TLDR: If you're looking for a short bit of fun with friends or on your own, Hoard is good in short bursts
Needing another decent multi-player game to keep the MJ crew occupied on Monday nights, I pegged this one as a candidate an patiently awaited my turn. While Hoard is an older titles, I hoped it would keep us entertained. It did - for a short amount of time. The game is incredibly simple and doesn't take long to conquer and is mildly fun. While it doesn't stand out amongst the indie gems, it does provide decent entertainment and you can probably find it incredibly cheap by now.
Presentation: The top-down presentation is nice enough to look at with color that pops and distinct enough that even with four players it's easy enough to keep track of who is who and what's trying to kill you. The game is simple with only a few buildings and enemies to worry about - magic towers, castles, knights, cities, thieves, wagons, windmills, crops and the occasional giant and princess. The simplicity keeps it from getting too bogged down buy also keeps it from standing out. Much like the sound effects and music, it is all very vanilla in its approach. Completely average across the board.
Story: As far as I can tell, none. Not in single or multiplayer games. You're a dragon. You burn things, collect loot, upgrade your powers, kill things, try not to get killed yourself - and that's it.
Gameplay: You're a dragon. You fly, burn, collect loot, deposit said loot. Repeat until the level is over. Of course there are some mechanics. As you collect loot you level up between four abilities - Speed (fly faster), Breath (Fire lasts longer and does more damage), Carrying Capacity (Carry more loot) and Armor (Survive more hits). All four are useful, but Speed and Breath seem the best to level early while Armor, though useful later, is almost an afterthought. If you survive long enough without dying, you gain a loot bonus (up to 3x) and dying resets it back to zero. In order to get the best rating on each level, keeping the streak going is very important. With more people, this becomes tougher an our crew, despite our best efforts, was unable to get the best rating on the final 4-player level.
The game does attempt to give some variety. If you don't burn everything in sight, building begin to level up. This produces a variety of effects: Magic Towers become stronger and shoot faster (but give out better loot), Knights become stronger and faster but princesses also appear that you can ransom for more loot, cities produce more gold, but also produce more archers and even thieves to take your loot. Windmills and farms produce bigger wagons and gold. You have to balance out the good with the bad and see if you can gather the most loot without dying along the way. The game also throws out a random powerup that anyone can collect that can increase speed, let you shoot fireballs instead of a breath weapon, grant a temporary shield and heal you.
The game features a variety of missions like Princess Rush (collect princesses for ransom), the difficult Hoard Mode (essentially a survival mode where enemies upgrade quickly and it becomes more of a SHMUP while you dodge everything in sight) and the generic Treasure Mode where you must collect as much as possible in the time limit. Even with a decent variety, the game gets repetitive fast and is only good for short bursts in my opinion.
Replayability: With the amount of modes and players and maps, at least the game had a decent amount of variety.

The only good dragon game on steam
There is no progression and achievements are grindy
This is a legitimately good game. Rounds take 10 minutes apiece, there's a split screen mod to actually get all functionality on one PC, the game mechanics are simple enough to understand and challenging enough to apply when aiming for higher scores. You might not get 100 hours out of it, but what you will get is a fun party game for a good 30-60 minutes when your friends come over, or when you want to enjoy your time.
Plus, it goes on sale a couple of times per year for $3. Worth the price.
Amazing childhood game
I have VERY fond memories of playing the PS3 version of this game as a wee little lad, so when I saw the game on Steam I was like "hell yeah!" and it even has DLC!
There are problems though. Especially some BRUTAL screen tearing since this game has NO Vsync option and more than likely is NOT optimized for newer PCs. And MAN is it bad.
Nostalgia isn't enough to warrant me making my review positive.
This is a game I’ve enjoyed since the PSP days, and it’s still so much fun to play! You’re a little dragon wreaking havoc on slowly building towns, can steal princesses, and beat wizard towers! It can be played for a short round, or sometimes I get too into it and play for quite a bit longer since there are so many maps to choose from too.
This game is 14 years old. It probably was not a bad game for its time but I can only review it it now (in 2025) as it still is sold for money.
The game feels like a flash game you played for a few minutes when you had nothing better to do. Very simple (yet stuttery) graphics and controls and not too much depth. There is still some decision making and planning required and might be fun to play a few times with friends. But basically all games are fun to play with friends and today, there are better thinks you can play. Even at that price point.
There is no better metaphor for internet simps than ten different knights rushing into a wall of fire trying to save one princess.
The screen tearing make this unplayable. It would be easily fixed by the devs but they no longer support this game, which is unfortunate.
HOARD is a decent party game about dragons doing dragon things like collecting gold and capturing princesses. There's procedural rules for how the various kingdoms are constructed and how they react to being attacked by a horde of dragons. Players can cooperate or compete depending on the scenario.
There was a period of time where HOARD was a great console game. It is still fairly cool, and there's DLC with new scenarios once you and your crew have explored the basic set. It's serviceable as a solo game with the other three dragons played by the AI. Definitely bring a controller for the best fire-breathing experience.
Fond memories playing this game on PS3. Unfortunately, this port is disgraceful.

