让我最喜欢的是音乐和配音，玛丽娜的配音太太太太太好听了，又可爱又有活力，轻快而明亮还带点小口音，听得我一直姨母笑；苔丝也超级可爱！
虽然情感的转折不是很自然有点生硬有点牵强，吵架那段写的更是很烂，内心戏非常别扭，但它是百合实在太甜了；

美术跟音声都很有特色，挺喜欢的，虽然是英文配音但是其实听习惯之后也是完全能接受，流程的话目前只推了本体感受下来中等但也远不到长篇的程度，剧情的话多线同时进行相互交织有起有伏节奏控制的也很到位，前面埋下的伏笔也有在后续回收。总而言之如果你喜欢百合的话本体+dlc折后30不到的价格还是非常值得入手的

A very good yuri romance novel. Sweet and fluffy for the most part, except for a little bit at the very end. The dynamic between the two leads is familiar, but well done. Marina is a ditzy, perky girl, and Amber is a grumpy straightwoman to her antics. There's also 3 other side characters who I like a little less. Mariah is an alcoholic fellow treasure hunter, who I think is a little too abusive to her friend Joe, and little sister Tess. Other than those 5, there are no real other characters of note, only the occasional side character who only exists to move the plot along. I'm not always a fan of adult content in my games, but I think it was nicely handled in this. There are only two sex scenes, and they definitely felt earned. And the scenes are nicely awkward as well. These two girls aren't porn stars, they''re still trying to learn what they like and dislike. I'll also give credit, there's one point in the sex scenes where I said "Oh, that's awful" out loud, and then one of the characters burst out laughing at the line. The one this I would put as a caveat to some people, is that, towards the end of the game, Amber can't come to terms with her own feelings, and snaps at Marina, in a way I found to actually be kind of cruel. This is eventually patched up, and dealt with, but if you've been in an abusive relationship, maybe you'd find it kind of triggering?

这剧情简直不是人，不过苔丝和乔是最人类的。傻乎乎的玛丽娜就算了，确实是个啥子角色，可爱就行了。玛丽亚也算了，确实不是正常人类，而且骂的好，原谅你了。这安铂是人吗？靠近是你主动的，亲是你主动的，心欲也是你自己要发泄的，第二天尼玛的就开始压力玛丽娜？玛丽亚骂的太对了，沙比一个。
少见的西式百合VN。全流程大概10h，无分支选项，单结局，外加DLC额外剧情3h，DLC有分视角叙述。以淘金热为主题的美国公路片。经典的“没头脑”+“不高兴”组合，剧情上也有点典，个别地方可能会令人有点高血压www。不过毕竟也是十年前的游戏了。
英配很新鲜，特别是在视觉小说中。有点梦回当时玩1999的感觉。官网有免费R18补丁记得去下载（需要科学上网）。DLC多了许多原作没有的独白和心理描写，对补充人物形象起一定作用，所以还是建议和游戏本体一起购买。

It’s a low recommendation. I agree with some reviews about the relationship feeling one sided. It’s not fair to one side and the “just forgive and forget” after the tirade launched on one party is not realistic or fair. One character is good. The lead, not.
At its best, the writing is mediocre. At its worst, it's downright cringeworthy. There's about 1 genuinely mature character in this VN and it's a side character that has pretty minimal presence in the story outside of being a gag.
Pretty much all of the romantic plot here is based on two very immature women jumping into a relationship without being mature enough or ready to do so. Several moments in the story have a really weird timing to them, and both MCs spend a decent portion of the story taking turns being immature jerks to each other. And to top it off, you could very much replace one of the two MCs with a dude and the story wouldn't be that much different.
The DLC isn't exactly better. It's just more of the same, although one of the MCs has matured, so only one of the MCs spends the whole DLC being an emotionally detached jerk, only for the MCs to make up in the end to get a happy ending.

