Although I can manage the somewhat floaty controls (I much prefer snappy platformers), the fact that most levels are designed for repeated playthroughs, in a "trial and error" way, is a deal breaker for me.

This is made much worse by the checkpoint system that can lock you out of previous parts of the levels: grab a gem after a checkpoint, die before you reach the next one, and you lose both the gem *and* the ability to go grab it again, because a door reappeared for no reason. And this is just an example.

In summary, don't be fooled by its looks; this game is hard and frustrating.

Grapple Dog is a very solid 2D platformer. The grapple mechanic is really fun and utilized to the fullest extent. I found some levels to be really enjoyable challenges. I recommend collecting all the gems. It is really satisfying to get them all. Plus you get to pet Pablo at the end of a level. I give this game a 8/10! I had a great time with it!

A pretty fun platformer that doesn't quite feel like full advantage of it's titular gimmick. I really love the visuals in this game; I saw somebody mention they seem very GBA inspired which does just hit the nail on the head for me; very big bold character sprites with colourful and clear environments.

Whilst this game is technically sound, and for the most part controls well, I do think it could have locked in on the grappling hook gimmick a little better; I had the good fortune of playing SANABI earlier this year, and that is a grappling hook based platformer where it feels like the entire thing is build around the gimmick, meanwhile in Grapple Dog it feels a little more incidental sometimes. Make no mistake; there is plenty to swing off, but it just doesn't feel as fluid as you'd like, especially in the later levels where things get a little more hectic. Despite this however, the levels are still fun to jump, run and swing through, with very little fluff in between. Even later stages manage to pretty successfully straddle the hard/fair line, which is not always an easy feat.

Overall a solid pretty platformer that definitely could have done a little more with it's "hook." Worth a play for platforming fans for sure, just don't expect anything that will truly wow you. 6/10

Doggie-Kong Country

This game is basically like Donkey Kong Country with a grappling hook. The game is fun, but frustrating on occasion. I really liked the bosses, especially the dragon. Progress is locked behind collecting gems. Regardless of how many levels you beat, you might have to go back and get more gems. There are occasional paths were one direction leads to a hidden gem and another leads to the exit. If you pick wrong, you may need to replay the level to get the missed gem. You also can't simply collect the missing gem and exit the level, you have to collect the gem and finish the entire level again or else it doesn't count.

There is additional content after beating the main boss including trying to collect all gems and fruits, but by that time I was ready for it to be over.

This game has my recommendation. The fun outweighs the frustration and there is a sense of satisfaction once you clear a difficult area.

So far I like it. It's a cute game with fun music. Reminds me of a better executed Alien Spidy. I am frustrated by the orange gates that mean you have to replay the entire level to get all the pickups for a little mistake. It's quite frustrating and doesn't add much to the game. Grapple Dog is a fun 2D Platformer game about Pablo, a slightly dimwitted dog that finds a grappling hook while part of an exploration team researching a legendary Inventor. Unfortunately, he also awakens Nul, a robot that has a huge (and justified) grudge against the Inventor, and is willing to put reality itself at risk to "set things right". In order to stop Nul and save the world, Pablo has to grapple through various levels, sorted into themed archipelagos like "Volcanic Factory" and "Wintery Ruins", collecting fruit and mysterious purple gemstones along the way. It's an easy premise to grasp, made more entertaining by an expressive, cute cast and some very good music.

Notably, this game has two "vibes", given equal attention. The first time through each level, you're not only going from start to end, but also checking every nook for those collectables, because a ton of fruit equals bonus gems and you need gems to unlock each world's boss. In fact, if you're thorough enough in early stages, you can unlock future bosses without having to clear any other level in its world, though it's still advisable to play them since they each introduce a new mechanic (like crumbling platforms, or a new type of enemy) that will come up later. Then, once you beat a level, you can go back through it in a (completely optional, save for achievements) Time Trial mode, not only trying to optimize regular run & jump action but also optimize the momentum you can get from a really good grappling hook swing.

