Единственное что не дает игре быть топовой, это боевка.
Концепция интересная, реиграбельность тоже. Конечно есть много чего над чем можно поработать и улучшить, однако даже то что есть очень вовлекает.

Не советую играть без ДЛС, так как теряется большое количество сюжетных линии, и имеет смысл играть только с ними для полноценного опыта.

Наткнувший пару лет назад на бесплатный спин офф, который меня зацепил своим высасывающим душу геймплеем, сюжетом и сеттингом. Я и подумать не мог, что выйдет настолько годная и разносторонняя игра основанная на титаническом труде двух целеустремлённых людей. Можно долго петь ей дифирамбы за реиграбельность, рандомность, арты персонажей, сюжет и прочие прекрасные механики, но не буду.

Из минусов можно отметить пожалуй технической состоянии игры и баланс, но с учётом того, что патчи и фиксы выходят с завидной регулярностью это ерунда.

Игра и каждое дополнение из тех, что я играл стоят каждого потраченного рубля в общем-то в них видно куда каждый потраченный рубль и ушёл.

Если вам нравится рпг и пошаговая боёвка с элементами случайности и вы готовы оказываться в ситуации, когда не всё зависит от тебя, то смело можно брать. Если сомневаетесь, всегда можно попробовать downfall

Comprends pas l'intérêt d'un jeu où il faut passer son temps à perdre en permanence pour à un moment donné avoir assez perdu pour perdre moins vite mais toujours perdre sans vraiment progresser avant des lustres.
C'est la mode ce genre de jeux qui vous punissent de jouer.

Ha oui, et puis il ne faut pas croire ce qu'on lit partout:
non, ce n'est pas beau; non, la version française n'est pas très bonne (et elle fait déconner les menus); non, les combats ne sont pas si riches ni originaux (surtout à la 30ième tentative)...
Quand au scénario qui apparemment sauve tout ça, ce dont j'ai pu profiter est bien quelconque.

ultimately i really dont reccomend this game.

1. First issue is the repetitiveness. It has the roguelite progression where u get stronger each run, but there is no variation between the run, so ultimately u just play the same story again and again to the point where u die the last time. At the beginning it was fine when everything is fresh but it becames so tedious after several runs. The game has many branch path only after half of the game, after the siege. SO u will replay a long time. The gameplay is also really boring.

2. Second is unfairness. No matter how good ur character is, there are many things in the game u need to progress unless u know the games beforehand, what to prepare and what not to sell. For example, in one mission u are asked to make leather boots and leather sheaths, but the leathers needed are so much u could not fullfill it unless u are buying and hoarding leathers beforehand. One dlc path needs to capture, and it only tells u when u are already in the battle, so no mechanics beforehand and if u dont have suitable weapons for it u are ♥♥♥♥♥♥.
3. Also this game is actually surprising lacking of content. I have 40 hrs in my profile, but if u dont count the grindy progression, the games content could probably finish in 6/7 hrs. U are just replaying, doing really boring item managing, fetch quest, skipping and clicking hoping to get the next chapter.
4. And the game doesnt make u feel u are a nobody getting stronger and surviving the war. The main progression comes from metagame. So if uare a nobody at the start, u will be nobody in the end. If u have a full plate armor and best weapon at the start, u just walk through the games like a breath.

5. Bugs. I saw other comment encounters a lot. I also encountered one major one that really stops me from this game alltogether. My super strong character who can one shot everysingle enemy in the game for some reason could not do a single damage to one of the encounter knight. The fight continues for 200 turns and i still could deal no damage. It is at this moment i decide to let go of myself from this game.

This is an excellent game, and with the DLCs it has a substantial amount of replay-ability. The story at this point is very competently written and organized, and can be enjoyed on both easier difficulties as well as harder ones.

But let me be completely honest. The true experience for this game is the Heads Will Roll mode and it is tough as nails. You are not going to win this mode your first try through. You are not going to win this mode your fifth time through. This is a game mode about challenging your intuition, admitting to your shortcomings, and avoiding risks until you either master the game or (More likely) leveled up your profile to build a better starting character. When you've earned the right to start with stronger characters, DO IT. If you can complete the first two campaigns, then retire. You've done it. You've survived. And you've only scratched the surface.

Go back and do it again, but stronger. Go deeper. Join the Crusades. Die. Try again. Die. When you eventually win, just know--You've only scratched the surface. Go back but this time... Go to France. Go to Italy. Go to Brittany. Or really test your abilities and try to win with a simple Random character. See how much you've improved.

This game is most rewarding on its hardest difficulty and it does not hide that fact. It's also part of what makes it great. Very rarely do I leave reviews on Steam, but the discrepancy between this games great content and design vs. it's simply "good" reviews compelled me. The poor reviews are mostly for it's punishing but fair difficulty. I don't mean to disparage these reviews, but if you feel like you are a fairly competent strategy/tactics gamer then you can probably disregard them.