Good game but it is not being maintained, at least on the Mac platform. I get the following message "Notice: This product is not compatible with macOS 10.15 Catalina or above. Click here for more information.". I take it this means it is a 32 bit app only, which Apple has stopped supporting for a number of years now.

A frustrating game of frustrating controls mechanics tutorials that go on for too long...and still don't tell you information you need. and upgrades that seem to make no difference when enemies start more buffed out then you seem to ever be able to get. For real player co op at least that would be less of an issue but Im sure theres more fun co op games with interesting paths you can make mixing up game play then this one.

I remember playing this on the PSP like 15 years ago, I lost my PSP since then but I'm really glad to see its still playable on Steam. Really fun time-killer type of game, especially for the price
TLDR: Be a dragon. Build your HOARD by terrorising the kingdom and burninating the peasants. Ransom princesses, and defeat your rivals in this solo, team, or competitive game.

HOARD is a game that needs time to cook. If you just play it once or twice, it won’t dig its claws in. HOARD as a multiplayer experience is ok, it isn’t anything special but it isn’t bad. HOARD as a single player game is all about self-improvement and challenging yourself to build up bigger and faster.
A sort of semi party game, HOARD sees you sporting the role of the dragon, either surviving until survive you cannot, racing to capture princesses, or racing to build the biggest HOARD in the limited time. Burn down towns, raid wagons, and capture princesses. Kill knights and city defenders, and keep an eye out for the dangerous wizard towers and any rivals you might have. All in the name of gold.

[list][*] Very simple gameplay that can be picked up in just a few runs, but with many nuances and strategies to discover as you grow in skill and attempt to achieve bigger hordes and better survival rates.
[*] The self-challenge of the single player campaign is actually quite addictive. You’ll find yourself running over and over in some of the maps and modes, fighting to beat your previous score or nab just enough loot in the seconds remaining to get that gold medal.
[*] Do you know what? It’s really actually quite nice to be the one doing the terrorising for a change. It’s all good and well, being the hero of the story in your shining armour. But sometimes you just want to burn a city to the ground and sit on the loot you accumulated from that.

This game is for people who like iteration, enjoy party games they can play with friends, or just want something quick they can have done in less than 15 minutes.
This game is not for people looking for a meaningful experience, or who don’t want to put time into learning and improving, or who aren’t interested in something built in short rounds.
Overall I think HOARD is a decent addition to a library. It’s short and sweet, and sometimes you just want to see everything go up in flames.

Plays great on Steam Deck. I've played on Steam Deck, PC, and through Steam Link streaming (the actual little Steam Link box). Originally had this on PSP. I like the additions in this version like the exploding carts. This is just a fun little addicting game. Each game is typically in 10 minute lengths. There are varying strategies and approaches for how to play. It's fun just to play through, but there's a lot of replayability in trying to go for Gold on all the levels.

I remember playing this game way back in 2012 when I had my PSP, and I've always had fond memories of this game. And I can proudly say that this version of the game still retains that same charm and enjoyment that I had a decade ago. I've never bothered with the multiplayer, which is fine because this game has a pretty hefty amount of single-player content. You get 4 modes to play through; "Treasure", "Princess Rush", "HOARD", and "Co-Op". All of these modes have you essentially playing the same exact game, just with different goals and rulesets. Just fly around, burn stuff, carry treasure back to your base, rinse and repeat. It's a simple, yet effective concept that keeps you engaged. Especially since most of the time, you're pitted up against one or more CPU dragons to compete against. Though I will say, it appears this version of the game has some stability issues; nothing gamebreaking, just some noticeable screen-tearing that could be fixed with the addition of a Vsync option. But other than that, this is very much a hidden gem that everybody should give a try.
Stability issues aside (might just be my pc idk) its a good game. the nostalgia hits hard for me, i used to play this so much on psp, and now i get to play it again, and with people!

