It's good short game, but way to repetive. It's just: get the bounty, kill the bounty, turn in the bounty, upgrade your Gatlians and do it all over again.

In the beginning, the cursing is fun, is new and a breath of fresh air from the "normal" games, but it becomes repetive very quickly.

Currently trying to 100% it but i just finished the main story, gonna play the dlc soon cuz i also got that but i thought it was pretty fun, its a lot more gameplay based then story based but it still has a good concept and plot. There were a few corny jokes but when they land, THEY LAND. Gunplay is also really really good and satisfying.

Listen, I mostly live in the salt mines of competitive FPS games like Overwatch, where the only thing louder than the headshots is the sound of my own blood pressure rising. I rarely touch solo story games, but I figured, "I like Rick and Morty, so ♥♥♥♥ it—let’s see what these talking guns are about."
Oh. My. Lordy. Lord.
This game is bloody brilliant. For the first time in my life, I actually want to 100% a game, mostly because the achievements are as unhinged as the dialogue. Case in point: my girlfriend and I actually sat there for a full hour during the second mission, staring at the screen like absolute Muppets because we thought something would happen.
The result? No achievement. No progress. Just the game verbally pointing and laughing at us for being idiots. 10/10, would get bullied by software again.
The interactions are never boring, the guns have more personality than most of my teammates in ranked, and miraculously, my dinosaur of a PC runs it perfectly on Medium/High settings. It’s a rare gem that doesn't melt my CPU or my brain.
If you want a game that makes you feel like you’re playing through a fever dream written by a genius on a bender, buy this. Highly recommended.

The game feels like the episode where Morty is everyone in the Roy game and has a few legit funny jokes...

Gameplay is nothing special. Graphics are... okay... performance on 3060ti is well... no bugs so far...

HOWEVER; the MUSIC SUCKS ASS.
The combat music, to be precise!

The overall music is fine, servicable, but whenever you are in combat there is some cringeworthy tune going on - that is my only motivation to quickly get it over with. Seriously.

On a scale from 1 to 10, it is a 3 at most.
Not quite ear splitting like old NES titles or completly broken, but BAD...

I cant say if they tried to make that one on purpouse but cmon man, why would you do that?
Than again some people thought CLAPTRAP being annoying is what sold Borderlands!

BORDERLANDS sold in SPITE of Claptrap! Not BECAUSE of Claptrap... fk christ.

Yes, I would recommend it, but... with a caveat. It's a bit buggy. Several times during my playthrough, the game soft locked on me and I had to restart from the last checkpoint. One time not even that fixed it and I had to restart the game to progress. Then it glitched out at the end and I ended up OOB and unable to finish the final boss fight and had to restart the checkpoint again. But it could've been my PC somehow or MS Windows actin' a fool. Not sure.

If we're ignoring that though... The game is very fun, and twisted like rick and morty is. If you like rick and morty and enjoy FPS games, you're probably going to like this. There are tons of hidden event triggers and achievements for random stuff. The abilities, guns and gameplay are quite good, although it sort of seems like the enemies are designed to be on the weak side. Some fights are pretty hectic towards the end and I definitely died a bunch, but mostly because I just suck as a gamer. The gunplay (at least on MNK) is a very good blend of mostly manual aim (little to no aim assist), but the long shots to take out snipers are very forgiving with the hitbox with Kenny so you're able to take them out without dumping a whole mag for one.

The constant chatter from the guns gets pretty old pretty quick and turning it off does not turn off the main dialog, so that's nice. And the voice actors from rick and morty make the game very enjoyable. The soundtrack is quite good too. First game I've played in a long while where I left the audio settings alone and listened to the whole thing.

It's got a lot of pick a response events so I'm guessing it's different based on the choices you make? I played this time through being a good person (as much as possible anyways), so I'll probably play through at least one more time as just being the most brutal killer I can, and if it changes the storyline significantly, I'm probably locked in for at least 1-2 more playthroughs as I FAFO with different aims in my response choices. Not really looking forward to spending so much time with that homeless legless washed up bounty hunter though...

Insanely fun - great humor. If you like rick and morty you will like this. Take the time to look at the posters and little descriptions in the game, basically everything is a joke. There is crude humor and they mix in some pretty elevated humor / deep refrences also. The humans being used as drugs is a crazy premise. Don't be too scared of the shortish playtime. Its a very tightly paced game in the vein of ratchet and clank rift apart. I think for most gamers this game in the 50% off or better range is good value. I'm looking forward to beating this and playing high on life 2 when it comes on sale by 30-40% as i'm now a fan of this series.

I just finished High On Life. Its a very funny game about aliens invading Earth. Your mission is to save the world with guns that can talk to you.

