Фановий, готично-вестерний екшен про боротьбу з вампірами. Без надмірностей, просто нормальна гра, з чітким геймплеєм з сюжетіком на фоні і сотнями упирів, яких треба підсмажити.
На Стім деку зайти на 15-20 хвл сесії позалипати, саме те.

На баги (крім мінорок), не потрапляв, зараз все ок.

Але напевно не радив би її брати, поки видавець тут, який співпрацює з узькими.
Спочатку сам не звернув на це увагу, але самі розробники ок чуваки.

It's like the devs played one soulsborne game and thought artificial difficulty=good game direction. Spoiler: it doesn't. Between poor combat design (only throwing waves of unoriginal enemies at you each level), predictable and extremely tropey story beats, and mediocre graphics this game took 15 hours of my life that I can't get back because I thought the concept of vampire fighting cowboys was cool. Forget to explore a certain part of the level? You can replay the entire level or get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ because backtracking is literally impossible. Want to play on your own? Good luck; the levels are designed around the multiplayer aspect so you're inherently at a disadvantage. This game will be a waste of your money.

hay mucho para amar y mucho para odiar, mas que nada para odiar pero va muy bien encaminado, el sistema de combate es increible cuando funciona que triste mente no es siempre y la progresion es tristemente muy lenta, pero aunque en su primera mitad se siente muy verde, en la segunda mitad de su campaña es cuando realmente el juego empieza a brillar, los enemigos y combates de la segunda mitad sobre todo algunos bosses aprovechan todas las mecanicas del juego que resultaban inutiles hasta cierto punto, pero tristemente se ve muy opacado por tener varias habilidades que no se pueden conseguir al momento de necesitarlas, la progrecion de mejoras es un error absoluto y arruina bastante la experiencia pero si no se tiene nada mejor que jugar realmente es un juego AA del carajo, la historia no es la gran cosa y se podria haber dado mas desarrollo a los personajes y sus relaciones

realmente espero ver una secuela con un combate mas refinado y una progresiòn que no sea horrenda

I played this after finishing RE9 and I'm glad I did, because sometimes you have to play a really bad game to appreciate that you can also play really good ones.
Evil West is not the worst game I've ever played but it would easily make the list of the worst games I've ever played. It's a game straight from the bargain bin era of the xbox 360, with every bit of bugs, lack of enemy variety and terrible writing you can imagine, but it also gets a whole helping of bad direction on top. I can appreciate a real 6/10 banger, but this is not one of those.

Игра годная, но оптимизация хромает. А так, неплохой шутер. В основном все шутеры выходят про зомби или демонов, тут же вампиры. И им подобные существа. Разнообразие монстров в игре на хорошем уровне, можно про каждого почтить, узнать его историю происхождения. Игру рекомендую но брать исключительно по скидке, за полную стоимость она того не стоит.

That being said. I want the developers to continue on this idea because it had such potential. The skills were pointless no build identity. Combat was just off. Floaty airy and the AI would just watch as you stunlock a different AI.

Цікавенький простенький сюжет. Єдине що дуже хочу виділити - це сетинг. Мені дуже зайшло це месиво вампірів, ковбоїв та лютих технологій. Прописка персонажів мені зайшла, думаю відчував те що задавали розробники, будь-то відразу чи любов до певних персонажів. Єдине що, майже не відчув фінал, ніби нема прям крутого фіналу, а є просто кінець. Але загалом, ахуєнно.
Геймплей 8/10
Доволі цікаве та велике різноманіття противників, і з кожним з них треба розправлятись по різному. Це вже доволі круто, а способів розправлятись з ними - це окремий жирний плюс. Їх реально ♥♥♥♥♥, будь-то якась зброя, по типу мінігану, вогнемету, рефольвера або рушниці, з абсолютно різними механіками до речі, до динаміту, електризованого ласо чи рукопашки. Що до речі є дуже пропрацьованою та цікавою частиною гри, бо комбо які можна самому придумувати тут дуже багато. Дерево прокачки є окремим моїм фаворитом тут. Бо тобі дуже часто дають змогу наново витрачати очки на здібності. І перепробувати різні комбінації дуже просто. А їх тут складати дуже цікаво, бо видно одразу які гілки можливо було б поєднати для підсилення певної комбінації ударів.
Складність 7/10
На нормальній складності чистий чіл, що не є мінусом для мене. Проте читав, що evil складність це міні-дарк соулс. Тому думаю, що вгодили всім.

