J’ai vraiment passé un super moment. Ça m’a permis de découvrir une grosse partie de la saga, et je ne m’attendais pas à autant m’attacher aux personnages.
L’univers est vraiment unique avec le mélange Disney / Final Fantasy, et ça marche toujours aussi bien. Il y a des moments qui m’ont marqué, que ce soit dans l’histoire ou juste avec les musiques.
Tout n’est pas parfait, certains épisodes sont un peu datés niveau gameplay, mais globalement ça reste très plaisant à jouer, surtout Kingdom Hearts II qui est vraiment top.
Franchement, je ne regrette pas du tout, c’est une compilation que j’ai vraiment appréciée du début à la fin

PS : J’ai pas regardé les films inclus et je n’ai pas fait Birth by Sleep, donc mon avis se base surtout sur le reste de la compilation.

I love to play this game. I played it on PlayStation Portable and enjoyed it. When I try to bought it and tried play it on Steam it did not work. I even verified the file, relocated the D Drive to C Drive, disabled the auto sync and even ignored the document file of KH as threat or unblocked in Window Defender and Protection. Nothing works

I end up refunding this game despite I bought it in today sale.

Not worth it! Very upsetting and I am sad that I cannot play this game on steam. My problem is that the game will always crash on screen transitions, at random interval. I have tried everything to remedy this issue to no avail. For example, changing frame rates, gsync/vsync on/off, directly assigning gpu and cpu to run game, turning off all overlays (nvidia/steam/disc etc.), validating the files, reinstalling and even manually washing the files. Nothing works, not a memory leak, just a bad port. This makes me really sad to know I cant play one of my favorite games on pc STILL! I have asked for a refund and hopefully steam will honor my request. Losing game progression over and over is not worth the price, even bundled together and on sale. Square, please fix you game. Not happy and would avoid this mistake of a purchase.

Kingdom hearts is an amazing game series. I am very biased, as I have played it since childhood, but i truely love it. Especially KH1 will always have a special place in my heart.

Sadly, this port is not very good. I have played the first game on an emulator a while back, and i would say the experience was better than this offical version. Especially the buggy shadows bother me a lot. It does, however, runs way more efficient than the emulator does; i get way more abttery life out of my steamdeck with this game.

Since i was a small kid i have always loved the Kingdom Hearts franchise.
While i never got to finish KH1 as a kid, and still haven't as an adult. I can firmly say that even with the nostalgia affecting my judgement of KH2.
I will say that KH2 is a masterpiece that everyone needs to try, from the story to the combat it's what i'd personally say the peak of the franchise.

Sometimes, it won't let you press the buttons on the mouse, and that's a game issue, but this game is strongly recommended by me. The only other "downside" is that the game takes up about 71GB on your PC, but this can be fixed because you can uninstall some of the games you don't want, including the 358/2 Days and Re:coded cutscenes. There's a guide on how to uninstall those games. The six experiences are amazing, and don't give up on KHCOM when battling the Card Soldiers like I did.

面白い、非常に面白い・・・と、言いたいところではあるがそもそも古いゲームなので万人におすすめできるかと言えばNOと言わざるを得ない
特に初代に関しちゃ現代ではロープライスでも出せないレベルなので令和っ子にはきついかもしれない
初代PS以前の世代なら普通に遊べるとは思うがPS３知らん世代だとレトロに分類されそうな作品です
初代以外はかなり動かしやすくなっているのでそちらは３と比較しなければ初代やった後なら爽快です（ReCoMは人を選ぶが）
ちなみにこれやってないと以後のストーリーについていけないので興味があるなら買わないと話になりません（一応３に最低限のダイジェストムービーは収録されいるので誰お前にはならないがすごく感動的なシーンなのに感情移入できない怒涛の展開が待っています）
ただし前述の通り古いゲームであることは覚悟して買ってください

This is the DEFINITIVE Kingdom Hearts experience, HIGHLY REC playing once in your life.

