Lots of Nostalgia with this game
This game brought back memories of when I played it during the Wii U era, and it's still fun to this day. The only issue I have is that they're missing 2 playsets (Marvel battlegrounds and Finding Dory) and a couple characters, I recommend downloading the breeze mod, it adds some of those characters and brings back scrapped characters like Gwen Stacy Spider-Man.

Graphics doesn't work for newer AMD graphics cards, but 1.0 and 2.0 work fine. However, I swiched to an older one and the game is great.

Disney Infinity 3.0: Gold Edition es ese experimento de Acción/Aventura donde Disney dijo: “¿Y si metemos a medio multiverso en una licuadora sandbox y que el jugador haga el resto?” Tienes combate en tercera persona, exploración, misiones ligeras y un enfoque fuerte en crear/armar cosas tipo construcción dentro de sus mundos. Es como un parque temático digital: bonito, ruidoso y diseñado para que digas “solo una actividad más”… hasta que te das cuenta de que llevas dos horas haciendo carreras y decorando.
La primera impresión es clara: esto no quiere ser un Souls, quiere ser un juguete. Y como juguete funciona: accesible, rápido de entender y con ese encanto “para toda la familia” que Disney sabe vender. Pero como videojuego “exigente” en Steam… digamos que a ratos se siente más como una caja de herramientas con personajes famosos que como una aventura redonda con identidad propia.

In questa versione digitale, i Play Set dedicati ai Jedi risultano indubbiamente i più divertenti, curati e rifiniti dell'intera trilogia. Tuttavia, la maggiore qualità del gameplay non basta a nascondere i limiti strutturali di un progetto nato con un solo scopo: vendere statuette.
Sebbene le avventure nella "galassia lontana lontana" siano inizialmente stimolanti, la loro longevità è ridottissima e la varietà delle situazioni scema molto rapidamente. Il passaggio al digitale mette a nudo la realtà: senza il feticcio fisico della statuina da poggiare sulla base, il senso di progressione si sgretola. Ci si ritrova tra le mani un gioco con meccaniche che sentono tutto il peso degli anni e che non riesce a giustificare la propria esistenza al di fuori del suo ecosistema commerciale originale.
Il problema più grave rimane però quello dei predecessori: con i server chiusi, la modalità sandbox (il cuore dell'esperienza) è diventata una prigione solitaria, priva di ogni possibilità di condivisione o interazione con la community. Ad oggi, ha ancora senso acquistare un titolo del genere? I remember playing this game a lot on my PS4 when I was younger. It's really cool that you can now change characters at will by the pressing of a few buttons instead of getting up from your couch to change the figure on the base. I only have 2 complaints about this game. 1. Not everything is here; it's missing some characters (where tf is nemo? I wanna kill enemies using bubbles.). 2. It's a real damn shame they shut down the online servers years ago. I never got to experience online play as I never had (and still don't have) PlayStation Network. Other than those 2 complaints, this game is pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome. I love picking up the little Ewoks in the parkour area or whatever it was called and just kicking them from high above the trees. Would I recommend this game to my friends? Yes and no. I mean, there's no online multiplayer so me and my friends can't kick civilians so that sucks; but then again the game is fun as hell and I would definitely recommend this game. It's so addicting that I spent several hours on it when I played this game on my PS4. My dad bought the trilogy here on Steam and he spent 8.6 hours on 1.0 edition. I would have also spent way longer playing this game on PC if it wasn't for the fact that I have homework to do. So bottom line; this game is worth every penny.

I think it's awesome that the developers made this collection! As someone who never got to play Disney Infinity 3.0 and most of 2.0 I'm just happy that experience doesn't feel unobtainable. You can just fork over 8 bucks during a steam sale and get hundreds of dollars worth of content

I 100% recommend buying this game. I used to play this game all the time with my siblings so it took me way back. It comes with almost every figure and playset digitally. It is only missing Nemo, Dory, Steve Rodgers and a few other figures, and it is missing 1 or 2 playsets. There are only 2 downsides. One, you won't actually get any of the actual figures which is kind of the whole point of the game. Two, you cannot play multiplayer which makes the Toy Box not as entertaining. Overall it is a very fun game and I do recommend buying it.

ah yes disney infinity i love this game since i was a kid. I remember hunting down all those figures very annyoning to collect them all. When i found out all 3 of them has every singke figure, and power disc, and playsets, ever made for the game i had to get them .But i will say some contect is mssing the alice in wonderland figures and baloo, the finding dory playset, and as well the marvel battlegrounds playset. I mean i do recommend all 3 games i really do but if 3.0 adds the rest of the characters that are missing it will be amazing as well as multiplayer.

I've always like the toys-to-life concept when it was popular specially the creative part. DI 3 is probably the best of the 3 Disney Infinity games with the most advanced gameplay and toy boy building mechanics. However, because of Disney's sudden ball drop with DI, the last group of characters were not included in this Disney Infinity 3.0 Gold Edition: Ant Man, Black Panther, Captain America (Steve Rogers), Vision, Dory, Nemo, Alice and Timekeeper.

I was eager to dive straight into toy box mode as it is the fondest memory from my childhood of playing this game. Alas, that eagerness quickly drained when I actually attempted to build things.
Firstly, I understand that the toy box UI was created with consoles in mind, so the interface is already pretty inefficient and not built for mouse controls. Lots of scrolling, menus within menus, etc. However, this port in particular does have some mouse controls, except they constantly glitch out. Multiple times, I would attempt to click certain buttons and be unsuccessful, having to close and open the building UI tp regain functionality. Also, at one point I lost the ability to rotate the camera (essential when you're trying to build something) and I had to close the whole game to get it back. This experience was frustrating enough that I've decided to stick to the main campaigns instead of freely building in the toy box, which I was most looking forward to.

this is my childhood game. i played this on the xbox 360 and i wanted to play it again after a couple years but i dont know where are all my disney infinity characters and portal. but then i found out about the golden version on steam. i was exited but the price was really high. instead of buying this on steam i bought a steam key and got it for around 3 usd.
really fun game! i like it now and i loved it then. 9/10. way better than disney infinity 1.0.

I've only played this for about an hour but it was so much fun. Wish my parents had boguht it for me on the Wii. The only thing is that I think it's missing some of the playsets from 1.0 and 2.0. The only ones I see avaible are the ones listed for 3.0 but not the previous ones. All the characters and cards seem to be there though.

Should have splitscreen and more Disney themed playsets.
Also some classic characters like Hercules are missing.

Le jeu de mon enfance ! franchement appart le multijoueur qui nes pas sur cette version le jeux est excellent ! la comu permet de re partager les toy box les aventure sont bien on peut faire des gros projets franchement il vaut le coup il n’est pas cher. Si vous aimer Disney foncer et rejoignez le groupe de personne qui son triste que ce jeu soit annulé. Peut étre reviendra-t-il un jour…

Rendere un gioco Toys to Life giocabile senza le statuette NFC è di base un'ottima idea. Purtroppo però il gioco si trova in uno stato incompleto: manca la co-op, che è ciò che rendeva divertenti in primo luogo questi giochi, due campagne e diversi personaggi. Come per 1.0 e 2.0, la versione per Steam ha tutte le lingue tranne l'italiano.
