Empire TV Tycoon: Как поднять охваты на пиратских кассетах и не сесть

Empire TV Tycoon - штука... странная. Сам не понял, как пролетел эту игру до финальных титров. Уже долгие года как обожаю тайкуны и экономические стратегии, но именно эта пиксельная игруля заставила меня почти сразу же дойти до финала, хотя сам менеджмент тут, честно говоря, средненький.

Главный кайф оказался не только в цифрах, а в атмосфере игры. Есть в этом что-то залипательное: скупать пиратские кассеты в подвале и лепить из этого сетку вещания. Тут нет и близко (абсолютно) такого масштаба и "постановы" при создании своих программ, как в легендарной The Movies, но процесс затягивает наглухо. Сидишь и каждый раз маньячно мониторишь, насколько сильно очередная семейка Беляковых прилипла к экрану под твой сомнительный контент на VHS.

Сделаю оговорку, что я сразу накатил моды, которые меняют стандартные обложки на постеры реальных фильмов и сериалов тех лет. Не знаю, насколько игра хороша в "голом" виде, но с реальными названиями погружение было стопроцентное. Огромное спасибо мододелам за эту деталь - без неё, возможно, было бы не так душевно.

Несмотря на непонятные с лёту сочетания жанров и требования аудитории да и некоторые огрехи в управлении, игра дарит это редкое классическое чувство "ну еще один день игры и точно спать". В итоге отрываешься от игры и ложишься слишком поздно, но зато с этим чувством выполненного долга перед своими телезрителями и карманами (рекламу мы тоже менеджерим, как же без неё). Если любите тематику ТВ и старых фильмов - рекомендую однозначно.

Empire TV Tycoon tiene una idea muy atractiva: gestionar una cadena de televisión desde cero, decidiendo qué emitir, cómo competir por audiencias y cómo hacer crecer el imperio. Durante las primeras horas resulta muy entretenido, con una progresión clara y una sensación constante de avance.

El mayor acierto del juego es su concepto y su tono. El estilo pixel art es sencillo pero efectivo, y el sistema de programación de contenidos engancha al principio, especialmente cuando empiezas a entender cómo funcionan las audiencias, los horarios y la publicidad.

Uno de los puntos que más alargan y enriquecen la experiencia es el soporte de mods. La comunidad ha creado multitud de packs con películas, series y programas reales, además de actores y presentadores reconocibles, lo que añade variedad, nostalgia y hace que cada partida pueda sentirse diferente. Gracias a esto, el juego gana mucho más recorrido del que ofrece su contenido base.

Sin embargo, el juego no escala bien a largo plazo. Una vez dominas las mecánicas principales, la estrategia se vuelve bastante rígida y repetitiva. Hay una forma claramente óptima de jugar y el resto de decisiones pierden peso. La IA de la competencia es limitada y el late game acaba siendo más una rutina que un desafío.

Aun así, Empire TV Tycoon cumple muy bien como tycoon ligero y accesible. No es un simulador profundo ni especialmente exigente, pero con mods se convierte en una experiencia mucho más completa y personalizable.

En resumen, es un juego muy recomendable si te atrae la gestión televisiva y estás dispuesto a apoyarte en la comunidad para sacarle todo el partido. Su base es sólida y divertida, aunque su profundidad depende en gran parte del contenido creado por los jugadores.

jogo legal e divertido, vicia MUITO quando você pega o jeito no jogo, mas ele tem 4 pontos negativos que afetam muito na progressão e imersão do jogo.

1. você perde o save se formatar o pc ou se desinstalar o jogo, não há salvamento na nuvem;
2. pouca variedade de filmes, desenhos, séries, conteúdo esportivo e reality;
3. os mods não funcionam (pelo menos não comigo), então mods que adicionam mais atores e filmes mais novos, não serão aplicados no jogo mesmo com ambos dos mods ativados;
4. não faz sentido um canal de tv não ser 24/7. no jogo vai das 14h da tarde até 3 da madrugada;

The game tried to expand on MAD TV but it just made it worse.

