He jugado ambas entregas y puedo decir que esta es muy superior a nivel rítmico y técnico, aunque ame las canciones del primer juego, al subir la dificultad no encontraba relación entre lo que escuchaba y lo que tocaba por lo que me incomodaba muchísimo, ahora las teclas están bien mapeadas y responden a sonidos de la música, como se la ingeniaron para introducir personajes contemporáneos me pareció muy divertido, altamente recomendada esta segunda entrega.

I did somewhat of a speedrun of this game. Played the first one years ago and realized I’m old now and fingers don’t move like they used to. I skipped all the cut scenes because it was an achievement, but the soundtrack is really catchy, and a couple are still in my head. Fun game.

Not much positive to say here. Both Frederic games are everything you don't want in a rhythm game. Besides the horrible story and even worse acting; the gameplay makes you want to hang yourself with a pianostring.
The lane and notes are a visual mess, timing is extremely loose and the tracks are repetitive and too long. What makes it even harder to recommend is that 'too easy' is what other games would consider (at least) hard mode. By the time you get into the groove with these games, you could've actually played a handful of good games and enjoyed your time.

First of all, the game principle appeals to me, these types of rhythm games are really cool and can get addictive pretty quickly.
But why I can't recommend it is that the controls are really bad, playing 4-5 notes per second is too crazy, I also tried it with a different layout, but it ended up the same.
It would be better to have an ASDF JKLÖ layout here, or two keys at the same time to play the semitones. Unfortunately, this is just a finger cramp.
Frederic: Evil Strikes Back is the sequel to the first Frederic: Resurrection of Music game. It is a rhythm game which has 4 difficulty levels, making it accessible for everyone of all skill levels. Although there are only 10 levels, the music was so refreshing and I liked the challenge that the hardest difficulty gave. Definitely do not attempt 100%ing this game as it will take you out, unless you are a masochist, which I definitely am. Recommended!
While this sequel is a minor improvement on the last one, I'd recommend it exactly the same.
This game swaps out its revamped OST for a score of inspired originals. Though I was disappointed in this change, I think this new score holds up on its own. Some songs, though, conflict with what I would have expected from their respective fighters.
A happy ABBA-inspired song from a Kiss-inspired band, a non-dubstep song after Genghis promises "Mongolian Dubstep" are a couple examples.
That aside, I found this game to ultimately be a more enjoyable playing experience than its predecessor.

Во второй части Шопен продолжает жить в нашем времени, но сталкивается с новой угрозой в музыке (коварные продюсеры).
Тут уже играем переработанные современные песни (Меркьюри, Майкл Джексон и др.)
Отдельное спасибо за монгольский трек. Песни звучат самобытно, но узнаваемо.
Минус только в том, что в отличии от первой части( где чем ниже выбранная сложность, тем меньше подается нот). Тут количество нот не меняется, а увеличивается штраф за ошибки. Моментами бесило.

操作非常拉跨，但是音乐真的好听
Удивительно классная игрулька, в которую я не умею играть.
По сути, вся игра - это квик-тайм ивенты, то бишь гитар хиро на минималках, где тебе нужно вовремя нажимать нужные кнопки. Короче, типикал ритм-игра. Так вот, к чему это я?
Я консольщик с головы до кончиков мизинцев на левой ноге и на геймпаде я эти ваши квик тайм ивенты делаю с закрытыми глазами, но здесь у тебя клавиатура (WER для чёрных нот, ASDF для белых) и я постоянно лажаю. Ноты летят слишком быстро, вовремя сориентироваться не получается и в итоге я сосу бибу по полной. Да, изначально я начал играть на "нормале" и это была фатальная ошибка.
В итоге, пересев на "изи", я прошёл игру без особого напряга всего за полтора часа (за ачивку за скип катсцен - респект разрабам) и испытал огромное удовольствие. Приятные сэмплы, прикольная стилистика и "музыкалити" на каждом уровне. Что ещё нужно для счастья? [spoiler]Наверное, только убрать ко всем ♥♥♥♥ уровень в Монголии, потому что это самое душное говно в игре и, как назло, самое длинное.[/spoiler]

