Плохо всё. Ачивки не работают, постоянные краши при попытке что-либо продать, переход на следующий данж также не происходит. Сама игра только в режиме окна и это никак не поменять, потому что настроек в игре то и нет. Причем разрабы насколько я понял русские, но сама игра на английском. Также нет никакого сюжета или повествования - вас просто кидают куда-то делать что-то.
Так еще тут похоже и отзывы накручены хз

I am 32 years old.
My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old.
When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.
Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.
With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.
After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.
Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.
Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.
Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.

Dungeon Of Gain tries to be a classic roguelike, a bit like Dungeons Of Dredmor.
Dungeons Of Dredmor, which was released in 2011, was a great game. I'm sure Defroids Team played DOD aswell and wanted to make their own version. 5 years later Dungeon of Gain was born and what an abortion it would be....
Everything about this game is just bad; the UI, the annoying sounds, tedious music, boring gameplay. If that doesn't scare you then maybe the constant crashes will.
Juego de Dungeons, musica buena (repetitiva unica en loop), graficos semi decentes, pero la jugabilidad es mala, controles deficientes, como de 1980-90 (el juego es del 2016), no da, simplemente esta todo muy mal optimizado y es francamente muy mal, lo mismo que el hud y cuestiones de inventario, es no recomendable.
Puntos positivos, tiene cromos, y logros y es barato.

If you can get past the crashing and freezing you will find that you weren't really missing out on much to begin with. The amount of bugs in this game is absolutely insane. Every single thing has something wrong with it, right down to what little text is represented in the game overlapping itself.
Bugi, zepsuty interfejs, crashe.... gra dodatkowo wygląda jak kiepski port gry z androida. A szkoda :/

Helpコマンドは完璧なまでに実行されず、割り当てられたコントロールは割り当てられてません。素晴らしいです。
そしてインベントリは圧迫される毎にその容量を爆発的に増加させます。それはゲームの応答が止まるまで止まりません。
敵はとても弱く、レベルはどんどん上がります。でも大丈夫、バランスは最高です。最初のボスにワンクリックするとプレイキャラが死にます。とても楽しかったです。
私は正直者なのでこの人生最良の出会いに相応しい評価を付けたいと思います。皆さんもぜひ検討してみて下さい。
The game crashes so much that it is unplayable. You CANNOT sell anything that you get and if you do get to a store it crashes immediately if you try. There has not been an update to this game in over 2 years and has been abandoned.

Dungeon of Gain is a top down RPG/roguelike game with serious problems.
Apart from the mediocre graphics, the game is unreliable and crashes within minutes of launch. Resolution is fixed, too, so the game looks ugly at just about any resolution. The developer wasn't capable of proper level/story/progression design so used repetitive/samey procgen algorithms as a substitute for adding content to the game. As a result, the game has little to no meaningful content.
This kind of lazy, low quality development isn't acceptable. Don't buy this.
Crashed within 10 minutes of playing. Controls are slow and story and text are non-existent. Do not waste money.
Laggy and buggy top-down dungeon crawler/ RPG game with no quest text or item descriptions. It has some kind of an exploration aspect to it, but your field of view is 3x3 squares when the whole screen gameplay area is around 14x10 and rooms can be large. You find items but they don't seem to drop anything and you don't see the hp of enemies that attack you. Said enemies are extremely easy to get rid of with ranged weapons (they might not even get to you).
The game crashed after 11 minutes.

-Does not fullscreen at all
-Controller not detected or working
-Some sound effects are missing (opening doors)
-Level design almost feels procedurally generated and is poor all around, long corridors and featureless small rooms
-Turn based rogue like system just introduces strange jankyness when trying to move in large swathes, and sometimes a bunch of inputs get registered and spiders will enter combat at lightning speed turning into sacks of loot before you realize what happened
-Cannot loot, I tried every logical key combination and mice convention
-Difficulty seemed off I could just steamroll through everything
-Game would drop frames constantly, especially when lighting up torches
-Low Field of Vision just hurts the experience
-Pathfinding would often get stuck in akward input loops and would stutter until it would run out. This happened most between tiles that contained scenery you could click on to make them disappear
-Tabletgrade sprites and repetitive looped music of low quality
-World setting is bare and derivative with stereotypical vermin against mage/rogue/fighter

Very bad game so far it had lots of potential however if this is the finished product avoid it i am looking at the reviews for the alpha and they are still coming up. the game crashes every 5 seconds of play and you cannot get anything done. I keep trying it to see if they are going to fix it but it looks like the Devs really don't care. I keep seeing it in my inventory and saying how it looks good and why i have not played it much and when i launch it i immediately remember