You have to cater to specific viewers and you only see a few hours ahead.
*On top of that the ads are targeted at specific groups and there's a chance you will fail a campaign just because the next day you won't get specific viewers or the news to reel them in.
*And the interface is lacking, previous production disappear from the list so if you make a new movie you probably have to look up a guide online or take your own notes.
*Sometimes things disappear from list when sorting them, like I had movies in my library that would just disappear when sorted by rating but were there if I went through the list manually, that's unacceptable on a game where you operate on those lists all the time
*The pirated movies seem to just be a joke about how pirating is bad, but the mechanic probably baited a lot of players into trying it
*Unlike MTV the incentive to sell movies and buy new ones daily isn't there, rather you should stick to the ones you have
* There is no time pressure, you won't find yourself in situation where you went to do something and didn't rush back in time to change the ad. In fact the game speed up buttons speed up the time flow but not the speed of your character, and you won't care about it.
* No interaction with rivals. No sending them terrorists or messing with the elevator. You just make a best effort with programming and then you maybe get a reward or maybe not.

It could've been a good game. But most of my time play looked like this: wait a minute, switch to a guide to lookup who likes what, then go to scriptwriter to see if they randomly generated a good script. From time to time go to studio and setup next production, copying from guide because while the game has you guess the values for production it doesn't show the values you already used (you can lookup movies from archives but the items from that list disappear randomly).

It would've been much less of a chore if I could just programme the whole day in one go.

I've probably spent more time playing this game than I should have, but if it's fun is that such a bad thing? The play loop is addictive and you're constantly trying to be the best studio by putting on the best programming. I highly recommend playing it in the base form but also adding some mods from the community later on. Both have their fun points, whether it be a spoof or a full poster and actual movie or show, this game can keep you playing because you are trying to build your audience either by specializing in a genre for one particular audience or a variety of programming to get some happy viewers. There are also so many fun nods and homages in there, you just have to see for yourself.

Зрительский рейтинг прыгает так, что ты начинаешь думать, что это не твой телеканал, а какой-то странный телевизионный аттракцион. Никаких подсказок, никаких гайдов — ты просто протираешь глаза и начинаешь с нуля, когда конкуренты набирают популярность быстрее, чем ты успеваешь запустить свой новый сериал. Если вдруг хочешь быть лучшим, то будь готов к тому, что первые несколько часов будут совсем не весёлыми. Через пару недель ты просто проиграешь, и это нормально.

Тебе нужно угодить всем: гикам, детям, старикам, домохозяйкам, спортсменам... Но вот в чём фишка: они могут любить что-то одно, но при этом не брезговать другими вещами. Например, гики готовы смотреть твои фантастические фильмы, но если ты им покажешь старый чёрно-белый боевик — они даже не заметят. Но только если ты полностью угадаешь их предпочтения, сможешь набрать максимальный зрительский рейтинг, чтобы не сгореть в долг и не просить у друзей денег на рекламу.

Реклама — это не просто зло, это СУПЕРЗЛО. Универсальные рекламные кампании работают на все группы, но вот, например, рекламировать новую операционную систему для гиков… Домохозяйки могут и не оценить. Поэтому, если не угадал с рекламой — приготовься платить штраф за несоответствие аудитории. Штрафы и долги — это неизбежная часть этого шоу-бизнеса. Тебе нужно угадать и стать мастером маркетинга, чтобы заработать больше. Но учти, всё будет зависеть от количества зрителей. Если их мало, то твоя реклама даже не дойдёт до нужной аудитории.

В 2D-пиксельном мире ты буквально прокачиваешь свою студию, как RPG, но как только ты создашь идеальное шоу, об этом забудет аудитория, и тебе придётся заново догонять тренды. Пара часов и ты уже хочешь расплакаться от избытка ненависти к этим рекламным кампаниям и зрителям.

I wanted to like this so much! I love the visual style, the little blocks and things, the way you can schedule and re-arrange your schedule - all of that feels great. I like moving up and down the building and the cute nods to various characters from movies / tv shows.

But... this just doesn't feel like a sim game to me. The viewers are random, you can't influence it other than rejecting a few each day. The advertising system is arcane, I could barely figure it out. It was difficult to see much cause -> effect like you see in most sim games. Unfortunately I feel like this could have been so much more.

