The cars control like wet cardboard and there are only 15 small maps to choose from. The singleplayer tag is highly misleading as there no bots - if you're not playing local co-op, all you can do is drive in circles around a track.

Napisać o rozczarowaniu to nic nie napisać. Kilkukrotnie w moich recenzjach przywijał się zarzut, że gdyby twórcy włożyli minimum wysiłku więcej, wówczas mogliby stworzyć naprawdę porządną grę. Tak jest i w tym wypadku. Zamysł? Świetny. Wyścigi małych samochodzików z elementami boosterów i możliwością destrukcji przeciwników. Szkoda tylko, że twórcy ograniczyli się do stworzenia jednego trybu: local co-op. Organizujesz w domu biesiadę? Świetnie, możecie grać nawet w ośmiu (do czego nawiązuje tytuł gry), ale znajomi poszli, a Ty chciałbyś dalej sobie potrenować z botami? A takiego wała. Pokonuj sobie okrążenia sam, bo przeciwników sterowanych przez AI, ani tym bardziej jakiejkolwiek kampanii nie uświadczysz. Czego jeszcze zabrakło? The issues that this game has far outweigh the positives. The premise of Eight Mini Racers is that you can compete with up to eight people, yourself included, what it doesn't say is that that there aren't any bots. It does mention that there's local multiplayer in the game description but without worldwide multiplayer, you'll be isolated playing this game.
There are 15 different maps, each noticeably different from the other 14, plus this game has items that can help you or your opponents, assuming you're not like me or the majority of people that have left reviews and been your own. This is a pretty lonely game that could've had so many improvements throughout the years, but even now, more than eight years later, it still seems to be as quiet as it started. This game is not worth £4.45, even at 90% it's still too expensive.

When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.
Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.
With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.
After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.
Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.
Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.
Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.

Ja, es ist genau so übel wie es aussieht. Dass hier Partystimmung aufkommt, könnt ihr sowas von knicken. Und trotzdem … ich kann es nicht erklären … ist das Fahrgefühl ganz nice. Also es ist schon wirklich kacke und ich würde niemandem empfehlen, auch nur einen Cent dafür auszugeben. Aber irgendwie ist es „speziell“ und ich bringe es nicht über mich, dafür keine Empfehlung auszusprechen. Wahrscheinlich ist das Spiel verzaubert und ich nun vom Teufel besessen.

Огрызок какой-то, а не игра. Гоночки с видом сверху, где весь геймплей, это 15 коротких трасс, каждую из которых можно проехать меньше, чем за минуту. Можете, конечно, увеличить количество кругов. Но надо ли оно вам? К слову, трассу можно выбрать любую. Игра выглядит как какой-то редактор, в котором слепили трассы. Выбираете любую трассу, ландшафт (асфальт или песок) и количество кругов, после чего делаете заезд. Смысла в этом нет никакого. Игра не даёт никакого экспириенса. Нет никакой статистики и т.п. Зато на трассах есть разные бустеры. Зачем мне, например, стрельба ракетой, когда ты один-одинёшенек на трассе? Не увидел в меню, чтобы можно было играть вдвоём. Про кооператив и мультиплеер и вовсе молчу.

Eight Mini Racers is a basic Unity 2D top down retro pixel racing game from the asset flip scammers at SA Industry. It's a very basic, simple racing game with no serious depth or appeal to gamers, and is very likely to be an asset flip. It certainly has all the qualities of an asset flip, which should be enough to deter gamers.
An important note: SA Industry are known asset flippers and have previously taken other developers work and put it on Steam in an attempt to scam gamers and get paid for someone else's effort.
One example of SA Industry doing this is Drive For Your Life, which is really the "[url=https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/templates/packs/zombie-drive-full-game-template-73074]Zombie Drive - Full Game Template[/url]" asset, written by the actual developers, Puppeteer.
Asset flips are harmful to the gaming industry. They're nothing but cash grabs, and they harm genuine indie developers by reducing their visibility on Steam. They make it harder for gamers to find decent games made by genuine game developers. Because this game has all the same low quality as an asset flip, as well as the other problems with it, it's impossible to recommend.

