I've been a fan of City Builders since the first Sim City back in 1989 and have played pretty much most of them since. They all have their pros, cons and quirks but I must say, that besides City Skylines and a couple 'historical' builders, and 'survival' builders I've really enjoyed my time with Highrise City, enough to say I think it's in my top 5.

Thus far I've not encountered any of the bugs/crashes others have mentioned and the current iteration seems, (I've not researched it deeply) to have the supply chain and trade functions working properly. There is even some (though no where near as many as City Skylines) workshop items that I've tried out as well.

There are a couple quality of life improvements I'd love to see...

The ability to pull up higher on the view of the surrounding terrain would allow me to plan out my build-out better. As it currently stands, you're barely above the buildings and the camera is angled pretty sharply so it's hard to view what is available outside your purchased/valid territory. It's nice to see the various commodities highlighted off in the distance but it would be helpful to have a 'top down' view available as a wider map for future planning.

I did find the notifications to be pretty intrusive... while I wanted the information, I found they popped up about every 20 to 30 seconds so I ended up turning them off. Perhaps a way to separate them between critical and non-critical would be helpful, that way I can decide what type of information I wanted.

As for some fun things I'd like to see in further updates, I think the ability to have pedestrian only areas/building types would be great and a few more entertainment/tourism items would be appreciated too.

Highrise City is a great addition to the genre, focusing more on supply chain functionality and the various population types (workers, engineers, managers) and meeting their various needs. Overall I'm glad I purchased and can definitely recommend it. A good 8 / 10.

Jammer er zijn geen bruggen viaducten, en je kan de weg niet buigen een bocht maken of onder - boven andere weg doortrekken, geen tunnels etc. Hopelijk komt een update en wat verbeteringen.

High Rise City may look like cities skylines from a distance, but it could not be further from that game in terms of gameplay and quality. Both games are technically city builders but in High Rise City you have to directly build the housing, services, offices, and industry and the main aim is not to give the citizens the means to maintain a city life but for the player to maintain it for them; This would be fine if the game actually ran well. Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic does something similar and that game is sublime, but here in High Rise City there are too many bugs and bizarre design decisions to enjoy what this game is trying to do. Offices exist but are only tangentially related to anything else, buildings have higher levels that have to be unlocked by banal challenges, and the success of your city is dependent on advanced knowledge that you won’t have until it’s too late and you realise that you screwed without knowing.
To make matters worse, the game has stutters and slowdowns and there’s a bug where occasionally workers will just stop showing up to work and that can only be fixed by reloading the game, and the load times are awful. Everything about this game is half-baked and it’s been abandoned by its developers so the state it’s in now is the best it’ll ever be, unfortunately.
Stay away from this one.

This is a wonderful game. I like the UI and the graphics very much. The game is super fun to play. The only issue I am running into is a lack of information. For example, am I supposed to add additional City Hall buildings? Does this City Hall constitute another city? So confusing. I could give more examples. The list of FAQs is very difficult to use and needs a search box. It took me several attempts to create a Tour for the vacation dlc because the information is very vague.

【第590篇评测】一般，10分满分给个5分吧，但是考虑在作者在简介上面说到前7年都是独立开发所以给个好评。先说城市，供应链方面确实是做的比其他城市模拟类型的好，有产业链有供应链，好评。画质方面一般。不支持DX12，而且不支持4K分辨率。画质开满也很低。而且在游戏里你开一个弹窗在开启另外一个弹窗上一个窗口不会消失，你要是点的建筑多了全屏都是弹窗。

[b]Highrise City[/b] ist ein klassischer [b]Stadtbau-[/b] und [b]Wirtschafts-Simulator[/b] von [b]Fourexo Entertainment[/b], einem kleinen (dies [u]unter Vorbehalt[/u]!) deutschen Entwicklerstudio aus 2023.

