How sad that they closed the server and the Game (?!). It is still a good VR Spaceshooter.
The professional soundeffects are to be noted. They are really adding much to the Immersion.
The gamestart can be rescued with '-server' in steam settings. Thank you ThrowawayTowel3 for this tip.

Die Spielzeiten werden außerdem falsch ermittelt!

Лучшая! Oculus и контроллер X BOX, не так уж и сложно. Затягивает очень сильно. Не всем зашла из моих знакомых, но для меня это лучшее из всего предлагаемого PvP для VR. Мне очень жаль, что разрабы закрыли даннный проект раньше времени, ему нужен был разгон. Погубили адреналиновое произведение. Было круто.
I now have a game that I can no longer play, the servers have been shut down so you cannot play this game anymore at all. It also appears that you cannot request a refund.
When CCP shut the game down they should have made it either fully offline or have the ability to make servers ingame or configure private servers.
This is literally a paperweight at this point

Not a fan of this game but still a shame to see that it's gone now. What annoys me the most is that the developers could have released an open sourced server for it so the community could take over.

This was a great space VR title, but it will not run, and should no longer be sold, as the server has shut down and you will only receive an error: SSO login failed.

Horrible interface with mouse and keyboard, mediocre with controller, garbage with stick. Pain in the ass to navigate the horrible menu design.
Great dogfigher arcade sim set within the wonderful universe of EVE Online. I don't play this type of game much (although I really should) and really only jumped into this one as I enjoyed the main EVE game a lot a few years back. I found it a little difficult to get to grips with at first, but highly satisfying the more I improve.
Felt just like I was Starbuck from BSG :)
A cautious recommend as I'm not familiar with this genre, but definitely would say give it a go if like me you're a newbie to this type of game.
Uno dei primi giochi concepiti per la vr ad uscire. A differenza di altri titoli dell'epoca Eve Valkyrie vantava una grafica pompata e un background enorme e diversificato proveniente da eve online. si poteva fare tantissimo ma gli sviluppatori decisero di mettere una campagna single player che è letteralmente una presa in giro. pochissime missioni della durata di pochi minuti e altre modalità inutili e noiose. L'arena pvp che è il fulcro del gioco è ripetitiva e, sopratutto, vuota. Si gioca contro i bot perchè non ci sono giocatori. Non ci sono mitivi per acquistare questo titolo.
Play it with a VR such as Steam's or Oculus, it is a complete and amazing experience.

Doesnt work with Virtual Desktop. Wont connect to the game servers at all with virtual desktop. useless.
Cant troubleshoot because CCP literally deleted the forums and abandoned the game.

Honestly, I was a bit disappointed at graphics. It's fast, each spaceship has it's abilities, but the lobbies are dead empty, so you're mostly playing with bots, but as said at the beginning, the most annoying part is graphics. I really wasn't expecting to see such low resolution quality for a not that difficult game. Look at the Elite Dangerous and then at this game. The difference in graphics is just too huge. I didn't hate this game, but it's definitely not something I would return back to. Didn't worth my money, even If i bought it cheap on another website.

I would say this is the most fun space battle game I've played thus far. It works flawless with the HP Reverb G2 WMR and my XBOX ONE S controller. I changed the pitch control to my right stick and it worked exactly like I wanted it to. My only regret was not buying it sooner but I picked up for under $ 10 so it was an absolute steal.
It's fun, engaging and immersive even when playing against bots. It really shines with the HP Reverb G2 & I look forward to playing more often. I don't know what's up with the negatives, the game is solid as far as I'm concerned. I arrived late to this party but I'm glad I ignored the negatives and gave it a chance.
Controls do not work. Cannot get past the EULA Agreement page as the A and B buttons (and the mouse itself) does not work. Did some research and the game seems to be abandoned.
No Oculus Touch controllers support with Oculus Link. Unfortunately I had to refund.
Broke on Quest 2 as they no longer work on the game... yet that 2d mess Eve Online still gets dev time...ok
Well this game was the one that got me into vr 4 years latter still play it multiple accounts n 100s of hour still great value I see bad reviews from .5 hour I think people that did not bother to understand the game the game offers real vr immersion i give it 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

So I just started this .. i bought it in a bundle that was $15 for several games. I have no regrets.
Its campaign is reportedly short (i've just been doing flight school) but if you ever want a consequence free flight game, this is the one.. it looks gorgeous like Elite Dangerous but you dont have to go do trucking missions to afford a cool ship and get shot down in short order on a tough mission. This one?.. oh no i blew up... well anyways...
This game is like if someone said "what if it was VR and kinda battlestar galactica", complete with launch tubes!
Waste of money, can't login through an account I made, can't login through Steam, can't login through Oculus.
A truly dead game should not be sold anymore simple as that, I'm a moron and didn't read the reviews.

