Mon dieu que c'est usant, jusqu'à l'agacement même. Des cinématique à n'en plus finir, un scénario linéaire à mourir d'ennui. Mais ou est le FF7 avec un monde libre et vaste ? C'est beau mais ça ne va pas plus loin. J'en suis même écoeuré pour les dev de zapper les cinématiques à rallonge. Les combats sont meme quasi automatique une fois les anneaux mis (esquive auto, combos auto, soins auto). En gros c'est un jeu "Auto". Perso aucun intérêt. Bon courage aux autres

история крутая, спору нет. Но геймплей такое гавно, что у меня ♥♥♥♥♥ от зевоты чуть не треснуло. Если вы купили эту "игру" то выбирайте сюжетный режим и идите чисто по сюжетке, лутать по пути ничего смысла нет, сайды смысла делать тоже нет. Рекомендую посмотреть игрофильм чисто с сюжетом со скипом всех "игровых" активностей

I'm really enjoying this Final Fantasy. I didn't really like XV so I was cautious about this one. The fight mechanics can be extremely simple if you want they have a buffer you can set that automatically does combos for you, but that was a little too simple. I like working up my own combos. It does get a little repetitive in the middle, but the story carries it along until things pic up again.

ストーリーは可も無し不可も無し
お話の内容はネタバレだから詳しくは触れないけど、意外性は無いけど悪くない出来だと思う
個人的に捻り過ぎた話は好きじゃない
こればっかりは個人の好みだから評価にはあんまり影響させてない

ムービーゲーだね
ムービーゲーなのは最初からわかってる話だし、寧ろムービー部分を削られたら何のためのFFかわからんし
この部分は期待通りだった
ここが一番の高評価ポイントなので映画を倍速で見るようなタイプの人にはお勧めできない

戦闘は微妙
派手なエフェクトで見てて楽しくはあるけど、達成感のある難易度では無かった
難し過ぎて進められない様だとイライラするけど、あまりにも簡単だと作業感が出るかも
一応高難度モードみたいなのはあるがやらなかった
ギリ高評価寄り

攻略サイトとか見る必要性ゼロのわかりやすさ
これも高評価ポイント
戦闘が簡単なのもそうだけど、このアイテムは何処にあるんだー！みたいな悩みも一切発生しない
ただし、普通は気付かないような隠し要素を発見したぞ！みたいな喜びもほぼ無い

不満点もある
ボス戦とかで戦闘中にカットシーンが入る時があるんだけど、そのカットシーン中にちょっとした操作を求められることがある
これが要らん

あと召喚獣バトルも要らん
いや、あってもいいけど一部の召喚獣バトルは長くてダレた
難易度が低くて時間がかかるアクションゲームってダレるのよ
召喚獣バトルの部分を全部カットシーンにしてくれてたら更に高評価だったかも

移動や探索も低評価ポイント
フィールドが広いけど探索する意味は薄い
目的地まで直進するだけでもゲームの進行上問題は無い
操作キャラが歩き出してから全力疾走し始めるまでの間が長い
チョコボを呼び出すのにボタン長押しして、歩いて近づいてくるチョコボに話しかけて乗る、という手間が長い
せめて長押ししたらそのまま乗ってくれ
よほどの長距離をモンスターを無視して走り抜けようというのでなければチョコボを呼んでる間に走った方が早いのでは？

あとモブハントボードの内容を出先でも見れるようにして欲しかった
いちいちスクショしてたよ

不満要素の方が細かく書けてしまうのは何故だろう
でも本当に概ね高評価なのよ

まとめると、割と良く出来たCGドラマの合間にちょっとしたゲームが挟まってるって感じ

私はFF7でCGムービー大好き人間になったので、8以降のFFに一番求めているのはこの部分がどれだけ派手で迫力があるか
そういう意味では当然歴代で一番良く出来ている

I REALLY enjoyed this. I am a casual MSQ enjoyer and the story hooked me early on and kept me interested throughout. The characters are interesting, the english VO is superb (which surprised me!), the cutscenes gorgeous (and the in-game environments are beautiful as well). I took so many screenshots whilst playing through this game.

It is quite linear, cutscene heavy and light on the hands on party management / levelling stats side of things that you might expect from other Final Fantasy titles. This lack of variety and depth may prove a distraction, if not a complete dealbreaker for some, so take that into consideration early on if the story is not doing it for you. The story is what really carries this game, and the filler and bits in-between can be rather spartan. I do think the main plot could have been 5-10 hours shorter, without any loss of impact, but that was my only real gripe.

