Everspace is essentially 3D Faster Than Light. I would say its less difficult/annoying then FTL is but more boring as well. Its not bad necessarily but definitely not great either.

+Graphics are nice, controls are easy, sounds are... ok I guess. Mouse and keyboard not only works great but surprisingly its the recommended mode. I expected a flight stick would be recommended instead.
+Upgrading your weapons, tools and shields in the run itself and after your run ends using the money you earned to buy permanent upgrades is pretty fun. One of the most fun parts of any roguelike really. It does have a really grindy nature to it unfortunately. Your pilot permanent upgrades always carry over but you have to upgrade each ship seperately so choose one to buy and stick with.
+The environments you visit, while repetative, look good. Some definitely look better then others.
+If you've ever played FTL: Faster Than Light then you already kind of know what this game is. Its FTL but 3D.

-The tutorial sucks and I didn't really know how to open my inventory and craft stuff, upgrade stuff and repair my ship until a few runs in when I decided to check the controls because clearly I was missing something. The issue for this is that the tutorial talks a lot and it talks and tries to tell you stuff while you're actively shooting at people trying to not die in your first time playing so most of it just goes over your head.
-This ties into the previous point as well but there is so much talking all the time and thats whatever but the worst part is that the talking happens over the action so you're focused on not dying while the characters are yapping away so you end up not being able to focus on either the combat or the conversation OR you focus on the combat entirely and tune out the voices from your brain and miss the could-be-interesting lore here and there. Maybe its not interesting, I wouldn't know, I was too busy trying not to die.
-The story starts off a little interesting but the way they explain things and the dialogue is... idk, it feels a bit weird and I'm not a fan of how its being explained. It feels a little too hand-holdy I guess and a lot of things are just told and you barely find out anything for yourself. You can see certain things coming from a mile away in the story.
-There's 2 types of cutscenes, one is not bad and the other absolutely sucks. The first type tells you of the in game lore with the scenes themselves looking like they were painted, it looks nice even if the story telling is a bit boring. The 2nd type of cutscene happens with the friendly NPCs you meet along the way. This "cutscene" consists of your space ship and their space ship looking at each other, head on, 10 meters distance between the two ships and there is dialogue. It sucks to see two ships floating and just talking.
-So much blue... why is everything blue? Background? Blue. Enemy drone looking at me from 5 meters away? Blue and against the blue background I only notice him *after* he shoots at me. Mineable stuff floating in space, boxes you can shoot open for loot, other materials, places to go to like ship wrecks how does the game tell you where these are? There's a blue like hexagon or whatever around these points of interest. It takes me more then necessary time and brain power to try and figure out where the blue hexagon is because the entire background is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ blue. It doesn't always look awful but it feels like you're fighting the color scheme half the time.
-Gets very repetative very fast. Not just the gameplay loop which is super simple fly around, mine ♥♥♥♥ and shoot ♥♥♥♥ not just that but the environments you visit too. It all feels so samey after literally a handful of hours. The mining is boring, the exploration is fun until you're visiting the same thing 20th time again, combat is either you're hiding behind asteroids, shooting missiles and gunning down drones or there is 20 enemy ships and probably a big corvette ship chasing you and killing you before you can even realize where you're getting shot from. It loses its cool factor VERY fast.
-When you're in a battle with two different enemy groups like the Okkar guys or whatever they're called and the bandits they both seem to focus on you more then each other. It doesn't feel like a three way "shoot whoever crosses your nose" feels more like "why the ♥♥♥♥ do I have both of them shooting me?" This isn't great but its not terrible either I guess as long as you don't get too overwhelmed. What is terrible is that...
-...the environmental factors like some zones ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ your sensors and leaving you blind and some zones having thunderstorms that zap you and ♥♥♥♥ with you don't seem to apply to the enemy or other NPCs. They are never blind, they are never as hurt as you are by the thunder.
-Some situations you find yourself in are genuinely unwinnable. One of the main things is that in most zones after a certain amount of time the Okkar forces will teleport in and hunt you down. They teleport very close to you, there is several at once and they do not stop. By the time you're done with the first wave the second is already here. Best option is to just run away. Sadly in some zones you can't because there are fast travel suppressors or whatever and they stop you from running to the next zone so you have to find this thing thats suppressing your engines or whatever and hack it so it stops working. Its usually defended by turrets. If you're unlucky enough to get into a zone that ♥♥♥♥♥ with your sensors too then you're blinded, on a time limit before the Okkar arrive, trying to find the little ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ set of metal bars thats preventing you from teleporting away of that zone. Thats assuming you entered this zone with a 100% health too if the previous zone already left you in a bad shape then ♥♥♥♥ you, die. In some zones when you first enter them you already have enemies notice and fly towards you, shooting at you before you can even get your bearings.

