My "playtime" in Steam for this game is what it is because I ended up playing the game using the "Deus Ex 2 Visible Upgrade" moddb patch, which replaces the original binaries with a patched version that has a few essential fixes to play the game in modern systems, without changing the gameplay.

The game is a bit janky, and as sold on storefronts will have some serious technical issues on modern systems, but it's still a good game if you enjoyed the first one. Yes, it's a bit dumbed down and less ambitious when compared with the first one, in some aspects just to fit parity with the console release, but it's still solid.

Terrible Deus Ex game. Decent shooter, but it lacks the personality and flair needed to set it apart from any other of the myriad Xbox-era shooters.
Not as bad as the reviews say. Just treat it like a spinoff instead of a sequel, since that's basically what it is.

Я не знаю как запустить её на нормальном железе. Эта первая игра на моей памяти, которая настолько уёбищно адаптирована под современное железо, что даже ТОННА ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ФИКС МОДОВ ПРОСТО ОТВАЛИВАЕТСЯ ♥♥♥♥♥!"!!!
Я искренне не знаю как оценивать данную часть Деуса, потому что я наверное в нее даже не смог поиграть ♥♥♥♥♥.
Оценю на 0/10, кусок екзешника под 3dfx, который почему-то всё ещё продаётся в стиме на распродажах за аж 32 украинских гривен, хотя он не должен тут даже продаваться за деньги.
Буду ждать ремастереда этой игры, чтобы хотя-бы раз в жизни попробовать её НЕ на кастылях с человеческим разрешением и графоном похожим на оригинал, а не на ♥♥♥♥♥♥ нейрослоп как это было с ремастередом деуса 2000. Если смогу её заставить работать, то обновлю отзыв, а так на этом всё.

This is a difficult game to review because on every objective metric it is a significant downgrade from the original Deus Ex, which I raged quit due to its jankiness but have since fallen back in love with.

In comparison with the original, this game is substantially more small-minded; its artistic direction much less bold (WHERE HAS THE MUSIC GONE!?!?) and philosophically, it is rather derivative of the themes which had already been explored to an extent in the first game. It also offers substantially smaller levels with paradoxically more loading screens (quite honestly the biggest reason why I am probably not going to replay this game).

I think it is a prime example of the Dragon Age 2 syndrome even though it came out before DA2 in the sense that it was meant to follow up on one of the greatest games ever made, and so it would necessarily have to fall short of the sky-high expectations. But does this make for a bad game? Not remotely. I had fun with it, even though its flaws are glaringly obvious.

I think it is hard to hate on this game because unlike Bioshock 2 or DA2 which in my opinion either completely or fatally miss what made their origins great, DEIW instead distills the Deus Ex gameplay in a drastically compressed form. Everything is formally preserved except for the scale of the original game - and yet, because scale is such an important dimension of the original, shrinking Deus Ex is no small sacrifice and naturally contributes to the overall impression that the game is just…a bit unambitious?

I think this is probably a false impression if you pay attention to the level design, the writing and the story, but to defend the game on these fronts would involve spoiling it so I am not going to do it here.

If you like the original Deus Ex, then the question isn’t necessary “Is the sequel better?” but rather “Is it a worthwhile addition to the series?”. I think thematically DEIW makes an important contribution to the Deus Ex mythos simply by virtue of its existence because the Deus Ex series has always been about power and how it relates to the human condition. It is about something which can only get clearer if one takes the long view and adopts the historical perspective by observing how certain things about human existence will always remain constant despite technological change. If you are into bleak, cyberpunk and gritty narratives what you’ll get here is essentially a reinforcement of themes which are already in the original Deus Ex. So narrative inconsistencies aside, it is certainly not superfluous.

Will I ever replay this? Probably not. But is this still an excellent game? Absolutely.

Сиквел первой части, вероятно, тоже был бы на десятку, но решили погнаться за консолями, в итоге технически получилось очень криво, особенно бесят микроскопические комнаты-уровни с загрузками, которые регулярно вылетают (как и в Thief: Deadly Shadows, кстати, от тех же Ion Storm и на том же UE2). Сюжет не хуже первого.

If you're wanting to play this because you want to know what happens after Deus Ex 1, then it's worth a once over. If not, don't even bother. You could even watch a recap on YouTube and you wouldn't miss much. Was an absolute pain to get running properly, and everything is a downgrade from the original. The factions are cool, but without spoiling things they continue the story of the first game in the most uninteresting and out of character way possible. The endings are a huge nothing-burger, won't be playing again.

The game feels unfinished, looks unfinished and may be unfinished.
Music score is nice with the new tracks and all the homages to the original OST.
Can't loose the feeling that Alex D's storyline is an epilogue to JC's story.

Play it on your own risk and only after the first one.

Exiting the game leaves my monitor at a lower resolution. ANY loading screen causes a framerate drop 5-10 seconds after loading into anything, down to like 15fps. My first solution to this load screen issue was to alt-tab out of the game, then tab back in, which fixed the framerate, but I had to do it EVERY SINGLE TIME THE GAME EVER LOADED. I had to circumnavigate this annoying loadscreen issue by opening my NVIDIA CONTROL PANEL??? and manually setting the applications framerate to 60fps while in and out of focus, which seemed to solve the problem. The game is extremely clunky, unforgiving, unpleasant to look at, and the audio is terribly balanced. The game is overall somehow a massive step down from the first game, which is insane given the multi-year gap between the two games, and also how different this game is from the first, with all its new experimental features like the new user interface, and the new ammo system. The first game already felt too on-rails, but this game is for some reason not an on-rail shooter, but it just should be, because it sucks so bad that a flat arcade machine would do better. Overall, unsatisfying, and not worth your money, even if you like Deus-Ex, and despite its attempt to be unique in style, its mechanics fall flat.

Game is decent, nothing ground-breaking or anything.
It's a very easy game, even on Realistic difficulty, which is the highest difficulty this game offers.
This game was made for console, so the graphics aren't that good, but I used a mod to make it run better and with decent-enough graphics.
No crashes.
It is a very stream-lined game, with very few customization.
The story is not good, and is pretty rush. It feels like they made this game very quickly and didn't have that much funding.
The gameplay is pretty lame, but the ragdoll is funny i guess. You gonna sneak around basicaly all game, until the very late game where you gonna shot your way to the finish line.
The positive points i'd say are the funny ragdolls and JC's charisma. But that's pretty much it.
Feels like an expansion to the original game, but rushed and not for PC.
I would recommend to play it at least once. You may to play it 2 more times but that's it. It's 7 bucks, i guess it's fine.

¡¡UNA SECUELA QUE QUISO DAR UN SALTO DEMASIADO LARGO!!

