没拿全优秀奖杯。。根本看不出来哪关没拿到都是一样的。。一不小心就进下一关了。。坑死强迫症难不成重玩一遍。

В целом игра терпимая, если заходить сессионно. Есть 3 места под ресторан с разным антуражем. У каждого ресторана есть прокачка и денег на это даётся с запасом. Как раз ближе к концу игры уже точно всё будет прокачано. Также есть прокачка дополнительная на различные эффекты - бронза, серебро и золото. Оформление приятное, но иногда мелодии накладываются одна на другую - так было в финале.
На всё прохождение потребовалось 6 часов рутинного игрового процесса и как раз выбились все карточки. Для любителей играть на разных устройствах облако не завезли, но зато есть простые достижения - все выбиваются по мере прохождения.
По итогу очередная простенькая игра для отдыха, где можно просто выбить все достижения.

A very chill cooking game. No frills. Just pleasant music, entertaining gameplay loop. Easy achievements.
It is an ok restaurant time management game. It has 60 levels in total across 3 different restaurants (all work the same, they just look differently and you have to re-buy upgrades).
Works fine on Linux with Proton (Proton 4.11-11).
I really enjoy the Katy and Bob game series, give it a try if you like cake mania or dinner dash

It is a super easy game, and is essentially the same the entire time, with a change of fruits each area. It could be repetitive to people, but if you want a game to play just to pass some time, it's good.

A nice little time management game, although it's extremely easy. Not sure how you'd ever lose a level. Sometimes there are also relatively long periods of waiting for customers to arrive. It's rather boring compared to other time management games. But it's good if you just want something simultaneously chill and moderately stimulating.

i love the seemingly outdated graphics, but i hate how repetitive everything is. with other time management games you often change maps with different layouts but here the restaurant more or less stays the same for all the levels and you just upgrade here and there which just makes it very boring. the game isn't challenging either so it quickly becomes a snooze fest.
not only is this game boring, but it has no cloud saves. so when i uninstalled it and came back to it to get all my achievements i had to start all over.
on top of all this, when looking at the devs game history it seems that they just make the same game over and over again and only reskin it. very lazy and not appreciated. at least the game is cheap but i would still only recommend it on discount.

When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.
Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.
With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.
After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.
Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.
Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.
Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.

I completed the entire game and received every achievement. It was a really fun but simple game. It really scratched a dinner dash/cake mania itch that I have had for a while as I grew up playing these types of games. If you enjoy that type of experience, this is for you!

I found the basic mechanics of K&B Safari Cafe to be well developed. I was able to manipulate the use of the fireworks to make so much extra gold coins that I had my kitchens completely built less than halfway through the play for each kitchen.
Which brings me to the complaint: They removed the different kitchens for the most part. Knowing that I had to complete my kitchen within x numbers of levels was the very thing that made me excited to play these games. Once that feature was gone, the game just became a question of wtf am I doing this for???
I'm guessing that it was the result of too many complaints that made the devs decide to make that one fatal decision to NOT give us a new kitchen every 10/20 levels. WTF guys??? WHY?
You removed the very thing that made these games so charming. Now, this one plays like all of the others out there. Very sad indeed. PLEASE fix this if you make more!
I did I get my money's worth as I bought this on sale--or in a bundle--or both???
However, because game play was in the same kitchen for most of the game, I often found myself shutting the game down, or just not wanting to play. So, the value on this game was minimal this time around because it was not very enjoyable to play overall.
I HIGHLY recommend this game IF it is on sale.
I recommend this game at full price ONLY if you enjoy repeating the same levels over and over for no reason at all.

