About what youd expect for $0.99 game, just a clicker essentially once you collect all the items. Then the annoying last achievement is to spend close to 200 hours running the game in the background with an auto clicker, which is not that interesting. Easy but time consuming, but nevertheless an easy trophy if you have some free time.

It's a pretty good time waster, not gonna lie. It's quite nice to have in the background going while I watch youtube.
It matches the lootbox opening mechanics extremely well, so it's really hitting the I-Must-Gamble-And-Open-More-Loot-Crates vibes that it's going for.

If anything, I wish there were more options for a smaller windowed mode-screen, but that's a personal preference, and not something that detracts from the game.

Everything about this game is lazy, from theme to execution.
I spent 1 dollar and 37 cents on this game, and even with this amount, I feel cheated.

However, I am not going to refund.
Because, see, if a hobo asked me for a dollar and 37 cents, I would gladly share with him. Why wouldn’t I? Especially if I am having a good day.

And are developers so different after all? The main difference between an indie developer and a hobo is one has a college degree. Though I heard some developers get them nowadays too, so I may be mistaken and there is none.

really glitchy, the settings menu has its buttons misaligned with the UI, the score will just stop syncing with the achievement progess (which it uses to store and recall the value), and it takes multiple full days of non-stop grinding to complete said achievement so its kinda important that the value saves properly.

edit: even after reaching 100k, the achievement did not unlock for me automatically.

If you're gonna make one of the achievements ridiculously hard to get, at least make your game accurately track how many boxes have been opened. I leave it on while I'm away from my laptop with an autoclicker and I'll come back to like 48000 boxes opened only to exit and lose about 4000 boxes. If it happened once or twice it'd be annoying but fine? It happens every time. Every. Time.

Also why is there no animation skip in the settings? It was something apparently being worked on years ago, at least that'd make the process slightly less painful.

Behold my time, take it not as a testament, but a warning. Beware the ignorance I once held, and take shelter unto better games.

If this game did not ask for your over a week, your precious time, hogging the resources on your computer to get all the achievements I would recommend it. It’s a stupid simple clicker time waster poking fun at the game industries reliance on gambling to make money. Your progress is purely at the feet of RNG, who expects you to sacrifice your time in the name of ‘collecting.’

But it goes too far. My journey ended at the 10 hour mark simply due to terrible luck. The rest of those 180+ hours? Grinding for the achievement to open 100,000 boxes. This game can’t be left idle, or else a glitch runs the risk of no longer tracking your progress. Having to be checked on every hour, unable to play anything or do anything else due to the mouse needing to click on the ‘open loot box’ button. The Dev missed the point of parody’s the companies that don’t care for our time and committed the same sin, draining hours that can come back, nor were satisfying to waste.

Insanely boring to have to open boxes 100 000 items for the last achievement. You'll have to spend multiple days on it, I had finished the game at least twice over and only had about 10 000 to my name.
Completely monotonous and un-fun.
Got an auto clicker thing, but even that breaks and it doesn't count the boxes half the time for reasons I cannot fathom.

Hallo erstmal!

Diese Rezension wird sich in 9 Kategorien gliedern.
Ich hoffe, dass sie euch bei der Kaufentscheidung hilft.

Grafik:
Die Grafik ist okay. Für so ein billiges Spiel ist sie definitiv hübscher als man erwarten würde.

Performance:
Ich hatte keinerlei Probleme mit dem Game.

Preis:
Ich habe damals 99 Cent, also den Vollpreis, dafür gezahlt und für den Preis hat es sich total gelohnt.

Spielzeit:
Ich habe 193,1h in das Game gesteckt, aber das auch nur, weil die letzte Errungenschaft so verbuggt war. Ich wäre sonst wahrscheinlich weit vor 100h fertig gewesen.

Vergleich zum Vorgänger:
Es gibt keinen Vorgänger. Nur einen Nachfolger, aber der interessiert mich nicht sonderlich.

Errungenschaften:
Insgesamt gibt es 29 Errungenschaften und alle davon habe ich in 193,1h erreicht. Es sind alle Errungenschaften bis auf die mit den 100.000 Lootboxen öffnen leicht zu erreichen. Diese eine Errungenschaft ist leider extrem verbuggt und hat mich ca 170h gekostet. Man kann zwar mit dem Autoclicker einfach auf dem Bereich draufbleiben womit man ein neues Opening starten und das vorige beendet, aber man weiß nie ob er das auch zählt oder nicht. Wenn man das nächste Mal das Game öffnet, kann es sein, dass er von 5000 Öffnungen nur 1200 oder sogar weniger zählt. Das wirft einen dann total zurück. Ich bin draufgekommen, dass es am besten funktioniert, wenn man das Game 20min offen lässt und dann schließt und wieder öffnet. Dann zählt er das meiste, wenn nicht sogar alles. Da die Errungenschaften aber alle zählen, lohnt sich das Spiel auf jeden Fall für Sammler.

Story:
Die gibt es nicht.

Gameplay:
Man muss hier verschiedene Arten von Lootboxen öffnen und daraus zieht man dann Hüte und Skins. Die Variation ist da, aber farblich sind bei allen Arten von Lootboxen keine Unterschiede. Es gibt überall goldene und auch blaue Skins und so weiter. Wir haben zur Auswahl, die alle mit Errungenschaften verbunden sind, Actual Trash, Cardboards, Crates, Presents, Ships, Animoos (so Dragon Ball ähnliche Kugeln) und Treasures. Wenn man eine Lootbox öffnet, hüpfen 4 Skins und/oder Hüte heraus und unterhalb kann man auswählen ob man sie behalten oder verkaufen möchte. Wenn man einen Skin/Hut zum ersten Mal entdeckt, würde ich empfehlen diese zu behalten da man sonst die Errungenschaften nicht bekommt. Bei jedem weiteren Mal gibt es dann nur noch die Verkaufoption. Wenn man anfangs mal kein Geld mehr für eine Lootbox hat, dann kann man ein snakeähnliches Minispiel spielen. Wenn man alle Hüte und Skins gezogen hat, dann kann man prestigen und zurücksetzen, aber das bringt hier nichts.

Fazit:
Ich fand das Spiel bis auf die letzte Errungenschaft echt solide und mal was anderes. Ich kann es also nur empfehlen, wenn man ein Sammler ist oder zumindest mal was anderes zocken will bei dem man ein bisschen mitfiebern kann.

why am i giving it a bad review then?
because even with an autoclicker it takes like 200 hours to get the final achievement
just ignore this one, the joke dies fast and the game cant support itself after it does

Do not play if you have a gambling problem cause this will make it worse. The game is very simple and enjoyable. I first got it since a friend jokingly called it Lootcrate Simulator. Gotta say, it's true and I enjoyed most of my time playing it. When you have just 1 item left it can get irritating to not get it.

That's the best game that i ever play in my life, all the time passing, make me more stronger.
Now i feel that i can do anything, spend 142 hours in the game, make me fell so much better.
The possibility of customization is unimaginable: boxes, trash cans, treasures, ships, spheres...
I feel like now I can close my eyes and sleep peacefully.

Honestly this game is a fun little gimmick, and it was worth the tiny bit of money for the entertainment, but please do not play this. I'm trying to get all the achievements, and it's the worst and most draining experience I've had in a while, almost as if it's trying to send a message or something

I was half-awake at three in the morning. Just got home from work and didn't feel like gaming but I wanted to game.
So I watched Oboeshoes play this for a bit. Before I knew it, I was asleep and dreaming of lootboxes. It was amazing. Brilliant game. The best thing since your mom's homemade donuts.
