This is not 'Gothic' in any of its meanings. I have been playing 'Gothic 1' since 2002. Then I did not have a fancy PC, so I needed a game without lags. 'Gothic 1' was the one. It was also the one to be smart, not teaching people as if we all are unable of thinking. And so on. All those shiny thingies in the screen with climbing, anime-figthing styles will not make it 'Gothic'.
Захотелось глянуть на старый тизер перед выходом ремейка. По сути это даже не игра, а просто техно-демка очень слабого качества с кучей багов, типо откатывающихся сохранений и глючной боевкой. Как демонстрация будущей задумки сойдет, надеюсь сама игра выйдет достойного качества.

The prev demo was much more like the original, now it's not the first Gothic game at all. Where's my favorite atmospheric tree with a skeleton? What's in its place is worse than ♥♥♥♥. The game has become so colorful and bright, and it's terrible. I hope it will be more like Gothic when it releases.
I know it's a teaser.. But C'mon.. After loading the save character spawn without that broken sword.
When you want to fight the wolfs near Diego you can't unsheathe sword..
Я с удовольствием проходил и перепроходил "классические" части Готики, потому я в теме то "как было" ранее.
И должен сказать, я впечатлен количеством проделанной работы и то, как разработчики стараются расширить мир первой части.
Я помню начало оригинала, - подъемник и небольшая лужа в котором мы просыпаемся, где Гомез нас как бы спасает. А потом мы бежим по узкому коридору до Старого Лагеря. Тут же... Сделали это более реалистичным. Мы действительно у полноценного подъемника, у полноценного пропускного пункта Старого Лагеря и это кажется имеет больше погружения, это приятно видеть как разработчики стараются расширить оригинал чем-то новым.
Да, я читал негативные отзывы по поводу того, что не хватает старых механик, что навалили нового... Камон. Первая часть Готики была забагованной, передвижение и боевка там справедливости ради была не лучшим образчиком баланса и качества. Так что текущая версия ничего не хуже.
Соглашусь, что минусы есть. Невидимые стены, довольно топорная боёвка, пусть и задмука вдохновленная For Honor в целом и не плохая, странный лутинг. Меня очень зацепило, что в начале мы дрались с мужиком с мечом, по квесту чтобы получить меч. Мужика победили, меч его куда-то пропал, а мы поитогу получили вместо хорошего меча, какой-то обгорелый обрубок. Не логично и странно. И надеюсь многие недоработки будут допилены на релизе.
Но в сумме, я скорее с удовольствием поиграю в ремейк "той самой" и скорее буду доволен чем-то новым в этой игре, чем буду переигрывать во что-то старое но в свежей обертке. Так что лайк, жду релиза.

Я люблю эту игру. Просто так. Я жила в ней и живу ее духом до сих пор. Когда я заболела, то думала только о Ней целыми днями. Потому что я ее люблю очень сильно. Лучшая ламповая игра. Моя.
First of all, I want to note that I did not play the original Gothic 1. And as far as I understand, at the moment I’m writing this review, the Gothic 1 Remake hasn’t even been released yet. Therefore, this will be a review exclusively of the teaser, which I completed in full.
Well, I’d like to start with something positive. The story and the characters. The quests are interesting. There is some replayability, and your choices really do affect things in most cases, not all, but in most. This is done in a very interesting way, and I enjoyed it a lot.
BUT! The game is simply not polished. The optimization is terrible. Sometimes you have 60 FPS, and sometimes it drops to 30. And there wouldn’t even be any complaints if the game actually looked like it justified the resources it requires. But no, it looks terrible. And demands, more than games with RTX. So the question is: what exactly is eating up my performance here? Most likely, the game is simply not optimized.
Does this interfere with completing the game? Definitely. Does it make the game unplayable? No, it can be completed. And I even enjoyed myself, carefully reading the dialogues. So overall, I liked the teaser. But if the full game comes out in the same state as this teaser, I will play it only if it’s free, because I have no intention of paying any money for such an unpolished project.
