成就。如果买过这个这个社团的另一个作品momodora月下告别，那么能在书房拿到联动的武器，作为先玩过momodora的玩家还是很激动的。
有轻微的百合。[spoiler]唯一遗憾的是真结局里芙兰修女没能和主角走到最后，充满了悲剧色彩，正如这个故事本身一样。也许制作组成员也觉得很遗憾吧，在通关特典里说杜芙娃修女没有死活的好好的，我多么希望芙兰修女也能活得好好的...[/spoiler]

メトロイドヴァニアをほとんど遊ばない、おじいちゃんの感想。

ゲームとしては平凡だったがキャラクターが良い。
特別難しいわけではなく、そこそこの時間でクリアできるのでおすすめ。

良かった点：
・キャラクターがかわいい(梯子モーションはご愛嬌)
・世界観の押しつけがない(解説文があるが読まなくてもOK)

残念だった点：
・ゲーム設定のメニューが使い難い
・自キャラのレベルアップを体感することがない(極端に差がある場合だけ感じる)

For me play time is not too long not too short, just the right length .
Story is ordinary but at least dialogs are not childish, and there is no BS chitchat. That is a plus.
Level design is not super complicated. You progress comfortably, no need to check internet where to go, do etc.
Game doesn't cause much stress, it is not a rage quit type of metroidvania.
You can even relax and play calmly.
if we put Minoria aside, sadly all 2d metroidvania games are feel same in these days.

音乐美术手感都尚可，但是一些上的缺陷让整个游玩过程变得很不舒适：1、数值脚填，路边小怪打人两下就死，打boss反而能抗三四下；2、没有传送但又存在很多单行道，只能硬跑，通关后解锁的也只是个只能传送到入口的劣质传送；3、死亡之后不自动保存，一切都要重新探索；4、最终boss竟然没有自动存档，打完就直接消失，想要打分支结局只能开二周目

Somehow this game felt quite boring compare to the others from the same developer. The level design is un-inspiring, and both enemies and bosses are pretty basic. Maybe because I had a high bar after playing the Momodora Games, but this one is lacking in something. I mostly blame it in level design and lack luster abilities. The game itself is super linear, and any sense of exploration is just block with doors with keys you find out of nowhere, and because all doors look the same you have no idea what key goes were.

The first location, which also I feel is the bigger one, its also pretty uninteresting, looks way identical everywhere, this tied to boring level design make all areas merge into each other.

The game kept me busy to the end, but overall I did not find it fun.

This was an enthralling, quick play that hits you in the feels more than you'd expect. It also exceeded any expectations I had. I liked the world, the lore, the characters, and the simple beauty of the whole package. It's functioning. That's the best I can say about it. for 20 EUR is overpriced as hell.

Story
The story is trash, both endings feel like bad endings and they're both trash and lazily written. My 10 YO can think up a better story than this. Yuck.

Movement
- it's not fluid, let me tell you that. Your characters moves slowly and there is no option to run but if you spam dodge-roll you move twice as fast thus you're incentivised to roll all the time which looks ridiculous and no fun at all.
- jumping is janky and the hitboxes of platforms are messed up, making you miss the landing. Most of the platforming becomes obsolete with the double jump that spans the whole height of the screen so there goes any need for problem solving.
- there is no option to fast travel so most of the game you just backtrack the same rooms you already visited.

Map
- map is barebones, denoting only explored squares and savepoints. No markers for locked doors or points of interest, no way to drop a marker of your own, not even a name or color for different parts of the map.

Level design
- bland and same-ish rooms incoherently strewn together, biomes or sections almost indistinguishable from each other
- Doors are all same looking and if you interact with them "locked" pops out with no way of telling whether you need a prison key, thief key, rusty key or to find a lever that opens it. So with every new acquired key you backtrack like a fool and try bumping every door to see if it opens. Also remember none of the doors are marked so good luck finding them.
- some parts of the map are sectioned off by roots blocking two conjoined corridors that look like you should be able to burn or punch through but no, they're only there to make you go around like an idiot while backtracking for the umpth time.