My only complaint is that I came across an unfortunate glitch in the final boss level, where dying midway through the watery section despawned a ton of fruit on my next go-around, meaning I couldn't collect all the gems on my first run through. It was at that point I decided to check out the Accessibility features in the game's Options; specifically, turning on Infinite Health and Jumps, to reward myself for beating every main stage fairly, and making the second run of that level far less stressful. If you're not good at platformers, whether due to skill or a disability, I want you to know that there is no shame in using them, and am glad to report that there is no in-game mockery or demerit for using them. In fact, it made me wish more platformers had features like that, because some days I want a challenge but other times I just want to groove while I grapple.

It's fun, it's accessible, and it's stylish. Even my one complaint cost me, at most, an extra seven minutes of playtime of a game that, by the end, I greatly enjoyed for nearly thirteen hours total. And so, this is not a decision I had to grapple with for long: I'm recommending this game!

先说缺点，跳跃手感不好，空中移动迟滞感很强。那个所谓的奖励关卡，不如叫挑战关卡，到了后面难度飙升。角色方面没有任何的升级，导致操作上就比较单调了。硬件上也有点问题，我的无线手柄插上线充电，就不识别了。
好的方面呢，除了跳跃外，其它的操作手感还不错，关卡的推进主要是在地图机制方面做的更新，BOSS战也算是各有特色，画风也是比较讨喜的。7.5/10

A very fun (albeit at some points frustratingly difficult) platformer!
I didn't except much from the game at first, but the artstyle, level design, mechanics, soundtrack and amount of content is very very good!
A very welcome surprise were new mechanics in almost every level.
Good physics definitely help the game out a lot too - it wouldn't feel as fun without them.
Time trials - well, this is an odd one. They challenge you, albeit some are pretty easy to get a gold medal on, while the very next can only give you seconds of downtime. I didn't enjoy them as much, but they're a nice addition.

Aside from some small things, like enemies/traps shooting projectiles from off-screen and some difficulty spikes, I can only recommend this game!

游戏倒是不难，尤其是还可以开辅助模式，打开设置可以选择 [b]无限跳跃[/b]和[b]锁血[/b]，这样的话基本上手残都能全成就了。就是太无聊了，真的就如标题狗钩一样，全程就那个主角（狗）拿个钩子，我还以为四大神器每个能解锁一种能力呢，比如说护盾啦，冲刺啦，能量波啊之类的，但是什么都没有，第一关你是耍钩子，到最终关还是耍钩子

除了每一大关卡会增加几种少的可怜的怪物和新陷阱场景互动之外，基本上都是大同小异，所以真的很让人无聊

very cute artstyle and funky soundtrack.
Gameplay feels inconsistent. Sometimes the hook autofixes towards a target you were roughly aiming at, sometimes it flies past it by less than a centimeter without affixing, especially if you have taken damage. Some hook targets require target rings to appear before the mechanic works, meaning you can actually go to fast for the game. Definitely not a bad game if you just go through the main stages and get enough gems to unlock boss stages.

all that in mind i am still having fun with Grapple Dog, grappling and swinging is somehow still fun 9 hours in, we'll see how I feel when it comes to time trials though

Me he pasado Grapple Dog y, aunque tenía buenas expectativas al empezar, la experiencia final ha sido bastante más decepcionante de lo que esperaba.

La historia es muy sencilla y fácil de entender: hay un “malo” y tú, como héroe, tienes que salvar el mundo. Es un planteamiento muy clásico, al estilo de los plataformas de Mario, y cumple sin más. No es algo que sorprenda, pero tampoco molesta.

El problema llega cuando hablamos del juego como plataformas. En general, me ha parecido un plataformas algo decepcionante. La gran mecánica diferencial es el gancho, que te permite moverte con más libertad y balancearte por los escenarios. Al principio resulta divertida y bastante satisfactoria, pero no es especialmente innovadora. El gancho funciona bien a nivel de sensaciones, pero falla en otros aspectos del diseño, lo que impide que destaque de verdad.

Además, aunque su estética colorida y su estilo artístico te hacen pensar que es un juego accesible para todo el mundo, no estoy nada de acuerdo. Desde más o menos la mitad del juego en adelante, la dificultad se dispara… y no por buenos retos, sino por un mal sistema de plataformas. Los saltos son muy poco permisivos y el margen de error es mínimo.