Bueno... Hay varias cosas que debo comentar de este juego para empezar. Este juego lo jugué en su momento antes de que existiese Steam. Así que conozco algunos detalles que otros desconocen. El juego sí contó con traducción oficial al español, al igual que la tuvo también el primer juego de la saga tanto en su versión original como en su versión ''GOTY'' que es justo la que hay a la venta en esta misma plataforma de videojuegos. Sin embargo... Por algún motivo esta plataforma nos ofrece ambos juegos solo en inglés. Y sí, en los sistemas operativos actuales ambos juegos no son compatibles. O como mínimo... El primero es casi imposible que funcione por sí solo, aunque seguidores del juego original han preparado maneras tanto de traducirlo como de hacerlo funcionar en sistemas modernos. El segundo juego en cambio es más fácil que sí funcione en sistemas modernos, pero en el caso de no hacerlo... Existen también maneras de hacerlo funcionar y de traducirlo al español.

En mi opinión personal... Los creadores quisieron hacer el segundo juego más grande y mejor. Sin embargo... Se nota que se confiaron demasiado y pretendieron dar un salto demasiado grande hacia adelante. Y al final... Acabó ocurriendo lo que era inevitable. Quisieron ponerle mejores gráficos y escenarios más grandes, pero ocuparon demasiado rápido las capacidades que por aquél entonces tenían los ordenadores en general. Así que la solución que aplicaron para no tener que renunciar a nada acabó siendo el recortar demasiado los escenarios pasando por pantallas de carga de manera bastante seguida. Incluso hay escenarios que solo se pueden recorrer una única vez y se terminan antes de que nos demos cuenta. Al menos lo compensaron ofreciendo muchas misiones secundarias, las cuales pueden incluso estar cruzadas unas con otras. Y a diferencia del juego original... En este caso podemos avanzar la historia principal eligiendo entre más de una ruta posible. A parte de contar con una mayor cantidad de finales y poder forjar gradualmente cierto nivel de confianza o desconfianza con las diferentes facciones existentes en el juego. Y los aumentos son más limitados, pero igualmente logra conservar moderadamente la esencia original de la saga.

La historia tiene lugar veinte años después de los acontecimientos del primer juego. En el año 2072. Aunque en la primera aventura se nos permite terminar el juego solo con uno de sus tres finales posibles... En este segundo juego queda como ''Canon Oficial'' que el protagonista logró de manera coordinada y astuta realizar los tres finales al mismo tiempo. (El primer juego también incluye un cuarto final, pero es un final a modo de broma y quedó eliminado en versiones posteriores del juego original pudiendo ahora activarlo únicamente a través de la consola de comandos o jugando a versiones iniciales del primer juego en sí.) Actualmente el mundo está logrando salir a duras penas de las consecuencias producidas por el protagonista en la primera aventura, pues sus acciones provocaron que acabase siendo necesario desmantelar toda la estructura mundial de control y poder para reconstruirla desde cero. El cambio más destacado acabó siendo en las grandes ciudades, pues fueron las más afectadas. Solo que en lugar de derribarlas para reconstruirlas de forma completa para todos o renovarlas... Optaron por construir enclaves sobre las ciudades originales. Claro que eso solo causó que se formase una brecha mayor entre ricos y pobres. Especialmente porque usando el pretexto de que como los nuevos enclaves eran lugares muy codiciados y el espacio en ellos era muy limitado, entonces los precios para vivir en ellos eran también demasiado altos. Así que era evidente que esos nuevos enclaves estaban solo al alcance de los que tuviesen mucho dinero. Así los ricos y privilegiados vivirían con todo el lujo, comodidad y seguridad en esos enclaves mientras los demás debían conformarse con las ruinas de las viejas ciudades, las cuales han quedado casi abandonadas haciendo que las condiciones para vivir en ellas sean decadentes y donde la delincuencia deambula a sus anchas. Ante la situación actual... Surgieron diferentes grupos con la intención de tomar el poder por cuenta propia y transmitir su forma de pensar a los demás. Ahora el poder está en demasiadas manos y eso puede ser muy peligroso. Todos los enclaves son únicos con sus propias estructuras y diseños, pero todos tienen algo en común. Cada uno cuenta con una sucursal de Tarsus, la cual es una franquicia de academias a nivel mundial. Desafortunadamente... Esas academias están limitadas solo para quienes tienen mucho dinero, aunque algunas veces regalan becas completas para individuos que cumplen con determinados requisitos que los hagan destacar tanto en capacidades físicas como en pruebas mentales. En estas academias no solo se les concede la mejor educación posible, sino que es el único lugar en el que se les concede de manera gratuita unos aumentos creados mediante nanotecnología y que se implantan por vía intravenosa modificando así la estructura genética de quien los recibe otorgándoles así capacidades superiores tanto físicas como mentales. ¡Y no solo eso! También se les facilita a los estudiantes que completan sus estudios un puesto de trabajo garantizado en una de las diferentes organizaciones tanto públicas como privadas.

El comienzo de esta nueva historia tiene lugar en Chicago. En concreto dentro de su enclave. La vida en este lugar avanza con normalidad, pero en la academia Tarsus están evacuando a toda prisa tanto al personal como a los estudiantes incluyendo también la extracción de determinados proyectos y recursos. Los empleados saben por qué tienen que evacuar, pero a los estudiantes no les están contando la verdad de ello. Por lo visto... Saben que alguien tiene pensado cometer un atentado en ese enclave, pero desconocen la identidad del individuo y si se trata de un lobo solitario o si es de alguna organización especifica. Y al final... No consiguen impedir el atentado. Un individuo sale de un callejón y activa un dispositivo que libera una sustancia que empieza a desintegrar todo lo que toca. No importa si es algo vivo o algo inerte. ¡Lo consume todo! Y el contenido de ese pequeño dispositivo es suficiente para arrasar el enclave completo. ¿El resultado? El enclave de Chicago queda destruido y todos los que estaban en el enclave en ese momento han muerto incluyendo el propio terrorista, el cual acabó siendo el primero en morir. Incluso lo que originalmente era la ciudad de Chicago ha corrido la misma suerte. Los de la academia Tarsus lograron en su mayoría evacuar a tiempo, aunque algunos no lo consiguieron. Los que sí lograron escapar pusieron rumbo directo al enclave de Seattle.

Entre los que lograron escapar se encuentra el protagonista de esta aventura. ¿Su nombre? Alex Denton. Estudiante de Tarsus. Tras ser obligado a evacuar de la academia de Chicago... Ahora será estudiante de la academia de Seattle. Y aquí empezará una aventura que cambiará su vida para siempre... Y no precisamente hacia la dirección que esperaba desde el principio.