I really enjoyed this game. It's cute, and the story is surprisingly believable and engaging. The characters are genuinely lovable, and the voice acting is strong. There's still a lot of reading, since the protagonist's internal thoughts aren't voiced, but that didn't bother me.
Animations are minimal - mostly 2D sprites moving around. And the 18+ content is present but not overwhelming. There are no branching paths or choices. You simply read and listen to the story, which was actually a nice change of pace for me.
Overall, a charming and relaxing visual novel that focuses on storytelling rather than player choice.
Ain't finished. Good game. I usually don't play games like this or leave reviews in fact. But for a story game. Good game.
一部百合游戏的经典，现在很多的游戏打着百合的旗号，实际上只是（说重一些就是媚宅向）男性向后宫，不是在认真讲诉游戏人物的故事，单纯给玩家开后宫而已。这部经典就是给无奈看多了虚假百合的玩家的洗眼神作。
优点：这部经典，与其说是在讲述恋爱的同时，还将亲情、责任与自我认同等议题融入其中，不如说恰好相反，与marina的恋爱是amber不断面对“我到底为了谁”、“我能承担什么”以及“我真正想要的是什么”等等对自己的提问的果。
就像游戏后面在他们的冲突中，amber想明白了，marina不是她心中爷爷的替代品，她们是对等的，但她却一直在把marina当成孩子，爱是自私的，像是现实中中国式i父母对孩子的爱，深沉（沉重）不对等，看似是对外无私付出的爱反倒最难以让人接收，某银发没头脑加不高兴说的很清楚了，互相利用，互相依赖，这才能成为家人。包括我自己，从游戏的一开始给marina和amber打上的标签--没头脑和不高兴，直到冲突的高潮才幡然悔悟，我不知不觉也把marina当成了一直被保护如孩子般的下位。
最后英配顶级，背景音贴合游戏，三人组的设定也很巧妙，顶中顶的作品
毒点？：看评论很多人觉得赌黄金那里很莫名其妙，嘛嘛，其实如果我们从玩家的角度来看，感到莫名其妙没问题，但还是太现实了点，我过到那里的时候，本以为剧情的发展是主角把黄金全输掉了，然后揭秘marina的礼物到底是什么，最后二人虽然没了黄金但一起面对生活，幸福的过小日子。（虽然我还是不知道marina到底要给ab什么礼物）
我一直觉得黄金应该是偏向意象的东西，就像这场寻宝，所有人就通过这么和莫名其妙的日记开始了寻宝热一样，寻宝日记是引子，找到的黄金是情感，最后黄金给一直寻宝的三人组，一切就像梦一样，只有双方的情感留了下来，人就是最好的宝藏。
不过还是我像多了，虽然我觉得这种偏意识流，电波一点的结局也很好，但最终剧情还不是这么发展的。

The 19 year old is like super woman. Good at everything, and a human gps, the other is secluded and naive, and always cheerful.
The story is heartwarming and emotional, and very well written. It's a little long for my tastes buts its enjoyable through and through.

Super cute and lowkey pretty good plot
For an earnest and queer title, it's nice that it allows itself to be perhaps a little bit exaggerated, hokey, and frankly problematic in the same way that straight galge have gotten away with for ages instead of forcing itself to be perfectly ideal and soft. Something of a "popcorn read", but there ain't nothing wrong with that.
This game has made me miss my girlfriend so much... and for many different reasons..

The character are well written and got a lot of laughs from me.
Biggest complaint is the lack of choices, it really just a really good romance novel.

