This game is fabulously optimized, on my older computer it runs at a decently stable 82 frames on max graphics. (With no overclocking) Plus the games missions or well most of them have so many routes to take them, personally i find this game great. One thing that i should mention is that there is the ocasional frame stutter on the patient zero side storyline, on the Hokkadio mission. But other then that an amazing game.

Reviewing (mostly) every game (or DLC) in my library, part 614:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (10/10)

Well, I "only" have about 67 hours in [i]HITMAN World of Assassination[/i] ("WOA"), but I think I have enough experience to write a review for the game after completing all three campagins. And ... what else can I say besides that WOA is quite possibly the greatest stealth series ever created. It's somehow dethroned Arkane Studios for me because virtually everything about this trilogy is [i]perfect.[/i]. The amount of content is just incredible. Every godd*mn level has layers upon layers, scaffolding built upon itself. I spent at LEAST an hour and a half on each level, and I only exited because I wanted to see the other missions! The stealth is a perfect mixture of fun and puzzling; the graphics breathtakingly beautiful; there's an interesting narrative; performance is somehow terrific on Deck ... but I have to circle back around to the level design. There is just so much care and creativy packed into each level. Sure, there may be some AI quirks, and the always online component is both confusing and annoying af, but there is nothing like the [i]Hitman[/i] series.

[b][h2]Pros:[/h2][/b]
✅[b] Level design/replayability.[/b] The biggest pro, imo. Every location in WOA is a masterpiece. I know that's applied to everything, but seriously. Seriously! There is a level for everyone, ranging from a relaxing beach resort in Asia to a sterile hospita in Japan. Each level feels alive and meticulously crafted. There are multiple routes, hidden opportunities, and environmental storytelling at every turn. NPCs have conversations about their lives or discussing the news. You can approach objectives in countless ways, and the game constantly encourages experimentation. You can go silent assassin or go in guns-blazingor—or a mixture of both. The verticality is insane, too. Some levels have five, six, even sevel levels to explore! The game practically begs you to replay levels, too. There are countless mastery challenges, or Mission Stories that guide you to find creative ways to complete the level. I've barely scratched the surface of each map in my ~65 hours.

✅[b] Stealth mechanics[/b]. The stealth mechanics is actually quite simple. Every mission is a sandbox, letting you manipulate the environment, NPCs, and your own approach. You can move quietly or create distractions with thrown objects, knock out guards non-lethally, or take more lethal approaches with weapons, all while using environmental hazards to your advantage. Hiding bodies, blending into crowds, and “hiding in plain sight” are required to be stealthy. The disguise system is a standout! Adopting a guard or staff uniform grants access to restricted areas, allowing you to by pass combat. Items and tools—from coins and screwdrivers to guns and fiber wires—can be used in multiple ways. Even small actions, like setting off a distraction or moving an object open entirely new routes to completing your mission.

✅[b] Story and tone[/b]. I'm surrpised by how much I loved [i]Hitman 3's[/i] story, specifically. The game goes beyond mere contracts and assassination setups, giving a real emotional arc to 47’s journey. Reading between the lines, there's a terrific story about [spoiler] a machine learning how to be human and a man ridding himself of his past to become free for the first time.[/spoiler] I loved the relationship between Diana and 47, too 👀 I ship it, man!

✅[b] Graphics, performance, lighting, and audio[/b]. The game is just beautiful, in every single manner and matter. I'm getting a steady 45 FPS on high settings. Each level is meticulously crafted, with sprawling, highly detailed environments that feel alive—bustling city streets, luxury hotels, and shadowy warehouses all look and feel distinct. Textures are sharp and realistic, whether it’s the subtle wrinkles on NPC clothing or the reflective surfaces in a high-rise lobby. Lighting is particularly impressive: dynamic shadows, natural sunlight, and artificial indoor lighting. I love how the ambient sounds—chatter, distant traffic, machinery—create a believable world, while music and cues subtly guide tension during critical moments. NPC voices, footsteps, and environmental effects are all crisp and distinct, too.

[b][h2]Mixed:[/h2][/b]
🟨[b] Live service elements[/b]. First, I'm 100% glad the devs are still updating the game. I just don't looooooove the focus they're taking. To me, [i]Hitman[/i] is all about slow, methodical gameplay with plenty of trial-and-error. So I'm not a fan of the roguelike modes (Escalations and Freelancer), though I appreciate that they're there for those who do. I also don't love Elusive Targets being ... well, elusive. It's cool to see some celebrities, but making them one try only with no saves goes against the whole [i]Hitman[/i] philosophy. There's some BIG FOMO, which I don't love. These modes honestly [i]stress me tf out,[/i]

🟨[b] Steep learning curve[/b]. There's quite a lot of [i]stuff[/i] to do. New players can be overwhelmed by the number of mechanics, mission systems, and potential approaches. WOA demands patience and observation, and you're expected to save and load a lot. I mean, I somehow ended up playing the Side Missions in between campaigns.

[b][h2]Cons:[/h2][/b]
🟥[b] Occasional AI quirks[/b]. For the most part, the AI is quite impressive. Mission targets have their own storyline, dialogue, outfits, and routines. But the AI has to be simplifed for players. Turning on a sink will automatically send an NPC to investigate. Flipping a coin will do the same. Oh, what happened to the guard I was talking to? He's replaced by a bald, tall, white dude? Who cares! On a similar note, I was annoyed with how quickly the Treprassing bar fills. It's difficult to tell what outfit will allow you to go where, so sometimes I was caught before I could even get the chance to run away.