Similar to many other roguelikes there are many moments where you'll feel like you died due to unfair situations. Its a part of the game, I get it but its still annoying especially with the grind this game wants from you it feels even worse. Is it a bad game? No, its a fun little time waster but its that only. A time waster that gets repetative pretty fast. Its a 50/50 on if I'd recommend this game or not, as I'm writing this its on a -95% sale so you can get it for cheap if you're into roguelikes but if you aren't into roguelikes or you don't wanna put time and effort into a game that'll get repetative pretty fast then you don't need to bother with it. If I could give a mixed review, I would but its only recommend or not recommend on Steam so this is gonna be a thumbs down for me. Denera Roslin, my beloved saviour... Too bad I never got to see how her story ends cuz I can't be bothered to play again after 6-7 (haha) consecutive hours. Maybe in the future I'll finish it.

A rather inoffensive rogue-lite space shooter. Not much content unless you buy the Encounters DLC. It's got a simple premise to go with the simplistic gameplay: you control a clone of some other dude who's slowly remembering who he used to be and what happened to the original. Cutscenes are of the lazy variety, meaning, very blurry concept art stills with cheap effects and terrible static shots of your spacecraft as voiceover clips play. The gameplay itself is, as I said, nothing to write home about: you travel through a total of 7 sectors, each containing a number of stages where you do dogfighting battles and collect various trinkets and resources. As per usual, when you die, you start from sector 1, but keep both credits and certain special items collected. Your vessel of choice (one of four counting DLC) has a number of permanent upgrades you obtain by spending money accrued during the last run, and range from increasing speed, armor and gathered resources to other less vital stats, like knowing more about the zone you are visiting or getting better deals with merchants. Then there're perks that increase stats by a tiny ammount, but also usually sport some type of drawback. There's really not much else to it. You go out, shoot some ace space lizards or some bandits, and ocassionally you'll take out a massive starship, often by laming it out with corrosion missiles and very long distance charge lasers, or with an emergency nuke-type secondary weapon. Your time on each zone is limited, as an alien race is constantly looking for you, so you have something like 10 minutes of free play before you get invaded by the Okkar forces and are forced to leave unless you are very, very skilled and got powerful enough weaponry to destroy the increasingly difficult waves of enemies, which start very strong and only get worse. Some zones have a "sensors impaired" mechanic which lets you roam freely for as long as you want though. As for the DLC, it gives you an extra ship and a few side quests. You'll be taking on the role of bounty hunter, engineer, outlaw, biologist, and a few other jobs. It's not entirely rivetting work, but it is a neat distraction from the otherwise barren environments that consist mostly of scrap and asteroid fields.

The game controls fine, though expect it to be scientifically inaccurate (for example, you quickly come to a halt when you stop boosting), which I guess is to make the game more fun and less annoying to play, though that can make or break it for some. Dogfights are fun, generally short romps that break the monotony of finding minerals, gas and tech floating about the debris, but they can also take a long time when you are facing higher tiered flyers and battleships. Those can be quite intimidating and could appear very early on, forcing you to use your consumables and tertiary systems (such as increasing damage and rate of fire or disabling drones at range) and wimp it out to take cover behind asteroids as your shields replenish. Thankfully you can use neutral NPCs in the vicinity as meat shields, drawing enemy fire to them and then seeing them do battle for you, usually wiping the enemies out and letting you seize the booty. I don't know why the yellow units don't collect their drops, since there's no EXP or any such system in the game, so clearly the best strat is draw enemy fire to neutral factions and Encounters NPCs to let them do battle for you, though they aren't always present. There's also a few anomalies that you deal with, though they are rare and even optional.

