Bom jogo pra quem esta iniciando metroidvanias, dificuldade baixa, quantidade razoável de armas e magias ( não tem quinhentas, mas deve ter umas 50 ). Apresenta alguns bugs, travei controle, fiquei preso no mapa, travei no cenário. A parte mais difícil do jogo foi empurrar um bloco pra pegar um secret, pois o jogo estava bugando a função de empurrar. Mesmo assim recomendo pois os criadores fizeram um jogo bonito, boas animações, simples, com mapas enormes, enormes realmente. Quando eu pensava que estava no fim, abria mais um pedaço. Acho que não vale mais de 20 reais, pois nessa faixa de preço tem muita coisa melhor pra jogar.
Uma dica que não achei no jogo ou na internet, as foices tem habilidades, para ativar aperta dash, depois ataque.
outra dica, vc pode quardar um deck de equipamentos no quartel, fato útil pois só se pode carregar dois decks, mas depois de preencher o deck do quartel ele apenas permite trocas, mas se vc quebrar os itens armazenados, os espaços voltam a ficar vazios. Sobre os upgrades, se vc usar todo o dinheiro e não aparecer um bonus que tenha interesse, só sair do game e entrar novamente pois o dinheiro todo volta, desde que não entre em alguma fase.
Endless Memories - more like Endless Backtracking
I'm a fan of Metroid-style platformers and this game looked promising enough to scratch that itch. Sadly, after an initially positive impression I felt let down more and more.
Two main gripes that took a huge toll on the enjoyment factor were
1) The unclear pathing: The game doesn't really do a good job of indicating the player where to go next. It often comes down to guesswork, exploring areas just to find out that you can't do anything just yet so you gotta go back to another place. It gets tedious and frustrating over time.
2) WAY to few fast travel points! Given how large the areas are it's beyond my comprehension as to why there are so few portals to traverse the map more quickly. There's between 2 and 4 points but given the size there should be at least twice as many. So you explore any given area, find a teleport but eventually you reach a dead end. So instead of having the ability to at least get back to the start or close to it you gotta walk ALL the way back because you can't even use the teleporter as it's currently the only one active. So it's manually walking back through what seems endless amounts of samey looking screens while fighting every respawning enemies. To say it's tiresome would be an understatement!
Towards the end I didn't really bother fighting enemies any longer but just dashed by in the hopes of advancing quicker.
What else is to say?
The sort of roguelike weapon system feels misplaced. Once you have a somewhat good weapon you can level it up and keep it. But you wanna make sure not to accidently destroy a potentially good weapon capsule since it'll be gone forever. The merchants have no purpose whatsoever IMO as the weapons they sell are not only overpriced but also not really any better than the stuff you get as drops.
Character level up is done automatically which is fine but again you can up your HP and MP with spirit points you find throughout the world. That would be way better if the bonus you'd receive for doing that would be higher than 10 points for each upgrade. Given the rarity of the spirits and how they're more than often enough tucked away you should get more for an upgrade as you already get 10 per auto level.
Other than that I felt the bosses were so-so but mostly of the spammy type. Usually it's enough to have a somewhat decent weapon and just spam attacks. No real strategy required.
I did enjoy the artstyle, the music was a mix of okay tunes and rather forgetable ones.
Overall the negatives clearly outweigh the positives, especially all the needless manual backtracking. Can't recommend the game as it is right now. Maybe patch in more fast travel points, that'd be a start.
What a frustratingly terrible game. Literally stuck on the first level not knowing where to go since the game is TERRIBLE at advertising that. Can't slide, can't break the ceiling, literally can't do anything. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY. Also it looks like that terrible Android game that had a similar TERRIBLE level design. The graphics are some Early New Grounds crap.
This game has potential.
It has a game play that is catchy:
- You can collect and equip up to 3 power ups,
- You find permanent upgrades that allow you to explore new areas
- You can equip a melee and long range weapon and a spell at the same time
But I found that this game is not finished yet because:
- The player is not introduced to the story and the goal of his quest
- The graphics feel unfinished
- The animation feel unfinished
- The player meets NPC and you can't feel a connection between them and your character
The story side, graphics, animation need a boost because it is what made me I don't recommend that game

This is a soft recommendation. This game has a lot of issues but it's functional and still provided some fun. It's a light metroidvania, the world isn't all interconnected, it's split in multiple distinct levels and you have some limited amount of freedom in how you can do some actual progress. The movement upgrades you find aren't particularly fun and really only serve to get around obstacles. There's a fair amount of hidden areas and exploration to be done, but the backtracking gets a bit tedious.
The combat is fine, the game doesn't use stamina but does have a souls-esque parry mechanic that is absolutely not worth using, not worth the risk. You have two set of equipments you can quick swap. Each set is built of one weapon, one spell and one ranged weapon. The diversity in both weapons is relatively limited, a lot less than the game makes you believe. The great axe behaves exactly the same as a great sword for instance.
Your movesets are very limited. The spells are pretty fun to use though and the quick swap still allows for some fun customization. The combat is fast paced and generally works well, even if there's not that much to it. Lots of hitbox issues on enemies and bosses though. I've seen some people complain about difficulty but I personally didn't think it was that bad.
Story is pretty throwaway and the graphics are very simple, but again, functional. The animations are bit stiff, reminds me a lot of 20XX, a bit too much tweening, but I can excuse that for a tiny indie team.
I did encounter a couple weird glitches, including one that forced me to exit the game and redo a boss fight, and several other minor ones.
I finished the game in roughly 13 hours and I don't see much replay value in it. I had fun with it, clearly this is an effort by a tiny two man team, so I respect that and would say it's worth playing. The devs have also taken the time to take some player feedback into account and make some improvements to the game.

Вроде всё хорошо, но очень уж в глаза бросается мыльная графика. Как будто кто-то взял и размыл всю картинку. В настройках невозможно выбрать разрешение, и похоже, что игра не поддерживает 4К. На старых мониторах пойдёт на ура.

Amazing game, abit confusing but great story! Amazing visuals, great controlability, great gameplay, great puzzles. Loved every 16hours i used to beat it!
A very solid Metroidvania.
One of the few metroidvania that can be played in these times and that you feel the passion in the work that the developers did. This genre is scarce lately, in this there is a great job done.
Overall, it's a great game. Good music, good weapons, good history and I can go on with a huge list.
As a plus, it would be great if they simplified the way to change weapons, not having to go to the menu to make the changes.
The truth is that I am not to leave reviews but I understood that he deserved it.

DO NOT buy this game. The achievements are bugged, most of which you just can't get.
On top of that, the game's pros do not outweigh the cons.
You get a slew of weapons, magic, and ranged weapons, and even have two slots each to equip them, however, you don't have a button to swap your loadout requiring you to pause the game and select which one you want to be swapped.
One of my biggest annoyances with this game is something that not even DARK SOULS DOES! When using your potion (Which you CAN choose between magic, health, or both, but the only one that will actually save you is the health one as the other two have such low yield that it is a handicap) and you get hit, by ANY damage, you not only stop the use of the potion but waste the use of the potion. And that will happen a lot.

絵を見てどの系統の武器か分からない。
武器を保存しておけないから拾った武器が弱かったら目も当てられない。
物語が進むと得られる能力は物語の進行にしか関わらないものが多い。
と思ったら、時々攻撃能力や防御能力として使える物があったり良く分からない。
何しろしっかりした説明がない。
三段ジャンプorジャンプ強化がないと移動できないと思われる場所があるのだが、
能力を全て得た後、そんな能力を獲得する欄がなかったなんてのもある。
拾えるスキルも効果があるのかどうか分からないものが多い。
説明されている効果自体も微妙だから使えればラッキー・・・とはならない。
なにせ武器依存のスキルがあるが、武器がどの系統か良く分からない物が多い。
（前述の通り見ただけでは分からないし、装備しても分からない物もある。）
武器は近接・射撃・魔法を二つずつ持てるが、キー一つで切り替えができない。
わざわざインベントリを開く必要がある。
先程のドロップ博打が嫌だからと二つ目の武器を保存用に使っても
拾うたびにインベントリで切り替えて拾い、
もう一度使っている武器に切り替えなければならない。
更に射撃は射程が画面の1/3届くかどうかの上に弾数制限（10発程度）があり、
そこまで強いわけではない。
キーの設定もいい加減。
武器などを拾うキーとフック移動などのキーが同じ”アクションキー”とされている。
フックの近くで拾おうとすると勝手に移動して何時までも拾えないなんてことも起きる。
戦闘でも雑魚は良いが、ボス戦でどこを攻撃すれば良いか分からない事が多い。
酷い時はヒット音＋ダメージ表示があるのにボスのゲージが減らないなんて事もあった。
（別の場所を攻撃したらあっさり通った。）

