Disaster Report 4 is completely devoid of all things that make the previous games so fun and engaging to play. This entry feels more like a point and click walking sim with an extremely dry and depressing setting. Even the linear adventure feel of the previous games are gone, instead you are basically forced from one small area to the next where you must intereact with X amount of things to progress the story.

This is a genuinely bad game and I hope Disaster Report 5 goes back to the high stakes action survival elements of the first 3 games.

Late with my review but how I felt at the time of completion is still how I feel about the game now. The concept is very cool, though it feels like more of a visual novel than a survival game. There's also zero consequences to your actions. For example, you can decide to blame an innocent person on a drinking water scam and the end result is no different than if you chose to take responsibility for your actions. There's a system where you need to eat, drink and use the bathroom to relieve yourself - yet none of these really matter or factor into the game. Your character might awkwardly squeeze their legs together as their bladder is about to explode but it doesn't affect a single thing.

As for the narrative, it's serviceable? There's some amusing Yakuza-esque side quests and stories but unlike the Yakuza games there's no real payoff to any of them. That being said, there are some flickers of decent storytelling where I actually felt emotional and were pretty well handled given the sensitive themes of certain story elements. Unfortunately, the negatives far outweigh the handful of actually good moments.

And yet despite all of that, I still went on and earned all of the achievements in the game - partly because I'm a masochist, but also because there was still *something* there that compelled me to keep playing. Was it the optimist in me trying to find the good buried beneath? Who knows. If there was a 'maybe' review option, this would be a strong candidate for one.

Pains me to say it, but this game's not a good sequel. It feels hollow and doesn't really iterate on anything the previous installments have done.

I haven't played D3 for more than a couple of minutes, but I played and finished both Disaster Report and Raw Danger. This game in a way feels less and more janky at the same time, when compared to those older PS2 games. It just feels like they cut production budget halfway through dev time. I know this game was delayed for several years due to a real-life earthquake in the early 2010s, so maybe that's why the game just feels disconnected.

I also knew the game's reviews weren't very good and that fans tended to dislike it, but I still wanted to give it a try, after having peeked at it here and there over the last few years. I attempted to give it a try, but I inevitably quit after reaching the apartment section, day 2.
Too much of the previous games' charm is gone. The original games had serious tones like assault and rape in them and the stories did tend to be written in a serious manner, but generally the game was still more "lighthearted", if you can believe it. I think the English dub helped a lot with it. It turned the rather serious (although unbelievable at times) story into a more goofy one, and I think that was for the better.
Here, there's really no comic relief. Most of the time while playing I felt bored. Characters' dialogue is overall not every interesting. Progression triggers are vague at times and not very satisfying. Actual destruction is, believe it or not, a downgrade from the PS2 games.

Oh and the game's littered with dialogue choices upon dialogue choices. I don't know how much they matter, some options seem to be the same, but I don't know if opposite choices would really give you that much different dialogue. I am not opposed to having more dialogue in this sort of game, but here it just feel off.
Survival mechanics seem to have been downgraded too, as in survival mechanics are seemingly non-existent.

To me it feels like the devs didn't really know what to do with this game and didn't understand why the previous games had a niche following. Like, incredibly niche. This game feels like it's for no one.

I've also looked at the game's plot summary (was trying to look up how many days there are in total) and it seems rather grim. I'll leave it at that. Don't buy this game, play 1 or 2 if you haven't already and want something like this.
I highly doubt there will ever be a 5th entry in this series, but if there is I hope the devs will have a shorter and more concise development cycle and that they go back to what worked and look at this game as an example of what not to do.

This is my first time playing any of these disaster report games, and with not much context I will say the this became one of my favorites and one of my dearest experiences. I fell fond of it's humor, stories, characters, everyting. And I really appreciate the way it allowed me to connect with it. I know it's not perfect, but I can say for myself the it's not at all undeserving of my words. The game talks for it self, I'd say, in short, the game it's a worthy experience for what it is.

The game itself is good, but the technical ability of the dev team of this game is a big problem. Every time you run into a cutscene, you need to be prepared for the crush of the game and it's really annoying. The only thing you can do is that you need to save ever time before you go through a cutscene. Well, I played the Disaster Report 2 on PS2 and it was very impressive, too bad the company owning this franchise doesn't have enough ability to make this game great again. Well, I guess it will take a very long time for me to see the next chapter of this game, hope the company owning this franchise can overcome their difficulties and give us more surprise.

Well, I only recommend this game to those who are fans of the Disaster Report franchise and those who can accept sorrowful story. Also, if you're really interested in this game, please calm yourself down and wait for the discount. The dev team didn't take enough efforts to make this game perfect, therefore, we the gamers don't need to pay them the full price.

Ce jeu est juste magnifique en terme d'histoire. Je l'ai fini. On voit l'horreur d'une telle catastrophe à laquelle on est impuissant. Ce qui a pour but de renforcer l'immersion dans ce jeu. On peut avoir de fortes émotions en jouant, on peut voir la cruauté de certains humains quand une société s'effondre. Seul hic pour moi, la gestion de la faim et soif presque inexistante. Dans le jeu le ps2 si on avait trop soif, on perdait sa vie. Il y avait un vrai dilemme avec ça. Je pense que ça aurait pu être mieux exploité. Les points de moral et immoralité pas exploité du tout. Juste ça, sinon le jeu en vaut la peine.

基於從一代玩到四代的玩家，更多的是對這款遊戲的感慨，PSP的絕體絕命都市3：步向毀壞的城市與少女之歌，無疑是這系列的巔峰，四代還是耐心的玩完，我覺得遊戲畫面上可接受，因為這系列遊戲畫面並不是重點，而是劇情上。
四代的劇情真的是有種讓人一言難盡的感覺，劇情不是不順，而是順的很勉強，整場由完就像手指被木屑戳到的感覺一樣。
基於玩這系列這麼久的歷程，如果沒有五代，我會很難過四代結束系列，並不完美。

Disaster Report 4 is a very unique earthquake survival/walking simulator.