Having said that, nothing put me off the game entirely. It is its own title, with it's own fantastic story, and in the format they packaged it in, though possibly controversial, worked incredibly well for me. It was a pleasure to play through, casual friendly, and up there amongst the most impactful and mature FF stories in my opinion. Time to go lie down and recover.

huge fan of final fantasy but this one is not it... its a singleplayer game with quest design that can be found in MMOs. extremely padded and drawn out for no reason with boring filler content. in roughly 40 hours there was maybe a handful of set pieces (specifically one eikon encounter especially) that are amazing and really worth the play but the rest of the game is just extremely stale after a few hours. the story is pretty predictable and nothing crazy. the ending, whilst being beautiful is also very forced and somewhat unnecessary. game plays extremely slow and combat gets very repetitive after few hours. the story is painfully slow to get through because they drag it out with creating unnecessary detours or problems that are only their to be meant as filler, which makes it insufferable at times to play.

as for dlcs; the omega dlc is amazing and the final boss fight is probably one of the best in the entire game.
the leviathan dlc was rather mid and suffers from similar issues as the main game.

overall maybe a 4/10

Le jeu est très bien niveau histoire et gameplay, mais ABSOLUMENT catastrophique sur l'optimisation. J'ai passé des heures à essayer de régler tout les problèmes en passant par des mods, par le panneau de configuration nvidia et en utilisant l'IA, le jeu est fluide à 95% en 60 FPS mais il reste toujours le problème majeur des micro freezes constant qui sont impossibles à retirer. Square Enix ne sorte plus de MAJ depuis 1 an du coup impossible d'avoir un jeu fini.

Je ne recommande PAS DU TOUT de le faire sur PC

57 hours in and yeah… this game is solid.

Story actually pulls you in, characters feel real, and the boss fights are crazy like full movie moments. Combat is smooth once you get it, feels good chaining abilities.

Not perfect though side quests can get repetitive and it’s not the old school Final Fantasy style.
But overall, it delivers where it matters.

I recommend it.

I’ve been playing this series since 1992, so I came into this with a lot of history—and honestly, I was pleasantly surprised.

Yes, the shift in genre is real. This is much more of an action game than a traditional RPG, and I know that’s been controversial. But if you’re willing to meet it halfway, there’s a lot here to appreciate. The combat feels responsive, cinematic, and satisfying, even if it sacrifices some of the strategic depth older entries had.

Where the game truly shines is in its tone and characters. For the first time in a long while, the cast actually feels like a group of adults dealing with real consequences. The writing is more grounded, the relationships are more believable, and the overall narrative carries a weight that’s been missing from the series for years. The villain, in particular, stands out—interesting, thematically relevant, and more than just a generic evil presence.

That said, the ending is where things fall apart for me. My issue isn’t that it’s dark—it’s that it feels intentionally left open-ended in a way that clashes with where the story was clearly heading. After investing so much in its themes and character arcs, the game pulls back at the last moment, resulting in an outcome that feels unnecessarily bleak rather than meaningful. A depressing ending isn’t inherently deep, and here it comes across more as evasive than impactful.

Overall, this is a bold and, in many ways, successful evolution of the series. It’s not perfect, and longtime fans may still feel the loss of classic RPG elements, but it delivers a mature, engaging story and strong character work.

If you’re open to change, it’s absolutely worth your time.

The way I see it, there are three reasons some people dislike this game.

1. They have extremely high expectations going into it
2. They compare it to other final fantasy games
3. They can't overlook small flaws

For me personally, none of these were a problem. The biggest thing imo is to appreciate what the game DOES do, and not have any kind of expectations at the start. That being said, ff16 is one of my all time favorites. The story is phenomenal, the boss fights are peak, the graphics are stunning, and the cinematic moments that happen (especially with the eikons) are unlike anything I've seen before in a video game. There's some fetch quests but they aren't really required, and the gameplay is actually more unique than you might think. Messing around with different abilities is a lot of fun and there is a good amount of customization that you can do to make combat less stale.

Overall the game is great, and I would recommend it to literally anyone. 9.5/10

Pretty good story, enjoyable gameplay and good graphics. The most memorable parts were the cinematic bossfights, which were very cool to play.
The game is pretty linear and has a lot of QoL (for example you can use up all the rare resources for crafting, as long as you do not sell old gear, you will always have enough to craft every piece of gear).
Conclusion: For those seeking a cinematic linear RPG I can definitely recommend this title.

Im not really sure what to say..I like the game dont get me wrong, the story is great but when is Final Fantasy ever lacking in story? The combat is fun, action rpg esk and its flashy, some big epic fights that I don't want to spoil for those that want to purchase the game. I never had a bad time playing ffXVI, mind you the start was hard because it was a 10 minute story cutscene, walk 5 steps into another for the first few hours. The quests were very shallow, especially the side ones. There was maybe half a dozen that really felt engaging, rewarding. This would have been a good game if it didn't have the FF title. Not worth the orginal price, not worth even the huge discount I got recently on the sale. Aside story this isn't a ff game, we are straying farther and farther from the roots that made me fall in love with this franchise but maybe..Its just me and the older crowd that grew up with it, maybe its taken a turn and newer consumers enjoy it. My favorite FF games are FF10 and FF12 both widely fought after as being the worst ones of the series and some die hard fans. So perhaps my opnion is invalid right off that alone. I wish the combat was more skilled than button mashing, more indepth and layered. I wish the choices made had real impact, I wish the progression wasnt so linear, I wish the hunts were like in FF 12, I wish when you had the choice with the branded that you couldve built up the hideway in choices you make, not story set progression. It just feels like you can press the attack button down, even on the "combat difficulty" and watch the game play itself, and with the custscenes it's like a movie. An animated visual novel with sup par combat in terms of a FF game.

