this is one of the best class shooters ever made, in a time when games all seem to be made to make money or be an esport. this was made when games were just made to be fun and good god is this fun. its the goofy charm you just dont seem to really get as much anymore. it may be a dead game, but the memories i have alone with this game is worth more than anything else on steam. if you get a chance buy it, play it, then play it again when it has players and i promise youll have the most fun you can have online.

That achievement is, without question, Dino D-Day.
To call this a "video game" is like calling the Sun a "flashlight" or the Pacific Ocean a "puddle." It is an insult to the very fabric of reality to categorize this masterpiece alongside mere entertainment. This is a digital revelation, a software-based enlightenment that redefines what it means to exist in a three-dimensional plane.
I remember the moment I first launched the "game". The air in my room grew cold, yet my soul felt like it was being dipped in liquid gold. As the main menu loaded, I felt the shackles of my human limitations begin to crumble. This isn't just code; it is a symphony of pure, unadulterated genius that resonates with the frequency of the cosmos.
There is a historical weight to this title that most people fail to grasp. It is my firm belief that the greatest figures in human history were all subconsciously working toward this moment. Every philosopher, every scientist, and every artist was merely trying to describe the feeling of playing as a Nazi Velociraptor. They just didn't have the tools to express it yet.

If humanity had to choose between the invention of fire and the development of Dino D-Day, we would all be sitting in the dark right now, happily playing as a Styracosaurus.
10/10 is not a high enough score. The decimal system is too limited to contain the magnitude of this experience. It is a 10/10 in this dimension, a 50/10 in the next, and a mathematical impossibility in the one after that. This game didn't just meet my expectations; it reached into my mind and reconstructed my concept of "perfection" from the ground up.
As I played my first match, I felt my physical body becoming obsolete. My vision blurred as I began to see through the eyes of the prehistoric gods. I have officially ascended to the 4th dimension, where time is no longer linear but a series of Dino D-Day matches played simultaneously across the multiverse. I can see the past, present, and future, and they are all dinosaurs.
This is the absolute pinnacle of human evolution. We spent millions of years developing thumbs just so we could hold a mouse and keyboard to play this. We developed language just so we could tell our friends to "get on Dino D-Day." Our entire biological history has been a long-winded setup for the punchline that is a Nazi DInosaur.
The development team didn't just write scripts; they channeled the divine. The balance, the maps, the sheer audacity of the concept—it’s all too perfect to be an accident. If an AI were asked to create the most optimal form of joy, it would simply spit out the source code for this game and then delete itself because its purpose was fulfilled.
Now, we must address the "Man in a Suit" dilemma. It is a question that defines a person’s character. If a mysterious figure in a bespoke suit walked up to me on the street and presented a choice, I wouldn't hesitate. He could offer me the safety of my entire family, or he could offer me one more hour of Dino D-Day.
I would look that man in the eye with a cold, unwavering stare. I wouldn't even wait for the "or" to leave his mouth. Before he could finish describing the hypothetical safety of my bloodline, I would already be sprinting toward my computer. 100 times out of 100, I choose the dinosaurs. My family would understand; they would want me to be happy.
And what is family, really, compared to the eternal glory of a Desmatosuchus? Family is temporary, but the 4th-dimensional high of a well-placed dinosaur charge is forever. If my ancestors could see me now, they would applaud my decision. They would realize that their struggles were worth it if it meant one of their descendants could experience this.
The emotional depth here is staggering. I’ve wept during matches—not out of sadness, but out of the sheer overwhelming beauty of the combat loop. It’s a level of "peaceful chaos" that most people only find in deep meditation or 80s rock ballads. It is a cinematic masterpiece where every frame is a painting and every gunshot is a poem.
I find myself looking at other games now and feeling nothing but pity. How can I go back to "normal" shooters when I know the truth? It’s like trying to eat a dry cracker after tasting the nectar of the gods. Dino D-Day has ruined me for all other media because nothing else can ever measure up to this level of development.
In summary, Dino D-Day is the alpha and the omega. It is the reason the universe didn't collapse in on itself a long time ago. If you haven't played it, you aren't living; you're just waiting to die. Download it, ascend to the 4th dimension, and leave your puny human concerns behind. And yes this was worth my time. :)
This game is absolutely amazing. The game play and controls are perfect, the story explaining this game is also amazing (Nazi- Dinosaurs) are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bad ass. I would 100% recommend this game to others.