Esto se nota especialmente en el Mundo 5, donde algunos elementos de diseño me parecen directamente pésimos. Las plataformas temporales tan densas y las superficies pensadas para usar el gancho reducen muchísimo el margen de error, haciendo que el jugador se frustre más de lo que disfruta.

En cuanto a la exploración, la mayoría de las gemas y monedas se consiguen fácilmente con un poco de curiosidad. Esto hace que haya muy pocas sorpresas y que la sensación de logro sea bastante floja.

Se puede jugar en Steam Deck, pero aquí me llevé una de las peores experiencias del juego: durante la pelea contra el jefe final, el juego se me crasheó al interactuar con uno de los elementos que lanza el jefe. Al volver a entrar… sorpresa: tuve que hacer todo el último nivel desde cero para volver a llegar al jefe. Algo muy frustrante y difícil de perdonar en un tramo final.

A esto se le suma que no hay compatibilidad con Steam Cloud, por lo que cuando quise jugar en PC, los archivos no se sincronizaron. En un juego de este estilo, me parece una carencia bastante importante.

No todo es negativo: algo que sí me ha parecido muy positivo es la banda sonora. La música acompaña muy bien al juego y es, sin duda, uno de los aspectos que más destacan.

Grapple Dog tiene buenas ideas y una presentación simpática, pero falla en aspectos clave del diseño, la dificultad y la experiencia general.
Personalmente, no lo recomiendo.

로프 액션 플랫포머 게임.

한 월드에 보통 6개 정도의 스테이지와 3개의 보너스 스테이지가 있는 구성되어 있다. 기본적으로 스테이지 마다 보라색 보석 5개 동전 같은 거 220개 이상 채우면 2개 추가해서 총 7개의 보라색 보석을 얻을 수 있다.

그래픽도 귀엽고 BGM도 진짜 기깔나서 듣는 맛이 있는데 난이도는 약간 어려운 편이다. 그냥 쭉 깨는 건 쉬운데 보석을 다 먹자고 하면 좀 어렵다. 특히 로프 반동 이용해서 어디 올라가야 하는 구간 있을 때가 진짜 지옥이다.
나는 패드로 플레이 했는데 빡빡한 구간은 키보드로 했다. 확실히 로프 액션이 좀 어려운듯.

스토리는 단순하고 무난하다. 그래서 더 좋은 거다 주인공 파블로가 생각 없이 그냥 뭐든 하는 모습이 보기 너무 좋았다.

타임어택은 보석 안 먹어도 되서 그나마 낫긴한데 그래도 빡빡한 편. 나는 하다가 하기 싫어서 바로 그만 뒀다. 게임 자체 옵션에 무한 점프나 목숨 무한이 존재하니까 게임이 많이 어렵다면 애용하자.

할인하면 가격도 싸고 게임성도 좋아서 추천.

稍显遗憾的平台跳跃游戏，画风不错，空中转向控制略黏，重点是受伤的时候不能松开钩爪以及疾跑槽强制归零...挺毁手感的。

有几个藏的比较好的收集要素需要用出钩滞空这个隐藏机制获取，那么为什么不围绕着多做一些深度藏匿要素呢，可惜了；流程里绝大部分的宝石和蓝币稍微转一转就能发现，能带来惊喜和收获感的寥寥无几。

世界5的一些设计在我看来很糟糕，密集的临时平台和钩爪表面使得容错率变得很低的同时加大了玩家的挫败感，游戏本身的平台跳跃手感就比较一般，密集地铺开这样的设计很容易形成负反馈循环。

钩爪并不是什么特别新鲜的设计，尽管本作的钩爪动作系统做的相当爽快，但在其他方面总是差了一口气，以至于离优秀二字始终有一段距离。

感觉有点难，不是说没有复活次数什么的，就是感觉再某些方面，紫色钻石的地方还是太刁钻了。
但是！游戏给了作弊方式，可以在体验一边最原汁原味的跑酷之后，享受作弊的爽感~
但是真的没打完，有五六个世界，boss不难。
小狗可爱，但是感觉另外两个角色没有太大作用，小船也是。

Loving this game. If you grew up in the golden age of 8/16 bit 2D platformers, this will probably tickle you just right. It's not as "smooth" in controls as modern games, but has the controls of an old school platformer and it just the right balance of difficulty and "I can totally make that jump next time" that keeps you playing wthout becoming frustrating.