Awesome game. Very good combat, good enemy variety, good sound design and art design. Youre also always getting new skills, passives, weapons, etc. It only gets repetitive if you refuse to use the new stuff you get!

Story aint anything special tho, and some of the dialogues can be pretty cringe. If youre mainly a story guy, then maybe you wont enjoy Evil West. But if youre mostly into high octane, bombastic combat, then this is the game for you

While the game is fun to play the co-op is unplayable. You either cannot join due to syncing issues with your partner or you spawn in with no weapons or gauntlet to fight. Forget trying to progress because your partner cannot fight enemies or proceed in the hopes that another cutscene will fix the issue. Single player is playable but co-op with a friend is not fun unless you want to restart the levels and hope it works.

Коридорка чистой воды. Идешь идешь БАХ арена, значит сейчас будет "месиво". И так по кругу до финала.
Сюжет это набор клише, который угадал с первой катсцены. В какой то момент перестаешь слушать и скипаешь всё без сожаления и потери понимания.
Механики из прошлого, будто каждое движение уже видел, но в разных играх.
Мир вообще не ощущается живым. Выстрел - ноль реакции, никакого следа. Одним словом картон!
Головоломки... если это можно так назвать. Просто попытка затянуть, но не тут то было.
Разнообразия нет: мобы те же, боссы те же. Просто мешают их между собой и все.
И это стоит почти 3000р., вы серьезно? По скидке рублей за 100 можно, и то лучше дать алкашу на опохмел.
Больше всего пугают положительные отзывы... Насколько же легко сейчас хавают посредственное Д%;мо за оверпрайс...

I wanted to like this game and it has had potential, but constant frame drops and stutterings are just to much. Every time a new region or a chest with coins is opended the frames drop from 80 to low 50. I just think its a bummer.

Story is decent but that combat man. I dont know, it just feels like constant button mashing for some odd reason. It got tedious in the first hour of playing. Maybe its the design choice from the Devs and the whole Co-Op System behind it that makes combat so weird (and to be honest, my fingers actually hurt from that button-mashing, never experienced that before).

To summ it up:
If someone doesnt mind the problems that I described here, you will probably enjoy the game, like I said the story and the world seem interesting its just constant frame-drops and stuttering in combination with cluckly combat that I didnt like. So I cant really recommend the game in this state.

I am halfway and I am having Mixed Thoughts about it. Not the worst game, but far from the best.
Is doable in CO-OP, I wouldn't play this in singleplayer, even if the CO-OP was designed as an afterthough, as progressing trough the game requires both partners at the same location.

I hoped the difficulty was given by the combat mechanics and movement set, not by filling your screen with as many elites as possible who are bullet sponges.

There is a power fantasy, but only when it comes to regular enemies, everything above drags too much.
It starts fair, and then after a time it becomes a slog.

Story... I lost track of it hours ago. Cowboys vs Vampires basically. Victor Vran/Van Helsing.

Later Edit:
I finished the game. It became boring and I just wanted to be done with it.
Story falls of the cliff even worse than it is, you teleport across the country for plot reasons.
Game begins to drag on with encounters that take a lot of time, multiple enemies, it is barely dragging on.
Even collectables require your teammate to be close to you, like you have to climb a stair to collect 1 collectable together with your partner. I understood at major or story moments, but even for collectables? It requires you to be glued to your teammate.

Reinier fight was the worst.
End Game Level is super short, there was no reason to be a last level, it's basically 3 fight encounters. And everything is dragged on by putting enemy spawns and waves for way too long.
You never get that power fantasy, even with late game powers. Last fight is just a slog.

Conclusion
Don't Buy the game, Skip it!
There is nothing here, just a premise of Cowboy's vs Vampires which fails to meet it's mark in terms of fantasy, setting and plot. Early game is best, and then it becomes a slogfest, a super repetitive experience dragged on by multiple long combat encounters. Story is weak, and becomes weaker. Ending is not rewarding.

