The store page says this game contains all 3 Incitement titles, but only Incitement 3 exists in my library. Furthermore,
1. When I checked developer's page, I didn't see first two titles.
2. Steam never asks me which title I'd like to play when I click "Play" on Incitement 3.
3. I checked SteamDB, which has almost no information on both titles.
I tried Incitement 3 for a bit, but obviously I was confused with the story and there were 4 combats within about 10 minutes. So I simply don't recommend this game.
Incitement 3 is a small but earnest sci-fi RPG that pushes the limits of what an RPG Maker–based title can do, aiming to deliver a focused story with tactical combat, a sizable playable cast, and a surprisingly expansive sense of world-building. Developed by Astronomic Games and published by New Reality Games, it presents itself as the concluding act of a trilogy but remains approachable even if you haven’t played the earlier entries. The setup is classic science fiction: society has just endured a devastating EMP event that crippled the Sophorian civilization, leaving governments, military groups, and clandestine factions scrambling for dominance in the aftermath. Into this uncertain landscape steps Adrial, the protagonist, who quickly becomes entangled in conspiracies and political unrest that threaten to escalate into another catastrophe. The narrative wastes little time in pulling you into its orbit, offering a steady mix of mystery, tension, and escalating stakes.
Structurally, the game leans on familiar JRPG conventions, but it manages to add enough curveballs to keep the combat and progression engaging. Battles unfold in a side-view, turn-based format that uses fully animated enemy sprites instead of static images, giving fights more personality than you might expect from a VX Ace project. The roster of characters is impressively large for a short RPG — seven primary party members and several additional temporary allies — allowing for experimentation in party composition and combat roles. Each character has distinct skills tied to their personality or background, and some rely on specialized ammunition or unique resource types. This encourages you to plan ahead, stock up on appropriate supplies, and adjust your strategy depending on the enemies you anticipate facing. The add-on system for equipment customization adds another layer of control, letting you craft offensive, defensive, or utility-oriented builds based on your preferred approach.
Because Incitement 3 is designed around momentum rather than grind, it moves at a brisk pace. Most players finish the story in under ten hours, but the adventure rarely feels rushed. Instead of padding the experience with filler battles or repetitive quests, the game focuses on narrative beats, set-piece encounters, and exploration that offers just enough context to flesh out its world. Environments can feel generic, and certain tilesets clash with the darker, more serious tone the story aims for. Some players may find that the game’s art style doesn’t fully support its dystopian atmosphere, making scenes feel brighter or more cartoonish than intended. Combat balance also wavers at times. Difficulty spikes appear in later battles where enemies gain access to sweeping area attacks or disproportionately strong abilities. I am 32 years old.
My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old.
When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.
Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.
With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.
After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.
Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.
Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.
Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.

Страшно представить сколько однообразных поделок на движке "RPG Maker" существует в стиме. Как правило они все как на один подбор, их катастрофически много, но они при этом мало чем отличаются между собой. Однако разработчик "Astronomic Games" более добросовестно подходит к созданию своих проектов на данном движке. Это уже третья или четвёртая игра от них, с которой я ознакомился. У всех них интересный сюжет, приятные визуал и анимация, неплохая музыка и длительная продолжительность. И эта игра не стала исключением. В игре интересный научно-фантастический сюжет, в космическом антураже. Мир достаточно большой для исследований. В распоряжение большое количество персонажей, разные режимы сложности, хороший саундтрек, разнообразные экипировка и оружие, а так же различные бонусы.
В общем, это неплохой представитель игры, сделанной на движке "RPG Maker". Многие игры, созданные на этом движке, зачастую, однообразны, а иногда и откровенно плохи, что заметно выделяет эту игру. Разработчик постарался наполнить её контентом. Сюжет хорош, и по нему интересно продвигаться. А музыка только добавляет к ней интерес, создавая свою атмосферу.