Esse jogo tá muito bugado ainda. As vezes o controle para de responder, e nos menus eu só consigo mexer com o mouse. Aí tenho q ficar trocando de controle e mouse só pra mexer no menu. Além disso, mesmo com graficos simples, o jogo dá lag as vezes. Vou esperar sair do acesso antecipado pra voltar a jogar e daí ver se mudo minha análise
優點：打擊感及美術都不錯，探索要素也不少
缺點：
遊戲教學不及格，武器使用方式及蓄力都沒說明。
角色從頭到尾幾乎都沒變，只能靠不同武器及技能來變化，但遊戲內機制只容許同時擁有兩種武器，也沒有道具箱之類的功能，導致每次遇到新武器及技能都只能與身上的取捨。
傳送點很少但地圖超大，甚至沒有世界地圖這種功能，要探索只能一個個夢境慢慢踩，真的痛苦

ndless Memories keeps the spirit of Castlevania SOTN alive. Remember when you had to explore the entire castle full of secrets and enemies on all sides? Well, Endless Memories has a whole complex world of different dreams full of secrets and enemies to explore.
Unlike SOTN and other Metroidvania, this one has combat that does more honor to its root genre, Action-Adventure. The game combat is very fluid and fast, not as slow as in the others. As for the equipment, a lot of loot!. From short-range Daggers to Great Sword of considerable range damage.
It is one of those that will get to the light and must be added to your list.
A great and big 2D action adventure game. I’m in love with this one.
Beautiful art, a lot of content and great animations. Every hidden spot has a nice reward. It has A LOT of loot. All kind of weapons and spells, runes that give you helpful attributes, huge variety of enemies and bosses, different upgrades NPC and great worlds to explore.
I totally recommend this game if you’re looking for a new action adventure title with exploration.

Excellent MetroidVania. I had a time that I did not find one like this. Wide variety of melee weapons, magic, and ranged weapons. Many enemies at the level, graphics with many details, a lot of content in general.
At first, it gave me problems with the antivirus. I wrote to the developers, and they solve the problem. I do not regret at all having waited. It is worth giving it a try.

I don't know where to start, what I've played has fascinated me. Mainly the music of each area that transports you to incredible places, the great variety of weapons that you can obtain in treasures and eliminating enemies. A totally satisfying game.

Endless Memories is a platform game closely linked to the Metroidvania genre in terms of exploration, variety of enemies, and bosses.

I bought the pc version to see if it is worth buying on consoles. I'm liking it, I'd love a switch version. So far I have liked this type of Metroidvania because it has more action than the ones I had played before. Bloodstained for example. I liked it, but the gameplay is a bit slow. In Endless Memories, the gameplay is more similar to Dead cells or Ori.
I liked the way it is focused on secrets and a lot of loot. I do not know how much I'll progress in the PC version since I prefer to finish it on the console. Recommended if you are looking for a new Metroidvania title.
A hidden Metroidvania? I had not heard about this, but I find it very interesting. So far I've been hooked. Good graphics and good gameplay, few in this genre are of this graphic style.

A metroidvania style platformer where we go into and explore strange and different dream worlds, each having its own unique environments and enemies. The story-telling is generally quite minimalistic and not much is being told to us directly. Rather we uncover what's happening bit by bit as we explore each dream world.
It's a standard metroidvania game with big areas that require exploration and parts of those areas being gated off till we acquire an ability later that lets us access them. There are traps and enemies to overcome and various platforming sections. We have slots for a standard melee weapon, a ranged weapon, and a magic spell, and we can equip up to 2 of each of those and change between them. There are also RPG elements and ways to level up and improve the character.
Reasonably nice stylistic visuals, ambient background music, impactful sound effects, and slick UI. Best to play with a gamepad. Controls are good and smooth, although when swapping between the two weapon sets, I've not found a way to do it mid-action and could only do it from the menu.
Generally it's a decent metroidvania platformer, but it feels just like another metroidvania and doesn't do anything new. So if you've played many great metroidvanias already and love the genre and don't mind more of the same, then it's not a bad game to try out.

