The game is straight Warcraft vibes with that classic RTS kingdom building sauce no cap 🔥. You drop bases, train armies, level up heroes and throw down in massive fantasy battles just like the old school legends.

At first it scratches that nostalgic itch heavy... but real talk now? This whole RTS genre just feels kinda boring to me 💀. Matches drag on forever, the pace is slow, and I can't lock in anymore like I used to back in the Warcraft days. The sauce straight up dried up fr fr.

If you still fw old-school strategy it might still hit for you, but my interest in this style is completely cooked. Solid 6/10 sadge 😭

I brought the game when it first came, before it was pay to win or grind to dead.
Only for the game to change to a ''free to play'' model.

The game was promising and fun in the start, but in the longer run its getting to grindy and slow.
Its clear the game has not aged well sadly.

I won't say i have wasted the time i played the game as i did have fun in the start, but i can't recommend the game as it is anymore.

A cool idea turned bad becasue of greed and lack of effort.

i played most of this game on another platform but read the REAL reviews, the ones that are not written by the devs and their bots for a real idea of how bad this game is lol. The devs are straight up LIARS(look at what their desciption box says about NOT needing to buy in lol), they also appear to have mental health issues, devs boast that its not a pay to win game yet unless you buy the packs you're not getting anywhere. But if you play 18hrs every day, you MIGHT have a chance. I know this is irrelevant but the female voice actor/assistant clown is a misandrist fool and likely only got the job out of pity or bc she 'joined the club', same with the lead dev who comes across as a simp, i hate it when people are more interested in their 'message' than making a good realistic game. Gameplay is ridiculously overcomplicated, poor directing, hints tips etc, regular load or server connection issues, it wont let me use my existing account so not really cross-platform AND it says my ID is already take... yes i know, i took it lol but it seems linking accounts is out even though others dont have this problem. game has a crazy bias so some times it wont matter how strong your force is- if the game isnt ready to let you progress, you're not winning that battle- you usually have to wait for someone else to destroy it lol. commands sometimes dont work, mechanics also have failures such as not activating, over all i give this a generous 4/10 and wont be wasting another minute on it lol.

Игра Kingdom Wars – это затягивающая стратегическая игра в реальном времени, в которой вы развиваете свою цивилизацию и сражаетесь с врагами, чтобы завоевать мир. Игровой процесс прост в освоении, но предлагает достаточную глубину и разнообразие юнитов, героев и улучшений, чтобы оставаться интересным на протяжении долгого времени. Мне особенно нравится, что игра поощряет стратегическое мышление и планирование, а не просто бездумный спам юнитов.

Графика выглядит хорошо, хотя и не потрясает воображение, но она вполне функциональна и не отвлекает от игрового процесса. Звуковое сопровождение также выполнено на достойном уровне и создает атмосферу средневековой войны.

Единственный минус, который я могу выделить – это иногда повторяющиеся сценарии и некоторая "заскриптованность" поведения ИИ. Тем не менее, игра Kingdom Wars - отличный выбор для тех, кто ищет увлекательную и не слишком сложную стратегию для мобильных устройств. Рекомендую к ознакомлению!

Myślę, że jest kilka rzeczy, o których ludzie powinni wiedzieć przed rozpoczęciem gry. Kupiłem Kingdom Wars, zanim stało się grą F2P i miałem dwa miasta na maksymalnym poziomie z bohaterami o wysokim poziomie i wydałem na grę pieniądze, nie tylko kupując ją przed F2P. To moja szczera recenzja tego, co wiem o grze.

BŁĘDY! Przygotuj się na utratę zasobów za wygrywanie meczów PvP. Zgadza się, przegrywasz za wygraną! Jeśli ktoś spróbuje z tobą walczyć, a ty się zgodzisz, a następnie zapłaci ci za ucieczkę z bitwy, wygrywasz i może trochę złota z wypłaty, ALE stracisz 5 tys. jedzenia, 5 tys. drewna i 5 tys. kamienia z zasobów twojego miasta, których wartość zależy od tego, co masz w swoich zasobach, ale to była moja ostatnia porażka z powodu tego błędu. Nie dość, że przegrywasz za wygranie meczu PvP w ten sposób, to jeszcze nie otrzymujesz koron za zwycięstwo, które powinieneś otrzymać. Jedynym sposobem na uniknięcie tego błędu jest walka, aż gra poinformuje Cię o wygranej lub przegranej.