Broken beyond belief. Damn near everything I have done in this game has basically caused it to shut down one way or another. Between some sort of crash from trying to sell an item or trash something down to a runtime error for simply walking down a hallway, you'll restart this game more times than you'll ever care to. Oh, and sanity? Yeah, consider that lost with the constant grinding sound of repeatedly walking into a walk ever split second with a full suit of armor on when you're walking down another hall, stuck on absolutely nothing, or just at a full stop standing there.
Oh, and if you think achievements might save the game somehow? They won't. They're broken. They don't unlock. And cards? Well, I can't be ♥♥♥♥♥♥ enough to even bother trying to get one or see if they're even selling on the marketplace here.
All of this is sad because, if anything, the game at least looks competant. If the developer would fix these issues and other slight problems like the invenory down arrow being a not aligned properly up arrow, this would have been a casual enough dungeon crawler work a buck or two during a sale to kill some time. Instead it's nothing but highly broken, pretty muh unplayable garbage you'll put a refund in for before you reach the second level of a map like I somehow managed to do.
I can't even play the bloody thing! I scoot around for about 2 minutes, killed some spiders, then it crashed. I boot it back up, poke into a shop, instant crash. I didn't look at the reviews and I regret it.

Wish I didn't buy this game. Requesting a refund. It looks like a postage stamp with no way to change the resolution. The gameplay is buggy and the graphics are poor. Also the gameplay is lacking. In the 12 minutes I played it was basically just move -> attack -> loot corpse.

Keď som túto hru asi pred rokom skúšala, bola hrateľná, i keď mala svoje chyby - neustále padala, neukladala hru, jej rozlíšenie bolo príliš veľké a tak mi pri hre chýbala spodná časť obrazovky.
Ale fungovala, išla docela plynulo i keď mala hromadu chýb.
Pri prehrabávaní svojej knihovny som na ňu znovu narazila a prekvapilo ma, že má odznaky (achievement), tak som ju znovu nahrala.
A sklamala som sa, oproti starej verzii je naprosto nehrateľná - ovládanie v hre je napísane pre klávesnicu, ale nefunguje, jediné ovládanie je na myši, pri pokuse o nakupovanie či predávanie hra automaticky spadne a je strašne pomalá, neoptimalizovaná, jediné jej plus je, že herná obrazovka sa mi vmestí v pohode do veľkosti môjho monitora.
Vyfarmite si kartičky a zabudnite, že ste ju kedy hrali.
Možno o rok, o dva bude hrateľná. Alebo ju vývojar/i zakopú do zeme naveky a už sa nič nezmení.

Who doesn't capitalize the name of their game..?
I looked past this annoying fact and took a little time to try out the game but I just can't recommend it. I know that "every game has its faults" but I don't even know where to begin. Unless I'm missing something really obvious, the UI is an non-interactive mess and the gameplay is mediocre at best.

I honestly want to LAUGH at this game. Tried it for about 7 minutes, after 1 min, got stuck in the floor.I figured it may have been just a honest little rare glitch, until it happened 6 more times, having to quit to main menu each time. I am amazed at how choppy this game is. I had read the reviews but wow. NEVER BUY THIS! I got it in a bundle so I have no regrets, minus the 7 minutes wasted trying it out, and the time spent reviewing it.
This game is a cash grab by the developer (singular). I strongly advise against supporting him.

Basically nothing works right in this game, it fails to have veriety in the characters, or proper controls for that matter. At one point the game broke on me and didnt allow me to continue onward. This game also lacks the inherit laugh factor of being bad and just comes off as totally boring.
DON'T BUY
The UI is clean enough and it is very easy to pick up and play. Unfortunately, the game play is still somewhat buggy, retched difficulty spikes, and odd questing system (you can get quests that are impossible to fulfill) make it impossible to enjoy for long periods of time.
This game adds nothing to the rogue-like genre and it is not worth playing, even if free. Avoid it even when finished since the design choices will never make it worth playing.
I'm as big a sucker for roguelikes as you're likely to find, so any roguelike game starts out ahead of the game. Unfortunately, not even this advantage is enough to save Dungeon of Gain. Conceptually, it's a cookie cutter roguelike. There is nothing novel or different (in a positive way) about it. Given that the genre is getting a tad saturated, you'd expect new entries to try to bring something new to the picnic, but DoG just brings potato salad. Ok, fair enough - bein a fan of the genre, I'm satisfied with a well implemented "standard" roguelike, if novelty isn't on offer.
I am, for the most part, not a fan of Early Access. While there are a few shining exceptions, I find that for the most part, EA seems to be a way for developers to cash in on their game without finishing it, and with the increasing number of EA games either never leaving EA, or doing so by calling whatever they happen to currently have version 1.0, and then moving on to greener pastures, my willingness to cut games in EA slack is quickly diminishing. I am, however, willing to forgive a certain amount of sharp edges, placeholder graphic or just general unfinishedness.
I am not, however, willing to forgive a game in EA for being unplayable, or nearly so, due to broken implementation or design. And there is plenty of that in Dungeon of Gain. Worse still, even setting aside such brokeness, the underlying game mechanics exposed by the game leaves a lot to be desired - in its current state, the game just isn't very interesting. It's very barebones and simplistic, and while I supposed it might be possible that their development plan calls for them to first get the basics of moving around and fighting working before working on depth and more intricate mechanics, I am sceptical. Not just because it seems they're having such a hard time getting the basics to work, but also because there seems to be little in the way of underlaying structure on which to build such mechanics or achieve depth.
So, in conclusion, my recommendation is to stay away from Dungeon of Gain in its current Early Access incarnation completely, and should the game ever graduate from EA into a full release, to scrutinize the "completed" game carefully, to ensure it really has been completed, and not just had v1.0 slapped on the latest prototype and shoved out the door.
(Oh, and my limited playtime? I've tried playing the game multiple times before it got onto Steam, so my brief testing on Steam was mostly a matter of checking if anything had changed substantially between the last pre-Steam version and its Steam premiere incarnation.)