Cons: Weak dated graphics, weak dated gameplay concepts, tank controls (Gears of War)
The only Pro(s) I can give is the Performance. Performed really well. And +, maybe for some of the enemy visual design.

Evil West – Ein unterschätztes Abenteuer

Ein Spiel, das ich lange gar nicht richtig auf dem Schirm hatte. Zusammen mit einem ehemaligen Klassenkameraden habe ich wieder angefangen, Koop-Games zu spielen – und das hier ist bereits unser viertes gemeinsames Abenteuer.

Wir sind wirklich begeistert: Uns gefällt das Spiel sogar besser als die Remnant-Teile. Während diese durch oft verwirrende Wege teilweise frustrierend sein konnten, ist das hier nicht der Fall. Klar, Evil West ist eher schlauchig aufgebaut, aber dafür unglaublich stimmig inszeniert – und ehrlich gesagt: ziemlich „sexy“. Die Grafik ist mega und das Koop-Gameplay macht einfach richtig Spaß.

Die Spielzeit liegt bei etwa 8–10 Stunden, was für das Erlebnis genau richtig ist – kompakt, aber durchgehend unterhaltsam.

Besonders cool: Jede Waffe kann gelevelt bzw. verbessert werden, mit unterschiedlichen Eigenschaften. Dadurch kann jeder Spieler seinen eigenen Spielstil entwickeln und im Koop auch unterschiedlich agieren – richtig gut umgesetzt.

Für etwa 10 € im Sale ist das Spiel absolut fair bepreist – eigentlich sogar unter Wert.

Ein paar kleine Kritikpunkte gibt es dennoch:
Die Verbindung im Multiplayer ist etwas umständlich, da beide Spieler im Hauptmenü manuell verbinden müssen. Außerdem hat scheinbar nur einer den Hauptspeicherstand – bei uns war das immer der Gruppenführer. Wenn man diesen wechselt, beginnt man wieder von vorne. Kleiner Tipp also: Bleibt am besten immer beim selben Host.

Auch merkt man, dass das Spiel eher für Controller ausgelegt ist. Die Steuerung kann anfangs etwas überfordern, aber man gewöhnt sich schnell daran.

Dafür überzeugen die Bosskämpfe umso mehr und runden das Gesamtpaket perfekt ab. Der Schwierigkeitsgrad auf „Normal“ ist gut machbar, ohne dass man groß grinden muss. Positiv ist auch, dass uns nur sehr, sehr wenige Bugs aufgefallen sind – und diese haben den Spielfluss zu keiner Zeit gestört.

Fazit:
Klare Empfehlung – vor allem für einen guten Preis. Und ganz wichtig: Unbedingt im Koop spielen! Alleine macht es deutlich weniger Spaß.

Auf meinem PC läuft das Spiel butterweich.

Blade do velho oeste. Aqui é só meter a surra em vampiro.
O jogo é bem linear e é passando de fase. Caso deixe algo pra trás é possivel rejogar o mapa.
O unico bug que tem no jogo que presenciei e parece acontecer com bastantes jogadores é de travar a progressão do nivel do personagem. A resolução é trocar a dificuldade, voltar no menu, dar load no save e colocar na dificuldade anterior.

Друг: Ну что, начинаем спасать Америку от вампиров?
Я: Да, только без шуток — будем играть серьёзно, как профи.
Друг: Ага, конечно. Держи карман шире.

Первые 20 минут:

Мы восхищаемся крутой перчаткой с электричеством: «Вау, смотри, как он его шарахнул!»

Разыгрываем сцены в духе вестернов: «Этот город слишком мал для нас двоих… А, нет, тут ещё 50 вампиров».

Умираем на первом мини‑боссе, потому что решили, что «вдвоём мы его точно завалим за 10 секунд».

Дальше было веселее:

Друг случайно отталкивает меня электрической волной прямо в толпу врагов: «Ой, это не я, это игра сама!»

Я пытаюсь прицелиться из револьвера, но вместо вампира стреляю в бочку с маслом — и мы оба летим в стену от взрыва: «Ну… зато красиво».