Coming back to Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 ReMix feels like opening a time capsule from my childhood. These games were a huge part of growing up for me, and replaying them now still hits in a way very few series do.

The standouts in this collection for me are Kingdom Hearts 1, Kingdom Hearts 2 (my personal favorite), and Birth by Sleep, which is a very close second. Each one scratches a slightly different itch, but they all carry that same charm, heart, and sense of adventure that made the series special in the first place.

I just finished KH1 again and even went all the way for the Ultima Weapon (yes… the grind is real). If you're going for it, get the dream shield in the beginning of the game for Lucky Strike as early as possible—it makes the process way less painful. KH1’s story is simple but really effective: a story about an optimistic kid thrown into a huge conflict, someone who carries this almost messiah-like presence as he connects people and brings hope to worlds that are falling apart. It’s straightforward, but it works.

Then you get to KH2, and you can immediately feel how much the series evolved. The cutscenes, the pacing, the emotional beats—everything feels like it was turned up ten levels. For me personally, KH2 has the best story in the series, and the cinematic quality of the scenes is miles ahead of the first game. I’m currently working my way through KH2 again right now, and it’s reminding me why it’s my favorite.

After that, I’m honestly really anxious to jump back into Birth by Sleep. I remember how emotional that story was the first time I played it, and I’m looking forward to experiencing it again once I finish KH2. In a lot of ways, BBS carries some of the same themes as KH1—friendship, destiny, and the pull between light and darkness—but it presents them in a much heavier way. You could even argue Birth by Sleep is the darkest game in the series, which is kind of funny to say about a game that still has Disney worlds in it.

The three-character structure and the way their stories intertwine made BBS really memorable for me, and it’s a big reason it sits just behind KH2 as one of my favorites (who knows might be my favorite after this playthrough)

If you grew up with these games, this collection is absolutely worth revisiting. And if you somehow missed them, this is one of the best ways to experience a series that blends Disney charm, JRPG storytelling, and some of the most memorable characters in gaming.

Even after all these years, it still feels like coming home.

p.s. I might try playing ReCOM but every time i try i just end up giving up. DO not get me wrong this is a great game with a great story but it had very different gameplay compared to the other three on this list.

This is the first time I attempt to experience any Kingdom Hearts game, given that I grew up being a PC gamer and they (KH games) were Playstation exclusive until a few years ago. As you can imagine, I'm old enough to have grown up in the era where Disney shows were legit good (Darkwing Duck, Duck Tales, etc.) and the movies were top tier in terms of budget, quality, 2D animation etc. Stuff that unfortunately we can only get only from anime. But I digress.

This is a review from just a mere hour in. AN HOUR? What could I possibly have to say in terms of the game (or even the franchise) within an hour? As you can tell, not much. I'm not here to give a well-thought critique of the games. You can find those anywhere on the internet. I'm only here to share my impression, which can obviously change over time. So why share it now? Why not wait a few games later to review?

Because I experienced something I wasn't really expecting, and it was GOOD. Spoilers for the first hour of the game incoming.

Truth be told, I always thought these games to be on the button mashing side, given that their target audience is ... obviously not me. I'm old, cranky, grouchy. I pretty much bought the "Kingdom Hearts Integrum Masterpiece" collection on a whim, after seeing a colleague wearing a necklace who claimed to be a "Heartless necklace from Kingdom Hearts". And I generally trust that his taste aligns with mine when it comes to video games and women!

So, here I am choosing the hardest difficulty, playing Sora, seeing new faces and some old ones in Destiny Islands. And they offer me to fight them. Okay, sure! Time to button mash my way through... Except that I can't, and get my ♥♥♥♥ pushed. Nani the ♥♥♥♥? Isn't this supposed to be a game for children?! Maybe I'm missing a few levels because, you know, JRPG's and grinding go hand-in-hand with using LLM's to write code and skill issues.