Но до ужаса жаль, что разработчики на нее подзабили и давно не обновляли, т.к. багов в ней хватает.
Таких, как:
- рассинхроны, когда в сетевой игре ты не видишь перемещения дракона кого-то из игроков (он все время сидит в логове), но при этом у тебя из-под носа могут исчезать сокровища и предметы;
- залипание бота-дракона на спавне бонуса, если у него уже взят бонус "лечение" (когда играешь все против всех - это помогает, а вот когда играешь кооп-режим - это мешает), лечится забиранием бонуса со спавна, но придется тратить свой бонус, если он у тебя есть;
- выкидывание из лобби сетевой игры после примерно 3-4й игры;
- невозможность управлять драконом, если включена русская раскладка (WASD тупо не работают).
Также жаль, что в игру почти никто не играет. Присоединяясь к лобби сетевой игры, ты практически всегда попадешь в лобби к своему другу, даже без прямого приглашения, а поиск случайной игры может занять очень много времени. Очень недооцененная игра, как по мне, даже несмотря на баги.

In most fantasy games Dragons are the villains, sometimes end of level bosses which need to be slain in order to collect a huge reward - yet HOARD instead gives us the chance to play one and the result is highly satisfying!
Anybody who has ever wished to burn crops and villages, incinerate pesky Knights and hold beautiful Princesses to ransom while amassing an immense wealth will find HOARD is for them.
Played on a top-down view perspective, with our Dragon in the centre of the screen we fly around the map via the keyboard and unleash fiery breath with the left mouse button. Pressing the right mouse button will active any temporary boosts we may occasionally pick up along the way.
The game is played to a 10 minute time limit and once expired we are given a score and rating - either Bronze, Silver or Gold - depending on how we have done.
The map is littered with various buildings. Windmills produce fields of crops. Villages slowly evolve into bustling towns and spawn both Archers and Thieves (who will seek out our hoard pile to steal coins), while castles soon produce mounted Knights and Princess carriages. Wagons and carts ferry resources along the roadways. All can be destroyed for gold which has to be placed on our hoard to add to our wealth. Princess carriages leave damsels in distress who must be carried to our base to activate a timer before a ransom is paid for them and during this time swarms of nearby Knights will attempt their rescue.
Collecting gold allows us to upgrade our Dragon with 4 distinct characteristics - Speed, Fire, Carry and Armour - and each can be improved a maximum of 8 times. Obviously stronger Dragons fare better during the game and improving them successfully is one of the key strategies required. Do we aim for speed, prioritise how much gold we can carry at a time or indeed increase our destructive ability to deal greater damage? The choice is ours and often different levels will require distinct tactics to win.
Various modes are available along with a Tutorial. These include Treasure, Princess Rush, Hoard and Co-Op. This adds a nice variety and there are numerous maps to explore for each mode. Some, such as Princes Rush, can have up to 4 Dragons on the same map all competing against each other for the greatest amount of gold by the end but Co-Op, as the name suggests, has several Dragons uniting and aiming for a common cause. Hence much frenzied mayhem and exciting game play! Unlike the other modes, Princess Rush ends whenever a Dragon ransoms a maximum of 15 royal females. Here, as well as dealing with roaming Knights, each Dragon has to protect its captive during the ransom countdown due to rivals attempting to steal their prisoners!
Certain aspects of the game such as bell towers, bumper crop fields and bomb wagons can be toggled on or off at the main screen. I personally prefer to keep them all on for greater variety in the levels. Some maps also include Wizard towers and roaming Giants which, if destroyed, can lead to huge financial rewards.
There is an option to toggle the 4 movement keys and switch the music from the current track to the original theme initially used when the game was young.
HOARD features 129 Achievements to collect. Some are ridiculously easy - such as burning a Princess to death - while others will take possibly years of hard grind to earn. Rising up the HOARD rankings, for instance, is painfully slow and likely to be one of the last Achievements still to win.
Overall I am always happy to play HOARD and still keep coming back to it even after all these years. The game is repetitive but there is enough randomness included to keep it interesting. The graphics, which have improved over the years, are good even if the sprites are still on the small side, while the music is enjoyable and fits the tone perfectly. Sadly the multi-player element is practically non-existent due to the sheer age of the game but the single player experience should provide enough challenge to make it worthwhile. There are also a couple of cheap DLC items available which help enrich the game, too.
HOARD, much like DUNGEON KEEPER, is one of those fantasy-based games with an unusual slant and as such should be applauded!