No hay mucho más que decir. Solo que a pesar de que muchos han criticado este juego... Yo lo llegué a disfrutar. Así que lo recomiendo totalmente. Puede ser un poco estresante y a veces se cuelga inesperadamente, pero guardando de vez en cuando y avanzando con calma se puede disfrutar de principio a fin. ¡Lo recomiendo totalmente!

По первому ощущению игру упростили. Речь конечно о сравнении с первой частью. Каких-то красивых локаций за небольшое количество часов не нашёл. Удивляет, что после того как первая часть успешно выстрелила, от её успешных аспектов и элементов решили отказаться. Лично я не понял зачем?
Также в игре один вид патронов для всего. Появилось ощущение, что количество способов прохождения и проникновения (кхм-кхм) уменьшили и вообще масштаб всего как-будто меньше стал. Не уверен, может придется наиграть побольше.

Графика и вид локаций серейший и унылый, пресный.
Фанаты называют игру худшей в серии, но если учитывать Deus Ex The Fall, то эта игра намного лучше неё. Это мое личное мнение.

LISTEN TO ME, PEOPLE! They don't want you to know what they did to this game! WAKE UP!

I'm looking at *Deus Ex: Invisible War*, and let me tell you something—this is what they do! This is the globalist agenda manifest! The original *Deus Ex* was FREEDOM! It was choice! It was the ability to play YOUR way, not THEIR way! And what did they do? They CONSOLIFIED it! They took that PC freedom, that LIBERTY, and they SHRUNK it down to fit inside their little black boxes under your television!

The levels are TINY, folks! TINY! Loading screens everywhere you turn—it's a maze, I tell you! They're conditioning you to accept smaller spaces, smaller thinking, smaller lives! And the RPG mechanics? Don't get me started on the RPG mechanics! They simplified them! They dumbed them DOWN! The ammunition is universal now—ONE BULLET fits every gun! ONE BULLET! That's not game design, that's SOCIALISM! That's them telling you that all bullets are equal, all choices are equal, that your SPECIALIZATION doesn't MATTER!

And the biomods? Oh, the biomods! You can't even max out your character anymore! They're LIMITING you! They're putting CEILINGS on your potential and telling you it's for "balance"! Balance! That's what they always say! Balance this, regulate that—next thing you know, they're putting chemicals in the water to make the freaking frogs GAY!

BUT—and listen, I'm fair, I'm balanced, I tell the TRUTH—beneath all this conspiracy, all this corporate sellout, all this console pandering... there's still something there. The writing? SOLID. The story? They couldn't completely destroy it because the TRUTH seeps through! The corporations, the factions, the choices that actually MATTER—it's still there, buried under the rubble of their agenda! The shooter mechanics? They WORK! It's decent! It's FUN, even while they're trying to PROGRAM you!

So do I recommend it? YES! I recommend it because you need to SEE what they did! You need to witness the template! You need to play this game and understand—THIS is how they operate! They take something beautiful, something FREE, and they sand down the edges until it fits their narrative! But the core, the ESSENCE, survives! The writing fights back! The story RESISTS!

Play it! Play it and get ANGRY! Play it and see what we LOST! But also play it because—and I'll admit this—it's still a decent freaking shooter with some good ideas that the globalists couldn't completely ERASE!

This is *the most* 5/10 game I've ever played. Not great, not horrible.

Many things from the first game have been drastically watered down, length included (my playtime is ~9 hours but doesn't show because I played using the Visible upgrade which is basically necessary for modern systems). The new biomod system is not great, but not awful. Universal ammo is just fine. General controls are janky but not too much so.

The story was alright, voice acting was less than great, level design was fine. The different factions were a nice idea, the new inventory system was not. I did like the nods / fanservice in regards to the first game. I did not like the stealth.

I think it was alright fun for its short length and I do think it was worth my time. As a game it's a terrible sequel, as a story it's a good continuation. As a standalone product it's fine. 5/10. It's an alright deal even at full price if you like old games.

infelizmente não chega perto do nível do primeiro (maldita seja a escolha de fazer o jogo pensado pra xbox), mas ainda sim é um bom jogo e a única continuação do deus ex, os outros jogos são prequels. assim como o primeiro, precisa baixar arquivos pra consertar e, na minha experiência teve uns problemas pra carregar save (a partir de trier), mas rodar em modo janela consertava.

Maybe its not bad per say, but still for a sequel to arguably the best video game ever made is very disappointing, I wanna kill Alex Denton with my hands how much i hate the player characters writing. Every ending in Deus ex being canon and happening at the same time makes for a confusing story, the factions aren't that interesting relative to how they were implemented in the game and there are basically no consequences for going against them outside of sending one ♥♥♥♥♥♥ hit squad and saying mean things but you can still work for them like normal. Not to mention how everything was dumbed down from deus ex 1. Still without this we probably wouldn't have gotten the Adam Jensen Games which are very good. Overall a 3/10 game. P.S Its more annoying to get this game running on modern hardware than Deus ex 1.

I am sad to not be recommending DE:IW. I love the original Deus Ex and played IW back on Xbox, but this has not aged well. The controls and UI are cumbersome enough to begin with, but to make matters worse I could just not find a controller layout that felt comfortable.

The world here lacks real character and the environments are as lifeless as the dead-eyed mannequin NPC's. Its a no from me, dawg.

People are too hard on this game. Is it the jankiest in the Deus Ex series? Yes and you'll probably need a mod to get it to run on modern systems. Are the maps disappointingly small and segmented? Also yes. But in terms of story it's thematically superior to the newer titles and succeeds in being a worthwhile conclusion to the original. That being said I can really only recommend playing this game to someone who has played the first game (the story is utterly incomprehensible without this background knowledge) and is willing to put up with its more dated aspects for the sake of the plot.

Pro tip: abuse the strength and melee emp biomods. Guns are lackluster in this game.