Unsere Aufgabe ist der Aufbau und die Weiterentwicklung einer Siedlung mit allen "klassischen Elementen" - Hausbau, Versorgung durch Nahrung, Wasser, Elektrizität etc. Immer im Auge zu behalten ist natürlich das Wirtschaftliche, um alles im stetigen Wachstum zu halten.
Das System hat ein für meinen Geschmack gut balanciertes System aus Wirtschaft, überall Gewusel und viel zu sehen zu bestaunen. Wir können unter anderem auch mit Fahrzeugen durch unsere selbst entwickelten Siedlungen düsen, alles bestaunen, auch kleinere "Fahrzeug-Quests" anfangen.
Die [b]Grafik[/b] finde ich - besonders für so ein kleines Team - [u]wahnsinnig gut[/u] gemacht! Auch das [b]Soundsystem[/b] ist gut durchdacht und passend.

[b]Technisch[/b] ist das Spiel für meinen Geschmack leider [b]nur so "mittelprächtig"[/b] geraten, es wurde scheinbar auch kurz nach Release des Hauptspiels und eins kleinen DLCs namens "Metro&Planes" vom Team so liegen gelassen, es ist nicht mit technischer Nachbesserung oder weiteren DLCs zu rechnen.
Ich habe knapp 260 Stunden ingame verbracht. Zu Beginn läuft alles prima, aber ab einer gewissen Größe der Sielungen wurde es dann immer schwierig - die Grafik ruckelte, alles wurde ausgebremst, ein weiteres Ausbauen der Siedlung kaum möglich. Auch hatte ich ein paar Abstürze, kann aber nicht mehr sagen, wie viele und unter welchen Umständen.
Ich spiele auf einem gut drei Jahre alten Mittelklasse-Gaming-PC unter Windows 10. Vor allem technische Anpassung wären für das Spiel für eine [u]uneingeschränkte[/u] Kaufempfehlung für meinen Geschmack dringend nötig gewesen...

Das Spiel bietet [b]47 Achievements[/b], die meisten "handelsüblich" für das Genre. Gerade die "harten" Achievements sind wohl extrem übel zu schaffen. Ich bin eigentlich passionierter Platin-Jäger bei Aufbau-Sims, hätte auch dieses Spiel gerne "durchgespielt", das habe ich aber schon wegen der technischen Probleme irgendwann ad acta gelegt.
Ich weiß nicht, ob die Entwickler da Einschränkungen an das Forum gelegt haben, was Guides angeht, aber es gibt keine Guides, die Hilfe zu Achievements bieten. Gerade für die zwei schwersten Achievements (die bei 0,1% und 0,0% laut globalem Erlangen gelistet sind!) bekommt man keinerlei Hilfe oder Tipps, Platin-Status scheint leider eine Herausforderung für Leute, die wirklich hartnäckig sind oder das Unmögliche wagen wollen...

[b][u]Fazit[/u]:[/b]
Ich empfehle diese schöne, leider aber liegengelassene und technisch bestenfalls mittelmäßige [b]Siedlungs-Simulation[/b] allen Fans des Genres unter Vorbehalt.
Ich finde den [b]regulären Vollpreis[/b] des Spiels [u]grundsätzlich noch vertretbar[/u], würde aber von mir aus nur zu einem Kauf im [b]Steam-Sale[/b] (wie aktuell auch) raten. Bei 50% Rabatt sollte das [b]Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis[/b] fair sein.
Vielleicht auch gerade eine gute Idee, um es zu den Feiertagen an Steam-Freunde zu verschenken. Ich wünsche jedenfalls allen, die sich das Spiel ebenfalls kaufen, ein paar heitere Stunden beim Aufbau ihrer Siedlungen!

Очень крутой и в меру хардкорный градовыживач (до изобретения ПИВА)
Ровно та же история, что с Тропико 5 — если вы обязательны выживете, то с какого-то момента будете выживать всех остальных :) осталось потыкать DLC
Плюсом главная влажная мечта (привет Streets of Simcity, о которой я мечтал с 8 лет но так и не смог или найти или запустить) всех градосимов в виде вождения по собственноручно сотворенному городу. Есть еще куда расти, но в целом игра относительно количества отзывов и того, что могёт однозначно hidden gem