Combat
- very basic and janky at the same time. Every attack you connect with locks your character for a milisecond to produce "HIT" flash so if you strike multiple foes you get hit back before all those "HIT" animations happen. It's like stun-locking yourself every time you swing and boy oh boy is it annoying.
- there is zero tactics required to kill any of the bosses in this game. Just press forward and spam attack and heal. No need to dodge, parry, jump away or anything. Just mash buttons till it's dead. Trying to fight strategically gets you killed more often than if you just lay it on. Final boss takes like 30 seconds to kill that way.
- at the very end you get "dash attack" that is only ever used to bridge few artifical gaps on the final stretch of the map. It's useless in combat btw.

Everything about this game screams cashgrab. Not worth for free, not worth the 10 hours to finish it.

平庸无趣的一款类银恶魔城，动作设计一般，美术一般，剧情俗套，特别第一个boss打完之后大喊“邪神xxx保佑我”，真的看笑了，谁家管自己信的神叫邪神，而怪物设计和剧情一样俗
地图尚可，但没有意义的地方太多：有些地方从锁着的门到门后开关之间的路只要跑不到十秒钟，中间没有任何敌人或是机关，莫名其妙的，“门不能从这一侧打开”，但你只要一步就能走到门背面。还有空中冲刺能力，从获取到通关真正需要使用的场景不超过五处，在战斗中也没什么用处，让人感觉是制作组觉得类银不能缺这种能力提升硬要设计出来的
此外还有一些类似完美格挡都已经进动画触发反击了却还是会掉血之类的bug，七分甚至六分，不如制作组前作Momodora 4

Увы, в моем тексте много букоф. Когда смотрел на ролик, я подумал, что игрушка классная. Но поиграв в нее, понял, что это было только красивая обложка с недоделанным\поверхностным содержанием.

Вкратце, игры от разраба Bombservice выходили в таком порядке: Momodora: Reverie Under >> Minoria >> Momodora: Moonlit Farewell. Буду их называть Момо_1, Мино и Момо_2. Это значит, что опыт на создании этих трех игр у них были разные.

Мино стала богаще своим визуалом, чем Момо_1. И это приятно чувствовать, что разная локация дает свою собственную атмосферу. Границы между цветами более плавные и красочные. Хотя субъективно, мне не понравилось, что персонажи имеют 3д моделки, в 2д пиксельном мире. Неудачное решение, но мне терпимо

Я не любитель оценивать музыки, но в целом мне она нравится. На сюжет мне безразлично. Хотя, как двигается камера во время сюжета мне позабавило, мне нравится.

Но вот в плане механик и боевок, стало еще хуже, даже чем Момо_1. По ощущениям, разработчики,
- либо вместо того, чтобы экспериментировать\изменять\переделывать\тестировать боевку, они сделали каркас в виде удар + перекат + налепили манекенов, и дальше решили до конца доделать визуал и сюжет. И в итоге игра "готовая", но боевка так и осталось в дерьме
- либо решили просто взять наработки из Момо_1. Пробоовать из нее сделать другую игру немного побольше. Когда поняли, что дело идет плохо, решили доделывать дальше через жопу
Эти у меня ощущения возникли, потому что сама боевка однообразная\тупая\примитивная. И все сражение сводится к трем тактикам
- просто спамить своими ударами как кликер, а они с тобой ничего не сделают, ибо мобы\боссы тупые для этого
- когда моб\босс пытается ударить, ты просто уворачиваешься за спиной и бьешь дальше, будь-то бы ничего и не поменялось
- сами мобы\боссы имеют похожие паттерны атак, что никак не способствует игрока менять что-либо в своих тактиках\геймплеях. Единственное, что последние 2 босса, заставили 1-2 босса адаптироваться к другим условиям, но это просто малая часть проблем, что надо менять. Банально, сам персонаж двигается куда быстрее, чем сама игра успеет чем-то тебя удивить, что печально. И это уныло\скучно
Увы, но у меня просто геймдизайнерского опыта не хватает, как спасти хреновую боевку. Его нужно полностью менять.