There’s a lot of dialogue, but it’s classic Final Fantasy. If you complete all the hunts and side quests to improve your character, the game rewards you. This experience has been enjoyable from start to finish. I purchased all the DLCs to get the full experience, and it was fun enough to give me a break before the endgame content. It was very gratifying overall. The only issue I encountered was a common bug related to video cards, which caused occasional stuttering or "freezing." The fix is simple: just verify the game files, and poof, the problem is solved!

While not the best Final Fantasy this is still a good time. You can tell they were inspired by Devil May Cry in areas of the game. If it goes on sale under 30 dollars it's a solid grab anything more and you maybe be getting ripped off unless you get it with the dlc.

不愧是最终幻想，真的很好玩！人物都是我喜欢的审美，环境唯美，战斗华丽，BOSS战更是我玩过的最最最巅峰的热血战斗！唯一的缺陷就是RPG的探索和成长部分弱了很多：路上和打怪捡到的东西，超过90%都是没用的，锻造的东西也是绝大部分都没有主线剧情发的装备好，让人根本提不起探索的热情。再加上迷宫只有一条路，几乎毫无分叉，感觉像ARPG更多些。。。还算游戏里提供了自动战斗和自动回避，如果是像我一样的手残党，开了之后只用点点点就可以通关了^_^

Man, Final Fantasy really has just sucked for a long time, hasn't it? A lot of people over the years have outlined the main bad things about this game: any "RPG" aspect to the game is superficial, it's just a pure button-mashing action game; the setting and world doesn't feel as lore-deep as some of the other FF games; virtually all side quests are boring and pointless wastes of time meant only to pad gameplay time; combat, while can look cool with the Eikon battles, isn't actually that deep, is repetitive, and gets boring after awhile; areas feel poorly designed and stretched out just to fill them with more enemies. The dialogue and cutscenes are too long and too frequent, again only serving the purpose of padding gameplay time. I genuinely feel like this 40-some hour game is only filled with a fraction of that of actual gameplay.

On the plus side, I think the characters are decent, and the story is fairly good. This would have been better as some kind of short anime or an anime movie than a game. Decent story and characters, but kind of crappy as an actual game. If you like FF and can nab it on a good sale, I guess there's no harm in picking it up, but I'd never suggest getting it without a discount. It's not worth it.

[h3]Good Action Game, Bad Fantasy Story[/h3]

This is going to be hard to write about from multiple perspectives but fundamentally the game's combat system hits a sweet spot of a hack-and-slash (air juggles, combos, dodges and parries) and traditional MMO (character stats, skill builds and cooldowns) combat system that feels really good to play and experiment. Specifically, I love how the game's flexibility made me rethink and lab my air launchers, crowd control options, stagger and damage combos whenever new skills are unlocked although I can see more casual players being overwhelmed. On the other hand, the attempted mature story and setting feels lacks subtlety and depth where prior games in the series have done such a better job while respecting its audience intelligence. As a game in the series, its attempt to pivot towards a solo action-based combat while retaining its traditional grand scale narrative about the collective (party-based) will of humanity did not work. As a product, I can easily recommend this game on its combat system alone; however as a fan, this is so disappointing in many many ways

This will be a long piece starting from its best aspect: the combat system. While on the surface it looks like a modern hack-and-slash combat system, the three stance each with two skills offers its own flavor that encourages meaningful player expression and the sweet spot for mechanical dexterity and complexity. Perhaps inspired by [i]Devil May Cry[/i], having parry be a timed strike both as a higher risk/reward option but above all reducing skill cooldowns is surprisingly a good fit even if I am not a fan of cooldowns. As a charge mechanic enjoyer, I also love how charge buffering and pet assist works quite fluidly. An underrated aspect is how detailed the skill descriptions are with some of its interactions and nuances aside from how easy it is to respec builds. Overall, mastering how to swap stances and skills fluidly while dealing massive damage feels so rewarding and stylish.

However, it is the RPG elements that feels like baggage. While generic levels are okay as a form of progression, why this game still has attributes like STR, VIT, WIL that the player cannot manipulate meaningfully with equipment where badge/charm systems fit much better which this game does but not early enough. Equipment upgrades devolve into higher numbers without any tradeoffs or considerations which is simple and fine but boring and a downgrade to its contemporaries. Thankfully, grinding for levels and materials did not feel required as long although the economy seems to be too plenty where I hardly struggle to pay or craft anything. I can say without qualification that I like limited potion inventory and slots so fights cannot be cheesed with how much the game gives. Lastly while damage numbers during combat can be displayed for clarity, it should not have it in cutscenes or quick time events specially the very last one as it ruins immersion. In a way, its RPG aspect does not make sense here as if to cater more to fans without adding value.

The big cinematic monster fights are cool but I don't think it meshes well here. First, it reduces your combat options for what amounts to a unskippable cinematic setpiece. Second, the power scale is so ambiguous that it ruins the roleplay or stakes. Third, the fixed camera framing is very much appreciated but at the cost of visual clarity not helped by how much effects are also on screen. Last, I do have to credit how the quick time events mostly make sense but it is so lenient and sometimes doesn't have a fail state to feel part of the game. The only incentive I do them is to begudgingly progress although watching them fail is a morbid curiosity I partake out of boredom. If there is a separate customization or challenges for the monster fights, then I could be on board but as it stands I want to get back to doing my max damage stagger combos than this watered down mess.