Flying is so smooth in this game. The first time I played it in VR I was swept off my feet by the realism. Excellent game. I hope it expands with more ships and weapons.

If you enjoy dizzying dogfights in space and this game is incredible. I hesitated to buy this because the reviews seems so polarized. Ignore them. Its a good dogfighter, with a lot of playability. Its exactly the type of game I wanted to play in VR but be prepared, Its a lot faster paced than games like Squadrons. I'm playing on an Oculus Quest 2 with an xbox controller and having an absolute blast.

I desperately want to leave a positive review for this game but I really cant. There's bugs beyond measure, and while the gameplay is fun it's borderline unplayable at times because of the amount of bugs. I'll try using a controller instead of mouse/keyboard in a few days time and see how that works out. But until then I do not recommend this

only just downloaded this on my own laptop, experience playing a few hours on my friends rig. super fun game with a vr and stick/throttle setup. only wish there was access to custom fighters from other sci-fi series (colonial vipers, raiders and some x-wings would fit in perfectly in this game). one i get my vr and throttle gear set and ready ill be sinking hours into the game like it was a career choice. in all, GET THIS GAME!!!!
When this game first released without the Warzone moniker, I gave it a bad review. I truly believed it was bad. Now, I played this game for nearly 60 hours while practicing for Star Wars Squadrons, and at even though it's basically a dead game, it's a pretty fun game, and at least it runs smoothly in VR.
UNLIKE SQUADRONS WITH THEIR DOGSH!T SHIP TURNING ANIMATIONS CAPPED AT 60FPS.
Anyhow, I wanted to say sorry to the devs of this game for taking a fat dump on it when it came out, it's actually pretty fun.
+ optisch ist das Spiel nicht schlecht und es kann sich schon sehen lassen
+ der VR-Modus ist sehr beeindruckend!
+ die Steuerung ist intuitiv und sehr simpel gehalten
- gerade im VR-Modus habe ich innerhalb von Sekunden Motion Sickness bekommen
- inhaltlich wird im Spiel sehr wenig geboten und statt der 5,4 Stunden hätte ich auch in 2 oder 3 Stunden alles sehen können
- es gibt im Grunde nur wenige Spiel-Modi und ein Teil davon ist auch noch tot langweilig
- es gibt eher belanglose Story-Fetzen und die sind am Ende so schlecht, dass man sie auch gleich hätte weg lassen können
- die im Spiel verfügbaren Schiffe stammen nicht aus dem EVE online-Universum und somit kann man dort kein Vorwissen nutzen, allgemein ist es recht umständlich im Spiel an Informationen zu gelangen
- da das Spiel niemand mehr spielt ist der darin enthaltene Multiplayer-Modus quasi tot und wird nur noch von Bots aufgefüllt
Fazit: optisch ganz nett, aber eben auch nicht mehr als eine VR-Grafik-Demo

Dont know why they stopped supporting this? A lot of work went into it just to abandon it is a bit of a shame
Good in vr if you have a a flight stick and throttle setup
Plenty to do with loads of maps to keep you busy
Bots in multiplayer are good enough for the vr experience
If your into space dog fighting theres not a lot out there so its worth a blast if you get it on steam sale. Might be quiet on the multiplayer side but some still playing. Thing is because bots are filling the gaps when waiting on live players i dont really notice or care when theres no players, When a player does join theres not much in the way of in game chat anyway so for me it still works. The cockpit vr does the job and thats good enough. I started playing this to warm up for squadrons in october so come then this might not get so much playtime.