Даже Момо_1 была была разнообразнее, за счет того, что можно было превращаться в другого существа, но и стрелять издалека из лука. Так и мобы\боссы в боевки были пошустрее, и тебе хотя бы приходилось адаптироваться\думать. В Момо_2, добавили систему карточек, давали небольшие активности, больше мелких головоломок, да и сами персонажи более классные.

Но зачем так бедно делать Мину? У меня нет ответа на этот вопрос, но есть предположение. Поскольку Момо_1\2 и Мино сделаны двумя разными издателями, то наверное, Dangen Entertainment просто решили нагреть фанатов и разработчиков на деньги. Либо разработчики не могли купить себе хлебушек и решили создать игру в быстром спешке. Выпустили сырой продукт, а люди это просто схавают. Хотя, отчасти в этом есть и моя вина, что я купился на "грудастых" девочек.

Чем можно было бы улучшить игру:
- как я уже говорил, боевку не спасти. Либо его нужно переделывать. Либо переориентировать как визуальную новеллу, а не как игру с боевкой.
- позволить менять кнопку паузы (я не понимаю, кто из людей ставить игру на паузу через энтер? зачем?)
- позволять назначить кнопку парирование и доджа на разные атаки (из-за этого я (уверен, что и другие люди) просто решили игнорировать парирование и играть через перекаты, что звучит херово и печально)
- мне это не мешало, но для удобства в магазинах можно было разделить навыки на активные и пассивные. Просто 2 слова добавить, но и играть чуточку приятнее. Или просто цвет поменять
- кнопку пропуск диалогов
- Карта, как и из Момо_1 было говном, так и осталось. Хотя в случае с Момо_2 стало лучше. Можно на посещенную локацию добавить иконку закрытых дверей с разными ключами

Для более детального разбора можно было еще раз поиграть в обе части Момо_1 и Момо_2, но мне это не интересно.

Из-за слабого геймплея и малых активностей, я оцениваю игру негативно. Хотя визуал приятный у игры приятный. Вы можете меня не слушать, но лучше пройти мимо этой игры. И вместо этого приобрести Момо_2, ибо вы получите больше опыта и удовольствия. И даже дешевлее и качественне выйдет. Но если сильно хотите поиграть, то Момо_1. А лучше просто посмотрите прохождение на ютубе\твиче.

全体の薄暗く、退廃的な雰囲気は好き。
強敵に何度も挑んで試行錯誤するゲーム性なのに、最後にセーブした地点からやり直しなのが地味に面倒。
また、パリィと回避が重要なのに、敵に触れるとダメージを受けるのがストレスだった。

I can admit I'm a harsh critic. When you've played (and created) games as long as I have... well, let's say my patience for junk game elements has worn thin. And I don't find anything fun about "souls-like" b.s. that hides limited creativity behind excessive difficulty.

So it's with glee that I can say I have fallen in love with this simple Metroidvania that's easy to overlook.

For starters, there's no platforming insta-death. Already better than Blasphemous for gameplay.

The challenge is solid. Blocking and dodging are essential, but you have some freedom to play-your-way as there's no one single technique that's required for any type of enemy.

The boss fights are THE BEST that I have ever played in a 'vania game since Super Metroid. These are words I do not speak lightly. Normally I get irked by the sudden difficulty spike of boss fights, but this one managed to keep the balance that has me actually looking forward to the next one.

The music, artwork, and animation are amazingly well done for a game that uses primitive cell-shaded 3D models rather than hand-drawn sprites.

And speaking of artwork, I personally enjoy peeking at girls without panties, and I like how this game teases you without getting raunchy.

I hope this studio continue to make games like this, and don't mess with the formula too much. We need more games like this: fun to play as consumers, not an ego-stroke for the developers.

