Имеющая серый и печальный вид стратегия - не обманывает. Она реально серая и печальная, но не стилем, а посредственными сражениями и бедным градостроем. Сюжет пытается выдавить из себя что-то притягательное, но персонажи какие? Верно - серые и печальные. Грустно.

Technisch läuft das Spiel einwandfrei. Ein Aufbaustrategiespiel für zwischendurch. Für mein Geschmack wird man zu früh angegriffen. Auch die Kameraführung lässt noch zu wünschen übrig. Die Steuerung ist Ok. Grafik ist schon gut. Nach Kruzer Zeit runter geflogen weil es mir einfach nur nicht zusagt. Wer Spaß an solchen Spielen hat macht hier aber nichts verkehrt, man kann sich ja vorher ein lets Play ansehen.

ich finde die Steuerung sehr schlecht. besonders die Kameraverschiebung ist extrem schlecht. Dann hat man schon bei der zweiten Mission kaum eine Chance, da man so oft und so schnell angegriffen wird, das man nichts dagegen machen kann.
Mir hat es jetzt nach nur wenig Spielzeit den Spaß schon verdorben.
Ich bin froh, das ich nicht wirklich viel Geld dafür bezahlt habe.
Kann das Spiel nicht empfehlen.

Il gioco può apparire intrigante ed effettivamente divertire per un breve periodo di tempo ma si avverte subito che bisogna considerarlo per quel che è: un gioco che osa ma senza riuscire a brillare. L'IA non costituisce una sfida, alcune meccaniche di gioco possono essere tranquillamente ignorate in favore di strategie più dirette ed efficaci, la giocabilità è terribile: spesso si lotta per selezionare le unità o anche solo raggrupparle. Carina l'idea di poter schierare eroi e unità con abilità uniche ma il bilanciamento lascia davvero a desiderare: giocando l'eroe del clan del corvo ci si spiana la strada con una semplicità disarmante. Magari essendo veterano del genere per me è tutto troppo già visto e soprattutto meglio realizzabile. L'ambientazione è ben riuscita ma la trama a fare da sfondo è banale e molto generica.

even though im enjoying Frozenheim the game just doesn't offer much for replayability.

MAPS:
the game is very limited for maps, having only one 8 player map.
there is generated maps you can make but even with bodys of water the AI will never build a shipyard, this makes sailing a pointless feature in the game and a waste of resources.
basically the game begs you to never build a shipyard.
Even on maps with a body of water once again everything is always connected by land so it is as said, pointless to waste resources on ships.

COMBAT:
Land combat is suffient enough even though you never need any tactics or thought in how to fight any situation, its more about who has more troops trained compared to who has best tactics.
Navy combat is really bad, even watching it makes your eye twitch at the low quality animation with units walking on water and just swinging a sword or axe at nothing to win the battle.

BUILDiNG:
Im not that experienced at speed runs just yet but i can basically build everything within 20-30 minutes into a game. you're also very limited to the space you can build around your hall without needing outposts.
outposts are also basically useless at least aganinst AI since youll never run out of any resource before a game end. id say the varienty of building isnt a city builder, it reminds me more of games like halo wars or age of empires, you just quickly build up and fight till games end.

FUN :
If you're going to play PVP i can see how this game can bring enough hours of enjoyment, if you're like me and interested in a solo experience youll find yourself feeling like there's nothing more to do or play pretty quickly.

IMO:

- if the devs would at least fix generated maps so AI with a water start would utilize ships that would be a huge improvment, i think this would involve ensuring generated maps have a water boarder so ships can travel around the outside of maps. generated maps can cause endless replay if ships can be used by AI.

- Ships need to be useful, once again going back to maps we need maps that have seperated islands or landmasses. why waste resources to sail a boat somewhere you can walk? since each ship can only hold 2-3 units it makes no sense to travel by ship, just march your army to the enemy.

i do enjoy this game, i plan to play some more.
But i can't give it a thumbs up review with how bare-bones the game feels.
If you do plan to play for co-op you may find the game more enjoyable since real players will challenge you with different playstyles.

进去玩了个教程，就瞬间不想玩了，特别看到有氏族那里就知道跟北境之地差不多，刚开始还以为是像以前有款老游戏文化3北国风云那样系统玩法，原来就是复刻北境之地，还不如直接玩北境之地，虽然是Q版，要是后面改进成文化3北国风云的系统玩法更有特色，毕竟像文化3北国风云的老游戏，没看到有复刻到核心玩法的，像北境之地就看到过好几款，要是像文化3北国风云的系统玩法发展那样很推荐，不然只是像北境之地的话，还不如直接玩北境之地，毕竟玩法已经成熟了
