This game is a cozy, ADHD wonderland. It's even better if you have strong nostalgia for Disney, with love for characters and movies old and new. They have integrated such a diverse population of characters, modes of play, and ways of decorating. No matter what your preferred way to get cozy with a game is (farming or task simulation, riding horses, dressing up, decorating, completing story quests, creating pictures and cozy, aesthetic content) this game is for you! They add new stuff all the time, make paid currency accessible via their DreamSnap contests, and are very attentive to their online community and I personally feel like their player support is fantastic. I'm a mom, a teacher, and a child inside who has found the themes and stories of the characters to be thoughtful, applicable, and emotionally so aware. I see lots of reviews that say this is a game for kids.... but really they made it to appeal to us Disney loving adults who are still children that simply had to grow up too fast. Themes of rediscovering your dreams, keeping imagination alive, rediscovering and loving your inner child, learning to slow down and relax, coping with sadness and finding joy, or even rediscovering romance and wanting to do more for a loved one. Truly this game is one of my favorites and while it may not be everyone's thing, I truly believe they have something in this game that will appeal to a variety of players in so many ways.

Bonjour,
Ce jeu est top , il est prenant, très beaux paysages et de très belles constructions. On ne voit pas les heures passées. J'adore !!!
Les quêtes sont bien expliquées dans l'ensemble.
Cependant je trouve dommage que le sac à dos soit un peu petit ce qui fait beaucoup d' aller et retour dans notre maison ou au magasin.
Une autre chose, depuis que j'ai commencé ce jeu, je n ai pas pu finir les quêtes de Daisy car je n'ai jamais les objets demandés et je ne les trouve pas au magasin de Picsou.
En tout cas merci pour ce jeu.

If you like harvest moon, animal crossing and you loved the Disney renaissance then you will probably love this game. If you have ADHD you will probably love this game more. There is always something to do, character friendships to level up, quests to complete, storyline to work on. You can be creative and design your environments. Hours of fun.

O jogo é excelente, sempre tem atualizacoes, tem missoes até vc completar 90 anos e meu namorado aprovou pq agora ele pode jogar e esquecer por 6h que eu existo enquanto eu to jogando esse joguinho. I absolutely love this game! There's tons of gameplay for the price, and I've been really addicted recently! If you like cozy games like Stardew Valley, The Sims, City Skylines, etc. you'll love this game, very addicting strategy with plenty of quests and content to keep you interested, but you can also just kinda do your own thing if you'd like. The further on in the game, there are a couple of bugs that are a bit annoying, but they haven't kept me from wanted to continue playing (yet, we'll see how bad they get.) The additional packs aren't really necessary and are a bit more expensive than I'd personally want to spend, but if you get them on a good sale, they're definitely worth it! I have 100+ hours in the game and I'm still very much enjoying the base game.

After 200 hours, I can confidently say that I do not recommend this game to anyone. Most quests feel like the writers just sat down and came up with a way to waste the most amount of your time. They are tedious fetch quests, where nothing feels really earned or worthwhile anymore. Characters added earlier don't feel so hollow, but it just seems to get worse with each addition.

This is maybe a matter of taste, however. The biggest issue with this game is its aggressive microtransaction. Every new cosmetic item, clothing, hair styles, etc. costs $10+ in moonstones. Star paths are the same. I can forgive paying another $30 or so for a full DLC but even half that for what? A cosmetic for your watering can? Is ridiculous. Sure, you can get free moonstones here and there, but never enough to buy an item for the short duration it is in the shop. Instead of adding items to the actual in-game store, Scrooge's shop, Disney and Gameloft would rather make us pay hundreds in cosmetic items that do nothing to improve or change gameplay.

I'll still play the game, I paid good money for it after all. It can be good mindless fun like any farming sim, but I wouldn't waste a dime on a game so lifeless and predatory.

Amazing game, but would wish for more qol life features such as, When a quest requires you to find someone and youn are tracking it it leads you to where they are rather than having to go into the map and manually find them and clicking on them, as the map is small and becomes bloated with every villager.