[b]Fully accessible.[/b] There doesn't seem to be spoken text as it is a very simple game. In fact, there's barely any text at all.

[*] The UI is not polished. Numbers overlap, are not aligned, and are even interrupted by a linebreak when they are too long. The words don't fare much better. (On widescreen monitors) the menus show pieces of themselves next to them.
[*] The game takes a lot of CPU power, for what? Is it trying to calculate the prime numbers while you are playing the game?
[*] The game is often 'Not Responding'. It seems to get progressively worse as time passes. Especially noticeable when you visit the store or check your inventory. It can get so bad that you have to wait over a minute before you finally leave the inventory. Trust me, I've typed this whole review while waiting for the game to respond again.
[*] You can't see what you've looted until you check your inventory. And because of above issues... I suggest you go make a cup of tea in the meantime. Or coffee.
[*] When using healing potions, you see your HP orb get fuller but its number doesn't update.
[*] The store is flawed. You can switch between the Buy and Sell tabs repeatedly and keep selling your gear. Only when you've exited the store, your gear will have been marked as gone, but in the meantime you'll be rich! RICH!
[*] Movement isn't fluid. Sometimes you'll even be 'stuck' as you are half on some other tile and need to move aside a bit. I'm not sure this should even be possible.
[*] Combat is boring. You just bump into the monsters or click on them. I'm not entirely sure yet if the extra abilities do anything at all.
[*] The menu button is distinguished as a pause button. Kind of weird when you realize this is a turn-based roguelike. But now you know!

Definitely not worth any purchase at this stage. Many of the flaws in this game are so basic that I'm amazed they made this game public this soon. And because of the progressively worse lag, the game isn't even really playable at this point.
I'm not even sure the devs know what they're doing, seeing as they don't even have a sticky thread encouraging users to post bug reports. They're not exactly pro-active at a first glance.

Considering this is Early Access, I can't review the finished product, but the fact that it's here on Early Access means they are showcashing the potential of their game and asking for help to fund its development. So I'm going to say I do not like the direction this game is going in. Even if the gameplay was changed to be more fluid, the art style still turns me off. And if it's going to eventually change into some different, better, amazing game than it currently is, what's the point of having it here in the first place? The price is steep, especially when you compare it to Claustrophobia: The Downward Struggle, which is also Early Access on Steam and plays much better than this.
Why do I have this game? Because I'm dumb. Wanna be dumb with me? Buy it!
Changing my review to reflect changes in game. I previously had said that I wouldn't pay full price for the game in current state. That is because the price that showed up on my screen was $12.99. Now it is $2.99. Big difference!
Personally, I like rogue-like games alot. While this game still needs work, I definitely believe that the developer will complete the game and fix the many bugs. So for $2.99 I would definitely gamble on this game.

UPDATE: They are selling this game on a popular third party game store online for $11.99 and it has one review which praises it highly and gives it 5/5 stars. I'm saying nothing.