But, instead of grinding I decided to fix my skill issues. I paid close attention to their attack patterns. I figured out that everyone yells before attacking so I tried to time my attacks with the sound. I hit Wakka with his ball so many times he's basically a Bakka. I deflected Selphie's Nunchaku, and poked the hell out of Riku with hit-and-run single attacks that I can beat him flawlessly.

My Riku score is 5-1 now. I own this place, and everyone pays me potions for protection. If the combat system stays just as fun I'm in for a treat! As for the story? I already have more questions than answers, and I believe this to be a good thing. It would've been boring otherwise.

Edit: Ninja edit to say that, the Linux performance (Proton GE + CachyOS + freesync + AMD CPU + AMD GPU) is top tier, and actually better than Windows 11 because I don't experience freesync flickering by simply adding gamescope and a few flags that lock the game's framerate. If that /whooshed you over or/and you don't even care about Linux, ignore this.

i bought these games yet again to finally fulfill my childhood dream of playing them in the Japanese language. it is so awesome to play them in Japanese.

kingdom hearts 1 & 2 are some of the greatest games of all time. i have played them both so many times on every console I’ve owned. it is really cool to play these games i grew up with on PC with a keyboard and mouse.

these final mix versions have a lot of extra grind by collecting synthesis materials which can get pretty annoying. but the ultima weapons are very much worth the effort and they look awesome.

kingdom hearts birth by sleep is pretty clunky as it was originally made for the PSP and has a different gameplay system called the command deck which takes a lot of getting used to. the story is exciting but overall less enjoyable than the originals.

unfortunately, re:coded and 358/2 days are only available as cutscenes here. i definitely recommend playing the original versions on nintendo DS or on a DS emulator, they are very fun and easily overlooked by fans of the series. i also recommend playing the original chain of memories for game boy, the 2D sprites in that game are so cute and the card battle system is fun there. it takes a lot of getting used to though.

re:chain of memories, which is available in this collection, is awful in my opinion- that is the only bad game here but unfortunately is necessary to play for the achievements. if you do like the card battle system i really recommend going and playing the original chain of memories.

dream drop distance is only available in the other collection which is disappointing as that one is pretty good game. also i hate the story in kingdom hearts 3, i would not recommend that game at all if you like the story in these games. but the gameplay in 3 is very fun. it feels like a modern update to 2’s gameplay.

if you really want to just play the best games just play 1 & 2. they are both so so good in every way.

무려 6개의 게임 합본팩이에요. 가성비 때문에라도 추천을 할 수 밖에 없는 게임.
명작으로 평가받는 시리즈로, 반가운 얼굴들을 많이 볼 수 있는 게임입니다.
다만, 옛날 게임이라 그런지 이래저래 단점들이 있습니다.

- 킹덤 하츠 1 : 조작감이 좋지 않고 쓸 데 없는 플랫포머 구간들이 꽤 있어요.
- 체인 오브 메모리즈 : 방 넘어갈 때마다 로딩이 너무 길고, 영상이 너무 느리게 재생되는데 소리는 정상 재생이라 소리 먼저 다 듣고 느릿느릿 영상을 봐야 해요. 그런데 영상이 많은 게 함정. (원인은 모니터 주사율 때문이라는 것 같습니다.)
- 358/2 days : 플레이 안 함
- 킹덤 하츠 2 : 그래픽카드 옵션에서 수직 동기화 설정을 해제하지 않으면 엄청 느려요. 극후반부에 급격한 난이도 상승으로 레벨업 노가다를 강제합니다.
- 버스 바이 슬립 : 플레이 안 함
- 코디드 : 플레이 안 함

추가적으로 한글화가 안 되어 있어서 영어로 봐야 하는 단점까지..
그래도 그럭저럭 평타는 치는 시리즈에요.