There's a lot to like from the old days. The main ingredient is a mix of Mario and Sonic, but there's more than a dash of Bionic Commando in there, a bit of Alex Kidd and a touch of Donkey Kong Country.

I think it's absolutely worth the money and if you get it on a deep discount, it's an even better deal. There's more than enough entertainment here to keep you busy for a dozen hours or or two.

It seems like a really decent platformer game, from first glance, made very well, very cool music, I'd listen to it for hours while playing, the story is also interesting, giving me good old-fashioned console games vibes, like Mario etc.

Well, those are positives, the negatives, it is a "try-hard" type of a game, where you don't play and relax through the gaming smoothly but you have to try hard to complete a lvl and the game, and this is a huge red flag for me in games, I can't really play those type of games, also playing it on PC feels uncomfortable. I got this game from random Steam Keys. It was fun trying it out, but I don't think I will have any desire to play it personally.

Very solid and oft-times tricky platformer with great level design and charming art. Feels a bit slow to move. Make use of the two features for making it easier if you need it: infinite jumps and infinite health. More collectables and timed mode for extra game play.

It's a good game. It looks pretty, feels juicy and level design is fun.
Some levels feel frustratingly difficult and there are a lot of instances where the only gameplay is to just "wait" (e.g. until the next grapple point comes to you) which is not fun. Noticed quite a few frustrating bugs too.

Grapple Dog feels "retro" in that it feels like it would fit right into the catalogue of Nintendo GameBoy Advance games, in art style, music, and difficulty curve. Pretty fun, at times a bit too punishing of exploration and fast play, but the accessibility options like unlimited health and unlimited jumps make parts that could be very frustrating something that can be skipped by changing two menu options. I enjoyed it!

Not a hidden gem. An actual treasure trove.

First of all, the game is insane. Catchy music, great art style and direction, universally funny dialogue, awesome character designs, adaptive audio and music, expert level design... The game just oozes soul outta it.

Gameplay is so solid its surreal. It got its jank when you’re going too fast, but grappling with the hook mechanics is so, so rewarding. Never before have I had such fun at a game.

很精美的像素美术对不对？跳跃的机制也有自己的巧思对不对？看起来应该是一部很不错的游戏才对。

但实际上手手感并不好，整个游戏的流程也很无聊，经常一个关卡玩着玩着我会想怎么还没到终点，有一种急着过关的感觉。而且想深入玩的话，全收集也非常的硬核，看外表我还以为是星之卡比那样给小孩子玩的欢乐游戏呢。

Recommended (With Grievances Filed)

I genuinely like this game. The platforming feels good, the characters are adorable, and the difficulty curve eventually stops holding your hand and starts throwing punches — especially if you’re insane enough to go for 100% completion. Overall, I had a good time, and yes, it’s worth playing.

That said… let me complain for a moment.

Things That Slowly Drove Me Insane

Punishing exploration.
Listen, if I pick a path that leads to the end of the level, that’s on me — but don’t lock the door behind me. Nothing feels worse than noticing a gem or alternate route half a second too late, only to get launched into a red cannon that blasts me through a one-way wall like I just signed a legally binding contract to stop exploring.

Now I have to replay the entire level because I accidentally chose the “progress” path instead of the “secret” path. That’s not challenging. That’s annoying. This is such an easy fix too — let me backtrack. Ground pound the wall, phase through it, something. Don’t punish me for curiosity.

Time trials on auto-scrollers are not fun.
Especially the ones with moving grapple anchors on fixed cycles. Missing a cycle means standing around for ten seconds doing absolutely nothing, which is thrilling gameplay, obviously. Then the time trial punishes you for it. Great. Fantastic. Love failing because I was half a second off instead of actually messing up.

Honestly, those levels aren’t fun without time trials either. Add a clock, and they just become frustrating.

The music.
I’m sorry. I tried. I really did. But hearing the same track loop for an entire level drove me up the wall. I muted the game, opened YouTube, threw on a random indie playlist, and instantly had a better experience. That’s… not ideal.