For level design though, I think it is mediocre with a lot of flat open areas rarely having to consider the fight space except for the occasional corner where I pull like a MMO tank so I can group enemies up. No platforming, covers, hazards or anything to spice up the arena. Navigational conveyance or finding how to proceed is not good as well with so much details and noise that the game has a button to tell you where to go and obvious arrows considering most sections are linear with slight branches. For exploration, it seems boring or forgettable in terms of design and aesthetics where the cutscenes tease so much diverse locations. I just did not feel any visual joy or pleasure with any of the environments and the fact you return to them for side quests where bespoke linear corridors would be my preference.

Speaking about the side quests, most of them feel mediocre where you talk to a quest giver, go to a place, do a fight or pickup items and return to the quest giver which I know is a problem with so many games. More so the problem is the quality (mostly bland) and quantity (a bit many) of them where even the most mundane tasks can be redeemed or made memorable with a twist, character development or thought provoking ideas considering slavery is a main theme. The experience it gives is tedium and ruins pacing even if you do engage with the writing excluding the load times. I do like the quest chains though seeing how people slowly open themselves up that make them endearing and worth the effort on their own. Strangely it is the late game quests that are interesting but make the early game a slog to get through. The one thing I hate though with this modern design are quest markers where there is rarely any sense of ambiguity, discovery or exploration which makes the game less interesting. Nonetheless, I feel the side quests are a missed opportunity.

About the enemy design though, I wish enemies were more aggressive since they mostly just feel like fodder. The only real challenge comes from enemies with a stagger bar but at the same time those enemies cannot be juggled meaning grounded stagger and skill combos are more important than the more technical and stylish air combos. Enemy stagger in principle is fine where enemies are vulnerable for a few seconds but this leads to cooldown spamming for these moments which can get old very quickly. These enemies as well are not really that complex or dynamic but of course the boss fights do still standout for their difficulty and as a set pieces. Also considering the optional monster hunts are mostly reused enemies without only a few additional moves is not helping the case. Even on the harder difficulty mode, they just do more damage and have more health which made the game not worth replaying since I will just always do my max damage combos and nothing else.

Before talking about the story and characters, I really feel this game should have been a standard linear action game with a more straightforward skill pacing because of the prior issues. One criticism is indeed how many hours it takes to acquire each skill set leading to stagnation and is a definite pacing issue. The base game not being difficult enough exemplifies this issue where players are not forced to change or tweak their loadout. I wish a hard mode was available in the beginning but I am aware it is balanced with your whole loadout unlocked. There isn't even a scoring system to incentivize stylish play although it was tweaked around cooldown spamming sadly. Despite its flaws, the combat system is a really fun foundation that carries the game and could probably be improved on future iterations.

Este juego empieza como si te hubieras tomado 4 latas de monster con 7 pastillas de cafeína. La historia esta guay, decae un poco en mitad-final de juego pero en ese punto ya estás dentro, ya sea por el combate que es vistoso y divertido o porque los dominantes y jugar con las invocaciones está duro de cojones. Gostei, a gameplay lembra bastante Tales of Arise, um espetáculo visual e bom equilíbrio entre mecânicas RPG e ação.
Jogando com geração de quadros DLAA no ultra. A resolução nativa em 1080p desse jogo sofre um pouco pra manter 60 frames estáveis em áreas com muitos NPC se tua placa de video nao for parruda, mas o DLSS serve de muleta pra manter os 60. Recomendo!

Pro.:
Es hat eine super grafik und die Kämpfe sind grade bei den Bosskämpfen doch sehr abwechslungsreich! Man muss schon etwas überlegen wie man was zeitlich genau hinbekommt.
Landschaft finde ich einfach atemberaubend!
Story ist für meine geschmack wirklich sehr geil gemacht und grade was die Esper angeht.

Neutral.:
Die normalen kämpfe könnten etwas abwechslungsreicher sein aber evtl ändert sich dass noch wenn ich weiter gekommen bin.
Man hat nicht grade viel inventarplatz was tränke angeht aber dass gleicht sich dadurch wieder aus dass man immer unterwegs wieder welche findet aber könnte doch etwas mehr sein als nur 4 tränke ^^

Kontra.:
Die Gespräche von Clive und manchen anderen Charackteren wirken irgendwie so lang gezogen... Es wird was gesprochen und dann ne sekunde pause und dann geht es erst weiter. Mit untertitel is es irgendwie die hölle xDDD
Man findet oft die selben Materialien... Auch wenn man sie braucht wäre es gut gewesen wenn die auch etwas abwechslunsreicher wären.

Im großen und ganzen find ich es aber dennoch gelungen und ich freue mich es weiter zu spielen und zu schauen wie es weiter geht!

Endlich kehr Final Fantasy wieder zu seinen stärken zurück. Eine großartig inzenierte Hauptstory, viel bombast und viel melancholie. Viele meienr Hauptkritikpunkte zum direkten Vorgänger wurden ausgemerzt. Hier und da ist man vielleicht etwas zu weit in die andere Richtung umgeschlagen, so fühlt sich die Welt teils wenig interaktiv an und das Rollenspielsystem ist etwas flach aber alles in allem hat sich Square mit FF16 wirklich etwas getraut. Für mich definitiv der beste der der jüngeren FF Vergangenheit.