Frederic: Evil Strikes Back is an older handheld (Nintendo Switch) game from 2014. It's a venerable 10 years old at the time of this review. It's been put on Steam as a bit of an afterthought, as it's very much designed for the handheld gaming audience, or even mobile apps, as it has many of the same (low) qualities.
It's a narrative driven rhtyhm/QTE game where you play a "piano" in time with prompts so (ideally) some music comes out... think of this as a dumbed down guitar hero game. I'm all for decent narrative in games, so long as the developer knows how to show interactively rather than just tell, which is not happening here.
On the upside, the game does feature customisable controls and resolution, so at least some of the basic, minimum requirements have been met. Unfortunately there's a number of other technical defects and shortcomings which contribute to the game being difficult to recommend to gamers.
The game is comprised of somewhat mediocre hand drawn 2D illustrations instead of professional looking 3D game assets. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget to arrange someone who can create graphical assets properly, or lack of talent. Regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is very low, beneath what PC gamers have come to expect in this era of cutting edge photorealistic 3D graphics. At least it's not pixel "art", but if you're looking for contemporary, immersive visuals, this game is a fail.
While there are options to change the resolution for the game, all this does is scale up the simplistic 2D art assets used to make the game, which makes little or no difference to the graphics quality. Without any other substantial graphics tweaks, it's not possible for gamers to improve the lacklustre 2D visuals.
Because this is designed for handheld/portable gaming appliances, it carries a number of deliberate design deficiencies. Compromises were made to cater to the low power handheld gaming appliances that the game was designed for. These are unfortunate compromises and limitations that PC gamers shouldn't be forced to accept, but it's evident that PC was a second thought for the mobile game developers. The game is deficient as a result of these choices, and would have been so much better without the handicaps that designing games for low power handhelds forces upon a game. While this might run well on a Steam Deck, we must remember the vast majority of gamers here are gaming on PC.
These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.
Frederic: Evil Strikes Back didn't appeal much to the people who own a copy of the game, either. It has achievements, and they show us a very clear picture that the game didn't really capture any interest from gamers. The most commonly and easily attained achievement is for completing the first level (Austria), trivial to get, but less than 13 percent of players bothered to get that far before uninstalling the game. Hardly a success story, gamers just weren't all that interested in the game.
Reviewing SteamDB to check how popular this game was with players reveals a surprise... there's a very healthy spike in player counts for the game. But this only happened once, and isn't consistent with the achievement stats, that show less than 13 percent of players bothered playing the game for any reasonable amount of time. How is it possible for this game to have so many concurrent players who didn't bother engaging with this game? Trading cards. People will use card idling software to collect the cards and sell them, but this won't trigger any achievements in-game.
That tells us people only really bought this game for trading cards, and that's a damning indictment of the woeful quality. A closer look at the numbers shows the game just has a couple of players every week running up the game and idling it for cards, then deleting it. We must ask how it benefits gamers for there to be so many games like this, with little merit as a serious game, that only generate sales from people idling and selling the trading cards.
So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 100,000+ games on Steam?
Frederic: Evil Strikes Back has the almost unethical price of around $8 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the sheer number of completely free, much higher quality games on Steam. For comparison, the $8 asking price for this game could get you games like "Mass Effect 2", "Borderlands 2" or "Euro Truck Simulator 2". Quality, professionally made games like those are frequently on sale cheaper than this.
Об этой игре (имею ввиду первую часть) я узнал примерно два года назад. Прошёл её полностью несколько раз на всех уровнях сложности на планшете. И эта часть выполнена полностью в духе первого Frederic: Resurrection of Music.
На сюжете долго останавливаться не буду, так как он тут довольно банален: мир Музыки вновь находится на грани уничтожения (сэмплирование артистов, передача должности композиторов бездушным машинам и так далее), а нам предстоит узнать, кто же стоит за всем этим злом и, конечно же, остановить его. Он есть, но он тут далеко не самая главная составляющая.
А вот графика, как и в первой части, прекрасна. И не детализированность и точность, нет, именно дизайн, цвета, нарисованные "от руки" модели и кат-сцены придают игре невероятный с точки зрения цветовой составляющей и композиции вид.
О музыке тут и говорить нечего: она восхитительна! Просто шикарна! Я был очень рад, вновь почувствовав мурашки, появившиеся на коже, когда впервые услышал композиции. И приятно, что OST (original soundtrack) уже первоначально входит в стоимость покупки. Лично я музыку из первой части покупал в iTunes, ведь, признаюсь, на просторах Интернета её не найти.
Теперь перейдём к главному - геймплею. И без того очень сложная игра стала ещё сложнее. Но, как говорится, можно "набить руку". Двойные, продолжительные, золотые, "нажимающиеся" ноты - теперь их стало больше! Это уж точно не даст игроку заскучать во время боя.
Итак, моя оценка - 9/10.
Я бы поставил все 10, но меня расстроили сюжет и баги, например, нельзя назначить для клавиш другие кнопки, хотя в настройках есть данная функция. Ну а сюжет уж слишком банален: побили одного, он сказал идти к следующему и так далее. В кульминационном моменте сценаристы пытались придать игре некоторую эпичность, но всё произошло как-то быстро и немного скомкано, что не может не расстроить. Но я верю, что разработчики так просто не сдадутся и у них всё обязательно получится. Порадуйте их и себя покупкой этой замечательной игры, вы не пожалеете!