《无尽回忆（Endless Memorie）》发布于2020年10月20日。
对steam和大部分玩家来说，这是平平无奇的一天，和往常差不多，共有超过70款游戏以及DLC选择在这一天正式公布，不出意外的话，它们中的80%会在接下来的一两个星期里被彻底遗忘。而留下来的作品中，除去《失忆症：重生》这样的“名门之后”和《Solasta: Crown of the Magister》这样的伪3A作品，共有四款独立游戏得到了玩家的认可，至少收获了特别好评的优秀口碑，。
在这四款游戏中，《无尽回忆》恐怕是最没有特点的一个：它既缺乏《Kandidatos Kart》的恶搞精神，也没有《projet BLARI》复古气息拉满的独特气质，也不可能如《Perilous Warp》那般让人肾上腺素飙升，似乎平凡到有些格格不入，可如果非要为《无尽回忆》漂亮的口碑数据找个理由，答案其实倒也显而易见：无论参考何种标准，《无尽回忆》绝对都是几款游戏中卖相最好的一个，哪怕不曾进入游戏，那酷炫的预告片已经将这部作品堪称精细的建模，着实不错的光影，丰富多变的武器打击效果和简洁舒适的界面一览无遗地呈现在诸位玩家面前了。毫无疑问，这良好的第一印象绝对有助于《无尽回忆》在与同类游戏的竞争中先声夺人，看来“人不可貌相”，对游戏似乎并不适用。
然而第一印象只能暂时收下玩家的交口称赞和慷慨解囊，若想要将它们彻底留在身边，Homunculus Games还需要在“卖相”之外拿出更多对玩家更有吸引力的游戏内容，再不济也得让至少让《无尽回忆》前两个小时的游戏体验对得起那惊艳的第一印象；于是差不多还是在教程里，制作组便忙不迭地祭出了《无尽回忆》的另一个杀手锏——优秀的打击手感，无论是大剑巨斧凌空而下的势大力沉，还是虎爪匕首的撕裂空气的疯狂连段，亦或是子弹与魔法刺破音障的完美连线，这些仿佛能引起同感的视觉享受在《无尽回忆》的二维场景中得到了略带夸张的还原，其质量之高足以让玩家——至少是我自己，沉浸在肾上腺素飙升的兴奋中无视了游戏教程的文字提示，从而对《无尽回忆》的动作游戏类型产生深深的误解。
同样的，也至少是对我自己来说，痛苦的领悟也比预想中来的更突然：我想不通，明明自己已经屈辱性地将难度调成了简单，为何还是打不过面前的几只虫子；明明自己之前可以站直了和骑士们对砍，如今却连硬吃两个“虫跳劈”的血量韧性都没有了……这永无止境的死亡循环强迫我我重新熟悉了游戏教程，想起了这游戏有着闪避自己无敌和招架眩晕对手的设计，随后踌躇满志打算回来一雪前耻，却发现一切如旧，死神似乎依然与我更有缘份……
直到很后的后来，我才发现原来是自己走错了方向，没有按剧情要求先打穿右边的森林，就来到了高级怪扎堆的“禁穴”，迎接主角的自然便是九死一生了。虽说不仔细看主角和NPC的对话是我有错在先，但这次“误会”也着实暴露了《无尽回忆》中不少类似可互动物品不够醒目，缺乏明确方向指引，以及不显示区域难度等级这样的小问题，虽说无伤大雅，但也切实影响到了玩家的游戏体验。
不过在某种程度上，这段理论上并不愉快的游戏经历却也让我更清楚地意识到了《无尽回忆》动作设计上的匠心独运：即便是在二维空间的战斗中，除了上文提及的闪避格挡外，我还可以通过类似背刺的手段大大增加自己的攻击，用弓箭魔法等远程手段对敌人进行恰到好处的骚扰……总之在这些技术的经验的帮助下，与虫子的斗智斗勇虽然无比凶险，但也不是毫无胜算，后来只要稳扎稳打（配合必要的跑酷）我至少有五成把握可以探索到地图（当时可探索到的）尽头，由此产生的成就感甚至让我有了在洛斯里克飞檐走壁的错觉。只是很可惜，当我意识到自己的问题，开始根据自身级别量力而行后，尽管有时战斗依然颇有挑战性，但却再也找不回那美好的错觉了，相信这也是Homunculus Games在《无尽回忆》中极力削弱角色扮演（以下简称RPG）元素的重要原因之一吧。
确实，乍一看这结论简直匪夷所思，明明在《无尽回忆》中角色成长，武器替换，装备等级，巨大宝箱，地下城探索等等所有经典RPG元素一应俱全，“积极削弱”又谈何而来？但是，可能是自己孤陋寡闻了吧，这么多年的游戏生涯里我还真没见过如此“败家”的RPG游戏主角：武器装备只能近战，远程和魔法各留一个，多出来的只好就地销毁换成金币；恢复道具增益buff只能即食即得，就不能先放在背包里以备不时之需；不仅如此，本作升级加点只能让系统全权负责，几乎完全剥夺了玩家体验人物成长的快乐；而技能点数更是完全不存在，您只能期待自己尽快捡拾到最适合的技能装备……这样看来，护甲，饰品连同布娃娃系统这些高级玩意儿的缺失倒也顺理成章了。
种种迹象表明，Homunculus Games要么是打算完成一场“制作极致简洁的新概念RPG游戏”的猎奇试验，并完全不在乎由此而来的重重限制对游戏可玩性的毁灭打击；要么就只是在《无尽回忆》中让RPG元素为更成熟有趣的动作游戏增光添彩，自然会在必要时降低其存在感，谨防喧宾夺主……考虑到目前《无尽回忆》所呈现的最终效果，我还是觉得后一种说法更有说服力——或者说，恐怕我也只能选择相信后者，因为作为一款RPG实验，或者哪怕只是一款完整的RPG游戏，《无尽回忆》的表现实在难称合格，和这游戏真正的问题相比，上文度细节的种种吐槽简直像是温和的无理取闹。
简单说，个人认为作为一款RPG游戏，《无尽回忆》最大的问题在于它没能构建一个合理而迷人的奇幻世界。没错，从游戏最开始的背景上看，Homunculus Games其实完全没必要在游戏中构建这样一个世界，序章过后的一堆高科技设备已然明确地告诉了我们的主角并非传统意义上在异世界冒险的勇者，只是可以在一个个如真似幻的梦境和现实间来回穿梭的战士罢了。这样的设定确实为上文的诸多简化和极为敷衍的NPC互动提供了至少说得过去的解释，也大大降低了玩家对故事接受程度的阈值，制作组完全可以借此优势彻底抛开逻辑性，构造一个简单粗糙但可以让人专心打打杀杀的世界——放心，只要战斗爽快奖励合理，没有人会关心自己因何而战。
然而，在《无尽回忆》的叙事上，Homunculus Games却偏偏有着不合时宜的责任感，他们从一开始就用一个压迫感十足的BOSS为整个故事订好了最终的悬念，又不断在梦境内外安排莫名其妙的剧情暗示玩家目之所及的一切其实另有玄机，甚至会在玩家与商店店主这类功能性NPC的对话中加入些玄之又玄的内容指引玩家自行脑补——这手法倒是相当娴熟，只是若想让玩家不把这些所谓的“预言”当成是NPC嗨翻了毒蘑菇后的痴痴呓语，Homunculus Games需要至少将游戏中梦境内外的世界提升到逻辑自洽的水平，这可是目前《无尽回忆》（中的世界设定）完全不具备的。
考虑到Homunculus Games确实有着不错的叙事技巧，我们不能排除《无尽回忆》采用了碎片化叙事的可能性，如此而来我觉得一切莫名其妙就只是没有找到足够数量的NPC，触发所有包含信息的故事桥段罢了。但如果真有人做到了心情愉快的探索全图，并用些关键证据来打我的脸，我不仅会甘愿承认失败，还会带着最高的敬意称其为真正的猛士，甚至不会跑去验证这证据是否真实——没办法，这游戏的地图设计对我这种路痴形小龙虾太有针对性了，在几个小时的体验里，上文提及的“小问题”一直让我的探索之旅备受折磨，更要命的是虽然游戏有着还算清晰的地图，但它完全无法显示那些随着游戏故事推进可以通过的诸多障碍，于是很多时候，我兴致勃勃的地图探索最后都以不得不原路折回而告终，可此时之前打过的怪物解除的陷阱也再次刷新复活，严阵以待了，于是就这样，一场场重复而毫无意义的恶战将我探索的欲望一点点吞噬殆尽了。
那既然如此又何必多做探索呢？只是一路杀到下一个存盘点，并沿途享受随机获得的武器和魔法带来的惊喜不好吗？我不能确定Homunculus Games在《无尽回忆》开发的最后阶段是否有着类似的想法，但从站在普通玩家的角度本作的实质体验上看，这才应该是享受这款带着不成熟RPG元素的动作冒险游戏的正确姿势。不过无论如何，我都要对此向Homunculus Games表达自己的感激之情，毕竟他们在《无尽回忆》中采用的，扬动作冒险之长，避角色扮演之短的策略在实质上表达了自己的谦逊和自知，至少赋予了玩家足够的尊重和自由，允许其不为自己搞砸了的RPG部分买单，光是这一点就已经有了足够的说服力，让我将好评双手奉上了。
更何况作为一款动作冒险游戏，《无尽回忆》的核心体验堪称优秀，绝对值得花些时间细细研究。
《Endless Memories》是一款手绘风的2D类银河战士恶魔城横版平台动作游戏。故事的背景按照商店页是发生在非线性梦境世界，然而基本上没有剧情，开头有简略的战斗指引后就没了，在梦之实验室间穿行进入别的世界后也只有第一次击败敌人取得闪电球能力有个NPC给的指引，其他全靠自己探索开地图。[spoiler]而且地图上标注的基本上只有传送点存档点商人之类的，也没有给标注功能，很多时候本打算回头再来，最后却会不知道自己要找的东西在哪，比如蠕虫肉到手后却忘记了要这东西的人在何处。[/spoiler]
游戏绘制的动作十分流畅，角色画风也很精细，不过与之相反的是跳跃的手感有些粘滞，尤其是向上的房间，只要能够到上面的入口出去后就自带推力[spoiler]可能这就是梯云纵罢[/spoiler]。而打击感虽然不错，战斗却不太爽快，敌人宛若疯狗，自身的攻击破绽也很大，往往不能在敌人近身前秒了他就要换一段血。
武器的种类还算多，魔法也有普通的元素魔法和多种召唤兽之分，甚至用不到还可以现场砸烂换钱。能力的开发和这类游戏的传统一样是随着游戏进度解锁的[spoiler]但是我不得不说闪电球在键鼠操作下是我在这类游戏里见过最难受的位移机制了，经常出现诸如先同时按WE再同时按DE然后接跳的要求，四周往往还一堆尖刺，不得不一直连打WE在一个闪电球上跳，等想好路线再动手，即使如此操作起来还是蛮别扭的，除此之外没有什么大问题，可能手柄体验会好些？[/spoiler]

Довольно оригинальная стилистика, которая по началу кажется весьма ламповой, но очень быстро начинает раздражать. В первую очередь безликостью локаций, в этой игре в принципе невозможно запомнить что где находится из-за совершенно одинаковых тайлов на всю локацию.
Местным левел и мапдизайнерам просто хочется ноги переломать. Бектрекинг ради бектрекинга по абсолютно безлики локациям убивает всякое желание играть в эту игру. Сейв поинты и телепорты разбросаны вообще без какой-либо логики. В одном месте тебе нужно пробежать через три комнаты от сейвпоинта до боссрума, к слову говоря чтобы добраться к ближайшему сейвпоинту от этого боссрума, который находится буквально в соседней комнате, нужно пробежать половину локации, и таких мест к сожалению больше одного на игру. В другой же локации у тебя зачем-то все сейвспоты продублированы, и в 4 места локации сейвспоты находят в одной комнате одна от другой, зачем?
Боевка более чем спорная. Тяжелое оружие вообще неюзабельно в силу получасовых виндапов и микроскопического урона, выходит чем выше скорость атаки - тем эффективнее оружие, за исключением тожей с ножницами, у них сектора атаки никакие. Топовое оружие - фисты, на втором месте одноручные мечи, на третьем полторашки с косами (тупо разные скины, а так механики идентичные). Первый щит и кнут я вообще получил в шестой локации.
Короче говоря главным минусом этой игры я бы назвал её неоправданную растянутость. Будь локации раза в 3-4 меньше, они бы не так сильно уломляли бектрекингом и свой однообразнотью и от игры оставались бы только положительные эмоции. Но похоже левелдизайнер вместо качества решил взять количеством, не понимая что эфект будет прямо противоположным.
Excellent game, very good graphics and adequate music. They have thought to make it multiplayer offline, as to play it among several or it could be another way. But the game with all its concept is great.
So let me make this clear I am really enjoying this game, however after the last update my virus software keeps thinking part of it is a virus. The game can't be played until I uninstall it and download it again. I tried telling my virus software to not look into the game files, but it didn't work. While this problem is just an annoyance, It really shouldn't be a problem, and until its fixed I can not give the game a thumbs up.
It is a great game, with varied difficulty levels that challenge your skills, graphics more than pleasing to the eye, very harmonious melodies and according to the drama of each place. I would like there to be something that tells me where to find the chests. But in general and so far I have enjoyed it and I recommend it.
I have played about 7 hours so far. There is just some minor issues with the map but nothing of concern. I think this game is a lot of fun and there is plenty of options. The first 2 hours of the game is uneventful but it really is quite fun after that. The bosses are good too and the enemies change a lot.
I have to give this a thumbs up.
If you're looking for a good Metroidvania to play, because maybe you've finished Hollow Knight, Ori, and Axiom Verge, then this one is a good time! The lead developer is responsive to posts on the Steam Community and cares about making sure bugs are stomped when found, and that the game is balanced and fun.
I don't even know where to start, I liked it from start to finish, I enjoyed it, the difficulty levels of the enemies are excellent I did not feel abused at any time but it has been a challenge anyway. The bosses I've been through have certainly given me water to drink, but I've still enjoyed them. The truth is very good, I recommend it with my eyes closed.
Very good game, it has everything you need to stay playing it for hours, I have enjoyed every moment. It has a lot of content. Excellent.