I absolutely LOVE this game, yes there are things here and there that I would like to see changed like with most games but Disney Dreamlight Valley is one of my all time favourite games.

Whenever I run out of story/friendship/starpath quests to do I spent a LOT of time decorating my valley along with the DLC worlds.

If you enjoy animal crossing, stardew valley or other cozy games like those I cannot recommend Disney Dreamlight Valley enough.

I dont feel pressured to complete quests by a certain time, and i can dress in villian or gothic inspired outfits. I like how when I log in, I can do whatever I feel like doing. I knew I was going to like the game, but I own so many games that I wanted to wait till it went on sale before buying. Fast forward two years...Finally bought it when it was 30% off. Picked up the two older DLC's that we also on sale. Was addicted from the start. Played over 100 hours in less than two weeks. I have only had the game for a month now and have almost 300 hours in. As I mentioned I own two of the DLC's but have not done much with them because I am still busy doing things in the base game. I have not even started to decorate yet. I know this game comes with premium currency but honestly if you participate in the dreamsnaps and other participation opportunities, you can avoid spending real money and be able to save up (pin something you want to save) and still be able to buy it. The items you can buy with in-game money and rewards are very nice as well. All in all... I if you look at the formula 1 dollar per hour of enjoyment in a game... will it pay for itself... The answer in my case is yes. I have been playing everyday since I bought the game. My friend is also having a blast playing as well. The only thing I wish it had was more sound option sliders so I could lower the special effects sounds and turn up the ambient sounds (nature, rain, etc.)

Overall, this is a lovely cozy game with opportunities for farming, cooking, decorating, exploring, questing, and more. However, the game can be a lit janky - I noticed and checked with other users that the game can stutter or freeze, and there are certain bugs in the game (equipping a pet and having that pet accidentally get your item drop can freeze a quest). If you're okay with the bugs and quirks, it's hours and hours of gameplay

Disney Dreamlight Valley is such a gem. I usually need at least a little combat to stay hooked but with the constant stream of new characters and quests, I don't even miss it. With 100 hours logged, I still have a few areas to unlock and tons of characters to meet (not including the DLCs which I haven't tried yet). I wouldn't call myself a huge Disney fan so I was a little hesitant of the vibe but I'm so happy I tried it out. This game is really fun, very low stress and the decorating options are awesome. YOu can customize your village and house from top to bottom which is really fun and a big plus for me as a huge lover of Sims.

My only complaint is that the game is in real time which makes some quests a bit more tricky since I mostly play at night (though luckily you can adjust the lighting so you're not always playing in the dark). Definitely recommend trying this game out.

I have played this game since it came out on the switch years ago and then after getting all the DLCs on my switch it began to lag and crash my switch so when I saw DDV on sale on steam I had to grab it! I absolutely love this game, the storyline is unique and entertaining, the characters are well designed and I love how they interact with each other throughout the valley! I 100% recommend this game for people who like calm relaxing games with some grind but not overwhelming amount. It also works very well on my potato computer so yay!

I've been playing Disney Dreamlight Valley since early access in January 2023, and over 1,000 hours later... split between Switch and Steam... I'm still not done with it.

I came to this game during a rough stretch. I was looking for something like Animal Crossing, typed it into Google, and DDV showed up. That search genuinely changed things for me. It pulled me into cozy gaming as a whole, eventually led me to start streaming, and I now have a small community built around it. I even use it as a conversation starter with my students, which I never would have predicted.

What keeps me coming back is how alive the game feels. The devs actually listen... updates consistently reflect real feedback from the community, and the game has grown and evolved in ways that make it feel cared for. The mechanics stay approachable, the customization is deep enough to feel personal, and the storylines hit that nostalgic Disney sweet spot without being heavy-handed.

The DLCs are worth it. Storybook Vale is my favorite... it adds a whole new layer of coziness that fits the game perfectly. Wishblossom didn't land for me as much, but I'll be honest, I'm just not a horse person, so take that with a grain of salt.

The quest backlog is real. If you're someone who needs a clean journal, this game will stress you out. I've made peace with chipping away at it slowly, and honestly that's become part of the rhythm.