My opinion:
If you're ready to have a bunch of cutscene after cutscene after cutscene, then this game is probably for you. I usually like games that have cutscene and explain the lore of the game, but this is a bit too much for my taste.
I've kind of unfortunately lost the energy to watch every cutscene.

Combat is still okay, the graphics and the world are incredibly beautiful I think, so you should give them that.

It was probably lucky that I bought this game on sale, wouldn't have been so happy with paying full price for a game where 90% is cutscene.

First off, this is the my first Final Fantasy experience. The graphics and visuals are amazing in cutscenes, which are many. The story is compelling but... the main storyline gets interrupted with fetch quests for non-essential main storylines. This really drags down the overall compelling urgency of the main storyline and it becomes a slog in the middle. Many of these "tasks" would have been handled through Otto, your resident manager, with the exception of those 1 or 2 that required you to kill a resident monster. Some of the boss fights get long and predictable and you have to repeat some bosses over and over and over, looking at you Mr. B. Enjoy.

Having played FF7 and FF10 before this, I was a little skeptical. You see, I wasn't the biggest fan of those 2 games personally. I dropped FF7 halfway through, and though I did finish FF10, it felt more like a chore than actual enjoyment. So when I heard FF16 had mixed reviews among the community, I became a bit apprehensive of it. But if playing this game's taught me anything, it's to never believe other people's opinions 100%, and always try everything for yourself.

[b]Pros:[/b]
- [i]Combat[/i] - Final Fantasy boomers would have you believe that FF16's gameplay was terrible, and that Square Enix screwed it all up by leaving their trademark turn-based combat in the past. Well I disagree. I've played a lot of turn based games, and loved most of them, and yet I found this game's combat system amazing. It's very reminiscent of DMC, which makes sense, seeing as the Combat Director, Ryota Suzuki, was also the game designer on DMC5. Other than the fast-paced and gripping action that comes with the combat, the system also excels at providing a wide variety of abilities, so that each player can find their own unique playstyle.
- [i]Graphics & Cutscenes[/i] - Not much to say here, other than the fact that the game's graphics, especially in the cutscenes were absolutely stunning, and boy was there a lot of cutscenes. The game has approximately 11 hours of them, so if you're not the type of gamer to enjoy that, you may find it off-putting, but I sure am that type of gamer!
- [i]Boss Fights[/i] - Building on the combat and cutscenes, I have to say that this game's main boss fights are probably the greatest out of any game I've ever seen. The pure enjoyment I got from playing and watching the absolute cinema that were the boss fights was indescribable, and I don't know if I'll ever see anything like that again. Maybe in FF17. Even the normal smaller bosses from side quests or hunts were still extremely enjoyable, albeit not as cinematic of course.
- [i]Characters[/i] - While I don't think the characters were absolutely amazing, they did their job and were entertaining and intriguing enough to keep you hooked, and interested in their own personal stories.
- [i]Music & Sound[/i] - I think there's hardly a need to explain this point. Just listen to literally any song from the game's OST. Masayoshi Soken is a genius. And the voice acting as well as the sound design are perfect too.
- [i]World Design & Side Content[/i] - Understandably, a lot of people dislike linear games. I, for one, enjoy them. For a large part, that's exactly what FF16 is, and I think it is excecuted superbly. But then you also get the side content, and specifically I wanna talk about the side quests. In many games, I usually dread doing side quests, often avoiding them entirely. Yet in FF16, I have completed all 87 (76 base game + 11 in DLCs) side quests, and have no regrets about it. The side quests add so much background and personality to the world and all of its characters, that I honestly can't imagine playing through the story without them. Some of them even give you cool additional things, like a mount to ride on, or better equipment. And a couple of them even have great and touching self-contained mini-stories that genuinely made my eyes water. For me, this game definitely ranks at least top 3 in best side quests among all the games I've played.

But of course, FF16 has its flaws too.

[b]Cons:[/b]
- [i]Writing & Pacing[/i] - What started off as a JRPG take on a Game of Thrones-like story turned into yet another "we need to kill a god" tale. Personally I enjoyed all of the story, but I can't deny the fact that it feels like the writing got worse in some aspects as the game progressed. Killing off the best written and most entertaining character in the game after only about 10 hours certainly didn't help with that (I am still pissed you know who died so early, even though I understand it).
- [i]Visual Problems[/i] - This has been mentioned by many other reviewers, but the PC port isn't optimized perfectly and so FPS drops, occasional jittering, or even cutscenes not loading immediately and showing a black screen for a few seconds are all things that happened to me throughout my playthrough. Thankfully, unlike in the case of other players' experience, my problems weren't that bad, only slightly annoying.

[b]Verdict:[/b]
As controversial as this opinion may be, FF16 was by far my favorite game of the franchise. Granted, I've only played 7 and 10, but seeing as they are generally considered the 2 best ones, I think it's a fair comparison. Other players may not like this game as much, and even hate it, but I frankly don't care. I found it to be a very enjoyable experience, and am quite sad it's over. Fingers crossed we get FF17 done in a similar style.