首先从核心玩法来看，游戏提供的赛车体验并不如预期那样精彩纷呈。虽然游戏主打小巧玲珑的赛车模型和赛道设计，但赛车控制手感欠佳，转向响应迟钝，物理碰撞系统不够精确，往往导致比赛中出现不真实且令人沮丧的意外状况。这大大降低了竞赛过程的紧张刺激感和竞技公平性。

另外本作的成就系统和奖励机制设置得不够合理，玩家很难从中获得持续挑战的动力和满足感。游戏内购内容的价格与其所提供的价值相比，并不划算，影响了整体游戏平衡性和用户体验。
综上所述，尽管具备独特的微型赛车概念，但在实际执行层面存在诸多不足，包括操控手感、视听体验、游戏内容深度以及网络稳定性等多个方面都需要开发者进一步打磨和完善。希望未来能见到一个更加成熟、充实且具有竞争力的升级版本。

"Eight Mini Racers" ist ein winziges Top-Down Mehrspieler Renn-Spiel.
Es gibt diese Spiele, bei denen man eigentlich keinen Daumen hoch geben möchte, denn das was vorhanden ist, ist so verdammt wenig und so verdammt faul. Und dann macht dieses Content-Nichts doch unerwartet Spaß und schon wäre ein Daumen runter eine falsche Bewertung, denn Casual-Spielchen sind doch primär dazu da, Spaß zu machen.
Zu beschreiben, was da ist, würde zu schnell gehen, deswegen starte ich lieber mit allem, was nicht da ist.
Es gibt keine KI. Man kann zwar auch alleine rumgurken und auf Zeit fahren, aber ein Rennen gegen Computergegner gibt es nicht. Um wirklich Spaß zu haben braucht es mindestens einen (und höchstens sieben) Mitfahrer, der am besten auch einen Controller haben sollte.
Wirkliche Strecken gibt es nicht. Es gibt nur 15 verschieden gestaltete Asphaltplätze, die eher die Größe eines besseren Kundenparkplatzes haben.
Es gibt keine technisch unterschiedlichen Fahrzeuge. Es gibt nur drei Reskins, aber alle steuern sich exakt gleich.
Es gibt keine angemessene Grafik. Der Fahrbereich ist eine uni-graue Fläche, die umgeben ist von einer uni-grünen Fläche, die anscheinend Gras darstellen soll. Auch alles andere läßt sich eher durch das Wort Pixelansammlung beschreiben, denn durch den Terminus ernstzunehmende Textur.
Es gibt keinen angemessenen Sound. Die Fahrzeuge klingen wie 8-Bit Nähmaschinen mit Tuberkulose. Dazu läuft sehr beliebig wirkende Hardrock-Musik.
Dummerweise aber macht das Spielchen Spaß, denn die Steuerung ist simpel, aber ziemlich gut und direkt. Allein dadurch macht das sinnfreie Racen mit Freunden schon Laune. Hinzu kommen einige sehr wenige aufsammelbare Power-Ups wie eine abfeuerbare Rakete oder ein Lenkrad, daß für kurze Zeit die Steuerung stark beeinträchtigt. Erstaunlich auch, daß ein paar kleine Details umgesetzt wurden. So sieht man die korrekten Bremsspuren dauerhaft auf der einheitlich grauen Fläche, die den Asphalt darstellen soll.
"Eight Mini Racers" ist also so etwas wie ein Partyspielchen für Zwischendurch und so und nur so funktioniert es auch.

Я люблю гонки сверху вниз, и многие из них недостаточно чисты. Самое замечательное в Eight Mini Racers - это чистота настоящих гонок.
Я сыграл несколько гонок против друга и действительно провел несколько веселых гонок.
Есть шестнадцать трасс, варьирующихся от простой петли до некоторых довольно сложных цепей, в которых вы пробиваетесь сквозь стенки шин и переплетаетесь влево и вправо.
Я могу представить, что это будет отличным примером того, как для каждого игрока, которого вы добавляете в микс, игра становится на удивление веселее. Не могу представить, как было бы здорово с 6-8 друзьями !! Очевидно, что поскольку он будет только местным, организовать его могут только некоторые. Но четверка все равно была бы крутой!
Ценник отражает простоту игры, но если у вас есть местные друзья, которым нравятся простые гонки с видом сверху, это представляет собой потрясающую ценность!

