Your journey begins with a plane crash. After watching your plane burst into flames and fall from the sky, you wake up on a tropical island filled with lush vegetation and hidden dangers. You are not entirely alone. A disabled old man, one of the island’s previous survivors, still lives here. Through his guidance and tasks, you learn the basics of survival while slowly uncovering the island’s mysterious past.

Certain things were a little wonky as far as not being able to move through a hole if there was a piece of material like core or gold blocking your path other than that it was a fantastic game

Игру покупали в раннем доступе. Игра приятная, легкая и чиловая. С друзьями или даже одному покопать земельку, порыбачить, поделать квесты не сложные. Визуально очень приятная, тропический остров, лазурная водичка, понравилось как сделана растительность. Есть даже какой-то сюжет.
Из минусов: слишком легкая, квесты и сбор нужных запчастей слишком быстро делаются.
Возможно если продумать более сюжет, добавить угрозы животных, добавить другие острова для сбора компонентов и копки, исправить некоторые баги, то игра будет еще привлекательнее. Разработчикам удачи)

Nettes Spiel mit großer "Sucht Gefahr". Ich spiele es in der Gruppe und auch Solo.
Es wurde mir Empfohlen und gern mag ich es nach aktuell 30h Spielzeit anderen weiterempfehlen.
I'm a sucker for digging games and it has similarities to the ones that are out there. There are some things that need to be worked out but nothing game breaking (I've come across). Any complaints I have are trivial and since the game is in early access, I expect aspects of the game to change in the future.
The only thing I really don't like is the shared storage of the tables. If I want to make 100 of something on each table, I have to share the storage space across all the tables vs pulling from tables/boxes within a certain vicinity. It would even make sense to have a larger storage capacity in boxes vs your inventory but they are the same. With the amount of materials you can gather, even the largest boxes fill up quick
Other than that, I like the game. I hope in the future there is the possibility for more maps or other features
В целом свои 200-300р стоит, поиграть приятно и можно, но не долго. Больше похожа на игру для мобильных устройств. Нет глобальности...

Игра очень понравилась. Хоть это и претензия на выживание, но всё сделано максимально лайтово. Еды валом, включая рыбалку, которая даёт не только рыбу, но и периодически ресурсы, которые можно переделать в нефть. Очень удобная система апгрейдов, а также снятия и установки. Тех же канатов для лифта. Крафт тоже не является каким-то сверхзамороченным, единственное, что хотелось бы видеть, это планировщик рецептов, а то не особо удобно каждый раз бегать между верстаками и смотреть, сколько и чего нужно.
Le jeu a l'air sympa mais je pense qu'il n'est pas entièrement terminé, il y a plein de bug en tout cas en multijoueur. Notamment l'ouverture des workbench ou furnace qui sont au status "in use" alors que personne ne les utilise.

Quel plaisir. Après 5 heures de jeu, une seule envie : relancer une session.
Ce n’est pas une claque graphique, clairement. Mais est-ce vraiment ce qu’on recherche dans ce type de jeu ? Pas forcément. Ici, le gameplay est simple au premier abord… et c’est justement ce qui fonctionne. On prend très vite goût à creuser pour améliorer son stuff… pour pouvoir creuser encore plus.
La boucle est efficace, addictive, et bien pensée.
La coop est impeccable, très peu de désync, et côté optimisation c’est propre : le Frame Generation tourne nickel, et le jeu est fluide.
En l’état, c’est déjà un excellent jeu, alors que le développement n’est pas terminé. Hâte de voir ce que les devs nous réservent pour la suite.

Well I can see why the description says "work with friends" because man the grind is real when you're playing it by yourself. Having to run back and forth to the batteries to recharge energy and then find random little things to do when even that needs to recharge is a serious grind. Hoping it gets a little bit better because right now I doubt this is going to make me keep playing, I just find it annoying to hit the shovel against dirt maybe 10-15 times and then I'm out of energy already.
I'm going to keep trying it. The mechanics and everything are really fun so far though. But having a friend or two to play it with so it's not as tedious would maybe help. Or maybe not, because then the batteries would really not have energy? Maybe there's an energy recovery mechanic I'm missing somewhere. I wish sleeping in the bed at nighttime would restore energy.
Game is an AI slop with Unity assets. I have only played the game in multiplayer but it's unplayable, from lag spikes to rollback after rollback. Also after some time no one could us any crafting bench as they where all in use but no one was using them and we where stuck.
Good game, good grind loop, digging is actually fun ( i was very skeptical). Only change right now is that it needs to light up items when you have all the required materials. Sometimes it does this sometimes its not.

Der er masser af hygge og "arbejde" i spillet, og det har jeg benyttet mig meget af, og langt mere en jeg behøvede, det er også derfor jeg har brugt så mange timer på det.
Spillet er alle pengene værd og elsker man at farme og arbejde ved et af de mange arbejdsborde man skal lave når man skal lave ting til sine opgaver, så er det lige spillet for dig.