Character models are very nice, especially the female protagonist and Kanae.

2代给了我很深的印象从此对此系列念念不忘当年首发白金了日文PS4版如今出了PC版且首次官方中文化自然是要支持一下的但除去这一层回忆与好感滤镜再看这一代的话其实是很不及格的无论是画面还是剧情都很难让人满意而且中文版阉割了当年日文版的防灾手册给贫瘠的游戏本体又砍上了一刀但无论怎样在我看来这一作能延期十多年终于问世还是难给差评希望下一代能全面进步才不负这一路走来的粉丝的支持

正直オススメかと言われるとむずかしいが、絶体絶命都市1/2がおもしろかった身としてはとても楽しくプレイできた。
ただあまりに雑なつくり、シナリオの強引さ（きっと予算が足りなかったのだろう）が目につきすぎる。
それでも恒例のおバカ選択肢と相まってうやむやにしてくれるのが本作の魅力なんだろう。
ラフな展開が嫌いではなく、大人がある程度金かけてつくったバカゲーだと思うと相当の優秀作であることは間違いない。

指引做的太差了，以至于没有攻略完全打不下去，感觉开发组就是做了个毫无完善的Demo。古早日本游戏指引弱也算是通病可以理解，但是这部2018年发售的游戏真不应该是这个样子的。除此之外，很多机制真的太太太死板了而且不科学（就比如有一关招人入会得招一个送一个不能一下招三个再全送过去，不然直接卡关，我寻思都TM地震了哪来的闲工夫反复跑来跑去啊，真的有点大无语 + 退游戏必须回存档点才能退也是挺牛逼的）。人物动作生硬，很多时候都是磨蹭的重复对话和bgm，导致环境渲染烘托根本不够完全无法体现出灾难发生时的紧迫以及千钧一发。除此之外，开车划船视角键位都极其反人类造成游玩体验不佳，一半剧情都是重复性极高令人昏昏欲睡的鸡毛蒜皮事件。总之，这部作品我甚至都不建议去云通关因为70%的剧情都是各种扯淡灌水很浪费时间，不如直接找知乎写的剧情总览看一遍得了。。。

不过，游戏结局配乐还是挺不错的，旋律很感人，值得一听

难得写一次不推荐...头一次听说这个游戏大约还是在我刚上大学那会儿，阅读UCG当时就已经是说地震导致跳票多年，后续没有主机所以也一直没有体验过。结果前段时间翻ps4老游戏发现了这个，再一翻发现20年已经上了steam，那趁着前段时间打折就拿下了。
先说说优点吧，毕竟是很少见的地震题材的游戏，会有地震导致楼房倒塌、地面断裂的画面，市面上应该是几乎没有竞品的（有我也不知道啊），史低的情况下如果对题材有点兴趣的话可以考虑。
然后优点就上面那么一条了，下面全是缺点。
第一个是优化/技术不行，不光cpu疯转而且帧数也不高，难得的一个第三人称视角能给我玩晕的游戏...后期还数次出现了游戏崩溃的问题，叠加固定存档点存档和只能一句一句话跳过的剧情更放大了这个问题。建模和任务动作也挺粗糙的。
第二个是过于古式的任务引导。任务线是环环相扣的，不和前面的npc对话则无法触发下一步对话，而几乎无引导的任务则需要把现场大多数人和地点都互动一次，有些不大的判定位置更是会导致错过...感觉像是走路模拟器导致的延长游戏时间的举措。
第三个是上哪都得加载一下的操作，上个厕所/开个门都得加载两次动画，玩起来感觉就一顿一顿
第四个是贫瘠的游戏内容和游玩方式，完全的走路和对话模拟器，这个题材其实应该有着更多的玩法挖掘潜力。

[spoiler] 相比起地震的伤害，游戏内主角遇到的困难更多的来自于人--地震下人们各种各样的心思在灾难下体现的淋漓尽致，霸凌、歧视、犯罪活动层出不穷；团结、牺牲也并不少见。活生生的万花筒。可惜游戏的体量技术和演出限制了剧情的展现。而且虽然我认为能理解游戏的主旨但是感觉剧情是十分散乱的，缺乏强关联和升华或者深化剧情的部分。 [/spoiler]

雖然選項很多，但基本上沒辦法改變任何劇情，做壞事還能拿錢，只會增加惡名值而已。
其中一個結局用了前面的角色，但幾乎沒有鋪墊，讓人覺得是完全莫名其妙的發展，後日談雖然找了一個理由說明，但跟該角色息息相關，與主角關係密切且旅行過的角色反而在後日談完全沒出場。
另一個結局只能說是完全的無厘頭，感覺做出來就是湊數的。
裡面的壞人當壞人幾乎毫無成本，感覺上就像在鼓勵做壞事，雖然說災難時有人發災難財是一種感覺上很容易發生的事情，但完完全全的從始自終都在做壞事，卻能一路爽到後日談實在讓人很莫名其妙。
特別是後日談距離災難已經過了5個月了喔？5個月了喔？
說的就是你熊澤，這人居然能在災難五個月後繼續賣十倍貴的便當跟果汁，不得不說讓人出戲到不行。
我第一次玩的時候看到彌生的遭遇，還是有些難過的。
但後日談讓我從這種難過的感覺完全抽離了出來，形成一種莫名其妙的心態。
說道後日談，為什麼後日談的時間過度這麼長啊？
浩子失蹤兩個禮拜，然後主角說著郝我幫忙找，然後每一話隔個好幾天才到下一個地點。
主線五天都可以跑多少地方了，就感覺這離家出走失蹤線很沒意義啊，她甚至還等主角找到她之後才遇襲，太剛好了吧。
總之，雖然因為很多搞怪選項讓人會忍不住會心一笑，有時候也會對裡面的角色感到難過。
但整體而言劇情過於讓人出戲，特別是熊澤，這傢伙四處賺黑錢居然沒人處理他，後日談還在賺黑錢，光明正大的賺？
不說了，總之我只能說不推薦，想要體驗一下的話一折再買吧。
順帶一提，我是探索打完一周目跟後日談，然後打了二周目蒐集全成就，所以遊戲時間18.8小時。