So I've thought about it for a while, and while I do still enjoy the games, I can't really recommend purchasing this collection based on my experience with crashes and the experiences others have had with crashing. This isn't everyone, but if it affects you it can range from mild inconvenience all the way to "I'm planning playing/grinding around crashes after every objective or two." Which can really spoil playing through any game, but with no autosave feature to help preserve your saves it keeps you hovering save points

In my experience settings didn't resolve this, so I'd recommend a console version, whatever that looks like for you. The games are still fun and hold up pretty well for older games, so if I ever discover a fix that isn't "buy these parts instead," I may change my recommendation. The same collection exists elsewhere though, so no need to focus on getting this particular one.

kingdom Hearts is my favorite video-game franchise of all time. to this day, its one of those games i come back to almost every year, just to relive that feeling of waking up on a sunday morning and playing it alongside my siblings. it has the emotional connection of classic walt disney movies and final fantasy titles, beautifully crafted under the direction of tetsuya nomura and the incredibly talented creative team at square enix.

no matter what anyone says, you can start the series in almost any order and still piece everything together in your own way. the fun isn’t *𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺* in the story, but in the mechanics and in the way the narrative unfolds. you can simply begin with the entry that draws your attention the most and still have a meaningful experience.

even decades later, kingdom hearts remains one of the best (and strangest!) decisions ever made in gaming. it captures a time when video games felt more experimental and genuinely fun. it often appears to take itself very seriously, yet theres a self-aware charm underneath it all. the lore and continuity are surprisingly intricate, to the point where you might find yourself genuinely moved by a scene featuring mickey mouse.

maybe im biased after playing these games for most of my life, but i can confidently say that when you play this, you’re entering something thoughtfully crafted and emotionally resonant. the combat system is incredibly well designed (especially in kingdom hearts II). the magic system remains solid throughout the series, and the overall gameplay experience feels fluid, dynamic, and constantly evolving. some entries have their shortcomings, like the lack of gameplay in 358/2 days, but even then, the added cutscenes and remastered soundtrack help it hold up very well within the collection.

this collection is a must-play for both newer and older players, its one of those games that somehow feels timeless, no matter how many years pass. easily one of the standout achievements from square enix's golden era!!

kingdom Hearts is one of those games that can shape how someone understands love and friendship. it may seem corny at times, but it embraces that sincerity without apologizing. its vulnerable by nature, through the way its characters connect, support each other, and reach out even when everything feels lost. they’re tested, fractured, re:built.

I have played kingdom hearts since its release way back when and the fact that it has a pc port now is the best thing to ever happen in the history of the world. I cant tell you how nostalgic it is to be playing these games again after soooo many years since the last time that i have played. The adventure feels like it never stopped and i am so happy to be playing again, If you have never played these games then you really need to get them and give them a try, you have no idea what you are missing out on and if you have played before you know that you have to re buy them and run them back.

Amazing rpg game and very good completion. Aside from the random times it crashes game is excellent. For me the game would always randomly crash if I was going through screens to fast always after I hit the pause button to go to menu and when I would alt tab out and in and hit pause. Other then that solid port over and all playing smooth.

Those with Nvidia should not get this. Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 work fine, but Birth by sleep is a mess, crashes, or just, in my experience has the cutscenes just a scraggy mess. There is also the lighting bug in RE:Chain of memories that has a small in game fix for the game itself, but not the cutscenes. And it has been such a long time and these issues still have not been fixed. I know there is a mod, but that is for Kingdom Hearts 2 specifically.

Okay, this is a collection of games.

First, Kingdom Hearts. This is the game that started it all. Its a timeless classic and is just as good now as it was back then. Mixes final fantasy with Disney pretty well. Not too minigame heavy. Monkeys are a problem though....

Re Chain of Memories. This travesty should never have been made. It is mind numbing at best. RNG stacked on RNG stacked on RNG. Why??? Who knows. It does add about 15 minutes of canon story material though that is important.... pretty much at the end.

