Unfortunately its not longer available on the steam store but I still play it every once in a while always was a really good game
I honestly believe: if this game was larger, not even different graphics or era, it would be the best game in the genre. It reminds me of a time where games were good and fun instead of tedious and anti-consumer. I am so happy I bought this game while I did!

Overpriced for how old it is and the content leaves a lot to be desired. The game locks things behind a campaign where they make you pickup rubble which takes away any fun due to the rubble usually being hard to pickup and getting stuck under vehicles completely locking them up. The later missions lock away fun tools too like the explosives to make you engage with the other more annoying tools. This game should have had a sandbox system added on which would be a really useful and good feature.
A game I've played a loooong time ago. I wish it received more recognition.

I always wanted to play this game since childhood! It's a really good game in my opinion, especially for my potato laptop. I recommend giving a shot to this game when it's on sale. Just the airport levels are a big boring, but this game is AWESOME!

ein wenig stabieler sein fliegt beim Fahren gerne raus. Ansonsten nichts zu bemängeln
auch der Verdienst ist optimal man kann grosszügig Fahrzeuge und Material anschaffen.

More like Golden Shower addition! This really is as it says the "Gold" shower edition! I purchased this game because it had good reviews. The cold hard truth remains that this game is crap. So unrealistic and down right lame it truly is. The parts of the buildings you knock down instead of replicating cement is more like knocking down cardboard. Badly coded and poorly made. I wanted to blow up buildings my way, but this game forces you to place many explosives in a way that is fake and generic. A complete waste of money and time. Maybe a small child could enjoy this lame a-s-s garbage, but anyone who knows how the real world works will hate how retarded this s-h-i-t truly is!

Ach ja, ein Nostalgie Trip ins Jahr 2010, wo das Spiel auf CD erschien.
Demolition Company ist leider das einzige Abriss-Simulator-Spiel welches seinen Fokus nur aufs Abreißen legt. Das Spiel macht einfach Spaß und hat eine Umfangreiche Mission und Geräteauswahl. Mir gefällt auch der Aufbau des Spiels, von klein bis groß geht es in ca. 20 missionen an den Abriss.
Leider gab es nie einen gescheiten Nachfolger, geschweige denn ein gutes Spiel, welches ähnlich ist.
Wer also den einzigen guten Abrisssimulator spielen möchte, kauft sich das hier

Hidden gem of a game. The game is obviously dated at this point but its just a good fun game. You can take an entire building apart bit by bit with a sledge hammer or blow it up in one go and send debris across half the city.
Why are you playing this game in 2024 or later. It's an okay game about blowing buildings up and stuff. You follow specific missions and can find collectibles for upgrading tools. Overall, I have a vague memory of getting this because Yogscast played it.

L'un des premiers jeux que mes parents m'ont offert quand j'ai pu commencer à jouer à l'ordinateur.
Ce n'est pas le tout premier jeu auquel j'ai joué, loin de là, mais c'est celui où je me suis beaucoup amusé à tout détruire quand j'étais petite. D'ailleurs, dans mes souvenirs, le jeu avait une durée de vie bien plus longue.
Le jeu reste agréable, bien qu'il soit âgé, il ne me déplait pas ! Je le garde dans un coin au cas où je veux repasser du temps à tout faire exploser tellement c'est amusant ~

Suosittelen, mutta varauksella. Mekaniikat toimii ja tekemistä on, mutta yksinpelikampanja on SYNTISEN lyhyt. Pelattavaa on vain muutamaksi tunniksi normaalilla vaikeusasteella. Pelin vaikeimmatkin kentät läpäisee helposti ensimmäisellä yrittämällä. Pelin purkumekaniikat ovat kuitenkin fysiikkojensa osalta vaikuttavat ja kun peliin pääsee hetken harjoittelun jälkeen sisälle, homma tuntuu luonnolliselta ja viihdyttävältä. Peli ei missään kohtaa tunnu turhauttavalta tai epäreilulta. Kenttiä vain on hyvin surkea määrä ja modausyhteisöä ei pelillä enää ole.