This company made one of my favorite of games of all time: Steambot Chronicles on the PS2

Though this game is not a Steampunk Life Sim with customizable robot vehicles, it still has a lot of the "Steambot Chronicles Spirit" - by that, I mean it still has:
-Silly costumes and accessories (makes serious conversations much more enjoyable)
-Awkward and inappropriate dialogue choices
-Dramatic shifts from humor to dark themes
-Strange and unique characters

I played this game on Switch first and the graphics were so awful but I kept playing because the story kept unfolding in interesting ways so let that be a testament to the actual experience the game provides vs stunning realistic graphics. It's visually much better on Steam Deck, but feels like something between PS3 and PS4

I would lose my mind if they brought back Steambot Chronicles in any capacity, but Disaster Report 4 certainly gives me hope they can still do it justice if they had the opportunity

One more thing I'll say is this company was midway through developing a game back in 2011 and basically lost everything due to a tsunami and earthquake and had to start from nothing, so the fact that they continued to make games about natural disasters and kept such a sense of humor around the topic is pretty admirable

Fingers crossed Steambot Chronicles Remake and Steambot Chronicles II happen in my lifetime

굳이 할 이유를 못 찾겠는 게임.

이 시리즈의 유니크함을 감안해도 단점이 많은게 문제.
"일본게임 치고는 괜찮은 그래픽" 과 사양들이 높아져 최적화가 해결된것.
을 감안하더라도. 여전히 그래픽 대비 최적화가 인디 수준이고.
게임 시스템 자체가 플스 2시절에 머물러 있어 그래픽이 좋아져도 의미가 없음.

보통 일본 게임이면 게임성 좀 구려도 평가가 높은편인데.
사람들이 기대하는 일본겜의 선정성과 과격함도 부족하고
캐릭터의 외형도 미묘하게 미형들이 아닌 느낌이라
그런면을 충족 못하는것도 있을듯

If you are a fan of the game like me who played Disaster Report 1 and 2 (u might know it as Raw Danger) before u should give it a try. It might be not that good compare to those two game on PS2 but it bring back some good memories.

However, if you are not a fan of this game, maybe try to play one on PS2 first see if you like it.

正直、出来は全くよくない。動きが全体的にもっさりしていて動かしずらい。シリーズ最低レベル。でも復活してくれてありがとうございます。
また続編お願いします。

基本的にギャグゲーですが、災害時の知識が手に入る上に、
災害時の被害状況などを視覚的に体感できますので、昨今の災害が多発する本国においては
プレイする価値があると思います。シミュレートできるだけでも貴重なゲームですね。

旧シリーズは未プレイですが実況動画等で内容はある程度把握済。
それらシリーズを汚すレベルの駄作とは聞き及んでいましたが、セールで1000円ちょいになっていたので購入。噂に違わぬ出来でした。
まずイベント発生箇所やインタラクト箇所がわかりにくく、カメラが劣悪で見通しが悪いため移動するだけでストレスがたまります。狭い屋内は特に。
サバイバル要素はガワだけ用意してありますが飲まず食わずトイレいかずでも待機モーションがちょっと変わるだけ。ゲーム的な影響はありません。余震で転んでダメージ受けてもマップ移動時に全快するので救急キットも不要。
死亡するのは倒壊する建物に巻き込まれた時くらい。まあ何度か初見殺しをくらいましたが…クソカメラのせいで事前にどこが崩れそうかなんて把握できません。

もっとも、サバイバル要素はなくて良かったと思う面もあります。ストーリーが胸糞すぎて同じ所を何回もプレイしたくないので。
カ〇ニ〇グ竹〇似のおっさんを筆頭に全編でクソ野郎どもばかりが幅を利かせたあげく、罰をうけるでも反省するでもなくそのまま舞台から退場して生還。普段は善人なのに災害ですさんだみたいな言い訳もちょいちょいありますが、災害そっちのけで個人のいがみ合いをしてる奴か、災害につけこみに来た火事場泥棒か、災害と無関係に頭がおかしい奴しかいなかったように思います。
逆に災害に立ち向かう勇敢な人々やごく普通の善良な一般人たちは罵倒されたりボコボコにされたり無意味に死んでいったりします。
主人公はそれらクソ野郎どもに対してちょっと文句つける程度で基本介入できず、それどころかガッツリ加担したり、自ら詐欺行為を働いたり。
過去作でも選択肢次第でそういう行動もできなくはなかったですが、今作では選択肢の大半が無意味で何を選んでも結果は変わらず、それらを強制されます。ここが最大の不満点でまさに最悪の極みです。特にインチキ宗教の勧誘をしなければならなかったときは地獄に墜ちた気分でした。
こちらに決定権がないのに善行ポイントだの悪行ポイントだのを付与されるのも実に悪趣味。（サバイバル要素同様無意味なフレーバーですが）

これは絶体絶命都市とカ〇ニ〇グ竹〇を嫌いな奴が作った悪質なパロディじゃないかと思います。

因為我只玩了第２和第３集，我認為第４集和之前兩集的遊戲體驗有點不一樣。
遊戲明顯更傾向解謎和奇怪的冒險故事，過往的求生元素和動作驚險情節大大削弱。
遊戲對白雖然有多個選項，但能夠左右結局的非常少，善惡值去到後期也根本只是一個笑話，有玩到後期劇情自然會明白。
為何我仍然推薦呢？
遊戲的劇情仍然有洋葱，選項雖不能左右大局，但如何誠實面對自己，將會是一個考驗。遊戲帶給你的經歷，也只有絕体絕命都市系列能夠做得到，我很希望遊戲能夠有第５集

[h1] A pretender to the Disaster Report/Raw Danger throne[/h1]

[h2] TLDR: Emulate the first three, it won't cost you a dime and you'll have a much, much better time.[h2]

Let me preface this heartbroken rant by saying that the Disaster Report/Raw Danger/Zettai Zetsumei Toshi games are not good. I don't think that's a controversial opinion, but not a one of these games are good in the traditional sense. They're ugly, silly, often times obtuse and difficult to understand, and very, very, very weird.