Pop-in issues.
There’s noticeable pop-in with moving grapple points, and it causes small but very real delays in gameplay. In a precision platformer, even tiny delays matter. It doesn’t happen constantly, but when it does, it’s enough to throw you off.

And finally — the unforgivable sin.
If you are a PC game and you do not have a “Quit to Desktop” option in your menu… we need to talk. Making me “Quit to Menu,” watch the main menu animation, and then select “Quit to Desktop” is a crime. A deliberate one. There is a special circle of hell reserved for this design choice.

Despite all of that, I still enjoyed the game. The core platforming is strong, the challenges can be genuinely satisfying, and the overall experience is solid. I just wish it respected my time — and my exploration instincts — a bit more.

Play it. Just be prepared to sigh… often.

I felt very frustrated while playing Grapple Dog. I hate this game. I thought it was going to be a relaxing one, but the colors and cuteness tricked me. I can't give it a thumbs down because even though it was stressful playing it, I have to recognize that the game was well made in many aspects and maybe the problem is just that I am bad at it (but yeah, I beat it!).

About the level design, I believe that it is not so good in some stages. I started trying to get all the oranges, but gave up very soon, as in many stages there will be like 2 possible ways where one contains a gem (and more oranges often) and the other is a point of no return with a checkpoint; and many times there is no way to distinguish each of the ways. Or sometimes I get a gem after a long way just to die and lose all progress. I gave up playing the extra stages, the main story was enough for me.

A difficult to recommend game, maybe on sale? It's an okay platformer and I made sure to at least beat the campaign before reviewing. The mechanics are introduced pretty simply/safely and then the game increases complexity and starts mixing mechanics. This keeps the game feeling fresh enough and when the level feels fair, it feels good to play.
It starts off easy, but the way it ramps in difficulty towards the end feels more frustrating than really challenging.
When the game is at it's best, you're zooming through the level and get to feel really cool, but I did not like that: you need to restart levels to go back to a section if you missed something; some rotating grapple points pop in, which feels like it stops my flow; a lot of frustrating bits in levels and boss animation feel like they are just there to waste time; the music is below average (subjective) and there's little variation, so it feels like an annoying loop.
Overall, it's fun enough to beat once, but not fun enough to ever go back to or try to 100%

Zabrzmi to trochę niepoważnie, ale największym szokiem po kilkunastu minutach gry była dla mnie świadomość, że to rzeczywiście może być skierowane przede wszystkim dla dzieci. Z jednej strony rozumiem oczywiście - słodki piesek, kolorowa oprawa, przyjazna kreska i motyw ratowania świata to bez wątpienia rasowe atrybuty rozrywki dla najmłodszych, jednak z drugiej strony, przykłady Crasha Bandicoota czy Super Meat Boya pokazały, iż bajkowy charakter nie musi wcale oznaczać, że będziemy mieć do czynienia z łatwą przeprawą. Błędnie zatem założyłem, że skoro nasz czworonóg wyposażony jest w chwytak, a światu zagraża ogromny robot, cała otoczka będzie ledwie zmyłką, by wyolbrzymić prawdziwą naturę produkcji.

Trzeba to natomiast powiedzieć głośno: tu nie ma żadnej “prawdziwej natury”. Są za to proste mechaniki oparte o skoki, bujanie się czy odbijanie od ścian, poziomy wybaczające naprawdę wiele pomyłek, a także bossowie, którzy z przyjemnością podrzucać nam będą apetyczne kostki regenerujące punkty życia, byśmy przypadkiem za szybko nie przegrali. Nie zrozumcie mnie źle, nie widzę oczywiście niczego złego w luźnym, pozbawionych frustracji graniu, jednak gdy ktoś decyduje się na wypuszczenie platformówki z taką myślą, to niestety dla niektórych podobna przeprawa przez dziesiątki poziomów z ciekawego wyzwania przemienia się w długą i mozolną podróż, wobec której nie każdemu wystarczy cierpliwości.