I've always been of the opinion that Deus Ex doesn't need a sequel and should have remained a stand alone masterpiece
On the other hand this game came out just a few years after the first and is from the same people, so how bad can it be really? in the end i decided to try it out of curiosity
The first hurdle is the story, as stated, Deus Ex didn't particularly lend itself to become a franchise, and one of the first problems with coming up with a sequel is that Deus Ex 1 has three very different and mutually exclusive endings
[spoiler] IW picks the Helios ending as the canon one
Yes, technically it throws a bone to the other endings, the Illuminati are back in power and some failure in the merge brought about a great collapse, but Helios is the one they really lean into, especially when at a certain point the JC-Helios merge becomes a central plot point
JC couldn't have merged with Helios if he blew up Area 51 or handed it over to the Illuminati
I realize there was no way to make everyone happy, but as someone who prefers Tracer Tong's ending that was a big disappointment [/spoiler]
There's also a couple other things that may conflict with the choices you took in the first game [spoiler] for example Paul results alive here even though he could die in the course of DX1 [/spoiler]
However, once we get over the awkward transition from the first game the story is alright
Not as hard hitting as DX1 maybe but i found the new factions and the conflicts between them made for some good cyberpunk worldbuilding
You can even choose to go through the main storyline through the eyes of different factions, even leaving you the freedom to switch sides at any point or play double agent, and dialogues will be reactive to it
I know in the first game they wanted to have an alternative path where you can remain loyal to UNATCO/MJ12 but they had to cut it due to time constraints, looks like here they wanted to make up for it
At least in this regard the game builds upon the first one, which i appreciate
However, the game has some major flaws in other regards
Many people complain about its length, the game is very short, and its levels are way smaller and more straightforward compared to the first which of course had some of the best level design ever seen in a videogame, but even that is something i could have lived with
The real problem that sunk this game for me is the gameplay
IW sees some heavy streamlining of the mechanics of the first game: no more different ammo for different weapons (even for rocket launchers and such), no more distinction between lockpicks and multitools, no more abilities gained by earning more skill points, no more skill points system at all in fact
The only leveling up of your character now is in the form of augmentations (which are no longer permanent)
I know some people in the first game complained that some skills and augmentations were redundant, but that's the point, one is your human skills, the other is your bionic man superpowers, you could choose to do something by working to train your skills or by just installing an augmentation canister, it offered more possibilities and made for a deeper character customization, that is all gone here
On top of that, many questionable gameplay choices were made in what i presume was an attempt to rebalance the game in light of the lack of skill points
The baton and the prod are now basically useless if not combined with a certain augmentation, same for being able to sneak reliably, as enemies can hear you even if you're crouching without augs
These are all things that really shouldn't need augmentations
Even if you do things "right" sneaking this way just isn't fun, you simply activate the invisibility aug and move past the enemies, but it's also impractical to rely on these powers that consume quickly-depleting bioenergy when exploring the level, either you'll rush to the end or you'll just give up and shoot your way through
Simply put, the game isn't conductive to a stealth playthrough, it can be done, but you'll have to do it [i] despite [/i] the game's design, not what you'd expect from a Deus Ex game
Combat also has problems, you'll meet many bullet sponge enemies especially towards the end and with no skill points you can't improve the damage you make (there are weapon modifications for that but they don't do much), making such fights very tedious
Other small things that irked me: the UI was atrocious, clearly conceived with consoles in mind and very annoying to navigate with mouse and keyboard, especially when it came to the inventory
Some bugs, the most common one is sometimes you'll run into bugged multitools you can't pick up, and every time you try to pick them up they'll spawn another bugged multitool somewhere nearby, you'll realize it only when you keep exploring and you find a pile of multitools you also can't pick up
Also whenever i close the game for some reason it leaves my screen resolution all messed up so that i have to go to the settings and fix it manually, which was mildly annoying

The game isn't entirely meritless, as i said, the branching storyline and factions were handled rather well, and if you don't care about the rest you might actually enjoy this, but i found the streamlining made the gameplay too dull and frustratingly restrictive
If you're like me you'd better look elsewhere, for example VtM Bloodlines is from the same year and offers a better Deus Ex-like experience

퀘스트 마커가 존재하지 않고, 지도 역시 고전적인 방식으로 제공되기 때문에(플레이어 본인의 위치가 표시되지 않음) 다소 곤혹스러울 수도 있겠습니다만... 게임 내에서 주어지는 힌트나 대화만으로도 무난한 진행이 가능하기 때문에 굳이 단점이라고 생각되지 않습니다. 이전 세대의 게임은 플레이어에게 다소 불친절하다고 할까, 어느 정도 생각을 하지 않으면 진행이 막히게끔 디자인하는 것이 국룰이었거든요. 제게 있어서는 그래픽도 그렇고, 대체적으로 시프 시리즈의 3편을 플레이하는 느낌이 들었습니다.

엔딩은 데이어스 엑스 시리즈 전통의 멀티엔딩... 최종 미션 이전의 선택과는 별개로, 최종 미션 도중에 선택할 수 있게끔 해 두었기 때문에 모두 회수하기도 쉬운 편입니다.

두 가지 아쉬운 점이 있다면...
1. 바이오모드를 바꾸고 싶을 때, 무조건 이전에 설치되어 있는 바이오모드를 지워야 한다는 점. 바이오모드 자체는 그리 어렵지 않게 최대레벨을 달성할 수 있습니다만, 다른 기능이 필요해서 바꾸려고 하면 초기화되기 때문에 진행은 자유로울지언정 정작 주인공의 빌드가 굳어버리는 느낌이 강했습니다. 이머시브 심을 표방하는 게임으로서는 큰 단점으로 생각되네요. 차라리 이미 업그레이드 된 기능은 레벨을 그대로 유지하되, 비전투시에만 변경 가능하게 해 주는 식이었으면 어땠을까 싶습니다. 특히 몸통 관련 업그레이드... '대인 은폐장'과 '해킹' 둘 중 하나밖에 고를 수 없다니 좀 너무하지 않습니까...
2. 무기 모드 역시 한 번 설치하면 그대로 쭉 가야하기 때문에, 필요하다면 같은 무기를 2개 들고 다니는 식으로 운용할 수 밖에 없는게 아쉬웠습니다. 업그레이드는 모두 유지하되, 동시에 적용가능한 모드가 최대 2개 같은 식이었다면 유저에게 선택지와 편의성 모두를 제공할 수 있지 않았을까 싶은 생각이 드네요. 덕분에 후반으로 갈수록 무기 모드는 계륵 같은 느낌으로... 어차피 빌드에 맞춰서 쓰는 무기만 쓰게 되기 때문에 계속 쌓여만 갈 뿐...(이 점은 모든 발사형 무기가 탄약을 공유한다는, 이 게임 특유의 무기 시스템 때문에 더욱 극대화되는 경향이 없잖아 있습니다... 닭 잡는 칼과 소 잡는 칼의 발사당 소모 탄약이 같다면, 당연히 소 잡는 칼을 애용하게 되지 않을까요...)
후속작과는 달리 일반 상점 및 일반적인 '거래'가 존재하지 않는 게임이기 때문에(길거리 깡패들의 무기도 주워서 팔아가면서 진행할 생각이었습니다만...), 필요없는 모드 및 장비를 팔 수도 없다는 점 역시 자유도의 저하에 기여하는 느낌입니다.