the good:
Hoard is a really fun party game you can play alone or with a couple of friends. i bought this on PC for nostalgia because i played this game on the PS3 years and years ago. the artstyle is nice, the music is so catchy but also relaxing, i remember it after all this time, and the competitive PVP aspect is fun and addicting against others, the gameplay is unique and ive never seen anything like it before, and the game is just fun!
the nuance of just how everything subtly works is amazing. farms will be randomly started up and they will make wheat plots (which can be destroyed for money), and after a while they will send out a cart full of money (the more wheat plots the more carts with more money inside them get shipped out) and it will go to a near town and it will contribute to their sort of "upgrade bar", it gets passively filled but money carts make it go WAY up, once it fills up a new building will be built (which can be destroyed for money), but the more upgraded a town is the more archers will be hired and even wizard towers built making it harder to destroy it to get money. theres also castles which send out princesses to towns to instantly upgrade them, they also hire knights to protect the princesses. the castle will slowly upgrade which will send out more expensive princesses. everything has a sort of synergy with everything else, and none of this is verbally explained, but, rather, subtly told through UI.
and then theres you. the dragon. you can disrupt or destroy every single bit of the process. steal the money from the carts, burn down farms stopping production, burn down towns and loot the remains, kidnap princesses and scorch the knights that dare try to rescue her, burn a town so badly they pay you tribute money every so often (only works in VS modes), burn down the wizard's tower and steal their magic diamond. watch as the world reacts in unique ways to you and your presence.
so i just sold you on an aspect of the game the GAME ITSELF doesnt advertise..? well... time to ruin it...
the bad:
the game is simple. i know i just explained how complex the world is, but, you arent the world. you can only burn down things and deposit gold, thats it. your interactions with the world are limited. the game is also super freaking easy. theres 4 enemy times and within the 0.3 hours i have i know how to easily kill them all.
archers: shoot at you in a straight line just fly away then burn them again
wizard tower: shoots big laser ball at you but has long recharch, just the archer but stronger, so use the same tactic for the archer
knight: tries rushing your treasury for princess you captured, just stand out of the way of your treasury but in range of them and snipe them
giant: it shows up late game and destroys towns and farms and stuff and steals all of the gold, kill it for all the gold. it just moves in a straight line to its target so just stand out of the way and shoot it
the ai is too garbage. there could be more complex and in depth AI, it could even take on a sort of party game/arcadey/bullet hell style of which i have never seen before, but, it isnt. i could only describe this as
the game is too small: once you've played it once you've basically seen it all. just add your friends into the mix instead of AI. its simple, which is good, but it isnt in depth. a good example of an in depth party game would be overcooked. its simple, really simple. but each new level has a new wacky gimmick and new recipes for you to make with your friends. the difficulty does in fact increase with each new level and it makes it fun and it varies. this game is the exact opposite of that. there maybe be 35 maps but there might as well be 100 or 1000 maps because they're basically ALL THE SAME anyway. this game has SO MUCH POTENTIAL, its just sad see it all go to waste on a game thats this small.
the enemy AI is also garbage. if you're playing alone there will be an enemy AI on the enemy team (if you're playing vs) and it sucks its garbage it doesnt know how to do anything for itself. it just targets things randomly and doesnt even fight AI like archers or wizard towers or anything. it just goes to towns burns down 1 building and calls it a day. its really bad. it makes it so the only way to have REAL fun is playing with friends, which leads to the next issue:
and the thing that breaks everything, the PC port sucks, like, its garbage: i dunno how they screwed it up, but, everything sucks. no couch co-op. only multiplayer. no one plays online multiplayer anymore so you have to convince your friends to buy the game or BUY IT FOR THEM to play the game. it gets worse though. for some reason I DONT KNOW HOW but aiming where your fire breath goes is a NIGHTMARE. it sucks SO BADLY. its clunky and unresponsive. half of the time it doesnt aim half of the time it aims and half of the time it starts to aim then stops half way. i know i said 3 halfs, and, that doesnt make any sense, but, THESE CONTROLS MAKE NO SENSE. it might be better if you connect a controller to your pc but that means you have to BUY THE GAME FOR YOUR FRIENDS AND THEY ALL HAVE TO PLAY WITH CONTROLLERS IF THEY HAVE THEM.
theres also an issue with general alerts not working properly, and some of the PC controls are a bit iffy (like right click for power up/backing out of a menu, its a bit awkward) but, get this, THEY SEEMINGLY LEFT DEVELOPER COMMANDS IN THE GAME FOR NO REASON. press q to reload the map. G to give yourself 10K GOLD. f increases fire breath capacity. T STARTS THE TUTORIAL FOR SOME REASON. Y sets the game to 5 seconds left. F2 removes all player and AI models (only the archers and dragons for some reason though) but the shadows of the models stay and a GIANT LINE GOES ACROSS THE SCREEN. ALT-F4 CLOSES THE GAME wait a minute (it actually doesnt i actually tried I DUNNO HOW BUT ALT F4 DOESNT CLOSE THE GAME) and that seems to be it. I DONT KNOW HOW YOU SCREW UP SO BADLY THAT THE RELEASE OF THE GAME COMES WITH THE DEV TOOLS BUILT INTO THE GAME, AND NOT EVEN SOME FANCY CHEAT CODE JUST A BUTTON. im just hoping these dont work in multiplayer but they probably do.
the concept for the game is there dont get me wrong but in the end i have to take off my nostalgia goggles and say, yea, this sucks. if someone were to remake a game like this but make it WAY better and added more i'd play the heck out of the game. if this game was any bigger they could've gone for a bullet hell style game of which i would find very very very entertaining and fun and would play this game SO MUCH.