Epique tout du long, je conseil les yeux fermer. Fan des Final Fantasy ou non le jeu est vraiment fou, on en prend plein les yeux du début à la fin. Le 2éme DLC echoes of the fallen est un peu en dessous, mais fait le taf quand même.
Le jeu est optimisé. Absolument magnifique. Un régale Des combats monstrueux et dynamique. Je n'ai pas senti de répétitivité spécifique ça change pour des longs jeux comme celui la.

I bought the game because it was on sale and I thought it would be like FF 7 (it's not). I'm not a huge fan of how the fighting and party system work, but my main issue is that I'm 11 hours into the game and I feel like I have spent half of it in cutscenes. I don't think it's a bad game, I just wish I had refunded it before I went over 2 hours.

Final Fantasy XVI es una obra maestra; es sin ninguna duda de los mejores Final Fantasy que se han hecho; el protagonista de esta historia es de los mejores personajes principales de los videojuegos; a nivel artístico es muy bonito, a nivel técnico para mi es un port justo, a nivel de animaciones igual me parece lo mas flojo, ya que le faltaron animaciones para cada accion y personaje; a nivel visual en las cinemáticas framerate bloqueado a 30 fps pero el juego en si con framerate desbloqueado, juego que se introducen las tecnologías de generación de cuadros, por cierto en mi caso usar el generador de frames de AMD me funciono perfecto, mucho mejor que NVIDIA.

Para mi este Final Fantasy es perfecto para cualquiera que se quiera iniciar en esta maravillosa saga; cuenta con un gameplay entretenido, sumamente divertido; es un hack and slash visualmente espectacular, habilidades únicas, podrás transformarte en criaturas míticas de la saga, oh si hablo de los Eikons, GF, Invocaciones, materias, como los conozcas; es espectacular, transmite muchísima personalidad este juego.

Hablemos un poco de la historia; este mundo de FF 16, me pareció muy interesante; el concepto principal de este juego es; La libertad; nos presentaran historias secundarias en donde se desarrollara la libertad de este mundo y abordara la trama principal; sin entrar en spoilers este juego te habla de la discriminación y esclavitud de sus habitantes, por poseer dones que facilitan el día a día de los habitantes; un mundo en donde la magia significo una revolución industrial; esos pobres ciudadanos y personas por tener ese don, primero son marcados y luego son esclavizados, vendidos a la nobleza para facilitar las tareas, quehaceres del hogar, comida, trabajar en la tierra, todo lo que se necesite en el día a día; son presos de su destino, por sobre eso son marcados para que todos sepan que eres "especial"; es una trama sumamente pesada, en donde cada misión secundaria desarrolla este fabuloso mundo.

En el juego te presentan 7 reinos sino estoy mal; cada reino lucha por hacerse de cristales que son los que te permiten hacer magia, ya sea a traves de la venta de cristales pequeños sino cuentan con esclavos; ya que son mas abundantes y mas baratos que un esclavo, e inclusive puedes generar magia inagotablemente; en cambio un esclavo al usar mucha magia puede morir; por lo tanto los reinos luchan por defender y por hacerse de mas territorio; vamos al estilo de Juego de tronos; es maravilloso.

El villano de este juego, no resulta ser tan bueno a mi criterio, sin embargo es un buen villano, el cual te explica la razon de tu existencia, de tus poderes, su objetivo; lo deja en total claridad y el combate final es TOP de combates.

Este juego cuenta con personajes secundarios excelentes, personajes secundarios que los conoces como NPCs randoms, pero que tienen una historia que contarte y tu decidirás si hacerla o no; yo te recomiendo encarecidamente que las hagas; a parte que completar misiones secundarias te recompensaran muy bien por hacerlas, como expandir inventario, desbloquear monstruos secretos, items especiales para fabricar armas de buen nivel; etc.

La banda sonora de este juego es simple y sencillamente ARTE; que pedazo de banda sonora, wow, por favor tomarte un momento para escucharla, transmite todo lo que este juego representa; ; LIBERTAD.

Para mi Final Fantasy como saga es lo mejor de los videojuegos; es para mi gusto la mejor saga de videojuegos; historias fascinantes, altos y bajos, pero cada juego tiene el concepto de final fantasy y este 16 no es la excepción, es un máximo exponente; el final de este juego es maravilloso, me quebró...
Es una obra de arte; es un GOTY.

llevo 40 horas y puedo decir que el juego va aumentando su calidad durante el transcurso del mismo. Me esta sorprendiendo, pese a que por ahora tengo 1 solo personaje para manejar. (no se si habra mas) cosa atipica en los FF. Lo recomiendo para todos los que les gusten los RPG, es bastante entretenido y la dinamica de las batallas estan buenas, podes alternar los poderes super rapido y ejecutar combos interesantes!

This game is an amazing spectacle with a great story and memorable characters. Overall, I would recommend it despite a few issues.

Positives:
- The writing is excellent throughout most of the game and I was genuinely invested in the characters and the ending when I got there.
- The voice acting is brilliant and really brings the characters to life.
- The Eikon battles are also a real highlight. They look incredible and really capture the spectacle of basically two Gods fighting.
- The music is amazing and gets even better in the dlcs.
- It generally looks great. The art direction is very well done.
- The side quests were surprisingly well written too. I really liked a lot of the supporting cast.
- I liked the flexibility of the Eikon abilities. There is a large variety of skills/builds to try out.
- Really impressive load times in the sense that there basically isn't any.
- Some cool QOL features as well like fast travel to turn in a quest and you can reset ability points for free.
- I also really enjoyed the state of the realm system where you could see the effect your actions were having as well as learn more about the characters you are interacting with.
- Uncle Byron.