모모도라 외전작이라 해서 플레이를 해봤는데
솔직히 좀 쉽지 않음...
기존 시리즈 단점인 워프 해금 시점 느린거는 새발의 피...
뭔가 전투 밸런스가 애매한 느낌?
막 불합리 그런쪽이라기보단 뭔가 아쉬운게 많이 느껴졌음
패링에 딜레이가 있었다면 스릴감이 좀 더 있지 않았을까...보스는 접촉데미지가 없었으면 불쾌함이 덜하지 않았을까...그런 종류?

I got Minoria because someone on Reddit said that this was a 'slept on Metroidvania'. Although I now disagree with that statement, it's still a relatively fun short Metroidvania that was relatively simple to 100% complete. I'm going to use it to get my family further into Metroidvanias with the goal of getting them to complete the Hollow Knight games.

Overall, it's fun, a bit of a slow start, but once you get all the movement abilities you feel more free. It is funny to find out that cat pouncing everywhere is the fastest way to move.... It's worth the price when it's on sale, so grab it on discount if you can.

Don your nun outfit for a day and slay some witches! 6.5/10

Definitely recommend, my only complaints are that its kinda short, a little too easy, and some of the noises are fairly ear piercing. Otherwise it is a fairly solid metroidvania. It has a fairly easy to follow story and it is visually pleasing to look at.

It's fun enough to recommend. Combat is simple but smooth and easy to learn. It's dodge and parry based, with dodging by just rolling through enemies and parrying by hitting the parry button when the enemy flashes. Seriously parrying is so easy and will save time with combat. Spells have a cast limit instead of requiring mana and are refilled whenever you save. Magic is weaker than melee combat, like you'll spam your spells limit to kill one enemy, but there is a decent variety of attacks and buff spells to use. There are several different swords to use but they all play similar and most use the same special attack overall the variety of melee weapons was underwhelming. There's not much backtracking in the game which is good cause there isn't a fast travel system, and the map feels just right in size with the occasional spacious room of endless running.

Shortish Vania similar to the Momodora games in both aesthetic and atmosphere, with bosses on the sexier side.

yeah it's not very good, the map is useless you constantly bump into doors where you need keys, doors to which I can't seem to find, and if you get one you have to chose from 5 locations to which have doors yeah good luck with that,some actions like jumping are a bit junky, backtracking is frustrating because of the platforms and the fact that jumping;
plus some platforms disappear and don't come back even though when you first entered they were platforms that disappear when touched and then come back, when you return to the room part of the platform doesn't come back and you can't actually progress because you can't jump that far it took me 5 minutes to go back to a room time in which I had to chese on out how to jump, time in which I almost threw the controller out the window. And worst of all damage on touch on top of enemies respawning everytime you walk back to a room and kiling you in 2 hits .the incence healing is stupid enemies dont drop it so if you ran out your f.

＜昔買ってレビューを書いていなかった作品。通常のレビューより簡素＞

Momodoraシリーズを作ったチームによる新たな2D探索アクション。

さらに難易度は増し、道中もボス戦も探索も常に死がよぎるようなスリルと達成感が味わえる。

ただモーションがわかりやすいボスもそれなりにいるので競合作品を普段から親しんでいると思いのほか簡単なシーンもあったりなかったり。

Momodoraシリーズをこれまでプレイして面白いと感じる人や高難度のアクションを求めている人なら楽しめる一品かと。

2Dアクション。
最初は特に可もなく不可もなくに感じたが、積極的にパリィを使い始めると良ゲーに感じた。

エフェクトとかでそこまで画面としては見やすくはないのだが、パリィそのものはある程度キャンセルが効くうえに、空中でも出せる。なので自分のような他ゲーであまりパリィの使わない人間でも使いやすかった。成功すればカウンターも強いので爽快感がある。

ここのゲームはボスに巨女が多くて嬉しい。

内容并不丰富，往往一番探索后并没有什么特殊的奖励。
但是从第一关过后，地图设计还算令人有探索欲望，这个游戏也证明探索与主要还是以地图设计为上，而非奖励驱动。
另外防反与空中冲刺的手感也算是喜人，单靠这两个技能撑起了战斗的爽感。
59分作品吧，不是特别涉猎这个类型游戏的不推荐