But they provide a gameplay experience that is completely unmatched anywhere else. There is no other franchise like this one. The first game, releasing on the PS2 was experimental and bizarre. It was a survival game with some horror elements with no monsters, imagined or otherwise. It was contemporary, the environment was your enemy. You had to evade earthquakes, water, huge fires, collapsing buildings. Compounding this was a mystery, a conspiracy behind the events that were taking place. It was silly, fun but most of all [b]compelling[b]. You wanted to see how the characters were going to make it. Your dialogue options were often hilarious, you could be a borderline psychopath or an every man hero, and your choices actually felt meaningful. More on [b]that[b] later. The path you took, and the ending you got, was up to you. it was great.

Oh, and you get to destroy a helicopter with a firehouse. Yeah.

Then, Raw Danger comes out and blows all that outta the proverbial flood waters. Multiple playable characters, many opportunities to affect the other character's stories (in minor and massive ways), an eclectic and fun customization system. More intense scenes of things falling apart, heart pounding action as you were just trying to survive and get out of there. A surprisingly fantastic musical score. More humorous and insane dialogue choices. And, of course, another conspiracy, one that was up to you (and the various characters) to unwind. I really, really recommend you play Raw Danger, if you can't tell. It's the closest to genuinely great the franchise ever got, and seemingly ever will.

The third game released on the PSP and didn't get a western release, although a wonderful fan translation has been out for some time. The third one unfortunately fails to captialize on the amazing strides of the second, although I'm more than willing to make accommodations for that due to it being a portable release in 2009. For what it's worth, it's still a fun time, and if you liked the first two then you shouldn't count it out.

So, why am I talking about three other games before this one? Because I want you to understand that the series was a real diamond in the rough. A flawed one, but still special. Still great in it's own singular way.

This game, Disaster Report 4, is not developed by Irem (the devs of the first three), and you can REALLY tell.

Disaster Report 4 is the video game equivalent of wearing a man's skin and trying to talk to his wife. It looks familiar, but you can tell something is wrong. It has the visual trappings of the previous games, supplies to manage, disasters to avoid (occasionally..), collectible compasses and a shout button. But that's where the similarities end.

There's a character creation system (which is incredibly limited) and then you're thrust into a bus crash, caused by an earthquake. Why is this earthquake happening? Dunno, it just is. No conspiracy this time? That's okay, that's cool even. Something different, perhaps? Well, you're gonna quickly find that this game DOESN'T HAVE A PLOT.

I mean that almost completely. There isn't really an overarching plot, you're just wandering slowly between areas talking to people until something happens, and then you move on. You meet Natsumi Higa (a recurring) character, help her find some students and then you move on. You meet a shady guy pretending to own a convenience store, then you save somebody and move on. The previous games built intrigue, you felt like things were going on that you couldn't quite understand yet, but you wanted to figure it out. This game? Things just happen and you move on.

There's a really weird side plot about solving racial tensions in one part of town, then you move on. There's a part where you're basically forced to lie to a shelter and claim some random water you find has healing properties, then you kick you out and you move on. You seeing a pattern? Things just kinda [b]happen[b] and then you move on. Not helping this is the complete lack of tension exploring. In the previous games (and especially the second), you were on edge most of the time because at any point, your surroundings could come apart and you'd have to run. Not so in this one. It is [b]really[b] rare that anything actually falls apart, or you have to run. You could probably count it on one hand if you cared to remember.

The "side stories", if you want to call them that, are equally insipid and non important. There's some feud between two companies, and you can buy stock and.. who cares? There's an earthquake happening, Tokyo is falling to pieces! These companies seemingly had no real role in it, so why are we trying to do some stock trading right now? Get out of there!

The new survival needs are also lackluster. The first had thirst, and health. Easy to understand. The second had a temperature system and heatlh, again. Easy. Find somewhere to warm up. The third just had health, to my recollection. This one has hunger, thirst and.. using the bathroom. That's not the worst replacement, but the problem is that I never really saw any penalties for not engaging with these systems.

In the first three, neglecting the meters besides health (which is fairly obvious) meant you died. In this one, there was a period of a few hours of gameplay where I couldn't find a toilet at all (did I not look hard enough? Perhaps), and the only thing that happened was my poor bloke looked uncomfortable.

To finish this long, whiney rant, let me complain about the choices, or lack thereof. In the first two (and to a lesser extent, the third), your choices [b]matter[b]. To various extents, sure, it's not Alpha Protocol or anything, but there are many ways to influence endings, your relationships with characters, and so on. In the second one, there is a whole playable character that only shows up if you make one choice early on. You can end another character's story early with a choice, as well. You feel in control of the plot. This one?

Not a [b]single[b] choice matters until the end. No hyperbole. I couldn't find a single choice that meant anything the entire story. Did I miss something? Perhaps, I disliked this game so much that I really rushed towards the end. But in what I've found online, the only choices that truly matter are where you decide to go on the last day.

I don't like making negative reviews, especially for games by smaller companies, but do not buy this game. Not even on sale, it's usually too expensive. Even if you loved the first three. The only possible person who should buy this are fans that are gluttons for punishment, like me. To all else, just emulate the previous ones and save some money.