That is pretty much Everspace. I've heard people praise its visuals, but they are wholly generic and bland to to me. The music is absolutely terrible, to the point I turned it off, and the sound effects are pitiful "pew pew pew" noises which don't exactly give the combat a lot of impact. The performance is also iffy at best. At some points I saw the game skip multiple frames of animation amidst the slowdown during intense battles, but not the next time. Plus, there's no online multiplayer or anything like say, "summoning" another player (I know, I know!) to help you out, so it's a very lonely, somewhat boring experience to be frank. Which is why I stopped playing. The game's environments are so repetitive and the difficulty ramps up so often that it defeats the purpose of seeing the same vapid sights over and over again, even though they are supposed to be randomly generated each time. I was consistently making progress up to zone 7, but when I died late in zone 6, I couldn't be bothered anymore, since there was nothing to see or do that was stimulating anymore. Not like destroying an Okkar Corvette for the first time. It became a matter of simply upgrading my credits collection stat and getting as much money as possible before the inevitable happened, though nothing fun was going on between runs.

Who knows, you might get a kick out of it if you are a Freelancer whorshipper. It's a cheap, cheaply made inoffensive game, sometimes fun, but it's unlikely it will hold your attention for more than a few hours total since there's no depth to it.

This game is a bit of a mixed bag. It's the kind of game anyone can have fun with, whether you're a big sim player or just someone who likes action games. There's none of the tediousness of being in a "living economy" type space sim, but it does have resource gathering to craft weapons and other goodies for your ship during a run. Progress can be pretty slow, and runs can start to feel very repetitive. There's not a whole lot of enemy variety and no such thing as a boss fight for some reason, at least not from what I've seen in 13 hours of gameplay.

The difficulty of the game is also tuned very badly. Playing on "normal" I could barely get past the 2nd sector. First time I tried it on easy, I beat the run. Imo the 3 difficulties should be normal, hard, and extremely hard instead of the easy, normal, hard that they have now. Normal is just crazy difficult because there's no way to evade enemy fire without having a heavily upgraded ship. It wouldn't really be an issue if a ton of content wasn't blocked behind completing your first run.

Overall it's a fun game but I see why the reviews are only mostly positive. There's a lot holding the game back and unfortunately that's how it will stay since the game is like 9 years old or so. Grab in on sale if you can and start on easy mode until you get some upgrades for your ship.

Combat is really fun, grind is meh, writing is bland Marvel slop, and having to restart your entire run after barely failing a scripted story mission is completely a.ss game design.

I don't regret buying this game, there's still lots of fun to be had, but wait for a sale -- or save your money and play the first Colony Wars game on a PlayStation emulator. The flight model is about the same as this game's, but has a greater emphasis on speed and actual dogfighting, and the game itself also has far less bulls.hit design and a much more interesting story and campaign structure.

The gameplay requires a lot of grinding, and the classic "Skill issues" become less important once you have a job and life, and have done the loop of building skills that will get discarded once the game is over. Time is important to me, its probably important to you.

Everspace is what harsh modern critics would call a "polished turd". I'm not going to go all the way there but it conveys a valid point hence its cameo here.

I think the concept and game design foundations this game stands on are good and pretty much carries this game on its shoulders throughout the entire thing. It's simply not that fun shooting enemies, more so shooting to collect materials that you often don't know if you need or not.

In an ambitious attempt to offer complete freedom of movement the game also comes with way too many buttons and while it does claim to be best played with keyboard and mouse I insisted on playing on controller.
This meant I had to bring out my Razer Wolverine V3 Pro as I needed every single extra button I could get (four paddles + an extra pair of shoulder bumpers) simply to get a fair movement scheme.

There had to be compromises and having 4 different categories of inventory all needing at least one button each to scroll through them and another to activate them simply wasn't a good experience.

While I can't with good conscience recommend this game to someone hoping to get a stellar experience I will say I'm still not that far off looking into Everspace 2 before writing it off. It is a weird dynamic but I believe it is the strong concept this game stands on that still makes me think it can be made justice. Just not this time with this game.

Fun for fans of space action games like Freelancer, Free space, etc. it's basically FTL with the branching space map to a final boss, except you're flying the 1 man spaceship. Every time you die, you keep your cash to buy incremental upgrades or new ships.

It gets a bit repetitive after a while but good while it lasts.

Лёгкость освоения
Управление достаточно отзывчивое, а механики не слишком сложные — подойдёт как любителям космических игр, так и тем, кто впервые пробует жанр

Минусы:

Roguelike-повторяемость может надоесть
Постоянные смерти и необходимость начинать с нуля могут показаться однообразными и утомительными для некоторых игроков.