I may have had only 1.4 hours in this game total, but I did play it a bunch more before getting this game officially on Steam. The game used to have a nice little modding community with a few custom maps, vehicles and tools/weapons. For 2011, the missions are decent, so are vehicle driving and destruction physics (although they can get kinda junky at times, it's not that big of an issue). Explosions using explosives are satisfying, destroying buildings and various other objects as well. Graphics, while certainly dated are still easily salvageable and are enough to make the game playable - They don't take from the experience too much unless you are on the main maps such as the city where the Demolition Company headquarters building and store with equipment are, because then, yeah, the environment really does look quite bad. Another positive thing however, is that the game supports modern resolutions up to 1920x1080 which is a pleasant surprise. If you use a monitor and graphics card capable of higher resolutions you sadly won't have much here but I personally think that 1920x1080 is far from bad or worst thing possible. The only complaint is that there's a bit too little content making the game repetitive after a while and collecting rubble using some of the vehicles to deliver them to shredding in some missions can be quite annoying and really make you turn away from the game - It's also in part due to these missions why I never finished the game fully, either on Steam or on my old copy. I would still however highly recommend this game even today, it can really be worth your time, is very playable and doesn't even look that bad for the time it was created in and holds up fairly okay today still.

Absolutes Nostalgie game. Ich habe das game damals von meinen urgroßeltern noch auf CD geschenkt bekommen. Das game war eines meiner ersten wenn nicht das erste PC game was ich je gespielt habe. Und jetzt jahre später wieder gefunden und ich musste es einfach haben.

auch wenn dieses spiel schon SEHR alt ist, ist es immer noch spaßig, wenn man etwas zerstören will. süiele das spiel schon lange, hin und wieder mal, und hin und wieder tut es gut es wieder zu spielen. es ist jetzt nichts aufregendes, aber rein zur entspannung ist es zu empfehlen. es geht eigentlich nurr drum, diverse gebäude abzureißen.
ich mag das spiel, und empfehle es gerne weiter.

Used to play it a ton when I was a wee lad. I'd suggest you try to get it on sale but $10 is worth the price pretty fairly. Overall a pretty fun game if you like heavy machinery. Note: you would greatly benefit from a keyboard with a numpad.

So realistic that I needed to go for smoko halfway through the mission after hitting some guy's TV out of the window with a sledgehammer. 100/10 would drop a wall on my head while demoing it before pushing the bits off the roof onto whoever and then leaping off it for zero damage because I've got no workers comp or insurance.

Repetitive and boring, The physics lack a lot of well.. physics. Tools are realy boring to use, and the C4 style explosives leave a lot to be desired.
I was hoping for a fun demolition simulator, I did not get it.

Es hat sich herausgestellt, dass es mit meinen ("zu hohen") Systemeigenschaften nicht klar kommt... traurig!

This game is , after a 12 years, only for a fan of simulators or destruction. Still good game, but after 12 years, its obvious it wont match for example the FS22 :D. In time of release it must have been great game, and for me, who always wanted to play it, only for 6 euro in sale, its great game. If you feel urge or wanna play it, go for it, you wont be disappointed ;).

Jeu très sympa et qui, et cela m'a amusé, surpasse certains jeux bien plus récents (pour ne citer que celui-ci : Demolish and Build notamment sur switch). Petit couac, sa durée de vie : en effet, quelques heures et pouf...plus de jeu puisqu'il est terminé. A noter par ailleurs que certaines missions demanderont de la réflexion pour pouvoir être menées à bien
En conclusion, c'est un bon jeu, dont les graphismes datent mais restent assez potables et qui vous occupera quelques heures.

Плюсы:
1) ААААА ПРИКОЛЬНА МОЖНА ВЗРИВАТЬ ДОМИКИ (За это рекомендую)
2) Пойдёт даже на калькуляторе.
3) Иногда нужно подумать, как правильно снести дом, чтобы не зафейлить миссию.
4) Присутствие модов, их немного, но добавляют веселья, жаль что только мод "Гамбург" безнадёжно утерян:(
Теперь к минусам:
1) Отсутствие какой-либо локализации, но это не сильно мешает, так как можно понять что от тебя хотят с полуслова.
2) Миссии с утилизацией остатков дома, с помощью ковша, это конечно подвох в штанах у игры, когда снести дом ты сможешь за минут 5 (Если получать кайф от этого процесса), то убирать мусор в зависимости от миссии ты можешь на протяжении 20-50 минут. (Вот за это рука прямо тянется не рекомендовать игру)
3) На данный момент устаревшая графика (Да и на тот момент она была так себе)
4) Топорная физика (Но иногда с неё ловишь лулзы).
5) Игра относительно короткая. (Большинство времени вы потратите на вывоз мусора).
6) Управление не оптимизировано под большие мониторы, приходится делать скорость мыши быстрее, что-бы в игре чувствовать себя хорошо.
Подводя итог, я всё же рекомендую игру, НО ТОЛЬКО ПО СКИДКЕ, не покупайте игру за 259 рублей, не знаю что мной двигало в этом обзоре, возможно даже чувство ностальгии и детства, и в целом нравятся подобные игры (КРОМЕ ВЫВОЗА МУСОРА), а так на своё усмотрение, всем удачи.