I got this game expecting it to support local couch co-op like the PS3 version I played originally. Strangely, this version of the game only supports online multiplayer. I'm baffled by the decision to remove local multiplayer.
It's a cute little dragon game but there are problems. The damage is basically instant kills of yourself a lot which then takes forever to fly back to roost. That's the main problem. Then the time limit is kinda annoying. Multiplayer coop might be fun but hardly anyone has it. It takes away some functionality when you play by yourself which stinks.

Its a cute time killer. i enjoy it through out the years. you play as a dragon, flying around collecting gold as you burn towns, wagons and knights. the games are short and fun. its worth the time to play. 10/10 for a good arcade game.
no multiplayer i guess? bad screen tearing and controller randomly stops working for no reason during game but if i press esc on keyboard and use d-pad to scroll menu the controller works just not in game. idk why
Why Virustotal shows game exe has Virus? (Malware, Trojan - by two different vendors). When almost all other Steam games have zero, seeing such in this game is a red flag.
Game is fun, but I am unsure of playing this anymore (I had played in my previous computer, it is sad news I won't be playing this anymore in new hardware)
Super fun arcade game featuring massive, fire-breathing, princess-kidnapping, gold-hoarding dragons! My friends and I had an absolute blast playing together, but you can also play co-op with CPUs if you want, which I appreciate.

Very good game. Though i played it when i was nine years old 12 years ago, it might still hold up. Certainly has very unique gameplay.

I have really fond memories of playing this with my mother and sister and was excited to see one of my childhood games on steam.
It plays just how I remember and was just as fun as the first time. Though I won't lie, it is more fun with friends or family to play with.
The controls and premise are simple and thus makes it a great game to just relax after a hard day for a minute or two. 8/10 :)

perfect multi-player: fun even if you aren't as good as everybody else.
Ok for a little bit but not much to it. The AI is too easy to beat so there isn't much challenge.
Simple, effective, and fun. Best played with friends and imo a controller.
I wish being a dragon was more fun, unfortunately in this game, it's not.