I am not someone who thinks the original Deus Ex is the literal greatest game to grace us unwashed masses. It's a very good game but I am not obsessed with the franchise. I am not coming in either as someone who swears by whatever prequels the Canadian studios have shoveled out, in fact I am the opposite. I'm playing Deus Ex because I like Looking Glass Studios and by extension Immersive Sims and ended up here after hours of classic Thief and System Shock.

With all that in mind, this game is practically narcolepsy-inducing. If you're not fighting to keep this game running longer than 90 seconds on your pc, or navigating a UI that is somehow both babified and unintuitive at the same time (and I'm saying this as someone who is FINE with the original System Shock), you're in a 70/30 split of load screens and something that MIGHT be called "gameplay"

If you're not going for a piss break and coming back with time to spare (on an SSD, by the way! Nice optimization!) during every loading screen you encounter after walking 30 feet in any direction, you are either being treated to some dollar store Bioware conversation with sidequests that have as much depth as a kiddie pool or dealing with bullet sponges that only exist to give this game some illusion of difficulty (seemingly nullified if you are even half capable of quickscoping with the sniper rifle) and what you get is an "intro city" (not too sure what to call it) that leaves, well... no impression.

I would have more to say about this game, but as I left the city of Seattle, I decided to wait out this newest load screen by getting up and going for some drinks with friends. I met the love of my life, we got married, I got some nice cushy white collar job and somehow managed to buy the two of us a house, started a family, had an affair, and got kicked out of the house after my wife found out. I thankfully found a dingy motel to sleep at by the time the loading screen finished, and the moment I clicked on a door panel, my game crashed, sending me back to my desktop in the blink of an eye with my save file corrupted, losing me 2-3 hours of in-game progress. Back to the backlog, I guess.

PROVIDED THE GAME WORKS FOR YOU this is a must play, especially after finishing Deus Ex 1. It will feel like baby's first Deus Ex after the first but the story flow will give you a good reason to ignore the severe feature downgrades. There are multiple factions you can side with for the entire story so the game doesn't feel linear at all.

If you are having black screen issues after clicking new game try giving the game one CPU core in task manager detailed mode, also check if there is a hung process that the game is waiting for, you can end that task to potentially fix the freezing.

I played this game with the Visible Upgrade Mod, so the time played is not accurate.

After enjoying the creativity and versatility of the first Deus Ex, I started this one with high hopes, and while the game is not bad, my expectations where not really met. The story feels way more flat as the 'conspiracy' is lame and no surprise compared to the first game, the levels are way smaller and while there are still choices I did not get the feeling of an impact of my mission approach like from first game.

All this was not really bad though. My main problem with this game are the small levels combined with many loading screens, which take forever for some reason. It might be a problem of the modern port, but this was "black screen: the waiting game" from time to time, not so much fun.

Imagina você desenvolver simplesmente, uma obra prima, até hoje insuperável por MUITOS jogos aclamados, para quando você decidir fazer uma sequência, faze-la de forma absolutamente deplorável, isso é Invisible War, um jogo que simplesmente pega tudo do original e piora de forma colossal.

Deus Ex fez sucesso no PC, por que você iria optar por fazer uma gameplay baseada em console? com munição única para as armas? menos diversa que o primeiro jogo? e cade o Immersive Sim?, e nem a história, que é O PONTO mais alto do original, conseguiu ser boa aqui, é fraca e quase filler de tão "What If" que essa história seguiu, eu queria perguntar para o Harvey, por que ele achou uma boa ideia canonizar os 3 finais (possíveis e completamente diferentes um do outro) do Deus Ex original, e agir como se todos eles fossem super conexos para definir o futuro dessa lore.

Eu tentei muito gostar, mas eu não sou escravo, ou um sadomasoquista maluco, e eu decido me livrar disso aqui.

This game holds up better in terms of gameplay than every other Deus Ex game including the first.

The kind of people who slam this game are the kind of people who give Morrowind, a horribly outdated, completely unplayable heaping pile of trash from a modern perspective, a 10/10 and they strongly recommend you play it.

They'll tell you Deus Ex Revision is bad because it doesn't run as well as the original game, as if its breaking news that better graphics do indeed impact performance (can you tell I hate these people?).

Story, acting, plot wise I'd say its weaker than the first game, and Human Revolution. But other than that its great,
and worth playing through which is more than I can say for Mankind Divided.

I had no issues what so ever running this on a modern system.

I've played this game from Steam on both PC and steam deck. And it runs a lot better in General on PC . Although the graphics are locked at 1080 by 720.
And at that graphic level it actually looks decent on the steam deck. Cuz it's Graphics aren't much higher.

On the steam deck the game does not work Without Some I'm serious adjustments And tweaks.
It has no native control support so all of the controls have to be manually mapped which is kind of a pain cuz the controls are designed for PC not steam deck.
By mapping the controls to PC settings it's possible to get the game running and playable. Which I did but it's not exactly smooth. It's playable just not amazing.

I really struggled to get through this title. Mostly because of mechanical stuff in the game or constantly getting deaded by enemies over and over again.

It's definitely got a decent story and is worth it if the player is the kind of person who can put up with the fact that this is an older game.
Do I recommend it? I'm not sure. It was definitely a a challenging game to play so maybe

Sheesh - story sucks, gameplay is clunky, UI is awful, and as much as I don't like hating on old graphics - graphics suck.

I was so bored of playing this that in my last hour of gameplay I enabled the invincible cheat from the community launcher just to finish the game faster and see the end of the story. I can safely say I'll never install and play this game for real ever again. If you're looking to play through the Deus Ex games, you can safely skip this game and miss nothing. The prequels don't even address this one.

It's not bad! We fans claim that it's a bad Deus Ex but a good game, and I don't agree with this statement anymore. It's a great game and a good Deus Ex.
Its opening sections are a bit boring, lackluster even; that sets the tone for something that this game is not. The game picks up after, let's say, two hours: the environments, the side quests and the plot really live up to what a Deus Ex game should be.
Endings are kind of mid, but the agency that the Player has in choosing sides and how to tackle the different objectives are very well done.
My save game says that I played for 11 hours, roughly, so maybe it's a 17hr game with restarts and just goofing around to get all the endings.