Jogo muito simples, poderia ser atualizado e tornado em algo melhor. Não tem online nem multiplayer, controles e física bem ruins. Poderia ser adicionado mais conteúdo ao jogo para torna-lo em algo melhor.

I played this game with a full 8 people, and none of us have ever played before.
First – We totally got our money's worth. The game was crazy ridiculous and chaotic, but we were able to keep track of where our cars were, which is normally a big challenge in 8-player games (see: Towerfall-8). We were all laughing and having a great time for 15 minutes or so.
Next – the bad.
The game does so much wrong, and if it fixed the stuff below, the game might be an 8-player game we want to play over and over again.
* The 15th map was the only interesting one that forced everyone close together and had interesting choices.
* When your car becomes damaged, it literally crawls at a snail's pace. It doesn't just slow down a tiny bit, it barely moves.
* When 7 cars cross the finish line, it doesn't automatically end the game, which is terrible when the 8th car is damaged and crawling. Ugh.
* The UI to actually select your car was difficult to use, and some car types are strictly worse than others.
* There is only one weapon, and you only get one shot with it.
This game is close to 8-player greatness, but some big mistakes are holding it back. Even still, more than worth it at a single dollar!

If you plan on only playing single player, don't waste your pocket change on this game. There's nothing here for you, and even if you have people coming over to play multiplayer on the same screen, since there's no online multiplayer, I'm willing to bet that it still isn't really all that fun and you'll be done with the game in less than an hour.
Восемь мини гонщиков - так переводится игра. И в описании в самом деле указывается максимальное количество игроков в количестве 8 штук. Но в видео на Стим странице игры видно только двух игроков и в настройках управления первый указан на клавиатуре, а второй на геймпаде, которого у меня нет... Ладно, может если прицепить, то прокатит. Короче, самый настоящий ввод в заблуждение... (ботов нет вообще, если не с кем играть... ХОТЯ кто захочет в ЭТО играть!? короче, придётся одному по трассам гонять)
По сути своей же это гонки на выживание с бонусами в виде ракет, препятствиями в виде мин и определёнными усилениями/ослаблениями. Можно указать 10 кругов для каждой из 15 посредственных трасс и играть до потери пульса. НО НЕ РЕКОМЕНДУЕТСЯ.

Yeah, local MP is an almost abandoned theme nowadays, so that's a good point for this game.

It's not a bad game (oh the HORROR, I want my money back ohwait, it was free...) or something.

There is a game called Musclecar Online which only lacks of local MP (online ghosts only), but got everything else.

If you played supersprint or Superskidmarks on Amiga or at the arcade you know what to expect, except much much worse and non graphical fun, also quite much more crappier gameplay. Go in your own memory and remember the good games that was before this hell on earth ♥♥♥♥♥♥ cargame with bad unoptimized car driving where only the mentally specially gifted are the true heroes...no not even them...there can be only loosers.
Its better to crush a snail with your teeth than playing this game, they both leave the same taste in your mouth...I know since I actually feelt that I needed to see if that wasnt the better taste...with the snail...crushed.. no it wasnt I understood a bit to late..but then again I think you should consider crushing the snail instead of soiling your steam library with this inferior product of a so called game.
Totally overpriced.
I thought this game would be fun, but it turns out the Singleplayer is just you driving alone, and there aren't any bots to race against whatsoever. The only way you can play this game with other people is through local multiplayer. If this game had online multiplayer, it could be a very fun game.

I love top down racers and so many of the don't keep things pure enough. The great thing about Eight Mini Racers is how pure the actual racing is.

There are sixteen tracks varying from a simple loop to some quite complex circuits that involve you crashing through tyre walls and weaving left and right.
I can imagine this is going to be a great example of for every player you add in the mix the game becomes amazingly more fun. I can't imagine how great it would be with 6-8 friends!! Obviously with it being local only, arranging this is going to only some can manage. But four-players would still be awesome!
The price tag refelects the simplicity of the game but if you have some local friends that enjoy simple top-down racers this represents amazing value!