全体的に災害の影響よりも人間の悪意のほうが目立ち、悪人が得をし続けるストーリーは気分が悪い。
主人公の選択肢も悪行ポイントを稼ぐようにしたほうがメリットが多いため、意図的にそうしているように感じられる。
というかストーリー上で強制的に新興宗教の代表にされたり、ただの水を奇蹟の水として売ったり主人公も十分悪人なのも感情移入しづらくてきつい。
善行/悪行ポイントという機能を実装したなら善行と悪行でルート分岐くらいしてくれと感じた。（そもそも新興宗教に勧誘すると善行ポイントが加算される時点でガバガバ機能ではある）

余りにも災害要素が薄いことを示すために以下にゲーム上のトラブル例をまとめます。
災害系：地震による建物・道路の崩壊、液状化、水没
犯罪系：詐欺、いじめ、窃盗、強盗、殺人、強姦、放火、監禁、人身売買、etc・・・

Do not expect to have a smooth experience, this is not a good game, and this is not why you should play this, you should walk into this knowing that you are getting a dumpster fire. And most importantly buy only when on sale, at full price this is not worth it at all.

This game is absolutely unhinged, it is another disaster report, expect to have something completely crazy that at times might make sense but which quickly would veer into the nonsensical.

This is not going to be necessarily totally stable, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I enjoyed the time I had in this game when I played it. And I reiterate, this is not for everyone, and never at full price, but if this is your jam it's going to be very much your jam.

過去にPS4版をクリアした上で、改めて本作を触ったのでレビューを書かせて頂きます。

シナリオについては散々語られているので、PS4版との差異とシステム面について。

まず、PS4版にあった[h3]『防災マニュアル』[/h3]が無くなりました。
これは海外ユーザーに配慮してなのか、ローカライズのコストカットが目的なのかはわかりませんが、本作唯一の価値でもあった[h3] 『防災意識をユーザーに持たせる』[/h3]という意義、一種の啓蒙としての存在価値を失ったと言えます。
国ごとで防災マニュアルが異なるのは当然ではありますが、架空とは言え日本が舞台の作品なのだから、実装したまま通した方が本作の存在理由を満たせたのでは？残念です。

次に、日清がスポンサーから撤退しています。
PS4版では、日清の配給車がカップヌードルを配るイベントがあり、カップヌードルリュックというコラボアイテムも存在しましたが、本作が余りにも酷い出来で、企業イメージを損ねる事を懸念してか、イベントもアイテムも無くなっています。

次に、システム面で不便だと感じた点。
カメラ感度が低すぎる。設定でいじることも出来ない。これは最低です。
そして、これは和ゲーにありがちなのですが、FPSに制限がかかっていない。設定でも変更できません。
PCの性能を限界まで引き出し、無制限にFPSを出そうとする為、NVIDIAコントロールパネルでFPSに制限をかけないとPCの寿命が縮みます。

最後に、本作の良い点について。
まず、曲が良い。
本作のシナリオが酷すぎてミスマッチなのですが、飯田舞さんの曲はどれも素晴らしいです。私はサントラが目当てでSTEAM版を購入しました。

次に、PS4では別売りのDLCだった後日談が本編に含まれている。
正直いうと面白く無いし、本編でヘイトを高めていた二人組の犯罪者を懲らしめるためだけにあるような物なのですが、元々1200円で別売りだったんですよね、コレ。
私は勿論、購入していましたよ。悪い思い出ですね。

最後に、これは全てのプレイヤーが真っ先に試してがっかりした部分だと思うのですが、モブの[b] パンツ[/b]が殆ど見えない。
これは確かに、殆どのキャラクターで見えないようになっているのですが、中盤に行く[h2]体育館[/h2]と、DLCの[h2]メイド喫茶[/h2]で見ることが出来るキャラクターがいます。
諦めないで、そこに救いはあります。

Of the time i've spent playing this so far, half of it was running around in circles because you have to walk past veeery specific spots to trigger an event to progress the story. The other half just didn't feel fun to play, character movement feels sluggish, and the camera even slower on controller, and sequences like opening a door are soo slow it just isn't enjoyable at all. Go play the PS2 games instead as everyone else has noted, they're way better

Definitely not recommended for its full price. With discount and if you are a fan since DR2 then it is a bearable game that last about 10 hours. However many things are undesirable, including camera control, story line, choice doesn't really matter except for a moral/immoral point that's only act as a score for trophies. Pros are graphic are not bad in some scene and got to see how Japan may handle an Earthquake.

But really if you started the game feeling nice and fun and hopeful, prepare to be disgusted with certain story plot being either absurd, sad, dark comedy kinda style.

・女性主人公でも小便器で用を足せるポイントがある
倒壊したビルの中のトイレで可能　アニメーション付き(男性主人公の流用)
他のポイントだと男子トイレに入れない仕様なので普通に開発のチェック漏れだと思う
健全なゲームの、開発側のおそらく意図してない部分にこういうのあるとこう…いいですよね

・MOTHER2のネスみたいな服着たモブがいる
モブのモデルは使いまわしが多い　それ自体は別に当たり前だが
他のモブはスーツ着た兄ちゃんだったり目立たない色の無地のシャツ着たおっさんだったりするので
黄色と緑の横縞おばさんがひときわ異彩を放っている
当然こいつも使いまわされるので各地でちょくちょくネスを見かける

・いくつもの「本だな」の中に「本棚」が一つだけある
マップには「本だな」という名の本棚がよく置いてある　なんか響きが馴れ馴れしい
ほぼ全ての「本だな」は調べても「本だながある」と表示されるのみで何も手に入らない
しかしゲーム中一つだけ「本棚」が存在し、調べると何も手に入らない

あとはおもんなかったです
1～3もそのまま移植でいいからSteamで遊ばせてほしい

This game is way overpriced for the low quality. The idea is good, but the janky frame rates and clumsy controls take away from the feel of the game. The controls are also so slow to respond that you can expect to die multiple times simply because the character won't move. Also be prepared to run around in a circle a million times to finally progress the story. This game could have been so much more with good controls, better frame rate, and a clearer progression. I tried to get my money back but was denied. I recommend you save yours.