Исследование мира:
Постоянно впадаешь в ступор и не понятно куда идти. Открываешь карту, смотришь, вроде везде уже был кроме пары мест где для прохода куда-то нужна какая нибудь абилка, где её искать не понятно. Эту проблему сильно усугубляет карта, так как ты типо постоянно в разных мирах и не можешь видеть карту целиком и переключатся между мирами, и если тут ты не видишь куда идти, то чтобы посмотреть другой мир тебе надо потратить дофига времени чтобы тупо до него дойти и открыть его карту... А телепорты все работают только в пределах одного мира...
Постоянные бектрекинги, причём обязательные. Вот ты пошел в мир 3 упёрся, дальше пройти не можешь, иди в мир 4 там найди абилу, теперь упрись в мире 4, вернись в мир 3 с помощью абилы пройди дальше, найди другую абилу, теперь опять вернись в мир 4... Эта бессмысленная беготня через весь уровень туда суда очень бесит...
Управление.
На мой взгляд управление какое то топорное, не удобное и не отзывчевое. Ты бъешь в права и хочешь развернутся для удара в другую сторону? Просто повернуть стик не достаточно, пока ты не перестанешь атаковать, все твои удары будут идти в туже сторону хоть куда ты стик не верти... Прыжки топорные, часто не можешь с первого раза запрыгнуть куда нибудь, не хватает буквально милиметра. Последний раз такие топорные прыжки помню в rogue legacy. Ни в каких холоунайтах, салт энд санктори да даже в недавно вышедшем Vigil таких проблем не припомню.
Боёвка и лутинг.
Вся сложность игры и боёвки заключается в рандоме. Не падают хорошие шмотки? Будешь страдать и умирать на боссах. Упала хорошая эпическая пушка с высокой скоростью и уроном да и ещё проклятье на x2 к урону? Заходишь на арену к большинству боссов и тупа в лоб закликиваешь его автоатакой за 3-4 секунды...
В общем на мой взгляд у игры есть потенциал, но пока он в хлам убит геймдизайном

Казалось бы, в игре нет явных сильно раздражающих косяков, только вот ничего выдающегося тоже нет. И получается, что перед нами проходняк.
Приятная картинка, единый стиль, приятная анимация. Но ощущение, что художник не определился что конкретно он хочет изобразить. В Endless Memories есть и мрачные подземелья, и гробницы, и разнообразные локации типа магических лабораторий. Но вот берём Vigil The Longest Night с его мрачностью. Или Shantae and the seven sirens с его сочными цветами. Или даже Timespinner с его пикселями. Сложно это объяснить. У троих перечисленных есть свои особенности, у Endless Memories таких запоминающихся особенностей нет. Но ругать рисовку не могу.
Игра грузится моментально. Вылетов не было. Чего не скажешь о багах. Главный герой несколько раз переставал реагировать на нажатие атаки, когда пропускал удар от врага. Через время отпускало, да и не так часто встречались такие баги, но они были. Двойной прыжок постоянно заедает - вместо ожидаемого двойного прыжка герой прыгает только один раз, а потом со свистом летит вниз. Это, скорее всего, я торопился, но не факт. Под финал залез в комнату и не смог выбраться (перед финальным боссом если пойти не направо, а налево)... Всё прошарил до пикселя, все стены мечом изрубил, прыгал как только можно. Никак не вылезти. Ушёл на перезагрузку, благо там не далеко.

Боёвка стандартная для жанра. У нас есть основное оружие, лук, магия и набор особых действий, которые мы будем собирать по ходу прохождения (подкат, двойной прыжок, топот и т.д.). И вот вроде бы всё как у всех, но скучнова-то. В Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night боёвка куда разнообразней, в Vigil The Longest Night сложнее, в Shantae аркаднее. В Endless Memories враги, как и боссы, проходятся одинаково всю игру: прыжок, уход от атаки, удар, доходим до 2-й стадии босса, подключаем магию и банально передамаживаем босса, изредка отходя на отхилл при необходимости.
Прокачка в игре есть. Каждый прокачанный уровень - прибавка к характеристикам. В потаённых местах мы будем находить дополнительные случайные прибавки к характеристикам, синие и красные шарики (собрав 3 можно увеличить на 10 ХПшку или ману), какую-то клетку с полумесяцем, но для чего она я не понял... Мы можем заточить оружие у кузнеца на +3, увеличить его редкость, добавить дополнительный параметр, вроде кровотечения и т.д. Ну и у нас есть 3 слота для карт с дополнительными свойствами типа вероятность оглушения, вампиризма, усиление атаки и прочее. Вот. Казалось бы - чего для счастья ещё надо? А вот надо.
Оружие сыпится с мобов или не покупается у торговца за бешеные деньги. Что конкретно упадёт с мобов и с каким показателем урона - решает рандом. Смекнув практически моментально, что здесь решают железки с максимальными показателями - я забрёл поглубже во второй мир, выбил двуручную булаву, параллельно прокачавшись, слетал к кузнецу и заточил булаву на +3. Прошёл с ней 2\3 игры. Лишь ближе к завершению нашёл двуручку ещё круче, которую заточил также на +3 и с ней прошёл игру уже до конца. Чего такого? В Vigil The Longest Night я тоже с один оружием проходил. Но в Vigil The Longest Night гемплей менялся за счёт новых движений, а тут ничего кроме прыжка и удара я не использовал всю игру. Ну ещё магию добавлял - со мной меч летал, атака и радиус которого, аналогичны булаве.
И получается такая ситуёвина: любой босс пинается до второй стадии аккуратно прыжком и ударом. А после я забиваю на всё и встав вплотную, начинаю рубку. Карта на вампиризм + прибавка вампиризма от дополнительных параметров самой булавы не оставляли боссу никаких шансов. Против мобов была карта оглушения, чего хватало с головой. Третья карта была проклятье - яд короче. И можно было бы менять оружие, менять карты, но зачем? Этот набор работает и так.

Кстати, о боссах. Видно, что была попытка их разнообразить и первые боссы действительно меня сносили несколько раз, потому что я был ещё без булавы и не прокачанный. Но с появлением булавы сложность куда-то испарилась. Да и не впечатляют боссы совсем, хотя ругать за примитивизм их тоже нельзя - у всех по две стадии, если сильно тупить, то можно отъехать даже с булавой. Халявы как в Shantae тут нет.
Ну а теперь о главном недостатке игры. Карта просто огромная. С перебором огромная. Локации визуально разнообразные, но смысл один и то же - прыжок с ударом. Иногда попадаются места с платформингом, где сложность доставляет разве что двойной прыжок, который сбоит. Платформинг тут щадящий. И было бы всё это огромнейшее пространство интересно исследовать, только вот зачем? У меня мой чудо меч, заточенный на +3 с атакой 220-240, мне ничего больше не надо, подносите боссов. Но куда идти? На каждой огромной локации по 2-3 портала в другие огромные локации. Схема прохождения постоянно перебрасывает из мира в мир. Карта мало того, что не помогает, так на ней ещё и пометку нельзя создать. Это кошмар. Я начинаю кружить и собирать секреты в местах, куда раньше не мог попасть без способности. И что там в этих секретиках? 5-10 местной валюты (у меня 16к) и рандомная железка с показателями урона в 20-50 (у меня 220-240)...
[i]Хозяйке на заметку - как только попадается редкий сундук - разворачивайтесь и ищите босса в другом месте.[/i]
Всё чаще по ходу прохождения возникает ситуация, когда покупать или прокачивать нечего, а идти надо не понятно куда. Мобы возрождаются при смене комнат (экранов), многие сильно мешают в местах, где надо прыгать. А бегать кругами здесь придётся достаточно. Есть точки телепорта, да. Только вот расставлены они очень и очень далеко. Зато сохранения на каждом шагу. Я бы вот телепорт совместил бы с сохранениями. За 14,5 часов прошёл игру. И она утомила.

Что ещё добавить? Музыка никакая. Скучная и безыдейная. Сюжет настолько невнятно подаётся, что в данном случае (о ужас!) лучше были бы постоянные записки или подача в духе Дарк Солс. Ну и платформинг на протяжении всей игры банальный, однако под финал всё же было несколько интересных моментов.

Endless Memories ни в коем случае не мусор. Достойная игра, возвращаться к которой я точно не буду. Но если Вы прошли Hollow Knight, Vigil The Longest Night, Shantae and the seven sirens, Timespinner, Bloodstained, Ori, Wonder Boy, Salt & Sanctuary, Dust: An Elysian Tail, то может быть пора переключиться на другой жанр? А если серьёзно, то пока ждём Silksong надо же во что-то играть, верно?