What are some downsides I can note? Well, given the roguelite elements of the HWR difficulty, you will have to engage in a lot of redundacy when playing. In practice, the game will start to feel like Groundhogs Day by design, but the interface and pace of the game is generally snappy enough to smooth down the edges of this. Not perfect, but quite good. The quality of the writing is at times a little eccentric. When writing of military events, of battlefields, of tactics and strategy, it is quite good. When writing the romance and character relationships, it is also commendable if a little diluted (This isn't a dating sim, after all). Some of the dialogue that pieces the rest of the game, though? Occasionally weird anachronisms or oddly... inartful lines slip in. I think some of this has probably been updated since the 1.0 release, and in the DLCs I think the standards are higher as well, but don't expect Shakespeare.

Artwork is generally very nice to look at but occasionally deceptive in battle. Make sure to click on enemy portraits to confirm what kind of kit they are using, for instance.

You'll have to play very carefully and fidget with limited inventory spots when in camp to maximize your play time. Sometimes it becomes frustrating trying to just take an item from the local shop to your storage chest as you have to juggle bag slots and shuffle equipment into spots. The game has made improvements to this little dance, but not enough to remove the friction and grit from the gears.

There is also an Adult DLC you can download to see pictures of boobs if you play well. It has no impact on gameplay but I won't fault you if you choose to get it. This is part of the Developer's Vision, after all.

Overall, 9/10. Excellent effort from the development team over the years.

Heads Will Roll Reforged is a game I generally liked, even though it has some clear problems. It’s not amazing, but it’s not bad either. The dark fantasy vibe is cool, and the whole idea of going on runs, making tough choices, and trying to survive worked well enough to keep me playing.

One thing that stands out in a good way is how brutal and honest the game is about failure. You’re not treated like a hero who’s supposed to win every time. You’re more like a random mercenary trying to make it through a messed-up world, and the game leans into that. When you finally get a good run going, it feels earned, not handed to you.

Some parts can be frustrating, and not everything feels balanced or well-polished. You’ll definitely have moments where things feel unfair or a bit janky. Still, when the game clicks, it can be pretty fun, especially if you’re into rough, punishing games where you learn from mistakes.

Overall, I’d give it a 7/10. It has issues, but it’s still a decent game and worth trying if the style and idea sound interesting to you.

非常精彩的历史题材文字冒险+rpg游戏作品。

玩家扮演一名英法百年战争中应召入伍的英国小兵，经过战火的洗礼从零开始积攒家底，培养自身的能力和在各个势力间的声音。通过选择可以成为成为王子亲兵介入英国内战立下功勋成为勋爵，也可能作为雇佣兵介入威尼斯和热那亚的战争发家，更有可能登上英格兰国王宝座成为历史级的征服者。

在诸多路线之中，我认为最精彩的当属威尼斯双线，特别是总督线，无论是对中世纪威尼斯在时局中如履薄冰外交局面的描写，还是对城市风貌人文爱情的文字渲染，以及为了破局在神罗、匈牙利、法国等皇帝国王间来回周旋的玩法，都相当令人沉浸。最后娶到威尼斯的明珠成为共和国元帅的完美收官也相当让人满意。

十字军线则是另一个让人惊叹的路线，源自一个父亲的嘱托，参与十字军在黄沙中的征讨，展最后抛开所有一切只为在大漠最深处为一个儿子完成救赎，透着让人透不过气的历史和命运厚重。

除此之外，法国岳父线的效仿韩信故事，英国的王子线、平民线以及最重要的篡权线也都让人满意。总之，如果喜欢文字冒险游戏、历史题材的玩家，那么这款作品一定不能错过。

・アニメーションなどは無く、戦闘やシナリオで絵的な動きが無い、一枚絵がないのも多い
・文章のテイストはともかくわかりづらく名称が安定してないのでまあまあ読みづらい
・強化ポイントがもらえたり使えるのは最高難易度のみ、もっと気楽に無双したかった
・リアル系の世界なので主人公は男で顔も固定、せめて何パターンか性別を選べると良かった
・微妙に扱いづらいＵＩ、人に会うのとかサッと行けずメンドイ、武具修理がいちいち装備外さないならないとかもメンドイ
・イベントの解決方法とかが提示されないことが多く何すればいいかは自力で探すしかない

ゲームシステム自体は凄く面白い

だが、弱くて使い物にならない、制限が強い装備が多い

無理やり弱い装備でも戦うために使っていたパリーダガーも下方修正されてしまったし

敵にダメージを与えない代わりに怪我をさせる攻撃がごく一部の武器以外削除されてしまった

1人用ゲームなのに強い装備を弱くする意味がわからない

弱い装備をどうにか使い物になる方向でバランス調整して欲しい

特に技を制限するとか楽しさ減りまくりで何がしたいか分からない、
そもそも大して強くない同じような技の武器ばっかりなのに更に多様性まで無くして何がしたいんだろう

鎧で完全に防がれると100%クリティカルヒットの状態でもクリティカルヒットしないとか色々残念なところが多い

Cara, esse jogo tem um dos visuais que parecem ter saído direto de uma coleção de “arte” gerada por IA, isso quando não é apenas um PNG de armadura, recortado porcamente. A música é interessante nas primeiras horas, mas rapidamente fica repetitiva. A escrita tem a qualidade de um isekai genérico.