But then, what's wrong with this game?
- You need the Visible Upgrade mod because this game is finicky as all heck. It still doesn't fix all the issues but makes the game playable.
- Considering that they chose the OG Xbox (my favourite console, better than the PS2 :P) environments are cramped and a lot smaller than the first Deus Ex (although Deus Ex PS2 suffers the same issue). They still have many things to do and people to talk to. (Next time I buy OG Xbox discs Imma get this one so I can enjoy it with a gamepad and check the usability of it all).
- Universal ammo (all weapons share the same ammo pool), good concept but, in reality, it's more prone for Players to have less ammo than what they'd want.
- UI tries to feel modern but it's more unresponsive than intended (sometimes you may have 10 objectives between primary and secondary - you can only see one at a time so, to get to the 10th, it's 9 button presses)
- 90% of weapons don't feel good at all.
• Furthermore, this game has less content overall that may make Players feel they have less options but
they are more streamlined.
- (Speaking strictly on 2025 terms) Sometimes this game felt like it was a mobile title, because of the streamlining and simplification of mechanics, environments and content.

Overall I absolutely enjoyed this game; it still is one of the weakest Deus Ex but it's not a bad game at all. I'd say it's a 8/10 title, really!

The plot and how it follows what happened in the first game is really good IMO; when it all clicked it felt like a continuation and, again, I really enjoyed this game. It deserves respect and a second chance.

Это буквально Thief Deadly Shadows от которого я знатно проблевался, только в декорациях Deus Ex. Я потратил больше времени на починку технической части, чем собственно на сам игровой процесс. В обзоре на третьего вора я написал что потраченного времени жаль, поэтому не стану повторять свою ошибку и просто гляну сюжет на ютабе, чисто ради интереса. К тому же, первый Deus Ex является вполне себе законченным произведением, на мой взгляд, так что вот такие вот продолжения, слепленные на коленке общий нарратив уж точно лучше не сделают.
Мало того что игра технически просто дикое убожество, так она ещё и внешне выглядит как какие-то дешманские 3д мультики с юморком "для взрослых", которые любили крутить по MTV. Что уж говорить о геймплее, я просто всех противников на локации вынес стартовой дубинкой, а для этого достаточно просто стоять у их спины, так как они дико неповоротливые.

Я лучше ещё раз оригинал перепройду, чем буду пытаться получить удовольствие, играя в этот кал.

We really need Deus Ex Invisible War Remastered!

Deus Ex Invisible War is not a bad game but it just doesn't run nicely at all because it crashes and my screen resolution is ruined from playing Deus Ex Invisible War like seriously this game is like way too outdated to run in the newer computers!

When I close Deus Ex Invisible War my screen resolution is ruined!

I loved how a female protagonest in Deus Ex Invisible War because she voiced by Laura Bailey and she's my favorite voice actor!

It is a fun game to play but the constant loading screen crashes are so unnerving and unsettling and at this point Deus Ex Invisible War is just not a good game but it did have very good potential in a good way!

It would be rather better if the original Deus Ex Invisible War gets delisted because If there ever is Deus Ex Invisible War Remastered coming up then I can Imagine it will be a better way to play through Deus Ex Invisible War and runs well on newer Gaming PCs!

If you want to play Deus Ex Invisible War then I'd recommend waiting for when there's a remaster!

Overall I don't recommend buying Deus Ex Invisible War!

Played about 3 / 4 of the game, but don't feel the need to complete the rest of the game, so I only saw snippets of the rest of the game, which doesn't inspire me to carry on. This is definitely not as good as the first game, the level designs are a massive climbdown from the first game, not as adventurous and the level designs often have boxed in appearances (possibly to do with the graphical updates of the time). The hacking system is far simpler than the interactive qualities from the first game, and on Realistic Mode, I found it far too easy so far. It's easy to see why Deus Ex fans were disappointed with this game.
But the reason I'm giving this 6 / 10 is because the basic gameplay was still moderately enjoyable, there were some little new things I did like such as the Spider Bombs, this game did have me reasonably hooked until I stopped.

Ну а мы Алекс Ди, студент академии "Тарсус" чудом спавшиеся от теракта в Чикаго, который оказывается в Сиэтле, где также филиал академии подвергается нападению и сбегает, после чего оказывается втянутым в конфликт четырех влиятельных фракций вокруг поисков Джей-Си Дентона, где придется решить самим, какой из них помогать.

Концовок у сиквела четыре шутки, где нам покажут будущее человечества под властью той или иной фракции и честно говоря все они вышли очень неоднозначными и даже на вид светлая концовка за Дентонов тоже полна неудобных вопросов, не говоря уже об остальных (Лично мои фавориты из концовок это за Иллюминатов и Омаров, первую считаю самой меньшей из зол, а вторую за возможность послать всех к чёрту). [code] [b] Геймплей - Первым делом сразу выделю интерфейс игры который сделан хоть очень любопытно, но ввиду округлости (Словно его делали для круглых экранов) и назойливости, к нему не сразу привыкаешь и сориентируешься. Но в целом геймплейно практически тоже самое, что и в предшественнике, но так как Invisible War делался с упором на консоли в частности Xbox, то много чего здесь упростили и в принципе игра местами стала походить на шутер с элементами стелса, ибо из-за узкого дизайна локаций, многие места пройти стелсом избежав прямого боя крайне трудно или вовсе невозможно.
Во первых, патроны стали универсальными для всех пушек, инвентарь теперь делиться на 12 слотов заместо ячеек где даже еда складируется вместе, а взлом вовсе стал не требовать набора паролей или кодов и достаточно постоять у терминала несколько секунд установив перед этим навык взлома.
Второе, ролевая система тут фактически почти пропала как класс, и прокачка сильно упростилась ограничившись лишь аугментанциями (Они же биомоды) двух типов (Обычные и красные запрещённые) до шести слотов которые даже не требуют медбота для установки, достаточно отыскать или купить капсулу с биомодом и самому поставить или улучшить нужный биомод. Причём сами биомоды можно менять на ходу и порой придется решать что выбирать, ибо у каждой категории всего один слот и взлом компов одновременно с невидимостью не поставишь.
И в общем, Invisible War по ощущениям на фоне первой игры вышел намного легче даже на средней сложности, ибо лечилок, патронов и отмычек было навалом на каждом углу, а стелс из-за не самого умного ИИ и полукоридорного левел-дизайна довольно простоват вкупе со деревянной но вполне приемлемой стрельбой, правда из пушек в основном бегал с дробашом или снайперкой. [code] [b] Графика - Начну с технических косяков на кои немало жалоб в других обзорах и к счастью, у меня ситуация оказалась не такой фатальной как думал изначально, ибо большинство косяков лечатся фан-патчем Visible Upgrade и с ним IW почти идеально работает. Правда оверлей и счётчик времени Стима работает через одно место ввиду местных особенностей запуска, где меню запускается отдельным файлом, а сама игра другим файлом и перезагружается при загрузке сохранений, из-за чего Стим считывает время только с меню, но это тоже фиксится добавлением ехешника с Visible Upgrade в Стим и игрой через него, благо там оверлей работает без проблем. Как-то так.
Что касается графики, она для своего времени очень неплохая чего стоит освещение и отличная рэгдолл-физика близкая по уровню к HL2, да и даже сейчас не режет глаза, при том что большая часть игры происходит ночью и в сине-фиолетовых тонах. Однако ввиду того что Invisible War делался с прицелом на консоли, с просторностью уровней пришлось попрощаться и локации стали более камерными и узкими, которые еще вдобавок разрезаны на несколько кусков связанные между собой короткими загрузками, из-за чего нередко было такое ощущение, будто я брожу по коридорам торгового центра.
Но несмотря на общую крохотность левел-дизайна, вариативность путей и тайники пускай в сильно порезанном виде все еще имеются и сами локации по прежнему любопытно исследовать, и в плане разнообразия мест, разрабы также сумели выкрутиться при общей тесноте, начиная от футуристичных улиц Сиэтла и аркологии Нового Каира до старинного Трира и базы в Антарктиде с вайбами карпентеровского Нечто. Да и сам мир несмотря на казалось бы тёмные времена 2072 года в плане эстетики заметно прибавил в футуризме, при этом еще оставаясь достаточно приземлённым и мрачным. [/b] [/code]