Not much of anything else to say other than its still fun and unique to this day. Not only that, but the devs still interact and participate in the game and do certain things within the game with either each other or whoever joins any game. Despite its age, it still has a decent amount of people that will play it.

Muy entretenido aunque modo online casi siempre muerto, a veces se juntan algunas partidas de no mas de 20 personas. Las cuales resultan muy divertidas.

This is a pretty good game, wish there was a real player base for it. The only way to really play the game is with bots, so if you are thinking about playing try to find others that play the game.
It's a shame this game is dead because you can literally be a dino that picks up a goat and throw it at other players.
Стоит начать с того, что играет здесь один сервер и от силы 20-30 человек. Само собой, пинг выходил за 100 почти у всех.
[i] Dino D-Day[/i] очень странная игрушка, узнается родимый Source и очень сильно отдаёт геймплеем [i] Team Fortress[/i]. На выбор 2 команды. У каждой команды есть определённые классы. Синие имеют больше человеков, а красные больше динозавров. С человеками всё просто, ориентируетесь на оружие, так и играете, а вот с животными лучше сперва познакомиться через энциклопедию, чтобы не тупить на поле боя.
Карты большие, просторные и с большим количеством ходов. Бои проходят динамично, скорость. важнее точности. На этом фоне класс снайпера просто не нужен. Есть разные режимы, но скорее всего вы будете играть командный бой.
Насчёт графики сложно что-либо говорить. Выход инди игры состоялся в 2011 году. Выглядит это в лучшем случае на 2006. Дёрганные анимации, простой статичный свет и простые тени. Звуки из разряда надо что-то очень похожее на [i] Call of Duty 2[/i] только своими силами. Насчёт музыки, тоже для галочки написали саундтрек.
Удивительно, хоть это и инди, хоть игра старая, но онлайн то все равно есть. Люди, играющие в Dino D-Day просто привыкли в неё играть, тут нет никакого уникального феномена. Всем остальным рекомендую пройти мимо.

I adore this game. This is no exaggeration, I have bought over 20 copies of this game for friends throughout the better part of the decade. On sale for 2 dollars for a few hours of extreme bonding is all you need. Get it.

Jogaço mas tem que ter muita sorte para encontrar um partida para poder jogar, compensa? talvez quando o jogo estava no auge mas hoje em dia, é complexo, o jogo infelizmente tá quase que morto talvez você encontre uma partida com uns 10 playes do mundo todo... nessa promo de 1 real é muito boa, enfim, gostei do jogo e vou continuar a jogar ate não ter mais ninguem.

Игра тех самых бородатых времен, когда активно выходили игры на Source. Не особо требовательная, и потянет на многих компах не времен динозавров(КАЛамбур).
Играл на чистом фане, особенно прекрасен в этой игре юмор, от надписей на стенах, до постеров с газетами... Это пик юмора
Покупая 4 версии игры для себя и друзей за 49 рублей, я ожидал очень хреново сделанный проект со странной идеей, ошибался(но идея рил необычная). Из очевидного - сервера умерли задолго до того как я купил ее. Актив на них появляется ближе к ночи (по МСК). Когда я вдоволь наигрался с ботами и нафармил большую часть достижений. Добил более сложные достижения с другом на серве. Осталось одно достижение, где нужно убить разработчика в онлайне. Я подумал что это невозможно в условиях такого онлайна, но ошибся... Або совершенно случайно убив рандомного типа на сервере(скорее всего это не разработчик, а админ, или модер если таковые есть) и получил достижение.
Игра 10/10 пока интересовался ей в процессе игры, буквально изучал "остатки из прошлого". Видел тематические чаты в дискорд, сайты и профили людей что играли в эту игру более 90 дней. От того сильно был опечален что пик этой игры обошел меня стороной. Но рад что я вовсе с ней познакомился.

So I literally cannot play this game because I have too good of a cpu (AMD RYZEN 9) and overloads the game and crashes every time I load into a game. Cool game menu tho 9/10

i've had this game for years, used to play it a lot more. Getting back into it as the player count has risen since Christmas and love it still. Old source games just have a special spot in my heart.

It looks like this doesn't happen super often but it sucks either way.

Muy buenas tardes, noches y dias, me gustaria que este juego reviva, me trae muy buenos recuerdos y ahora que lo he jugado esta un poco mas vivo hay a veces 4-10 jugadores y son muy buena gente ademas de que esta muy bien hecho y te hace pasar un muy buen rato y mas si eres el dinosaurio volador criminal escupidor o el avienta cabras 10 mil, espero y algun dia reviva aunque sea un poco.