Сюжет не сильно выделяется
Хотя есть история и голосовой текст, она не всегда мотивирует больше, чем сам игровой процесс.

The game is just unfair to you. One moment you're a killing machine, and the next you're destroyed within seconds. Maybe you can't shoot or are doing something wrong? Nope. You elimininated bunch of foes or maybe the tough one, but why should you feel accomplishment? That's right! Have more enemies on your ass(literally, they jump from outside "the room"). Done with them, too? Have some more. Ok, you're dead. Congrats! Time for another run, I guess

В общем игра неплохая я бы сказал 10/10 но скажу что только визуал 10/10 а сама игра в целом 5/10 но это твёрдая 5, обьясню почему:

1.Игра хоть и рогалик но буквально после 2 - 3 залетов по часу вы уже увидите все что может предложить игра, это грустно
2.Единственный корабль реально играбельный это начальный средний истребитель и часовой из ДЛС, остальные корабли неиграбельны особенно на хардкоре
3.Слишком банальное и скучное поведение врагов хотя их и так мало, через залетов 10 можно выучить все паттерны их поведения и уворачиватся без проблем
4.После получения оружия древних в связке с глифом пиявка вы становитесь машиной для уничтожения галактического флота, после этого оружия отпадает и смысл и желание играть с обычным оружием и второстепенным так как оно мощнее перечисленных раз в 10

Для ачивхантинга эта игра оказалась приятной и мне проблем не доставила кроме серой слизи которую я очень долго искал для фронга

定期的に95%OFFセールを行っており、115円くらいで入手できます。
たとえ10分でやめたとしてもお釣りがくる圧倒的コスパです。

おおむねストアの説明通り、宇宙船で戦うシューティングにローグライクの要素を加えたものです。
プレイ中に得た資金によって機体の初期状態を強化していくことができますが
それによって有利になるというよりは強化が前提のゲームバランスと感じました。
セクター1からスタートしセクター7を目指す旅となりますが難易度はそこそこ高く
最初のうちはセクター1～2であっさりと撃墜され、これクリアできるのか？と不安になりましたが
そんな調子でも改造のための資金は貯まっていくので地道に強化を重ねていき
合わせて戦闘のコツを掴んでいくことで十分に敵と渡り合えるようになりました。
プレイ時間が20時間を超えた辺りでついに初ゴールを達成、普段簡単なゲームばかりやっているので久々に達成感がありました。

[h2]プレイのコツ[/h2]
・最初のうちは死んでナンボなので死を恐れず、お試しのつもりで何回もプレイしましょう。
・機体は最初のうちは偵察機がオススメです。ショックライフルは射程が4kmもあるので狙撃が可能、近接はビームで対応、囲まれたらとりあえずクローク！ムキになって正面対決をしないことが大事です。これでゲームに慣れた後、ガンシップに乗り換えるかどうかは人によって好みが分かれると思います。
・敵の射撃はなかなか正確です。生意気にも偏差射撃をしているようで、直線的に動いているとビシバシ被弾してしまいます。ヘッドオンで撃ち合うときはADキーで左右に振ってやるとかなり避けられます。ブーストで一気にすれ違って反転し後ろを取るのも有効です。
・機体のダメージ回復は気軽にはできないので、シールドが剥がされたら回避に専念しシールド再展開まで時間を稼ぎましょう。とにかく無理は禁物です。
・消耗品は存在を忘れがちですが上手く使えば強力なので死蔵せずバンバン使って慣れておきましょう。個人的にはドローン系のアイテムと救援ビーコンを頼りにしていました。
・慣れてきたら操作方法のカスタマイズに手を付けるのもアリ。私はキーボード＋マウス操作でしたが、垂直上下の平行移動がスペースキーとCTRLキーではやりづらいのでマウスのサイドボタンに割り振りました。

很好玩的太空射击游戏，虽然比较老了但是画面非常精美，我的老电脑玩起来也很流畅。奥卡族归时的场面极其震撼，可惜他们的超级战舰好像是无敌的，正常玩根本打不过。我尝试开无敌也消灭不了，后来开一击必杀战舰直接消失了。

Много лет хотел поиграть в нечто космическое, где сам управляешь. Выбираешь, куда лететь. Да и рогалики люблю.
Поиграл немного, кайфанул. Увы, уже не готов столько времени на игру тратить. Понимаю, что помимо личного навыка тут и прокачка решает. А заходы не самые быстрые.
Несмотря на то, что лично я принял решение дальше не играть, о покупке не жалею. Думаю, многим очень зайдет, рекомендую.