Highway Blossoms is really good. I've read most of Studio Elans VNs and this one is my favorite. Make sure to get the additional story DLC with it, it really improves the base story.
I don't usually write reviews. But I feel like I need to for this game in case this is a dealbreaker for anyone else. I will try to keep this short. As a lesbian who is very passionate about girls love, I was really excited to play this VN. And, for most of the game, I was enjoying my time. I was actually enjoying it quite a bit. Which is why I feel the need to warn about the breaking point. When you get very close to the end of the game, Amber can't handle her own feelings and lashes out at Marina. And it's brutal. Horribly so. Marina did literally nothing wrong. And she kept trying to cheer Amber up and support her. But after every single line of Marina trying to help, Amber literally screams insults at her. It feels so abusive. It lasts too long. It feels horrible to sit through. And Amber, instead of actually trying to make things right, just sends Marina away. And you get a huge stretch of time with this unresolved before they make up and have sex. But by the time they made up I was so angry and clocked out that I didn't care anymore. If this doesn't sound like a dealbreaker, then you might still enjoy the game. But for me, it destroyed any positive feelings I had about the game. It sucks because I really wanted another girls love story to be attached to.
Adoro esta visual novel por lo loca que es. Dos chavalas se juntan y se van a buscar un tesoro siguiendo las pistas de un relato que tiene una de ellas. Me reí un montón con las historia, y sobre todo, lo que también disfruté, es estar todo el juego diciendo a las protas "¡Besaos yaaaa!"
По-моему мнению это отличная игра, несмотря на то что это кинетическая новелла она хороша, отношения развиваются интересно и не выглядят дебильно, на удивление она может даже устроить небольшие эмоциональные качели, но может мне так понравилось в т.ч потому-что в жизни были некоторые схожие момент.
В целом я влюбилась в эту новеллу и мне грустно с того что она закончилась (длс тоже понравилось), хотела бы я увидеть продолжение рано или поздно :3

I have played this game more than probably most people here, and i gotta say that it has to be one of the worst experiences i've ever had in my entire life...
I don't have problems with relaxed and silly characters, but Marina its way too much.
I get to the part where you find the people who stole her car, with her belongings on it btw and she is like "nah its fine", like WHAT? really they stole a car and sold it, they even sold her freaking phone and she is okay with that just because they show her a freaking gold nugget?
One thing is being relaxed and a little silly, Marina is just mentally r-tarded at this point to the point is infuriating, really. How can I take the story seriously when something as serious as that is just like "meh is okay", like bro, it's not.
The least they could've done is like "okay, fck it at least give us the money you got from, you know the sh*t you stole?" but nah bruh... Can't take this story seriously just because of this poorly written character man.

Okay, im the Vegas part.... I think i've never hated more a character before, Marina has to be the most stupid fcking r-tarded character i've ever had the disgusting unpleasure to read. And the fact that her mistakes are overlooked like they mean nothing it really pisses me the fck off. This has to be one of the worst stories i've played.

Normalmente las novelas visuales lineales en las que sólo hay una ruta y ni siquiera hay opciones de conversación se me hacen insoportables, pero con esta me lo he pasado bastante bien. La historia es una aventura entretenida con gancho, humor, sus dosis de drama y personajes interesantes, y además es bastante larga, sin contar el contenido extra y el DLC. En cuanto al DLC sigue la historia detrás de la principal, dando opción en ocasiones a elegir el punto de vista de una de las dos protagonistas y profundizando también en los personajes secundarios, también merece la pena.
Resumiendo, me ha gustado mucho más de lo que esperaba, recomendado.
Picked this up after Heart of the Woods and I'm struggling to decide which one I like more. Once again the characters are great, the story is entertaining, and it just makes me feel. Highly recommended to any romance lovers out there. The DLC is also very much worth picking up. Fleshes out characters that didn't get that much time in the spotlight in the base game and covers some strains in relationships I don't see often.
This game opened my eyes and made me realize that I've always been a yuri fan, I can now scream yuri in earnest and achieve true, fulfilling happiness in yuri with no shame