Eigentlich ein gutes Spiel. Die Übersicht über von Zielgruppen bevorzugte Genres ist aber nur als Lösung in Steam verfügbar und macht dadurch das ganze, schöne Spiel kaputt. Spartensender kann man sich schenken, da immer andere Leute dein Programm schauen als die gewollte Zuschauergruppe. Hab's durchgespielt aber hat am Ende nicht so viel Spaß gemacht, wie Rezensionen und Videos suggerieren. Schade, wäre mehr drin gewesen.

[i] This is a short little TV studio simulator game that I have been playing on and off and will most likely continue to be playing on and off again. I love the little 2D art style they used when making the game and the mechanics to play the game are very straight forward. There is even a workshop that allows you to import real tv shows and movies into the game world as well as actors. There are multiple modes you can play around with if you don't want the game to end or wanna set a goal for yourself to reach. While maintaining your channel each day you also have the option to either buy different shows/movies or create them yourselves which is a much cheaper option in the long term. To make money you take out ad contracts which rewards you for getting a certain viewers attention during a certain channel block. There are also optional side quests you will be given throughout the day which if you fulfill will also earn you a little bit of money on the side. The more popular you become the more upgrades you unlock and better choice of actors to pick from when casting tv shows or movies. One thing I don't like is when you are in the production phase of a movie or tv show you will often get halted by about 10 possible scenarios which are always the same outcomes sadly which are interesting at first but get repetitive to read when you are constantly making shows or movies like I have been doing which of course could be fixed with workshop additions. There are also random event's throughout the week that you have option to participate in that can boost your viewership if done correctly which is fun little side work. The music of the game has only two different music tracks which get stale very fast if you play the game long enough.[/i]

Toma las películas existentes, crea tus propias películas, ve tu audiencia y domínala a base de estudiar qué prefieren y en qué horarios se conectan.
Un juego casual que se vuelve adictivo.

This has been the best Mad TV clone so far, that I know. What's good about it?
The program management is similar. Ads target certain groups of viewers instead of movie genres. That'a also a nice idea. The group of viewers change midfilm (at the end of an hour) which is a rather abrupt change. But still that mechanism works well.
You can send reporters that create a live show for you, for one hour. You can produce shows that enter contests. You can buy films and get ad contracts. There's a good slight touch of craziness in the game (Doc Brown). So far so good.

So what's missing:
- The choleric boss.
- A story that creates an arc.
- competing players heading for the elevator, "Grrr"-ing at each other.
But most of all, the ads don't work properly. Whenever you increase your maximum audience by an antenna, all the ads immediately need more viewers to be fulfilled, but don't create any additional money. Ads work with a percentage of your viewers instead of an absolute numbers of viewers. This basically kills the most rewarding (capitalistic) mechanism of the original Mad TV.

What's the conclusion? The game is not bad. But still I'd prefer the original Mad TV over this game, so I don't recommend Empire TV Tycoon.

Nostalgie pur; Manage Deinen eigenen TV Sender in drei unterschiedlichen Spielmodi.
Zwar grösstenteils in Deutsch, setzt aber für spätere Eigenproduktionen, die Ihr für Euer Programm erstellen könnt, etwas Englisch Kenntnisse voraus. Tolles Gewusel in Retrostil !

As a huge fan of the original Mad TV (1991) I must say this is a worthy modern adaptation/sequel to a much beloved game. Challenging to play because there's so many things to juggle (ads, marketing, audience groups, etc.) and you have to produce your own shows/movies as well as enter numerous competitions to stay ahead of your opponents. This is on the fast track to becoming one of my favorites for sure.

Ein Klassiker. Wer kennt noch Mad TV aus den "alten Zeiten"? MadTV kam 1991 heraus, entwickelt von Rainbow Arts - hier handelt es sich um eine gut gelungene Neuauflage dieses Games. Kurzweilig und obgleich natürlich kein Vergleich zu heutigen, modernen Wirtschaftssimulationen ist es ein spaßiges Remake. Kaufempfehlung!

Random thoughts on the game...

I loved "MadTV" (the old PC game - not the TV show). I always thought that, as a formula, it was a really compelling game. So much so that I'm often surprised no one has taken the concept forward.

Granted this version, Empire TV Tycoon, is almost 10 years old at this point but... it scratches the itch.

There's a few things about the game that I don't think work versus the original.