Always wanted to play this game since i beated RUTM for the third time on my xbox, after i saw the artstyle and the parry mechanic, i prayed for a low price to get the chance, i am so happy to not only beated the game, but have so much fun to the point of doing a NG+ after i got the first ending

The first playthrough was a Nightmare, i was using the same strategy i used on RUTM to kill the boss without getting hit, by taking damage till almost die, then use the item to dmg myself and another buff, spam magic and boom, and it was carthatic, while i was agonizing in pain like a masoquist after getting pwned by the boss, and then redoing the same tatic, i was giving Semilla hell by letting her be a punch bag
And countless time i was doing the same loop, it was my kind of fun... Until i discovered that i was losing dmg cause ice is broken.

And then, in the second run was a breeze, but also i little more quick, as i was already friend with the map, i just mash button mindless to dodge and kill, a zen state, a teraphy after the hell of dying for Frikka poison

And what was left, was to LV Up to 99

Sometimes i felt bad for being so happy to kill the witchs... But nonetheless i liked the story, and i hope we can see someday, even if a tiny mention, of Saint Alice and Saint Friori, or that the witches and the church are on good terms

Unfortunately bland compared to Momodora. Poor level design, janky and unresponsive feeling early game combat, alongside unsatisfying progression/exploration. By the time you've unlocked your more interesting abilities and have reached the more engaging end-game bosses (of which there are two), the game is already pretty much over... and it wasn't very fun getting there.

Hard to recommend this one.

Slidy movement, bad controls, weird animations, and buggy hitboxes.

These are just some of the things you can expect to experience in Minoria.

You can also expect non-memorable paths that get unlocked with no indication of which ones they are (all the doors look the same and you get keys that open a certain number of them, but you really don't know which ones overall) as a method of unlockable progression.

Kinda bad, really. The backgrounds and music are neat, but that's about it for me.

難度非常簡單，翻滾和格黨有點過強。Boss的戰鬥方式過於單調，甚至可以說Boss戰無趣。

Un metroidvania magnifique.
l'objectif n'est pas toujours très clair mais c'est un plaisir de chercher et d'explorer dans un univers si bien construit.
Une très belle histoire qui amène une réflexion sur la moralité de la désobéissance civile.
Ce jeu est plutôt court mais il vaut le coût.

Minoria es un excelente juego estilo metroidvania, aunque su jugabilidad pueda parecer algo básica. Aun así, logra destacar gracias a su sólida ambientación y una historia bien planteada, centrada en el conflicto religioso con las brujas.

Lo más interesante es cómo el título del juego cobra sentido a medida que avanzas: las brujas, al ser un grupo perseguido y reducido, representan literalmente a una minoría. Como protagonistas, somos parte de las últimas inquisidoras en esta cruzada, lo que añade un peso simbólico importante. Además, el "Bosque de las Minorías" refuerza este concepto: todo en este mundo gira en torno a las minorías, ya sea por fe, poder o supervivencia.

Aunque su duración es breve y su combate puede parecer simple, Minoria compensa con su estilo visual, su música atmosférica y el trasfondo temático que invita a la reflexión.

10/10 — Una experiencia corta, pero poderosa. Todo en este juego es una minoría… y eso lo hace único.

体验良好的轻小型2D手绘类银，2周目10小时左右便能体验完所有内容，人物则为卡通渲染风格，特别是表情的细微变化，都能完美展示出来，这点我很喜欢。

米诺利亚的战斗颇为单调，即便武器各种各样，武器的攻击方式也只有两种，哪怕是加上秘香也过于单一了，而且打击感也很僵硬（轻小类银特有的悬丝傀儡）翻滚不能过设防怪，必须破防才让过，防反收益巨高，勤按防反能让这游戏变得无比简单，游戏支持无伤玩法，且每个Boss都有无伤奖励（值得好评），推荐将第一个Boss无伤拿到秘香，能做到事半功倍，最后想吐槽的便是传送了，米诺利亚的传送只有在通关后才会开启而且数量限定（？）实在是太奇怪了。

米诺利亚的剧情本身有不少槽点，但氛围渲染是过关的，不够完美但胜在精简。

总而言之还是十分推荐类银爱好者入手散cdk前来品尝的，在满足探索欲求的同时能够很好的缓解电子ed，这又何尝不是良品呢。

Very good metroid and background story.
Got endeared to this game, 9/10 for me.