Mixed:
- The combat looks really flashy and dramatic but I think it looks cooler than it actually plays for the majority of the game. The last couple of Eikons made me enjoy it a lot more though.

Negatives:
- Obligatory stuttering in a PC port. It mostly happened in the open levels. I didn't really have any during combat.
- The open levels feel a bit pointless. There's basically no rewards for exploring them and they feel very empty (this is better in the dlcs).
- Sometimes they kill the pacing of the story by throwing in these completely random MMO fetch quests for 30 minutes. It just felt like filler.
- I would've preferred if the party members did more in combat or we could have some interactions with them while fighting. They cast some spells but they largely just stand around and you don't really notice them.
- Crafting is in the game but it basically amounts to stat sticks that make numbers go up.
- There are basically no cosmetic options in the game. You get two outfits and that is pretty much it.

O que me levou a dar nota negativa é a história. O jogo começa bem, a história te intriga, te deixa curioso, é legal, mas para mim, mais ou menos do meio para frente começa a perder o fio da meada. O que eu realmente não gostei é que o jogo pega muitas referências da bíblia de um modo negativo. Os caras tiveram o trabalho de fazer uma piada com a história do mar aberto na época de Moises no Egito. Achei desnecessário. Além disso, falam de deus e dos princípios de modo que eu não curti. Chegou uma hora no jogo que eu já não tinha interesse em ler a história... ficou chato.

Uma pena, porque eu estava curtindo muito o game e estava muito ansioso para joga-lo.

este juego me despeino los pelos de los huevos, la historia diosss la historia que historia mamita querida, el juego se luce en combates, narrativa, banda sonora y graficos, la banda sonora de cada boss es increible, es que sin dudas es top mejores bandas sonoras de los videojuegos, el unico problema por el cual no lo recomiendo en su precio completo es la absurda cantidad de misiones secundarias repetitivas y asquerosamente aburridas, el tipico estilo de mision de ve de punto a a punto b, y el combate en cierto punto se llega a notar repetitivo, comprenlo ahorita en oferta si les gustan los juegos con una buena historia y no les importan las misiones secundarias ni el sistema de combate.

- 1 Primeiro: Que gameplay gostosa que historia interessante, bem pé no chão, bem dark fantasy, eu particulamente gosto bastante, muito divertido de jogar, sinto que claro perdeu um pouco doque é o final fantasy, mas de longe ainda é final fantasy, falta alguns elementos para você considerar ele um RPG, está mais proximo de um Hack n Slash.

- 2 Otimização... : serio que um jogo da square enix que ganhou port em 2024 é tão mal otimizado?, cara tipo meu PC é um I5 12400f, rx 7600 , 32gb de ram, e essa porra desse jogo aparenta no painel rodar a 190fps, acho que o painel da AMD ta confusa talvez mas em 6hr de jogo ja teve quedas de fps do nada ate em cutscene, uma hora o jogo parece esta a 60+ fps tranquilinho, e do nada parece que cai pra 25 - 30, tipo eu ja vi em varios cantos reclamando sobre isso, e acho que minha configuração é mais que o suficiente pra rodar esse jogo, mas é surreal como ele é mal otimizado

- 3 conclusão final: esse jogo vale muito a pena para quele publico que gosta de uma boa historia de fantasia, curte uma gameplay mais hack n slash e um systema de rpg bemmm limitado... porem também vejo como uma boa entrada para o universo de Final Fantasy, depois do 16 joguem o 15, e assim por diante vão jogando os mais novos, e depois deem uma chance para o JRPG classico rpg de turno, e ate mesmo o meu querido FF tatics

only softly recommended if you are cool with sitting through a lot of cutscenes and dialogue to get to the really fun stuff. incredible visual and audio presentation aside, the runtime is just far too long for the story that the game is trying to tell. my playthrough was about 50 hours and i did almost everything + DLC

the middle part of the game overstays its welcome by at least 20 hours, i started skipping most of the side quests towards the end, excluding ones related to the main cast

leviathan DLC is amazing and the entire game should have been more like that

Я не фанат финалок. Я играл только в 7 remake (и то забросил где-то на половине), поэтому оценить насколько 16 часть достойна называться Final Fantasy я не смогу. Да и не очень хочу🙂
Могу поделиться советом, как играть в эту игру - открывайте вино (или пиво, кому как) откидывайтесь на стуле, расслабляйтесь и готовьтесь смотреть сериал. Долгий сериал. Часов на 25-30. Но интересный. Не ждите, что вам дадут выбирать, что делать или куда идти. Вам показывают кино, вы смотрите и даже принимаете участие (всех негодяев надо закликивать самому, тут все честно!) На этом - всё!

Если вы ждете возможности отыгрыша персонажа - сорян.
Если вы хотите исследовать большой мир - сорян.
Если вам нравится смотреть как мир меняется в результате ваших действий - сорян. Он, конечно меняется, но по мере продвижения сюжета.