The big one is ads. In the original, ads were always based on viewership. In this version, it's based on percentage of your audience. That might not sound like much of a difference but when you're setting up new antenaes to increase your broadcast range, you shouldn't have to worry about not hitting the new audience goal for contracts you already negotiated. Sorta annoying.

They also took out the whole romance angle, which I kinda guess, but it was somewhat charming.

Also they entirely took out the terrorism angle where you could send a suicide bomber to a rival station (the 80's were a weird time). Again, I get why.

But yeah, it's a good game!

Ein alter Klassiker (Mad TV) ist hier als PC-Spiel realisiert.
Leider konnte ich die Zusätze noch nicht aktivieren, es scheint das Spiel abzustürzen. Auch gibt es keine "Pause-Taste" also Unterbrechen ist nicht wirklich drin.
Die Schrift ist recht klein gehalten, und die Schriftart sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig.
Es ist aber mal interessant als Chef eins TV-Senders all das zu machen, was man sonst am TV mag/nicht mag.
Man wird sogar dafür bestraft, wenn Eltern ihre Kinder des Nacht aufbleiben lassen, wenn sie einen Horrorfilm anschauen. Dabei kann man dafür nicht, aber Einspruch kann nicht einlegen.

Leider ist es recht langwierig, man muß von 14-15 Uhr Das Programm fertig haben, damit man sich um weitere Details kümmern kann.
TIP: Schau zum Schluß dir deine Werbung an, damit du schnell handeln kannst.

ИИ несправедлив. Мы получаем новые апгрейды при наборе очков, а ИИ получает новые апгрейды чуть позже нас, даже если эти очки набрать он не сможет ещё час-другой.

This is a very good successor of the classic MAD TV. It has the right feel it works as it should, some things were upgraded although some were lost (like the main goal of the first game which was winning the heart of the girl from the top floor).

I don't recall the original MAD TV very well but my impression is that developers changed the mechanic a bit. We no longer have to only earn money (by broadcasting ads tuned to expected viewer numbers) but they implemented also audiences. How this works?

Each hour there are certain audiences who like only certain shows. We don't know these audiences until few hours before the show so we have to react on the go. There is no long way planning. The game became a puzzle on how to cheer up everyone in a short time and pick up right shows and adverts to succsseed.

Honestly I don't like this mechanic very much. I would like to have something like audiences getting used to what I broadcast. So they know that at this time there is always something they like on my channel. In current model autiences are more or less random and we just have to react and the game becomes kind of a puzzle rather than management.

We gain fame points based on how well we are doing in comparison to competition. Again in original MAD TV only money mattered (which meant we need to be better than competition anyway) but here these fame points are very important for the development of your TV station. Therefore if you get a head start and develop quickly the game goes out of balance, you can continue to win easier and gain even a greater advantage. To counter that AI players have some bonuses so they can catch up, but this is generally a flaw in the mechanics I believe.

Although I have some doubts about the game mechanics it's still fun to play. There are more mechanics implemented that original MAD TV had (like employes etc.) and it can be challenging to win. Summarizing it's pretty fun to play and I believe there is no similar game on the market.

Una verdadera joyita oculta de steam , me ha sorprendido gratamente, lo primero que he de decir es que tiene mods ( un bien aliciente a la hora de comprarlo) . Este es un juego en el que pasar la tarde tranquilamente poniéndoles culebrones a las mujeres y porno a los abuelos ( disfrutan como enanos) , aparte tenéis a enamorados, hombres, frikis, niños, rockeros y atletas que para captar su audiencia y ganar a tus competidores tendréis que poner la temática que le guste a cada uno ,esto se complica casi siempre porque te aparecen varios grupos de audiencia y tienes que Tratar de ponerles algo que les guste a todos y así ganar fama ( indispensable para mejoras) además de dinero ( dependiendo de los anuncios que pongas ganarás más o menos ) para comprar más pelis, series, culebrones, porno para los abuelos, dibujos ,pelis pirata ( suelen ser mucho mejores y más baratas ,al menos al comienzo pero tienes muchas posibilidades de que te pillen) , etc. Con los anuncios tienes que pensar una Estrategia también y tener en cuenta si vas a tener la audiencia mínima que piden y en el tiempo acordado ,de lo contrario tendras una penalización y te tendras que rascar el bolsillo. También está la posibilidad de crear tus propias producciones ya sea en formato película, miniserie etc y así optar a premios , tiene un aspecto de juego pixelado pero en mi opinión no le resta diversión, imagino que eso será una ventaja para jugarlo hasta en la cafetera que tengáis en el pueblo,la única pega que le pongo al juego es que no tenga multijugador para competir contra otra gente pero bueno, tiene otros muchos alicientes para comprarlo, por ejemplo ver la felicidad del abuelo al ponerle el porno no tiene precio 😃.Saludos y bien día.