Конечно Invisible War до уровня 1-ого Deus Ex как до Луны, но и до полного провала тоже далеко и на самом деле это очень хорошая часть Deus Ex с неплохим сюжетом ставящий точку в истории Дентонов и вариативностью с множеством концовок, все еще узнаваемым геймплеем несмотря на кучу упрощений в угоду консолей и крайне камерный левел-дизайн локаций, которые при всей крохотности все еще разнообразны, и даже тех. косяки не особо раздражали.
Мда, что-то серии Deus Ex не везёт со продолжениями, ибо что Invisible War, что вышедший позднее Mankind Divided отправили серию в стазис по похожим причинам с той разницей, что IW по крайней мере был законченной историей, а вот история Дженсена осталась оборванной на полуслове. Такие дела.
Рекомендую но по скидке и вместе с остальными частями Deus Ex.

snagged the whole deus ex bundle for 14 bucks aud, a steal for these gem like games. imo, out of all deus ex games this is the best solely because it allows for the player to have some freedom almost like fallout new vegas, where u can choose to either kill everything, or be a good person and stuff. the one game i regret ever playing is "deus ex the fall" bad game, no story and just bad in general compared to these masterpieces.

anyway, this game is HELLA fun. sometimes very confusing bc there are no indications or quest markers for u to follow a certain path, i do get lost easily in this big ahh map. one downside to this game is that there are no instant teleportation and u have to travel manually which can be kind of a drag. youll know what i mean when ur in upper-lower seattle. AMAZING game, still works to modern day even though its old. ALSO, with old deus ex games, they have this software that allows for the game to adapt custom settings based on ur "modern" specs. although this game was made somewhere 2003-2004, it kinda adapts to modern specs from 2025 and probably will continue to adapt further onwards. playing this game was fun for me, before achieving certain endings, i suggest u save before making some critical choices in story, i achieved all 4 endings with this plan, and out of all of them, it really decides on how you as the player sees the world and what technological advancements it should make to understand the situation and plans of other groups.

[h1]BUYER BEWARE:[/h1]
This is another very old video game on Steam that does not work for modern hardware configurations, and is therefore another scam that either needs to be removed from the store entirely or set as a freebie. While you can apparently find workarounds via user tutorials or perhaps installing a mod or something, we shouldn't have to resort to third-party fixes to play a game we had to pay for, and these 'fixes' might not even work.

Unlike some of the other games on Steam that were made during this era of 2004, this game at least allows you to browse its main menu screen to try and change the game's resolution to the largest it could support in that year and there's actually a beginning cutscene that you get to watch where some sort of terrorist(?) detonates some sort of glowy device in the middle of New York City or something and the entire city is swallowed up by gray slime or something. I don't know, because whatever explanation to this mystery that existed throughout the game could not be revealed since the game will black screen as soon as you choose what 'portrait' you want your character to have, which is between male or female, and white, black, and brown skinned variations of the same face. This is apparently a sequel to the first [i]Deus Ex[/i] where you played as a white dude named JC Denton, and so I'm not sure how that really works as a proper sequel.

And that's about all I got to see from what the game could offer to me as a [i]Deus Ex[/i] game, which I always thought was an interesting video game franchise from those titles that I did play.

What is terrible and concerning about this scam of a video game in 2025 is that the application of the game could not be closed from my secondary monitor and I couldn't even manage to open the task manager to force close it and so I had to restart my PC where it booted to Windows a lot slower than it normally does. It may be unrelated, but I don't really trust it as I restart my PC often and that has never happened. I also had to reset my resolution to its native setting, because changing it in-game seemed to have also changed it for Windows as a whole.

Anyway, it's not worth even paying $7 USD for it full price because it's likely not going to work unless you have an older PC.

Much more fun and playable. Great captivating story so far. You can see how this series influenced Mass Effect. My main issue is the fact that the game closes and loads again after every location change.

I'm surprised how good this game is. Based on the reviews, I was expecting a complete disaster. The whole time, I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop, but it never did. Maybe it was a case of over-promising and under-delivering and pissed people off in 2003, but playing for the first time in 2025, I just had a good time.

[h2]Character Creation[/h2]
Character creation is a mixed bag.

This game actually lets you choose your gender, with the same basic options as the Lay D Denton mod for the first game. The voice acting is pretty decent, but played straight. It's up to you if that's an upgrade over the (delightfully) stiff line delivery from the first game.

Character skills just aren't a thing anymore. This also means you no longer get "exploration bonus" experience. On the flip side, biomods can be replaced, so you don't have to marry yourself to one mod per slot for your whole play through.

[h2]Map Design[/h2]

Map design-wise, I was right at home sneaking through vents, just how I did in the first game. The game doesn't give you exploration bonuses anymore, but there are still plenty of goodies to find. There are plenty of alternate routes for stealthy play.

[h2]Mechanics[/h2]

I touched on some changes from the first game in the Character Creation section already.

Lockpick functionality has been merged into the Multitool, so now you only have to carry the one item. I suspect this change was made fairly late in development, because there are some Multitools that don't stack with the ones you already have. This is a known bug. It's up to you if this is a good change or not, especially considering...

...they overhauled how the inventory works. You have fewer inventory slots, but in exchange, everything in the game only takes up a single slot. Different food items stack now. Biomod canisters and weapon mods no longer take up an inventory slot.