3258/2. Really too bad that this was cinematic only. About 3 hours of cinematics. Great though and essential to the story.

Kingdom Hearts 2. Shrooms are bad... Game play is great, but a bit more formulaic compared to Kingdom Hearts 1. We also see the true power of Minnie Mouse. She is OP. Fun hidden stuff at the end.

Re Coded. Again... why?? This one is a cinematic replay of the first two numbered games.... with approximately 5 minutes of new important stuff... at the end.

Birth By Sleep. Those dead zombie duck eyes and that music. Ice Cream Beat is the second worst thing about this series. The first is Chain of Memories. This is a close second. And again, Minnie Mouse... here she is an absolute monster. This game is a prequel, about 10-11 years before Kingdom Hearts 1. Fun game, aside from the Ice Cream.... You get to play the game 3 times from 3 angles. This game shows you what real gaslighting is.... Poor T.

Overall, a great series. And the series continues into 2.8 before going into 3.

Alors, n'ayant pas fait les Kingdom Hearts a l'époque et voyant qu'ils sont sortie enfin sur steam, je me suis dit go me lancée.

les jeu ne sont pas mauvais, sauf chain of memories qui et horible a jouer par rapport a sont support d'origine, pour le coup j'aurais préférer faire 358/2 days que juste avoir des cinématique.

mais du coup pourquoi cet avis négatif, ces simple, quand tu porte tes jeu sur épic, que tu sais qu'il y'a des problèmes, au pif le jeu plantes pendant les cinématique, car tu et EN PLEIN ECRAN et qu'ensuite tu les portes 5ans plus tard sur steam, sans rien patcher.
on et ou la, donc on ce mange le méme problèmes alors qu'il et connue depuis sont portage sur épic...
Ce qui me diront "tu met juste en fenétré ces pas grave"
bah si tu t'appelle square énix ta pas d'excuse, tu avais juste a patcher, il l'on méme pas fait, ces pas a moi de faire de la magie ou de chercher pendant 30mn pourquoi ca bug.
ou modifier mes paramètre de jeu car square a la flemme de faire un patch, et je le re-dit ces un problèmes connue, ces juste honteux de leurs part.

ah et ou et la VF ?

have to give it a thumbs up because it is kingdom hearts. Unfortunately, this is the best way to play these games on pc. They are just as buggy and difficult to get working and especially to mod, as emulation. The audio will continuously go up and down in very large and sudden intervals throughout the entire game and there is no stopping it, the framerate, if set to anything but 60, will fluctuate up or down to 60 especially during combat, and crashes are just as frequent as a modded emulator romhack. This is not a good pc port, but it IS kingdom hearts 1 and 2, so... its a thumbs up, sorry.

The intro to Kingdom Hearts 2 is worth the money alone. Hands down best intro song in a video game. It's the classic games you know and love with some extra goodies added in. So much nostalgia to back when I first played it on the PS2. Still holds up, somethings are kind of outdated but nothing completely ground breaking. I would definitely recommend.

Easily the buggiest port to PC I've dealt with. Randomly loses compatibility with pretty much everything, suddenly stops loading games over night with no updates to windows, steam, or the program itself, millions of posts of how to "fix" it but none actually work since its a problem with the software itself. IF you can get it to work, its a great time. IF. Key word.

I had no problems with Kingdom Hearts 1 or Chain of Memories, but the remaster of Kingdom Hearts 2 is very buggy. The biggest issue is that the audio cuts out constantly during combat, and there does not appear to be a way to fix this online. I have also experienced several graphical glitches and a few game crashes. Considering these remasters are a few years old now I doubt Square Enix will bother patching the game any time soon. To be fair this only seems to be an issue with KH2, but I find it unacceptable.

Edit: I mentioned only experiencing occasional crashes, but starting Act 2 I have began experiencing constant crashes, one every thirty minutes or so. I tried all the obvious fixes like updating my drivers and nothing is working. I would highly recommend avoiding this port.