Jednocześnie dopatruję się dużej siły w tej niewątpliwej przystępności. Poza dość oczywistym odbiorcą w postaci osób niewprawionych w tego typu zabawę, wydaje mi się to być znakomita pozycja dla młokosów, chcących spróbować sił na przykład w zaliczaniu gier na 100%. Bo to nie tak, że całość jest banalna czy nawet bardzo łatwa - tu nadal potrzeba solidnej dawki zręczności, timingu i precyzji, a poszczególne levele uzupełnione są dodatkowo o opcjonalne, czasowe triale, co nawet przeciętnie obytym z kontrolerem ludziom powinno sprawić trochę trudności; łatwizną nazwać to może dopiero ktoś naprawdę zaprzyjaźniony z challenge’ami, a mój licznik nabitych godzin wydaje się jasno poświadczać, że można się w to solidnie zaangażować.

No właśnie, zegar. Wartym odnotowania atutem jest tu również skala projektu, ponieważ to zdecydowanie nie jest opcja na jeden, dwa czy nawet trzy zimowe wieczory i prawdę powiedziawszy, byłem mocno zaskoczony, patrząc na swój czas spędzony pośród podniebnych akrobacji. Oczywiście ukończenie samej przygody bez oglądania się na statystyki zajęłoby znacznie mniej, natomiast ciężko tutaj oskarżać kogoś o monotonię czy powtarzalność - właściwie każdy kolejny etap wprowadza coś nowego i nawet gdy są to tylko drobnostki jak ulepszona rampa bądź nowy rodzaj przeciwnika, nadal potrzebujemy trochę czasu by się do tego przyzwyczaić.

Zresztą, by pozostać uczciwym i jednocześnie zakończyć już temat poziomu trudności, trzy ostatnie, dostępne po ukończeniu głównej fabuły lokacje są już rasowymi wyciskaczami łez i potu, wymagającymi uczenia się na pamięć wszelkich skrótów czy bardziej skomplikowanych mechanik, zmuszając mnie nawet do powtórzenia jednego z nich ponad sto razy w wyścigu po złoty medal. Czy wolałbym, aby całość była znacznie krótsza, a wypełniona w większym stopniu podobnymi, wysoko zawieszonymi poprzeczkami? Zdecydowanie. Ale czy wyszło by to produktowi na dobre? Niekoniecznie.

Tym bardziej, że tematyka opowieści zachęca raczej do wrzucenia na luz, zawierając w sobie przede wszystkim wartości takie jak przyjaźń, troskę i miłość, bez nacisku na jakiekolwiek negatywne emocje. Jednocześnie by w pełni nie ulegać takiej narracji, wydaje mi się, że należy trochę zrugać autorów za brak polotu tak w samych dialogach, jak w ogólnej części socjalnej kolorowych zwierzątek - większość wypowiadanych zdań to dość trywialne, pompatyczne stwierdzenia, a udostępniona do zwiedzania łódź czy mijani NPC to tak naprawdę zwykłe przeszkadzajki, z którymi nie warto za bardzo wchodzić w interakcję, gdyż nie niosą za sobą nic poza pustawymi liniami tekstu.

Sama rozgrywka to przede wszystkim korzystanie z charakterystycznego pistoletu z hakiem, za pomocą którego łapiemy się ściśle wydzielonych krawędzi, sporadycznie wykorzystywanego również jako broń. Większość oponentów pada jednak po jednym, często nawet przypadkowym zderzeniu czy wystrzale, a znaczna część plansz zaprojektowana została w taki sposób, by systematycznie, w swoim tempie po prostu przesuwać się z lewej do prawej, z wyjątkiem poukrywanych tu i ówdzie fioletowych diamentów. Tym samym gdy wpadniemy już w pewien rytm, nie trzeba tu nawet szczególnie głowić się nad znalezieniem właściwej drogi bądź sposobem na rozwiązanie zagadki - tych ostatnich bowiem nie uświadczymy w ogóle.