Как показывает практика чаще всего игры на [i] RPG Maker[/i] бывают двух видов: ужасные и скучно-плохие. [i] Incitement 3[/i] относится ко второму классу, что уже не так уж и ужасно.
Нас встречает безумно маленькое игровое окошко, которое создаёт неудобство игроку уже с первых секунд. Меню нам всячески намекает, что ситуацию поменять нельзя. Окей, начинаем. Вот опять я читаю несколько абзацев текста вводных в мир игры, через время нам дают героев. Главное, что после получения управления можно сменить разрешение. Вот теперь можно и поиграть. Дальнейший игровой процесс совершенно не удивляет. Почти все игры на этом конструкте предельно похожи, и Incitement 3 точно такая же во всех своих аспектах.
На экране традиционно дикое мылище без какого-либо намёка на такие повседневные вещи вроде теней или света. Звуки тоже безумно обыденны, тут, как правило, всё берут из конструктора подчистую. Музыка тоже скучна.
Возможно, если вы какой-то дикий фанат игр с [i] RPG Marker[/i] вы углядите тут среднего качество продукт, но всем остальным явно стоит пройти мимо. Вот, что ещё примечательно. Игра то вышла аж в 2015, а разработчики покупают на неё обзоры.

作为系列完结作，《Incitement 3》暴露了独立开发者对“复杂系统”的过度迷恋：11名角色看似丰富，实则技能同质化严重，多数人形同鸡肋；配件组装系统被吹捧为深度策略核心，实则是用数值堆砌掩盖设计懒惰，头部配件决定升级属性、武器配件叠加暴击率等设定，本质上只是把《暗黑地牢》的饰品系统拆碎了硬塞进科幻框架。更糟糕的是，弹药管理系统强行制造资源焦虑，高难度下狙击手因缺弹沦为摆设，而开发者却将此称为“策略深度”。
叙事层面，本作对新人极其不友好：开篇抛出的“Sophorian文明”“EMP灾难”等概念毫无铺垫，剧情对话充斥着故作高深的哲学废话，连基本的人物动机都模糊不清。战斗动画虽流畅，但千篇一律的侧视角回合制打斗，配上重复度极高的科幻仓库场景，8小时流程宛如坐牢。
最讽刺的是，开发者一边用“买三赠二”的噱头营销，一边在游戏内塞入Patreon乞讨链接，与其说这是科幻RPG，不如说是用免费前作骗情怀的众乞模拟器。

Spiele wie Incitement 3 zeigen, was mit dem Programm RPG Maker so möglich ist. Nicht immer braucht es atemberaubende Graphiken, bis ins letzte ausgefeilte Menüs und Steuerungen, um etwas Spaß zu haben. Für Zwischendurch und besonders bei Rabattaktionen (teilweise unter einem Euro) zu empfehlen.
This will be an interesting review since this will be split into three parts since I don't remember if the store page tells you this, but this isn't one game, but THREE! So when I complete (or get stuck) in each title I will write about it here.

Incitement 1
This is the start of the grand journey of Maddock and his friends, the day the space station Chimera is attacked by a fellow human named Jorgen, thus beginning the hunt for truth.
It is so refreshing to see a game that does not have the fantasy tileset as its base! But even more so to have a unique battle system. Though in the late game for normal enemies this results in spamming normal attacks. This is due to the fact I'm not sure why but its exceptionally RARE in this game to ever encounter more than 2 enemies in a fight. If you did a lot of your AOE moves would have more of a use. But for the most part normal attacks work fine in this engine.
The thing is I less got stuck in this game, and more had such a stupid mistake that I was like 'yeah time for the next game'. Which is both dissappointing and at the same time nice. Since there's a rather odd difficulty spike in this game, which only really accounts for the bosses and it starts with the AI Mainframe (encountered somewhere between lv 17-20) and the following boss Cadmoralus also posed the same issue where they are given screen nukes that you don't have much in the way of protecting against. The only reason I beat the AI Mainframe was by equipping everyone with plasma shields to drop its screen nuke damage by half. The following boss Cadmoralus because I didn't realize I was heading into a boss fight wiped the floor with me, and I was sent back a SIGNIFICANT amount due to me not saving beforehand since again didn't realize there was going to be a boss fight. Unlike virtually every other boss Cadmoralus doesn't seem to have a healing station nearby him (I don't think).
But still I recommend this title. See you after Incitement 2.