На арене с тремя здоровяками в щитах мы 15 минут пытаемся понять, куда бить:

Друг: «Давай я его отвлеку!»

Я: «Только не снова…»

Через секунду Друг уже висит на цепи над толпой врагов и орёт: «СПАСАЙ!»

Что нам понравилось:

Боевая система. Рубишь, стреляешь, швыряешь врагов током — чувствуешь себя ковбоем‑супергероем. Особенно когда комбо получается.

Оружие. Электрическая перчатка, револьвер, дробовик… В какой‑то момент мы начали спорить, что круче: «Смотри, я его током — БАМ! — а потом в упор — БУМ!»

Атмосфера. Вампиры, Дикий Запад, стимпанк — звучит безумно, но работает. Как будто кто‑то смешал God of War с Unforgiven.

Кооператив. Да, иногда мы мешаем друг другу, но это только добавляет хаоса. В конце концов, кто не любит, когда напарник случайно поджигает тебя вместо врага?

Где было сложно:

Я: «Может, это бесконечный режим?»

Друг: «Нет, это издевательство. Перезагружаем!»

Узкие коридоры. В них легко застрять, особенно когда друг решает «героически» прыгнуть вперёд и толкает тебя под ноги врагам.

Баги. Один вампир застрял в стене и стрелял в нас сквозь текстуру. Мы смотрели на это минуту, потом Друг сказал: «Он просто устал. Пощадим его».

Итог: Evil West — это как вечеринка с друзьями, где всё идёт не по плану, но от этого только веселее. Здесь можно:

устроить эпичную битву с толпой вампиров,

случайно взорвать напарника,

почувствовать себя крутым охотником на нечисть (пока не застрянешь в текстуре),

и в конце сказать: «Ну, зато мы это сделали… вместе!»

Наша оценка: 8/10 вампирских морд, из которых:

5 — разнесли в пух и прах с первого удара,

2 — победили после трёх перезагрузок,

1 — убежали от страха,

и 1 — тот самый, что застрял в стене (мы его простили).

Acabo de terminar este juegazo y e de decir que lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Lo bueno en mi opiníon.

-Una historia que si bien no es la gran novedad, logra mantenerte entretenido y al tanto de lo que pasa.
-El 97% del tiempo la pasas dando caña a los monstruos, el demás tiempo pequeños "puzzles" puestos ahi solo para que no lo confundas con algun killing floor
-Un árbol de habilidades que si bien no es muy extenso es lo suficiente mente bueno para darle mas sabor a la mecaníca de combate.
-Mejoras de armas que por cierto tienen muy buen diseño y son interesantes de usar.
-Un protagonista y demás personajes secundarios con los que no es dificíl conectar.

-Lo malo

-Muy corto, en escazas 16hrs lo termine.
-Las dificultades mas altas solo convierten a los enemigos en esponjas de daño.
-Un final boss que si bien ofrece una buena batalla se queda corto con los bosses anteriores.
-Hay uno que otro bug en el que te quedas atorado con objetos del mapa

Прошёл на сложности "Тяжело" за 16 часов и НГ+ на уровне "Зло" за 8 часов. На сбор всех ачивок уйдёт 24-30ч.
Уровни сложности отличаются только скоростью закликивания. На низком и среднем играть не интересно. На высоких уровнях обнаруживается вся халтура - игровые механики не всегда срабатывают, персонаж застревает в текстурах итд.
В целом качество уровня раннего доступа.
В коопе играть придётся за одного и того же персонажа.

Оценка была бы положительной, если бы не цена. Даже с учётом скидок она слишком высока для продукта такого уровня. Красная цена ему <200р с учётом скидки.

After watching the movie (Sinners) for the first time, I felt drawn back to Evil West. Having originally played it on my Xbox a year or two ago, I remember stopping after fighting the giant plant boss. Then putting the game back on my shelf, with it not sticking with me then but always wanting to come back.

I personally think Evil West is a bit underrated. It presents some cool ideas with a great setting of Old West vampire slaying. However, other than its good variety in skills, perks, and boss battles, there’s not much I can truly say about the game that carries much favor.