Very good, very entertaining. I recommend using a control to play it, it is a different experience than if you play it with a keyboard. I recommend it because it challenges your skills.
Scratches the metroidvania itch. For a two man team this is an amazing came. I encountered a few glitches but even Hollow Knight has glitches. Would recommend to anyone who likes these sort of games.
Good combat, a lot of variety of weapons and enemies in the time I've been playing. I predict it will be a good metroidvania, let's see how it develops.
Definitely a work of art. From the graphics, with their smallest details, to the music. All perfectly crafted maps, there is no way to get stuck anywhere, and they are quite a challenge. The truth is that I liked this title. I would love a Boss Rush mode in the future.
Note: I've had to modify my review again. The developers are still apparently taking feedback into consideration, and making changes to the game. That is commendable, but if you're on the fence, maybe wait a little and see if the updates address any of the below concerns.

After the update, things have significantly improved. I'll be trying it out, and this can be considered a first-impression. Thanks to the updates, it's gone from a lackluster game to one that I would consider a diamond in the rough. It's got its own style, so if you like hoarding, you may be put off by having to discard your weapons, and the lack of items. But apart from that, it's now pretty fun to play, and looks good while doing it. Fans of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and Hollow Knight may find the itch scratched.

[h1]The good parts[/h1]
[b]+ Combat.[/b] After the update, combat is now definitely more fun for me. You can cancel attacks with dash, you can cancel dash with attacks and jumps, and you can do the Megaman X style dash-jumps now. Sweet!
[b]+ Enemy variety.[/b] Even in the first village, you'll meet new enemies almost each map, which is pretty cool. The designs don't seem entirely copy-pasted as well, which is a nice touch.
[b]+ Enemy tells.[/b] It is sometimes difficult to dodge enemy attacks (worms in particular), but you'll eventually be able to tell when an enemy will attack, and a lot of it has to do with the sound. The visual tells are either subtle or non-existent though, so in a group fight, it's going to be a right mess.
[b]+ Graphic style.[/b] Lovely colours, and the design of the map really is lovely. This is probably the game's strongest point, in addition to their animation. It's quite an eye-buffet, and if I could have enjoyed the combat, I probably would've kept playing just to see more of the world.
[b]+ Sound design.[/b] The game sounds good, with sword slashes and impact making satisfying wooshes and bumps. When you hit grass, there's a nice rustle, and when you hit money chests, there's a nice thunk to it. Sadly, the music is just "meh", and doesn't stand out.
[b]+ Has a map.[/b] I'm a sucker for any game with maps. Has sufficient enough branching paths and teasers to keep you excited for the next ability. Sadly, no map tools like Hollow Knight, so you just gotta remember where everything is (or someone dedicated makes a detailed map)
[b]+ Some kind of customization option.[/b] You can choose "rune memories" to equip yourself with that will give you some bonuses, which is fun. But apart from that, it's quite limited. No cosmetic changes, no armour, no items. After the update though, you can keep about three weapons (two on yourself, one in the memory rune shop's "storage").
[h1]The Cons[/h1]
[b]- The difficulty spikes.[/b] Going from one room to another, you wouldn't expect huge difficulty jumps. Unfortunately, that is not the case. From enemies dealing between 5 to 10% of your hp in one room with manageable speeds, you'll go to the next and get bombarded by knife frogs on some kind of designer drugs which stab repeatedly with little tell, and Tyranno-on-stilts-asaurus-rexes which bite off 30% of your HP with a single blow. The first boss, Captain Croig, is also a huge difficulty spike because he acts fast, and has little tell, and deals loads of damage per blow.
[b]- Some enemy tells are without warning.[/b] There are some enemies (specifically, the silk worm which spits white junk on you) whose tells are almost non-existent, and whose attacks are almost immediate. While you can dodge these eventually simply by jumping when first seeing them, it doesn't feel like a particularly good design choice.
[b]- You can't hoard equipment, only replace them.[/b] Initially, you only had one weapon slot. Thankfully, this problem has been hugely mitigated by having a second slot. You still can't keep more than two of your favorite weapons, but it's better than having no backup at all if you don't like what you changed to.
[b]- Arrows are limited. And so is mana.[/b] This probably means that the game wants you to play melee more often. In addition, you can only have 10 arrows, but if you don't hit enemies, you could pick it up from the floor or walls. Sadly, the recovery time is short, so most of the time you won't make it if it travels the full distance.
[b]- No journal.[/b] If you don't write it down yourself, you probably won't be able to progress easily. And bear in mind, at this stage, there is no guide on Steam, and as far as I can tell, no wiki.
[b]- Death takes half of your money. [/b] It wants to be a Metroidvania, and a Souls-like at the same time. But don't worry, this is a small problem compared to the next part.
[b]- There's nothing much to buy.[/b] At the starting village, you only get to buy weapons (thankfully, the developers have made it so store items are epic only). This has, however, been heavily improved on by giving access to the smith, memory rune shop, and some other NPCs after the first boss fight. You still can't buy basic items to help you, but this is a great start.
I haven't spent a lot of time on it, but I have a goal to finish it, even if it's little by little. The first time I played it, I spent more than 30 minutes, and today I have a little less than 2 hours. I forgot the time and kept playing. The truth is, it is a game that makes you thirsty to know more, to get what you need to level up your weapons, to buy better gear or a better pet. The battles are excellent. I always felt that boss battles were competitive, level, and challenged my skills. Enough content to entertain you for a few hours, an immense variety of weapons and enemies. Recommended for all audiences.
Excellent game. I had not come across a Metroidvania like that in a long time. Correctly drawn maps. The graphics are pleasing to the eye, and the music is delightful. The confrontations with the enemies, from the smallest to the largest, are satisfactory. The difficulty according to the progress in the game. Very well developed. I recommend it 100%
What caught my attention the most at first glance were the handmade graphics with a lot of details. The music, so far, totally from the place.
Enemies and bosses' difficulty is on point. I recommend Endless Memories to all Metroidvania fans. A game where you can do a rewarding exploration and have challenging encounters.

The part that has caught me the most is that as there is a great multitude of weapons and magic, you can build the character in the way that best suits your way of playing, Big swords are op!

Ok so game first comes out, nice we get the game and realize it has issues
There's a massive performance issue in this game with so many good pc's because it keeps weirdly enough forcing vsync on and off constantly.
I was actually able to fix this by editing the game files and changing certain things, which worked now I am getting 60fps stable at all time
Now the developers decided "hey lets make patches that will ruin that fix and make it unavoidable" so now im getting massive fps drops and game is unplayable again and the same fix didnt work and I cant really do anything
This is about the performance issues, its not like the game has any actual damn graphics settings, its just vsync on/off or full screen, not that the first option ever works actually
Now lets talk about the game itself

[h1]Hit animation is one of the worst things i'v experienced[/h1]
- when you get attacked, your character lights up and the game sort of does a "Freeze" animation, this basically I assume to let you know when to parry ...what the actual holy snickers is this game design ? I can honestly say I have never seen a more horrible idea executed even more horribly like this before in a video game
So every time you get attacked you have no idea if you successfully parried or didnt cuz the flash blinds you and you can only tell if you kept your eye on your HP bar but like who does that ? its all the way on the corner, why ? Why not just make your character get hit normally without flashing and shaking and slowing down, why not just OH I got hit ok time to hit back, what is this game design ?
Metroidvanias rewards exploring this game punishes it on an extreme level, super cool looking chest ? Oh no it dropped a spell/weapon that is actually much weaker than what you have
Cuz enemies drops weapons or spells, they have a lot of variety of stuff to pickup which I appreciated but the fact they drop that stuff all the time makes all the chests actually useless, almost every secret chest i found somewhere contains something I end up destroying
I disliked this game design, you literally keep finding garbage weapons that looks interesting, cool style, a scyth or a gauntlet or whatever but its so weak you ignore it, same for spells, theres so many different unique ones but like you already have a strong one that is very effective why replace it with a weak one ?
Literally spoiled the game for me, I like finding a new weapon then sticking with it till you find the next more powerful one thats how metroidvanias work...this feels more like a poorly made ARPG disguised as a metroidvania in terms of weapons that you keep finding that are just so weak you never bother with different stuff

Thats the catch in this game, you gotta just equip the next thing you find if its good, and have to throw what you currently have and discard it cuz there is no inventory, nice metroidvanias without inventories ? Lol ...
Some enemies drops food items that refills your HP and gives you DMG+ or whatever ...how long does this last ? Is it permanent ? There is not a single UI indicator to tell you whats going on.

All in all this feels more like a mobile game, platforming and attacking is not fluid, its not done as it should and feels unfinished

This review is intended for those of you who are on the fence after looking at some of the reviews. In this case context is really critical since many of these reviews were given after <5 hours without the most current set of updates. The developers (a 2-person team!) have been given detailed feedback from the fan base on game balance, pacing, weapons, the death mechanic, etc. These adjustments have made a significant difference in the quality of the game, and I whole-heartedly recommend that you buy now. Or put differently, I played the game for 31 hours *despite* its previous issues and still enjoyed the experience. I have no doubt that with a few more tweaks this will easily be one of the best metroidvanias of 2020.
For me, I've played just about every metroidvania that exists, and this one really scratches my itch for solid combat, large levels with lots of secrets, gated back-tracking, enemy variety, challenging bosses, tons of weapons (primary, range, and spells) and an aesthetic that I really like. I'm not the biggest fan of randomized loot, but they do provide you with the opportunity to upgrade and re-roll a weapons' attributes. The game really opens up and hits its groove after the third boss in the spider caverns. I'm really looking forward to what this development team will do next (hopefully in this genre) with this experience under their belt. I'd encourage you to support them and get lost in this wonderful dream world they've created.