Navigating the map:
Note on paper/text file the SAVE FEATHERS locations in the map, and reference to them the distance to doors/places/items locations.

Example:
From start SAVE (then others) distance to a locked door/key/found power up,etc, is X slots east or west, and Y
slots up or down, from it.

This way, always know where to go, or go back to.
Also can note the size and even give a name to any rooms:
X width, Y height to easy re find on the map.

- assign Mouse buttons !!! for this game or any other than doesn't use them.

Used free glovepie.exe to play with Mouse buttons, assiging any key chosen for me in the game choose keys layout options.
Just paste this in glovepie empty text window and run it while playing.

- Jump high and while chain shooting any shot essence, you float down slowly, allow gliding ahead a long distance.
(White Essence minor shot, Black Essence powerful, Ashen Essence razing longer than screen shot)
Below, infinite shots cheat.

- Jump height:
14.5000, Float, Simple Values, on Steam the addresses (vary from session to session) always ends in 8 (hex).
Used mostly 22.0, but can change to any needed.

- All essences, passives and active are 4 Bytes, Exact Value, all can be changed to 99000 or whatever.
For Maxed values for each always add 4 bytes to the base (current but full) value.
Best weapon: Ashen Essence for me.

- Experience (max level 99, some 500000), Health base value and its maxed value are grouped together (4 bytes distances each from the others).

Detail :
- Exp ends in 0 (hex) and is 4 Bytes, easy to find as each foe killed shows the points gained.
- Add 4 bytes and you have Health base value, Float, Simple Value, ends in 4 (hex), can change to 99000
- Add 4 bytes more and you have Health maxed value, Float, Simple Value, ends in 8 (hex), can change to 99000.

The aesthetic and atmosphere are fantastic, but combat and exploration (read: the entirety of gameplay) are dull as dishwater. I got this game on sale for $7 and still feel like I overpaid; it's paper thin in every way imaginable. Avoid.

A Decent Metroidvania game. No a pure souls-like game, but your heals and abilities are limited until you go back to a savepoint to restock

Attack / Dodge / Parry(Non-Bosses) your way against hordes of sinners. It feels cool to be able to chain attack mechanics together to form a combo. Couple of upgrades that further improves the Main Character's combat capabilities.

Small Gripe I have is that some enemy attacks just hit very hard (Usually the ranged attack) that chunks your health and requires you to heal. Obtaining the "Secrets Items" requiring you to Eliminate the boss without taking a hit, while not mandatory to finish the game, It is a bit annoying once you learn extra rewards are given by perfecting a boss. I usually just reset and fight again (I blame my perfectionist side).

If you like this game, and haven't tried Momodora, give it a those a try afterwards.

不知道是不是後面更新了很多次，反正我的體驗跟很多評論差非常多
整體難度中下，格黨的懲罰太小、判定長幾乎隨便開
不格黨也沒關係，翻滾的無敵幀更長也幾乎沒CD一直滾
存檔點也很多隨便滾滾就到下一個了

最大的問題是她雙結局必須二周目，最後一個存檔應該保留在打完最後boss前，而不是之後

整體實驗性質很大，感覺的到作者想要嘗試的東西
但作者說他近期沒有想要做Metroidvania的遊戲
因為momodora系列完結，他也做太多這種類型的遊戲有點疲憊了
是有點可惜想看這款的續作

This is a short but polished experience. A little linear if you're used to more sprawling metroidvanias, but there is still room to explore and find optionals.