Ainda assim, apesar de todos os problemas, eu realmente gostei da experiência. O jogo te coloca na pele de um plebeu fodido que foi pra guerra, sem treinamento e praticamente sem equipamento. Você VAI morrer. Provavelmente de forma patética. Então você vai recomeçar um pouco mais forte e repetir o processo, várias e várias vezes, sempre chegando um pouco mais longe, mais perto de salvar aqueles que você era fraco demais para proteger. Ou você vai se corrompendo no processo, desistindo de alianças, se juntando aos seus inimigos.

O combate é muito bom, principalmente se você gosta de realismo. Graficamente vai ser uma merda, mas as estratégias e builds estão ali. No geral, apesar de todos os problemas, eu recomendaria esse jogo para quem gosta de roguelikes desafiadores, fãs de criação de builds e apreciadores de histórias medievais mais realistas. Apenas espero que consiga ignorar as aparências.

If you enjoy games that let you really stretch out and try many possibilities, and are willing to lose a few times getting learning and growing, this is a wonderful experience. Very few games have the depth this one does. I say that at 800 hours played, quite happily.

Great game it has some technical problems and some gameplay elements i wish would be inside without 3rd party program need.

RPG and Visual novel combined and that combo is just good.
My 1st playthrough was on easy (Story mode) I somehow gotten up to french campaign where i had to swim naked and that was a point where i died (don't remember which part directly).
I was an idiot who wasted a lot of time because i didn't know what to do. Biggest problem i didn't know you could train your stats by clicking on them so instead i played on a freaking lute just to pass time.

I was tilted by it, why the f can't i train my stats. What did i do? Delete the game? Nope, let's go with HWR difficulty where you can manually create your character and with each ending or DEATHS increase your odds the next time.
It took me around 30-35 hours i think to finally to get to a point where i had max stats and could steamroll HWR difficulty (Axe is a good choice btw).

Visuals look good, some bugs with models (shields).

Story branching is interesting and the story itself? Not perfect but damn good if i may say so.
There is even an option to say f that all i'm gonna be a craftsman. (Though developer made an annoying achievement i.e. Nobody (you are a nobody). I tend to think when you have an option and refuse to play along with others and just choose the ordinary life it something akin to Diogenes refusing Alexanders offer.
You are not a nobody you are an content and independent person who is by far more amazing than a lot of prominent figures. If by not playing games other people set up for you forces you to become a nobody, then so be it but it was disappointing.

As for cons:
The massive one HWR difficulty has autosave option ONLY WHEN YOU LEAVE NOT WHEN YOU CRASH.
Imagine you are near the end of the game (can take roughly 1 or 2 hours depending) and bam crash. You come back and it didn't save, you have to start a new game so 1-2 hours wasted.

Next point, some if not all stats cannot be trained beyond a certain point (i think it's 60 for stats and 35 for weapon mastery). And manual creation is capped at 25 for stats and 10 for weapons.
The worst? Game still allows you to click on weapons mastery beyond 35 but you will likely (in my case 100%) waste time and get tired (your character). The same cannot be said for stats, they are coded to stop you from clicking and even have a message.

Last con is just my preference, now that i have an uber profile i want to go back to story mode with my profile and dominate. Or at least have an option to have more time. HWR forces you to be economic on time and presses you for hard decisions, now i want to enjoy since i achieved that but only can do so in HWR difficulty which once again forces you into situation.

Seems like after the last update, enemy Boss can respite forever, recovering 20-30 fatigues each time, and always have low fatigue. I have no idea how can I defeat them. Initially the game was quite fun until this stupid change.

与其说是独游版、乞丐版“天国拯救”，倒不如更像是欧洲版“侠客风云传”。是的，就是那个给你一段期限练功时间然后跳事件的国产武侠，本作的核心循环与此类型游戏意外的一致，玩家扮演一个无名小兵通过努力提升自己的能力，克服一个个事件成为大人物。
让我意外的是这个游戏居然是用的RENPY，就是那个欧美经常来做PPT黄油的引擎，能有这种系统属实佩服。不过游戏的RPG→战斗系统在后期就显得相当单调，人物构筑后期大体也就分为力和敏，算上武器种类可能脚趾都用不上，并且战斗系统在你参透并提升人物属性后变得相当单调，重复控制——击杀这样的循环，而作者给出的对策也只是死命堆怪，拼命堆高护甲高属性怪（或者砍玩家性能——说的就是你，沙漠DLC），这只会让本就贫瘠的系统变得更无聊，更恶心。这也是为什么DLC路线难度曲线这么shit的原因。如果说HWR难度随机通关本体是带有运气的极致策略，那么通关DLC很难不怀疑是开了，不过也有可能是我太菜，但看到这DLC一个个数值怪，我真不好说。
与其相对的，作者在系统上的偷懒换来了文本和情节的细致编排，从小人物到大人物这一情节上的写作无疑非常吸睛，特别是威尼斯DLC与其难度曲线对应的总督人物的塑造相当深刻，仅需数笔就能刻画出一位清浊并吞的老政治家，并且本作虽是像GALGAME那样直接进剧本线路的设定，但每一处小环节都可以让玩家自由RP的设计，相当引人入胜。