The Story and Talking Guns
The best part is the talking weapons. They talk to you all the time and react to what you do. The story is simple and fun, and the cartoon style makes the game look very unique.

Gameplay: Fun and Easy to Play
The game is very enjoyable and changes as you play:
* Cool Weapons: Every gun has a different personality. It feels like you have a friendship with your weapons.
* Beautiful Worlds: The places you visit are colorful and different. You will not feel bored looking at the maps.
* Puzzles and Bosses: Puzzles are easy but fun. The boss fights are great and very different from each other.
* Exploration: This is a bit weak. There is no real reason to explore the map after you upgrade your guns.

The Content Problem (Warning)
This is important: the game has a lot of bad content. There is a lot of swearing (F-words), se*xual jokes, and even some nud*ity on TVs inside the game. Also, some enemies look like body parts. The game also insults religions and has atheistic ideas.

Pros (The Good Stuff)
+ Great Mix: Comedy and shooting work perfectly together.
+ Vibrant Graphics: Beautiful and simple cartoon style.
+ Talking Guns: Talking to your weapons is very fun.
+ Diverse Worlds: Many different and cool places to see.
+ Good Story: The story is entertaining.

Cons (The Not-So-Good Stuff)
- Explicit Content: Too much swearing and se*xual themes.
- Offensive Ideas: Insults to religions.
- Limited Exploration: No big rewards for exploring.
- The Shop: You cannot buy many items in the shop, which is frustrating.

The gameplay is fun, but because of the se*xual and offensive content and atheistic undertones, I cannot recommend it..

This was a fun game. The humor is definitely hit or miss, but when it lands, it really lands. If you’re into Rick and Morty style humor and first-person shooters, you’ll probably have a great time.

I went in expecting pretty basic gameplay, but the combat and traversal actually had more depth than I gave it credit for, which was a nice surprise.

Fun game. Frames are a bit choppy, but I think that's part due to semi-old hardware and part due to poor optimization. Either way it was enjoyable and the voice acting is spot on. Gameplay is solid and plays a bit like a more arcade-like version of Halo.

It's a fairly well-built game. I ran into a couple of bugs where a simple 'reload last checkpoint' solved it. All game mechanics worked really nicely and were fun to use.

I wouldn't mind more weapons, and you really have to like this humor to be into it. I didn't, so after a few hours I just zoomed through it—not the game's fault though.

Had an incredible time experiencing this game for the first time. It took me 32 hours to 100% complete, but you can do it in shorter if you get all of the miss-able achievements first playthrough. I did not experience many issues during the original playthroughs, and I played through the base game twice (note I am playing this game for the first time 4+ years after it's original release).

The DLC was OK, not great... I am pissed they took out Kenny as he was the best gun and I felt like he made the game. I enjoyed having a few extra boss fights, mini games, and achievements but this world felt barren and dull which made it feel like I was sliding everywhere constantly. I also did not really enjoy the Slug City with the postcards and force fields everywhere, it just felt like they threw in a bunch of B.S. because the boxes did not matter for the $$ and upgrades anymore.
While although the knifey chainsaw PvP was AWESOME, it felt like you unlock it towards the end of the DLC anyways, so you do not get to enjoy it much.

Overall, I definitely recommend the purchase as it is one of the funniest games I have ever played and my second playthrough was unique to my first. Definitely will find me buying and playing the new High on Life 2, and hopefully the next game they make where Kenny is brought back. ;)

Никогда не смотрел "Рик и Морти", поэтому это будет мнение мимокрока.Игра неплохая.
В ней есть юмор, который может быть спрятан за языковым барьером.
В ней есть нелепый сюжет, который осознанно сделали таким.
В игре говорящие пушки и они реально прикольные
В игре кислотная картинка но к ней привыкаешь
Но все таки недожали:
Боевка посредственная, оружие не дает импакт, всю игру прошел с дробовиком
Мувмент обычный, без изысков, есть - и ладно.
Разнообразие противников - его нет, скукота, боссы скучные
Саундтрек не цепляет, персонажи кроме пушек не цепляют, такое ощущение что ГГ в игре это говорящий пистолет а не сам герой
Бектрекинг, попытки растянуть игровое время такие себе.
В целом рекомендую, если надоели обычные шутеры то по скидке берите

Arena shooter tarzını ve Doom benzeri oyunları sevenler bu yapımdan keyif alabilir. Ben Doom serisini oynamadığım için doğrudan kıyas yapamıyorum, ancak bu oyunda birçok noktada sıkıldım. Başlangıçta size tek bir silah veriliyor ve kısa süre sonra üzerinize çok sayıda düşman geliyor. Silahın tek tek ateş etmesi kalabalık düşman grupları karşısında beni strese soktu; sistem sanki bu tempoya çok uygun değilmiş gibi hissettirdi. İlerledikçe yeni silahlar açılıyor ve oyun biraz daha keyifli hâle geliyor, fakat bir süre sonra tekrar monotonlaşabiliyor.