做完成就居然都快十小时了，减去做成就和中途挂机的时间 本体加上dlc全语音差不多八小时上下能通关。第一次玩这个游戏还是在三年前(虽然只玩了一半)，正好出重制版了就补个票顺带鉴赏一下dlc。其实当年就很想吐槽这个一眼贫穷得不行的UI和画风，但毕竟是九年前的洋百老古董...各方面都很贫穷但后续新增的CG和dlc又弥补了这一点
我不是很明白这个游戏为什么好评如潮，不管是按我的个人喜好还是客观评价我都只能给差评，简陋UI、听得我头疼的BGM、偶尔跳出来崩我一脸的旧版CG(人体真是太简单啦.jpg)、dlc结局两位女主看镜头的意味不明的新CG、有八成都是白开水的剧情、容易令人高血压的角色塑造、诡异又让人膈应的成就，中途不止一次产生了卸载的想法...全篇最大的问题还是在于两位女主的塑造描写和各种冲突剧情，以下含剧透
[spoiler] 开头的剧情对于玛丽娜这个角色我只觉得很吵很天真，说难听点就是说话不怎么带脑子看起来也没什么情商的样子(当然随着剧情推进我对她也有很大改观，简直就是天使来的..很适合当幼教)，但凡为她停车还愿意跟她找宝藏的人不是安铂我都不敢想，妹子你知不知道你各种行为都很危险...最想吐槽的有两处剧情，一处是在得知玛利亚一行人拆了自己的车还私吞了车上的钱卖了自己的手机后居然轻飘飘的原谅了且没打算要任何补偿，妹子!!这是你哥的车啊!!!手机也很贵啊还有各种隐私!!!!多少让她们赔你点吧??玛利亚的反应也是让我高血压，但对比起安铂以及后期剧情描写又让我原谅了此火爆辣椒女；另一处是想给安铂买手机作为惊喜，在发现钱不够的情况下居然选择和玛利亚赌博，赌注甚至是黄金...妹子......你下注有点过分了吧而且对面可是玛利亚啊??就算赢了玛利亚也给不了几个钱，但输了你要给玛利亚的可是你和安铂辛苦挖来的黄金啊???看到这段剧情我已经说不出话了只觉得我的太阳穴好痛...有安铂给你赢回来你就偷着乐吧天真的妹子!!!

安铂这个角色...算是我玩过的所有百合gal里最不喜欢的主角了吧，总爱怀念过去然后独自伤感，说话有点没情商还爱打击人，面对问题只会逃避，偶尔还会莫名其妙生气然后冲着身边人发泄，全篇最无法理解的剧情就是前一晚还在亲热第二天因为在想爷爷的事，玛丽娜没察觉到一路说个不停，加上磁带和车坏了，突然一个翻脸冲玛丽娜各种吼，自顾自沉浸在爷爷离世的阴影里为什么要迁怒于玛丽娜??人家没惹你......我不明白为什么安铂会在爷爷和玛丽娜两者间纠结这么久，为什么想追求自己的幸福前要和爷爷说对不起??不能忘记爷爷也好，必须走出爷爷离世的阴影也好，想和玛丽娜在一起也好，这几件事有什么冲突的地方吗..?
对于亲人离世带来的阴影什么的我不是很懂，所以我没法共情安铂更没法理解安铂的所作所为，但我很努力的试着去理解代入了...几小时下来我只觉得安铂悲伤和生气的点都莫名其妙且极端，有时候觉得安铂可能是希望有人来理解开导她，但下一秒不是哭就是发脾气又让我觉得安铂比起被安慰其实更想一个人待着?反正到现在我都不懂安铂到底在想什么，我认为这种类型的人更适合一个人独处，就算有对象玛丽娜这种人也绝对和她匹配不来只会搞得两边都很累，就如同贯穿全文的各种矛盾和吵架剧情...本来以为dlc是纯小甜饼来的结果这俩又吵上架了，我头好痛你们可以消停一会吗