BŁĘDY! Zgadza się, więcej błędów. Ten jednak działa na Twoją korzyść. Tworząc oddziały, aby zbudować armię, czasami zdarza się, że oszukujesz dodatkowe jednostki.

BŁĘDY! Twoje miasto jest pełne drobnych błędów, które czasami są irytujące, ale są drobne i nie warte więcej niż wzmianka o ich istnieniu.

MATKA WSZYSTKICH BŁĘDÓW! Moim zdaniem to poważny błąd! Przygotuj się na utratę wszystkiego! Zgadza się, nie dlatego, że możesz zostać złapany lub zniszczony przez innego gracza, ale dlatego, że za każdym razem, gdy twórcy gry zmieniają grę, niektórzy gracze, nie wszyscy, ale losowo, zostają całkowicie wyczyszczeni, łącznie z Twoim kontem, jakbyś nigdy nie istniał. Wydane pieniądze „puff” znikają, a czas, który spędziłeś, „puff” znika. Wiem to z pierwszej ręki, bo oba moje miasta na maksymalnym poziomie zostały wyczyszczone, a w zamian nie dostałem nawet odpowiedzi od zespołu wsparcia. Po pierwszym razie powiedziałem: „Okej, dawno nie grałem, nic wielkiego, straciłem swoje rzeczy” i poszedłem dalej, odbudowałem wydane pieniądze na pakiety startowe i po kilku tygodniach wróciłem na szczyt. Wtedy właśnie twórcy znowu zmienili zasady gry i znowu wszystko straciłem. Odkąd gra ukazała się przed F2P, włożyłem w nią około 60 dolarów i poświęciłem na nią 288 godzin, czego teraz żałuję. Jeśli jednak nie przeszkadza ci utrata wszystkiego i poświęcenie czasu i pieniędzy na grę, żeby w końcu jakiś błąd mógł cię okraść, to ta gra jest dla ciebie!

Kingdom Wars ma kilka fajnych rzeczy, ale ilość błędów sprawia, że nie warto o nich wspominać, bo psują całą przyjemność z gry. Twórcy nie przejmują się grą – błędy były tam od zawsze i nigdy nie zostały naprawione. Zespół wziął coś, co miało być aktualizacją Kingdom Wars i stworzył z tego samodzielną grę „Kingdom Wars 2: Battles”, która jest tą samą grą z kilkoma dodatkowymi funkcjami. Zespół zrobił to tylko po to, żeby wycisnąć z ludzi jeszcze więcej pieniędzy, zamiast naprawić i zaktualizować grę, którą już stworzył – „Kingdom Wars”. W efekcie Kingdom Wars jest zepsute i strata czasu i pieniędzy.

Ostatecznie nie mogę polecić żadnej gry tego zespołu, ponieważ nie przykładają oni żadnej wagi do gier, które tworzą, poza publikowaniem pełnego błędów gówna, którego nie mają zamiaru naprawiać.

За последние 5 лет разработчики выкатили только два апдейта, но держат сервера открытыми ради пары игроков (на момент моего захода было 3 игрока). Нас тут сразу подкупают и випом на месяц и кучей плюшек в инвентаре, но это не делает игру привлекательной. Через силу провел 1 бой и вырубил...

It's a fun Kingdom sim/City Builder, and even though it's a bit outdated, there's still plenty of enjoyment to be had. When the game had a larger player base, I can imagine it was much more dynamic, especially with PVP opportunities. Unfortunately, as a new player, it's tough to finish the first quest line because of the lack of players, though you can still engage in plenty of combat with NPCs. Overall, it’s still a solid idle game for those looking for something casual, but don't expect a lot of PVP interaction unless you're stronger or lucky enough to find a match.

What the page doesn't actually tell you, something that I was stung by, is the presence of a real life cash shop in the game (where you can buy one of the strongest units in the game, dragons for instance, as well as various "pay-to-win" instances)

As such I would recommend some further research into this game before purchasing.

Edit: This may no longer be true as per my post on the comments section of this original post.
and Graphics issues, and you have to sign up with another website to play it. It used to be a "pay to win" game, but they changed that.