Sürekli düşman dalgalarının gelmesi de keşif yapmayı zorlaştırıyor. Etrafı rahatça gezip bir şeyler incelemek isterken oyun sizi hep çatışmanın içinde tutuyor. Görselleri ilk bakışta etkileyici dursa da oynadıkça benim için cazibesini kaybetti. Ayrıca silahların konuşması da bir süre sonra yorucu olabiliyor; espriler ve diyaloglar başta ilginç gelse de zamanla kafa şişirebiliyor. Ayarlardan bu durumu azaltmak mümkün, ancak ben oyunun orijinalliğini bozmak istemediğim için dokunmadım.

DLC içeriği de bana oldukça sıkıcı geldi, fakat kısa sürdüğü için çok sorun etmedim. Ana oyun ve DLC’leri tamamen bitirmek ortalama 26 saat civarında sürüyormuş; ben tüm içeriği tamamladığımda yaklaşık 27 saat harcadım. Oyunları tamamen bitirme alışkanlığım olduğu için bu süre bana biraz uzun geldi.

Ama arena shooter tarzının bana pek uygun olmadığını da bu oyun sayesinde öğrenmiş oldum. Ayrıca ikinci oyunu da çıkmış; grafikler ve genel sunum çok daha iyi görünüyor, ancak oynanışın büyük ölçüde aynı olduğu söyleniyor. Don't get me wrong. I like the story and I like the gameplay. It is hilarious all the same. My issue is even after the update that took them so long to give in and implement when the customers were screaming for screen shake and FOV settings, it will still make you motion sick (if you get motion sickness from games).

Mamy tu kilka ton żartów które są śmieszne wtedy, gdy przestają być humorem toaletowym i naumyślnie żenującym łamaniem czwartej ściany, czyli rzadko.
Jest tu też jakieś strzelanie z podobno dobrych broni ale jedyne czego ja doświadczyłem to backtracking po tych samych oszczanych trupach w koło macieju non stop. Gra nie stawia przed graczem żadnych poważnych wyzwań, nie ma więc kiedy zastosować wymyślniejszej taktyki niż "strzelaj aż umrze", nawet bossowie choć wydają się spoko zaprojektowani, są walkami sztywnymi i nudnymi.
Lezduit miał fajny desing, tak myślę??? Walka z tym ćpunem z sutkami na wierzchu była nawet zabawna??? Ciężko naprawdę powiedzieć coś dobrego po tych 12 godzinach kampanii przesyconej komediowym ściekiem którego idee fixe jest takie że miał być żenujący i irytujący.

I completely enjoyed the game. It is silly adult humor situation with gun play. The talking guns the drugs and the things your enemies say in combat kill me. The puzzles were not super hard which i love. The artwork was superb colorful fit the narrative. It ran smooth , the controls were spot on. I would recommend this game to anyone over 18.

Жаль, что у этой игры нет Русской локализации в плане озвучки, знаю, что вроде как делает Сыендук, но когда она выйдет - вопрос. Ну да ладно, накатил "руссификатор текста", очень даже неплохой, ну как по мне и погнал играть. Ноут у меня не новый и далеко не самый мощный, но играл без слёз, что фпс низкий, всё было хорошо и довольно плавно, за исключением моментов, когда что-то расплёскивалось возле лица, но это было не критично. По сюжету, придираться особо не к чему, он есть какой есть, безумный, вызывающий, вы знаете кто создатель, так что должны понимать на что идёте, а именно поэтому в игре просто ДО)(ЕРИЩА мата, в большинстве своём про письки и кто куда кого сунул вынул, а мы и не против.
Из плюсов[+]
+Забавный мир с юмором;
+Главные персонажи, они не бесят, хотя это на любителя, но их диалоги вызывают улыбку и желание ещё больше послушать их диалоги;
+Сюжет, но не ждите чего-то прям ВАУ, он просто не плохой;
Может есть что-то ещё, но дальше будут минусы, или плюс-минусы, не знаю как к этому относиться, решайте сами:
-Геймплейно, игра не сказать что делает что-то новое, это тир с бегающими мишенями, даже на последней сложности.
-Не знаю, был у кого-нибудь такой баг ещё, но после смерти, моды на твоём оружии могут сброситься на стандартные и ты этого никак не поймёшь, пока не используешь этот мод, потому что визуально, оружие остаётся окрашенным в цвет мода. К примеру, я чаще всего бегал с "Свизи" и модификацией на мощный выстрел (пкм), после смерти, начинает стрелять стандартно, а при переходе в снаряжение, галочка стоит на моде и нужно прожать на мод ещё раз, чтобы она прыгнула на стандарт и обратно, вроде ничего такого, но мне доставило неудобства. А позже случилось так, что после смерти на этом же оружии уменьшился магазин, хотя улучшения на его кол-во остались в инвентаре =(
-+Сами модификации и прочие покупки в магазине. Они по большому счёту не очень то и нужны, но они есть и ты думаешь скупить всё, ищешь ящики с валютой, но пригодится оно едва-ли, не ощущается прирост мощности как-то.
А в целом и сказать больше нечего, DLC после прохождения основной игры, проходить желания нет, как и выбивать оставшиеся ачивки. Советую брать по хорошей скидке, пройти, поржать (возможно) с диалогов, ну и всё. От меня 7,5/10