三人组倒是没什么好说的，脾气火爆各种歪理眼里只有钱的玛利亚，情绪稳定负责端水擦屁股的乔，还有看似话少内敛实则藏了很多心事的妹妹苔丝，奇怪的青梅竹马组合但在性格和生活各方面又很巧妙的互补了；在剧情前期不是很讨喜但后期和dlc都各自起到了知心大姐姐大哥哥的作用，这里不得不提dlc里这三个人(还有玛丽娜和苔丝二人共处拆生日礼物时)的剧情写得是真的不错，算是给本篇中三人的关系填坑了。我喜欢这个小家庭
每次提到玛利亚我都会想起安铂那句「来世你会是我喜欢的类型」，有点膈应但比起玛丽娜我觉得玛利亚与安铂更般配一点，虽然这俩通篇火药味就没减，但对于安铂这种人来说也许让玛利亚来骂一顿比玛丽娜的幼教哄人方法成效更快... [/spoiler]
对于我这种只要是1v1纯百合剧情就算及格的百合厨来说这作算上dlc勉强也算及格，但打差评的原因除了上述原因外还有一点就是那个恶心人的成就，能听玩家劝把旧版那段卡车司机的脑残剧情从本篇内删除是好事，放在额外内容的旧版剧情里我也可以当没看到不去点，但为啥要放个看这段剧情才能获得的成就?[spoiler] 实不相瞒我看完了，安铂丢下玛丽娜一个女孩跟满嘴黄腔的醉鬼男独处，居然只为去戳人家车胎??疯了吧???? [/spoiler]这段剧情除了让玩家膈应以及对安铂这个角色产生更多不满外毫无意义，写这剧情和想到拿这个做成就的也是神人两个
性价比中等，建议打折入手。剧情不错，类似广播剧，游戏上没有可供分支的选项，喜欢这类型的可以冲一波。
1v1的HE结局，两个女孩的恋爱故事，是怎么相恋相“杀”的。配音演员很有感染力（尤其是主角，我太爱她的声音了），两个女主都各有自己的性格特点；可惜配角的塑造感觉弱了点。
到最后有些伏笔没收回来，又或者作者不打算展开说：像主角说的，[spoiler] “假如有平行世界，估计我会多跟她（糖果店女孩）聊久点”是不是暗示有别的结局线？彩蛋的三人组说要去第二次探宝、主角们的黄金会怎么处置？女二玛丽娜（粉发）的家庭会展开聊吗？为什么会执着去探宝（目前正篇的理由感觉说服力不够）？为什么和三人组的玛丽亚（银发）的名字这么相像？三人组的男生为什么无条件帮助玛丽亚？ [/spoiler]

我在B站上看了制作人的宣传视频，真人出镜，超级用心，这还是重制版，加了配音和中文，加上各种后日谈，说实话，诚意和爱意都拉满了，我感觉一定是一款小众佳作。

剧情前半段，给我感觉非常励志，女主对女二额外的包容，女二也非常可爱，两人一同寻宝，相互打气相互帮助非常甜蜜，感情也能感觉到在循序渐进的升温。

我实在不明白为什么，女二给女主买个礼物，就能去赌博到把自己全部财产输完，如果只有女二突然犯蠢也就算了，为什么女主也要跟着赌，而且全凭运气的赌，导致后面剧情我完全没有心情看了。
制作的很用心，但剧情很雷点不小，想给差评又不忍心，唉。
Yes late to an older game, I genuinely absolutely loved this game and everything in it. I personally connected to the characters and the events they go through and seeing how they go through it in their own ways. The game made them into not just characters for entertainment but made them feel real and that what they went through and what they feel truly matters. This game being a clicker and read through the story and with auto and extra add on's. Going through the game with all content from the main game, dlc, and extra story of a rest stop add on from the original story, and extreme mode. I enjoyed all of the game and everything it had to offer and it was worth every second. Only wishing that their was more to play and enjoy the story with these amazing characters. This game is one of my personal favorites for the story and characters so I say give it a spin!