One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.
Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.
With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.
After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.
Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.
Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.
Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.

- 매우 좁은 퍼펙트 판정, 그리고 무리한 도전과제 : 제일 쉬운 난이도나 제일 어려운 난이도나 판정에 차이가 없다. 그렇다고 후하냐? 하면 후하다고는 할 수 있는데, 100%는 결코 후하지 않다. 무척이나 좁은 판정을 가지고 있어서 연속해서 하기도 힘들다. 그런 주제에 'Impossibru'라고, 모든 노트를 100%로 해결하라는 도전과제가 있다. 캐주얼한 게임성에 비해 무척이나 빡빡한 판정이 겹쳐 도전과제는 달성하기 굉장히 어렵다.
- 짧은 음악이 없다 : 물론 스테이지가 10개라서 짧게 커팅하면 플레이 타임이 그만큼 적어지니까 이해는 할 수 있지만, 그것뿐이다. 여타 리듬게임들이 몰라서 풀 버전을 커팅해서 수록하는 게 아니다. 오래 곡이 지속될 수록 그에 대한 피로감 때문에 집중력이 흐트러진다.

어지간하면 도전과제를 모두 달성한 후에 평가를 내리는지라 도전과제만 좀 정상적으로 할 수 있는 수준이라거나, 쉬운 난이도에선 판정을 후하게 줬다면 그래도 긍정적으로 보고 추천을 하려고 했는데, 도저히 남에게 추천해줄만한 상태가 아닌 것 같다. 리듬게임에서 가장 중요한 판정선을 노트의 색으로만 구분해야 하는데다 그마저도 전체적인 판정만 후할 뿐 100%는 타 리듬게임에 비해도 납득하기 어려울 정도로 좁기 때문에, 도전과제 하나는 달성이 매우 어렵다. 해보려다가도 곡의 길이 때문에 압박감도 심하니 완벽주의자들은 손대지 말자. 이것 말고도 할만한 리듬게임은 스팀에 널렸다.