I could not enjoy the game. The story was boring, the game did have a nice setting for a sci-fi game but thats it. Didnt see no custom assets or anything custom except for the name.

These rpg makers are tough in my opinion to make. Due to many indie devs and A Dev making these types of games.

RPG Maker strikes again! This is another low effort retro-pixel JRPG ripoff spamming the Steam catalog, made with the RPG Maker video game construction kit... in their own words, "Our easy to use tools are simple enough for a child."
This isn't even a good RPG Maker game. While some attempt to differentiate the game was made (the developers decided to flip sci-fi RPG Maker assets instead of the usual fantasy ones), that's about the only differentiator from yet another cookie-cutter RPG Maker template asset flip.
Gamers who want a good retro gaming experience would be better off playing the original Final Fantasy games or one of the better RPG Maker games.

I did not really enjoy this game, May be because I dont enjoy playing these 2d kind of games and I skipped trough all the text at the start. It mosly reminds me of my childhood when I used to play pokemon on my nintendo ds. mmmmmmm, I miss those days. Where did they go?

This game is amazing! The skills are awesome, the scifi world is badass, all the haters are dumb for leaving bad reviews. I'll update when I've finished playing, but I'm definetly checking out the first two which are free!

TLDR: Plot is okay but feels a little distant and half baked. World is almost not interactable. Itemization was lacking. Game is on rails and very corridor like.Suffers from pacing issues. Heavy scripting. Difficulty spikes that are hard to predict. Recommend saving often.
Portrait and music are okay. In rpgmaker-engine cutscenes felt well scripted and presented, the intro cutscene with the handrawn art felt compelling.
The combat system was appropriate to the setting with some form of variety between party members. It varies from holding attack button to win to having to manage the ammo based mana system. It did not strike me as very well developped or thought out.
Game is well structured with the intro clearly presenting the three main acts of the story. By the end of act 3 the linearity softens enough to allow you to grind rather than fight pre-scripted foes. There are +stat on levelup items that can affect balance if equipped or ignored.
The game does not prompt you often to save progress and I ended up dying at a boss late game and discontinuing play.
Xbox360 pad worked fine. No Proper Resolutions Support.
Loot variety, freedom, shopkeepers are hard to come by and underdevelopped.
Loredumps that are actually well introduced and interesting were far and few between. I do not think this title is worth keeping around due to the heavy competition within the rpgmaker genre.
Conclusion: I liked the slideshow intro, and most of the heroic sci fi tone of the game, you control sub-sections of your squad, and eventually they meet up in one larger squad of 4 and you go defeat the boss from the intro. Its a simple setup that allows you experience plenty of action in a vaguely sci fi universe. Its not great however and the chances that you do not have anything better to play are slim to none.
Please dont let this be in your library.
It's an another RPG Maker game.
To be honest, it is rather obvious that unlike most other RPG Maker games, in this one the developer tried the best he could for a good story (and game in general), and also the music was nice.
But it is, as i said, an RPG Maker game. Therefore, as usually it's of the crappy kind. You can't escape it if you use that game engine. It just sucks.

Sophorian civilization has been long looking for other sentient races in space in order to integrate them into their own society. However, that has not come without dissensions among the Sophorians, and sometimes very violent conflicts. In the recent past two huge attacks had occurred that threatened the whole civilization. The first one struck the government. The second one struck the Sophorian army. But was there a connection between those attacks, and will history repeat itself over and over until there’s no civilization left?
It has now been a year since a devastating EMP wave left one of the largest cities broken and disconnected. A lot of labour and resources went into restoring the city over the course of the year, but it appears things are not about to settle down yet.
Adrial and his team of allies have been caught in another attack - but who is attacking this time and what are their motives? It is now up to you to assemble your allies, uncover this scheme, expose the enemy, and stop them before their actions magnify into catastrophic proportions.