Highway Blossoms is a sometimes cute, sometimes emotionally uncomfortable, yuri story about two young women treasure hunting across the American Southwest.
After the death of her grandpa, her only real guardian, Amber is traveling in her RV to the California desert for a musical festival she and her grandpa were supposed to see together. Along the way, she sees a young woman, Marina, stopped on the side of the road, and pulls over to check on her. Marina's car needs gas, so they head to the nearest gas station, where Amber discovers that Marina (and many, many other people) are traveling around the Southwest in search of a recently publicized buried treasure. Feeling lonely after losing her grandpa, Amber decides to help Marina look for the treasure.
The early treasure hunting segments were the most enjoyable part of Highway Blossoms for me. Amber and Marina make for a great, banterful duo, and also find themselves in a rivalry with another group of treasure hunters, with whom they have many hilarious interactions.
Over the course of their journey, attraction slowly builds between Amber and Marina, and their interactions start to become a little quieter and more awkward. It's here where my enjoyment of the story started to slightly decrease, and it decreased even more during its melodramatic climax.
However, overall, I liked Highway Blossoms. Although the second half of the story killed some of the momentum from the first half, Amber and Marina are a fun pair, and it was fun to learn about some of the natural attractions in the Southwest.

他們採用英文配音，說實在的還蠻少看到這類的配音而且配音員是真的厲害開心時活力四濺、生氣時的撕心裂肺，一聽就能知道這個角色大概是什麼樣的個性，前幾句對話就能深深愛上角色的之間的互動模式，到了後期主角各種的情緒表現張力十足，在配音上真的能給這對主角靈魂，這次真的是配音吸引的

氣氛的營造，整體故事不會有太大起伏轉折，可能偶爾有一些小摩擦但整體故事的流程是輕鬆愉快的，而且爭吵和對峙的氛圍也營造的很到位，那種兩個人的小世界被營造的很細膩，如果厭倦了複雜的故事、難受的劇情那這款遊戲覺得是一個最好的解藥

隨著劇情逐漸慢慢了解角色見的情感刻畫和感情塑造，遊戲在這方面真的做的相當真實，這是我個人最喜歡這遊戲的點，尤其是遊戲快到最後Amber心裏的獨白從認識Marina到和他交往，從冷戰、爭吵中主角的心裡一直在變化且開始逐漸浮現，開始去思考愛的定義和面對自己愛人的想法，Amber這位角色他認為自己是利用Marina讓自己能夠彌補失去親人的痛，Marina認為自己沒辦法去了解Amber而感到難受，但最後能從對方的眼中看見自己，這兩位角色真的刻畫的太好了，讓這對主角宛如真人一樣去思考、去相互理解，這款快10年前的遊戲居然這麼有深度！讓讀者、玩家去真的了解角色，而角色也漸漸了解自己
最後有一句我超感動

日式二次元画风，美式公路剧情，量大管饱还有r18，好评
算是一个中评吧，优缺点都很明显。 但考虑到我毫无继续玩dlc的欲望，还是放不推荐里边了。
+配音和本土化翻译都很用心。
+最喜欢的角色是Mariah，颇具侠气，有话直说、爱憎分明。
+恋爱剧情交代得比较清楚（[strike] 算优点吗？ [/strike]）。Amber自身有些情绪问题（或者疾病？总之情绪很不稳定、向周围人毫不留情地溅射负能量），而Marina恰好是一个小太阳兼傻白甜（脾气真的很好吧，[spoiler] 借的车被偷被砸、被女朋友莫名其妙一顿骂都觉得没关系 [/spoiler]），治愈了处于低谷的Amber。主角不是我喜欢的人设，但这种设定也能解释她们为什么能凑到一起……？[spoiler] 她们的相处模式与其说是利用与被利用、照顾与被照顾，不如说是需要其他事情让她分心的Amber遇见了让人无法放心的Marina，同时Marina的热情打动了内敛敏感的Amber。两人共同经历风雨，也见彩虹，一路上感情升温，经历了一段暧昧期，水到渠成地在一起了。之后遭遇感情危机、破镜重圆。 [/spoiler]
-主线剧情比较无聊，公路、淘金，实际呈现的效果就是傻瓜模式三分钟概述的内容：Amber在路边捡到虽然什么都不会、但是很想淘金发财的Marina，意外收获一本人人都有的隐藏着藏宝地点信息的日记。Amber一看日记就知道藏在哪里了，同时其他人都猜不到，于是她们顺理成章取得宝藏。
-为了合家欢做了太多降智的处理， [spoiler] Marina为了给Amber买礼物去赌博，并且输光了自己的那部分财产…… 跟她赌博的恰好是Mariah、Mariah心善愿意给她们把钱赢回来的机会，并且她们恰好运气好赢了。主角光环真强大啊。[strike] 把钱赢回来之后，我们迄今仍不知道Marina想送Amber什么礼物 [/strike] [/spoiler]。有一些桥段莫名其妙，[spoiler] Amber突然的情绪爆发不太能get到，毫无铺垫（我不认为剧情中一直怀念爷爷是一种铺垫）。敢情您好事坏事都干完了，才觉得对不起爷爷啊？觉得亏欠所以朝着Amber大喊大叫发泄情绪，这一点真的在我的雷点上反复横跳 [/spoiler]。
-全成就需要看一个从主线中被删减的桥段，内容是醉汉抒发自己对两个女主的非分之想。工作室一边说对不起毁了你们的好心情，一边往成就里塞shit的行为令人费解。