Finally, nobody has plot armor anymore. In the first game, some characters were unkillable, even if you dumped every bullet in your inventory into them. Not anymore! In Invisible War, if you can point a gun at someone, you can kill them. The story always seems to handle it properly too.

[h2]Music[/h2]
Utterly forgettable. I mean that literally. The original game's soundtrack was excellent. Every area had its own theme, including a matching battle theme. The only track that sticks out in this game is the NG Resonance terminal. There is one cool audio cue: [spoiler]the sad, distant remix of the Unatco theme that plays in the Unatco Ruins.[/spoiler]

[h2]Plot and Themes[/h2]
Saving this one for last, since it has some (marked) spoilers.

The core premise of Deus Ex is to explore the effect technology, governments, and corporations have on our lives, then put us in a position to do something about it. This is one of those evergreen themes in Western society, and it only ever seems to become more relevant. Invisible War is just as punchy as the first game, and in some ways goes even further.

For example, the way the game uses NG Resonance: [spoiler]the NG terminals are a surveillance tool pretending to be a friendly AI that tells people whatever they need to hear to keep them talking. This is [i]shockingly[/i] accurate to how LLM-based chat bots spy on users today, in 2025. This game came out in 2003![/spoiler]

The [spoiler]Templar[/spoiler] faction in particular is really interesting. Terrible, but interesting. On the surface, they're anti-[spoiler]biomod technology[/spoiler]. That by itself is actually kind of understandable, given the state their world is in. But then they start talking about [spoiler]racial purity[/spoiler], and their combat dialogue seems like it was taken directly from a rant Henry Ford would have gone on after too many drinks. It's a shockingly competent depiction of the socioeconomic conditions that lead to fascism (hey, another extremely relevant topic in 2025).

I have a lot more I could say about this game, but I'll just leave it at this: don't be put off from the mixed reviews. There's a lot to love here.

Ну во первых, я не знаю сколько я в нее играл, потому что после установки русификатора стим перестал считать время в игре и счетчик завис на 28 минут. Тем не менее, я прошел игру и местами даже получал какое-то удовольствие, хотя постоянно смотрел на часы, чтоб понять когда там конец уже. И это при том, что на первую часть я потратил около 40 часов и не мчался к концу игры.

Эта игра запустилась легче чем первая часть, но всю игру у меня после смены локации или квик лоада выбрасывало на рабочий стол, а затем обратно в игру - это очень раздражало, особенно учитывая что в игре маленькие локации и очень много переходов с подгрузкой уровня.

В 2003 году на каком нибудь икс боксе я бы поиграл и возможно не так сильно расстроился даже, но сейчас играть в это не имеет никакого смысла. Даже для ознакомления с историей Дентонов! Лучше посмотрите на ютубе.

I really wanted to give this game a proper shot but oh boy is it a mess. Maybe it was on me coming to it expecting another Deus Ex 1 but the difference in quality is honestly shocking. The game looks somehow worse than it's predecessor, the mechanics like augmentations, hacking/bypassing security and inventory management have been extremely dumbed down (not to mention the god awful "universal ammo system"). The voice acting was alright (be blessed voice actor of Walton Simons) but the main protagonist sounds completely soulless and shallow. Also the game was a ♥♥♥♥♥ to get to work so I don't think you will be disappointed if you skip this title in the series.

本作的玩法相比前作略有削弱。为了适应 Xbox，很多地方都做了简化。但还算是一个合格的沉浸式模拟游戏。
本作出彩的地方在于剧情。虽然整体框架上跟前作区别不大，但本作对各个势力有了更立体的描写。很多人物，包括一些前作人物，随着剧情发展，会发生观念、阵营的转变，展现出各个势力之间的动态变化。甚至各个势力本身，给人的印象也会反转再反转。最重要的是，故事的核心还是 Deus Ex，还是那个后末日、资本主义、阴谋论的大乱炖。而且本作重点描写了垄断资本主义，描写了人们怎么被垄断资本耍得团团转，在我看来比前作更出彩。
总结来说，如果是冲着玩法来的，可能会体验欠佳；如果是冲着剧情来的，那应该不会失望。

I played this from a modded laucher so Steam did not register any play time.

If you're a fan of the Deus Ex saga, try it. You may like it.
It has some good ideas. Some things well executed, while some not at all.

The dialogues are dubbed as if everyone is in a rush, even with subtitles following the cutscenes was a challenging at times.

Overall I enjoyed the experience.

Nie dajcie się zwieść czasowi jaki mam na steam. Ogrywałem tego klasyka na modzie Visual update o czym zaraz i ukończyłem grę wraz z misjami pobocznymi w +/- 14 godzin (zapis z sava pokazał mi połowę z tego więc załóżmy 10 godzin na fabułę). Gra jest przyjemna, czuć klimat serii i fabularnie nie wyszło źle. Niestety jest to blady cień w porównaniu do pierwszej części który jest w dodatku marnym portem z wersji konsolowej. Pod odpaleniu menu i rozdzielczości maksymalnie 1600x1200 moim następnym zaskoczeniem było zobaczenie biblioteki steam po kliknięciu New Game. Co się okazuje, w wersji steam gra nie ma loading screenów więc oglądasz pulpit między lokacjami(a jako że jest to port z konsoli to lokacje są małe i takowe loading screeny są dość często). Oczywiście po zmodowaniu gry (i spolszczeniu bo wiadomo polaczek gra) rozdzielczość była dostosowana do współczesnych monitorów i podczas wczytywania poziomów pojawiły się loading screeny co już nie psuło imersji gry. Ogólnie po zainstalowaniu ww. moda gra staje się bardzo przyjemna aczkolwiek i tak zalecam posiadanie dwóch zapisów bo czasem jeden może się wykrzaczyć( a i quicksave/quickload nie działa nie wiedzieć czemu). Mimo bycia uboższą wersją pierwszej części gra jest przyjemna mimo tego że skradanie nie jest tak dobre jak w reszcie gier z cyklu(nawet the fall był lepszy pod tym względem) a opcja gry pacyfistycznej mimo że jest to raczej nie będziesz z niej korzystał ze względu na to że jest po prostu niemiarodajna( a pod koniec gry wręcz niemożliwa). Mimo to mogę polecić na promocji wszystkim zagożałym fanom serii

Somehow looks worse than the first game, last levels and amount of armored templar soldiers are a joke, universal ammo crap made me run out of ammo multiple times, in dx1 it happened with my pistol too but atleast i had alternative weapons with different bullets, my save system sometimes works sometimes doesnt, crashed a few times, side quests were less interesting than the first one, locations were a lot smaller than the first one and way less interesting, loading screens didn't annoy me that much but they are there.

Would not recommend watch a video or read the wiki if you are interested about plot.