Titre : High On Life – Un délire total de SF débile comme j’adore 💚👽

Évaluation : ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

High On Life c’est exactement mon délire. Dès le début tu passes de “no life dans ta chambre” à “chasseur de primes intergalactique avec des flingues qui te parlent”, et le jeu ne lâche jamais ce ton complètement barré. L’univers est fou, les dialogues partent dans tous les sens, et j’ai souri presque tout le long du jeu.

🌌 Un univers complètement perché
L’ambiance SF est incroyable :

des planètes chelou avec de la végétation vivante, dégueu mais fascinante,

une ville-alien géante qui sert de hub, blindée de PNJ bizarres, pubs débiles, écrans partout,

des décors qui te donnent vraiment l’impression d’être dans un cartoon adulte géant.

Tu sens à fond la patte du co-créateur de Rick and Morty et Solar Opposites, Justin Roiland : c’est son studio Squanch Games derrière le jeu, avec son humour, ses impros, ses voix et ses délires méta. On n’est pas officiellement “dans” l’univers de Rick & Morty, mais le ton, le rythme, les blagues, c’est exactement ça.

🔫 Des flingues qui parlent (et qui ont plus de personnalité que certains héros AAA)
Le cœur du jeu pour moi, c’est les Gatlians :

chaque arme parle, commente ce que tu fais, réagit aux événements,

ils ont tous un caractère différent (plus chill, plus agressif, plus flippé, etc.),

leur gameplay change vraiment ta façon de jouer (tir principal, tir secondaire, capacité spéciale pour l’exploration).

Je changeais d’arme juste pour entendre ce qu’ils allaient dire ensuite. Le jeu est blindé de répliques, de vannes, de remarques contextuelles. Si tu aimes l’humour à la Rick & Morty, c’est du miel.

😂 Une écriture ultra généreuse
Ce que j’ai adoré :

les PNJ random qui racontent n’importe quoi,

les pubs et émissions à la télé totalement absurdes,

les dialogues qui se déclenchent si tu traînes trop ou si tu fais exprès de ne pas obéir,

les petites scènes cachées si tu fouilles un peu partout.

Le jeu ne se contente pas de balancer deux vannes et basta : il bombarde en continu. Même en ralentissant et en prenant mon temps, j’avais l’impression de toujours découvrir une nouvelle punchline ou une nouvelle situation débile.

🎯 Gameplay fun du début à la fin
En plus d’être drôle, ça reste un vrai jeu de tir :

les armes ont du punch,

tu débloques de nouvelles capacités qui rendent les combats et l’exploration de plus en plus amusants,

les niveaux mélangent baston, plateformes, petites énigmes et exploration.

C’est pas un “walking simulator à blagues”, c’est un vrai FPS déjanté avec un bon rythme et des combats qui restent agréables jusqu’à la fin.

🔪 Le DLC High on Knife : encore plus taré
J’ai fait aussi le DLC High on Knife et j’ai adoré le ton un peu différent :

ambiance un peu plus “horreur crade” au début,

Knifey (le couteau psychopathe) mis en avant comme jamais,

nouvelle arme complètement dingue, des ennemis bien dégueu,

des situations encore plus absurdes et violentes mais toujours avec cet humour noir qui fait le charme du jeu.

C’est vraiment une excellente excuse pour replonger dans cet univers et passer encore quelques heures à découper des trucs en rigolant.

💭 Mon ressenti
Pour moi, High On Life + son DLC, c’est :

un univers SF ultra original,

l’humour Rick & Morty / Solar Opposites parfaitement assumé,

des flingues/personnages mémorables,

un gameplay suffisamment fun pour tenir jusqu’au bout,

et un DLC qui prolonge exactement ce que j’aimais déjà.

Si tu accroches à ce style d’humour et que t’aimes les FPS un peu différents, c’est un énorme oui. ⭐

Overall, nice atmosphere and game design, but over time the missions and the story become a bit repetitive. The game relies a little too much on dark humor dialogues and I think that alone is a deficiency. Despite all it's a short and interesting experience worth trying.