The VR experience is really dated. I was hoping they would have support for tracked controllers, but it's just a seated model that makes involuntary movements in your peripheral vision, and look select that turns out to be rather nauseating even for a fairly experienced VR player.

I liked the fighter launch sequence, and that's about it.
Controls and UI were clunky to navigate, and actual flight controls felt too floaty, with no axis tuning at all (I use a Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS and Saitek foot pedals).
Probably good if you like arcade style shooters, but if you want a more fighter-like experience, I'd find something else.
If you do not have the ability to play the larger, more in-depth fighter games that demand a higher cost PC build (graphics card/processor-wise) then this game is perfect. I play this on a old Intel i7 processor with an old 1050i Geforce graphics card on a laptop and its gorgeous for what it is. Totally playable on Ultra settings with what I have but the smoothness/graphics ratio is perfect at High settings IMO. I am waiting to play Elite Dangerous until I have a built desktop and this game is great for quenching the dog-fight thirst. VR takes this game to a whole new level of savagery. Highly recommend.

Just recently level-barriers have been taken down so a level 5 can potentially get to taste skin burn from a level 60 :)

Was given a key to do a review and stream playing it. It was a lot of fun even though this is not my type of game, but even then it felt really smooth once i understood the controls and had TONS of fun.

Das Speil ist jetzt mein abselutes lieblings Spiel! Warum jetzt naja Dust614 was früher mein lieblings Spiel war gibt es nicht mehr deswegen habe ich mal nach alternativen nach der Einstellung von Dust514 gesucht und ich bin abselut froh das CCP das Spiel raus gebracht hat! Das einzigste was etwas schade ist das man bei der Steam Version (gibt es ja auch vür PS4) keinen Spieler verlauf hat. Und somit keinen Spieler findet mit dem es spaß gemacht hat. Ich weis das man sich das auch merken kann aber manchmal sieht man den eben nur ein Mal und dann nie wieder. Und die Option zum Anschreiben fehlt ja auch... deswegen verschwinden eben die Freunde im Kampf nach dem PvP Kamp in den Weiten des Internets -.- . Wen die Sache noch mal überarbeitet werden würde wehre alles Perfekt :)!

Acheté pour jouer avec mon casque VIVE, le support de la VR est catastrophique. Impossible d'utiliser les contrôleurs VIVE pour jouer, tout se fait au clavier et souris, même les menus! Par défaut la place du joueur se trouve au milieu de la pièce, donc chez moi très loin du PC et orienté dans le mauvais sens. Ca se corrige dans le menu du VIVE (bouton creux du contrôleur/ paramètres/ réinitialiser position assise).
J'ai voulu jouer avec mon manche de simulateur de vol (Thrustmaster T1600M), il est bien reconnu, mais l'affectation des touches est un calvaire. Les dizaines de noms de fonctions à affecter aux touches et axes sont incompréhensibles. Je galère depuis plus de 3H pour arriver à un truc vaguement jouable, donc trop tard pour un remboursement, (<2h de jeu). Il y a des fonctions que je n'arrive toujours pas à faire, comme faire un "focus" sur un adversaire, et le tuto ne m'autorise pas à aller plus loin tant que je ne l'ai pas fait.

Warning: This game no longer works.
You can play the training mission and then the game will place you in 5 matches vs AI to "rank" you. Then, it will mysteriously break. There are 4 Combat modes: PvP, Co-op vs AI, Join custom match, and Start custom match. All of those options result in "Battle not found" no matter what I do. It's like the game can connect to servers but they have blocked of actual matches.
The game looked amazing! I had crazy fun during the tutorial ranking. But sadly it looks like all the matchmaking servers are down, including whatever would allow you to just play vs the AI, making the game unplayable. Biggest frustration for me of the year. I have reported this game to Steam, but buyer beware.
Update: In someone else's review I saw mention of linking your Steam account to Valkyrie account. I went to their website and figured out how to do this. Suddenly I can get _some_ of the game modes working. I can't tell if this is related for sure or if the matchmaking is just that spotty. I will update this review if it turns out to have solved my issue. Of note: nothing in the game told me I needed to create a Valkyrie account on the web and link it to my Steam account. I wouldn't have figured this out if it wasn't for someone else's negative review!