Finalnie raz za razem częstowani jesteśmy przykładami tego, że nikt tu od użytkownika niczego nie wymaga. Chcesz pełną pulę kryształów za zbieranie małych pomarańczy? Śmiało, omijaj te trudniej dostępne, nie trzeba znaleźć wszystkich, by otrzymać nagrodę. Powinęła się noga i spadłeś w otchłań? Skoro koty mają siedem żyć, to psu należą się cztery. A może boisz się podjąć ryzyko próbując jakiegoś irracjonalnego skoku, by nie stracić zbyt wiele czasu? Spokojnie, checkpointów jest na tyle dużo, że możesz bez problemu próbować wskoczyć nawet na najwyższe kondygnacje. Wydaje mi się, że trudno o bardziej książkową definicję relaksatora.

Zatem choć trudno tu mówić o jakimś zachwycie z mojej strony, rozumiem oczywiście dla kogo ten tytuł powstał, jakie emocje ma budzić i komu się podobać. Nie mam też zamiaru robić z siebie ofiary, gdyż niejednokrotnie przyszło mi się nakląć z powodu jakiejś trudniejszej części czy niefortunnego układu przeszkód, toteż dalsze pastwienie się nad skalą wyzwania nie ma sensu. To świetny starter dla małoletnich odkrywców zręcznościówek, fajna opcja dla kanapowców, niedzielnych graczy lub zwolenników choćby Steam Decka, a jednocześnie twór bez problemu do pominięcia przez tych przesadnie ambitnych; o ile zatem nie da się nauczyć starego psa nowych sztuczek, o tyle ten malutki, tytułowy, wręcz pali się by kilka zaprezentować.

Using the hook requires momentum, so you kind of have to keep moving, making this a little bit more action and reflex heavy than the average platformer. IE it's more of a Sonic than a Mario. As long as that's what you're looking for I think this is probably great, and my rating and recommendation is for that demographic only. However, as a person who prefers slower and/or puzzle platformers I didn't really find myself getting into this much (5/10).

Art style is definitely pixelart with a hint of retro, but unique looking and not at all derivative. Music is good. Controls are smooth and remappable.

Отличный платформер, с отличным управлением, схема проста пылесосим уровень на наличие всяких кристаллов, потом проходим этот же уровень в speedrun'е и бонус уровень если нашли кристалл который дает на него доступ, в общем чем я и занимался в течении 58 часов))) Местами прост, а местами "мама не горюй" какой хардкорный, лично мне запомнился уровень 3-2 в режиме speedrun и конечно 6-2 в обоих режимах( режим speedrun'а на котором я до сих пор не осилил) . В игре также есть возможность включить читы на бесконечные жизни и прыжки, что судя по статистике и обзорам сделало 99 процентов игроков, чтоб потом написать "простенький платформер пробежал за 8 часов", ну-ну) Слабаки !!!

I really like this game! The platforming is fun, the characters are cute, and there are some serious challenges as you get later into the game (especially if you're going for 100% completion). I have a few complaints, but overall it was a good experience and worth your time.

things i don't like

punishing exploration. like dude if I pick the path that leads to the end of the level, LET ME BACKTRACK. Let me go back and explore. I hate it when I'm following one path and end up in a red cannon that I can't just fall out of but have to get blasted through a one-way wall. Now I have to replay the entire level to go explore the other path, or something that I just noticed as I got in the cannon. That/s not fun, that's annoying. And it's so easily fixed, just make progress walls passable. do a ground pound or something to get back through. I hate feeling punished for accidentally choosing the level path instead of the gem path.

Time trials on the auto-scroller levels aren't fun (the levels where the grapple anchor moves on a set path). TBH those levels aren't fun generally, it's no fun just standing there for ten seconds because you missed the cycle, and I hate getting punished in the time trial because I missed some cycle. It feels like luck,.

I just had to mute the music man. It's not that good, and the same track throughout each level just drove me up a wall. I went on youtube and played some random indie music compilation and had a way better time.

there's a lot of pop-in around the moving grapple points. It causes a delay in gameplay

I had fun playing through this platformer. It started of rather easy but the difficulty increased (in most cases) the further you get into the game. Working on obtaining all gems was an adventure and obtaining every gold medal in the time trial variants was challenging. Certain levels fully allow you to focus on obtaining maximum speed which feels amazing, even if it comes with the risk of easier hitting obstacles.
Great, challenging, platformer overall.