Absolutely awful, dated controls. Almost impossible to play with keyboard and cant remap the gamepad - why doesnt fire breathing just breath instead of reorienting the dragon? It's a good job it was cheap. But really the controls are abysmal. Would have been ok 15 years ago perhaps.
Simple but super sweet game. Fly around as a dragon and lay waste to just about everything you see. Gathering treasures, burning your enemies, destroying their buildings, collecting eggs, and ransoming princesses.
You get to feel like your the boss monster ruling the world rather than the party of heroes meant to stop him. It's a fun and interesting twist.
I would be lost without this game
Fast, fun, simple but engaging: fly around a tabletop landscape being a flipping dragon! Strong party game vibes with great multiplayer and just enough strategy to reward your focus and attention. I love it. Sometimes the AI is a bit stupid but that's really all I can say against this title.
You fly around as a dragon and steal stuff or destroy stuff in a top-down fashion. Pretty darn fun.
addicting to get the achievements simple but need to be super focused on your gold hoard and surroundings. I havent played it with friends but very competitive still like you can choose your dragon colors and the different upgrades affects your dragons looks :3 wizard towers are tough espically the upgraded ones
Mám slabost pro zábavné malé hříčky. [i]Hoard[/i] má krásnou stylizaci, kdy vypadá jako oživlá deskovka. V roli draka soupeříte s ostatními létajícími ještěry a snažíte se nahrabat si co největší hromadu pokladů, ať už drancováním měst, přepadáváním povozů, unášením princezen (s výměnou za výkupné) nebo kradením drahokamů ze spálených věží mocných mágů. Pravidla jsou jednoduchá, herní plocha není velká, a přesto je ve hře překvapivě mnoho prostoru pro strategii i pro hbité prsty. Zvlášť pokud budete chtít získat na všech mapách ocenění zlatou medailí. Map je ve hře dostatek a je tu i více herních režimů pro zpestření.
Největší slabinou hry je, že nepodporuje lokální hru více hráčů. Po síti ano, lokálně ne (i když ve verzi na PS3 to prý bylo). Hru více hráčů jsem tedy nevyzkoušel, ale jsem si jistý, že by to celou záležitost ještě o řád povýšilo. Hrát proti vychytralému protivníkovi, který by vám kradl zlato a princezny z vaší vlastní hromady, cíleně pálil nebo zastrašoval města u vašeho doupěte, a moc dobře věděl, kdy vám vpadnout do zad a trochu vás přismahnout, to by bylo špičkové. Protože umělá inteligence protivníků není nikterak skvělá, a jakmile se naučíte vzorce jejich chování, začnete jich bez skrupulí zneužívat. Plánuji tedy někdy zkusit hru i s kamarády (případně dětmi, až povyrostou), jenom je bohužel zapotřebí více počítačů. Hra obsahuje i kooperační mapy, pokud byste chtěli spolupracovat místo soutěžení.

fun little time sink, worth what I paid for it. Shared it with some friends.

Another one of those that could have been a flashgame, but this one is actually fun. I stopped playing it because you really need a friend to play with and life stuff got in the way. But yeah! Give it a go!
Great fun little game. With a few tweaks to the code you can make the games even longer. It's pretty epic!
It is a fun and simple game. Nice if you just want to have a short game to fill some time. :-)
É um jogo muito mais divertido do que parece, infelizmente na data que faço essa análise o multiplayer dele está completamente morto, uma pena, pois é um jogo bastante competitivo com modos de jogo rápidos e envolventes, você mal vê o tempo passar, com uma gameplay simples, com uma boa variedade de atividades dentro das partidas e com uma certa profundidade.
Aparenta ser um jogo extremamente divertido quando jogado com amigos como um couch game, mas não posso dar certeza por não ter passado por tal experiência. Sem duvida um jogo que prometia muito, mas hoje em 2021 está morto e só serve para se divertir com amigos por algumas boas horas.
NOTA: 9/10 Além de cumprir com o que promete, o faz muito bem e superou, muito, minhas expectativas, não dou nota máxima apenas pela falta de um multiplayer mais ativo, pois acredito que em seu auge deva ter sido muito legal.
RECOMENTO APENAS PARA QUEM FOR COMPRAR PARA JOGAR COM AMIGOS
Its nice for a quick chill game session
Hoard is a nice little getaway game. Play for a bit,. get some challenges done and enjoy your time playing it. It's not complicated, easy on the eyes, does not crash, and is well supported. Soon to be a Canadian Classic.
STILL COOL GAME AFTER ALL THESE YEARS :-)
The native Linux version always crashes a few minutes into each game. It runs better on Steam-on-WIne32, on Ubuntu Studio 20.04, but the controller support and netcode seem flaky. We got 2 pcs (same specs) into a game side-by-side and one had a different MAP than the other and they stopped registering each other's movements - a total loss of sync.
I keep coming back to this game! The gameplay mechanic is time tested as I realized this game has been fun for 10 years now!