Le jeu est sympa et assez jolie, par contre, il est court et la majorité de vos choix n'ont aucune conséquences à part dans de rares occasions. La musique est douce et mélancolique, mais ne s'active qu'à certaines occasions dans le jeu, l'audio est en japonais, par contre attention, il n'y a pas de vf audio ou texte, pour l'écrit il faudra, vous contentez de l'anglais.
Je le trouve moins fournis que le second opus qui reste pour moi le meilleur de la saga, mais le jeu vous fera tout de même passer un bon moment et une petite aventure agréable.
Je le recommande, mais quand il est en promotion à 20-25€ maximum car 60€ c'est vraiment abusif pour ce que c'est.

EDIT : J'ai oublié de dire que le jeu passe crème sur la Legion Go, je suppose que c'est aussi le cas pour la Rog Ally étant donné que les deux consoles sont assez proches au niveau performances.

This is a mixed bag really. Everything visually seems to be done as cheap as possible, but the dialogues are funny. Progression is often a confusing path of walking along the right area or finding the right interactable in the environment. They are pretty poorly indicated so you're often scraping along everything to find where you need to go.

와.. 한마디로 그냥 총체적으로 쿠소겜입니다. 개인적으로 절체절명도시 시리즈에 대한 이야기를 듣고 그 컨셉에 상당히 호기심이 생겨 엄청나게 힐난하는 나무위키 평가를 보고도 일단 스팀 평가는 대체로 긍정적이라 조금은 기대를 했는데.. 아.. 이렇게나 저열한 수준인지는 상상도 못했네요. 솔찍히 언리얼 엔진으로 개인이 만든 취미용 쯔꾸르게임 수준이라고 말해도 과하지 않다 싶을 정도로 전체적인 게임 퀄리티가 너무 낮습니다. 솔찍히 모든게 평균이하입니다. 그나마도 엔진덕에 그럭저럭 봐줄만한 그래픽과 이벤트 컨씬 정도가 평균에 해당되는 몇 안되는 요소일뿐, 그외는 하나같이 만들다 만듯한 완성도와 의미가 없다시피한 게임요소, 80-90년 텍스트 어드벤처와 견줄만한 외길 트리거 진행방식 등, 모두가 평균에도 못미치는 미만수준인게 진짜 총괄 기획자나 뼈대가 될만한 메인 기획안 없이 그외 개발팀들이 각자의 생각 적당히 내서 얽키설키 짜집어서 만든 겜 아닌가, 할 정도로 시나리오부터 게임 시스템, 조작방식등 진짜 거의 모든게 제대로된 게임사의 상품인가, 싶을 정도입니다. 요즘처럼 대학내 게임개발과도 존재하고 전문 학원등도 있는 시점에선 그런곳에서 좀 제대로 배운 학생들이 졸업 과제등으로 만들어내도 이것보단 낫지 않을까 싶을 정도네요. 그나마 게임 플탐 정도가 진짜 게임사가 만들어낸 수준에 어울릴만하지만, 애초에 게임내용의 퀄리티가 한참 부실해서 사실상 재미없는 생쇼를 길게 해서 나온 어거지로 나온 플탐에 가깝기때문에.. 딱히 큰 의미를 부여하기도 힘들고요.

진짜 초반부터 영 실망스러웠음에도 제대로 해보고 평가해볼려는 생각때문에(게다가 2만 넘은 돈주고 산겜이니까) 최소 1회차는 다 깨보자고 쭉 진행했지만 후일담이라는 추가 시나리오까지도 끝까지 실망스러웠던게, 18시간동안 어거지로 잡고 끝까지 다 봐봐도 그 실망감이 좀체 커버가 안되는게 정말 졸작이라는 표현을 하는데 거의 주저감이 들질 않는 게임이었습니다. 진짜 구매 안권합니다. 이렇게나 노골적으로 사지 말길 권유하는 게임은 이 게임이 정말 첨이네요. 오죽하면 하나하나 이 게임의 문제요소들을 디테일 하게 나열한다면 몇 페이지씩이나 나열 할 수 있을 정도지만, 그거 나열하고 설명할 시간도 아깝다 느껴질정도라서 이정도선에서 그칠정도로 쿠소게임입니다. 사람들은 뭐 B급 겜 감성이라고 말하는 사람들도 있던데.. B급만해도 엄청 잘 처준거라 감히 말할 수 있는 수준입니다.

본인이 정말 시간 남아 돌고 돈 남아도는 사람이며 일반적이지 않은 똥겜도 그 희귀성때문에 즐길 줄 안다, 라는 사람이 아닌 이상은 정말 구매 안하길 권합니다. 하다못해 가격이라도 쌌다면 그냥 저가 게임이니까, 라는 생각에 이정도까지 기가 차진 안았을텐데.. 정가가 65000원이나 한다는게 개발자들이 양심이 없는게 아닌가 싶을 정돕니다. 전 할인해서 2만3천정도에 샀는데 이 가격조차도 돈 아깝다는 생각이 절절 들정도니 말 다했죠. 사실 만원까지 떨어져도 평가에 호불호가 갈릴거라 생각합니다. 진짜 비추합니다. 괜히 여기 비추들이 하나같이 저처럼 줄줄히 길게 까는게 아닙니다. 그만큼 진짜 총체적으로 글렀습니다. 이 게임은.

As a Disaster Report fan, this is exactly what I wanted from a DR game.
The mix of serious and funny choices, the suddenly change of events, the feeling you get from exploring the map...