One thing worth noting for Steam players specifically: I actually switched from a Nintendo Switch OLED to a Steam Deck OLED partly because of how laggy DDV ran on Switch. The difference is significant... if you're on the fence about platform, PC is the move.

It's worth the price. If you want a cozy game with real staying power and a dev team that gives a damn, DDV delivers.

Disnet Dreamlight Valley un très bon jeu , pour chill, se détendre , s'amuser , live.
C'est un Animal Crossing version Disney et beaucoup meilleur.
Les Graphismes sont très bien , magnifique rien n'a dire.
Le Point Négative du jeux c'est que il n'y a pas assez de personne dans le jeux, il n'en r'ajoute au moins 5 dans une année ok mais juste au fils du temps on n'a plus de place dans la valley.
Avec les maisons , restaurant , marchand , magasins...
On n'a plus de place malgrès les plusieur zones dispoible dans le jeu et auss ile truc qui est dommage c'est que les personnages ( Villagoies ) ne n'apparaissent pas tous en méme temps dans le village, moi j'aimerai voir tous les villagoies réunions dans le villages sa serai extraordinaire. Je pense qui évite de faire cela pour éviter les lags.
Sinon très bon jeux pour les fans de Disney,Pixar,Star Wars... Passez une soirée dessus en détente c'est très bien.

Чисто случайно наткнулась на эту игру и вообще не ожидала, что она окажется настолько чудесной! С первых минут поймала очень тёплую и уютную атмосферу. Персонажи сразу вызывают ностальгию — будто снова наступили выходные, а по телевизору показывают мультфильмы Disney.
Очень порадовало, что кроме знакомых героев здесь появляются и новые персонажи. Сама игра — это лёгкая и приятная песочница, которая вообще не напрягает: выполняешь простые задания, постепенно развиваешь долину, общаешься с героями и просто отдыхаешь. Иногда, конечно, встречаются моменты, где нужно немного подумать, но в этом тоже есть свой кайф.
Отсутствие русского языка лично для меня не стало проблемой — во всём вполне можно разобраться самостоятельно, а при желании поставить русификатор.
Отдельно хочу сказать про донат: без него спокойно можно играть и ничего не терять. Донат здесь в основном про косметику и декор, на сам игровой процесс он никак не влияет. Ну а если захочется чего-то красивого — всегда можно заглянуть к дяде Скруджу :)

I'm not sure WHAT the problem is, but NOTHING works. There hasn't been a single quest I've been on that doesn't have an unfixed known glitch. I wanted to PLAY A GAME, but contacting support to get you past every single quest isn't game play, it's free tech support. Oh, AND when you try to reach out to tech support, you'll be met by AI bots that just tell you to close out the browser and it will ping your phone. Excuse me? I never gave the site permission to notify me. So, I don't leave the page, I'm staring at a blank screen for 30 mins in silence. -10/10

As a lifelong Disney fan, this game was appealing to me simply due to the characters and story line, but it ended up being an even better replacement for Animal Crossing! It doesn't have real-time constraints and making money is not as hard, allowing the game to progress a lot faster especially when you cannot play during Animal Crossing's ideal hours, as I often work overnight and sleep during the day. Runs perfectly on the Steam Deck as well!

This game is a kind of like a Disney version of Stardew Valley with just a more relaxing vibe. It can be a bit tedious with some of the quests which are mostly just collecting various items around the world. There are a ton of ways to customize the world with thousands of different decorations and you can interact with a bunch of Disney characters. This game is constantly being updated with new characters added all the time. Overall this is a really fun, relaxing game.

I was loving this game for quite some time... (Besides Donald Duck screaming periodically, making me run away from him or mute my game entirely and wait for him to stop.) Until it became impossible to obtain extra clothes/furniture/decor/etc without paying real money. I thought there would be an option to acquire things without being forced to give more money. Like it would take more of the currency needed to buy said things, but no. I'm willing to do more quests or something to earn the required "money"... But I'm very annoyed that's not an option. I stopped playing long ago, so maybe things have changed, though I highly doubt it. It's a shame, it was really fun, too... I still recommend others to play if they wish. It's not bad, it's just really money hungry.