As an action beat ’em up adventure game in the renaissance of the lost Xbox 360 era style, it checks every box. The opening hours are its strongest point, with punchy, satisfying combo combat and the ability to harness lightning like a cowboy version of Zeus.

After that, you begin to realize you’ll mostly be fighting the same enemies in the same style of open areas, just with nice looking backdrops. Some “mini-bosses” you encounter early on later return as regular enemies. Thankfully that stops being the case toward the later half of the game.

I do love how the game encourages experimentation. It lets you reset your perks and upgrades, giving you access to a whole catalog of combinations and cool abilities.

As for the rest of the game, the story, especially the dialogue, felt off. At times it seemed like it would just cut in certain parts or be weirdly pieced together. I tried desperately to like the characters, but I couldn’t care less if they turned into giant leech monsters.

I also want to mention there were some weird performance issues. At first I thought it was just my PC or Steam Deck, but no it’s the game itself. I had to set my graphics to medium on both systems with V-Sync on just to avoid a choppy mess. Even then I encountered some sudden frame drops on occasion. Not enough to make the game unplayable, but definitely noticeable.

In truth, I would like to see the developers given another shot at a sequel (though I doubt it), ironing out what could have made this game great while continuing with the interesting setting it introduced. But for now, Evil West remains a cool idea that never fully reaches what it could've been.

Hello partner! Думал что попаду на дикий запад с атмосферой ван хелсинга, а попал в мир дикого бага и не сбалансированной сложности. Погнали ПАРТНЕР начну с того что тут куча багов от вылетевших вампирских уродов за карту до застревания персонажа в предметах из за которых приходиться перезапускаться, но даже это не особо проблема которая меня не остановила от прохождение данного шедевра, а остановила сложность так как она тут не сбалансированная на легком болваны это просто цели в тире, а на сложности ЗЛО они станут жирнее и будут тебе одним ударом снимать пол хп.

Есть еще одни минус который очень сильно бьет по погружению, и это то что игра БУКВАЛЬНО из НУЛЕВЫХ ГОДОВ, как можно было это сделать в 2022 году? При игре прям чувствуешь что вот много не хватает к примеру как булетайм, так как к ниму тут все есть бегущие бомбы, ковбои которым нужно попасть в нужный момент и входя на такую арену прям вот вот надо это, где это? Одно радует что каждый новый уровень или локацию не знаю как назвать это в данной игре, появляются новые болванчики, НО все равно боссы одни и те же, мини боссы одни и те же только декорации меняются. В игре просто нету интересных механник.

Но есть пара плюсов, ЭТО визуал и выдержка атмосферы, уж очень красивые локации, наряды персонажей та и сами персонажи как будто из аниме конца 2000. Второй плюс игра довольно динамична всегда приходится уворачиваться что иногда не успеваешь среагировать допустим как на боссе паразит.

Про сюжет нечего не могу сказать я бросил игру, просто не справился с тем что из игры можно было сделать максимально интересную игру и профигачили такой потенциал.

Если бы разрабы хоть на секундочку хоть на минуточку включили фантазию.... игра была бы топовой, ладно PARTNER удачи на злом западе!

This is one of the most boring games I've played. The game's whole idea of "difficulty" is throwing a bunch of enemies at you every couple of minutes in small arena-type areas. As you progress through the story, the game adds a bunch of mini-boss type enemies into the mix, all at the same time.
So you end up fighting anywhere between 2-4 mini bosses at the same time as well as normal enemies. And once you finished those, the game throws another wave of 4 mini-bosses at you. If you die, you start the whole thing over cause F YOU. You can't even fight properly since staying in one place to attack an enemy is a death sentence. So you have to constantly jump around dealing bits of damage here and there, this leads to fights being long and tedious.

Nice gameplay, and I’m playing it fully in co-op with my friend on the highest difficulty, and we are enjoying it. But why the negative review? well...

The game is totally broken. The level design it's horrible. They really don't know how to balance the fight sessions. You will see...

In co-op, the game feels especially broken. Sometimes you can only use half of your weapons because of the bugs. Everything glitches. The game really can’t handle everything that’s happening on the screen. I’ve never experienced anything like this before.

Honestly, we are good players and we will finish all the achievements in this game, but my God… it’s extremely broken.