This game feels exactly like the classic DRs games, and I love it.
During my entire playtrought I was like "ok, I hope this is not the part where we escape, I want to explore more"

・途中ででてくるボートの操作性がゴミ。なぜこんな操作性の悪いものを採用したのか本当に理解できない。
・屋内のカメラワークが微妙。
・全体的に動きがもっさりしている。もうちょっとスムーズな動きができないのか。
・鍵を持っているときは「使いますか？」なんて聞かずにさっさと開けてほしい。
・縛られた状態での移動や四つん這いでの移動、誰かを背負っての移動など、不自由な移動を強いられることがある。震災のゲームだし、それはあって当然の演出だが、あまりにも移動速度が遅いため本当にイライラした。この移動があると思うと、とても周回しようとは思えなかった。

楽しめはするが、ちょいちょいストレスが溜まるゲーム。
周回前提のゲームだと思ったけど違うんですかね？イベントのスキップを可能にして、操作性良くして、もっと周回しやすい設計にしてほしかった。トロコンのために2周したけどしんどかった。特に団地ステージは2度とやりたくない。3周目性別変えてやろうかなと思ったけど、気力がわかなかった。

我那無謂的道德感真的讓我無法接受這種行為,這遊戲是想要玩家在災難時不要互助合作,最好一路偷搶拐騙更好?
4跟之前比系統簡化之類一堆缺點我可以忍,可是劇情裡讓小人得勢我是忍不了,之前的劇情都是揭發反派惡行,
那這作是不是能完全不救人不用管,可是怎麼查都還是要流水帳式去觸發,例如大樓裡和車站裡求救的女性,

As a huge fan of the two Disaster Report games on PS2 I was super excited for a new game, only to be let down by a fairly boring, entirely linear game. Some of the dialogue is funny enough but the survival mechanics were non-existant and the game just felt like an awful slog to get through.

Disaster Report 4 is my first game going in the disaster report series and I have to say it's a let down. The game is definitely isn't for everyone especially those which are mislead by the "action" and "adventure" tag. The only action I'm getting from this game is [spoiler]Sexual Assault[/spoiler]. To summarize the game in just two words, walking simulator.

In terms of gameplay, you're pretty much just moving around from point A to B and speaking with NPC to progress. It's not quite a visual-novel like experience as the voice acting feels really cheap. Sometimes even when you're in the building, you can hear people from the street clearly. Like how does it even make sense? The controls for the games are really janky and annoying and although it uses Unreal Engine 4, the game's graphic isn't particularly great. The characters facial expression look as dead as they can be and most of the NPC's are just palette swap of each other. You don't really feel the uniqueness of the open world as most section looks pretty identical. The lighting is also really bad. Overall the game itself is pretty similar to Yakuza except the plot is not great and minus the actions. The plot is practically nonexistent and they tried to pull a plot twist on 1 of the ending which didn't work in my opinion. Also not sure why but the game is really adamant on sending a message regarding sexual assaults. Throughout my playthrough, there's actually 3 such cases. I was beginning to think it's some hentai simulator and not disaster report.

Now that we got the bad parts out of the way, the game does some good parts that I like. The soundtrack especially the songs in the game are actually quite good. Besides, you can also banter around in the game as there's many options for dialogues to be choose from. In my opinion, it's one of the highlight of the game but eventually it's novelty wore off and then you're back to it's core. A walking simulator. The game does have some really funny moments and it's enjoyable to a certain extent. The game is also quite decently optimized, during my playthrough there's practically no bugs or any issue with my keyboard controls. Yes, I play with keyboard.

In conclusion, the game is definitely not worth on it's full price but there's an argument to be made if it's heavily discounted. Only then should you consider picking this game up. The game received a [b]6/10[/b from me]. It's good at first but once it got pass the first few hours, it started to be tedious. It's not a Yakuza game nor is it a visual novel game for sure. Recently Disaster Report 5 is also announced, I'm looking forward to it and hope they will improve what's lacking. Especially in terms of Graphics. If you're gonna make a walking simulator, at least make it visually appealing.

ESP: Sabor agridulce deja, Distaster Report siempre fue una serie rara, donde hay un poco de survival con toma de decisiones e historias de todo tipo, siempre con un sistema torpe y algo incomodo. A diferencia de los de PS2, ahora tenemos mejores gráficos pero con el mismo gameplay torpe, unos sistemas de survival que da lo mismo y son totalmente al pedo, para finalmente una historia y personajes no tan entrañables y una gran diversidad de diálogos que termina decepcionando por la no tan buena influencia que tienen a lo largo del gameplay. Lo recomiendo solo para fans de la saga, y hasta ahí nomas.

ENG: It leaves a bittersweet taste, distaster report was always a weird series, where there is a bit of survival with decision making and stories of all kinds, always with a clumsy and somewhat awkward system. Unlike the ones from PS2, now we have better graphics but with the same clunky gameplay, a survival system that gives the same and is totally irrelevant, a not so interesting story and characters and a great diversity of dialogues that ends up disappointing because of the poor influence they have throughout the story. I recommend it only for fans.

Honestly Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories is a Great game. the game mainly revolves you journeying through a destroyed city, helping people along the way. the game feels like a mixture of a puzzle solver and a telltales games all in one, as you forced to do some side tasks in each area, which feels weird if your only focus is survival. the game offers multiple options for dialogue chooses meaning you can make your character be super nice or a complete jerk. I would recommend Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories on the story alone feeling reminiscent to stories like Japan Sinks, and Tokyo magnitude 8.0.

If you want to experience the feeling of disaster survival, this game kind of does it up to a point, but:
- Don't even dream about playing this game with mouse and keyboard. It just doesn't work. You need a controller.
- The way the main character moves... OMG! I think smooth movement and smooth controls are what affects player experience the most. Here: it feels like the character stumbles with every step! Starts running, then stops mid-movement, you are struggling and fighting with controller sticks to no avail.
- Some quests are just stupid.
- The game is quite confusing for me - how to interact, with what. Even when I play it with an achievement guide open on my second screen, a guide that literally explains to me every single step I need to take, I still feel confused and miss certain things.
- In general the way the game feels is unpleasant and I wouldn't be playing it if it wasn't for the achievements. It's a pain.

On the other hand, I really like that the game is strongly rooted in Japanese culture without the strange insipid pulp of multicultural mix that is being fed to us by woke disney or netflix. I play it with Japanese voice and English subtitles and listening to the characters speak is one of the best things in this game. The visuals are nice and some quests are ok.

Disaster Report 4 has some interesting bits and pieces but ultimately just becomes one incohesive mess.

Despite using UE4 for its graphics engine, the visuals are not that impressive even for a 2018 game (first released in JP), the main issue is that despite the visually impressive sets, the lighting and shading looks flat and the shadows sometimes have weird flickering issue. In addition the performance is unimpressive/unoptimized for what you are getting.