What's Good:
-This is a very well rounded metroidvania from start to finish; it's just solid across the board. That's the biggest strength of this game. This is a 20+ hr metroidvania w/ a focus on combat, exploration, boss fights, w/ some platforming. It has an rng system w/ lots of different melee weapons, magic, and projectiles.
-Huge world to explore, w/ tons of rewarding exploration. They find creative ways to make the entire world feel interconnected. You will need to defeat bosses to acquire powerups which allow you to come back to areas that weren't accessible before.
-There are a ton of fun, challenging, and innovative bosses. The difficulty slowly ramps up, and each biome has a very distinct boss that matches the environment. Some bosses can beat w/ brute force, others needs lots of movement and dodging, others challenge you to use all of your tools.
-Tons of biomes, each one w/ a distinct theme, aesthetic, new enemies, and different environmental hazards. There are traditional horizontal biomes, biomes w/ plenty of verticality, underwater biomes, and many more to explore.
-Combat is solid, and it's fun to try out different weapons and upgrade them. Balancing on the weapons is pretty good and while I personally prefer faster weapons w/ decent reach, weapons like fast daggers or really slow giant axes also feel solid.
-There are 9 unlockable powerups that will allow you to fully traverse through the world. Each one is different and adds something new to the game. The bash is one that can be used to stomp enemies and break certain floors. Another one is the slide that allows you to fit through tight spaces and evade enemies. I always looked forward to trying out a new one.
-Very responsive devs that want the player base to have a really great experience. They have quickly responded to bugs and even created an easier game mode on player request.
Could Use a Few Changes:
-There are a few abrupt difficulty spikes. I think this can easily be fixed w/ a few changes in balancing of your damage output in a few points in the game.
-You can't mark anything on the map, which is a really small gripe.
-The artistic design works, but it isn't the most polished area of the game. It's a giant world to get lost in, which is awesome, but it doesn't have the same visual appeal as games like Ori, Hollow Knight, or Blasphemous.
-It's confusing on how much damage weapons do. I would sometimes find a new epic weapon that looked like it was as good or better than my old one and I wanted to try out a new weapon, but it actually did way less damage. I was even taking into a account how it combined w/ my runes, but still this happened 3-4 times. They do allow you to keep one backup weapon in the lab, which was a really smart choice but I think a little more info on weapon scaling would be nice.
-I experienced 4/5 glitches where I got stuck in the tiles after trying to bash or dash on an enemies head and had to start back from my save point.
Thoughts:
-This is a great game and is a slam dunk pickup for all metroidvania fans out there. It takes a couple hrs to get used to the rng system, adjusting to enemy patterns, and feeling comfortable exploring the world, but it's worth the effort. I really loved the entire second half of the game. I loved finding new epic weapons, exploring new biomes, and taking on challenging bosses. Moderate your expectations, and I think you will have a really good experience. This doesn't have the polish, art direction, or perfect difficulty curve as games like Hollow Knight or The WIll of the Wisps, but that's an extremely high bar. I think Endless Memories is better than some other strong metrodivanias like Axium Verge, Kunai, Gato Roboto, and Enter Digition. If you enjoyed any of those, you will probably really like this one.
Consensus:
-Solid Game (Tier 3 and makes up 35% of my reviews). W/ a few changes, this could easily by an excellent game. W/ some QOL changes, taking care of any bugs, and tightening up on the difficulty spikes, this will end up being one of the top metroidvanias of 2020. If you are itching for Silksong, this is a great choice that will quench your thirst. $20 is a steal, pick it up if you haven't already.

This game is just frustrating. Weird difficulty spikes, terrible platforming, terrible balancing, terrible health recovery system, a handful of bugs, very few fast travel options for a game that has a lot of backtracking, the list goes on.
I know I can finish the game, but for someone who has played difficult games that may have inspired this (Castlevania, Dark Souls, Sekiro, Dead Cells), it will take a while.
I haven't had the privilege of finishing it yet, but as for my experience so far, an unforgettable design. For me, that's the essence of Endless Memories. Definitely A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Each atmosphere is spectacular, with all the qualities to be identified and mechanics based on the world of dreams, making the exploration rewarding and not mandatory, creating in you the need to know what things you can find in every little corner. Music according to the feelings of the situation and the place. Every hit felt as if you were living it. This can only have come from masterminds, fully recommended to anyone who wants to have a unique experience. A masterpiece.

I am very disappointed in the game.
No lore, boring gameplay, everything is very monotonous, balance is ... no balance as well (i came to the 1st boss without almost nothing (lvl 3) and did nothing, i mean i died 30+ times in a row, however i like hardcore game but here i could't find game balance) . However ART vision is pretty awesome and various equipment pack are good!

Swapping to recommended now. The patch made the game way better tuned and combat is fun now. The game is a fun rogue-lite, metroidvania-ish game.
Biggest con now was not having the fact that you need to hold the button to use the lab shops for weapon upgrades explained...I thought it was broken and gave up after clicking multiple times and just figured I'd play "hard mode" with no upgrades...

After 15 hours, I have finished the game. I have enjoyed it. Despite comments that I have seen of the difficulty, in my opinion, the normal mode is perfect. But I come from playing other games that have a similar difficulty. I imagine that due to the feedback from some players, the devs will make some kind of patch so that everyone can enjoy it.
Combat: I enjoyed the variety of weapons and magic that I could use. In the current version, there is no inventory to store more weapons, but later in the laboratory, you can save them and search for them according to the boss or situation you are going to face. But concerning combat, very fluid and fast, it demands good reflexes to take advantage of the dash and parry mechanics, similar to Dead cells. Thanks to the wide variety of weapons, you can find your favorite style. You can also equip runes to combine them and thus improve the composition of your gear. The weapons have attributes according to their rank, which you can improve yourself in the blacksmith, or simply wait for some chest or enemy to drop it. Magic is fun, and if you combine them with good runes, you can be a magician, but I liked melee weapons better.
Platforming: Very polished, the character has good movement and control. After you get used to it, you can move with great freedom, making it difficult for enemies to hit you. There is one or another section of the platform for a change but nothing to frustrate you. The exploration was nice. The levels are very wide, and if you pay attention to the dialogues, you can guide yourself easily. Note that if you are not paying attention, you may have to explore more than you should, looking for the path, typical in Metroidvanias games. Whenever I explore, I find rewards and secret places. I like that.
I have played other similar titles, and I liked the Metroidvanias. This is also one that can stand out over time because it has systems and mechanisms that make you think that developers seek to get out of the similarity with others. And although I thought it would be more Timespinner type, I liked the twist they have given to the other Metroidvanias. It is a new experience, with the same feeling as the other Metroidvanias. I recommend it. As I understand it, it has different endings, so maybe I'll finish it again later to see other alternatives.
Pretty good so far, Dead Cells combat in a real Metroidvania world.

A safe purchase for lovers of metroidvanias, also for those who played classic platform games. The combat is a bit tactical Hack n 'Slash. It really is an interesting title.