*cough cough* this game came out 24 years ago. This game is an absolute classic, I have beaten the ps2 version and this version on pc final mix. The game ran solid, you can notice some old textures once in a while that made me laugh. This game is one of the few that gets away with it’s cringe and battle system. I forgot how much this game is you fighting the camera and how sluggish the combat feels. In 2002, it was still the same but not as noticeable. But in 2026, yeah that camera is not moving for you.

This is one of those games that deserves a remake just to flesh out the battle system and those horrendous camera controls. There is a very good reason there are a thousand kingdom hearts game and I feel like a square collab is damn near never a miss. The art style is eye popping, and the music is a banger. The voice acting is really on point for the most part and they grabbed so many of the original VAs which shows a lot of love in their work. They did not have to and a lot of ps2 games would have some weird sounding voice actors of beloved characters and it would just rub you the wrong way.

This game is a lot shorter than expected and like I kind of stumbled into the under 15 hr achievement by accident. It is easily worth the recommend, I really do need to play the other games; I have only beat this one and the psp game, I know I really need to play KH2.

spent more time trying to fix issues on the game than actually playing including the hours ive spent playing during my childhood

set my frame rate to 30,60,120
tried turning off all my vsync stuff in game in on my pc
no i dont have gsync on
i have a 4070ti and somehow get frame drops
i will say i do have bad cpu AMD 5 3600 6 cores
i tried all the launch codes dx11,dx12,d311 or whatever its called
i also verified the files over and over

9.5/10 collection.

Runs well especially on Steamdeck.

4 games, 2 short movies.

KH1 is probably the only installment that feels dated in its gameplay simplicity. You'll play mostly for the story, which is enough due to the gameplay being fun and engaging enough to have you sit through the journey.

The story is super interesting even today, the worldbuilding of why all these worlds collide and exist together, Disney, Final Fantasy and new original characters is interesting, thematically and emotionally. The games atmosphere despite being heavy on Disney has alot of dark tones and settings with alot of its characters and certain worlds like Hallow Bastion. Alot ppl today will complain about how convoluted the narrative has become, but its just overthinking, almost any series thats run this long has cracks in its story, RE, MGS, heck even films like the MCU. Its what happens when you have to do alot of fanservice while juggling new story beats.

Chain Of Memories serves as a nice bridge story for KH2, but this game is strictly about the gameplay, as the atmosphere and set pieces are very simple and plain, its also a linear installment meaning no exploration like all the other games this is because COM is a rpg card game rather than an action game like the rest. COM has one of the most underated card battle systems around, it has alot of depth and tons of gameplay expression, creating the perfect deck to feel like a god is awesome.

KH2 and BBS are the gems and winners here. Both games still hold up incredibly well, both have varied gameplay systems, bunch of mechanics and improved and faster combat. Story wise some of the peak in the series. Combat gameplay so good you want these systems to return in later or spin off installments.

The only cons of this collection is the 30 fps cinematics and lower resolution on them, these were the days were being cheap was the norm, unfortunately today alot of companies still try and be cheap with their remasters/ports.

KH fans don't need convincing with this collection, this is definitive way to catch up on the series while also playing the best versions of them, higher framerate gameplay and the added content versions of the Final Mix versions.

For non KH fans, but ppl wanting a good action rpg game with a absorbing story and intriguing worldbuilding will find KH2 and BBS worth it, the other games might be skippable if you're not too invested in the story long term, and if you're not too keen on Card based gameplay.

At 50 bucks it was absolutely worth the value at release. But this collection is old now even if it is recent on PC. And I feel the price should have lowered by 10 bucks atleast.

Still worth it full price if you dont wanna wait for a sale cause of all the content, a def steal on sale.

Hands one of the best gaming narratives to get into and follow, up there with FF, RE, MGS, Uncharted, DMC, Yakuza etc. A journey worth taking, especially to see what comes next with the new installment being worked on.