There's a few arcs which I feel were at a sweet pace of character development / talk without too much unnecessary rambling or dragging on. The "doubting" arc came in quick though, maybe that deserved a little more.
There's a the odd crude mature comments that just feel "male fantasy" written here and there that feels out of place.
There's lots of cute interactions / dialogues here and there. Plot wise it won't rock your world but it's decent. In a "slice of life" way.
Music is cool too!
This VN has no choice, no branches, it's just a movie/read line to line. It's also one of the best animated ones I have played.
With one of the best UI with per character volume ajustments, autoplay adjustments etc...
The price feels right. I paid 3€20 on sale and fully worth it.
Edit : BTW NSFW / hentai / Sexual content / Nudity are imo undeserved tags. Genuinely perfect, probably the best romance VN I've ever read. The journey, relationships, and characters are all so immersive and memorable. The conflicts felt so believable and relatable, and I became so invested in them, 10/10 game I STRONGLY recommend.

Wonderful lil story! The dynamic between Amber and Marina is fantastic and seeing them grow together in their misadventures was a lot of fun and real charming. Mostly a light hearted and fun adventure with some good tension here and there, can be a little rough around the edges a couple places but overall loved my time with them!
This game made me cry and laugh, and these are the best things a game can do to you. Loved it, highly recommended