After 46 hours in this game, I've gotten all of the achievements and loved it all. This is one of those games where I lost track of time while playing and suffered from "One more turn" syndrome. While I have this uninstalled, I might re-install to try my hand at the global leader board one day, but this game has inspired me to try my hand at game design and hopefully make a game or three in a similar manner.

Not really one I can recommend and the audio is really grating.

Not gonna lie, I love this game. I've come back to it several times throughout my life and frankly I'm a little disappointed. There are no scenarios, higher difficulties basically just make the AI OP, the max amount of movies you can hold caps out at nearly 50 and the tech tree is just meh. I've got so much love for this game, I just wish the devs would have put a bit more love in. It feels like they gave up toward the end and figured "no one will notice if we cut this." I just can't play anymore with a fully upgraded library that holds less movies than I have in real life... Kinda silly.

3/5 So many flaws but the base game is fun enough....

It's a remake of an absolutely classic game, I've played as a kid. Frankly, I just bought it to have it. Didn't play the remake at all. But if you've never played it - you absolutely should. A bit weird retro sense of humor is strong in this one.

EDIT: OK, so I played a bit and there's one mechanic which absolutely ruins the game: antennas :( It makses absolutely no sense to buy them, since ads are contracted based on % of total viewers. This more you enhance, the harder it is to fulfill ad contracs, which makes no sense at all.

The game is a fantastic homage to MadTV.

Everything is perfect aside from one flaw....

The ads don't scale correctly. You are better off never adding satellites as the numbers never hit what they should even with 9.5 rated movies that fit audience during primetime. There are options for 50 million viewers in Ad pool, but I've never seen it get close even with the perfect combo.

Some people wanted some QoL changes based on reviews, but then it wouldn't be MadTV. I think you should make a sequel and flesh out those issues.

It was worth 10 dollars.

9.3/10: Fun movie and TV show references, the ability to make one's own movies and shows with custom titles (and custom scripts if one so desires), and awards to win. Despite the price, there's a missing intangible that would otherwise makes [i]Empire TV Tycoon[/i] a perfect ten. Besides, a decimal was needed because there was one too many times ol' Il Pallino made a movie with perfect resource distribution, perfect acting, perfect scripts, and perfect choices for in-filming dilemmas, and the final score of the movie was a nine-point-something!

[h1]Overview[/h1]

Lights, Camera, Action! While the title of [i]Empire TV Tycoon[/i] is a giveaway as to what the genre and situation of the game entail, the player takes over one of three television stations and competes against the other two networks in the building for ratings. Hopefully the player will be the first network to receive upgrades for the movie library (for purchasing outside movies and shows), upgrades to the movie studio (for making higher quality movies and shows in-house), and the ability to purchase new transmitters in other locations on the map (to bring in more viewers) so the player can keep up winning the ratings battles. Audience numbers are also important for appeasing sponsors who have audience objectives to satisfy. (Satisfying these objectives means more money for the network.) Every few days an awards show will come up in which the player will do well to participate by submitting one of their own movies (or shows) in which the three networks compete for five categories of awards. (Best picture, best director, best script, best actor, and best supporting actor.) Winning any five categories results in bonus money and bonus popularity points. Every day someone will have a request for the player to air a show at a certain time slot (always at night) and fulfillment results in bonus money and one fame point.

The graphics are pretty basic and are mostly limited to the Empire TV building and looking at one's own timeslots trying to figure out what should be shown.

The sounds are basic but the music that plays during shows is quite annoying, but fortunately the developers are aware of this, which is why the game's music can be muted.