Le jeu est bien en soit mais je trouve qui manque d explication même avec le tutoriel (je n arrive pas a une quête et c est dommage car elle simple mais je ne trouve pas). Sinon le jeu est super les ressource sont bien réparti entre les zone et sa me semble assez équilibrer

the game looks interesting but alas i can not play it due to the text being so small on large setting that i can not see the text without sitting on top of my monitor.. i guess the devs so not understand some people have sight issues.. even using glasses .. i can not see the text to read it.. please increase font size and i will give a good review

Embora eu tenho adquirido (de que forma, não me lembro) Kingdom Wars antes dele ser free to play, eu nunca havia testado esse jogo até agora, então meio maior problema pode ter acompanhado essa mudança: o avanço no jogo é muito lento, obviamente eles esperam que todo mundo gaste dinheiro pra avançar. Outra coisa, achei o gameplay muito limitado de certa forma, sei que o jogo é de 2013, mas pela forma de controlar e o tempo de respostas me parece um jogo de mobile as vezes. Se você for muito fã de RTS acho que vai tirar mais proveito com AoE ou Total War.

Although I have acquired (in what way, I don't remember) Kingdom Wars before it was free to play, I had never tested this game until now, so a bigger problem may have accompanied this change: progress in the game is very slow, obviously. they expect everyone to spend money to move forward. Another thing, I found the gameplay very limited in a way, I know the game is from 2013, but the way it controls and the response time it seems like a mobile game at times. If you're a big fan of RTS, I think you'll get more out of it with AoE or Total War.

Kingdom Wars: Not What It Used to Be

I recently tried Kingdom Wars, hoping to get some good strategy action in, but after spending some time with it, I’ve got mixed feelings. It’s got some positives, but overall, it’s not a game I’d recommend unless you’re prepared for a lot of frustration.

Graphics and Community

The game’s gotten a graphics update, and it does look a lot better than it probably did when it first came out. That’s one thing the developers deserve credit for—they’re still putting in some effort. But the player base? Practically non-existent. The game feels like a ghost town most of the time, which is a real shame for something that depends on community interaction.

Building is Fun, but Combat’s a Mess

The kingdom-building part is decent. You start from scratch and work your way up, gathering resources, managing your kingdom, and fortifying it. That part scratched the strategy itch for me.

Combat, though? That’s where it falls apart. Units don’t behave like they should. Sometimes they just stand there, or they wander off when they’re supposed to be fighting. It’s frustrating, and it kills any tactical plans you try to make. On top of that, the low level cap for units during quests and sieges makes the battles feel limiting and repetitive.

Technical Issues Galore

Here’s the real deal-breaker: the game is buggy as hell. I can’t count how many times I won a siege, only for the game to crash right after. And when it crashes, you lose your progress—and your units. That’s right, all the time and resources you put into building your army? Gone. It’s maddening. Ammo disappears too, so you’re left rebuilding everything after every crash.

Final Thoughts

If you’re thinking about trying Kingdom Wars, I’d honestly say don’t bother. The graphics update might make it look fresh, but the gameplay and technical issues make it a chore to play. With so many better options out there—some even from the same developers—it’s just not worth the time. The game’s hanging on by a thread, and unless there’s a major overhaul, it’s only going to keep fading into obscurity.

Save yourself the headache and play something else.

For all intents and purposes, unplayable. I really did spend nearly 20 hours trying, but with the amount of bugs you really just can't get anywhere. On average you'll see about 6 people online as well. Likely for this very reason.

Remember having many hours of fun playing this game when it first came out. Has a nice blend of Kingdom management and real time combat.

There are plenty of races and classes to use at your disposal for a variety of tactics and strategies in battle.

May not be the prettiest RTS you've seen (even for 2013 standards) but the gameplay mechanics is what I play games for in the first place.

It's a fun Kingdom sim/City Builder even today, and was probably a lot more fun with a larger player base earlier in it's lifespan. As a recently new player, there's no PVP opportunities to finish the first quest line because of the lack of players, at least until I am a lot stronger and can match with the few players that still play.

However, I still think it's a fun idle game to play and still has plenty of opportunities for combat with NPC's.