I have left this negative review because i feel that the game was supported at the beginning where the situation was better, but near the end of the game you can see that was left like this. It looks like an alpha not a complete game. Really disappointed because there are not a lot of coop games and this had the chance to be one of the best.

Technical nightmare. Half of the tries - skills wont work, like hotkey do not react, or you pull out you minigun, press shoot... and he makes a melee punch. Heal is ready - press C to heal - nothing happen OR animation will run but you will not get hp....OMG... The perfect example of a game where devs didn't bother to check their creation.
Stupid decision not to allow come back to the previous level stage, while hiding loot. Okay make it so, but leave a clue where does the main path go. So bad thinking...
Note: tech troubles, as I suggest, is for co-op mode. Didn't try it solo. Co-op just literally broken, why do you even bother develop this feature? Just leave it as a single-player game.
So many wrong decisions... just a garbage management.. burn!

I started playing this game on a whim and was immediately annoyed with the story and how boring it was. I was on the edge of giving it up, but the combat was really fun and I got so hooked by the end that upon wrapping the game I immediately started a new game+ and played the whole thing again, which is rather unusual for me.

It's a bit strange to compare this game to God of War, but if you are familiar with GoW combat you'll feel right at home here, it's very expressive, you get tons of cool moves and big ultimates and it's always fun to juggle an enemy in the air or stun them and whale on them for a bit. There's satisfying hitstop and camera shake to accentuate your hits, and in general I think they nailed the feel of combat.
A couple of bosses feel pretty cheesy, especially on the hardest difficulty.

I played on both my Desktop PC and my Steam Deck, and they both performed well (the Deck needed a bit of tinkering)

The story is pretty bland. It's not exactly bad per se, I just wasn't engaged much by it. Don't play this game for the plot, but in my opinion it's totally worth it for the combat!

Gran juego de acción y entretenido, punto a destacar:
-su combate dinámico, mezclando disparos, golpes cuerpo a cuerpo y habilidades especiales.
-Rico en efectos visuales "gameplay" como tanto en las cinemáticas
-Su historia viene bien, piña y piña, y algún tiro a vampiros en un oscuro mundo del Lejano Oeste, y digo algún tiro porque lamentablemente las armas hacen poco daño y eso dentro de todo no es muy positivo pero en la acción pasa a desapercibido .
-el juego tiene un ritmo muy directo que mantiene la acción constante.
Estos puntos lo hace muy divertido de jugar. Sin embargo, uno de sus puntos débiles es que no es muy largo, ya que la historia tiene pocos capítulos y se completa en unas pocas horas, sumado a que es bastante lineal, con algo de exploración en la historia "principalmente por dinero". Tambien me falto algo de música, ya que esta ambientado en el lejano oeste hay muchas puertas, opciones para darle ese toque extra sonoro a este juego. This game is good don’t get me wrong because I really liked the combat, shooting, characters, graphics, bosses and some more.
BUT why this game is like a low-mid 8 is because the story and gameplay.
The story just not that special and the gameplay repetitive pretty fast is what I would say.
You go to a place to find something, forgot to tell your friend, he goes to look for you and now you have to go look for him. That’s kinda like the game is till the end.
The ending was kinda decent also.

制作组你知道你堆了多少怪吗？第8章的boss，在第9章第一轮就变成怪群里的小怪。后期小怪遭遇就是前期boss的排列组合，一开始两两组合，后面三三组合。最后两关甚至见过同场4个。华盛顿第一轮遭遇刷了2波怪，每一波都是前期3个boss？一共6个。知道boss战简单，但也不用这么水时长吧。美术上，大部分时候都是红彤彤的，看多了非常难受。红色系，黑色系，深蓝色系为主，只有中期出现过其他色系。简直是美术黑洞。战斗上拳拳到肉，血肉横飞，但因为怪太多了，总是被打断。精英怪韧性高，很难打出有效控制，更谈不上连击。整体以跑打为主。且前中期都没有有效的aoe对抗潮水般的小怪。所以大部分时候都很憋屈。我感觉，减少炸药包cd，增加喷火器容量，完全可以改成爽游，但现在这样，体验很一般。