I hate it. Its one of most annoying, frustrating and exhausting games i played ever.
This game promises combat, RPG progression and magical world to explore, but delivers all of those in most unsatisfying ways possible.
All parts of this game are competent on their own, but how everything combines together just does not work. The whole game need complete owerhaul.
Combat is hard and punishing, demanding timing and precision, while never being rewarding enough. You recieve money, loot and runes from defeated monsters, but money are useless, loot underwhelming and drop rate of runes are ridiculously low. That turns combat in to unwanted distraction on the way to the bosses.
In four hours of gameplay im traversed through four zones and seen only three shops. One at the start of the game, second in the branch path of first zone and third in the jungle. They did not selling anything useful, just normal quality weapons what could beusefull before you grinded all this money to buy that weapon. Apart those shops a newer seen any use for money.
Loot from monsters are always boring and usually inferior to stuff found in chests. I got my first epic weapon from the chest in windmill, at the start of the first zone and newer felt need to upgrade. There is no reason to grind for loot.
The weapons themselves feel horribly unbalanced. The best way to play is to stay safe with long reach weapons. Spaming attacks will delay your dodge and get you hit. Blocking feels useless it delays you as much as the enemy. I never encountered situation where blocking was more advantageous then simple dodge. Delay after dodge feels clumsy and punishing. It would be much better if you could chain two dodges together before the delay.
Runes are extreemly rare and don't affect gameplay as much as developers promise. First rune that i got increased my damage with one handed weapons, second and third runes restored 3hp per killed enemy and fourth halved my phys attack for increased magic.
Considering what you only have 3 slots for those runes i just don't see how this system will help me "to find mine unique playstyle".
Maybe there is more futher in to the game but im not going to endure boring gameplay to potentially get to more exiting one. The game systems must be fun fron the start to the finish.
And worst of all - leveling. If you skip horrible combat you will be underleveled, lacking in stats and dps, transforming already challenging bosses in to ass whooping nightmare.
Powerups un this game are bizzare too. Usually games like this hide predetermined powerups like health, damage of energy to make unskilled player life easier. Here you will recieve point to a RANDOM stat. So theoretically you can recieve bonus to everything you never use, without contributing to your playstyle. Why? Who came up with that idea and what logic was behind it?
Maybe developers wanted to make a roguelight but changed their minds half-way through and forgot about powerups.
The promised "vast handcrafted non-linear dream world to explore and get lost" is not true at all.
Is it vast? Well, level are quite spacious, but not really big. If you know where you going it take mere minutes to traverse levels from start to finish.
Is it handcrafted? Well, its not procedually generated by algorithm. But then we see word "handcrafted" in platformer description we imagine Ori and the Blind Forest/Will of the Wips. THATS are handcrafted gameworlds. This game world made with tiles. Its not ugly, its not bad, but use word "handcrafted" is misleading.
Is it non-linear? No, not really. Every road fork here ether blocked with ability you haven't found yet, ether lead to a dead end with chest inside. All four zones that i experienced were straightforward, with only one way to go. Don't expect anything like Dark Souls level design with looping paths converging to single point.
Can you get lost in it? No, the game has a map and there is no need for backtracking.[spoiler]Im joking ha-ha funny...[/spoiler]
What about lore and story? I don't know. The game does not establishes anything that resembles the plot in first four hours that i played. There is some plot hooks but nothing to sink your teeth into. Thankfully, the game does not drowns you in useles exposition.
I want to love this game, but i just can't. In four hours of playing i had taken three breaks, to do the chores and rest from this game.
The game is solid. Engaging game mechanics, beautiful art and music, and a lot of loot.
On the other hand, in terms of exploration, I can say that it is well rewarded, but the maps are enormous. So if you want a game to pass it quickly, it may not work for you.
The bosses I have fought with are very intuitive. It cost me to get used to some mechanics, but they are useful when facing them.
The enemies do not present such a great challenge after you take the floor to the game. I have noticed in other user opinions complaints of the difficulty. But in my case, coming from Hollow Knight and Dark Souls, it seems a bit adequate. Since, In Endless Memories, the combat is faster and more aggressive.
As for the variety of weapons, so far, I have seen quite a few. I have noticed that they are remarkably different. The daggers are incredibly fast, but the Great Swords are very slow, compensated by the damage from them. Something that I liked is that they put the iconic Castlevania-type whip. So far, it is my favorite weapon in the game.
I have enjoyed the game so far. The first impression I had was that it was a simple game, but after entering, I noticed that it has many mechanics to extend its content. I would love to see how this title develops in the community since Metroidvania has gained a bit of strength. But at the same time, there is a lot of competition between them.

Good metroidvania, I hope it becomes popular!
I am new to these types of games. I found it a bit difficult at first, since I thought it was a Hack n 'Slash, it has started to entertain me.
I had previously heard about the Metroidvania but the truth is that I did not know how big the levels were and all the connected routes there are. At the moment I can say that I go more with the comments that the game has a very fast and polished combat. The platform areas are simple, not complicated, celestial type.
The fights that I have had with bosses are well entertaining, after you learn the patterns you can advance without problems. My favorite weapon at the moment have been the fists, they are very fast and hit hard. Anyway I recommend it, it is a new experience.
This game is very similar to other titles, but with a combat a little more like dead cells and lots of loot.
A Metroidvania with high-speed combat. If you want a complete experience I recommend "Normal Mode". So far, it is entertaining, the story is confusing, but I imagine it will be revealed later.
I saw some reviews complaining about the difficulty of the game. I thought the whole purpose of difficult games was to challenge you a bit further until you figure out how to beat it and master all that needs to be "mastered" but I guess I'm the only one who thinks that way. I really enjoy how you can play around combining runes and play along—beautiful graphics from colours to conception.
Really appreciate that this takes several hours (from what I've been getting so far) to finish, so it keeps you entertained for several hours until you got back to it the other day.
Overall, I would recommend people to give this game a chance and not just give up in the one-hour playing mark. It has potential, and I'm really impressed by the fact that only TWO people work in all this.

Review:Endless Memories it's a plataform RPG with a lot of charm.
The game is pretty simple and straight and I like it, it's kind of hollow knight but not so complex and with easy mechanics, it's face-paced with kind of soul-likes evasion.
There are artefacts and diferent type of weapons like any other rpg and when you die you drop the loot and you can go to the spot to recover it.
The art and the visuals looks very good and with a good background as landscape, it's a relaxing and chill game with a lot of charm.

To begin with, I must say that it is not the Metroidvania I was used to, but I have fallen in love with it. Now I explain why:
Endless Memories is not your typical Metroidvania or platformer. It shows in the systems you have, the developers have created a new mix in the genre that is worth giving the opportunity.
The game has most of the aspects that I like about Metroidvania, but they have put a twist on some things that may scare new players at first, but after you get into these new systems you will start to like them.
One of the strangest systems for me was not having an inventory, with so many weapons in the game, but after I noticed that I could break them to get coins from them, it seemed like a shortcut to not having to go to a store. Sell useless equipment like I have been doing in classic RPGs, it's weird but then you understand that it doesn't make sense to have so many weapons in an inventory that you won't use. This is something that I had not seen and that I have ended up liking. As I go forward I find new things and I am leaving others behind.
Later in the laboratory, you can save weapons, this is very useful to try new weapons without losing your beloved weapon.
It has a system similar to Darksouls, this is already common (looking for your money when you die) I don't like it, but it is already normal in the new Metroidvanias.
The combat is faster than in the classic Metroidvanias, which favors it because the enemies are more intelligent than in the Metroidvanias I have played. There are some enemies that hit hard, but a simple Dash makes it easy to save yourself.
Dash and Parry:
It seems that Dash is common in games and its usefulness is overlooked. The developers of Endless Memories placed importance on these two mechanics and most of the defensive combat is based on using them. The dash is so instantaneous as to avoid everything if you do it at the right time, it is so precise that it is difficult to get used to it since normally the "roll" in the Soul-like is longer. Here the dash is something more of reflections, you must use it at the right moment, but if you get used to it you will be immortal.
The parry is easy to use, similar to that of Blasphemous, but I think a little more time to counter-attack. The parry can block melee attacks, but not magic attacks. You can even block attacks on bosses.
I do not want to extend this review any longer, but I want to recommend to those who like me are looking for new Metroidvanias and platformers to open up to innovative titles, it took me a little to get used to something new, but it had its reward, I am really enjoying this game a lot. If you don't like trying something new, I don't recommend Endless Memories, since it is a game that has reinvented many things in a genre that was a bit monotonous.
武器很不平衡。攻击数值设计就很拉胯，而双手大剑非常不建议使用，打断能力差，后摇还特别长，面对近乎瞬发的攻击的boss，简直就是自讨苦吃。剑盾武器明明有盾，格挡攻击后立马受到伤害，说好的盾？？？？？
怪物的设计也不平衡，第一章地图那个蓝色小青蛙就能让人抓狂，超多段位移，瞬发多段攻击。水下地图的电鳗，一下扣掉50%生命值的伤害还带多段后续伤害，碰到必死。必经地段还堆了4只，恶不恶心？监狱捶地小猪，攻击时是绝不可能闪避过的(闪避距离不够，攻击范围广&多)。
伤害也非常不平衡，一般攻击还附带debuff的直接满血带走，后期堆到120血，被那种鹰人一脚10血，buff扣血一下30持续3下，几乎必死，问你气不气？？？？？
格挡，但仅有这个功能没有给出教程，而且只能够格挡实体攻击，无法格挡弹道攻击，而且只能站立在地面上的时候才能够格挡。格挡还不一定能够眩晕敌人，判断时间很短，风险奇高且回报率非常低。
闪避后的恢复速度/冷却实在是太慢了。在第一个boss就品尝到闪避是做的多么的烂，面对那3-5个飓风的时候，还得走路1秒左右才能再次使用闪避躲过飓风。而boss还会配合闪电区域，而只能闪避冷却太长必定吃到一次伤害。
加上敌人技能滞留时间长的恐怖，雪上加霜，这两种反制手段回报非常低，实用性不如跳起来，或者拉远距离。
地图太大，真的又大又多，虽然风格多样并不会导致神秘疲劳，但缓慢如斯的移动速度和某些区域堆放了一些失败设计的小怪让跑图非常的难受。
游戏本身还是挺有趣的，但某些设计真的很不人性化，加了个Easy模式只是减少了伤害数值，治标不治本。
I was waiting for DRM-free version since I saw the game announcement but I had to get it. Been waiting for a good metroidvania for a while.
The game is really fun so far. A fresh mix of castlevania with some roguelike elements. You can only carry one weapon, one magic ability, and one range weapon. This reminded me of roguelikes like dead cells that for you to be able to get a new weapon you have to discard the one you have.
I just defeated the first boss and the world seems big with all the blocked pathways. I'll be taking my time to explore the world of this game. The story is a bit vague so far hopefully it gets better as the game progresses. Overall the game turned out to be better than what I expected!