An hour was more than enough time to discover I don't like being punished for playing. Enemies that never miss and outnumber you 4:1, resource collection that you can never finish before you're either killed or you flee. The graphics are surprisingly good and it played very smoothly. Too bad I never want to spend another minute of my time playing it.

Fun little roguelike. Story is enough to keep it interesting for the first playthrough, and the ship flying/combat is great. It's quite beautiful at times as well. Overall, these two elements were enough to keep me interested in finishing a complete run. If you like roguelikes, I recommend it. On to Everspace 2, which I hear expands significantly on the foundation this game built.

This game is such a blast! I have no idea why I hadn't heard of it before or why it's stuck in "Mixed" review territory. It's an absolutely gorgeous space dogfighting game with a little roguelike fun tossed in for good measure. Even once the action slows down you have a huge area to explore and mess about in. Uncover secret bandit basses, dig through space wreckages, zip through the center of massive asteroids and ice formations, and decide whether to be the good guy or blast away anything in sight.

I'm shocked I got this game at such a steep discount of $1, when $20 is exactly what it's worth. I even went ahead and bought the DLC and deluxe upgrade for good measure. The only downsides, I'll say, are the story is a little lackluster and predictable and I wish there were more customization options for your craft. That's it, though, those are my only complaints. Buy EVERSPACE, buy it now!

[b]C[/b]reated with passion for this concept, accessible and easy to pick up and play, Everspace skillfully balances the line between challenging and overwhelming, even if it’s probably better to start your adventures on the lower difficulty level, to deliver a very enjoyable and inviting gameplay that's sure of itself, doesn't overpromise anything, and maintains an even level of quality from start to finish. Even with extra content from the 'Encounters' expansion, game certainly doesn't overstay its welcome providing, for most of the players, ~25-50hrs of spacefaring adventures, depending on their dedicaiton to progression and achievement completionism and enjoyment derived from space combat- a core, foundational mechanic in Everspace, supported by light, undemanding exploration and problem solving, basic in-game economy, similarly modest and engaging-enough background story and writing in general, wrapped around a run-based roguelite system, with basic progession mechanics in the background for both the entire player profile and specific ships (4 in total, including Sentinel-class medium fighter from the DLC expansion).

[b]F[/b]rom top to bottom- it is quite an impressive debut from Rockfish Games, elevated to a whole other level in the sequel, with both punching above their budgetary levels. This game certianly wouldn't win any awards for its content depth, width and innovation in the genre, but really wasn't trying to risk trying to do that, and instead opted to focus on a proved, familiar formula, polishing and rounding up the most important aspect of the gameplay loop (combat design, movement mechanics, ship loadout cusotmization, pacing of the run) to provide an even, clean, polished and enjoyable experience that doesn't leave you underwhlemed, even as the list of non-repeatable story missions, undiscovered weapons, routines, ship colours or blueprints gets smaller with every run.
[b]I[/b]n the end, this little well-polished gem should remain highly enjoyable for the duration of a lot of those, even for veterans of the genre. And for better or worse, thanks to devs distancing themselves from the roguelite mechanics (probably because oversaturation of this design direction in the gaming industry atm), the sequel doesn't overshadow this game or makes it not worth chekcing out- both provide different experiences and exist next to each other in the world of sci-fi space combat action games, without stepping on eachother's toes.
It would be interesting to see this dev studio handle the task of making a licensed Star Wars spin on this concept, but that's a 'what if' speculation for a different, better timeline.