I wanted to enjoy this one a heck of a lot more than I did. Friends recommended it and the platforming seemed cool. But if I can be real, even just a couple minutes in I had a hard time getting into it.

I hate criticizing aesthetic as it's quite subjective, but I really didn't enjoy the artstyle of this game. The thick outlines and disjointed line weights makes the game look cheap. And the characters, kinda ugly.
Especially the one rabbit character. When the game showed them close up and clearly I actually burst out laughing. She looks like a weird tiki with a drawn on expressions.

The gameplay didn't impress me either. The grappling hook feels heavy and a little difficult to use. Which sucks in a game all about the grapple! It's a struggle getting my controller to work too.

Yeah, I'm sorry but I personally didn't get much out of it. It's just a lot of little things that added up to a soft dislike. It definitely does have an audience but it's something I personally wouldn't recommend.

It gets a bit repetitive if you were to play this as a main game, but as a side game playing 2-3 levels/session it's really fun. I'm not usually a fan of grapple mechanics, but they're really solid and not all that mechanically tricky. The platforming challenges are good with fresh mechanics introduced regularly. The boss fights are also really good and the artstyle is charming. Get it.

Really solid and modern platforming. Great level design, and the collectibles actually have a purpose. Bangin music, lots of heart. Easy recommend!

这游戏的唯一亮点就是美术很棒，其他方面就是很一般的平台跳跃游戏，虽然只玩了一大关加几个小关，真的没找到什么亮点，关卡设计没有任何独特的元素，玩过几款平台跳跃游戏的话这游戏的设计都会很眼熟，没get到简介里的独一无二指的是啥。
手感比较复古，任何跳跃都会加上横向位移，很多时候会比较难受，这手感有点像初代马里奥，个人不太喜欢。不过这问题不大，问题最大的点是关卡目标是收集，但是又有很多无法返回的卡点，一旦错过就重新来吧，最绝的是有些放在存档点前面，一炮送你到下个存档点时才看到，要收集整关重来吧。

平台跳跃闯关游戏都差不多，也没什么特色，纯喜加一。键盘的手感很差，关卡也挺难的，想全收集不容易。

我真没想到，一块钱都不到的游戏，能玩接近10小时，虽然就是普通的和马里奥差不多的游戏，但是还是挺吃技术的，有的地方挺难的，我死了好多次才过去，他的无语就在你要打boss你还得收集够钻石才让你打，很恶心的设定。这也就是浪费时间的地方，要不然只通关，我感觉也就四个小时左右，关数可太多了，大关里有小关

the game is good, but i cant recommend it because its flaws are very apparent towards the end of the game. The game has a few technical issues like certain grappling hook spots not loading in right away and random stuttering across a few levels. It also does not feel like the game had any thought put into the time trials, that they were just thrown on. Some levels have insanely easy time trials, and some have insanely tight timing, especially the very last one. The game has a whole meter dedicated to the speed of pablo but very few of the levels seem to take that into consideration, where in some cases you're just barely catching up to a wall of fireballs, so youre forced to slow down. There's also a few places where you just wait and don't do anything. Plus the grappling hook auto-aim just isn't consistent sometimes, making it especially frusturating.

this is a nice game but make me feel like it was bad. this gived me ulcer and stress. a platform that makes you lose the desire to collect objects in advance is not a good platform. is unfair most of the time dont buy it

Este es un caso interesante porque puedes disfrutar la mecanica del juego en la forma que los desarrolladores tenian en mente, tomandote tu tiempo en calcular los saltos. Pero también es muy entretenido si decides ir por la ruta tramposa que es realizar saltos infinitos e invencibilidad que te ofrece las opciones.

Si decides ir por esta segunda via, que es basicamente jugar en modo debug, el juego se convierte en un interesante concepto de speedrunning y de buscar por todo el mapa los coleccionables. Es más, tengo la sensación que hay ciertos tiempos en contrarreloj que no son posibles sin esta ayuda,

El modo de juego está bastante influido por las versiones 2D Sonic the Hedgedog con las diferentes rutas multinivel que hay, y especialmente en el modo de combate contra los jefes que me han recordado vagamente a Megaman. Si te gusta este tipo de género: hazte un favor y compralo.