Интересно это? Мне понравилось! Слегка затянуто получилось, но все равно понравилось!

Навалили от души. Тут вам и героические герои и злодейские злодеи и самопожертвование и спасение в последний момент и любовь и пафос и философия.

Навалом! В воздух подкинул, прыгнул следом, мечом помахал, на землю с большим взрывом приземлился, молнией во все стороны дал, рывком дальше прыгнул - уххххх! А битвы огромных воплощений айконов вообще мое почтение! Внешне выглядит прям очень круто!

Графика - приятная. Анимации хороший, ФПС вроде не проваливался нигде. Пейзажи и локации - красивые. Немного однообразные, но все же красивые. До кого не докопаться, так это до художников!

Подача сюжета - сделать отдельного персонажа, которые будет разжевывать тебе уже произошедшие события, их последствия и также справку по различным персонажам это очень приятное решение. Интересно было покопаться и подача классная.

Все игровые механики - рудмиментарны и притянуты за уши. За очень длинные уши.
[*][b]Прокачка[/b]
Весьма условна. Из прокачки есть только активные умения. Открываются во время движения по сюжету. Прокачивать их долго и нудно. Зачем - не очень понятно. Обычно у них просто повышается урон. Чуть-чуть. Но проблема в том, что с уроном и так проблем нет.
[*][b]Оружие и шмот[/b]
Оружие и шмотки на ГГ - мистическим образом появляются в магазине или у кузнеца в нужный момент. Стоят - примерно два тухлых помидора и один камушек из придорожной канавы. Гриндить материалы, чтобы при 400 защиты получить +10 не хочется. Внешний вид перса, кста, при смене шмоток не поменяется. С оружием - та же история. Просто купил, просто “заточил” сразу на +1 и +2. Для чего это сделано? Хз.
[*][b]Экономика[/b]
Машет платочком и роняет слёзки. Тонна разных ресурсов, куча денег, но куда их тратить? Я не нашел. Хотя, я просто музыкальные композиции не покупал, наверное, или может искал плохо просто. Но кажется мне, что дело не в этом. Закончил игру с 250к+ в кармане, при стоимости хилки в 200 монет.
[*][b]Боевая система[/b]
Красиво. Но в какой-то момент становится скучно. Ты просто закликиваешь толстых мобов, которые ходят вокруг тебя и ждут, когда ты им наваляешь. Я ни разу не умер за все прохождение. ХП даже близко не подбиралось к нулю. Есть боевыем прием/комбо, их вроде даже прикольно юзать, но филлерных боев столько, что надоедает.
[*][b]Мир[/b]
Большие и не очень коридоры, в которых живут мобы. Все. Коридоры могут прикидываться открытыми локациями, но не верьте! При этом к картинке и к визуалу нареканий нет - почти все локации очень красивые, везде отличная музыка и когда кажется, что начинает появляться вот эта вот атмосфера - локация заканчивается. Плюс игра не награждает тебя за исследование мира ничем существенным. Возвращаться в уже пройденные локации придется только для выполнения сайдов или охоты, но о них ниже.
[*][b]Сайдквесты[/b]
Делятся на два типа. Первый - прыгни фаст тревелом вот в тот регион, собери там 3 камушка и вернись. Второй - прыгни фаст тревелом вот в тот регион, убей негодяев/спаси кого-то (убив негодяев obviously) и вернись. Где-то там могут рассказать немножко о мире или третьестепенных персонажах. Я перестал делать сайды в последней трети игры, надоело. Очень прям “задушился” - максимально скучно и непонятно зачем этим заниматься.

Доска с объявлениями об охоте - зачем она? Чтобы выбить ингридиенты для шмоток, на которые пофигу? Чтобы лучше изучить/погрузиться в мир и его историю? Тоже нет. Ты просто приходишь на место и просто убиваешь мини-босса. Челлендж? Не заметил совсем.

de belles cinématiques, un gameplay nerveux mais des des lenteurs de narration sur la fin du jeu.
une bande originale magnifique qui redonne envie de lancer le jeu, car selon moi ca compte.
beaucoup de quetes fedex comme d'hab mais bon c'est tristement la norme.
je conseille malgres les defauts, surtout avec la baisse des prix.

（以下怒涛のネタバレ）
細かいところを考えるとすっげえ変なので、もうちょっと整合性のあるストーリーや世界観を作ってほしいと思った。クライヴもジルも奴隷人生を送ってたはずなのに、ベアラーの真実をお出しされて「そんなひどい境遇を初めて知りました」みたいなショックの受け方をするのが謎すぎる。魔法が使える人間が割りと大人数いるのに、ドミナント以外のベアラーがみんな奴隷扱いになってるのはやっぱりおかしくね？あとFF15もそうだったけど、最終盤になると本来の敵側の人たちが、敵のボス側に滅ぼされてるのは白ける。

Owned the game for a day, My honest opinion. This is a stunning piece of art! The story is heart breaking and involving, felt like an Origin story for "summons". It has every old school element I love the classics, the soundtrack is peak nostalgia continiously. Combat is very sensitive, I am very impressed with the sensitivity fo the dodge / parry sytem. Customer satisfaction, absolutely entertained.