These are all reskins of exactly the same mobile app! What value do these shallow, fake reskins of a low quality mobile app have for gamers? None at all!
Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.
There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision.
The game features simple, cartoony 2D graphics, of the type you normally expect to see in low effort mobile apps. 3D graphics programming does require a degree of skill and competence and unfortunately not all developers have the budget or talent to deliver this, despite 3D graphics cards hitting the mainstream in the 1990's. Considering this is being evaluated as a PC game, having the graphics phoned in like this isn't going to result in a high quality, visually impressive game that PC gamers are used to seeing.
The controls can't be customised because the game has such a dumbed down, simplified interface that it's just point and click stuff like a browser/Flash game. The fact that the interface is this dumbed down might be seen as a problem in itself, however... this is a fairly shallow experience if you're the kind of gamer that likes to play games with deep, rich control schemes and interaction. You'll get none of that here.
These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.
You don't have to take my word about how bad the game is, we can measure the interest in a game by how much people bothered to play it. "Katy and Bob: Safari Cafe" has achievements, and they show us a very clear picture that the game absolutely failed to capture any interest from gamers. The most commonly and easily attained achievement is for getting some tips from customers, trivial to achieve, but less than 7 percent of players bothered to get that far before uninstalling the game. That's a tiny, tiny proportion of gamers who even bothered with this. Ouch.
Reviewing SteamDB to check how popular this game was with players reveals a surprise... there's a very healthy spike in player counts for the game. But this isn't consistent with the achievement stats, that show less than 7 percent of players bothered playing the game for any reasonable amount of time. How is it possible for this game to have so many concurrent players who weren't even playing the game? Trading cards. Players will use card idling software to collect the cards and sell them, but this won't trigger any achievements in-game. That tells us people only really bought this game for trading cards, and that's a damning indictment of the woeful quality. A closer look at the numbers shows the game just has a couple of players every week running up the game and idling it for cards, then deleting it. We must ask how it benefits gamers for there to be so many games like this, with no merit as a serious game, that only generate sales from people idling and selling the trading cards.
"Katy and Bob: Safari Cafe" has the total ripoff price of around $5 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the sheer number of completely free, much higher quality games on Steam.

Katy and Bob: Safari Cafe must have been a product of a brainstorming session that ran out of steam halfway. It's a game that manages to combine the tediousness of repetitive gameplay with a narrative that's as thin as tracing paper, and characters whose depth is comparable to a puddle.
The game is advertised as a time management adventure featuring a couple, Katy and Bob, who are running a cafe in the middle of a safari. But the reality of the game experience is far from adventurous or exciting. The tasks are mundane, and the pace doesn't elevate the experience. It's like the developers decided to wrap a dull, everyday job in a safari-themed wrapper and call it a game.
The character development of Katy and Bob leaves much to be desired. For a game that centers around a couple, there's a conspicuous lack of genuine connection or relationship dynamics between them. They might as well be two random people tossed together for no apparent reason. The character interactions are about as stimulating as watching paint dry.

Short but enjoyable game. It was frustrating to start all over again each time you enter a new region (3 regions total), but I guess if you don't play it all in one sitting it wouldn't be as bad.

I know some people may like this game for this reason but I found the speed and pace to be too quick. I play games like these to unwind and de-stress but it's difficult with how fast guests and orders come and how many things there are to manage: like the juice, burgers, freezing, fruit for the monkey, there was too many things combined with how fast the pace is and it just wasn't for me. I recommend it if you like games like Penguin Diner or Diner Dash and it's a good game, but just too overwhelming for me personally.

А если серьёзно, вряд ли в игровой индустрии появится что-то лучше чем Сафари кафе Кэти и Боба. Симбиоз из занимательного геймплея, интереснейшей истории и фотореалистичной графики никого не оставит равнодушным.

60 etapów do przejścia podzielonych na 3 różne lokale, choć nazwanie ich „różnymi” jest trochę na wyrost, bo są niemal identyczne. Grafika ogólnie jest dość kiepska.
Jeśli chodzi o fabułę, to jest taka, jakby jej nie było.
Każdy etap ma dwa progi pieniężne do osiągnięcia – podstawowy i ekspert. Na każdym poziomie jest też zadanie dodatkowe… a ich różnorodność zamyka się bodajże w liczbie 5 i skomplikowaniu na poziomie zerowym (a przydałoby się trochę polotu i finezji w tej smutnej jak nie powiem co grze). Jest też taki problem, że etapy, na których nie osiągnęło się progu eksperta, nie są w żaden sposób wyróżnione na mapie, więc jak nie udało mi się na jednym, to nie jestem w stanie go zlokalizować, by zdobyć wszystkie pucharki na złoto (takie dodatkowe wewnętrzne trofea).
W restauracji możemy użyć sztucznych ogni, które napełniają do pełna pasek cierpliwości klienteli i sprawiają, że rzuca nam ona napiwki, ale mechanika ta jest tak nieprzemyślana, że pozwala nam nabijać gotówkę w nieskończoność i ekspresowo wykupić wszystkie ulepszenia, bo poziomy nie mają limitu czasowego (fajerwerki regenerują się szybciej, niż spada cierpliwość).
Od biedy pograć można, zwłaszcza że na promocjach kosztuje to 1,79 zł, ale nie brakuje o wiele lepszych gier z tego gatunku.