Surprised there is no panic buying of Visual Novels like Yuri or LGBT related, due to what's happening in the last month. But I'd say that in case, better stock up on these types of games while we can, and beg the game studios to give mass discounts while at it so we can all stock up. before the apocalypse of the Yuri/LGBT VNs from Steam or Itch.io.
This story is unbelievable. And sadly I mean that in the literal sense here.
None of the characters feel like actual people. Everyone's just a bit too exaggerated to be believable.
Every single characters core trait is exaggerated to a point where they don't feel like characters, they feel like vessels for drama and excuses for sh*t happening just to progress the story or create more drama.
While yes, obviously people are never perfect, I think the constant setups in this VN about the way people interact with each other is so far removed from reality that it becomes difficult for me to actually root for anyone.
It's so difficult to believe that Marina would be that stupid and that forgetful. (Also, really? "Nickel" being corrected to Quarter by Amber because she doesn't understand what 1/4th of something is??) The scene where she screams to not be treated "like a f*cking child" is not even believable because she's done nothing but ACT like a child for the entire game. It has no weight because she has genuinely not given me reason to believe she is anything but a child who could never take care of herself.
Mariah is a difficult case to express in simple words but her entire character feels like a joke, it feels like a mcguffin for the protag duo to have someone to bump heads with. Her animosity is dialed so high up that it's comedic but once again, it disconnects from reality. Joe and Tess both being completely passive towards it and putting up with it makes it all the worse cause it feels like the game itself doesn't even realize how silly it is. Also making her a raging alcoholic that goes as far as throwing bottles at them when she's hungover? She's abusive as hell and they just... don't seem to care?
It's difficult to believe how absolutely self absorbed Amber is for someone who's supposed to have dedicated herself to care for her Grampa (and then Marina), and yes I understand that she's a 19 year old girl who lost her only parental figure but the way she acts is still hard to believe sometimes. She's always right, she's always in charge. She's also abusive, in a much lesser degree, and it feels like the story completely skims over these aspects of the characters because they're just traits being used to forward a story that ends up feeling hollow.
The game was about a treasure hunt. That treasure hunt ends like halfway through the story. Two 19 year old girls have found A FORTUNE in gold and they just... don't seem to even care about it until it becomes relevant when Marina BETS THE ENTIRE THING AWAY (again, why the writers thought this would be good narrative I have no idea)
The treasure itself, the thing the game builds up around for the entire first half, becomes completely sidelined in the 2nd half, by interpersonal drama and convenient f*ck-ups that force the characters to be real people for brief moments.
By the ending, it's hard for me to feel for any of the characters, when none of them feel like real people to me. This feels like a bad comedy without a punchline.
It's already insane to me that these events even transpire like a 19 year old girl is suddenly away from home with no car and no phone and her immediate instinct is to beg the girl who rescued her to go treasure hunting with her instead of calling home?
I can excuse this as a forced plot progression for the sake of telling a story but just... Nothing that happens in this game feels believable.
(The fact that's also completely okay with A CAR being stolen and HER PHONE being sold is also just extremely weird.)
And Amber just conveniently doesn't own a phone either... Despite living on the road in a motorhome, which is old and like on the verge of breaking down? The fact that she doesn't even own an emergency prepaid phone is, again, insane to me. The writers just really needed to invent reasons for things to be complicated or create tension, huh.
I'm disappointed.

Cute VN, really good voice acting and an overall intriguing story. The pacing felt a bit slow at times and I wish the side characters had a bit more character development. Also not a huge fan of [spoiler]3rd act breakups[/spoiler], but your mileage may vary!

A good yuri visual novel that took me about 6 hours to get to the ending. There are no decisions to be made so you really are just reading the whole time. But the story is engaging, the voice acting & characters are superb, and the art is fantastic. Amber & Marina will tear at your heartstrings. Also the music is atmospheric and well done. Definitely worth your time!

I will write a more detailed review later. Overall, this is a very good yuri/wlw visual novel, with interesting characters, decent art and an excellent OST. There are some weaknesses in the writing that I found bizarre, most a specific issue in the R18+ content, but they were not experience breaking for me. The game made me laugh, cry and overall have a good time.

Met Jumbo: Remaster 와 함께 메인 스토리에서 제외된 에피소드다. Extra 항목으로 가서 전부 관람해야 도전과제를 달성할 수 있다.
Desert RV: 마찬가지로 Extra 항목의 Goofball mode의 Extreme 난이도를 선택. 타이머가 나올 때, Shift, Alt, H 를 동시에 입력하면 5초로 줄어든다. Skip 이 비활성화 이기에 나머지 대사는 연타로 넘기면 된다.

update: i beat the game and its DLC, next exit. this was my first visual novel ever, and it made me feel a plethora of emotions i'd forgotten i had in me. it even managed to make me cry towards the end.
awkward, complicated, cute, clumsy, eternal, unashamed love. highway blossoms is beautifully written, and presents us with a budding romance between two people who haven't exactly figured it out yet.
if you are a lesbian—or sympathetic to the cause—and you enjoy feeling things so deeply that it makes you nauseous, play/read this. trust me, it rules.

不完美但是还算不错了，说实话感觉挺新鲜的，确实很美式的感觉。有些人物的动机和思维我不太能理解，觉得有点别扭，不过总体节奏和体验还是不错的。至少能及格6分吧。
无数杯的咖啡，还有数不清的加油站的零食，三盒黄金，五个州，在尘土飞扬的沙漠公路上度过的三个礼拜，就是这些东西把我们带到了这里。