If you want to understand the history of this game and the strength of feeling against it then you should know that when it first came out it cost £10, it was not marked as early access and it had massive issues like escape key insta-quits the game and it would lock up for 30 seconds at a time and not respond to input then randomly walk you about when it "came back". You also could only play one of the three classes. (An issue, which like some others was working in the Desura version).
I have updated the review as the devs have massively lowered the price and fixed some of the bugs.
REVIEW STARTS:
This game is fairly cheap but it is also not very good. I really get the impression that the developer(s) are not fans of the roguelike genre. I don't imagine them enjoying their own game, I think they are just "pushing it out there" to make money.
One of the most fundamental problems with the game is that the controls are arbitrary and the way you do things is not consistent. In a normal roguelike, attempting to move into the space occupied by a thing (called "bumping") activates a default action: thus, bumping into a door attempts to open it, bumping a monster attacks it. In this game, bumping into a monster will attack it but doors you have to turn to face them and then press the action button (space by default). You can use the mouse to click on a monster to attack it (allowing you to attack diagonally) but you can't click on doors to open them. You can use the keyboard to move around but you can't use the mouse to click and move. You have to use the mouse to take things from chests.
The bottom line is that whether you prefer to play roguelike games with a mouse or with a keyboard you are forced to use both. If you just used keyboard you wouldn't be able to take anything out of chests and wouldn't be able to attack monsters diagonally (which is do-able but makes the game harder). If you just use mouse, well, you can't even move.
I mean come on guys, basic things like escape should close windows and enter should accept them. Do you guys not play PC games at all?
If you ignore the problems with the controls, or they get fixed, and all the various bugs get fixed you aren't left with a _terrible_ game, but it is shallow, boring, and possibly unbalanced. There are better roguelikes on steam that you could be playing, and lots of free ones not on steam.

List of bugs section, just dumping them here:
Bug: If playing as rogue (not sure about others) if you attack an enemy by moving backwards away from it and it dies, the corpse will become a barrier that you can't pass. It's very possible to get trapped this way.
Bug: Level gen takes far longer than it should. There is also sometimes a massive delay when searching a corpse for treasure: I'm talking like 10 seconds.
Bug: Selling a weapon you're not using un-equips the weapon you are using.
Bug: Sound disappears sometimes.
Bug: I got really, really far. I was on level 11 (hero level) and found some great weapon. I was even starting to enjoy it a little bit, or rather I wanted to see if I could get to the end since I had 700+ potions and nearly all skills on full. Then I picked a key up from a corpse and the game crashed. When I relaunched the game and continued my skills were lower than they used to be (even considering when I last "saved" by going to main menu and back, and the camera was not centred on my characted so i had no idea where I was. Quitting to menu and back again fixed it but now whenever I open my fitting screen (character equipment), the game crashes.
Bug: when buying potions, if you click on a potion more than once then you get an endless "do you really want to sell the potion health for $10" and every time you click ok you lose 10 gold until you go negative gold. http://i.imgur.com/llFpsc3.jpg
Bug: I bought a better weapon from a merchant and it showed both my old weapon and my new weapon as being used (green check (tick)) When I went to my character "fitting" screen it showed my attack as zero. All seemed ok once i equipped the new weapon.
Bug: Buying a weapon says "Are you sure you want to SELL this axe for ..." rather than "buy".
Bug: The currency in the game looks like gold coins but the merchant says "Are you sure you want to buy this axe for $75?" DOLLARS?! SERIOUSLYI? Did you just take the code from some other game that used modern day setting or something?
Not a bug but: Could you make it easier to buy more than one potion at once? It's tedious buying 30.
Bug: when you use a potion the graphic fullness of your hp orb fills up but the percentage number does not update until you get damaged again.
Bug: game sometimes locks up and won't process movement keys any more. Happened to me after using the mouse to attack a spider to my left when I was facing up (because pressing left turned me briefly towards the mob then back away again, see below). You can use the "pause" button (menu button really) to change settings etc- the game hasn't crashed, but you can't play it any more. Only way to fix it is to quit to main menu then continue option.
Bug: game sometimes locks up when just using movement keys. May be to do with anticipating the corner coming up and pressing the button early.
Bug: Depending on whether you bumped into something and what direction you were moving in, your character won't always stay facing the direction you tried to move in. (eg you move left, bump into a wall then press up to face the door above you so you can open it, but your character flicks back to face left so you can't open the door). Can happen so you can't attack a mob by bumping it too, as noted above.
Graphical bug: player standing facing door to the south appears to be standing on top of door rather than behind it (draw order / z order bug).
Bug: scrollbar handle (user interface element), which looks a bit like a jewel, shows up in the screen where you take things from chests, even when there's only one or even no items to take. It's very confusing because it looks like an object you can take.
Bug: The "won the level" screen is not centred, it's in top left of the screen.
Bug: Experience bar remains filled up after leveling so you can't tell how far into each level you are, xp-wise after the first.
Bug: If you go to next dungeon level when xp bar is filled and says "up" it will still say "up" on next dungeon level but the bar will be on half full. (And after you use the button to level up it will still say level 1)

Bug: I had the xp bar showing "up" and I could click it to add skills but I had no points.