The sounds are similarly disappointing, the environmental background sounds are more annoying than helps with the atmosphere. Both the sound effects and the voice acting reminds me of early 2000s PS2 game quality. The soundtrack is good though as always Iida Mai also singing all the songs in the game like she did in RD3, that's probably the only good thing out of this game.

All of the above I can forgive if the actual gameplay and story is good. Sadly this is one of the worst aspect of the game. The game is designed to make you feel like an open-world game, meaning you will pick up story and quests as you explore the world, rather than a typical linear experience. This means that you could technically finish the game quickly without completing several major plot points. The big issue though is that even though it feels like open-world, in reality the game restrict you to small pieces of the game level per chapter, then you need to do/search several required objectives before letting you move along further. Again this wouldn't have any problem at all if this is designed as a linear progression, but as the game does not tell you or even give you any hints on what/where to explore, you really can miss a lot of important scenes unless you're following a guide/walkthrough.

The most egregious issue though, is the dialogue "choice" system that this game implements. Almost every player dialogue and internal monologue the player is presented with several choices of reply. Most of them have 0 impact of the story and just for flavor... until it isn't. There are quite a few choices you need to pick correctly in order to for quests/scenes to come up in the later parts of the game, but you will not know which ones have an impact or not unless you use a guide.

One more thing that I found out late in the game that while at the beginning of the game it reminds the player to maintain a good balance between thirst/hunger/washroom. There is actually no consequence at all if you ignore any of these aspect, they do not hinder the character in any way or kill the player if they're thirsty or hungry or need to pee. What a bizarre "gameplay" choice, espeically for a disaster theme game. And given that you don't really care about food and water, that also renders the whole backpack system pointless, making it just a receptacle for collecting costumes along the way.

All those above baffling game design choices mean you will likely have a weird playthrough where few things happened or storyline seemingly left unresolved. Maybe this is a mean for more replayability, but given the poor gameplay aspect, confusing story progression, you are really just better off using a guide so you can do everything in the game in one single playthrough. For the quality it is definitely not worth the full $70 it asks for, I'd argue it's even barely worth $20 when it's on sale.

This is one of those games that are weird in a way that game at the same time isn't really that good, but different enough to be interesting to play through. So my recommendation goes with few caveats. This is late PlayStation 3 game that was delayed to PlayStation 4, meaning mechanics, pacing and quite a lot of loading screens or slow door transitions are a thing here. Graphics are passable but not great. Also it is fairly slow paced and has signs of lazy console port with how UI and controls work. Also it definitely isn't simulation or realistic. However it can be fun as something different, even if story isn't best, it did make me interested in what was going on with characters and stuff. So it was quite interesting to play through. Also one note to keep in mind, is that game always want you to do things in order. Meaning you can't skip steps if you talk to someone too early, even if you already knew what you need to tell them, you need to do all steps in between, And it has some annoyances, like there is difference if you for example speak with store clerk while standing behind counter and not, or how at some point with one you need to not buy anything to get dialogue and have to choose 1 option, despite there being no hint about it, so you can than ask question you need to ask. In both cases, I think those stuff weren't really necessary. So be prepared on a bit of that. Still, I did like destruction and all, like it is no simulation, but earthquakes, based for ear game was built for, were nice. So if you are willing to overlook the flaws or just work with them, I recommend this game.

다만 지진 탈출 게임이라기보다는 어드밴처... 그러니까 포인트앤 클릭류 게임 생각하고 플레이하면 좀 편안함...
뭔가 이벤트를 만족해야 다음장으로 넘어갈 수 있고 시간의 흐름이 생긴다.
요정도만 생각하고 하면 게임을 플레이하면서 느끼는 불편함이 줄어든다. 이런류의 게임인걸 알고 하니까..
가끔 불편한 시점이나 대화 빠르게 넘기는게 힘든 부분이라거나.... 이런 부분 빼고는 재밌게 플레이 한거 같다.
22종 나침반 모으기도 후일담 플레이하면 너무 쉽게 클리어 가능해서 수집에 대한 부담감도 적고....
스토리상 불만이라면 가짜점장 엿먹일만한 뭔가가 없었다는게 아쉽다.랄까...

This game is pretty dang engaging, really enjoyed the action and story-- not to mention the DRAMA. Each day ran pretty fast but was action-packed. Really enjoyed the collectibles, the outfits and mashing the hell outta the "OOOOOI" button. Quests were a little difficult to engage with at times, with there being a lot of things locked behind talking to certain NPCs, as well as some clunky-ness in the movement of your character. All these things turned out to be pretty minor issues for me as the story is so fun and extreme and insane that you wind up lost in the insanity the whole time.

Let me start off, I loved Raw Danger. So when I saw that there was a game w/ updated graphics from the same series, I knew I had to get it... but then I saw the price. $60 for a game made in 2018?! Granted I got it for cheaper due to a sale, and I ended up saving around $40, but still... As for the game itself, it's Disaster Report. You're going to get a sort of R.E. clone mixed in with natural disasters instead of zombies. Part of the charm to it is that there is also a "Choose your own adventure" spin to it. "Puzzles" (It's how you progress) were more cryptic this time around so expect to wander around aimlessly only to find out you had to talk to a dude back in the beginning of the area. And while it's neat that there's an epilogue, it would've been cool IF it actually remembered your choices. You end up having to remind people who you were, completely defeating the purpose of your clear data; which you had to choose by the way to play the epilogue! All in all, if you're a fan of the series like me, maybe wait for a really big sale. Otherwise, steer clear and save your money.

玩过3代，4代就当补票了，这游戏从制作到发售一直都一波三折。画质也明显落后，优化也十分糟糕，文案也不行，虽然这点在上作中多少也清楚了。最令我糟心是我能玩一小时里就崩了两三次，中间还没有自动存档，一崩就十几二十分钟全木大，我可以看在情怀上加分，但好歹给我一个可以玩通的游戏体验吧。