A graphically beautiful little game. I found it to be both simple and fun. Every interaction is done through the mouse and the ability to upgrade parts of the shop after every level gives a compelling sense of 'need to do' that can keep the player going for quite a while. I've certainly had a good time with it and can easily imagine my self returning for more in the future.

Есть много разных таймкиллеров и это один из хороших примеров. Есть свои недочеты, но, добавив в желаемое и взяв по скидке - не пожалеете в целом. Впечатления остаются хорошими, а время убивается на ура.
[b] Из плюсов [/b]
+ Нарастающая сложность которая перерастает в хард-внимательность с аккуратным прокликиванием. Очень достойно, развивает внимание. Люблю когда развиваешься от игр поэтому это жирный плюс на мой взгляд.
+ Достижения - не простые, но и не заставляют сильно изворачиваться
+ Музыка / Звуковое сопровождение - на уровне индюшатины, подстать игре. В целом сойдет.
+ Поверх надет сюжет на который мне честно сказать всё-равно, но тем кому нравятся всякие поверхностные детальки думаю зайдет. Я пролистывал сюжет, но некоторые детали всё же бросались в глаза и были интересны.
[b] Из минусов [/b]
- Игра надоедает ближе к концу, последние 20 уровней мне казались рутиной, поэтому растянул их на какое-то длительное время, что собственно помогло (то-есть поигрывал время от времени). У игры проблема с балансом и ближе к концу (как раз последние 20 уровней) вы попадаете в стадию "всё готово, всё могу" и на этом этапе игра не может дать вам "вызов", которого не хватает. Единственный вызов идет вашему вниманию, чем игра еле удерживает. Но, этот минус вполне игнорируется если смириться с ним.
В целом индюшатина 7/10
(-3 балла только за упомянутый минус, а так годно).

Купил эту пошечку по скидончику, но руки дошли лишь сейчас. Пройдя 20 уровней, я понял, что это еб анн ая помойка на 60 одинаковых уровней. 20 уровней прогресса ушли в никуда, а так там будет еще 2 раза. в целом, игра - пушка, но не всем зайдет, так как зае бало. Позорные анимации, кривые модельки, еба нн ый сюжет и сра ный Боб оценка: 2\10

Есть карточки. Рисованная интересная игра в стиле подай принеси, чтобы выполнить задание. Просто и сурово.
Графика не понравилась, можно было рисовать более реалистично. Но это уже мои личные желания. Детская игра замечательная, но как взрослая то не очень. Саундтрек хороший, но долго слушать не возможно. Звуки очень хорошие. История повествования этого приключения показана в коротком комиксе. Это стандартная система для такого типа игры на подобие Алаваровских игр. Ничего нового и сюжетного нет. Разработчики тупо копируют сюжет друг у друга. Ну ведь ты можешь сделать уникальный сюжет и видео, и мульт, почему всё так примитивно и скучно? На мобилке то сойдёт, а вот на ПК уже нет. Зачем выпускать одинаковые клоны и даже не постараться разнообразить игровой процесс?

I will start off by saying, this game is not for those looking for a challenging time management game. It was a pretty easy game to play. The first game (Katy and Bob: Way Back Home) was far more challenging and had a bit more story line. All that being said, it was a fun game. For the price, it had hours of game play. It would be good for the truly casual or new to time management players.