游戏支持最多四人联机，相比较单人游戏，多人联机的体验无疑会更加轻松，不同玩家之间可以分工合作，比如一人负责生存建造，一人负责挖掘物资，一人负责在岛上收集资源等，整体负担无疑比单人小很多。
目前游戏存在一些需要改进的地方，比如没有中文，成就系统等，且现在的游戏丰富度并不是很多，大量的时间其实是比较重复无聊的，期待开发者在后续更新中优化现有问题，并加入中文

Le concept est cool, mais le crafting est un calvaire et la boucle de gameplay mal conçue. C'est un jeu qui ne devrait pas couter plus de 5€.
Ein Spiel nach meinen Geschmack leider im Moment nur in Englisch spielbar. Es ist aber kein Problem ist ja noch fast neu kommt bestimmt bald auch in deutsch. Buddeln und herstellen geht gut von der Hand das einzigste was mich ein bisschen stört ist das man fast 40 - 50 Bananen futtern muss um satt zu sein gibt aber auch andere Möglichkeiten. Das Angeln könnte ruhig etwas schwieriger gemacht werden aber für den jetzigen Zeitpunkt ist es ok. Von mir gibt es eine klare Kaufempfehlung
hat spaß gemacht 14 stunden sind auch voll und ganz ok hat noch kleine bugs aber ansonsten ein solides spiel.
Für ein Early Access gibt es nichts zu meckern. Ich bin gespannt wie die Entwicklung sein wird.

Was a really fun and memorable experience. I did not expect that incredible ending. Took me quite some time to figure out the code and the entrances, but nevertheless, amazing game! My only suggestion is to reduce player collision with underground ores, which could allow easier movement. And also, a portable crafting station could be interesting, especially in the end game during island hopping. I thoroughly enjoyed the jetpack :) Go for it.

Ну что сказать, очень приятная игрушка. Выглядит вполне законченной. Даже жалко было покидать обжитой остров. Прошел за 21 час. Два дня выходных и три вечера. Разработчикам спасибо. Остался только один вопрос... куда подевались трупы? Этот вопрос меня все время мучал и в Subnautica. Ну главное сам выжил и на том спасибо. Хотя, наверное, в чем то это и моя заслуга.

Extremely fun, but short. More islands would be nice.
There is potential here but theres lots of issues still.
Item descriptions are wrong, Mini Dynamite and Dynamite do basically the same amount of distruction which is almost less than the 3rd out of 6 digging tools.
inventory space is wildly undersized for the resources you collect and the power system on player is VERY frustrating. using a wooden shovel? gotta watch your battery level.
you have to make the digging hole a large distance away from the house requiring ALOT of resources to bring power to your hole but you still have to walk over to the house because you have 3 types of inventory, first a shared box all the stations can access, this is the ONLY type of non-player storage that should exist. second you have an upgradeable player storage, with wildly different levels of costs for upgrades. tier 2 energy storage is much easier than teir 1 to make. 3rd type of storage: random boxes you can make that dont connect to stations. frustrating to use.
When digging you fill up VERY fast, thanks 10 items in a stack, and you can get stuck trying to get out of a hole because you cannot mine resources when you are full making you have to drop stuff which has collision.
This game feels like an Alpha not a early access game. this game needs alot more time to cook for the price to be vaild.
Edit in reply to the devloper: Homie i made tier 2 backpack and tier 2 energy storage and i still felt it was bad. the stack size of 10 makes things difficult, i had 3 or 4 upgrades to the storage box aswell and felt i could have 1 to 2 stacks of an item at a time, 20-40 for ores, 50 for dirt, remove the power use from the wooden shovel, lower the next two shovels. the first drill with the two storage upgrades felt good, i did not get past there.
cups and bowls should have a chance of being returned empty. things can be reused

Good game, at first slightly confused what to focus on. At the start it is a slow start. I played with a friend and we were able to beat the game (alpha) in 12 hours. Game kept us very busy all through the 12 hours. Splitting the work on working on base and crafting and him more or so focusing on quests and mats and combine the effort. Game as it stands is a very good game. I feel like its a must to have a storage that you can craft from and this one has it..granted you need to increase the storage..love that. Curious what else would be later on in the future for this game, but would say worth the time to try it.

I have way too many 'Simjank' games in my collection, but this is certainly one of the better ones.
This is why I like it:
1. Minimal jank - in fact, very little at all, everything plays smoothly.
2. All the crafting systems are well designed, and interlock well, you are never short of things to do in the game. It seems that a lot of thought went into this game.
3. It has the genius idea of mashing a digging/exploration game with crafting. This is significant, as you are digging for ore *for a purpose*.
4. It is a chill/relaxing game, without being boring (I have killed too many zombies and cannibals, it is nice to have a break). Refreshing to find a game where you are not walking around with a gun or a sword (enough actual violence in the real world!).
5. Trust in the Developers (I believe they also made 'Contractville', which started off pretty rough (apparently). But, by the time I came to it, it had had regular patches, and was very playable for me. Although Dig Island seems good to go on launch, it is good to know that the devs have a reputation for sticking with it and not just shovelling out another cash-grab.
6. [This is a biggie for me] - It works 100% flawlessly in VR (with UEVR). For these sort of games, I want to be *IN* the game world, walking around in a 3D, 360 environment with everything seen at full scale (playing games on a small flat screen just does not cut it for me). If you have a VR headset - this is a must buy, as the game is wonderful in VR (Contractville, also works flawlessly in VR, although this game seems better optimised).
Caveat: I have only played just over four hours, so no idea how it develops later in the game. That said, I have certainly justified my buy, even at this stage, and the fact that I have only just scratched the surface after 3 hours bodes well.
A surprise hit and a definite recommendation for anyone that is into these sort of games.