[h1]Positives and Negatives[/h1]

The hardest difficulty level is dang difficult, and anyone who has completed a game on the most difficult level has certainly earned their achievement for doing so! The most difficult setting is not for people with a fragile ego, if the player should be that big of a n00b, the easiest level is easy enough to where the player will almost always have the largest audience at any given hour.

The daily challenges of having to program something at a certain time slot for a person with money to give is always interesting. (The player better plan on fulfilling this objective if they're playing on the most difficult setting.) Usually the only demands are the time, genre, and rating of the movie/show in question, but sometimes a movie/show will need to be made before or after a certain year.

As with the aforementioned awards shows, some days will involve a certain event happening in Empire City, and the player will do good to pick one of three journalists and assign that journalist to cover one of three possible things happening. Airing the news story results in one popularity point, but hopefully the player will have made the correct choice in journalist and assignment in order to get a highly rated program. (The player will also do good to air this news segment that's consistent with it's demographic.)

Demographics have their own tastes which helps keep the game interesting. Although the rating of a show is important, the player will do good to appease demographics so that their network will become more popular with that demographic, which in turn insures more viewers when that demographic (up to three at a single time) will be watching in the future.

Apart from the ability to come up with names for movies and shows, players can feel free to modify the script if they so choose. Modifying the script provides no benefit, but can make for amusing screenshots.

Once the player reaches 400 popularity points, the player can make specialty movies. (Specialties being [i] 16+[/i], [i]Cartoon[/i], [i]Anime[/i], [i]Glamour[/i], and [i]XXX[/i]. All of these specialties provide bonuses and penalties to certain viewer demographics.) Specialties are good for solidifying various demographics, but can also be used to diversify interests in attempt to make something for everyone. (Sports movies with a glamour theme to raise the standing with demographics represented by a female avatar at the expense of a penalty with the demographics represented by a male avatar.... And vice-versa if one was to create a XXX romance movie.)

When movies/shows are made, the player receives an analysis of their resource distribution in production, which helps with pinpointing how many points should go where. (Unless the player is a cheater like ol' Il Pallino who has to resort to a guide to seek help with resource distribution.)

Various staff members can be hired, and while a script writer is mandatory and a production assistant is next-to-mandatory, situations and difficulty levels do make the rest of the types of employees useful. (If the player is going for the two achievements that involve showing pirated movies, a hacker should be considered for one of the achievements, if the player is playing on the most difficult level, the advertising manager is a must, and playing on the other two levels an audience manager is helpful for their (up to) 7% bonus in viewership. The only downer about the subordinate employees is that their skills will be at their lowest point when the player is in most of their need to compete against the rival networks.

The concept of audience bans makes the game interesting, and works well in the easiest level to help get as positive of viewership as possible, but in the most difficult mode, the player will only receive a single audience ban per day, and the player will do well to weaponize their ban. (i.e. Using the ban not so much to solidify the demographics for their show, but instead to manipulate the audience demographics against their rivals.)

Apart from advertising (if the player hired an advertising manager) movies/shows can be promoted through the use of news stories. (A non-specialty network will receive up to five news stories a day while the specialty stations receive only three news stories per day with at least one of those news stories being in the genre of the station's specialty.) While airing a news story in the same genre as the movie/show in question results in 5% more viewers, a new demographic is added to the time slot if there's less than three viewers, and this new demographic can be used to help the player solidify their audience and/or weaponized to hurt the viewership of the other two network's programs.

[i]Empire TV Tycoon[/i] represents perfect value for money while on sale, but even when not on sale, a fan of management/tycoon games will love [i]Empire TV Tycoon[/i].

Pretty good spreadsheet kind of game. It has enough variety and progress to keep it interesting to the end.

My only serious issue after beating it on Expert mode is how pivotal the antennas are to your success. The first one makes or breaks your entire game. If an opponent gets it before you they will have massively higher rating than you until you get the antenna. The opponent's fame building and tech unlocks start a domino effect that becomes impossible to overcome. Getting it first creates pretty much the same effect in the player's favor. Even when I was coming in last place several days the AI could not catch up to me.

Nach 90 Minuten spielen und mehrmaligen Durchspielen habe ich mich zu einer Rezension entschlossen.
Eins vorneweg: MadTV > Empire Tv Tycoon leider.