Nach etwa 2std. Spielzeit habe ich schon keine Lust mehr.
Ja ich weiß es handelt sich hier um ein Action-Roguelike doch, ich finde das mache Dead´s einfach unkalkulierbar sind. Als alter Stratege macht mich sowas Wütend.
Ja klar ich nähere mich ein Outlaw-Außenposten das dann Gegner dann spawnen „aus dem Hyperdrive springen“ schon klar… Ich erkenne die Sprung Signatur nehme abstand, doch wieso dann auch noch hinter mir? Zum Schluss zerreißt es einen mit etwa 8-12 roten Markern um einen herum... Ressourcen abbauen macht da keinen sinn da ja immer die Möglichkeit besteht „unfair“ mit dem nächsten Klon weiter spielen zu müssen und alles erfarmte zu verlieren. Wenn ich ein Risko eingehen und dann versage verstehe ich das und akzeptiere das auch. Ich habe das starke Gefühl, dass das Spiel meint er hat genug wir machen jetzt mal Schluss.
Die Spiel-Schwierigkeit empfinde ich als angenehm, keine Vorteile gegenüber dem Gegnern zuhaben. Zu schwer empfinde ich es auch nicht. Alleine was mit tierisch auf den Senkel geht ist das das Spiel meint er hat genug, neuer versuch.
Normalerweise gebe ich Spielen generell viele Chancen, um dann doch Spaß daran zu haben. Doch hier ist mir mein Schreibtisch, meine Tastatur und meine Maus lieber als den Frust daran auszulassen.
Everspace ist hübsch und echt eine Augenweide und läuft sehr gut.
Die Steuerung echt Sahne und direkt. „wenn auch unlogisch“ auch wenn keine korrekturdüsen zu sehen sind müssen ja welche da sein die das „Gefährt“ genauso schnell abbremsen wie die Booster beschleunigen. Im Vakuum ist das so, keine Reibung, bla bla bla. Ja ist halt so, lässt sich sonst nicht anders umsetzten.
Vielleich schaue ich nochmal rein, wenn ich zu gute Laune habe und bock auf Frust habe.
Sehr viele haben scheinbar spaß an dem Spiel, also komme ich zu dem Schluss:

Le di un par de oportunidades ya que me llamaba la atencion, pero como rogue-like y juego de naves espaciales se queda corto, las mejoras no son decidoras y como juego de exploracion falla en lo escencial: es monotono. 很好玩的游戏（现在本体3块加上所有DLC一共20块还说啥）
我原本是在switch上玩到everspace的（在switch上玩了268个小时），有了steam之后，一看到她打折就买了
游戏画面很真实，而且不会晕3D，玩法就是太空射击＋挖矿＋RPG＋开飞船一直闯闯闯到终点
手残党可以放心入，游戏不太考验操作（除了困难模式），而且到了后期会有很多强力的武器（特别是幽谷族符文武器和中子炮），同时网上还有很多攻略，讲的也都挺详细，所以不用担心太难。
反正都从76元降到3块了，愣着干什么，赶快入手啊

Un juego etilo clásico, muy arcade, rogue-like. Vas obteniendo mejoras, sí, pero el mayor avance es con la experiencia como jugador: saber aprovechar cada oportunidad, además de poder prever cuando la cosa no va a ir bien para mejorar tus decisiones.

操控飞船在太空中射击的肉鸽游戏，可以随时切换第一人称与第三人称，光特效严重，如果晕3D不建议游玩。

难度分为容易、普通、困难，即使是容易难度，挫败感依然较强，而一旦死亡，会重新回到起点星区1。

关卡分为1至6星区（每个星区需要自己选择分支节点来前往终点，每个分支节点是相对单独的区域，遇到的敌人、奖励的多少会有所不同，类似于《杀戮尖塔》的爬塔）以及进行最终战斗的实验室所在区域。

有局外成长，需要使用本次生存所获得的货币来升级飞船的各项指标，货币获取进度慢，死亡后方可升级。

完成一个星区的分支节点之后，会有动态漫画作为过渡的剧情。

有内置的无UI拍照模式。

At its core, Everspace is a very solid shooter with strong roguelike elements. However, the game does a rather poor job of explaining its core mechanics. You die. You die a lot. And that is entirely intentional.

When you look at the screenshots on the store page, you mostly see a space combat shooter - and that’s absolutely true. But here’s the catch: I’ve read many reviews complaining about the roguelike mechanics, and that criticism is understandable. The main goal is to reach Sector 7 (story-related). On your very first run, you’ll be lucky if you even make it to Sector 2.

After each death, you’re required to spend the credits you collected during that run. You must spend all of them - otherwise your run was essentially wasted, because unused credits decay. These credits are invested in perks that provide permanent upgrades. Do yourself a favor and prioritize the loot perk early on. It makes progression noticeably easier and allows you to unlock meaningful upgrades sooner, such as increased energy recharge rate, higher hull damage, or improved jump capabilities.