Es un guitar hero simplificado con una historia simplificada. Me parece una propuesta interesante, dentro de todo es relativamente divertido por lo bizarro que es, lindos graficos, buena musica, jugabilidad pasable, tiene logros y cromos y marcadores.
7.5/10 - Si te gusta el genero y/o queres probar al nuevo, este juego es para vos - No hay workshop (seria ideal para crear canciones y pistas de notas para tocar, pero bueno, no lo tiene igual que el pump it up o los guitar hero que jugue)

Gra jest zdecydowanie lepsza od jedynki. Już tłumaczę, dlaczego....
Grafika nie wygląda już, jak z lat 90. XX wieku, tylko faktycznie ma swój charakterystyczny klimat. No, oprócz tego, jak wygląda Freddie Mercury, co jest dla mnie po prostu szokiem - tak, jest aż tak źle, niestety. Oprócz tego jest świetnie! Chętnie zobaczyłbym animację na podstawie tej gry, rzecz jasna z tą kreską!
Muzyka jest mniej obciachowa, niż w jedynce. W końcu to brzmi i nie rani uszu. Wiadomo jednak, że są gusta i guściki - dla mnie może być bomba, dla kogoś innego dramat.
Sterowanie... Hm, odrobinę lepsze, przyjaźniejsze, niż w jedynce (może wolniej leciały nutki?), ale i tak - znowu - odbiłem się przez nie od tytułu. No cóż, to nie gra na moje palce, niestety.
Plusem jest język polski... i wiele innych języków. Chyba twórcy posłuchali komentarzy po wydaniu jedynki, kiedy to ludzie często zwracali uwagę na brak lokalizacji.
Gra na plus, chociaż zdecydowanie nie dla mnie. Ktoś inny, lubiący katować przyciski (i siebie?), zapewne będzie czuł spełnienie.

Trama: Esiste una trama ma non l'ho seguita perché semplicemente stupida. Fine.
Grafica e Sonoro: Grafica non brutta ma questo stile non mi piace. Le canzoni proposte sono quasi tutte buone.
Complessivamente:
Non sono un amante del genere e mi sono avvicinato per puro caso. Trovo scomoda la tastiera. Non ho molto da dire, ho giocato il primo e questo è pressoché identico. Una trama stupida e canzoni buone. Questo è un altro gioco che merita due stelle su cinque. I pollici non bastano, semplificano troppo.

프레데릭 레저렉션 오브 뮤직의 2편 격인 게임입니다.
이젠 쇼팽이 아니고 이도저도 아니게 된 것 같은데 그러려니 하고 넘어가야하나 고민됩니다.
이번에는 쇼팽이 작곡한 음악이 아니라
(쇼팽의 음악인데 너무 편곡이 씨게되어서 제가 음악을 못 알아먹는걸수도 있습니다.)
프레디 머큐리나 마이클 잭슨,레이디 가가와 같은 세계적인 가수의 히트곡을 오마쥬한 음악으로 배틀을 하게 됩니다.
이게 또 웃긴게 캐릭터들의 성우 녹음도 가수들이랑 비슷하게 해서 웃긴 점은 있었는데 그게 다입니다.
키설정도 할 수 있고 편곡 스타일의 음악도 다 좋긴한데
노트 빙글거리면서 내려오는 거랑 애매한 판정 좀 어떻게 해주면 좋겠습니다.
참 답답한게 판정이 넓은건지 좁은건지를 모르겠네요.
굳이 따지면 판정 miss 부분까지 캐치를 해서 노트가 연속으로 들어오게 되는 파트의 경우
앞에 잠깐 놓친 노트를 먼저 인식을해서 전부 밀리게되는 적이 한 두번이 아닙니다.
그게 싫다면 뭐..
그 빙글빙글 돌아가면서 내려오는 노트를 하나도 안 틀리고 연속으로 계속 쳐야죠 뭐..
그림과 음악은 쌈마이한 매력이 있어서 좋았습니다만
리듬게임으로서의 매력은 많이 부족하다고 느낍니다.. ㅜ