The art is very pretty. Every new area that you discover it's very unique. Plus most areas have different music. A very nice touch.
The gameplay is amazing. Platforming feels good, and combat is top-notch. There are many types of weapons, and I have only been playing for an hour or so.
The story so far doesn't spoil much of what is going on, but that gives a nice sense of mystery. There is even a sci-fi looking facility and then a magical forest inside of it.
I've been waiting for a game like this for YEARS! 2D Game with this quality? i pay $100 for it! I have a little bit over an hour of playing time and it's pretty awesome so far!

This is by far one of the smoothest exploration platformers I've played. It has fantastic art, good music, and excellent controls. Overall it just feels really good to play. The way you constantly change gears and abilities, tell you it was made by fans of Castlevania games. If the game keeps this pace, it could easily take a high spot on my Metroidvania list.

本作采用了很正统的类银河战士恶魔城设计，地图比原本想的要大很多，探索内容比较丰富 [spoiler]传送点太少，跑路贼难受 [/spoiler]。纯手绘，配上卡通渲染的风格，赏心悦目，即便像是地底这种场景，也不会觉得很阴暗压抑。画面细腻精美，细节多样，角色跑动过程中跟场景内的植被也存在碰撞反馈。只有音乐的表现中规中矩，没有给我留下太深刻的印象，大部分时候比较安静，只有BOSS战的时候会稍微燃那么一丢丢。
玩法跟同类游戏一样，开图，杀敌，学习到新的能力，然后继续重复之前的过程。本作没有什么剧情演出，玩家大部分的时间都花在了跑腿开图上，正所谓跑腿半小时，剧情一分钟。也没有明显的任务引导，除了最开始村长指派的任务外，就再也没有任务目标，玩家只能一步步去探索地图上没有开启过的区域。因为没有线索跟单独的任务记录，对于路痴来说，在探索地图的过程当中，如果拿到了某件重要的道具不知道怎么使用，或者错过了某个重要道具的位置，那么很有可能玩着玩着就不知道自己该干什么了。
角色养成自由，包含多种类主副武器，技能跟符文可以搭配 [spoiler]不过真正实用的并不多 [/spoiler]，在地图上探索秘密区域时还能获得额外的HP，MP或者其他基础属性加成。总的爱说流程不算短，有耐心玩下去的话也能感受到不错的趣味性，至于为什么说要必须有耐心，那是因为本作的操作手感容易劝退玩家。
正如上面所说，本作最大的缺点是操作不流畅，主要体现在角色在攻击的过程当中不能使用翻滚按键来取消攻击后的硬直，一般来说，但凡打出3段或者以上的连击，基本上都会受到敌人的攻击，恰恰游戏中的每一位敌人都有霸体，如果不能持续晕眩敌人，那就只能陪它们上演一段，你打一下空气，我打一下你的回合制体验。正因如此，本作的操作手感会让人感觉到多一些硬核，少一些爽感。
在如此不悦的操作体验下想要取得更好的体验，除了制作组优化操作外，唯一的办法只有降低难度。因为普通难度相较简单难度，敌人皮更厚，攻更高，会更难缠，所以个人建议一周目最好选择简单难度。选错难度不要紧，作者也很贴心地设置了难度更改功能，玩家可以随时在两种难度之间进行切换，具体操作是：返回主菜单-点击继续游戏-进行难度选择。

This one teeters strongly on a "Maybe" for me. It's close, there's something that could work, but.. within 20-some minutes I see lots of little things that worry me.
Items drop as spheres that you can break for cash and such? Neat! Except when it drops in a cluster of enemies and you either die or destroy an item killing the foes with no way to do much about it. Room with lightning blocks, lightning orb, and lightning spell? Some kinda puzzle, I guess! Zapping everything in the room does nothing.
Dodge can't be strung together into attacks without constantly stopping all button presses, feels very clunky - you also dodge forwards into enemies, and take damage on touch. Despite that, many weapons seem to have very small hit ranges, and some stretches are just full of loads of enemies in a line, which isn't a good first impression. Several NPCs texts/item names are misspelled and typo'd in the first bit of the game, too, which worries me. The overall "feel" is a tad sluggish somehow, such that I wondered if it was running at 30fps but it seems to be 60. There's a hint of everything being a little molasses-y that makes it not feel super responsive or tight. The dashing is kinda floaty, too.
A lot of assets aren't clear if they are foreground or background - and some clearly should be foreground but aren't and look kinda amateurishly placed. There's potential here, but the game needs a few solid updates to really hit home. It's also trying for lots of Souls-y-ness, parries and healing and dodging and enemy patterns and all, but it feels just a bit too rough on the edges to click.
I'm not entirely sure I understand where all the early praise is coming from. There's a lot of talk of "dancing with the enemy", "mastering combat", and "fast and fluid" but my experience is unavoidable platforming damage, uncounterable attacks, and waiting.
You can parry but you can't parry very many attacks, and it's unclear whether you can parry something or not until you try (hint: you probably can't, only very basic melee attacks seem to be able to be parried). You can dodge but dodging is very short range on the timing window on dodging a lot of stuff is a frame or two, AND you can't cancel attacks into dodges or parry or vice versa which means basically a whole lot of waiting to attack. Basically, parrying is almost never the right call, nor is trying to dodge, so just backing out of range or jumping and then attacking is your safest bet, which makes those two abilities seem kind of pointless as tools. The recovery time on dodging is so long that you often just get hit by the second part of an attack, or just another enemy, because you're often fighting 3+ enemies at once and their attacks aren't going to sync up AND they can fully overlap with each other, so you might dodge or parry the first swing but then get hit by the second or third with nothing you can do.
Weapon balance is all over the place with no clear weight or rhyme or reason behind it. I found an Epic dagger that basically one-shot everything in the first area partway through and went through 2 more regions without finding an upgrade. Even the best shop I've seen so far has only a maybe-upgrade, for a price I can't afford despite having spent 0 money so far because there's been no reason to.
The dialogue and lack of polish are just kinda "indie game things" and I could live with those if the core gameplay was good, but right now it's just bad. It's not soulslike, it's not metroidvania-esque, it's not platformer combat, it's some mish-mash of them all that ends up with some really bad elements and really bad interactions.
They already patched in an "Easy" difficulty but that's a bandaid of the game not actually working very well. With easy you can just brute force your way through everything, on normal you just have to grind for better items or levels or just hope you get lucky on how enemy attacks line up.
And I mentioned - you take unavoidable damage sometimes while transitioning rooms or platforming around. E.g. you exit a room going up into another corridor, and it launches you uncontrollably hard into the ceiling of said corridor, where spikes are. This happened multiple times in slightly different ways, and I actually tried several of them repeatedly to see if I could avoid the damage and I couldn't. There are also spikes hidden behind other objects in at least one place.
The variety of spells and weapons I've run into so far is at least interesting but it's not enough for me to deal with the games' multitude of problems, including just not feeling like a real, actual game.
Edit: The developer review doesn't really address my issues mentioned above. I had already mostly understood parrying (I even state it just seems to work on basic melee), but even so it only works if only ONE enemy is attacking you at a time, with only a melee attack, which is rare. In my 2 hours there was actually only 1 enemy type I encountered the whole game where parrying was the best way to approach them, all others were better off with total avoidance. Similarly, dodging feels terrible because of how long it leaves you vulnerable, many enemy attack patterns are fast enough (especially, again, with multiple enemies always attacking you) that you can't follow up a dodge with an attack, or more than one attack if you can, with the one of the fastest weapon types, meaning again just not using dodge and avoiding them so you can jump in or use ranged is the correct choice.
Two of the fundamental combat tools (parry and dodge) are bad in this game, but yes if those get reworked in a patch maybe I'll retry it some day, but right now it's just not fun to play. Challenge is fine (I beat the dumb white castle in Hollow Knight, the 4-phase "true" boss of Sekiro, etc.) but it's not challenge that's the issue here.

Combate ágil, gráficos bonitos, un sin fin de armas a mele, mágicas y mascotas y distintas habilidades que iremos descubriendo a medida que exploremos.

1. Random loot
Man kann sich leider nicht darauf verlassen das man wie in andere Medroidvanias zur passenden Zeit die Passende Waffe hat.
Man kann die Waffen auch nicht testen denn:
2. man darf nur eine Waffe gleichzeitig haben
Range meele und magic kann man jeweils eine haben wenn man ne neue findet kann man ein paar Schläge machen und dann muss man sich entscheiden.
3. man ist meist beim 3. Treffer tot und ein Heiltrank von dem man 3 Ladungen hat füllt knapp für einen Treffer auf.
4. zu dem Randomloot gibt es keine Stats außer dem DMG
währe toll zu erfahren ob sich die 20 mehr schaden beim zauber lohnen oder ob der dafür das 3 fache an mana kostet.
Genauso kann man mit den Stats im Status nichts anfangen da man Raten darf was die bedeuten.