The story is quite enjoyable (I won’t spoil anything), the space combat feels great, the graphics are gorgeous, and even the soundtrack is solid. The sectors vary nicely in design, but my main point of criticism is the lack of enemy variety. You’ll mostly be fighting only Okkar (an alien race) and outlaws.

During your runs, you can craft new weapons using blueprints that first need to be discovered, and you can gather crafting materials along the way. This is a well-implemented and welcome feature. However, these upgrades are only temporary. Permanent progression - as mentioned earlier - requires spending hundreds of thousands of credits on perks.

You’re not completely alone during your journey either. An AI sidekick accompanies you, and it tends to be pleasantly sarcastic from time to time.

All in all, Everspace is a solid game that’s definitely worth investing some time into. I’ve played around 15 hours so far and I’m still having fun, even though I haven’t completed the main story yet. With three difficulty settings, the game is fairly accessible.

Of course it's repetitive dimwitE it's a rougelike (facepalm)! Sorry creator, this is actually one of the most enjoyable games I've played. Great sound design, great story line, great visuals and great controls. And most of all, it's stress free. I can die over and over again without any consequences, but while upgrading my overall experience. Great system. I'm sorry my original review was trash. This is a great game. Just one thing: the custcenes don't play on my mac. If you can fix that issue, I think it would add a bit more to the emersion of the game. Thank you for an awesome game!

This game made me throw my hands up in frustration several times in the beginning. My fault for insisting on the hardest difficulty, in all honesty, but its worth the exhilaration, especially once you start to gain a tactile grip on the flight model. Then, it feels incredibly joyous, expressive, and frenetic to me. Sometimes you get screwed by circumstance, but the speed with which you can get back into the action, and the audiovisual design being what it is... I'd say its very worth picking up today, especially on sale, if you like space shooter combat at all.

Когда то давно я проходил Galaxy on fire ещё на кнопочном телефоне,потом спустя года с появлением сенсоров и на андройде,вчера я прошел ее на пк в 4К разрешении.

Как и после прохождения любой хорошей игры ты ищешь что то похожее,что то типа продолжения,а когда натыкаешься на игру подобного жанра от того же разработчика то ты думаешь что нашел настоящий клад!

Устанавливая everspace я ожидал что-то не то чтобы на подобии GoF2,я ожидал большего,ведь столько времени прошло,наверное разрабы учли свой прошлый опыт,успех своего прошлого творения и сделали просто шедевр.
Разочарованию небыло предела,это даже не шаг назад, everspace это полная деградация.Открытый замечательный мир gof2 превратился в корридор,умирать в этой "игре" стало частью прохождения(уж не знаю какой уникум преположил что данная концепция это секрет успеха),ведь именно после смерти ты получаешь доступ к прокачке!
Ответьте себе на вопрос,как часто вы бомбите из-за того что подыхаете в играх и поймете о чем я.
Оружие просто ни о чем,даже на легком лвл вы ничего не сможете сделать с толпой которая решит вас зергануть.Это ужасно раздражает.Просто отвратительно!
В том же GoF2 я мог полностью пройти игру ни разу не выйдя из строя.
Боевка это просто тихий ужас!Если вы думаете что в GoF2 она была на примитивном уровне,то тут этот примитив возведен в абсолют,все сводится к тому что вы с врагом просто летаете по кругу на предельно близкой дистанции и истощаете друг другу хп,все,это вся боевка!
Вы умерли?не беда,начните все сначала потеряв все собранные ресурсы!

Вердикт: Everspace это яркий пример того как НЕ НАДО делать игры,как из шедевра сделать наследие в виде настоящего калла
Я принципиально не буду покупать вторую часть,попробую пиратку и блин надеюсь что там я не увижу подобного убожества как это.

Pros:
1. Great graphics
2. Spectacular ship controls
3. Great Environments - though its space, each location still feels unique

Cons:
1. The levels are very difficult - get ready to die - A lot of times!
2. There are 7 stages, each having multiple procedurally generated levels. Once you die in a level, you have to start back from stage 1 and level 1 all over again.

Hra je fain palec dolů dávám hlavně za technickou stránku hry kdy Vám hra generativně po několikáté schová jump supresor do holé skály a není se tak jak k němu dostat a tudiž jak se dostat do dalšiho levelu. Prostě frustrující zejména u hry kdy po smrti jedete vše komplet od začátku. Magořina :D Mažu to, moje trpělivost je u konce :D