🟥[b] Forced to always be online.[/b] Quite a bummer; I like using my Deck offline. Sometimes, I got the prompt that I had to reconnect, even though my Wi-Fi was fine. I didn't mind that much, but it can be a killer in the games modes where you only have one try.

🟥[b] 47 runs so slow.[/b] I swear, a third of my time was spent running back and forth to explore. I loved doing this, don't get me wrong, but 47 can only jog across these big a*s maps. Super annoying.

As someone that grew up on the classic Hitman games, this new trilogy is pretty amazing.

The options and freedom you have to accomplish missions is pretty staggering. and the challenges/achievements you can work on are plenty.

There are some quirks to the stealth/detection systems. Sometime you can take out a guard silently next to his buddy, and not be noticed at all. But, you might duplicate the same move on another set of guards, and 1 sees you somehow, and sets the whole map on fire with alerts about it.

Freelancer mode... is...well straight ass... It could be good, but it doesn't do a good job of giving you decent targets (im not talking easy targets). You might get 1 random NPC that's entirely surrounded by 15 others. Your gear progression is slow. and the penalty for losing a mission is absolutely unfair. It takes so much money to buy 1 decent piece of gear, and you can lose that gear immediately on failure. It would be better if you persistantly unlocked gear. You have a gear-cap anyway. SO why are you afraid of letting us acquire things other than the base crap gear off guards in the Freelance missions? Create a sandbox for your players to enjoy. Not a dull loop of braindead npc killing sprees. because we can't silently take out the NPC you placed inside of a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rock concert of people...........

Ignoring Freelance mode, the game is a solide 7.5/10.

Jetzt gibt es Cross-Progression Saves! Heißt ihr bekommt endlich den Content und Progress all eurere Saves? LOL woran glaubt ihr denn? Ihr könnt jetzt nur ein Savegame als Primär markieren und vielleicht bekommt ihr dann alles was jetzt neu kommt. Außer zum Beispiel ihr deaktiviert das Feature irgendwann mal.

Ich weiß nicht wie man so hart rein scheißen kann was das Savegame management angeht. Eine wahre Meisterleistung! Würde mich wundern wenn sie es mit 007 besser machen, natürlich kann man hoffen.

Dazu die elusive targets. Zeit limitierte Missionen mit nur einem Versuch (außer ihr kennt Alt+F4). Immerhin kommen sie irgendwann wieder ... also in einer neue "Version". Mila Jovovich war vom 25 Februar bis einschließlich 24 März verfügbar. Wie haben gerade den 24 März 17:20 ... tja war eben der 24 März nach irgendeiner anderen Zeitzone. Aber eigentlich ist es auch egal, die global Leaderboards sind ohnehin von Cheatern beherrscht. Gegen Freunde funktioniert das schon besser.

Natürlich nicht vergessen auch immer mal wieder noch etwas auf Twitch zu pushen.

Wer allen FOMO content ignoriert und das Spiel nur auf einer einzelnen Plattform hat, hat kein schlechtes Spiel vor sich. Das auch bis heute keine richtige Konkurrenz hat. Nur die ganzen anderen Umstände nerven so richtig.

傻逼发行策略，脑子安装在屁股上想出来的，你现实中的策略能像做游戏一样好就完美了。

但话又说回来，又是一个没有平替的游戏，1带优秀，2代超神，3代大片，整合在一块体量无敌大，够你玩上百小时随随便便，1我玩了14小时，2我玩了70个小时，3玩了82个小时，可见游戏体量很恐怖👌。

对于到现在都还没玩这游戏的人现在入坑是一个非常好的选择，无脑最好的版本没啥问题，游戏质量绝对值得这个价，坑我们这些老玩家也就骂骂，游戏质量真让我没话说

每个关卡官方给你的各种暗杀路线就已经够丰富的了，但隐藏的暗杀方法多的数不过来，3代比较明显，很多细节都藏着腋着，等待你自己去发掘，不追求挑战的话，官方每张图大概都有3条或以上的机遇，跟随机遇打就行，机遇就相当于跟剧情的指引玩，没有什么难度，而且趣味也高，机遇的大部分都是一些特别的暗杀法子，一般光看这些官方预设的机遇就够爽的了，然后出来一看一张图的挑战非常多，看成就名你就会惊讶发现一个成就名字好像给了你启发，原来还能这样

游戏中彩蛋也是丰富至极，严肃中全是官方的一些幽默小设计，找彩蛋也是一大乐趣之一。

游戏到现在还在更新，还是比较良心的，期待007，别搞砸了

God, I could say endless good things about this game. From the vast open-world-ness to the amazing combat system, this game has it all.

The story (if you know how to follow it) follows an amazing path and 47's arc throughout the whole story is so peak.

I love this game so so much, and there are ENDLESS hours you could dump into it. Whether you are a speedrunner like me, or you just like a thrilling 3rd person shooting experience where you get to kill famous people. Either way we all love this game. Good ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ job IOI.

IOI did an amazing work on this game, I don't know where to start , the graphics is phenomenal especially in the China mission, the storyline and the plot twist just amazes me as a gamer, I thought many times before buying it, but now I DON'T REGRET IT ONE BIT, also the mechanics are great.