Ziel des Spieles:
MadTV: Betty beeindrucken mit Geschenken und einer 100% Gunst, dafür müssen alle beiden Konkurrenten ausgeschaltet werden durch bessere Filme, und es kann sich hinziehen da man dem schlechtesten Punkte abzieht.
Empire TV Tycoon: 600 Ruhmpunkte erreichen. Bester Film kriegt 3 Punkte, schlechtester 1 Punkt
Klar spaßiger und spannender bei MadTv!

Mal noch eine kleine Übersicht:

- MadTV: Spionage! Man kann später schauen, was der Gegner rausbringt und darauf reagieren! Fehlt komplett bei Empire. Man sieht noch nicht mal was die Gegner an Werbung bringen.
- Zuschauergruppen bei Empire! Tolle neuerung! Das macht richtig Bock, rausfinden welche Genre bestimmte Mischungen gerne schauen, und welche nicht --> Zuschauerpunkte Hass/Liebe gibt Abzüge auf maximale Zuschauer. Toll. Leider stimmt es nicht, dass sie bei viel Hass nicht mehr einschalten, irgendwann kommen auch die die mich Hassen vor die Glotze, und nerven mich dann, weil ich permanent 10% Abzüge bekomme. (Man kann 1 Zuschauergruppe pro Tag abstellen, dass reicht bei weitem nicht)
- Werbung durchdacht bei MadTV, Werbung steigt mit Zuschauer/Sendetürmen, bei Empire passen sich die Quoaten einfach im Prozent an --> langweilig und nicht logisch, man kann einen Spot so also nicht retten indem man einen Sendeturm kauft in dem Moment.
Trotz einem Werbung Mod der schöne Stimmung mit Echtnamen reinbrachte bei Empire finde ich es unausgegoren.
- Filmnamen bei Empire und MadTV gleichermaßen schön, Empire durch "Kult" +16, xxx Genres eine Spur besser, vor allem mit Mods. Nichts ist schöner als aktuelle Filme rauszubringen.
- Eigene Filme drehen mit 2 echten Schauspielern bei Empire besser, leider nur englische Kauderwelche Texte, ohne Zusammenhang, hier hätte ich mir etwas besseres gewünscht, um den Passenden Schauspieler auswählen zu können (so ist es nur ein Try-Error mit Stärke 1-10 Schauspielern)
Das Puntesystem für die Filme ist bei Empire aber wirklich gut geworden! Da war viel testen bis ich einen 10.0 Film geschafft habe.
Negativ fällt mir auf hohen Schwierigkeitsgrad leider das Cheaten der KI auf. Sie kaufen kurz nach mir Immer auch den Sendeturm, egal wie viel Ruhm sie haben,(alle 75 Punkte darf man einen neuen Sendeturm kaufen)
Sie haben ständig die besten Filme (Auch hier muss man mit Ruhmpunkten+ Viel geld freischalten) Das alles führt dazu, dass das Ruhmsystem für den ***** ist.
Speziell aus diesem Grund: MadTV > Empire TV Tycoon

Kann es trotzdem empfehlen, da es schon ne Menge Spaß gemacht hat. Die Trophien waren herausfordernd aber nicht übermässig Schwer. Für Trophyhunters empfehlenswert.

Cute game, honestly pretty fun gameplay with entertaining dialogue. Not necessarily a tycoon game, but more of a competitive management sim. The gameplay you get when you first start is pretty much the same gameplay when you finish, so it can get pretty stale over an extended session. But it's a game I've enjoyed on and off for years now so I'd say it's worth it.

MAD TV my love and my favorite game. Empire TV is trying to be a worthy successor to Mad Tv, but it is unfinished. Too bad. I will support this game and motivate publishers to improve it or write a new, even better one.

Ich liebe Filme und das Konzept eines Filmmornarches gefällt mir immer aber nicht alle Spiele sind in diesen Bereich leider empfelentswert. A management game where you run a TV station, so you choose which programming to play while trying to appeal to your audience demographics and meeting advertiser goals. It's not bad but a playthrough feels overlong, and your knowledge of audience demographics for time slots updates throughout the day, so you're just fiddling and tweaking with your schedule constantly until it becomes tedious. It feels like it could use more points where you just sit back and press fast forward for a while and not have to think about it. As it is I can't finish a playthrough because it becomes tiresome.
